one shortcut that i take when i stop being able to process words is i just rely on common phrases that are familiar and seem to fit the conversation, like "oh, interesting", or "how does that work?", or "makes sense", or "good to know" (recently it's been "many such cases", which. i need to stop with that one).

the trouble is, sometimes i get them mixed up and say one that's not appropriate to the context, and then the other person looks at me like i'm a madman. many such cases.

AS FOR THE TIPS HMMMMMMM well first things first . don't be ashamed to write for yourself. be indulgent. write what YOU like and what YOU want. the readers will follow,, i've always felt that the more into whatever i'm writing i am, the more others seem to love it as well.

play around with your own writing style. there really are NO rules here. you can do literally whatever you want, however you want. it's very easy to forget that, i do that too sometimes, but when you remember again it's like the sun shines brighter and the birds will sing.. better idk it's a very very good feeling when you know that you have all of the control and NOBODY can tell you otherwise.

theen it's important to learn how to use tags. this is how the people will find your works!!!!!!!!!!!! but please do be mindful of using the RIGHT ones. if you write smut, tag it as smut. if you write fluff, tag it as fluff. it's the same for x reader tags, please only use the tags for the person/people you are writing for, nobody likes to see fics of other characters when they're trying to find something of their own fave.

when it comes to interactions, it can be hard to get traction at first. that is not on you, that is sadly just how.. things seem to be nowdays. likes come a bit more easily while reblogs and comments are harder to get, but please please don't let that discourage you.

alsoooo!!!!!!!!!! it's good to make mutuals!!!!! reblog fics and leave tags on them, reblog art and leave tags on them - i think the more active you are when it comes to stuff like that, others are a bit more quick to follow suit!!!!!!!!!!! and this is how you'll be able to make new friends too so it's a double win!!!!!!!!!!!!

second, the pixelprincess!au is pretty simple and now that you've asked i kinda wish it was something deeper/more complex HAHAH. it's quite literally just "pixel" to represent kinich, and "princess" to represent... the princess. that's really all there is to it, it's not super clever or anything LOL though i wish it was!!!
