1. History 2: Crossing the line

Cute, squishy, wholesome. Fantastic school volleyball setting, real lovable characters. The adorableness of Fandy Fan is squeal worthy. Steamy kisses and a happy ending. What more can anyone want. The best of the history series in my opinion. 

2. History 3: Trapped

Good storyline with a really strong cast. But Chris Wu as Tang Yi really stole the show for me. He was unbeatable. Every scene he was in, he commanded the audience’ s attention. He emoted so well with his eyes. The complexity of his emotions, his character as a whole. I loved this series. Well made. My first ever BL. It will always have a special place in my heart.

3. Theory Of Love

Off and Gun were impeccable in this show. They have great chemistry in general but this show was awesome. The sheer character development shown for both the characters, the progression in every episode, it had me hooked, It made me cry. Most thai Bls have this odd issue of story progression where sometimes friendships are just plot devices and more often than not, they disappear when the love story has kick started, but not this show. It was truly complete. Well made, the scenes were beautiful, no engineers thankfully. Real characters, real troubles, real friendship and pure unadulterated 100% love. Un and Two were the second couple but their story had heart as well. they weren’t just hastily put together to appease the audience. Truly one of the best romcoms ever made in general. I loved that Third wasn’t a pushover and that Khai really really worked for Third’s love and acceptance. My babies.

4. Why R U

Its already my favourite and its not difficult to figure out why. The relationships are well balanced and healthy. The acting is sooooooo good. Saifah and Zon are pure fluff and Saint and Zee are fire. I can’t pick out one scene from the whole series (what has been aired anyway) where the acting was not top notch.The relationship progression for both the main couples is realistic and healthy. There is no forceful or dubious consent involved in anything. There is no real stereotyping of roles. its different and perfect just the way it is. The scenes are picturesque and the main couples really feel like leads out of a kdrama.

5. Grey Rainbow

Yes, its a sad ending, but what can I say. Its so beautiful, touching and it made a place in my heart before I realised it. The acting was perfect, the scenes, the settings, the scenarios. Everything. It’s just so gooood. it was on my mind for a whole week after I finished it and I still feel nostalgic about it. Its just 4 episodes but it feels so homely, so warm, it wraps you up in a warm cozy blanket before you can even realise it. 500% recommend.

Honourable Mentions:

1. Love by Chance : Cute, well made. Ae-Pete are adorable, Pond is the best. The only reason it’s not up on the list is zero character development for Pete and the rape of Techno by Kengkla. Otherwise, it’s perfect. I rewatch it a lot as well.

2. Tharntype The Series

It's good. Really well made. I love that Type is perfect for Tharn. Tharn is technically a pushover and is used to getting his way by charming his way out of everything. But Type is different, sassy, perfect for him, for protecting him, strong enough to protect both of them and to not let Tharn get away with dilly dallying with his exes. Tharn is perfect for Type as he is equally schemy, knows how to get his way with Type, what works with him. They are perfect for each other. Just the way the dubious consent scene was shown and portrayed got on my nerves and the fact that Lhong wasn't punished for such a heinous crime.. agahshsjsn. He needs to be in jail. Tharn had too mild of a reaction to the reveal. I don't understand that.

3. History 1: Stay Away From Me

A sweet soft love story of 2 step brothers. Really really cute and pure. It's just like 40 mins or so, but the actors are great and it's just so sweet, makes me warm on the inside. Adorable. Recommend 100%.

4. 2 moons 2

I don't like the main couple but Ming and Kit are amazing. They have character development and the acting is on point. Forth and Beam have good development as well. I just hate the Park story arc plus unnecessary plot devices. Nine is perfect though and I can watch this just for him. Recommend for J9 essentially. They are really good.

5. Sotus

Krist Singto definitely did a good job. It's a good series but the best one is the our skyy part of the series. It's a good watch and the acting is good all around.

2gether the series seems to be really good too, until we meet again is really good as well.

020219 Keyland The Agit

WHAT. A. SHOW. Kim Kibum delivering nothing but epicness and awesomeness and sincerity and fun!

