an | it's a canon event that i come onto this acc every few months js to write self projecting fics then dip, also new layout ig!

“Another shot!” it was the fifth time niki had heard you call those words out and he figured it was time to intervene before he would be lugging you home slung across his shoulders 

Before you could even grab the drink niki quickly downed the whole thing stopping you in your tracks – quite evidently leaving you annoyed. In all honesty niki was doing you a favour, he just inhaled two shots worth of tequila for you and he was never known to be big on hard liquor. Though his efforts remained in vain, from the corner of his eye he noticed the all too familiar glint of red plastic in your hand a bit too late – there goes your liver.

“YN come on I think that’s enough drinks for tonight-” niki insisted whilst attempting to push you away from the living room coffee table that had turned into a pseudo beer pong station – sticky with alcohol and swarmed by intoxicated laughing.

“Stop you’re so lame,” despite his firm grasp on your wrist you managed to put up a pretty hefty fight before wriggling yourself loose “I had like what- 5 drinks?”

“Plus 6 more at pregraming” karina managed to chime in – and of course that’s when she decides to join in the convo – much to your annoyance her comment completely juxtaposed her pouring tequila down your throat 15 minutes prior. 

Snapping a dirty glare you were about to defend yourself until niki’s voice boomed through your ears.

“11 drinks? Do you want to die of alcohol poisoning or something?” caring as always – god you hated that. 

Of course you knew niki cared about you, it was just – certain times his kindness felt misplaced. Like when you would offhandedly mention liking that cherry glazed lip gloss you saw displayed at a price far too high to be considered, yet the product was already in niki’s hand and checked out before you could even get a say. Or when you would find 10000 won slipped under your wallet after club meetings where you had been incessantly complaining about your growling stomach, a small note attached to it with his toddler like handwriting – laughable but endearing. Or the times you would find yourself flooded in club meetings and activity preparations, somehow niki always managed to lighten the load. You appreciated it really – but you could never get rid of the annoyance that brewed in your gut. 

“Does he do this for all his other friends? I mean we’re close but – there’s a line.”

He had to know the implications of his actions right? Or were you just imagining things you wanted. 

Your friendship always seemed to balance on a tightrope of something you knew wasn't platonic – but if you never acted on it hey, what’s the harm done? Who were you to decline his offers? He’s just kind, he’s nice. He’s just niki. 

This was just another instance of him caring far too much for your liking. It bothered you but you masked it with banter as always. “Dude I’m fine- like really it’s noth-” and suddenly the sickening sensation of warmth trickling up your throat plagued your senses. You made a B-line for the bathroom. 

Quickly following behind niki kneeled down behind you, his hands immediately rushing to hold your hair back as you puked your guts out (again.) and even though vomit was pouring out your throat somehow niki’s fingertips brushing against your cheek overpowered the burning sensation of bile gushing out. 

The warmth of his breath tickled the nape of your neck whilst his other hand reached over to trace circles on your back in attempts to soothe you. You were vomiting your guts out, the least romantic situation one could be in, and you could only focus on niki’s gaze burning into the back of your head. 

Shooting your head up niki reached to wipe your mouth with discarded tissue paper, quietly mumbling under his breath “yeah that’s enough for today…” and for once you could only nod. 

The trip back to his apartment was a blur. You could only really remember the frustration that lingered in his words as he muttered “you’re two years older, why am I the one having to take care of you…” suddenly you were transported back to when you were 6 sitting through your mothers scoldings.

His frustrated pout and furrowed eyebrows however didn’t bring out the same fear your mother did though, you could only giggle thinking about how funny this whole situation was. Looping your arm with his you feigned innocence, putting on your best pout and repeated apologies (you never meant them) until you reached his shabby studio apartment. 

“Stop YN…” his tone unusually firm, you took notice to how he attempted to remove his arms from your grasp. Huh, why did that bother you?

“Wait – are you seriously mad?” you were shocked but in all honesty it wouldn’t be too surprising considering he had cleaned up your messes far too many times to count. Trailing behind him like a puppy you awaited a response whilst he picked through his clothes to find something suitable for you to wear. Your eyes drilled in on his expression, he seemed- uneasy.

“No YN it’s-” sighing out he handed you his worn grey shirt that was five sizes too big and a pair of grey sweatpants that you knew you would have to fold over just for them to barely hang on your hips “you’re just always like this when you’re drunk”

“Like what?”

