okay I think I might be calm enough to dip my toe back into the water with VP, as long as I focus on my original ideas for what I want to do which is softer world-esque stuff. not focused so much on character models but locations and aesthetics.

Read Bring No Clothes by Charlie Porter. If I followed the rule "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything", that would have been the only sentence in the review. Well, really, it wouldn't have existed, implicature is still a form of speech. For a while it didn't exist, since I read this book some time back now, but not out of moral concern, but rather simply because I'm not allowed to use the computers at work for personal shit anymore, and that's where I wrote these. So I finally got around to buying a new e-book reader instead, expect more reviews shortly, written from home this time. But I digress.
Bring No Clothes is a truly awful book about the fashion of the Bloomsbury group. I struggle to think of any redeeming features. It is shorter than the hardback makes it seem, but this is simply false advertising, and not a virtue. It chooses to give each chapter heading its very own entire page to sit on, to blow the letters up to an absurd size with liberal line spacing in the style of a panicking high school student, to pepper the book with black and white photos of dresses remarkable for their color. The hardcover copy I read pretends to have 340 A5 pages, and I would be surprised if it got to 100 with reasonable formatting. In truth it is a nothing but a handful of hastily concatenated half-written filler articles and a couple of unpublishable magazine features stuck between two hard covers for no apparent reason, an unfilmed script for a "video essay" (read: summary) that would be too long to watch and too short to say anything.
It is really quite literally a series of magazine articles. Charlie Porter is a fashion journalist, and his work on the book speaks to his total inability to adjust his writing style to the medium, the astonishingly poor standards in fashion journalism, and the seeming absence of any editing whatsoever on the part of the publisher. Though possibly it was edited, and earlier drafts were even worse. Somehow. There is no coherent theme to the book, no throughline connecting the individual chapters. There are entire chapters that are obviously unnecessary and poorly conceived, which would presumably have been removed if not for the desperate need to pretend the book is so much longer than it really is. Lastly, for some reason image descriptions are done in-line rather than through captions. Is this common in fashion journalism? It sucks to read, in any case.
The writing is shit. It's so unbelievably bad. Borderline unreadable, the structural issues with the book as a whole are reproduced even at the level of individual sentences. Porter's chief flaw is that he is preposterously self-absorbed. He is either unable or unwilling to separate his own impressions and delusions from reality. He spends substantial sections of most chapters writing about the personal experience of researching and writing the book, and plenty of other insufferable personal trivia besides. To pull that trick off without boring the reader takes extraordinary talent, personal charisma, and varied and interesting life experiences, none of which Porter seems to have. Not an amazing range of vocabulary on display either, and somehow I doubt this was a deliberate effort to keep the reading difficulty down. The miserable structure, constant pointless personal asides, and general inability to express what few ideas Porter may or may not have render the book a truly tedious slog.
When reading a non-fiction book, I would like to be able to pick out something I learned about the topic, some basic point of interest. It is impossible in this book, which contains nothing but boring accounts of relationships between seemingly insufferable people. Porter's narration does bring his protagonists to life in places, with some help from direct quotes. Unfortunately, they are brought to life as some of the most annoying egotists you've ever met in your life, which admittedly seems quite plausible for British upper class twits (well, mostly twits). Still, I don't put too much stock in that characterization, as it could very easily be projection by the blatantly self-absorbed author.
I generally try to recommend books to sorts of people who I think would like them, whether or not I was a fan myself. I suspect I am a poor judge of appeal, ultimately, but I try nonetheless. I think nobody should read this book, ever, for any reason. It is not that the book is evil. Reading evil has merit. The book is just bad. There are people who would like it, probably. Those people, in particular, should not read the book, as I suspect it would inhibit their development. Everyone involved in the production and distribution of the book should feel shame proportional to their degree of responsibility for what they have inflicted on the world in general, and on me in particular.

ARTS 345: Blog 9
The last section of the reading is an interview with several designers where the author asks some common questions about their process. For example, how do you edit or know when to, how do you create form, and how do you get inspired. All of their answers were very different. Design can be approached in several different ways, and yields several different results. It's nice to read about how other people approach it because it can be guiding for young designers, but it's not necessarily a rule book. It was interesting to read this book because it taught be a lot about trying to approach projects in new and interesting ways. Finding inspiration in the weirdest and most ordinary parts of my day. Straying from your everyday routine and creating with nontraditional materials. I learned a lot, and will actively work to implement these practices into my process.
This week, we worked on our magazines more. We were supposed to have photo spreads done, but I am photographing people, so I'm scheduled to take some photos today. In the meantime, I worked on one of my collage spreads. I started by gathering several photos from the internet, and then removed the backgrounds of most of them on photoshop. I then took them into indesign and laid them out on the page to create a new image and scene. It depicts a factory in the background emitting copious amounts of smoke with large piles of trash and old clothes in the foreground. It's a wasteland created by large companies like SHEIN. Fast fashion is killing the planet and it's not apologizing. It makes half-assed, false efforts to become sustainable and continues with their unsafe practices. The collage can be seen below:

I am more
Than I could ever show
I am more
Than the girl you think you know
Privacy was not something you were rewarded with as a child. Despite Tony’s best efforts at preventing it, the media would have a field day whenever you did anything. The photos from across the street, the articles speculating on your love life, the questions directed towards you during press conferences, they never bothered you much. They did at the beginning, but then once you saw a newspaper article claiming that you were Natasha’s daughter and she’d abandoned you because of your lack of combat skills, you’d learned not to care.
What mainly annoyed you was when the reporters acted like they knew you. They knew the details you and Tony had carefully selected that they were allowed to know. They knew what you were planning on majoring in, what your favorite color was, that you went on early morning jogs on the weekends. They didn’t know you, and you weren’t planning on letting them any time soon.
