I was recently reminded about that time Rihana was at the 2014 World Cup repping Brazil And then I remembered that one picture Neymar and Rihanna took together too. So I started thinking 🤭
Imagine the world we would be living in if Neymar and Rihana were a thing. I like to believe the universe didn’t allow it because it would just be too powerful for us all.
#BUT LIKE FR THO RIHANA??? A WAG???#Like imagine her on tour or something and while doing a show in Brazil she wears his jersey#they would be unstoppable fr#I know Neymar would not be able to shut tf up about her. He’d be posting her on his story every damn day#can you blame him tho???#what would their ship name be???#Neyriri#Neyana#Rihmar#I like Neyana#neymarjr#Neymar

this is probably not even surprising but i can't pick a favorite between my parents giam and my children neyana. i love them both for so many different reasons??? seeing giam already settled with children and raising carter, and now the twins, is something kind of rare in writing. most things are about the beginning of the relationship, which i love as well, but it's nice to see the after. and neyana??? i mean, come on. i love them and frito and their love for each other and you for writing them
RJ!!!
I love that Georgia and Liam have become everyone’s parents. Meanwhile, they’re my babies, which makes me everyone’s grandma? Hah. Anyway.
I know I’ve talked at length with Fran about how much I like writing Liam and Gee because of the fact that they are in an established relationship. The place where you find the two of them, in fanfic, often comes in small glimpses after the pairing FINALLY gets together. But when I wrote At the Stroke of Midnight and plopped right down into this relationship in which Liam and Gee were six months into parenthood and years into marriage and yet I still found myself compelled to share their story, and then some, I knew they were special. I love that there are facets to their relationship - yes, they’re parents, and their children take priority, but there’s still so much fun and romance in their relationship and I adore bringing that to light.
As for Neyana, they were a lovely summer surprise born from listening to Jon B at length and I have absolutely no regrets. I honestly fooled myself into thinking they would be a one-time thing (like I also did with Giam), but then I kept thinking about their history as a couple and also separate and got so wrapped up in all of the little details that I couldn’t let them go (like lovely Fritito, and then Elián? Y’all haven’t even met him but I love him). It was so much fun to spend my summer writing about them and I can’t believe how quickly people latched on to them, but I’m very glad that they (and you) did.
Both of these pairings are in established relationships but I love that they’re in different places. Liam and Georgia are very happily married and settled in their careers and now parents to three children. Niall and Teyana are young and in love and chasing dreams and enjoying just being together. Marriage is in their forethought but they’re in no hurry to get there just yet. I like the contrast of dynamics.
I love YOU for reading about all of my characters and for talking about writing with me and being one of the best cheerleaders on the planet. 💖
