Fun fact, way before Dragons rising was an idea, I had a little theory/AU thingie, where the ninja got sent to another realm, where time passed differently. (How funny, it was way before SotFS...) So basically these kids formed a replacement ninja team to fight the evils treathening ninjago, discovering they themselves are elemental masters. And that's been in my brain, slowly adding all the new kiddos to it. Might make some art, and a post about that too, because I would love to draw them.

Here's my spitballing on these dummies and their designs.

The Darkleys kids!

The little shits. They would be the ones to have kidnapping as their first resolve.

- I kinda didn't know Sally existed, but I liked all the art, so she does now. Also, she loves pink, I love pink, we all love pink

- Brad is definitely the muscle of the group, with a big heart, but not the greatest mind. Also, he has a babyface, that's very hard to make look evil.

- His design kinda grew on me with time, but it still feels a bit lacking...

- There's this theory that Gene is Skylor's brother, and Chen's son, that I kinda absorbed into my brain and ran with it so yeah.

-Also, the hand thingie is not a glove, it helps hold his hand together after a nasty injury :)

- The bowlcut was uniform at Darkleys, but Gene was such a nightmare they just gave up with him.

- They have matching pins and earpieces. Cause of course they do. Also, dumbo boots uniform.

The Paperkids!

Antonia and Nelson are a given, and I just kinda added Unagami on there, since he waved at them once. Also, I think it would be cute if they were friends.

- I know he doesn't anymore, canonically, but I like to think he still wears his purple gi under the jumper. Who knows when someone will need the purple ninja?

- He has a scar from the injury he had when he met with the ninja. Also, am I the only one who tought something much worse was going on than a broken leg? Obviously a kid show can't have a terminally ill kid, but fsm that's still how I remembered it.

- Antonia! I loved drawing her hair. Also kinda like her badass big sis vibes.

- She has her hands out to make sure the two kids, but mainly Nelson, don't go missing somehow (happens more often than you think)

- Even if he can shapeshift, I like to tjink Unagami keeps his line-marks in whatever forms, since it's apart of his skin. He can hide them, but it takes effort, so he just doesn't bother.

- He can change his form generally, but you could still tell it's him by the lines, eyes, and hair

- He has a little nick in his eyebrow, and so does (did i guess) Jay. I just think that's a cute detail

The Forgotten ones...

Just called that cause I had to add them on a separate canvas after forgetting them. I forgot Skales Jr, shame on me, I tought Jake and Nelson were one character, and I was still debating Echo. But here they are!

- It was surprisingly not that hard to draw him, even tho I was very scared

- Since he has white on him, I was trying (and failing miserably) to replicate those partially albino reptiles. Also added some pink scales, since he is also Selma's son, who's pink.

- I don't know to this day why Echo was introduced only to be left behind.... Nevertheless he's a sweetheart

- I guess if you count Mr.E, but then he would be dead... Unless the kids fix him (lightbulb moment)

- Also, ahy is his head weirdly tiny? How did that happen?

- Jake. Goddamnit, how were you the hardest to draw? Somehow I couldn't get the head right...

- The giant pants is an idea that lived in my head. I like yo think he would be able to fix ancient artifacts with hairties, ductape, and sheer force of will.

- He might have a bowlcut, but cmon, are you telling me he wouldn't at least try to replicate whatever the hell Kai's hair was in the beginning?

I'm just gonna compare our headcanons one by one because they're so similar in many ways, but then you come in like, "BAM! Fresh take be upon ye! \o/"

(Keep in mind all of these are for the WIP series about his life with EPIC: The Musical elements sprinkled in for vibes ^-^)

He is 100% a pretty boy. There are a few that I've found in Homer's Iliad and Odyssey that Homer won't shut up about, and Ody is one of the main ones (as well as Telemachus; he is basically a carbon copy of his dad; it only makes sense). I can totally see Odysseus looking more androgynous and using it to his advantage. After all, playing with people's higher thoughts and base instincts is his specialty. It's kind of what he's known for lmao. I'd say it's a Hermes descendant thing. Plus, his grandpa on his mom's side was said to be the greatest thief of the age and a shapeshifter. But there's one more thing I'd like to add: Apparently, Autolycus was such a good wrestler he helped Heracles improve his wrestling skills. And since Heracles was quite the negotiator/trickster in some of his adventures, I'd say Autolycus taught him more than wrestling. Do with that what you will. Paris being more fem pretty and Menelaus being more "masc" pretty is definitely something I can get behind (primarily because it's backed up in the text), but don't forget Agamemnon was a Homer Pretty Boytm (I don't like him either, but it's true) so he might look similar to Menelaus in specific ways (they were brothers after all). It's so funny when you see people talk about Odysseus because you have to eventually ask yourself, "Who didn't have a crush on Odysseus?" And the answer is so little you could count the number on one hand.

The biting-chapped lips thing is such a mood. He may be married to Water Wife(tm) and always remembers to hydrate her, but this AuDHD boy can never remember to properly hydrate himself 😭! I also have an added headcanon: He bites his nails/the skin around his nails. Especially when he's stressed. My thoughts take this further and headcanon that his mother suggested he try woodworking to break the bad habit (because many infections were fatal for children back then, and this habit opens you up to all kinds of nasty things that can still be deadly even today). It didn't quite work, but it gave him something better to do. He learned a large chunk of his skills while recovering from the Boar Incident(tm).

In my head, it's clear that Odysseus is Laertes' son (it makes the most sense timeline-wise). But that doesn't mean there isn't a rumor.

In my WIP, the whispers would start after Anticlea returned from visiting her family before Sisyphus was taken to the Underworld for the final time. She then learns that she's pregnant with her first child (women learned they were expecting much further along than today), and rumors started to fly since Ephyra was on the way to Parnassus. Word spread that Anticlea was crying when she got there (she wasn't crying because she was attacked; she was crying because she was overwhelmed with emotion at seeing her family again). Rumors got out of hand, and more rumors flew that Laertes paid Sisyphus to raise the baby in Ithaca as Laertes' heir. Of course, none of these rumors are true, but they quiet with time. Odysseus and Ctimene take after both of their parents: Odysseus takes after Anticlea with a few Laertes-isms, and Ctimene takes after Laertes with a few Anticlea-isms. They are both menaces, though. The Hermes genes are nowhere near deluded enough to prevent their crooked, up-to-no-good smiles, curly hair, and the splash of youthful freckles across their noses. On the topic of noses, Ody's is sharper, but Cti has an adorable button nose (perfect for Eurylochus kisses). <3

For both, of course, and I'm not even done with Penelope never will be There's some I probably have mentioned before but bleh :D I'll put it out anyways.