How do I even start? My friend saw me as Kibum walked right past me and she said i probably used up all the muscles on my face because i was smiling so widely. 😅

Spoiler alert! 🚨 Concert account!

I loved the part when Kibum talked about Keyland and explained how 5 SHINee members make up the SHINee world.

Jinki’s island has this huge, old smiling tree with tofu blocks as fruits, some tofu on the ground. In front of it is a big, comfy chair with a small round table, with a plate of fried chicken. Kibum was laughing a lot when he saw it. There was a sailboat on the side, and it all just seemed so comfy and serene.

Jonghyun’s island is a blue night. The moon is singing, and then there’s raincloud which just keeps on showering the flowers. The whole scene is so inviting.

And then there’s Minho’s island - an erupting volcano. Kibum was laughing his head off.

Taemin’s island is a fun, colourful stage. There’s stuff around which Taemin broke - phone, wallet, oar....

Then of course, Keyland! It was designed like an amusement park which is all magic and happiness.

It’s so joyful watching and hearing Kibum talk about his members. 💖

The stage started with a white, drapey cloth covering the dancers and Kibum. Then he started the show with Chemicals. When he immediately segued to Shift, there was a collective awww that filled the hall. He did his ment and then jumped straight to Hologram. I really love his dance step for the chorus.

The first VCR is of Kibum and his children. Comme des and Garcons are soooo cute! At the start, he got a golden ticket to Keyland. Then it brought him to various places in it like Entertainer City (which showed him practicing his script mainly his dirori line) and Artist Village (which showed him dancing and performing).

The next set began with Duty of Love and Easy to Love. He messed up a bit on the former (he was dancing opposite the direction of the dancers. He was laughing). And he was wearing this black see-through with white jacket/blazer on top. He’s so sexy but the songs and their choreo are soooo fun.

After another ment, he sang Honest and Imagine. I love, love, love this segment. He was dancing so hard and his movements are sharp and then he suddenly smiles and has THAT look and you just melt. There’s this part in Imagine when he, i don’t even know if i can describe it, he did this step where he raised his right leg to the front (bent at the knee), a bit to the side and then he did two body waves while in that position. Like. How. But really, this set is sooooooo gooood. I hope they come out with a DVD.

The second VCR came on and it was kibum in workman’s overalls tied at the waist. He was wearing a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He looked serious all throughout as the scenes jumped and melded into one another of him writing graffiti. At the end, it read “welcome to keyland”. This VCR. OMG. Kibum looked so hot.

Then the stage opened with Kibum in a small, elevated stage and a standing mic singing an acoustic version of OOTN. The dancers joined him at the chorus I think and the fanchants were so loud! Good, good was up next.

He then did another ment where he started talking about a new song. A repack! As if SHINee World isn’t crazy enough in February. 😂 He sang I Wanna Be and the whole stage is so fun and addicting. I can’t wait to hear the song again. At the end, he literally dropped to the floor, and caught his breath while drinking water. As he was talking to us, he was asking about the dance step/point of the song’s choreo. There were loud exclamations of “kwiyowo!” Haha. I Will Fight next.

And oh, in the ment, he was saying something like “this is the last song” and then when we all made a disappointed/disapproving sound, he was like “you guys know there’s still an encore anyway”. He was sassy.

After the encore, Hitchiking started playing. The dancers were giving away flowers while some of them were walking down the aisles taking pictures of the shawols with polaroids. Then Kibum! He walked down both aisles, smiling as he moves along. He was singing to Forever Yours.

From there, he sang another new song!!!! He was seated, in the middle of the stage, with spotlight on him. And finally, This Life. He was smiling so much when he saw the banners!!

Again. WHAT. A. SHOW. Kibum looked so comfortable, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it felt like he was with friends. And wow, hearing Kibum singing live. How can he be so perfect?!

I love it too how he’s showing us his individual color, but he always ties it back to SHINee. SHINee love. I love them so much.

It’s a happy day. A happy start to Keyland Agit. Can’t wait to visit and enjoy it again. 💖

Summer 2018 Top 5 OP

It’s weird that I don’t watch a lot of shows this season, including Grand Blue, Hataraku Saibou, Shingeki, Banana Fish that all you guys craze this season, I might watch Hataraku Saibou later down the line though.

