#I should be reading the Greek Alexander romance#hot take: I hate medievalism#not really though I just hate this specific medievalism course#seriously how many times can we reread the same Alexander the Great story with minuscule details changed#I understand its significance but at the same time I would rather be doing anything else#English lit to 1500 my ass the course title was SO misleading#I am so bitter#can you tell I’m bitter#I know I’m an English major but reading 50+ pages of medieval literature makes me want to hop on Minecraft and kill every horse I see#I blame Joel for that internal urge#thanks Joel#AHHHHHH#I exaggerated I haven’t stared at this for 10 minutes but I have the capacity to stare at it for 10 minutes and that’s what matters.