Someone that did know you fairly well was Peter, your boyfriend. He met you in Germany, you weren’t in combat but you were there to help. You’d been on the plane when he got there, moving your feet to give him a place to sit. He’d never been on a plane before, especially after what had happened to his parents. He’d expected to be nervous and anxious the whole time, but you had shared one of your earbuds with him and let him read your book (a textbook on biofouling) which didn’t interest him, but it gave him something to focus on. Not the book, that wasn’t what interested him, he understood nothing, but you did.
Of course, being raised by Tony, you had a penchant for robotics and physics, but environmental science was where your passions rested. You were working with your dad in the lab on making his tech more environmentally sustainable. Tony had homeschooled you until you met Peter, and you could have had at least one PhD by the time you were fifteen, but you’d surprised him. You wanted to go to high school.
You’d already been over all of the material, and your dad had argued about the security risks, and it seemed to be a closed subject until you met your boyfriend. Peter was the same age as you, he went to a science high school, and he was more than capable of protecting you if something went down. So, after swearing Peter to basically be your bodyguard, you were allowed to attend Midtown with him.
The two of you had grown much closer in the time you were there, he was your best friend, your partner in crime and, recently you noted, your first love.
Tony was pissed at first, kicking Peter out of the tower, and taking his suit away, but you calmed him down. You were his only daughter, his little girl and he just wanted you to be happy, and Tony could see that Peter made you happy.
You loved going to school. You got to spend more time with Peter, you met his friends, you and MJ bonding immediately. You sat down next to her at lunch, automatically swapping half of your sandwich for half of her fries. The two of you started talking about a book you’d both read when Peter and Ned sat down. “What are you guys talking about?” Peter kissed your cheek.
“The Art of Human Bondage,” MJ replied simply. Watching as the boys exchanged wary looks.
“What?” Peter asked you.
“The book MJ got me to read?” you said. “The one I haven’t shut up about?” you were trying to jog his memory. When he didn’t remember, you rolled your eyes, not really annoyed. “Damn, Parker. You don’t listen to a single thing I say, do you?”
Ned let out an ‘ooooooh.’ “Do you not know your girlfriend at all?” Peter looked at you, alarmed.
“Wait, no, no,” he rushed out. “I know you so well,” you laughed. You really didn’t care, just wanting to mess with him. “I know that your favorite movie is Spy Kids, and you watch it when you’re sad about things related to your work specifically. General sadness is when you break out The Parent Trap, because you don’t want to taint Spy Kids with sad memories and all the tech helps give you ideas. I know everyone, including your dad, thinks you’re allergic to carrots after you faked an allergy attack with a chemical you engineered when you were only seven years old, but in reality you just hate them, and I know that you’re coming over to my place after school to help me study for my calc quiz,” he looked over at you triumphantly.
“Yes, dear, you know me very well,” you squeezed his hand. “And yes, I will be at your place at four-thirty,”
“Why then?” he asked. “You can do any homework at my place if you want?”
“No, I have cheerleading tryouts this afternoon,”
Ned and Peter went quiet, the only person not surprised was MJ. “You have what?” Ned asked hesitantly, not wanting to upset you.
“Cheer tryouts,” you said, like it was obvious. You’d always wanted to try it, the teamwork aspect drawing you in along with the physical component. If you had something to do after school that was giving you physical activity, it would give you an excuse to skip training. You loved that your dad didn’t treat you like you were made of glass, letting you train with Nat, Steve or Bucky, but Friday training sucked. It was the most intense of the week, and you were exhausted from the week.
“You want to be a cheerleader?” Peter spoke up.
“What?” you scoffed, putting the fry in your hand down. “You think that because I’m smart, I can’t be a cheerleader?” They both took a second too long to answer before you stood up. "I've been training with Nat since I was like ten. Just because I don't go out in combat with the other Avengers doesn't mean it's because I can't,"
It was a stereotype you were a little sick of. You could be smart and pretty, and you had hoped Peter would be a little bit more supportive of you. It hurt a bit, not that you'd admit it. You didn't need his approval to do anything, but you'd be lying if you said you didn't at least want it.
"I think I'm finished with lunch," you said, standing up. Peter looked up at you, alarmed. You were leaving. You wouldn't be leaving if you weren't mad, he'd upset you. He was about to rush out an apology when you spoke up. "Coming, M?"
MJ nodded, leaving her lunch tray on the table. She knew Ned or Peter would dump it, and she was annoyed with them on your behalf.
You both had algebra after lunch, so you figured you could kill some time out by the bleachers, you still had nearly half an hour before your class. You were laying on a seat, head in MJ's lap while she drew something. "Am I overreacting?"
"No," MJ spoke without hesitation. You were her best friend, and she was yours, the only person she would ever allow so close to her, both physically and emotionally. "You're allowed to be upset, but Peter also didn't mean it,"
"I know," you said. "I just feel like everyone sees me as this delicate little flower who can't even do a sit-up," you said. It was true, despite the fact that your dad made sure you were trained by the best from a young age, he still didn't think you were capable of taking care of yourself, shown by the way that he literally made Peter promise to take care of you.
"Well, I know you're badass," she offered. "If Peter doesn't, I'll date you," you smiled up at her.
"I'll have to pass," you said as the bell rang. You groaned as you got up and she smirked.
"I thought you could do a situp," you flipped her off and she showed you her drawing, it was you in a Midtown cheerleading uniform, surrounded by a pile of dead bodies. You giggled. "Some of my best work,"
MJ gave you a friendly punch on the shoulder. "You'll do great this afternoon," you smiled at her, squeezing her arm as the two of you walked to your next class.
