Ok, Yesterday I finished watching the event, and since then I've been thinking about it:

WHAT IT MEANS "THE END...?" WITH A QUESTION MARK AND NOT JUST "THE END"?!?!?

Okay, I'll calm down a bit and think, since there is snow, it will probably be a Christmas-related event, since The Nightmare Before Christmas (obviously) aslo is related to Christmas, so maybe the event will come either at the end of November or in December, considering that Skully's SSR card will arrive on the jp server next year...

So is there a chance Skully come back and maybe Oogie Boogie would appear?!? 👀 Please bring Skully back, I need him

SPOILERS FOR SKULDUGGERY PLEASANT BOOK 17 AHEAD!!!!!!!

my opinions on the book,,,,,

ok so um.

warning! i criticise because its not my fault im hyperfixated on this book series,, one day it just kinda happened and i was oh wowowowowowo!!!!!!

i preferred it over book 16 by a lot,,, book 16 was kinda boring in my opinion but uh

the start of the book was?? Mr Glee being back was like strange too,, never really had any sort of opinion on him so seeing him return and it apparently being a big thing was just kinda. ‘oh ok.’

SOUP AND POTATO. SOUP. AND POTATO!!!! ASHRHSUDHDHV THE KITTES SOSOSO CUTE

skulduggery had a bit more personality to him this book and was more silly which was great :3

but. he’s literally just become a side character in his OWN series. i am getting terribly fed up of everything being about valkyrie. i know she too is a main character but like… i miss my skeleton:[

even TANITH had faded even further into the background :((( and ghastly is existing too which is whatever

dereks newer books seem to now kinda lack that sort of skulduggery magicy feeling,, yk?? i miss when like there was something happening every chapter and there was so many characters doing all kinds of things and everything was chaotic and the book was a complete mess with like 3 side plots happening at the same time as the big main one,,, now there’s like 1 plot and not as many characters AS DEREK KEEPS KILLING THEM AAAGH.

also when the FUCK did cadaver become a warden? what did i miss vruh

melancholia and her strange homerotic relationship with that friend who’s name i cannot bother to remember was totally out of the blue too. why bother if she’s just going to die. sighs.

SOLOMON THIS SOLOMON THAT WHERE IS MY SOLOMON DEREK GRRRRR MENTIONED ALL THE TIME BUT WE HAVE TO MEET HIM PLIZ!!!!!!!!

SHUDDERS GATE MENTIONED TWICE!!!!!! but no anton shudder. WHERE IS SHUDDER

i loved mystonsis’s (i don’t think that’s how you spell it) death,,, val literally seeing her dead and then forgetting her right after looking away was so eerie and sad it made me giggle

also dereks weird anti-racism character exclaim. what was that for sorry???? lolol in my opinion that chapter was totally unneeded it was like he was trying to prove a point or something.

derek please never ever try to write your interpretation of two Gen-z characters friendship thank you ❤️❤️

the edgley family reunion! i liked that bit and when val was being asked questions about one of gordon’s books being turned into a movie (derek obviously foreshadowing that he’s trying to get us a movie for book 1 again!!!!! yay!!!!!!)

and there was fletchers death. now don’t attack me but,,,, i didn’t really,,, care,,,,, fletcher was such a cool character with a very interesting story just,,, uh i have my preferences in a character i like just like the next person and in my opinion he isn’t a favourite 👏

also calaen returns. that was. boring. i literally sighed when it was calaen. reusing an old stupid weirdo that the fandom saw more as a creep than what derek tried to picture him as (just a villain). i like to think that calaen was more than just a malevolent character, he was an actual creepy teenage looking old man that stalked and harassed valkyrie. he was different to the other bad people,, he was a morally wrong character that you are meant to dislike (take serpine for example who is a villain, yet not calaen type of creepy. serpine is still likeable)

overall ? 6/10. and that is me being VERY generous. like i said the newer books lack that spark that once made them interesting. derek is killing his series not just the characters. he’s all smug thinking he’s upset us but really he’s just driving his book series to the ground because he’s killed off absolutely every interesting character and now he has nothing worthwhile to build the plot of another book around lol. karma i guess,,,

flynn dialogue. maybe i have dumb humour but some of his lines r still very amusing to me. also the beginning of the 2nd giants level, mostly on account of how often i restarted my game and played it

when me and my bestie were playing trap team together. i was enigma and xe was bushwhack and though i dont remember much, i remember we were in utter hysterics the whole time. honestly think it was one of the happiest days of my life. we just roleplayed as them for hours and its the reason i like enigma/bushwhack.

we had to stop playig at telescope towers bc that level was glitched on my wii and the fun came to a grinding halt but god i miss it

the characters. i think they r funky lil dudes

the cost. they were pricey before for what they were, and now those prices are worse. also, wa snever fodn if hiw fast the gamrs came out. the series needed a breather

yeah! i just dont really want another mainline game, or ar least dont want a game that introduces new characters

nostalgia? it means a lot but idk what its meaning to me is tbh. its just a fun game

i dont want another mainline game tbh, id want something along the lines of pokemon masters ex. id rather see more love given to preexisting characters than get any new ones. id wanna use toy codes to get characters i have in the game and have some sort of chat system between whatever story mode there is so it can at least somrwhat feel like were friends with these guys.

i have 112 total figures: 86 skylanders, 87 counting trigger snappy; 7 items and 18 traps

yeah - even if i dont like whatever may come next, id want to encourage them to make a better game ig

point them towards an emulator tell them about the diversity in characters u can play. thats always been the appeal to me