Suripisu - Kino Hina, Nagae Rika, Kohara Konomi (Asobi Asobase)

Bitter Sweet Harmony - Nakajima Megumi (Sunoharasou no Kanrinin-san)

FLY two BLUE - Yuuki Kana, Miyashita Saki (Harukana Receive)

Hoshi no Dialogue - Starlight Kukugumi (Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight)

Chiheisen Stride - Iguchi Yuka, Asumi Kana, Hikasa Yoko, Ogura Yui (Yama no Susume S3)

Starting the list with Suripisu from Asobi Asobase, the first time I listened to the song I was really impressed with the atmosphere of this song had, seriously I LOVE THE instrumental so much. It’s crazy that the pre-chorus part where they’re speeding up the song from “sakura no hana chiru mado...” to end of the part is just SOOOOOOO GOOOOD. It’s kinda hard to talk much about the song since the full version will come out later on 22th of August. Oh yeah, Kohara Konomi’s singing voice is as good and as smooth as her talking voice, definitely a seiyuu to look out.

Second up is Bitter Sweet Harmony from Sunoharasou no Kanrinin-san, probably the one anime that no one actually watch this season because HorribleSubs doesn’t sub it. Moving on from that, the OP, Bitter Sweet Harmony is a song from Nakajima Megumi (Macross F’s Ranka) and was made by kz of livetune. A friend of mine when I told him about the song, asked me what kind of song is this if I have to describe the song to people, so I answer it’s a cheerful and uplifting song, so there you have it, this song have that cheery feeling that I want people to listen to, also if can also watch the OP sequence.

FLY two BLUE from Harukana Receive is next, which is probably one anime that took my top spot this season, simply because how neat the music are in this show, even though the story is just okay, well we’re not here to review about the anime so let’s move to the song. The seiyuu of the two main characters from the show, Yuuki Kana and Miyashita Saki sing this song finely, I guess the best part about this song is when they’re harmonizing, on the first line “so high....” and also the same part for the chorus. Again, like Suripisu the single hasn’t been released, so not much can be said about the song.

Hoshi no Dialogue from Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight might not be here if I’m not intrigued enough with the verse. The verse somehow reminds me of and old song that I liked so much, Sayonara Memories from supercell with nagi, I think it’s because of the similar style of singing the arranger employ within the song, but that makes me listen to the song. This song is very beautifully made, I’d suggest you to listen to the song with an earphone / headphone and just listen to the instruments that you can’t listen before, man the strings were just so beautiful.

Yama no Susume S3′s Chiheisen Stride is the last one, I wasn’t sure about this song the first time I listened to it because it’s just not as good as the previous season openings, but it grew on me. Also at the time of writing I finally listened to the full version and I found out that the piano on the opening part were so catchy. Nothing can be said more about this song than it’s GOOOOOOD but somewhat lacking because the previous OPs are just godlike. The instrumental part in the middle were fine but somewhat messy and probably were created for when they played it live.

Near the dark isle, where a bottle of honey with animal ears and tail, a box of rice, and a lollipop with hair reside. Said lollipop is talking to previously mentioned honey bottle about the other perishables. “Sugar Bear, who’s this “Firewater” guy, and why do you want me to go see him?” Firelolly asked, unsettled by the whole ordeal. “Is it cause our names are almost identical?” He continued. “No, it’s not because of that. I want you to meet him and the others cause they're really interesting people, with lots of knowledge about Lucky’s.” Sugar Bear said. “But I don’t even know where they live!” Firelolly cried. “Oh, that. Go straight for a while, turn right, go straight some more, and you’ll be there.”    “Okay, but what do I say to them? I hate making people upset.” “I’m not sure, Firelolly. But what I think you should do is act nice, cause they've never seen you.” The bear shaped honey bottle suggested. “That’s what anybody would say, and you haven’t even told me what they are.” “Wine, grits, and a twinkie” Sugar Bear listed, while seemingly staring into space. “What?” Firelolly blurted out, at the word “twinkie.” “Why’s there a twinkie?! Last time I checked, twinkies perish!” “I don’t why he’s there, he just......is.” “This is freaking me out more. Can I take Millie, or someone?!” He asked, frantically. “I don’t see what could go wrong if you bring her, so go ahead.” “Thank god, I was getting scared that you’d say no.”

