I read through the @yuri-is-online's Yutu pokemon au and I had a blurb idea: (AceYuu mentioned)

"Ah! a Piplup! how cute!"

Those were the first words Piplup had ever heard.

When Yuu was 13 unlike the other kids who went to the professors lab to pick out their starter Yuu hatched a Piplup.

Piplup was their little baby and Piplup knew it, soaking up all the love his trainer had for him he had grown quite spoiled if we're being honest.

Piplup had a defect where he couldn’t evolve at all no matter how much training him and Yuu did Piplup just couldn’t.

Oh well it wasn’t really a bad thing that just meant that Yuu could carry and coddle him for the rest of his days! No loss there just because he couldn’t evolve doesn’t mean Piplup couldn’t be strong.

And boy did he enjoy the attention that Yuu gave him. Until the GREMLIN! (Ace) came around and begun stealing Yuu’s attention once they arrived in Twisted Wonderland, dragging them into trouble. Like come on Yuu there are tons of guys that are WAY better than the ginger. But he digresses as long as Yuu was happy he was happy. And he guesses he can get along with Ace as well.

Time went by and it was discovered that there was no way for Yuu to return to their world and would be staying in Twisted wonderland from here on out.

At first Piplup was sad and Yuu was sad as well. But seeing the people around them...maybe things would be ok.

Yuu and Ace got a nice little apartment after they graduated oh and Grim was there too. He could never get along with that cat, fire and water don’t mix you know but he’ll get along with him to make Yuu happy. (but next time he steals his pokepuffs he swears...)

Anyways life was peaceful…and the small family was expecting a baby as well! Piplup was going to make sure that he taught the baby everything he knew! Like bubble beam and water pulse.

But before he knew it that day came. The day those men from the marshals office arrived. Ace was out doing a couple of errands so it was only them. They came because something about Deuce came up. Yuu had told him to keep an eye on the house until they came back. That they would only be gone for a little while and not to fight with Grim but…Yuu never came back

Before he knew it life fell apart, Ace, Deuce and Grim overblotted and Yuu was still missing with no sign of them ever coming back. Almost all his friends were gone...

He found himself in the care of that strange professor the one that would always call Yuu and their friends puppies and every once in a while he would see one of the eel brothers tending to the bar. He desperately missed Yuu, their comforting words when ever Grim or Ace would poke fun at him the delicious snacks that hit the right spot and…he just missed their warmth. It had been so cold without them, he was even missing Ace and Grim as well the once vibrant world had grown so dull and dark… If only he didn't have this dumb defect maybe if he had been able to evolve into Empolion he would have been able to protect Yuu but...he was just stuck as a small and little Piplup. Things seemed hopeless...

Until he met Yutu...

another watercolor painting!! im going through my pokemon sun playthrough as ricky, and this outfit is what i dressed her up in ^_^ i tried to match her band au fashion as much as possible 🫡

realizing tumblr can let me ramble continuously as much as i want so i could talk about my thoughts and my previous pokemon runs too woaw...maybe i’ll post pics of those playthroughs one day, but probably on my main blog instead 🤔

here's ricky's current team where i’m at and what she looks like in game!! i was sooo peeved that twin tails are locked in post game, even if they don’t even look like ricky’s hairstyle at all, i just think she needs some kind of ponytail…i used to have her with straight bangs to imitate her three bangs style, but it kinda looked ugly af… :V

i’m just before vast poni canyon so gummy will soon be the rail gun beetle that ricky deserves ^_^ i decided on a sweets/dessert nickname theme, tho i did consider a norse mythology theme, but i thought she’d be more cutesy in a pokémon au/world where she is not in life threatening stakes.

i want to write out my reasonings for each pokémon pick too, this team isn’t exactly what i had in mind since it’s limited to the sun pokédex, but i’m pretty fond of them!! mostly, i thought she could have a non-dex rotom (but since it’s like this, her rotom dex is definitely named mike), and i also thought she’d have a porygon - but u can only get it post-game and i’d have to deal with trade evolutions o<-<

i also chose pokémon sun as ricky’s game since i headcanon her to be wasian HAHA specifically japanese and american/german - since hawaii is known for its japanese immigrant population (which is also reflected in the game itself), i liked the idea of her having an actual game background of immigrating from kanto

1. alolan raichu - pikachu is the iconic mascot, just like ricky XD alolan raichu shares her love of sweets, and i think lets her identify with being alolan too

2. vikavolt - he’s a rail gun!! ricky should always have fun with guns. i think ricky has an affinity with machines, and vikavolt has gundam aesthetics hehe. his pre evolutions are cute too, which i think ricky would like. notably he’s another electric type, a remnant from when i used to have ricky as an electric type specific trainer, before i decided to diversify types for eo teams. rotom also would’ve been another electric type…😅

3. metagross - another association with machines—it reminds me of gladsheim as well. i like the juxtaposition of this hulking creature made of metal next to ricky too. showing off her cute and cool sides...

its name is ike as a companion to mike, making them fit into the sweets theme LOL

4. wigglytuff - i headcanon that ricky enjoys singing (and is the lead singer in band au) so i wanted a music related pokémon. maybe in universe, she would stay as a jigglypuff?