You had English last period with Peter and as he sat down you didn’t acknowledge him. “Darling?” he asked quietly. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean-”
“Peter, I know you didn’t mean it like that but it still hurt,” you said quietly. “You know, I have so many people out there thinking they know what I can and can’t do, and I just thought that, considering you know that, you’d be a little more supportive,”
“I know, I know,” he said, earnestly. He really hadn’t meant what happened at lunch and he’d felt awful about it the entire time. “I’m sorry. I never meant to make it seem like you couldn’t do anything. I’m so sorry,”
He took your hand and squeezed it for a moment, but when your teacher walked in, you slipped it out of his grasp, leaving him staring at the spot on the desk your hands had rested for the rest of the lesson.
After school, you went to tryouts and you aced them. Of course, you lived with the Avengers, and they never went easy on you. Your negative feelings towards Peter went away when the coach announced who got on the team, your name being one of the few. You ended up walking to Peter’s apartment rather than calling Happy, still bursting with energy when you got there. “I made the team!” you said as you burst through his bedroom door.
Peter dropped his book, startled, but rushed off his bed to hug you, spinning you around. “I am so so proud of you,” he said, squeezing you. “I knew you could do it,” he pulled away, suddenly scared again. “You know that I always knew that right? I never thought you couldn’t do it, I guess I was just surprised that you wanted to, which I know, is dumb. I guess I don’t know you as well as I thought I did,”
You placed a gentle kiss on his lips, smiling widely, “I know, Pete. I know you knew. And it’s okay. You still know me better than anyone else does,”
You sat down on the bed beside him, Peter pulling you in for another hug. “I really am super happy for you, darling,” he said into your shoulder. “I can’t believe I’m dating a cheerleader,”
“Now I know why you’re dating me,” you joked. “That’s cold, Parker,”
“Well, Stark,” he said, poking you in the sides. “How do I know you’re not just dating me cause I’m Spider-Man?”
“You’re Spider-Man?” you asked, mock surprise filling your voice. “You kept that from me this whole time?”
“I guess you don’t know me at all,” he smiled and kissed you. “I love you,”
“I love you too, Spider-Man,” Peter huffed and went to stand up, but you pulled him back by the sleeves, bringing him into another kiss. “I love you, Peter Parker,”
“Hey,” May appeared in the doorway. “I stopped by that new bakery on my way home, got this really nice looking carrot cake. You guys want any?”
“No, thanks, May,” Peter shook his head. “She’s allergic,”
“Oh,” May looked over at you, surprised. “I didn’t know that,” you could feel Peter’s teasing gaze on you as you answered.
“Not many people do,” you shrugged. “It’s alright, though. I should be getting home,”
Peter walked you to the door, knowing Happy would be there soon to pick you up. “See? I know you better than anyone else,” he said, a smug smile on his face. “You know what else I know?”
“What, Peter?” You asked, a smile sneaking onto your lips.
Peter pressed his lips to yours, wrapping his arms around your waist. Your hands went around his neck as he held you for a moment, before pulling away breathless. “You impress me more and more every day,”

✎ ALL CHARA BELONG TO: OBEY ME! ONE MASTER TO RULE THEM ALL
☃ All the angel's exchange student, the one of human exchange student who are witch, the chihuahua
NEW YEAR EDITION
If they gonna make resolution, what it looks like?
✄----------------------------------------------------
Simeon:
- He always make a passionate resolution
- Same type as Satan who actually make the most "normal" resolution
- Beside his father-like resolution like "Learning how to make Luke eat more vegetable and rest well before some big day" he put some serious target in resolution
- But he also add some silly yet interesting resolution though
- "Next year Im gonna trying to take a photo of full demon lord castle landscape with front camera by myself. That might be fun to try"
- He doesn't have any intention to decorate the resolution, but he try to put one eye-catching beads to make him reminded about his target
- He put chihuahua beads with sailor costume:D
Luke:
- This chihuahua put more effort in his resolution decoration than the resolution itself though.
- He make his resolution written by crayon. All 24 crayon color at crayon set (Dont blame me he is just so adorable with it)
- Poor baby doesn't know what should he put to make his resolution more cheerful, as if the crayon isn't enough
- So papa Solomon and mama Simeon come to rescue with some decoration set.
- The three people of happy family in Devildom decorate it together. They make some candy with glitter and some lively cake with googly eyes.
- Luke mad at Simeon and Solomon's idea about chihuahua made with glitter but he can't be mad at them at all 'cause the puppy looks so cute
Solomon:
- This man- I mean-
- He have many plan for next year ofc, but "Why should I write it down?"
- But since Luke and Simeon make one he try it
- He make scaringly normal resolution
- "I will cook more next year, I'm a bit sorry because only Luke and Simeon always cook for me but I don't" is one of his resolution
- Simeon and Luke try to avoid that one. And and he innocently doesn't understand why
- Then Luke and Simeon amazed by how he make his resolution more spectacular with a magic
- "Hey, this isn't bad at all..." He said
- "Im glad we make him write his resolution, Luke. So now we know what we should do to our kitchen safety" Said Simeon

[Testers Wanted] ROLANDS TOWN, a custom neighborhood inspired by MySims
Hi! I've been working on this custom neighborhood for quite a while and I have reached a point in the process where I can finally share it as an almost finished product for playtesting and collecting your feedback! I would really appreciate if you could try it out, tell me what your impressions are on storylines, characters, buildings and landscaping, any bugs that you might encounter and other details that you might like or not like. The ONLY thing that I have yet to do is shoot the pictures for the storytelling albums and the main neighborhood picture. I will pose the sims and take the photos through a backup of the hood folder, so I won't modify the hood in the process of taking the screenshots. Any new edit will be due to your feedback, suggestions and bug reporting.