Firelolly went to Millie’s isle, after finding a pastry who looked a  lot like her, except taller,  covered in yellow spots, with stuff coming out of the bottom of her, and white curled hair. “Minnie, Uh I mean Millie! Do you wanna go visit the non perishables with me?” She slowly turned around, noticing that Firelolly had randomly popped in. “Of course! I’ve always wanted to see them in person after what people have told me. They seem really awesome!” She then paused for a second. “But where do they live? Firelolly” “I’ll show you, Sugar Bear told where they are.” After about 10 minutes of walking, and Millie occasionally outrunning Firelolly, excited to go meet the infamous trio of products. They arrived, much to Firelolly’s dismay.  “Come on Firelolly, say hello to them!” Millie whispered. “Dude, you don’t know how freaking scared I am. Only time I’ve seen them, was from far away, and I wasn’t even sure if it was them or not!” He said, shaking. “Don’t worry, it can’t be THAT bad, can it?” “....Uh, maybe? How about how go in first, Millie.” the cake roll took his advice, and told them about her being a friend of Sugar Bear. Then a low, but still home how kinda high pitched voice with an accent Firelolly couldn’t recognise, welcomed Millie. “Firelolly flopped against the wall, still shaking. “Hey guys, you wanna meet my friend.” He heard Millie say. “Oh no, this means it’s my turn to introduce myself to them.

“Well,he’s suppose to be here, Firelolly! They want to see you!” Millie called. “I’m coming.” he called back, stopping abruptly when I pitched voice who’s gender was impossible to tell, laughed at his name. “You know what, screw it. I’ll go on in there, and just pray they don’t hate me.” Firelolly slowly went next to Millie, revealing his presence to all 3 products. One of which had the creepiest face he’d ever seen, he screamed a bit. Even though he was doing nothing but sitting, and smoking something, he didn’t even want to read his label, the only thing he managed to read was “Grits”. As he was dying of embarrassment. The brown product jolted up and said: “Why’d ya scream at me? Do I look bad?!”He cried. Firelolly slowly waddled over to where the 3 were. “Nope....you” He look another look at his face, this time right into his eyes, he was actually sort of pretty. But he got freaked out, and fell on his back. “Wah!” Only for him to get back up. “What the hell, are you gay for me?” “No!” Firelolly jolted. “Dude, it wasn’t meant to be a mean thing, why are you so damn weird ‘bout it?” “I don’t know why, but why are you with me, Millie is WAY WAY more entertaining than me!” He got a glance of Millie, making the weirdest expression, a slight smile with puppy eyes. “Hey, Mr Gritty! I’m Millie!”

 She squeezed herself between the two. “Don’t call me “Gritty”.” He murmured. Millie looked around the place, and made a small “squee” of happiness.” “I can’t believe that I’m here, man! I’ve always wanted to meet ya guys!!” Millie said, gleefully. “Weeeellll then.” Firelolly said. “Guess I just have to sit with, Fi, Wifi, Firewa...wa...weh. That guy!” He pointed to Firewater, who had fallen asleep. Firelolly inched towards him. “um, Hi” he whispered. The orange rectangle twitched his left arm, then hit him with his arm. “Isn’t he cute?” The twinkie Sugar Bear had told him about asked. “Um? No, he’s fat.” Twinkie looked at him. “how? I think he’s pretty sexy!” “What? EW!!” He cringed. “But, he is, Firewat, Firelolly!” “No he’s not. Your on crack, Twinkie, your out of your freakin’ mind, man.” Firelolly was suddenly interrupted by Millie.....swooning over Mr Grits.

 “Oh damn, it’s hot in here, someone turn down the heat!” She cooed. “Are you in love with me?” Grits asked. “No! I’m not, I just like you.” The cake roll stammered. “I think your in love with me, Millie.