“Just, insincere.” Now what the hell was that supposed to mean? “Just change we can talk in the morning”

You were in awe. Niki was being uncharacteristically moody and you really couldn’t pinpoint why. A part of you felt annoyed that he even had the audacity to talk about insincerity when none of his actions were ever genuine either. At least you never thought they were. 

Slipping into his oversized clothing that hung over you like a drape you made your way to his bed and laid down beside him as he leaned against the headboard picking aggressively at the loose seams in his shirt. 

“You’re just-” he finally started, still avoiding your gaze though “you get too clingy…” the position you guys were in really didn’t help your case too much either 

“Is that such a bad thing?”

“It’s just, none of this feels right when it’s ingenuine” he said before adjusting himself to lay flat next to her.

“Do you want it to be or something?”

Silence. 

“You know I could honestly say the same thing about you though,” even whilst bickering your hand seemed to find its way to the dip of his collarbones, tracing circles across its smooth exterior “don’t you know what your actions mean?”

“Yeah, I do” 

You could only laugh in disbelief, yeah and he wants to talk about not being genuine.

“You don’t stop me though” his hands found themselves nested in your knotted hair, looping it back and forth between his fingers. He wasn’t wrong, you never did stop him, perhaps it was because you never felt like it was too much of a big deal – or maybe a small part of you hoped he would finally get enough of your oblivion and cross the line. 

Engulfed in silence you could only gaze down at his fingers that were now entangled with yours, his hands previously playing with your locks of hair now adjusted to nest you close to his chest for you to hear his heartbeat. You figured your silence was enough of an answer – it always was. 

Drifting off to sleep you felt the gentle pressure of his lips on the top of your forehead before muttering out that you were probably tired in lieu of a goodnight. 

Somehow it always ended this way, and somehow you’d rather settle for that than an answer.

The cold winter breeze hits y/n’s skin, she was quite literally walking from the village to Castle Dimitrescu. The freezing air seemed to bite and pick at her skin.

The villagers saw y/n get beaten everyday, thiugh they never did anything about it, eventually joining in. Such a shame that y/n’s parents died, she was an orphan for not long.

When y/n was younger she was heavily abused, beaten half to dead almost everyday by other villagers and her parents. So it was normal for her to be obedient and listen. She did tasks with high efficiency and perfection, it was all she knew.

Listen and you don’t get in trouble, don’t and you get beaten.

Over time, y/n would develop selective mutism and mental disorders. Because of these disorders y/n would become dependent on someone unless given orders. It truly was beginning to turn into a problem. So, Eleonor, y/n’s adoptive mother gave her a special coin. With two emblems on the front and back, y/n didn’t quite understand but she knew that if she must make a decision on her own she must flip the coin and decide.

Now, as y/n grows up she becomes this beautiful girl now in her 20s she sparks interest among the villagers, now, many men and women would bow at her feet and plead for her hand in marriage. Y/n, of course, didn’t understand nor did she want to reciprocate. So, she would turn her head to the side and smile politely.

Perhaps, working in Castle Dimitrescu wouldn’t be that unpleasant.

Maybe.

The gigantic door to the Castle slowly slid open, the creaking sent a shiver down y/n’s spine. A few noises came from her side but she paid no attention. Flutters of wings came into y/n’s point of hearing. There was buzzing and cackling. Y/n didn’t quite comprehend what was happening until a blonde girl was in front of her with a wicked smile, the two others giggling and cackling.

“Ooh, what’s this a new toy? You look delicious” the raven haired girl growled licking her lips, Bela pushed her away with a hand slighty.

“You must be the new maiden! Welcome to Castle Dimitrescu! I’m Bela, the red-haired girl is Daniela, and miss hungry over here is Cassandra” Bela grinned, y/n wondered as to why one of the Dimitrescu sister’s was being so nice.

Was it because she was a maiden now?

Daniela looked at y/n happily with a wide smile, “what’s your name?” Dani asked, quite enthusiastically, to Daniela and Cassandra’s surprise y/n didn’t respond. Bela pinched her younger sisters, “did you nit listen to a word Mother had said?!” Bela scolded, she huffed in annoyance, “she can’t talk! Come on, let’s take her to Mother.” Bela exclaimed, obviously irritated with her sisters. Bela had lifted up y/n and the sister’s carried her in fly form to their mother’s chambers

“Mother, your new plaything is here!” Cassandra laughed, earning a smack from Bela. Alcina looked up from the papers and smiled at her daughters, after a few seconds her eyes land on the most gorgeous woman she ever did see. Though, of course, Alcina would never admit that.

