I really should better develop the thh talentswap characters but everytime I think abt them my brain just fixates on Kyoko and Mondo and refuses to think abt anyone else
#rat rambles#talentswap au#my brain occationally lets me think about sayaka or leon but its usually kyoko and mobdo dhdbdhxh#I really need to figure out the scissor system and hiro especially I have oh so little for them#I have some ideas for hiro but nothing concrete#tbh as much as I love the thh cast#Im not great at writing most of them#I have spent a long time thinking abt the dr2 cast#and thanks to v3write Im also very familiar with most of the v3 cast#but I dont have any like... big thh stories#I have a few aus but most of them are more small scale or centered on a small handfull of characters#the exceptions being talentswap abd rpg au ofc#me and my sibling have talked a bit abt them#but we didnt get like.... strong characterisations#I think I might want to rework the thh plot a bit once I have a more concrete idea of what everyones like#I know that I want to keep sayaka chihiro and aoi as survivors at least#but tbh Im not even sure if mukuro fits the antag role well#it might be more appropriate to move chihiro to full time antag rather than just having her be a semi antag ocationally#I still kind of want kyoko to survive but idk if Ill do it

Dec. 30th episode, 8min 4s. Danganronpa act 3 guesses, spoilers under the cut
Could Hifumi the sculptor have faked his own death in order to kill Taka (his rival for Alter Ego’s ‘love’), then taken the “body” away before they got over the shock and realized it was fake? In this scenario, he was attacked and seen by Celeste, disappeared, killed Taka, then showed back up, injured, and asked everyone to leave him in the infirmary. When he was alone he was killed--why didn’t RJ kill Hifumi right off the bat, but came back to finish the job later? Because he was Hifumi’s alibi, created by Hifumi, a pop culture fan who also “had been calling” the character Robo Justice while its initials are RJ. A stretch, but I felt like Mondo was a stretch, and the game’s insane logic definitely could have had something like this go on.
Celeste also seems awfully suspicious in that she’s the one responsible for all the distractions and all the “oh I see him over here! oh, Hifumi’s body is gone!” but she also was upstairs when Hifumi died (or ‘died?’). She has been shown to be a flawless liar (and the ultimate gambler has an ultimate poker face), but students have no incentive to work together and she hasn’t been in the right place at the right time. UNLESS whoever was the killer offered to pay her part of ten million dollars for being a distraction. Could she be working with Hifumi to pull off the ruse (would explain her hanging around with the camera).
And Kyoko (who is not the murderer because she, like Sakura, Hina and Makoto, has an alibi) said there was a 3rd person who stole Alter Ego--not Hifumi or Taka (she might be pulling a Byakuya and causing problems on purpose, but idk why she’d lie about that). The other missing person, who Alter Ego was not watching out for, is Hiro. Dan will be heartbroken if Hiro was the killer in this scenario, but he was my initial guess before my insane Hifumi/Celeste theories. He would have killed both Hifumi and Taka in this scenario because he saw them as threats to Alter Ego, who he has some kind of relationship with or attachment to.
Or someone could have done it for the money. These are my ideas before seeing any additional clues--Celeste JUST said Hifumi’s body was gone. I’ll be adding to the post when my ideas change because I like to look back and see how wrong (or right) I was lmao. My ideas get more insane as this game gets more insane so we’ll just see how this goes
EDIT 22:47
Arin my LOVE could you please check the locker in the rec room which seemed very suspicious and important when you first looked at it several episodes ago
Also yeah in fitting with my insane theory Celeste could have called them down to distract them while Hifumi ran up to hide Taka’s body. Hiro is a red herring like Byakuya was last case, there is NO WAY the game would give you the answer like that. Hifumi may have just been laying there pretending to be dead since there’s no drag marks for his body while there were for Taka’s (thanks Dan for spotting that), and because his body was ‘moved’ so quickly, but I think there was some way they confirmed that he didn’t have a heartbeat? OH IT WAS THE BODY DISCOVERY ANNOUNCEMENT. So either that really was Hifumi’s dead body, or two people discovered Taka right before that announcement played (Kyoko and Hiro are fucking WHERE at this point???). That’s a real problem that the body discovery announcement played BUT the fact that the game focused in on it and explained it again makes me think that yeah just maybe it wasn’t for Hifumi. Also it didn’t play right when they discovered him, I think they had a little discussion before Monokuma came on. This one’s a stumper though.
