I'd really want to know how the conversation that led up to the Einheri being sent to tell Loki went. I'm sure we all remember this screenshot:

which has been circulating on both Tumblr and Pinterest for years to the point of it being considered canon. However, I'm not sure whether that's the case. Even with no url, I managed to find the original post and my question is: do we know whether it's an actual deleted scene that the OP had taken from the TDW script (which doesn't seem to have been released officially) or their own post?
With all of that aside, I'm so sad about Loki not having been allowed to attend his mother's funeral. I'm convinced that was more of an ego issue for Odin rather than a security one from Asgard's pov.
I'll be honest, and a lot of you will hate me for this, but I have avoided the subject of that funeral because I created this adjusted version of TDW in my head back in like 2014 (from which then came the extensive sequel I wrote last/this year) in which Frigga did survive (I promise it makes sense in context of the entire thing) so as strange as that sounds, the canon is like an au for me, and those of you who know me know I don't do well with aus (I suppose that's the autism, who even knows at this point). (side note- this is a fun fact okay? I am not pushing anything on anyone, hide your blades. Thank you.) Diverging from my own version for the sake of this post,
I can't even imagine how he must've felt. It's an incredibly sad scene and the thought of his mother, who was basically his last link to the outsite world, away from his cell, must've been devastating. Not only was he told by a random Einheri (I liked that he took off his helmet...at least), but he was denied his, and I will say right, because she was his mother, to say goodbye. I know Frigga was by no means perfect but it's more than clear she mattered to him. Oh yeah and then Thor shows up (after a year and a half) and refuses to answer one question. Just the one.
"We were raised together, we played together, we fought together. Do you remember none of that?"
Well Thor, do you remember none of that? Because imagine knowing your brother, whom you've known all his life (1000+years), knowing what your mother meant to him and then refusing to answer one question about her death. And look, I get that he was angry and frustrated, and no I do not believe he really stopped thinking of Loki as his family, but how cruel must you be...
Anyways, this is a tangent, what are your thoughts on the screenshot? Oh and if somebody, would miraculously stumble upon the actual script, I am begging you to let me know.
edit- yup I was right