Her pride was something no one could take away from her and she refuse to let her guard down. Only her daughters get to see that side of her, only a couple have tried but of course they ended up into scarecrows and wine. Ugh. Mortals.

“Ah, you are so kinds to me, daughters. I was about to get up.” Alcina smiled softly, “Now, run along, me and this maiden have some business to attend.” Of course, the three daughter’s obeyed and erupted into a sawrm of flies buzzing out the room, their cackles still piercing the ears lf anyone near by.

Alcina didn’t waste time to call Melina, the head chamber-maiden to fetch y/n. It seemed as though it was the quickest 3 seconds of her life. Y/n couldn’t help but marvel at the beautiful countess’s face. The head chamber-maiden quickly dragged the girl away, afraid the countess’s temper might run thin. Especially, after all of the incident’s around the castle.

“Melina, guide our new maiden in her quarters then return here. There’s something I wish to discuss with you” Alcina had ordered, it wasn’t aggressive but soft. It made y/n wonder if the lady was as bad as the villagers made her to be.

Quickly, Melina nodded and walked with the silent girl to her chamber, the loud screams and cackles echoed through the castle, though, everyone remained unfazed. Melina had gracefully led y/n to her quarters. The Grand Chamber-Maiden had instructed y/n to stay in her quarters until she is fetched by her or another Maiden sent by her. “Understood?” She stated, firmly, Y/n blinked up at Melina, “Oh, right. I forgot about your…situiation. I suggest you do your best to not get attached to Lady Dimitrescu if she tries anything. And as for your, vocal problems I’ll make sure you’re in good hands, love” She cooed, patting y/n’s back with a loving look on her face. “You know, you are quite the gorgeous girl, dear”

“I wonder…how come you aren’t married with that beautiful face of yours…” She pondered, inspecting your face. She smiled, opening the door to y/n’s chambers.

q made a fake account pretending to be a girl named saylor [her real acc is saylor.steward05 on tiktok] putting her name, face, college, etc. (that's how saylor was dragged into this)

q dragged paige into the discussion by saying that fake acct of saylor was texting paige, and that paige 'replied' saying everything abt q was fake

-> they think this is fake, since paige is on her side-quest hustle rn and likely wouldn't check her message requests from random people

-> they also think that q is attempting to use paige's name to garner support for herself

reaching out to others:

they haven't tried to reach out to anyone else on the team cause they're trying not to involve anyone else

they've attempted to reach out to maryland sheriff's dept (since q is from maryland), and they said they couldn't do anything- they then reached out to uconn's campus police and attempted to file a complaint, nothing has come of it yet

they've attempted to reach out to coaches, nothing has come of it yet

mariah dmed info abt what's happening to paige, she hasn't replied but they don't know if she's seen it cause she's on vacay and allat

-> they're not mad abt it tho cause they know she's busy and that it's also not her responsibility to handle q's nonsense

minors- yeah the fact that this now involves minors has definitely like brought this up to a level TEN… some type of law enforcement definitely needs to be involved at this point.

i think the best thing mariah can do in this situation is remain calm and not spark the flames anymore, don’t give q reasons to mass report people, her and the other victims need to collect all of their evidence and receipts and get it to someone who will know what to do- and if that ends up being the police then that’s what it ends up being.

i definitely agree w you w the stuff about her family, at the end of the day WE DONT KNOW. we don’t know anything, we don’t know what’s true and what’s fake and unless there’s concrete evidence i think everyone following along w the situation needs to take everything with a grain of salt, verify their sources, and listen to multiple perspectives of what’s going on and think CRITICALLY about all of this for just a second.

q is the only person who is responsible for her actions, and she needs to be held accountable for them.

Im acc tweakinf at mt friend because she wanted to have model united nations last yr and i got us to host our first informal conference n got a bunch of ppl to join and she insisted on chairing which i was fine with but after they made an eb board w a bunch of guys and didnt eben offer to include me and she took all credits and now im not running anything and she doesnt tell me anything about her plans for conferences and acts all seceretive w it when i got ppl in our skl to want to try in the first place and i cant tell if im in the wrong for js wanting to know whats up w the conference i feel like i deserve credit for it because it was my idea and ppl did it because i convinced them all she did was judge take all the credit and leave me out?? What in the World is Going On with the Seminoles?