To make this hood, I used ALL THE EXPANSION PACKS AND STUFF PACKS and a minuscule amount of custom content that I included in the rar. These custom contents are: - the mummy hair and outfit from the Sims 2 Store; - unlocked versions of the bellhop red outfit from BV, butler outfit from AL and therapist/shrink glasses; I don't even know if these are necessary in your Downloads folder since it's vanilla content, so if you could give me feedback on this I would be grateful; - a skyline and a skydome. This hood is inspired by all the MySims videogames and features more than one hundred characters from the MySims Saga, with storylines that may be directly inspired by their stories in MySims or that may divert to fit in the overall story of the hood. There are about 15 households, an abundant townie pool, some dead premades, some custom service NPCs, and also 4 unplanned hobby instructors that spawned in the process and I decided to makeover instead of deleting. I put effort into making each sim, so each townie has been created in Bodyshop and has a specific appearance, a bio, specific personality and interests, job, predestined hobby, preset relationships and even in some cases family ties with other townies or NPCs. I didn't give memories to every single townie because I thought it was not necessary but some of them do have memories. The same applies to dead premades: some of them are fundamental to the story and you as a player can resurrect them to read their memories and learn their POVs. By reading the households' descriptions, the sims' memories and in some cases even looking in their inventories, you will learn what's currently happening in this hood and what has happened in the past. There are a lot of secrets and mysteries for you to try and unknot. You may be confused by what you read in the sims' memories, because sometimes they contradict each other, but that's on purpose and you will soon find out that it's just a matter of point of view. I strongly suggest you to explore the community lots that I've built, as you may find easter eggs if you look with attention, and I also want to know your opinion on the quality of the lots and if you find them amusing. Many community lots are businesses owned by townies. I love townie-owned businesses because it's a way to give townies more depth and backstory and it also works perfectly with MySims inspired characters, since in the MySims saga most of the characters manage shops and venues. I have checked the neighborhood with HoodChecker repeatedly through the process and corrected any errors. I have used clean subhood templates of course, and I have all the anti-corruption mods. I use Pooklet's face templates (link) because I love how they look and I also feel like they are the best templates for ethnic diversity. I also used custom sliders to add even more variety. Once I fill the neighborhood and households' albums with pictures, I will edit this post with an updated version of the hood. I don't think there's anything else to say for now. I will wait for your feedbacks! I am extremely curious and I honestly can't wait to read what you have to say! Note: I'm not a native English speaker so I may need grammar corrections as well. If you encounter any spelling errors anywhere in the game, let me know and I will fix them.

Tumblr media
You took a shaky breath in as you stopped midway of putting a clean sheet on the bed Mikasa would be sleeping in. The room still had some of her old stuff in it, it's just no one ever came in here after she left. You looked around at all the items she left behind. Smiling fondly at an old picture of you two, you noticed a small figure crossed out in the background. Glancing at the rest of the photos on the shelf, you noticed that every photo had something crossed out.
After looking at each picture, you came to the conclusion the figure was Jean. She must have only taken the photos without him and did this to the rest. You frowned and walked back to the bed. Carefully, you climbed onto it and propped a few pillows up to support you as you leaned back.
For the first time in two years, you got a good look around the room. On the side of the room with the door, there was a large glass window overlooking the balcony above the living room. You always found it strange that she chose a room like that when she usually kept those blinds shut. Her bed was in the middle of the room with a tv mounted on the wall across from it. On the other side of her bed, there were a couple of bean bags below the bay window that looked out on the driveway.
You sighed and took out your phone, pulling up old texts with Mikasa. The last time you texted her was three months ago when you got too drunk at one of Reiner's ragers.
mikasa
mikasas pleasdse
come home
i miss you
i miss you so much
we all miss you so much
come home to me.
She didn't respond to that and you wouldn't know if she even looked at it. She turned her read receipts off for everyone after the first week of trying to contact her. The only time she had ever contacted anyone was two weeks after she left the house.
Don't look for me. Don't contact me.
You got a lot of your friends asking if you got the same message. She sent the same thing to everyone who tried to get in contact with her. You still didn't know where she was or what she was doing. The only thing you knew was that she was coming home the next day. You sighed. Suddenly, you didn't feel like cleaning anything else. You briskly walked out of her room and dialed the number of your best friend.
"Hey, Y/n! What's going on?" Sasha's cheery voice rang through the line.
"Hey hey, Sasha. I'm doing great. At least, I think I am. Do you wanna go somewhere? You can pick me up? Or I can pick you up if you like."
"I'll come to pick you up, honey bunny, don't you worry." You heard her struggling with her keys on the other side of the line and snorted at the noise.
"Need some help, Sash?" You grinned while skipping steps.
"Fine, thanks." She grumbled. "I'll be there in fifteen! You stay put!" She briskly hung up.
Sasha had been your best friend ever since Eren's nineteenth birthday party. She caught you and Eren coming back inside just as she was about to leave, with half the pantry in her arms. She asked for your number to make plans to hang out and chat sometime. You happily obliged, which was probably the happiest thing you had done that night.
You tossed your phone onto your bed as you walked into your room. Your room was on the first floor. You got first pick since you were the one who inherited the house. The house was big and beautiful. It was also on a lake. Perfect for the parties Eren and Jean loved to host. Perfect escape from paparazzi.
Your room had big glass doors that opened to the balcony that wrapped around the back of the house. You had a great view of the lake. The room was painted white. There was a black marble fireplace in one wall with a small wardrobe you used for storing memorable items to the band. You didn't need to use it for clothes since you had a walk-in closet in the big bathroom you partly shared with your bandmates. Jean liked to use the large bathtub.