Odysseus is a "pretty boy" and he's able to balance "masculine" and "feminine" beauty perfectly and he knows it and uses it. (When you're aspec, you tend to "study" what makes people "pretty". To understand it as, "What's the big deal?". That's what he does) I knew someone in theatre who when playing different characters for acting, the more "sweet and goofy" one (Seymour, Little Shop of Horrors) and the "rugged, handsome" one (Prince from Into the Woods) and he looked like different people and realized it was because he was able to really shift his jaw around and also just really expressive and Odysseus USES this. ALL the time. Paris is a more feminine pretty boy while Menelaus is a more masculine pretty boy but Odysseus is a perfect in-between. (Paris and Menelaus are definitely prettier than him in a way but yeah >:D Homer doesn't stfu about Odysseus and he had multiple people wanting him. When he didn't want anyone but Penelope)

What "mars" his beauty is that Odysseus bites at his lips a lot. Usually chapped and ripped up.

I kind of plan for it to be kind of unknown whether Sisyphus or Laertes is his dad. He REALLY takes after his mom in so many ways. He's a lil jealous of Ctimene as while both take after Mom, she has Dad's nose and eye color. It's something that means a lot to him that his dad loves him regardless. And it REALLY bothers him when people try and bring up Sisyphus being his dad. It makes him sincerely happy seeing Tyndarius loving all his kids even though there's a CLEAR difference on who's whose. (Omfg imagine if he could talk to his mom about Calypso and Circe as what she went through with Sisyphus 😭Maybe Penelope trying to get advice from Laertes!!!)

He actually couldn't really grow a beard until after the war for whatever reason :D he was just kind of pretty smooth-shaven (not shaven but just no beard til later). Penelope teases him about it and when she does he rubs his face against hers.

He tries to say his favorite poems/epics/myths are the ones of Heracles but it's actually Psyche's myth. Not giving up because you're so devoted? That you want to see your person/people again?? RINGING ANY BELLS. (Also Baucis and Philemon, because Xenia is very important to him and to grow old with his love to then get turned into olive trees together?? That's his LIFE GOAL.)

I really love the thought of him and Eumeaus being super close. Like he actually wasn't that close to Polites and Eurylochus until mid-teens but Eumeaus was raised beside him and Ctimene.

Demisexual/demiromantic: Like he didn't really get it until Penelope, at least not fully. And then he's just hit by a truck. They were in the garden when they first met (no details yet! But she just knocks him on his ass) and there were beehives and beekeepers around and he turns so red and is so gobsmacked that Penelope freaked out thinking he was stung by a bee and was dying. (being Naiad she's dealt with this before)

Mentioned before, but the Boar scar caused fertility issues. He's...very ripped up. He blames his asexuality/demisexuality on it and it's a surprise that he can run so well (Hermes' descendant and Athena saved him...just not "all of him".) Penelope had some fertility issues too (she has a lot of siblings so she's really sad about it) but he always took the blame and always made a point of "I won't take a concubine. I don't want one and I'm the reason why we can't have children. It wouldn't change anything." Though his leg does get stiffer in joints and the skin is tight when he's older. Water Wife™ helps with that. :D

Since it took a while before they had Telemachus, he had... a lot of toys made in preparation even though it took awhile. Crib too but wasn't used for a while. Telemachus luckily has many keepsakes and gifts from his dad :') and yes he carried them everywhere. (There was a branch off their "nest" that Telemachus messed around on too much when he was around 8 and it broke :'). When Odysseus comes back, Telemachus is ashamed and says sorry and Odysseus is just happy he wasn't hurt. (OUCHIE)

He actually had the Trojan horse idea for YEARS (like year 5) but everyone thought it was "dishonorable" and he was SO MAD. (also yeah, he remembered all the toys he made his son and that's how he got the idea) It is a "TOLD YOU SO!" moment when they win.

One thing I love about him is that he really is "all or nothing" in many ways. or a "0 to 100 very quickly". He does NOT let even minor insults slide. He goes all out and over the top for the people he loves and the people he hates. like, he DOES care. He loves as much as he hates. Like he's an asshole but there's always a reason (honestly I think he does have his rules. and they ARE consistent I think. probably will write an essay on it soon)

Honestly, I know a lot of people think "oh familiar stranger" when they get back and yeah, they look so different but they still think the same in many ways. Homer ends with them still being like-minded. I think Penelope and Odysseus had the feeling of "feels like there was almost no years of separation" as they can be in-sync and "are like they were before". They're older, wiser, but he still does the funny voice that makes her laugh. She's still ticklish on her neck. So much is the same. It'll be fun to learn what's different.

Except the PTSD.

And Odysseus is basically just trying to force himself to be "normal". He's bottling things up but not pushing away. Some war stuff he's shared as there were games and some fun stories (also not as recent) But he doesn't share Circe or Calypso with Penelope at first. And he definitely doesn't want Telemachus to know. But he's not pushing away. If anything he wants them even closer than ever. And doesn't really like them being away from him.

He usually has to be the one to make "first contact" or "first touch" (don't go up behind him...ever) but he is very physically affectionate so...kind of works.

Though it saddens Penelope, as this is all Telemachus knew, he's not too affected. As to him, Odysseus is already so loving and wonderful to him and so he just sees his moments of war flashbacks and fear and his violent outbursts against others are just... Dad. He knows it's strange but no one's perfect. He's fine most of the time otherwise. He kisses his and his mother's cheeks and is trying to learn pottery from him. But Penelope knows this is not normal. Plus he's sharing some things with her that he would rather keep hidden from Telemachus forever.

Before she could always just hold him and basically do whatever and he melts. She now needs to go slow and always give some sort of warning. He usually meets her halfway, so that helps. Something he did before but...There is so much lost and that needs time.

Slowly reaching her hand out to his face? He grabs it and leans into it. She didn't need to go slow before. She opens her arms? He flops into it. Before, she could've grabbed his hand and basically pulled him into her.

He always has to be in control now and he's mad at himself for it.