There’s probably much more to it than this theory because the trials always add huge convoluted twists that I couldn’t have guessed lmao
Also if Hiro shows up like “ahhh sorry I slept innnn” I’m losing my shit. What’s up with Alter Ego disappearing though?
EDIT after 12/30 episode
Oh I truly HATE waiting for the next episode. Some new ideas though: Hiro is definitely NOT the killer. Hifumi is suspicious as FUCK and nothing concrete has really come up to contradict my initial theory yet. Dan noticed that the hammers were missing, obviously taken and painted, so that’s another point for Hifumi who makes models and shit all the time and was initially hanging out in the art room. New theory about who took Alter Ego: Hifumi in a mask he made (RJ?).
What I cannot figure out is the body discovery announcements. A new one played when they all got into the repository; was that the discovery of Taka’s body? Didn’t several people initially discover him? And NO announcement played, if I remember correctly. Okay, so that makes sense if he was the body the first announcement played for (Monokuma said he would wait on it though so maybe he decided not to). Hifumi wasn’t dead the first time anyway, since he magically woke up in the repository. Maybe the announcement plays again when they REdiscover a body? But aaaasdfasdjlfkasdf didn’t Celeste and Byakuya (and Sakura and Hina) already rediscover Taka? I dunno that Celeste would count since she may know about it, but I can’t think of any other reason for the announcement to play only when Makoto got there. Was Taka not dead yet when they first found him? I have a lot of questions about the body discovery announcements and I know nobody is reading this but if somehow my other guesses are miraculously correct this should be the point at which you realize that I truly have never played this game
EDIT 16:48 12/31 episode
I think I'm actually right??? And the bodies were discovered at the same time which explains the announcement. Celeste locked and unlocked the repository door. Hifumi got up and walked himself everywhere, but they had to use the dolly for Taka. I'm not sure who actually came up with this, but it may have been Celeste. She's using Hifumi's love of Alter Ego to get him to help. Being content at the school may have been an act, or she may just want ten million dollars. She's probably who Monokuma called the "true blackened."
EDIT after 12/31 episode
Okay Hifumi locked the door. The grumps are catching on that Hifumi may not be innocent here. I strongly suspect that Celeste was the brains of the operation and was the distraction so Hifumi could move around so much. He used the blood packets on himself which is nasty. Very obvious that he's not dead. Too obvious for him to be the blackened. It's Celeste. Hifumi may have killed Taka but it's Celeste. And we're framing Hiro but the handwriting isn't gonna match. I am having so much fun.

Of Rocks and Robots Ch. 1 - The Arrival
“Soon, Dad.”
The hoarse, raspy voice broke the eerie silence that permeated the dark chamber, and Varian startled to hear himself speak. It was the first time he had spoken out loud in days and his own voice sounded weird and unnatural to him, caked with emotion.
The young boy glanced around the ruins of where he stood, shivering from more than just the morning chill as his eyes swept past broken timbers, rubble, and cobwebs. He could see through a hole in one wall out to the abandoned farmland and deserted huts that made up the village he had once called home, and no matter where he turned black pointy rocks of all sizes punctured the ground. A grim reminder of what had lead to such desolation.
Finally his gaze settled back to the object that he had first spoken to. A towering stalagmite made from amber stood before him. Enclosed within the golden resin was the figure of a man; standing tall, right arm reaching upwards, clasping what looked to be a note, and his face frozen; eyes closed in, what Varian thought was, pain. He stretched out his own hand to touch that face, but as so many times before, it only came to rest on the cold, unyielding, translucent stone.
Varian blinked back tears as he gazed up at his father, memories flooding his mind. Painful memories; the day of the accident, fighting his way through a snowstorm, the castle door slamming in his face, the endless weeks of isolation and failed experiments, the rage he felt while battling both his inner demons and the uncaring kingdom that abandoned him, the cold emptiness while lying on the dungeon floor, and most recently, the prison break that brought him back to where he began.