College football is an unpredictable sport; few storylines have been as perplexing and jaw-dropping as the sudden fall from grace of the Florida State Seminoles. Two games into the 2024 season, fans, analysts, and even casual observers are left utterly baffled, wondering: What in the world is going on with the Seminoles?

Just weeks ago, Florida State was riding high, ranked No. 10 in the nation, and poised for a run at the expanded College Football Playoff. Now, after a shocking 28-13 loss to Boston College on Monday night – their second consecutive defeat – the Seminoles find themselves in a 0-2 hole, their playoff dreams evaporating faster than morning dew in the Tallahassee heat.

Yes, the season opener against Georgia Tech in Ireland was disappointing. Still, it was a loss from which many believed Florida State could recover. After all, strange things can happen in overseas games. But Monday night's debacle against Boston College at Doak Campbell Stadium? That was a different beast entirely – a home-field meltdown that has sent shockwaves through the college football world.

"Sick to how this season started," head coach Mike Norvell admitted in the post-game press conference, his voice tinged with a mix of frustration and disbelief. "I failed in preparing the team to be able to go out and respond tonight."

It's a stark admission from a coach who, mere weeks ago, was being hailed as the architect of Florida State's resurgence. Now, he's left to pick up the pieces of a shattered game plan and potentially a shattered season.

The numbers tell a tale so grim it's almost hard to believe. Florida State's vaunted offense, expected to be among the nation's best, was held to a paltry 21 rushing yards for the entire game. Even more shocking, the Seminoles' running backs combined for a mere 26 yards on the ground. Quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei, brought in as a high-profile transfer to elevate the passing game, completed just 21 of 42 passes. While his 272 passing yards and a late touchdown to Kentron Poitier provided a glimmer of hope, it was ultimately too little, too late.

But the offensive woes are just the tip of the iceberg. Multiple NFL scouts had claimed that the Seminoles could boast the nation's best defensive line. Yet, against Boston College, this supposedly elite unit was gashed for over 200 rushing yards. Eagles quarterback Thomas Castellanos orchestrated a balanced attack, throwing for 106 yards and two touchdowns while adding 73 yards on the ground. Running back Treshaun Ward, a thorn in the Seminoles' side all night, racked up 61 receiving yards and 77 rushing yards.

Perhaps the most telling moment came in the third quarter. With Boston College already up 14-6, Castellanos connected with Kye Robichaux for a touchdown that pushed the lead to 21-6. It was a gut punch from which Florida State never fully recovered despite a valiant fourth-quarter effort.

As the final seconds ticked away and Boston College celebrated an improbable victory, the questions began to mount. How could a team with so much promise fall so far, so fast? Is this a case of early-season jitters, or are there deeper, systemic issues in Tallahassee?

The harsh reality is that Florida State's title hopes are effectively over. Once considered contenders, the Seminoles now risk joining the ignominious list of the most overrated preseason programs in college football history. Their path to the College Football Playoff, which seemed manageable with only one preseason top-10 opponent on the schedule, has crumbled beneath their feet. Losses to Georgia Tech and Boston College have not only jeopardized their ACC title aspirations but have essentially eliminated them from CFP contention in what can only be described as one of the most confounding starts in recent memory.

For Boston College head coach Bill O'Brien, the win was a statement of resilience. "I'm very proud of these guys," he said. "To come down here against a team that really in their minds had to have this win, that's a heck of a statement for BC."

Indeed, it was a statement – not just for Boston College, but about the state of Florida State football. As the Seminoles head back to the drawing board, they face tactical challenges and existential questions about the program's identity and resolve.

The road ahead is long, and fortunes can change quickly in college football. But for now, the Florida State faithful are left to wonder: Is this simply a stumble out of the gates or the beginning of a long, painful fall? Can a team that was dominated in nearly every facet of the game – from the trenches to the skill positions – find a way to salvage their season?

One thing is certain – in Tallahassee, the reset button has never looked so tempting. As the Seminoles grapple with their new reality, the college football world watches with bated breath. They wait to see if this storied program can somehow right the ship or if they're destined to become a cautionary tale of preseason hype and regular-season disappointment.