"That's your son. Why did your son's joyful shouts make you think of the screams of the young men in war. Your son is fine. There's no war here. You made sure of that. That's your wife. Your wife that you've longed for 20 fucking years and you still wake up weeping and think you're with the goddesses again. Hold her. Let her hold you. Stop crying. Let her hold you. That's what you want."

He's like a cat who digs their claws into you to keep you to them. He's angry at himself for getting scared/upset and...in a way HAS to let it be known that even though he's a mess, he NEEDS them. Always has.

He can't be the little spoon anymore. He can't have her sleep/rest on top of him anymore. He can lay on her and be the big spoon but as he was basically a "doll" for Calypso and manipulated and tricked by Circe, there are certain things he can't have done to him. If he gets in his funks, he sometimes has to have it where he holds her and she's completely still before he gives her the go-ahead to hold/touch him in return. Sometimes he has to quiz her questions only she would know. And then he just cries. He won't talk about it for a while. :')

As he and Laertes shared some of the same "adventures" with the same beings, they bond over that :D Also, with his older cousin Jason? "I don't like him. >:( He always would fuck up my hair by messing with it."

In their Early marriage, they tried each other's "hobbies". Aka Odysseus tried weaving and Penelope tried woodcarving. Two of their most prized possessions is a fucking ugly wooden duck and a little blanket that is uneven and has some holes in it. When he doesn't see his blanket next to her duck when he returns, he's worried and a bit sad but then Penelope reveals that she sleeps with it :') the dye is faded and some parts are clearly rewoven so it won't fall apart.

Presentation of the Forgotten Night (sequel to the text in the introduction)

Where do I start? When I talked about the Goddess I did not imply that God, as you know him, doesn’t exist. He is real, and a real jerk if I’m honest. Okay let’s start with the Goddess.

The Mother Goddess is the oldest god in the universe. She did not create the world nor has she created human life. In fact no one knows who came first, humans or gods. Gods are magical beings with immense power who can interact white the human world, even though most of them prefer to keep contact to a minimum to be honest. Gods are not always immortal. The only way for a god to be immortal is to be believed in, that’s why some of us interact with your world. The strength of a god grows with the strength of the faith believers have in him.

So, back at the Mother Goddess, she is the very first god and therefore she is the mother of all gods. Of course she did not give birth to all of the gods, but to a fair amount of them are her children. If she’s not a god’s mother she surely is somewhere in that person’s lineage. Also, even though she did not create human life as it is she cares deeply for this race and all of the races that were created afterwards. She sees herself as the mother of all life and the greatest gift she gives to all of her children is the gift of free will. She will never step in directly in the human world to change the way things are going. She was also very clear that should any of us do such a thing we will pay dearly. Things were not always like that, there was a time where we used to live amongst men.

Here comes an interesting part of the story, you know those books you read about magical creatures and stuff? Lots of them exist, thanks to the gods. When humans were going through hard times they would come to us, seeking help and power. That’s actually how most gods found their believers. Let’s say your village is ravaged by a terrible plague that kills everyone you love. You could go to a god and ask him or her (or whatever to be honest sometimes you just can’t know, there are also those of us who enjoy changing their body so it’s even harder to tell) to help you and your village by granting you guys eternal life, and he might do just that. But the universe has his way, so whatever wish may be granted has to come with the same amount of benefits and inconvenience. So, in that case, the village was saved and his people could no longer die of illness or old age, but to stay alive they now needed to drink another's essence of life: blood. In the process they also lost their ability to bear children and the illness they had never really got cured so they can barely support the sunlight. No need to ask, I am indeed talking about my very own children, the vampires. You see, even gods don’t know exactly what will happen when we grant a wish and that’s how many breeds of what you may call supernaturals were created: vampires, faes, witches, shapeshifters… There are also half breeds, like demi-gods, demi-faes and half witches. When it comes to shapeshifter there are no half breeds, you either are one or you are not. If you're of a mixed heritage it's a gamble and the gene can be passed for 3 or 4 generations without manifesting before going extinct. Let’s just say it led to some very interesting stories, but they are not my stories to tell so I shall say no more. Oh and by the way not all the wishes led to new species and stuff, some just made a man change everything he touched to gold or cut the ocean in two (the last one was a one time deal).

So, yes we used to live with humans and supernaturals and it was great. Unfortunately all good things come to an end and so what had to happen happened… Someone fucked up pretty badly and that someone is your so-called God. Everything was fine until the Mother Goddess had a fight with him, by the way he is one of her first sons. No one really knows what the fight was about, She won’t talk about it and no one really wants to ask Him.

Whatever happened it pissed him off really bad and he decided to make her pay by taking away what she loved most, her children. Since he could not hurt the other gods, the only way to kill a god is for him to be totally forgotten and to become a mortal god so you kill him (which is still very hard to do), he decided to harm her other childrens, the mortal one. He could have gone on a rampage and killed a couple thousands of them but he felt it would not be enough so he planned something else, something that would change history forever. He presented himself to different people using different names, Yahweh (who became Elohim), Allah and God. He interacted with humans and he created different religions in an attempt to eradicate every other belief to harm gods as well. When he realised that it was not enough and that he could not tarnish his mother's name that way he pushed his followers to hate each other and to go to war against each other.

He knew that, since her mother would never take away the free will she gave to her children, she could only watch her children get slaughtered and cry. What he did not expect is the fact that she could punish him, and that she did. Of course she could not strip him from his title and she would not force humans to forget him but she did something worse. She took his ability to have children and she forbade him from ever walking in the human world again. When she pronounced his sentence she reached the spirit of every living god, sharing her words and her pain to all who could hear:

« Proditor, my beloved son, it is with great pain that I cast this punishment upon you today. For the lives you’ve taken and that were not yours to take you shall amend by no longer being able to bring life into this world yourself. For the pain you caused in the living world you shall never know the joy of walking these soils again. For the pain you caused me you shall now be yours to feel. This is my will so mote it be»

Since that day most of us stopped going in the mortal world and became very careful of the wish we granted. Without us being there, humans slowly stopped believing and only those who were touched by the gods remembered us and our stories. These people call themselves supernaturals, even though humans usually call them demons, and they live hidden in the shadow of the world you just joined: the forgotten night.

Hyun Ryu // Zen : MC with the power to see the future/precognition

The moment you hear about Zen’s prophetic dreams, you decide to tell him you’re not unfamiliar with the supernatural, either. Especially when it comes to seeing the future, as it is something you’ve learned to do at will, just by focusing on a person’s energy.