For upon acquiring his freedom, and being appointed the new Royal Adviser by the leader of the Saporians, the architects of his escape, Varian hit upon the idea of raiding the castle’s innermost vault. The precious treasure that it once held was no longer there, having been stolen by Varian himself, but the room still stored vast amounts of books and scrolls containing knowledge of sages past. Most importantly the notes of the famed alchemist Demanitus.
Varian had studied Demanitus work before, reverse engineering the ancient scientist’s deadly and near indestructible automatons for his own nefarious purposes. Those proved to be less than sufficient in the end and he hoped his newest discovery would be more successful.
His reminiscing was broken by a second sound, a small chittering noise coming from his work desk in the corner of the room. Distracted, he looked towards the creature that made it. Sitting back on his hind-legs on top of the desk was a rotund raccoon who looked expectantly at him. Varian gave his pet a warm but weary smile.
“Hello, Ruddiger.” he said softly, his voice still sounding rough to his ears due to its lack of use. He walked over the tamed raccoon and gave it an affectionate scratch behind the ears who nuzzled his hand in response. He then turned his attention to the assemblage of wires, gears, and levers that he had cobbled together over the last three days.
The machine stood on a tripod of metal legs next to the desk and vaguely looked like a drill. Only the “drill” part was a smooth metal cone with a glass orb attached to the tip and two antenna stuck out from either end at the back. Its intended use was to originally create portals to other worlds, according to the blueprints he had found amongst the old alchemist’s writings. Varian hoped that with his added adjustments he could configure the portal into a short range teleportation device. The amber that held his father was unbreakable. No amount of force could shatter the structure, but a portal could theoretically bypass the resin and allow his father out.
Varian took a steadying breath and tried to push out any expectations he held in his mind. He’d known the sting of disappointment far too many times to get his hopes up now. All he could do was try and see what would happen.
He gathered up his notebook, stuffed Demanitus’s papers and blueprints in between its pages, and having tied the cord around to hold it altogether, placed the journal inside his inner coat pocket. So should anything go wrong, like say a fire from an explosion, then the notes would already be on his person and kept safe so long that he was. He also scooped up his loyal companion and placed the raccoon upon his shoulders for similar reasons.
“Ready, Ruddiger?” he asked his pet, “‘Cause here we go.” He walked behind the machine, twisted some dials, and with the pull of a lever turned the device on.
------------------------
“Nothing can stop me now! Bwahahaha!”
Maniacal laughter emitted from the small man standing on top of the building. He was short in stature with light pink hair and was wearing a tacky purple suit. In his hand he held a simple remote and beside him stood a large metal ring held up by a framework of support beams attached to a steel platform.
A young Hiro Hamada stared at the machine transfixed; unpleasant memories flashing through his mind; the heat of the fire, his brother’s funeral, the lonely days spent in the room they once shared, the blinding hate he felt when facing the masked attacker that murdered his brother, and the cold emptiness of the void enveloping him as he entered a machine not dissimilar from the one standing before him now.
He was snapped out of his reprieve by a voice coming through the intercom in his helmet.
“How did Mr. Sparkles get ahold of Keri’s portal tech? I thought it was all destroyed.” Hiro’s friend Wasabi asked.
“It must be an old prototype; one that was abandoned in favor of the actual portals we faced later on.” Hiro replied back through the intercom to the rest of his friends.
After his brother‘s, Tadashi’s, death, Hiro and his friends had formed a superhero team to stop his murderer, using technology that they developed along with a robot Tadashi had built himself called Baymax. Even after having defeated the villain called Yokai, and his dangerous portals, they continued on thwarting other evil schemes pursued by other bad guys. One such villain, the aforementioned Mr. Sparkles, had apparently stolen the older tech and had set up shop with it in the middle of downtown San Fansokyo. Though to what ends was anybody’s guess.
“And if it was abandoned,” Hiro continued on, "then it’s probably even less stable than those were, so we have to make sure he doesn’t turn it on. Otherwise there’s no telling what it may do.”
He signaled for the team to move in and surround the villain but it was too late. With a gleam in his eye Mr. Sparkles pressed the button on the remote and the portal roared to life.