You collapsed onto the bed and stared into the vanity mirror next to it. It was then when you realized you were still in your pajamas. "Oh shit." Your eyes widened as you hurriedly stumbled over to the closet, falling over once.
You grabbed a pair of baggy sweats and a big t-shirt. With duck socks, of course. The outfit didn't look much different than your pajamas but Sasha would probably be wearing something similar.
You threw your hair into the easiest hairstyle you could muster. You grabbed your boots and hopped up and down while trying to put them on while also leaving the room. "Jesus." You muttered.
Your phone vibrated, signaling that Sasha was here. "I'm heading out with Sasha! You're on your lonesome!" You called out to wherever Armin was in the house.
"Okay! Don't be back too late!" He shouted back.
You laughed aloud as you realized how much he sounded like a dad. You opened the front door and ran to Sasha's car. "Let me in!" You knocked on the passenger window as she reached around to find the button that unlocks the door. Once it was unlocked, you swung open the door and hopped inside.
"Nice outfit," was the first thing she said to you. You glanced at her outfit and scoffed. Your predictions were correct, she was wearing something similar.
"Gee, thanks." You gave a lopsided smile and rolled your eyes.
"Where to, honey bunny?" Sasha said, giving a mock salute while her other hand rested firmly on the steering wheel. You giggled and thought about it. You called her on such a whim that you forgot to even plan anything.
"Uh how about Brain Freezes? I could really use a catch-up with Connie right about now." You suggested.
"That sounds like a great idea! Turns out you do have a brain up there." Sasha snickered.
"Oh good one, because you're the real genius here, clearly."
After a lot of lighthearted banter, you arrived at Connie's workplace. Sasha aggressively grabbed the door handle and slammed it open, causing the bell to fall off its perch and land on your face. "Oops." You grimaced and bent down to pick up the bell. You rang it in front of her face.
"Sasha! Y/n! My two favorite customers!" Connie jumped up and down on the other side of the counter. "How can I assist you ladies today?"
"I'll have the usual." You gave a half-hearted smile, head still impaired from the bell. Sasha had quite the habit of accidentally hurting you.
Sasha snatched the bell from your grasp and started ringing it. She announced her very long order that you could barely keep up with, but Connie was used to this kind of thing, especially with her.
You noticed one of his coworkers scowling at Sasha. You didn't like Floch, to say the least. He was always inviting himself to your parties but he was rude to all of your friends at the same time. He noticed your gaze and smirked.
He strutted over to where you stood, pretending to become very interested in toppings. "How are you, Y/n? It's been a while huh?" He leaned over your shoulder in a way that workers shouldn't with their customers. You made a hasty effort to slip away from his presence.
"It really hasn't. I came here last week. I come here every week and you say that every time." You usually tried to be nice to Floch, but today you didn't feel like being nice.
"Well, even a day without you feels like an eternity." He flirted horridly. You stared blankly at him until he awkwardly cleared his throat and traded spots with Connie at the register.
Connie took off his apron and handed you and Sasha your orders. "Sorry about him. That guy really can't take a hint even if it's right in front of his face." He shot Floch a venomous glare. "Luckily, you guys got here right as my shift ended! Wanna get out of here?" His previous anger seemed to dissipate in an instant.
"Yeah, I do! Where should we go?" Sasha beamed with her spoon still in her mouth.
"Can we just drive around? I've got something I wanna tell you guys." You played with your spoon in the ice cream, averting eye contact.
"Sure thing, Y/n. Let's go." Sasha and Connie said in unison.
Sasha let you drive her car since she was preoccupied with her mountain of ice cream. Connie didn't have a car, he failed his driver's test every time he took it. You'd think he'd learn most of the material by now. "Hey, Y/n?" He asked from the backseat.
"Yeah?" You nodded to him.
"Are you gonna finish that?" He said, referring to your cup of ice cream in the front cupholder. You sighed.
"Go ahead." He thanked you over and over as he leaned over and snatched it.
"So, Y/n? What was it you wanted to tell us?" Sasha wiped her hands on her pants and set the empty container in an extra cupholder.
You gripped the steering wheel harder then relaxed. You took a shaky breath in. "Mikasa is coming home tomorrow."
Connie started choking on your ice cream. "I know, I had the same reaction." You quipped.
"Mikasa..is...WHAT?" Connie managed between coughs.
"After all this time? It's been two years. Tomorrow? That's so sudden! Are you even ready to see her?" Sasha's mouth was gaping open. You leaned over and shut it for her.
"Yes, tomorrow. I still have to get the house ready. I couldn't even make it through her old room without calling you. Jean told us this morning. I don't think we should be worried about me being ready to see her. I think we should be more concerned about her and Jean." You informed. "But, then again, she told Jean about her return first. Plus he's picking her up tomorrow at the airport. So based on that, I think they're on better terms."
"You don't think they'll get back together, do you?" Connie said, his eyebrows furrowing.
You snorted. "Of course not. You know Jean is with Marco now, and he seems pretty happy with him. They've been together for two years now, probably longer if I'm being honest."
"Then what do you have to worry about?" Sasha asked, confused.
"Are you joking? I mean, what if she has found someone? What then? What if she quits the band forever? What if we argue? She dropped off the map two years ago. Completely. She stopped responding to me, to all of us. For two years I thought she lost her interest in everything and went to live a new life, with people better than me. And now she's coming back, out of the blue! It's too much." You stressed.