The problem is, when it comes to his own supernatural gifts, undeveloped, but still powerful, he’s not quite convinced yet that his is a supernatural gift and not a spoopy coincidence.

Despite this, he’s quick to embrace this part of you.

Not just that. By accepting your extraordinary side, he starts accepting his as well. The prophetic dreams become something he’s proud of, a gift and a responsibility he’s more than willing to take. It’s always better when there’s someone out there who truly understands you and Zen’s incredibly grateful this someone for him is you.

Loves the fact that you both have pretty similar supernatural powers. In his mind, this is yet another proof that you two were meant to be together.

If you decide to share your secret with the other RFA members, Zen will often clog the chat with long paragraphs with boasts about how you two are a match made in heaven. Literally. He’s just that happy.

“Hey, babe. You think my ability to heal up quickly has something to do with the supernatural?” Super excited to be a part of this magical world, all because you’re there with him, too.

Jumin : MC with telekinesis

If there’s anything that fascinates Jumin more than Elizabeth’s kitty antics and the cute faces you make without realizing it, it’s the supernatural.

So once you gather the courage to tell him you’ve been blessed with an extraordinary gift, he’s beside himself with pure excitement.

If you thought he loved just watching you go around and do your everyday chores, wait until the moment he observes with childlike glee and curiosity every movement you make while practicing telekinesis. The extra attention might be embarrassing at first, but it’s all because he loves you too much and wants to be a part of your life, be it mundane or extraordinary.

Absolutely adores it when you use telekinesis to pass him the salt at dinner or to do something else that is a cute and small domestic gesture.

Feels immense happiness and pride that the woman he loves has such powers, but will never boast about it. In fact, he’ll keep quiet about it, afraid that bad people might come after you if word of your supernatural abilities got out. 

Because of this, he never takes pictures of you while you’re using your powers, even though he really wants to. Rest assured, though. If someone hacked his phone and saw them, he’s willing to live with you on a distant island until things calm down and people forget about what they’ve seen.

You can’t find it in yourself to tell him that doesn’t matter. Even if he did take such pictures and they were leaked online, all people would see would be a blur of colors barely resembling a person. But the dork is too cute trying to protect you, so playing along benefits all.

707 // Luciel Choi // Saeyoung Choi : MC who is a shapeshifter

When you shapeshift into Elly, then back to your normal form, Saeyoung’s first reaction is to drop the Phd Pepper he’s holding, his lips slowly parting as he tries to comprehend what just happened.

Shocked. Happy and super curious, but shocked. And once his mind slows down, he feels worry seeping into his bones.

Because of his job as an agent and his crappy childhood, Saeyoung is well aware of the atrocities people are capable of. If someone found out about what you can do, or even worse, if someone from the agency found out about you, you’d be sentenced to a life of experiments on your body that would leave you scarred, both physically and mentally.

Falls on his knees, forehead on the floor as he begs you to never ever use your powers again.

Takes a lot of time for you to convince him that you’ve managed to survive on your own so far, so going forward, especially when you have people like him to protect, love, and support you, shouldn’t be a problem.

Still, he makes you promise you’d be extra careful.

On very rare occasions, he asks you to partially shapeshift into a cat - just the ears. There’s something about playing with your kitty ears that calms him down immensely. If he doesn’t drift off to sleep snuggled close to you, he’ll often pretend he’s a cat, too.

“Sevenny can be a cute kitty, too, nyan ~ See, nyan? ~ Seven-nyan deserves a good belly rub, nyan ~”

Ray // Unknown // Saeran : MC who can understand animals’ emotions and control their behavior/animal empathy and manipulation

Saeran’s always known you are special.

It’s in the way you smile, the way you tuck your hair behind your ear, and the way you carry yourself. He’s known this all along. This supernatural gift you possess, it’s just another layer of uniqueness that sets you apart from everyone else.

He’s in awe every time he wakes up to find you sitting on the front porch, surrounded by many and different animals that seem to be as smitten with you as he is.

“I guess I’m gonna marry a princess. And not just any princess - my future wife is a Disney princess.”

Likes to tease you about it in the most caring way possible. Often calls you “Snow White”, “Belle”, or simply “my princess”. Makes you wonder if he realizes just how incredibly adorable he is by doing that.

Doesn’t mind getting a pet, or two, or maybe even five. With your supernatural gift, it’s inevitable.

Your home is bound to become a safe place for strays, so that at least saves you time you’d otherwise spend looking for a pet that has a higher chance of finding a forever home anyway. Strays are something else.

He might not be able to communicate or understand animals as much as you do, but Saeran loves them nonetheless. It’s his small and unconventional family, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Vanderwood : MC who can teleport to any place in the world she’s seen before, even if just on a picture

Vanderwood’s initial reaction is that of disbelief. Or more like, denial.

He’s seen some secret documents at his job. He knows what’s up. People’s genes mutate and occasionally, that gives them supernatural powers. Extraordinary gifts that should be celebrated, but are instead hidden away in dark laboratories, never to be seen by the world.

No, he’s not gonna let that happen to you.

In a fit of anger, you grab him by the arm and teleport you both to a secluded place in an unknown country. Might be the waves crashing against the cliff you’re standing atop, might be the sun rays warming you up as the sun rises, but Vanderwood calms down.

He understands he can’t make the decision for you. He can’t hide you away in some faraway cottage at the end of the world. All he can do is sit down and have a serious conversation with you.

Lets you know he’ll be there for you no matter what happens. Even if it means laying down his own life, he’ll protect you.

Never comes to this, though. With time you realize there’s only one place you truly want to be, and that’s by his side. Everything else you wanna see in this world, well, you sure as hell can get there by the various means of transportation that already exist. And with Vanderwood by your side, the hours spent traveling are time well spent.

Okay, so what if Fringe and The Flash took place in the same universe?

Fringe ended January 2013; the accelerator incident that created the Flash occurred in-universe December 2013.  So Fringe Division could have easily been sent to investigate what was clearly a Fringe Event in Central City.  Walter’s gone (I know there was a time skip at the end of Fringe even with the Observers defeated, but lets just say Walter’s gone already, mmkay?) but I’d like to imagine that maybe the team has started branching out and growing.  So maybe a small team headed up by Astrid - who is long overdue this kind of promotion - shows up in Central City to investigate the incident and determine what sort of fallout they may be dealing with here.  

