Lyrah - Everywhere (I Wanna Be with You) - Fleetwood Mac cover
Tumblr media
From Silicon Valley tech worker, to Hypemachine favorite and now with a viral, social media-driven track under her belt, Pennsylvania-native Lyrah has had quite a storied history to say the least. Her latest track "Everywhere (I Wanna Be with You)" builds on the trajectory forward from her viral hit with Daniel Allan "I Just Need"; championing quicker dance tempos and moving on from her sullen, slow-burning R&B tones of her earlier past. Racing at breakneck speed, it's hard to remember that the original iteration of the track was a Fleetwood Mac single; as demonstrated by the general euphoria of the track's sped-up vox and shimmery cascades which give the single an enveloping bliss.
You can check out Lyrah's latest works below including her homage to her quiet home city of Johnstown, "Coming Back" and the riveting immersion of her collaboration with Le Youth and Forester on "Stay Still":

On the topic of the ROs taking care of the MC, how about one who's very clumsy and constantly hurting themselves in accident? -Lyrah? I do use that in every account I make, be it for a game, site, or whatever. :P I guess I will go with that. (also, that may have already been asked too)
Don’t worry, this one hasn’t been asked yet (at least I don’t think so??)
------------
Caiden can relate. They’re just the same since they tinker a lot with machines and are surprisingly clumsy at that, so I guess you both take care of each other when you hurt yourselves. Caiden is very caring and selfless too regarding you, so they’d probably take care of you whilst they forget they’re just the same. Take care of them too MC.
Jade is an absolute mom. They might not look like it, with their standoffish attitude, but they are possibly one of the biggest worriers in the group. Their constant need to check on everybody, especially you, and fully examining the body for injuries, is a total mom thing to do. Oh, and they are very overbearing, so you’d have to remind them to chill a bit, they are likely to not believe you when you say it’s nothing or you’re okay, as they want your condition to be absolutely 100%. Then Jade will give a lecture on how to be more careful.
Bo is an asshole, I said it here and I will continue to say it. They are very sweet when they want to be, but not being able to take things seriously is their motto. It’s expected that Bo will probably just make fun of you, laughing about how clumsy you are. But if you remind them that they actually hurt and that this is serious, Bo will eventually take care of you – mind you, with playful jabs. They are caring and extremely affectionate, so don’t let their tendency to think that everything is a joke drown that.
Tori is very similar to Jade considering mom mode. They will be mostly frustrated that you’re careless and clumsy, so they’d probably make you feel a little guilty, but they’re angry reprimand is from the root of worry at the depth of their stomach. They are extremely good at taking care of you, and while they’re telling you to be more careful and whatnot, they’re tending to your injuries with gentleness. What they’re saying doesn’t necessarily fit with what they’re doing.
Jay is an absolute sweetheart, and if it weren’t for their harden skin, they’d also be sporting a lot of injuries given how clumsy they can be. But above everything else, Jay is nothing but considerate and skilled at taking care of people’s health. They know mostly everything there is to know about tending to injuries, cuts, illness or anything in those lines. You can bet that Jay will be fussing over you until you’re okay (which is be rather quick due to Jay’s effectiveness), and there’s nothing you can really do about it.
Jun is quite terrible at knowing how to deal with situation. They may seem smart and wise, but truly they’re very clueless in affairs that they don’t have experience with, and since they’re literally water, you can tell that they don’t have any reason to know how to tend to injuries. But Jun is good at resolving other issues, such as clumsiness, so you might go through some “exercises” to try and be more careful. Jun is a good teacher at least, and they do care. Even if they know how to make it better at the moment, they can solve the long-term effects.
--------------
Thank you for the ask anon! If any of you are clumsy then you’re valid because honestly, we’re all wearing these weird meat bags so no one can fault us for not knowing how to walk around in them.

The hybrids looked up–the three of them had been resting in a pile in the bottom of their cage, no longer caring about petty things like personal space. Lyrah was the first to speak. She pushed a matted lock of fur from her face and muttered, “Who…who knows. I figured someone would come check this place eventually, but… maybe they just figured we were better off dead.
Tumblr media
“...’better off dead’ my ass. I ain’t about t’let anyone waste away in here.” Roxie grabs a Dusk Ball and spikes it to the floor, releasing her Toxicroak. A simple point is all the information he needs; the Fighting-type begins going to work on the cage’s bars.
As Toxicroak focuses on getting the hybrids out, Roxie squats down to meet Lyrah’s eyes. “So, uh... you mind givin’ me some backstory?”