Connie and Sasha made quick eye contact. "Y/n, I think you're reading too far into it. I doubt anyone could lose interest in you. You're too cool! Let's look on the bright side, she's ready to come home and you finally get to see her again," Sasha said in an attempt to lift your spirits. You smiled graciously. You really were lucky to have a friend like her. "Right, Connie?" She gestured to Connie who looked very deep in thought.
"Didn't you and Mikasa go out in high school?" You almost crashed the car from the shock of the question.
"Briefly, yes. But we weren't 'going out' so to speak. We just, like, made out a couple of times." You could feel your face grow hot at the subject. You thought you were over your crush on Mikasa, but after hearing that she was coming home, the familiar feeling was coming back.
"You're going red, Y/n. I think it was more to you than just a make-out." Connie grinned while Sasha wiggled her eyebrows.
"You're totally in love with Mikasa!" Sasha sang.
"Shut up, you two. I don't wanna get into the details right now." You couldn't even try to hide your heated face since you were the one driving the vehicle.
"Not right now? So maybe somewhere down the line, you will?" Sasha raised her eyebrows and broke out into another infectious grin.
"Whatever, Sash. Enough about Mikasa and me. I really wanna hear about you and Niccolo." You gave her a similar grin while she slowly turned red.
"Nice one, Y/n!" Connie cheered.
"You idiots should just shut it!"

interview: WOOSOO returns as solo singer ‘Because of You’
Tumblr media
1.     How have you been, what are you occupied with lately?
I’ve wrapped up my group’s activities and now I’m quite busy preparing for my solo album.
Since it’s the first time I’m showing music in my own style, I wanted to try various things and challenge myself. I’ve been making songs that I always thought of while working as a producer. I also took a new challenge by composing and writing the OST of a Korean drama.
I’m also enjoying leisure life that I had not been able to enjoy before, such as café tour, famous restaurant tour, etc.
2.     It has been around 8 months since your last song release, how do you feel?
‘Because of You’ has a very different style from the previous song ‘The Rain’ (비가 내리면). Actually, ‘The Rain’ was made for MASC, so rather than saying it’s my solo work, it felt more like an extension of MASC. I think I’m making my first step as solo artist WOOSOO through ‘Because of You’.
I was very excited while preparing for this song and I’m very much looking forward to being able to show my music to the public with WOOSOO’s first solo.
3.     Please tell us about the song, ‘Because of You’. What do you want to share the most through this song?
‘Because of You’ is a song that blends the excitement of love with the R&B and soul feeling. It’s a song that expresses a heart fluttering feeling that something good will happen.
I think this song goes well with the upcoming spring.
Through this song, I wanted to appeal to the public that a singer called WOOSOO can do this type of music, and I wanted to share that my strengths and charms fit well with various music.
4.     Can you share interesting moments while shooting for the music video?
While filming for the music video, the producer and I were thinking “what kind of video would be good” and we decided that a pop-like live video would suit the most. The natural and friendly feeling.
The filming was held at an outdoor location, but since it was on the weekend, there’s so many people. Haha
A lot of people might have thought we were doing a performance, quite several people sat in front of us. They sat in groups, watched and listened, and they also took videos as if it was such a real performance.
In the middle of the video there are scenes where people pass by, but to pursue the naturalness feeling, there are many scenes where people pass by that we included without editing. I think it'll be fun to find those scenes. Hahaha
5.     What attracted you to music career and what made you decide to be a singer?
I like singing since I was young, and I like to stand in front of people and take the lead in doing something. When I was younger, I used to sing in school, on the streets, just everywhere I could. Since I couldn’t neglect my studies, I built my dreams by participating in singing contests and competitions and I was at my happiest when I sang in front of other people.
I’ve always had a lot of friends because I’ve always been sociable, but apart from that, I’ve always loved the eyes of the people watching the stage when I’m singing in the contests. So, I decided to become a singer.
6.     You have recently made your name as a composer and lyricist, what is the hardest challenge you face while writing a song?
I always have a lot of worries when it comes to work that requires creativity.
I’ve thoughts like, “I have to create something new”, “How do I express this through image directing”, “What would suit me well”.
I’ve started the music that I like through this solo, but I’m always concern about how much the public would like my music, and whether I can make music that many people can relate to with honest stories.
7.     What aspect of your music do you want people to focus on?
In addition to the image that I’ve shown as a group member, I’d like people to focus on how diverse and challenging the singer WOOSOO is as a solo artist. How talented I am in making good music that the public can feel happy when they listen to my songs, sympathize with sadness, and feel the joy and sorrow.
But this time, I metaphorically expressed the excitement of spring and the feelings of love.
8.     What impression do you think you give when you first meet someone?
When I was promoting as a team, just by looking at me without having any conversations, lots of people think I’m scary, difficult and edgy person. I think the reason was because since I hold the pillar in the position of a leader who takes care of many members, I thought more of the team rather of my own self. But once we started talking, they said I’m friendly and humorous.
Nowadays, I heard a lot of things like, “You’re friendlier than others” and “I want to befriend you”.
I tend to pursue natural things. For example, I prefer small shops in the neighborhood rather than large supermarkets.
That’s why I enjoy doing internet broadcast. There, I love to talk to people comfortably like a friend, not as an artist or entertainer.
9.     You have been actively communicating with your fans through social media and online live apps, what is the first thing that you would you like to do when you can meet with your fans face-to-face?
I want to say thank you and hug all the fans who waited for me. It was such a short time, but a lot of things happened over the years.
There are more people who waited for WOOSOO than I thought. It’ll be great to have a performance with my fans, but I’m thinking having a face-to-face talk with them over delicious meal would be great as well.
And of course, it’d be great to share my new challenges and music with all of you!
There are still many fans that I haven't met, I want to meet fans from various countries.