Astrid gets to Central City and starts investigating STAR Labs; who is going to show up on her radar here?  The main STAR Labs trio of season 1 of course: Harrison Wells (Eobard Thawne) himself and also Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow.  But also the other employees of STAR Labs.  The ones who are jumping ship, who are being quietly pointed towards earlier retirement, who are getting laid off by Wells because ‘STAR Labs’ is downsizing in response to this ‘tragedy’.  And one name keeps popping up.  Hartley Rathaway.  So Astrid tracks him down for an interview and finds him suffering from his newly enhanced hearing.  Hartley is no longer just a potential source of information implicating Wells in criminal negligence in the accelerator incident; he’s evidence that the city itself has become an ongoing Fringe event because of how he was altered by the dark energy released that night.

Broyles isn’t convinced that one person is evidence of an ongoing Fringe event.  Or at least he knows he can’t justify an ongoing presence in Central City based on Hartley’s enhanced hearing alone.  So Astrid has to find more ‘meta humans’.  (Would that even be a term yet?)  She’d hire Hartley as a temporary consultant, giving him the means to create the hearing aids he desperately needs to tone down his now painful hearing to something more manageable but also inadvertently promising him revenge - she is investigating STAR Labs and building a case against Wells, after all - and she knows how to deal with bitter, angry scientists.  Without really meaning to, Hartley winds up loyal to Astrid because she gave him the means to put his life back together after Harrison tore it apart.

But while all that character development for Astrid and Hartley’s going on, they still have to find more metas to justify a permanent presence in Central City for Fringe division.  (Astrid doesn’t want to leave the job undone and Hartley is starting to realize he doesn’t want this job to be temporary.)  And they do start discovering metas.  Starting with the comatose Barry Allen, whose unusual seizures and rapid healing have also attracted the attention of Harrison Wells.

I’d have Fringe Division in Central City wind up as a joint task force between the FBI and the CCPD headed up by Astrid, with Hartley as their lead scientific advisor and Joe and Eddie attached to it on the CCPD’s side.  They’d have a lab with little nods to Astrid’s time working with Olivia, Walter, and Peter - a piano for playing when their brains get stuck looking for inspiration, a little cow figurine to represent Gene... 

So now there’s this massive, on going Fringe event and the Observers marooned in this timeline are drawn to it, maybe thinking they can somehow use this to their advantage in reinstating the path to their future.  There’s William Bell, who in this timeline became the very sort of megalomaniac that Walter was so afraid of becoming himself, drawn to the promise of powers beyond anything even he’s imagined... perhaps even a new method of cheating death.  So the Fringe Team in Central City could easily create a whole new ‘season 1′ with stories dealing with new metahumans and tying up loose ends that Fringe’s truncated final season didn’t have time for.

But imagine beyond the first season of The Flash.  Maybe Earth-2 is The Other Side and the accelerator incident here had ripple effects there, causing Harry’s accelerator incident that same night.  (Though that’s my general headcanon regardless of whether I toss Fringe in there too.)  The breaches between the two Earths allow for new story lines with the other Fringe Division and Walternate.  A return of the shapeshifters, perhaps, seeing metahumans as a potential method of finally stabilizing themselves.  Fauxlivia and Lincoln and Scarlie vs Deathstorm and Killer Frost and Reverb... and not to forget Zoom, of course.

    while jamie’s mother is a witch as well as his sister, his father isn’t magic in any way. & the fact that jamie ended up a shapeshifter was kind of like a freak recessive gene typa deal so rather than becoming a witch himself, the magic manifested itself in other non-conventional ways.

     it’s as a result of this “extra” magic that he’s able to use his powers so easily & so well controlled as a young adult ( & realistically from childhood as well ). it was never something he needed to practice at. it’s always been something as easy as reading or writing. this being compared to the stereotypical lore for shapeshifters where it’s some sort of spell or charm in place that’s either time limited or potentially draining, or some sort of negative result that cannot be controlled.

    in this respect, it’s likely closer to the physiology of metamorphmagi in harry potter in the sense there’s no need to imprint, but his capabilities far exceed those of metamorphmagi. he can essentially transform into any living thing & stay in the shifted form with extreme ease. he can also shift individual aspects or parts of his body without having to do a full shift into something else. however, shifting is not where his abilities end.

   i can’t say he has super healing per say, but bc he has this innate understanding of his physiology & the things around him, he is able to consciously “heal” himself by shifting so that the wound has healed over. if he's wounded, he makes a conscious decision to manage the wound & shift to fix it but that's only temporary.

  this however, as it is the result of shifting, he'll still have to eventually go back to his "natural state" in which he is wounded. it acts more as a temporary reprieve. in that kind of a situation shifting is more like a band-aid to stop the bleeding but it doesn't stitch the wound.  additionally, if he knows ahead of time that there’s a risk of injury, he can shift himself into something more sturdy to either avoid being wounded or at the very least lessen the severity.

  for small stuff it’s not especially tiring to hold, but just generally has to keep it in mind so that when he does shift, he doesn’t forget to shift with this sort of magically healed wound. if it’s a much larger & more serious injury then it takes a lot of out of him. shifting in general takes a lot of energy which is part of why he eats so much, he burns through it really quickly.

  as an example for something small, like changing the colour of his hair. he can just leave that for as long as he wants like a computer running a program in the bg if that makes sense. so it still takes energy to some degree but is very minimal. 

    he has basic sensory powers as well. something akin to seeing someone’s aura, but it’s more like a subtle understanding than having some sort of visual cue. he can’t read emotions very well, although that’s more the result of his personality. instead he can sense something inhuman even if he can’t recognise what about something is inherently inhuman. this knowledge is immediate after seeing someone or sensing something is nearby. but again this is something more subtle so if there was some sort of magic in place to hide someone’s supernatural identity, he’s not practiced or tuned enough to see through it. he also has a very vague sense of how powerful a creature said other supernatural being is. it’s not something that would intimidate or influence his behaviour, but it’s something none the less. he can also tell the difference between ancient or old magic as being compared to new or modern day magic. it just feels different to be around.

   the other more major thing is that jamie can lend his power to other witches. while he cannot perform magic himself/by himself, he is able to contribute his magic power to witches the same way witches will call on others to strengthen spells & other such things. when doing so, he is actually able to contribute & add more power than the average witch bc his magic powers are technically never being used.

A shtriga case sets Dean on edge. “Dean, what the hell is going on?” You ask. Dean sighs before explaining what happened.

🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 -Dean’s flashback & POV- It was long before Y/N showed up into our lives, it was just me, Sam, and Katie. The three of us were staying in a hotel in Fort Douglas, Wisconsin.

Katie was just a baby at the time and we just ran out of diapers. Even though dad told me to stay put, I disobeyed him, I left the room to get some baby supplies for Katie. Both of them were already asleep by then- Katie fell asleep against Sam’s chest… I wished that I had a camera.

When I got back I saw that black-robed son of a bitch feeding off of Sammy. I hesitated to fire the shotgun dad left because I didn’t want to hit my siblings. Dad burst through the door with his gun raised. “Get out of the way!” Dad yelled. I did as I was told. Dad shot the shtriga a few times causing it to leave. He then pulled my brother close to him, cradling his head. “Sammy. Sammy. Sammy. You okay?”

“Yeah Dad, what’s going on?” A confused and tired Sam asked in response.

“You all right?” Dad then looked at me with a disappointed look. “What happened?”

“We ran out of diapers… I left to go get some.”

“I told you not to leave this room. I told you not to let them out of your sight!” -End of flashback-

-No ones POV- “Dad just … grabbed us and booked. Dropped us off at Pastor Jim’s about three hours away, but by the time he got back to Fort Douglas the shtriga had disappeared, it was just gone. It never surfaced until now. You know, Dad never spoke about it again, I didn’t ask. But he…ah…he looked at me differently, you know? Which was worse. Not that I blame him. He gave me an order and I didn’t listen, I almost got you and Katie killed.” Dean says finishing up his explanation.

“You were just a kid.” Sam whispers.

“You shouldn’t be k—” You start to say.

“Don’t. Don’t. Dad knew this was unfinished business for me. He sent me here to finish it.” Dean interrupts.

“Okay… so now what?” Katie asks. This kid, Michael actually says he’d be the bait… because the shtriga hurt his little brother. 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 One day you, Dean and Katie are hanging out in the motel room, it’s a hunt free day. Dean turns on some tunes, and well you can’t help it, you start to sway along to the beat song. Eventually, that swaying turns into dancing with an imaginary partner.

“What are you doing kiddo?” Dean asks with a small laugh.

“This song was one of the few that played in the TARDIS and I ended up dancing with Jack, the Doctor, and Rose.” You reply.

“You look ridiculous dancing like that by yourself.”

“You could join her, you know.” Katie says not bothering to look up from what she is doing.

“Yeah so could you.” Dean states. You freeze when you hear the wheezing and groaning noise of the TARDIS. You walk over to the window and look out, a small smile forms on your face.

“Hello again old friend.” You mutter when you see the big blue box. “I’ll be back.” You say grabbing a room key, and heading out to the parking lot. You knock on the door expecting Jack to still be there and answering the door. Instead, it’s Rose that answers.

“Y/N, it is so good to see you.” Rose says.

“You got the TARDIS working again?” You ask in response.

“Somewhat. I need some help though.”

“What’s going on?”

“It’s the Doctor- he’s changed.”

“What do you mean by changed?” Rose then explains that he changed everything about him with something that looked like nano genes, and she came to you because you had more knowledge about this kind of thing then she does. You don’t bother to ask how they found you, that’s not important at the moment. What is important at the moment is to calm your hysterical friend down.

“Rose?” Katie asks when you bring Rose inside. “How’d you get here?” Rose doesn’t answer because she’s in so much shock. You have your friend sit down, pressing a paper cup of coffee into her hands, then draping a blanket over her shoulders.

“I’m guessing you keep forgetting the Doctor is technically an alien even if he looks human.” You say sitting down next to your friend. She nods a little bit.

“He completely changed on me- that’s why I came to you… you deal with things like this constantly Y/N. I don’t.” Rose explains. “I don’t know what to do.”

“Can you explain how he changed?” Dean gently asks.

“This golden stuff came out of his head and hands… one moment he was the Doctor the next he was this stranger.”

“Okay, not a shapeshifter… if he was a shapeshifter it would’ve looked like someone was crawling out of someone else’s skin.” You throw your brother a bitch face. “What it’s true.”

“Do you mind not freaking Rose out more?” You reply. “That golden stuff was called regeneration energy, it’s how the Doctor’s people cheat death.” You grab your laptop and open a web browser and Google the Doctor. You then show Rose some of the past versions of the Doctor. “If he barely regenerated he’s going to need our help.”

“What do you mean?” Rose asks looking at you.

“Best way how to put it, he might be acting like a drunk.”

“(Nickname)?” Dean asks as Sam walks into the motel room burdened with supplies.

“Hey Rose. Where’s everyone else?” Sam asks setting down the supplies.

“That’s why she’s here Sammy, the Doctor needs help.” You answer. “Speaking of which the poor bloke is still in the TARDIS. I’ll be back.” You then head back to the TARDIS to find the Doctor looking like he is about to collapse. Your instincts take over and you catch him before he falls. “I got ya, Doctor.” You say draping his arm around his shoulders helping him stay upright.

“Y/N Winchester…” He mutters.

“Stay with me Doctor- just a little further.” Your alien friend collapses as soon as the two of you enter the motel room. Thankfully Sam is right there to help you catch the time lord.

“You weren’t kidding about him being in rough shape.” Sam says. “So now what?” You place two fingers on the side of the Doctor’s neck, there’s one heartbeat. You then move your hand to the other side of his neck- there’s the second heart. Both heartbeats are a little weak.

“Well, the good news is that both hearts are working. Bad news his pulses are weak.” You say.

“Get ahold of John. He might know what to do.” Dean suggests.

“You are brilliant Dean.” You say as you fish out your laptop.

“Y/N, what’s going on?” Rose asks the initial shock is over for now.

“Right now, taking care of you and the Doctor.” 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 “Rose, duck.” You say when everyone was about to get killed by a spinning plant. Bullets don’t work on that sucker. Rose grabs the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver and puts it in the Doctor’s hand.

“Help me!” She says. The Doctor sits bolt upright and sonics that thing, causing the death plant to explode.

“Remote control. But who’s controlling it?” The Doctor asks. He then rubs his temples. “You woke me up too soon. I’m still regenerating. I’m bursting with energy.” As he says that some regeneration energy exits his mouth. “My head! I’m having a neuron implosion!”

“Need any painkillers Doc?” Dean asks. “I have some in my bag if you need them.”

