Sticktober 2023 Day 3: Dirt

blue got too silly with purp. I would render the art but… I like sleeping. A more simple style is easier for me!

AUGH IM SORRY I TRIED. Writing makes me so fucking anxious. >_>

Purple walked along the dirt path. He glanced at the various paintings, statues and buildings presumably made by the colour gang. It was for a little event. ‘Sticktober.’ He’d admit it. It was a cute name.

He stopped in his tracks when he spotted Blue building a carrot farm. Purple took a step back. He came here uninvited and without notice.

Maybe he…… should go back and…

“Oh! Hey Purple!” Blue smiled brightly as he called to Purple. Blue set his axe aside and began to sprint towards the unsuspecting stick figure. Before he knew it, Purple found himself in Blue’s embrace whilst being tackled to the ground. How delightful.

“Hi to you too…” Purple managed to say. “Can you get off…? You’re crushing me here.” Blue moved away, lying by Purple’s side. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to- Are- Are you alright? Are you hurt?” His cheery toned was replaced with concern. “Ah geez, I’m so sorry…”

Purple didn’t respond. His face remained blank he stared into the sky.

“Blue…”

“…what has gotten into you?!” Purple started to laugh uncontrollably. “I mean, I would expect this from Red but you? I mean-“ He gasped for air, coughing a bit. “Sticktober is fun, innit?” Purple smiled. It hurt his cheeks to smile like a total idiot but he didn’t mind it.

“Purple!! I thought you were mad at me! Don’t scare me like that!” Blue giggled nudged him with his elbow. “Yeah, it is fun. I got a tad bit excited.”

“Define ‘a tad bit excited’.”
