Summary:

When Makoto canted his head back to better see his expression after another failure and Kenji tilted with him to quickly press a kiss to his lips, it didn’t register at all. He simply readjusted to settle back against him once he saw he wasn’t getting angry at the game and kept watching him play, gently returning the crushing hug Kenji gave him when he finally did win, saying he couldn’t have done it without Makoto there to help him focus.

It was only now, late at night tucked away in his own bed – his brain doing nothing but looping through the day’s events – that he actually realized what they’d done.
