Who do you think actually was there first in Skyrim? The snow elves or the people of the Reach? I don’t know which group is older.

I think this depends larely on what part of modern Skyrim as the borders of what where Skyrim or Keizaal have been vary over time.

As in the merethic era the land owned by the dragon cult ranged from the Wrothgarian Mountain range into Hammerfell.

It could have been bigger but this is the areas we can confidently say had dragon cult ruleing during this peak due to where Dragon Priests have been found. The easy answer is the Snow Elves. They where in areas of modern day Skyrim and High Rock till late Merethic Era. And they had been having issues with human races such as Atmorans since before Ysgramor.

Reachmen are very mixed in their oragins, but due to them having a close relation to Bretons modern Reachmen likely did not exist until the first era but the orgininal Reachmen have existsed in Karth since likely the Wandering Elnofey became man. So the orginal Reachmen would have lived along side the Snow Elves but the Atmorans where the ones who disturbed the dust.