“No, thanks for the offer… I need something but I can’t think of it.”

“Let us know when you remember.”

“How are you guys so calm about this?” Rose asks as the Doctor goes down against the pillows again.

“Because we’re used to crazy shit like this.” Katie says. “This is pretty much an average day for us.”

“Nearly being killed by a plant is a new one.” Dean points out. You start to do something on your laptop. You press play on a video that is on the BBC news website. Your eyebrows furrow together.

“Rose, did you understand any of that?” You ask your friend referring to the alien language in the video. Rose shakes her head. “Great…”

“What’s going on?” Sam asks.

“How should I know, the part of the TARDIS that translates alien languages isn’t working.” You answer throwing a glance at the Doctor’s limp form, before returning your attention back to your laptop. “HOLY SHIT!”

“What?” Katie asks.

“Newest headline… all across the globe, people are standing on rooftops about ready to jump.”

“I think we need to get to the TARDIS.” Dean suggests.

“Good idea. Someone help me with the Doctor.” Rose states. 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 Once inside the Tardis, there is a jolt and the TARDIS is moving, except the engines aren’t on. Dean lets out a string of curse words and flying. “Dean, the engines aren’t even on! Something actually picked up the TARDIS.” You state accidentally knocking over a cup of tea. When the TARDIS stops moving everyone except the Doctor pokes their heads out of the police box.

“Rose. Rose! I’ve got you. My Lord. Oh, my precious thing. The Doctor, is he with you?” The prime minister says when she helps Rose catch her balance.

“No. We’re on our own.” Rose replies.

“The yellow and (hair color) girl. They have the clever blue box. Therefore, they speak for your planet.” The person with a translating machine says. He also says Sycorax, you guess that is what this alien species is called.

“Any idea on what to say?” You ask softly to your friend who shakes her head. “Improvising it is then.”

“We, er, I address the Sycorax according to Article Fifteen of the Shadow Proclamation. I command you to leave this world with all the authority of the Slitheen Parliament of Raxacoricofallapatorius, and er, the Gelth Confederacy as er, sanctioned by the Mighty Jagrafess and, oh, the Daleks! Now, leave this planet in peace! In peace.” Rose says. The Sycorax roar with laughter.

“You are very, very funny. And now you’re going to die.” The translator says.

“Touch my kid sister and you get a bullet to the face.” Dean growls. The prime minister isn’t much better than your brother. While the translator is translating the Sycorax suddenly starts speaking English. You and Rose share a look and smile.

“It’s working!” Both of you say in unison. That’s when the Doctor walks out with a cocky smirk.

“Did you miss me?” He asks, as the Sycorax cracks a whip and the Doctor catches it and yanks the whip out of their hand. “You could have someone’s eye out with that.”

“How dare!” The Sycorax in charge nearly yells. After breaking a club over his knee, the Doctor smiles at you, your family and your friend.

“You just can’t get the staff. Now, you, just wait. I’m busy. Y/N and Katie, hello! And Harriet Jones MP for Flydale North. Blimey, it’s like ‘This is Your Life’. Tea! That’s all I needed, a good cup of tea! Superheated infusion of free radicals and tannin. Just the thing for healing the synapses. Now, first thing’s first. Be honest, how do I look?” The Doctor states looking at you and Rose.

“Er, different.” Rose answers.

“Good different or bad different?”

“Just different.”

“Am I ginger?”

“No, you’re just sort of brown.” The doctor pouts like a kicked puppy.

“I wanted to be ginger. I’ve never been ginger. And you, Rose Tyler, fat lot of good you were. You gave up on me. Oh, that’s rude. That’s the sort of man I am now, am I? Rude. Rude and not ginger.” You snicker softly to yourself. The prime minister doesn’t want to believe that the Doctor is actually the Doctor.

“If I might interrupt.” The leader of the Sycorax says.

“Yes, sorry. Hello, big fellow.”

“Who exactly are you?”

“Well, that’s the question.” You bite your tongue to stop yourself from saying ‘I thought it was to be or not to be.’

“I demand to know who you are!”

“I don’t know! See, here’s the thing. I’m the Doctor, but beyond that, I just don’t know. I literally do not know who I am.” The doctor states. “It’s all untested. Am I funny? Am I sarcastic? Sexy? Right old misery? Life and soul? Right-handed? Left-handed? A gambler? A fighter? A coward? A traitor? A liar? A nervous wreck? I mean, judging by the evidence, I’ve certainly got a gob. And how am I going to react when I see this, a great big threatening button. A great big threatening button which must not be pressed under any circumstances, am I right? Let me guess. It’s some sort of control matrix, hmm? Hold on, what’s feeding it?” You’re starting to like this version of the Doctor more than the Doctor you first met. The Doctor opens up a panel and continues to ramble. “And what’ve we got here? Blood? Yeah, definitely blood. Human blood. A Positive, with just a dash of iron. Ah, but that means blood control. Blood control! Oh, I haven’t seen blood control for years. You’re controlling all the A Positives. Which leaves us with a great big stinking problem. Because I really don’t know who I am. I don’t know when to stop. So if I see a great big threatening button which should never, ever, ever be pressed, then I just want to do this.” The crazy time lord hits the flashing button.

“No!” You, Rose and the prime minister say in unison. The button doesn’t do anything to the ship, you later find out that everyone with A Positive blood has gotten off the rooftops and went home. The Doctor starts talking to the Sycorax again.

“Well, yeah, you could, yeah, you could do that, of course, you could. But why? Look at these people. These human beings. Consider their potential. From the day they arrive on the planet and blinking step into the sun, there is more to see than can ever be seen. More to do than. No, hold on. Sorry, that’s The Lion King. But the point still stands. Leave them alone!” You and your family snort when he says the Lion King. 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 “You can always come with us Y/N.” The Doctor offers after everything.

“Maybe next time. Right, this instant my family needs my help.” You reply. “But don’t worry, I’ll call if I need you.”

“Fair enough. See you around Winchesters.” “Later Doctor!” You and your siblings wave as the TARDIS leaves the motel parking lot.

“So, now what?” Dean asks. “Things go back to normal then?”

“Normal? Normal is boring.” You joke. “I say we follow the road and see where it takes us.”

Fuzzy isn’t that weird.

Okay, so today’s installment of ‘elaborate AU I hadn’t bothered to make a post about previously’ is shapeshifters! More clearly stated, it’s the human to animal shapeshifting community as it pertains to my view of how an AU like that works.