------------------------
Varian was having difficulty holding onto the machine. The portal that had appeared before him hung in the air sucking everything into it. Like a flaming circle, it shifted and writhed with green energy licking the sides and a crackling static could barely be heard over the wind whipping past his ears.
“Hold on, Ruddiger!” He yelled to the raccoon perched upon his shoulders. But no sooner did the words leave his mouth did the wind pickup speed and Varian found himself lifted from the ground and hurling towards the portal itself.
------------------------
Something was clearly wrong. The portal that Mr. Sparkles had switched on was bathed in a glowing green energy, that eerily looked like lightning, and a staticky sound could be heard coming from it.
“Look out it’s going to blow!” Yelled Fred, and “blow” it did. An explosion erupted from the machine knocking everyone back and sending rubble and debris down to the street below.
Everyone lay prone on the ground surrounded by twisted metal, concrete, and smoke. A large chunk of the roof of the building over head was blown away and nothing remained of the portal except for scrap.
Hiro recovered from the blast, hoisted himself up on his elbows, and scanned the destruction around him. He couldn’t see any sign of Mr. Sparkles but he did see his various friends also slowly sitting up.
“Everyone OK? Sound off.” Hiro asked.
“I’m Ok.” that was Gogo.
“I’m alright too” said Honey Lemon.
“Same here” replied Wasabi.
“I am also undamaged” came Baymax’s voice from behind him.
“That’s good… wait where’s Fred?”
As if in response to this query Hiro heard a scream come from across the way and Fred came running towards them.
“It’s an alien!” He yelled. He rushed over to grab Wasabi and began to excitingly describe the creature that he had seen. “Bugged eyed, dripping fangs, red claws, and it was missing a nose I think.”
“Fred, there is no such things as aliens.” Wasabi told him exasperatedly.
“Not unless it came through an inter-dimensional portal.” Fred retorted, "Gasp! There it is!”
Through the smoke they could make out the shape of something. It looked humanoid, bipedal, and with comically large eyes if the silhouette was to be believed.
They heard a voice call out from the smoke. "Ruddiger? Ruddiger?!"
Fred broke away from the rest of the group and slowly walked to meet the thing.
“We. Mean. You. No. Harm. We. Come. In. Peace.” He paused and held his hands up and out to signify he didn’t want to fight. “Do. You. Speak. English?”
“I speak a lot of languages” Was the annoyed reply.
The wind blew the smoke away getting a clear view of the “creature”. It was no alien but in fact a person. The bug eyes being a pair goggles, the red claws merely gloves, and the dripping fangs nothing more than a quirky design on a bandanna that obscured their face.
The person stepped forward and removed the bandanna and goggles revealing a boy underneath. He couldn’t have been much older than Hiro himself. He had thick black hair, with a blue streak in his bangs and large piercing blue eyes to match. He was dressed oddly. In addition to the goggles and bandanna, he wore a pair of baggy pants, a waistcoat, and a frock coat over that. His gloves had dials on the wrists and his boots had buttons rather than shoelaces. Around his waist was strapped various belts and from them hung multi-colored orbs that didn’t look dissimilar to Honey Lemon’s chimballs. He was covered in dust and dirt from the explosion and a black sooty smear streaked across the bottom half of his face.
The boy squinted his eyes in distrust and moved to unclip one of the balls hanging from his belt. He held it out in front of him and readjusted his stance to a defensive one.
“Where am I and who are you?” He asked. There was an edge to his voice and his eyes darted back and forth between the group and the cityscape behind them. It was clear he was lost and scared and putting up a brave front to try and hide it.
Hiro stepped forward to try and deescalate the situation, but no sooner did he move then sirens were heard in the distance. Cop cars came barreling down the road towards them, lights flashing. They quickly pulled to a stop in front of the heroes. The boy, startled by this new development, turned to face the noise. He threw the ball in his hand to the ground and from it poured a purple fog of smoke.
Using the fog as a cover Hiro signaled to his team to disperse. He hopped onto Baymax’s back and the robot turned on his jet pack. Still floating in the air, the robot then picked up Wasabi while Honey Lemon and Gogo skated away. Hiro nodded to Fred to grab the boy. He saluted his acknowledgement to Hiro and scooped the stranger up in his arms, bounding away before the smoke could clear.