This world held so many new things and people that it was difficult to even begin thinking on what he should do first. The creatures that apparently were called Pokemon seemed to be all this world focused on. Pokemon trainers were highly respected. However the friendship he saw between was remarkable. They were most certainly not pets. “That’s it; I have seen enough. I want to do that.”
It took a good few days to get registered and get a few pokeballs. The problem was he did not get a starter pokemon. That being said, he was more than capable of battling one and catching it. About two hours into the forest, he could not find a single pokemon. He was hopelessly lost. “Oh come on… I just want to catch a pokemon.”
--------------
Lyrah stayed away from big cities when she could. Her appearance attracted far too much attention; if she didn’t need food or shelter, she’d stay away. The company of fellow pokemon was far superior to that of humans, anyways.
That didn’t mean, however, that humans never appeared in the forest. Every so often, one would wander through; she typically did her best to avoid these specimens. One human, however, remained persistent. Perhaps, instead, she should scare him off.
A blast of fire came at One straight-on, enveloping him in heat and catching fire to the leaves and twigs around him.

Caspian, The King of Souls
When Caspian dies, his rage becomes apparent, and he returns to end the senseless war between the Guardians.
Content warnings for swearing, character death and porcelain body horror.
When Caspian died, he felt every part of his body break away into shattered fragments. It was impossible to stop the cracks along his skin and clothes, impossible to grab his hand as it flew away into the void. He didn’t know that gods could feel pain, and so whatever feeling racked his body was given another name. Weakness? Defeat? Those were reasonable to assume. But was it really either of those that caused Caspian to scream when he died?
The pieces scattered and faded, and the Spirit Realm collapsed around him. Countless souls, displaced and forced into new sanctuaries, ones that weren’t ready to accommodate them. Without a physical form to take in the universes, Caspian couldn’t see what became of the Guardians, of the protectors they claimed, of the worlds caught in their crossfire. He was in solitude once again, in a place unnamed and untouched by the hands of gods. Here he would heal. Here, he would wait as the pieces of his broken body returned to him, rebuilt him. Would they be the same pieces, he wondered, or would he emerge as someone new?
Time did not exist in Caspian’s new prison. He couldn’t tell how long it had been since he arrived, nor did he know how long he would stay. He was not a god in this place, reduced to a weakened and unseeming state. No amount of power could let him see the outside or break away. Caspian resorted to silence. He had chosen solitude eons ago. But now that solitude wasn’t a choice.
When the first pieces came to reunite with him, Caspian was asleep. Gods couldn’t technically sleep, but he had fallen out of thought, his spirit diminished. Some pieces connected with him, and he only realized when his feet were whole again. They looked like the same feet, but then again, he wouldn’t know if he was the same for a while yet.
And so the pieces kept returning, one by one, rebuilding him from the bottom up. Caspian only moved when his left hand was complete. His arm wasn’t attached to it yet, but movement was granted to him still. His fingers stretched and recoiled, the cracks obvious along his skin but the pieces remaining glued together. This was when his thoughts began to return to him.
The first thought was not to be thankful, not about how much he wanted to see the worlds, to see Crowe Scaros again.
The first thought was how he was going to raise hell. It was an anger and fury that he had never felt before.
The final piece was his left eye. It had broken off the earliest, leaving a void black space in his face. When it returned to him, everything came back at once. Every feeling he had abandoned over eons, every thought and rationalization, everything became golden and whole again. He felt his body overwhelmed, his hands balling up into fists, feeling skin beneath his fingers and fabric swaying in an imaginary wind. Caspian shut his eyes, and when they opened again, the bars of his prison were broken and jettisoned, and he flew with vigor out into the universes. Oh, how he had missed the stars! Some followed him as he flew, anxious to welcome him back, and while he appreciated their support, his mission required the utmost haste.
Where were the Guardians?
Caspian found him easily. That world, right there. Earth. And getting closer, he saw Timestealer, Lyrah, and Pongo, and Hallix, and...yes. Crowe Scaros.
Caspian entered the atmosphere, the stars following behind him, shrinking to avoid destruction. All their souls were deep below the planet’s surface in some underground chasm, but Caspian bypassed the land, charging straight down for them. The stars joined with his body and he overflowed with power and light, a strength he had never been granted before. And there was the ground, where they stood, where Timestealer was prepared to strike Lyrah down. Caspian didn’t scream. No, he let his landing do the talking.