10.  What is your proudest and happiest moment as a singer?
My happiest moment as a singer is that there are fans who listen to my music.
“I gained strength through your music”, “I’m WOOSOO’s long-time fan”, “He’s a great singer”, when I hear those kinds of words, it really makes me very happy.
If there is at least one fan who loves my music and supports me, I’ll do my best until the end.
11.  What if you can achieve another dream other than music?
I have a lot of interest in fashion, so I thought about being a fashion designer, and I think it's good to have a job where I can deal with people because I like meeting people.
Recently, my dream is to open a small cafe and meet various people to communicate and create a fun space. (It's a secret that I'm recently learning to make bread~ haha)
12.  If you could snap your fingers and instantly make the world better, what would you do?
I think the most difficult thing right now is that many people around the world are suffering from health and psychological anxiety caused by the virus.
Many people are having a hard time, losing their jobs. Korean singers are having a hard time too, I want to get rid of the virus right away. I want to go back to the days when there was no Corona.
I'm praying and hoping to meet a lot of fans again.
13.  To the people who just got to know WOOSOO, what is the best way for them to get to know you better?
I upload photos and videos about my daily life on Instagram. YouTube is not up yet, but I'm going to start soon, to do covers or various music for many people. I'm making lots of efforts to meet many fans.
Usually, they can get to know me through live broadcast on the Internet. But I haven't been able to do it recently because I'm busy. But I'm going to communicate with many people through internet broadcasts again soon. (Of course, I like doing games broadcasts too. Haha)
For those who got to know me for the first time, to know which group I was part of, what kind of show I did, I hope you’ll watch all the shows available on YouTube!!
14.  Any projects that your fans can look forward to in the near future?
My plan now is to release a new album every month. Once the Corona is over and we can travel just like before, I want to let you listen to variety of songs. But in the meantime, I’m planning to release many songs.
15.  Lastly, can you say a few words to your fans?
Thank you so much for waiting for me for a long time. I’ll be back with better music in the future.

Effort’s Origin ─ Momotarou Onzai SSR
Tumblr media
Momotarou has been chosen to be the one to talk to a professional chocolatier during the event “Eden du Chocolat”; he’s done his researches, but somehow something seems to still be missing.
Tsubasa: Good morning. I received the sample magazine with the photo shoot you did the other day. I’ll hand them over.
Tatsuhiro: It’s with those who shot for the Valentine’s special edition.
Momotarou: Let me see... Oh, the photos have been taken well.
Hikaru: That shoot was reaaally fun~! I tasted chocolate fondue for the first time!
Kazuna: Fufu, even after the shoot was over, you ate it, Hikaru.
Hikaru: Well~ it was so good.
Momotarou: Indeed, I also tried hot chocolate for the first time and it was more delicious than I imagined.
Mikado: If that's the case, let's make it at home next time! It'll be my Valentine's day chocolate gift for you, Momotasu! ♪
Hikaru: Uwahh.....
Mikado: Hey, Hikarun, what's that? Hot chocolate is the perfect drink to relieve a tired body! Mikado: And, overseas, on Valentine's day you don’t exclusively gift people of the opposite sex!
Momotarou: Is that so?
Mikado: To those who take care of you every day; seems like there are many cases for giving out tokens of appreciation.
Hikaru: Eeeh! I see!
Mikado: Besides, it’s mainstream for men to give gifts to women.
Momotarou: I see. It might become a story for this upcoming event.
Tatsuhiro: You mean, “Eden du Chocolat”?
Momotarou: Yeah. Besides the live, there’ll be a talk.
Mikado: To be able to appear on the biggest chocolate event nowadays, I’m so jealous.
Kazuna: They’ll also let us sing the theme song of the event, so I'm psyched up.
Tsubasa: The lessons will start next week, so I guess you two will be busy, but I’ll be in your care.
Kazuna: Yeah. We’ll also be in your care, Sumisora-san.
Mikado: If necessary, I’ll bring you a snack.
Hikaru: Sounds nice~! Ah! Pizza, I beg you!
Tatsuhiro: Oi, you’re not going to play around.
Kazuna: Fufu, thank you everyone.
Momotarou: You’re a big help.
Tsubasa: Masunaga-san and Momo-kun feel enough motivated. I will also have to work hard!
___________
Momotarou: Leader, how about we take a break?
Kazuna: Yeah, let’s. It won’t be good if we push ourselves.
Yuuta: Ah! It’s Tsubasa-chan!
Tsubasa: Good work, everyone! Is your dance lesson for Eden du Chocolat going well?
Ryuji: It’s coming together. But rest assured it’ll be perfect by the time of the actual thing.
Tsubasa: I’ll look forward to that. This, I brought you some snack, help yourselves.
Yuuta: Thank youuuuuu~! Woah, pudding! Which one would you like, Ryu-chan?
Ryuji: Mmh, maybe I’ll go for the strawberry one.
Tsubasa: Sorry, Momo-kun. Can I have a bit of your time?
Momotarou: Yeah, sure.
Tsubasa: It’s been decided that Momo-kun will have a talk with one of the chocolatiers displaying at the “Eden du Chocolat”.
Kazuna: You mean, as a part of the promotion for “Eden du Chocolat“?
Tsubasa: Yes, it’s like that. I’d like to ask you to do it, Momo-kun, by all means.
Ryuji: Eeh, aren’t you a lucky one.
Momotarou: Yeah, thanks.
Yuuta: By chocolatier, you mean the person who makes chocolate?
Momotarou: That’s right. Pastry chefs specializing in chocolates.
Kazuna: It’s a profession that you usually don’t get involved with, after all, seems like we’ll be able to hear interesting stories.