------------------------
Chief Officer Cruz peered out through the purple fog to the debris filled street but no sign of anyone, hero nor villain alike, could be seen. He ordered his men to shine a light onto the scene of the crime and to search the area for the offending miscreants who caused the destruction. All that was found was a single raccoon. It picked up a piece of the debris in its mouth and then scampered away into a back alley. Cruz sighed in frustration and told his officers to pack it up for the night after sectioning off the road.
------------------------
“Oh, now that’s….that’s high up.” Varian gulped as he looked down from the dizzying height at the top of the building where the “monster” had deposited him. He had never considered himself afraid of heights before but the building was as tall as a small mountain and the days events, including the stomach lurching ride to the top, was getting to him.
“Oh don’t I know it. Just don’t look down. It makes things easier.” A not unkind voice told him. He turned to see who was addressing him and was faced with six armored figures standing before him. They were various heights and builds and each wore a set of armor that was uniquely modeled and highlighted with its own different color. One such suit was even crafted to look like a three eyed monster and Varian recognized it as the creature that he had first met; the one that had carted him away to way up here when the strange vehicles with flashing lights had arrived. They vaguely reminded Varian of the knights from storybooks he use to read as a kid. All decked out in shining metal and off to battle dragons and rescue damsels in distress. But life wasn’t like a storybook and Varian didn’t trust easily.
“Who are you?” He asked suspiciously.
The one dressed as a monster stood tall, flexed his arms, and proudly proclaimed “We’re Big Hero Six!”
He then paused for dramatic effect, clearly waiting for Varian to respond with either praise or recognition. But Varian could only stare blankly at him, confused as ever. Most of the other knights shook their heads in exasperation, and after a moment or two of awkward silence, the smallest knight stepped forward, patted the “monster” on the back encouragingly, and then removed his helmet. It was a small boy not much younger than Varian himself. He had a shock of messy black hair and large almond brown eyes. He smiled kindly at Varian and then introduced himself.
“I’m Hiro and these are my friends” He turned to gesture at each knight as he rattled off their names. “This is Baymax”
“Hello” The tallest and largest of the knights said in a lilted voice. He brought his hand up and proceeded to stiffly move it in a small circular motion. Varian repeated the wave, assuming it was a customary form of greeting.
“Gogo”
Gogo, as she was called, responded by chewing on some pink candy, that looked to be like taffy, blew it into a bubble form, popped the bubble with her mouth before saying, “Hi”, and then proceeded to chew on the confectionery once more. She was the second shortest of the knights and stood on large yellow disks while having two more of those same disks attached to her wrists.
“You’ve met Fred”
Fred was the aforementioned monster suited knight. He flipped back the helmet of his armor revealing a blonde haired young man probably only a year or two older than Varian himself. “Hey!” he enthusiastically said before returning the helmet back to its proper position.
“This is Honey Lemon”
Honey Lemon was a tall woman dressed in pink armor and she carried a pink purse that had attached to its strap small multi-colored balls that reminded Varian of the alchemy balls he wore currently around his own waist. She was all smiles and had long red hair that peaked out from underneath her pink helmet and visor.
“Please to meet you” she said in a light and airy voice.
“And Wasabi”
“How ya doing?” asked last of the knights and Varian recognized his voice as the one that had given him the advice about not looking down. He was decked out in green armor and had broad shoulders. While not as large as the knight called Baymax, who was like a small giant, Wasabi was clearly a tall buff guy who looked to be able to hold his own in a brawl.
Varian just stood for a few moments looking at the band of warriors, processing everything. They in turn stared expectantly at him and that is when he remembered his manners.
“I’m Varian.” He said and with introductions seemingly out of the way continued on with his line of questioning. “So where am I?”
“You’re in San Fransokyo” The smallest knight said, Hiro, wasn’t it?
“Where’s that?”
The younger boy seemed to be surprised by that question. “In .. America?” he hesitantly offered up.
“The Americas!?” Varian exploded back. “No! noooo, no, no, no, no. I overshot! How am I supposed to get back to my dad now?” He began to pace back and forth agitated. Unbeknownst to him, as he ranted, the knights shared a couple of confused looks among themselves.