In this world, Tony is a European Lynx shapeshifter. Now, most everything else is the same, mostly, but for a few pivotal details.

Shapeshifters are actually only about a fifth of the human population, and some people have throwbacks all the way to extinct lines of animals (such as Rhodey being a European wolf, which are huge by the way) or end up a blend of multiple lines if their family kept relatively to one species through marriage and such. Some families end up with kids who are all different species just because there were that many lines of animal types in the family.

The shapeshifter gene is recessive, and animal types are denoted by dominance within those. For instance, mammalian shifters are more common than birds which are more common than reptiles. Nobody is a fish shifter as it’s suspected that aquatic types died out fairly early in the evolution of humanity due to being unviable on land. Among mammals, feline and canines are the most common, just as raptors are predominant among birds, and predatory lizards are most common in that class of shifter. It’s been determined that, overall, prey animals only make up perhaps a fifth of all shifters, and only a third of those are not omnivores.

Now, as for how all this affects humanity as a culture, well, people are people. Shifters get discrimination heaped on them, so it’s not uncommon for those who are such a thing to keep it to themselves unless they’ve determined that the person they’re telling can either be trusted with it, or is a shifter as well. Often, shifters don’t really get a choice about coming out in their adolescent years, as from the point of childhood to as far as late teens, a shifter might be unable to control when they turn into a stage-of-life similar variation. Which means that at least a couple times Howard and Maria had to rush in and scoop up tiny kitten Tony before anyone got a good look at him and realized what was what.

It wouldn’t have done for the press to figure him out. It’s also to be noted that shifters under heavy stress or ill health will at times also revert to their animal form and remain so until this has passed. Returning to human form when the stressor still present is not only difficult but often unwelcome and unpleasant as well. Suffice to say that college, for many shifters, is a minefield of negotiating being outed.

But, in terms of how discrimination works, it’s often a mess of people assuming things, and passing on those assumptions. Stories like werewolves and the like still exist, for all that shifters don’t in any way crave human blood, and while having animal instincts, do, in fact, maintain their human intelligence and ability to think in their animal form. There have been issues of people not trusting shifters in certain professions and even, once upon a time, having them banned from medical practices as a ‘safety procedure’. It also means that shifters were both coveted and targeted by the last world war’s conflict, both as attack animals, and as people to get rid of when they wouldn’t bend to such demands.

These days, many of those prejudices have been overturned in studies, but people are still cruel, and things like turning young shifters feral after a kidnapping isn’t unheard of. People like to forget that such a thing would apply to any human, and that shifters are simply more vulnerable due to their stress responses. The battle for equality, in the United States at least, has come incredibly far, and many practices once considered common or acceptable are illegal.

And this is the world Tony was born into, which he’s never squandered. His parents were both shifters, two different lynx lines from different parts of Europe, but Howard did his level best to keep that from being found out and affecting the business, which Tony did his best to do as well, until his late twenties. After that, it was less about trying to keep it a secret, and more about making it not a big deal.

Really, the biggest change it made for Tony is having yet one more cause to keep an eye on and champion, and the way he did his architecture. Let’s just say that Tony has shamelessly made sure to have heated floors near really dramatic sunlit windows, shall we? And said floors have ridiculously soft plush carpeting to boot. 

As a last sidenote! It takes a lot of skill to only shift partially, and many shifters either never learn, or never bother. Added to this, it’s almost unheard of for people to be able to speak in their animal form though there are stories of the rare, old shifter who has learned some form of animal-form-only telepathy through sheer overwhelming amount of time spent in said form. Such a skill can be taught, should it exist, but most people believe that it is, in fact, just a myth.

Tony, of course, totally knows how to partial shift, and did you know Lynxes can both roar and purr? Because they totally can. And Tony is not afraid to purr when he damn well feels like it either.

     all major notes are in large text so if you’re only going to skim then just make note of those few sentences & the rest is just sort of extra info if you’re curious

     so i have been playing around with the idea that jamie's mother is a witch & i think i’m officially going to be adding it to his bio. but until i add it to his pages, this post will have to do.

     so neither jamie’s father nor little sister are magic in any way. & the fact that jamie ended up a shapeshifter was kind of like a freak recessive gene typa deal so rather than becoming a witch himself, the magic manifested in shapeshifting.

     now, it’s as a result of this extra magic that he’s able to use his powers so easily & so well controlled as a young adult, & realistically from childhood as well. it was never something he needed to practice at. it’s always been something as easy as reading or writing. this being compared to the stereotypical lore for shapeshifters where it’s some sort of spell or charm in place that’s either time limited or potentially draining, or some sort of negative result that cannot be controlled.

     in this respect, it’s likely closer to the physiology of metamorphmagi in harry potter, but his capabilities far exceed those of metamorphmagi. he can essentially transform into any living thing & stay in the shifted form with extreme ease. he can also shift individual aspects or parts of his body without having to do a full shift into something else.

     alright, beyond explaining his shifting capabilities he does have other abilities!

     he has basic sensory powers as well. something akin to seeing someone’s aura, but it’s more like a subtle understanding than having some sort of visual cue. he can’t read emotions very well, although that’s more the result of his personality. instead he can sense something inhuman even if he can’t recognize what about something is inherently inhuman. this knowledge is immediate after seeing someone or sensing something is nearby. but again this is something more subtle so if there was some sort of magic in place to hide someone’s supernatural identity he’s not practiced or tuned enough to see through it. he also has a sense of how powerful a creature said other supernatural being is. it’s not something that would intimidate or influence his behaviour, but it’s something none the less. he can also tell the difference between ancient or old magic as being compared to modern day magic.

     additionally, i can’t say he has super healing per say, but bc he has this innate understanding of his physiology & the things around him, he is able to consciously “heal” himself by shifting so that the wound has healed over. this however, as it is the result of shifting, will “shift back” whenever jamie so decides is convenient. it’s not as if its tiring to hold, but just generally has to keep it in mind so that when he does shift, he doesn’t forget to shift with this sort of magically healed wound.

     the other more major thing is that jamie can lend his power to other witches. while he cannot perform magic himself/by himself, he is able to contribute his magic power to witches the same way witches will call on others to strengthen spells & other such things. when doing so, he is actually able to contribute & add more power than the average witch bc his magic powers are technically never being used.