Letting his spine straighten after his landing, he looked at Timestealer, and his eyes burned. Timestealer, the great Guardian of Nightmares, the one who had given him godhood, stood afraid.
“You.”
Caspian didn’t know how his voice would work after so long, and when he spoke, he almost scared himself with how he growled.
“This. Ends. Now.”
“Caspian?” Lyrah said his name, her voice hoarse with the strain of the fight.
He spun to face her. She looked hopeful, excited almost. He knew why.
“I am not here to help you fight.”
And suddenly her expression changed, but Timestealer’s remained the same.
“You’re...you’re siding with him, too?” Lyrah asked in a whisper.
Caspian’s hands clenched into tight fists, the light flooding into his fingers. “I am here to end a war between childish gods. Don’t you understand how much pain you’re causing the universes you claim as your charge?”
“There was no other way -”
“There is always another way. Neither of you would listen to the other and so you resorted to violence,” Caspian nearly shouted, “You are both gods. Had it not crossed your mind that your decision to fight would yield destructive consequences?! How many people have already died by your hands?! How many worlds have you destroyed before this?!”
Timestealer stepped back, his staff lowering. His hands shook and his eyes threatened tears. The message hadn’t just reached him, no, it had already been planted within him, a doubt that was coming to the surface. Eventually his grip loosened on his staff and it clattered to the ground. Lyrah watched, her eyes growing darker.
“I didn’t want this,” Timestealer’s voice cracked, “I didn’t want to hurt anybody. But...so many people have died because of us and there’s nothing I can say to bring them back…nothing I can do…”
Caspian turned to him fully, stretching out his hand to place on Timestealer’s shoulder. In that moment the Guardian of Nightmares, one of the two most powerful beings in the universes, was smaller than Caspian in more ways than one. Caspian felt something in his chest grow heavy at the sight.
“You can still change this. Stop this fighting. Save those who haven’t been lost already,” He said.
Timestealer looked up at him with dark tears in his eyes before pushing out of his grasp. He faced Lyrah, who still lay on the ground, with loose shoulders and shaking knees. This long and awful fight had taken a toll on them both, and Caspian exhaled softly, knowing that whatever happened next, there would be no more bloodshed.
“He’s right. This ends now,” Timestealer breathed, “I won’t fight you anymore. If you don’t agree with what I’m doing, then either leave me alone, or we can sit down and talk about things like we should’ve done already.”
“You never wanted to talk,” Lyrah spat, pushing herself up onto her knees, “And you never would have listened to me.”
“Are you fucking kidding, Lyrah?! You’re the one who refused to talk because of your need to fulfill Una and Anu’s wishes!! You thought I was against you from the very beginning, and you were willing to do whatever it took to silence me, even at the cost of all these poor worlds, all those people!!”
Caspian grinned, a dark and threatening gesture, a silent agreement with Timestealer’s rage. They both stared at Lyrah, waiting for her next move. Her mouth opened like she was going to respond, but she kept rethinking her words, kept scaring herself with whatever she was planning to say. Eventually she took too long and Timestealer exhaled loudly, bending down to pick up his staff. Caspian tensed up, but realized that Timestealer was only using it as a crutch to lean on, his body weakened by the endless fighting he’d endured.
“I love you, Lyrah. You know I always have,” Timestealer whispered, “I never wanted to fight you. But we’re gods. We have the power to change our own destinies, not just follow the blind orders of our creators. We can be anyone, anything we want to be.”
Lyrah’s head fell to the ground, losing the last scrap of strength she had left. Her horns were speckled with her own blood and the dirt of the ground, and from her fallen stance, Caspian heard her sniffling. Behind her, Hallix and Crowe could only watch in disbelief as the goddess they’d followed for so long lay defeated, reduced to a sobbing mess. Pongo, who was closer to Caspian, lowered his sword until the tip bounced against the ground. Soon the blade disappeared entirely and turned into the ring on his finger. He watched Caspian, remaining quiet, only giving a nod once Caspian acknowledged him. His eyes were tired, even more tired than the two gods were. He’d seen too much fighting, too much bloodshed. It was unlikely that Pongo would have the strength to fight someone else’s battle again after this.
Caspian redirected his attention back to Lyrah and Timestealer, still standing between them as a makeshift shield in case either dared to act up. His voice still echoed with pent up frustration, a rage that had gone unexplained until that point.
“No more fighting,” He declared, “No more blood needs to be spilled. Let it be known that the Guardians of the universes have both admitted defeat today. This war is over.”