“Overshot?” asked the green knight.
“Yes, I was working on a short range teleportation device when it must have malfunctioned and deposited me here on the other side of the ocean.” Varian explained irritated.
“Well, maybe we can help?” Hiro continued, “Where are you from?”
“Corona”
More confused stares.
“And where’s that?”
“Europe” Varian said less assuredly.
“I have researched my databases for, Corona, and have not found any matches” the tallest knight said. His voice was clipped and unnatural sounding to Varian’s ears and he was growing ever increasingly more uneasy with the weird situation he found himself in.
The boy, Hiro, cradled his chin in thought for a moment and then responded.
“I think you may be a little farther from home then just across the ocean.” He said slowly, carefully, trying not to upset the alchemist. “I think you may have crossed a dimensional barrier.”
Varian turned away from them upon hearing this and looked out across the cityscape displayed before him as the enormity of what the other boy said begin to weigh upon Varian’s mind. As far as the eye could see there were tall spires and metal towers, all taller than the tallest castle rooftop and flashing with a multitude of lights. Large decorative balloons that looked like giant lanterns hung in place over the rooftops and off in the distance there looked to be large bridge, also lit up against the starless night sky. Strange sounds filtered up from the streets below and into Varian’s ears reminding him just how far from home he was.
“What am I going to do?” He heart-brokenly whispered. Varian had known despair before, but looking out upon that sea of metal and glass he had never felt more lost and defeated.
“Well,” the young knight continued, "we were stopping a thief from getting away with a prototype portal device. He turned it on and it must have connected with your teleportation device, bringing you here. Unfortunately it overloaded, there’s nothing left. But if you’re capable of rebuilding your first device, then we might can get you the supplies to do so, and I could talk to the owner of the original portal to see if he has any plans or blueprints left that you could work off of.”
Varian thought this plan over and against his better judgment began to have a sliver of hope again. He still had Demantius’s plans and his own personal notes tucked away inside his breast pocket and this world seemed to be highly advanced. Surely there was something, some technological wonder, that might help. At the very least it couldn’t hurt to try.
“Alright” Varian agreed.
“Great! Now the best way to get you some supplies would be from our school, SFIT, but Professor Granville won’t be back from spring break until Monday. So we gotta find a place for you to stay until then.”
“What about our headquarters?”
“Naw, Roddy is redoing the plumbing remember? It won’t be ready for a week. Which means no cool superhero hangout for a whole week!”
“Well don’t look at us. Honey Lemon and I are cramped up in our studio apartment as is.”
“Well I can’t take him home. What would Aunt Cass say if she caught me sneaking a stranger into the house at two in the morning? Wasabi, didn’t your roommate graduate this semester?”
“Yeah, and he took his bed with him when he moved out of the dorm. What about you Mr. I-live-in-a-literal-mansion?”
“I told you, my parents require a three-year background check for overnight guests. He’s from another world. He has no records.”
Varian listened in on this exchange, lost as to what everyone talking about. Headquarters, schools, mansions, roommates; he had no frame of reference for anything all he knew was that they were struggling to find him a place to stay.
“It’s ok. I can sleep outside,” Varian interjected helpfully, not wanting to be a burden and not wanting to cause any arguments.
“What? No!” They all said at once, horrified, their debate coming to an abrupt end. Varian was taken aback by the ferocity with which they had turned his idea down and began to wonder what he could have possibly said that so offended them.
“Dude, we’re not letting you sleep outside!” the green knight, Wasabi said, aghast that he would ever suggest such a thing. Varian just stared blankly at him, confused as to why that seemed so awful. Wasabi sighed in exasperation and then took a deep breath as if coming to a decision and then continued. “Look you are more than welcome to stay the night at my place, as long as you don’t mind sleeping on the sofa that is.”
Varian didn’t mind at all. In fact a sofa sounded quite comfortable compared to the cold hard ground or the wooden cot of the jail cell that he had been used to for the past year or so. Though he left this last part unsaid.
