Based on my limited research.

Billy’s 1979 Camaro Z-28 only came in manual.

Steve’s 1983 BMW 733i came in manual and automatic.

Steve’s car was part of the first generation of Luxury cars in the 80’s. Therefore, I feel his family would have gotten him the automatic to display their “status” and maybe sadly because they feel Steve wasn’t smart enough to learn to drive stick.

With this knowledge now. I am imagining Billy teaching Steve how to drive manual. And maybe they aren’t together yet, but Billy is crushing hard. So every time Steve grinds his gears, stalls out, or continuously revs Billy’s engine in the wrong gear. Billy dies a little inside, but he just smiles and tells Steve to try again.

Random AU Moment #12: Plan B

Marinette: *snuggling with Adrien* So Adrien… What’s our Plan B?

Adrien: Plan B?

Marinette: Well, let’s say I don’t become a fashion designer and you can’t find work as a counselor. What should we do for a fallback?

Adrien: Well, I d-d-did have one idea… Nah.

Marinette: What?

Adrien: No, it’s s-s-s-silly.

Marinette: Come on, tell me.

Adrien: Well, when I was eleven, I had… I had this idea of opening my own little Ch-Ch-Chinese restaurant.

Marinette: Oh?

Adrien: Yeah, but not a b-b-big, fancy place or a takeout place. Just a small, Alfresco restaurant where I could s-s-s-serve noodle soup, dumplings, peking duck, you know, stuff like that.

Marinette: Sounds nice, sort of like my great uncle.

Adrien: Yeah. But my heart is s-s-s-set on being a counselor.

Marinette: And mine on fashion. Still, I could picture us doing something like that.

Adrien: Really?

Marinette: Yeah. So… Plan B?

Adrien: *smiles* Yeah. *holds her close* Plan B.

ok I thought of this a while back and can't get it out of my head so I had to post about it

picture this: after Eddie's death, Dustin makes it a point to check up on Wayne often. the kid was the only family he had left, and Dustin could clearly tell how much the news had killed him. so the Hendersons start inviting him to dinner. every so often becomes once a week, and Wayne is welcomed into their little family with open arms. he becomes like a father figure to Dustin, much like he was to Eddie.

as a bonus, Dustin might even play matchmaker. he notices how meticulously Claudia starts to clean the house before Wayne comes to dinner. he notices how Wayne's always sure to dress his nicest and laugh at all her jokes. so one day, Dustin makes an excuse that he can't be there and leaves the two alone. his plan works! the two really hit it off, and end up going out numerous times. including plenty of double dates with Joyce and Hopper :)

flash forward a couple years, and Wayne goes to Dustin and asks his blessing to marry Claudia. Dustin's the best man, and they even have a seat with Eddie's best photo and some flowers. Their little families unite, and despite being gone (???), Eddie is now officially Dustin's older brother.