Yuuta: I wonder if they’ll show us how to make delicious chocolate!
Ryuji: Yuuta, even if they show you, you won’t make it in the same way.
Yuuta: Ehh, really? Momo-chin’s cooking is quite good, so if he learns the recipe, I tought he’d make some for us~
Momotarou: Still, I want to try and use this opportunity to make delicious chocolate.
Kazuna: Do your best with the talk.
Momotarou: Yeah.
___________
Tsubasa: Sorry, the recording has been delayed. It’ll take about 30 minutes to start.
Momotarou: Understood.
Mikado: It’s okay, we don’t have much to do after this.
Tsubasa: Thank you.
Momotarou: ....
Tsubasa: It feels like Momo-kun is especially looking at his phone today. Tsubasa: What is it that you’re looking at so eagerly?
Momotarou: An interview article about the chocolatier we’re going to talk to.
Mikado: Momotasu recently has been looking into everything about this chocolatier.
Tsubasa: Is that so?
Momotarou: I wanted to know about the other party before the interview.
Mikado: An idol and a chocolatier... At first glance, there's absolutely no contact point.
Momotarou: Yeah. I roughly have a grasp on his interview articles and background, so what’s left is... Momotarou: ....
Tsubasa: What is it?
Momotarou: Tsubasa, once the recording is over, can we stop by somewhere?
Tsubasa: Yes. hat's absolutely fine...
Mikado: All things considered, Momotasu is very eager in his studies.
Tsubasa: That’s true. I had no idea that he would go all the way to the shop of that chocolatier.
Momotarou: I wanted to eat what he made before the talk.
Mikado: As expected from you, Momotasu! I’ll also have to take you as an example.
Tsubasa: Fufu, I think you two are already working hard enough. ... Ah, the shop we were talking about, it’s in this in this area.
Mikado: Oh, you can see a great queue over there.
Momotaru: That’s the shop of a chocolatier for you.
Mikado: Heavens! This chocolatier seems to be more popular than we thought.
Tsubasa: Yes. With a crowd like that, it might be better to refrain from buying now.
Momotarou: But......
Mikado: If they find us, we’ll get into trouble and it may cause inconvenience to the shop.
Momotarou: Right....
Tsubasa: Then, let’s go back to the car.
Momotarou: ... Tsubasa, wait a moment. Momotarou: ....
Tsubasa: What’s up with Momo-kun watching the people lined up in the shop...
Momotarou: ... I see.
Mikado: Something’s up?
Momotarou: No... I'm sorry to have kept you both.
Tsubasa: No, it’s okay. Tsubasa: Don’t tell me, has he understood something?
___________
Tsubasa: The talk with the chocolatier is proceeding in a nice atmosphere. Tsubasa: A well prepared outcome.
Momotarou: So, why did you aim to be a chocolatier?
Chocolatier: Let’s see... I felt the charm of chocolate that makes people smile with just one drop. Chocolatier: Chocolate is the ensemble of all the skills and sense of taste of a craftsman. Chocolatier: It took me quite a while to make one I could be satisfied of.
Momotarou: I believe there were things you couldn’t come up with, but was there something that made you keep going after repeated trials and errors?
Chocolatier: There was. When making it, I only thought how much I wanted to make those who’d eat it smile. Chocolatier: For that reason I do my best!
Momotarou: I see. Momotarou: Actually, I went to the shop the other day. I couldn’t buy anything because of the big line. Momotarou: Everyone was lining up happily. I understand quite well how your chocolate grabbed your customers' hearts.
Chocolatier: I am quite embarrased.
Momotarou: Me too, as an idol, struggle a lot. Momotarou: But, if I think about my fans’ smiles before me, my strength goes up. I can understand that feeling well.
Chocolatier: After all, there is nothing better than that. Let's make "Eden du Chocolat” successful together!
Momotarou: Yes....! It was nice to talk with you today.
Tsubasa: I see. Momo-kun was watching the customers’ expressions that time.
___________
Tsubasa: It was totally a nice talk!
Momotarou: Yeah, I was able to hear an interesting story.
Tsubasa: It seemed pleasing that the chocolatier was happy to talk to you Momo-kun. Tsubasa: Surely, it was because Momo-kun had prepared well in advance.
Momotarou: I’m glad that what I looked up was useful. Momotarou: Besides, I’m happy he felt the same way about wanting to make someone smile. Momotarou: Even though they are different professions, there are things in common as well.
Tsubasa: That’s true.
Momotarou: ... I’m glad I gave this talk a try. I feel that my desire to make “Eden du Chocolat” succeed became even stronger.
Tsubasa: I’m glad to hear that. I’ll also support you to the fullest!
Momotarou: Yes, please. Momotarou: Speaking of which, Mika said that on Valentine’s day men give gifts to girls, right?
Tsubasa: Apparently, that’s common overseas.
Momotarou: I can't give chocolate to those who come to "Eden du Chocolat”, but... Momotarou: I want to deliver a performance that makes those who see the stage smile. Momotarou: Because there are people watching us, we can stand on the stage. Momotarou: It’s pretty obvious, but it made me think about it again.
Tsubasa: That's very lovely.
Momotarou: And, I’ll make you smile as well, Tsubasa.
Tsubasa: Eh-?
Momotarou: You’re always the closest person to believe in me. You’re important to me.
Tsubasa: Momo-kun...
Momotarou: I’ll feel calm if Tsubasa greets me with a smile after the stage is over. Momotarou: You made me think that there’s no mistake in what I’ve been doing.
Tsubasa: Thank you. It means a lot to me to hear that from you.
Momotarou: The day of the stage, watch closely.
Tsubasa: Will do!