5. toucannon - also because of gun. i actually hunted a shiny version, bc it looks like the bi pride flag aghdjshfd. i think ricky can be prone to have a temper, matching toucannon's angry look

6. alolan ninetales - ok so i was conflicted bc i wanted an ice type, as a reference to ricky’s cryo sleep lol, and i was also considering vanillite bc ice cream… but its moveset sucks ass!!! sorry!!!! i do like ninetales as an additional reference to her heritage though…i have vanillite in rosa’s hypothetical team too so it wasn’t really meant for ricky in the first place :P

honorable mentions:

i chose litten as her starter since i think she’s a cat person, and also someone who likes buff people……….

vanillite like i mentioned—harder to catch than i thought cause it needs to be snowing for this guy to show up as an sos helper >:0

alolan exeggutor - long long yggdrasil

So I’m wanting to make a lego monkie kid story but idk which idea to use and i was hoping y’all could possibly help me out.

The story will be on my Wattpad and on here.

The ideas are mostly going to be crossovers though so fair warning.

And idk who should be in the love interest, all i know is that sun wukong, macaque and the mayor is going to be in it with the added bonus of the mayor being a yandere for the reader.

The reader will be female, unless I change my mind or something (little more at the bottom of the post.) and the love interest will be male unless some of the stories, if not all be platonic.

Oh! And I’ll be adding more ideas in whenever I think of some more

I’m hoping with the scenarios that i can include everyone so hopefully i do at least alright with it.

I'm sorry if you don't accept asks (if you don't, please ignore this). So I've been writing this fluffy fic about one of my OTPs in a fandom that is 20+ years old. I never post any of my fics, because I've always been quite private about my hobbies and never showed anything to anyone - but now, I kinda feel like I want to post it online? But 1) i'm scared similar plot may be already done before and 2) i'm just kinda shy about it. Like, on one hand, I want to share my work, but on the other hand, I don't want it to be noticed, you feel me? Sorry, just wanted to share

First of all, I'm glad you write stories about your otp & etc. Its very comforting to hear people have fun creating and writing about the things they love :DD

Though, I get it?? When it comes to not wanting to share and being private? That's kinda how I been more of the 'consumer/fan' side of fandoms for long long time, cause I've always been a bit shy with sharing my art and now writing? I also got this HUUUUUGE fear of accidentally copying someone else's idea or creating something that's already been done before. So I REALLYYYY get what you're saying my friend.

Although.. logically. What helped me get over that fear is.. how many times did we try to find the same AU? The same plot? The same tropes? For the same characters we love???

How many fics of "there was only one bed" or "mermaid AUs" or "soulmate AUs" do we see? How many times we found either high school or college AUs? Elemental AUs too? Pokemon? Magic? Space? The fake dating trope? The friends to lovers? Childhood friends? How many times did we want the same angsty fic that ended with the duo hugging or one falls asleep in the other's arms? How many times we wanted roommate AUs or superhero AUs?

Cause personally when I see two people or more create the same AU or use the same tropes, I get so excited. I don't think one is better than the other I just get so happy knowing more of the same AU I'm interested in exists. Also who's stopping you? You could write about your comfort duo or ship or trio or ot3 or anything, even if it's just YOU who likes it. The point of all of this creating is to have fun, isn't it? So have fun???

As long as you dont copy the SAME 100% EXACT thing of another person (like REALLY EXACT like 100% same plot same arc same words same same same) then?? Go off???? Create what you wanna see??

I'm literally in a fandom that possibly has 3 superhero AUs (one is my own wip too lmao) and like... many many modern AUs in another (one is ALSO my own wip pff) Heck even in Legend of Zelda, there are like.. 4 crossover AUs? Or five? With the same idea? All heroes meet and have to face some obstacle or just hang out. Do I love one more than the other? Nah cause you cant compare them. They have similar ideas but they're all their own AU with their own characterizations. One is more lighthearted, one is more serious, one is memey as heck. So on??

It's okay just gush and have fun, create what you want and have fun???? Just??? Create what you want?

(And even if you dont like it later in the future, you always have a chance to drop a wip and discontinue it. It's sad but it's okay to drop things, why let fear stop you from having fun? (HOPE THIS HELPS OUT AKSKED))