“Great, so now that’s settled …,” the boy Hiro started to walk up to the tall knight called Baymax. He hopped up on the others back and the two wings on the side of his amour ignited with flame and propelled both of them upwards. “We can meet up for breakfast at the Lucky Cat tomorrow and in the meantime I’ll gather up everything I can on the portals.”
“Whoa!” Varian stared up at the flying armored figures in breathless awe as they soared away. His attention was diverted when the pink knight, Honey Lemon, walked forward. She pressed some buttons on the side of her purse and out popped a purple ball into the palm of her hand. It looked just like the one Varian had held earlier, only he assumed it did something different. She stopped beside him next to the edge of the rooftop, turned to give him a big smile, and then threw the ball down to the ground below. From the ball sprung a crystallized substance that created what looked like a blue slide from the top of rooftop to the ground below.
“Acetic acid?” Varian questioned, happy to show off his knowledge. Honey Lemon nodded enthusiastically as a way of an answer and then jumped on to the slide and surfed down to the ground, whooping loudly with joy as she went. The yellow knight, Gogo, followed after her and the monster suited knight, Fred, began to bound away, leaping across the buildings in large jumps.
Varian moved to the slide himself and hopped on the same as the other two girls had done. He turned around when he noticed that the green knight, Wasabi, was still standing around. He looked questioningly at him, wondering what fantastical way he may depart.
“I’ll take the elevator, thanks.” Wasabi replied.
Varian didn’t know what an elevator was, but he didn’t want to pursue the question and be made to look the fool, so he just shrugged his shoulders and then taking a steadying breath slid down the slide himself, also whooping in nervous exhilaration as he went.
------------------------
From another rooftop across the way, Mr. Sparkles, sat watching the heroes depart. He had his hands around his eyes in mock binoculars in order to focus his attention on the newcomer that had joined them. As the boy slid down the makeshift slide and out of sight, the villain removed his hands from his face and pulled out a cellphone from his pocket. He quickly dialed a number and waited for the person on the other end to pick up.
“Hey boss, bad news about the portal you had me swipe, but before you get mad, there’s been some, shall we say, new developments that I think you might be interested in.” He chuckled in his throat after saying this. The stranger that had just arrived was going to change the game and it was bound to be an entertaining show if nothing else.

Black Sun Tale | Bread and Water
Remember that this is only a first draft with minor edits, but have fun reading! Comments and reception is greatly appreciated! --- “What I came up with today? Uh…,” Flipped some pages, “I came up with two new characters earlier?”
The city streets screeched with traffic noise and crowds chattering, smoke surrounding the air with a bar across the avenue.
“Gabriel’s story’s kinda sad. He killed this guy named Wren, but they were like brothers.”
Off between two aged buildings, an alleyway poked out with barely any notice.
“He hates Zero- or Hiro now though. He’s the reason why Wren went crazy.”
The interior of the alley carried a scattered mess of blankets, journals, calendars, along with other miscellaneous things. Though a single journal stuck to being held, firm by the grasps of a boy.
His sickly pale skin complemented his unkempt and grimy black hair. While his twig body shivered by the gentle cold. His boney fingers pointed at drawings from his one of many journals towards the girl next to him. “That’s Gabe when he got mad at Dannie after finding out.” His voice rasped.
Observing the girl’s reaction, her expression perked to something of confusion. “How did Wren and Gabe get to that situation though?”
He rolled his eyes to the side. “I haven’t gotten that much into the backstory. But all I know is that they both got into a mess like Evie or Lucia.” Blinked twice. “It’s just that while Evie was mad at becoming a slave, Gabriel was mad because his entire life’s purpose was taken away from him… and he’s in denial about it being kinda his fault too.”
Her cocoa hair blocked the faces she made from the boy’s slouched position on the ground. However, she chirped up quickly enough. “Ayu, I’m really digging Gabriel right now.”
“Really,” Ayu questioned, sitting back up a little the process. “I thought he was kinda basic.”
“Yeah,” she turned her floor seat towards him, revealing her fair complexion made out of light makeup. “From what you told me so far. I’m guessing he’s being ignorant of his past mistakes completely and letting out all his anger to someone else, right? At least from what I can tell in this picture.”
“I guess so?”
“Okay, I didn’t screw up on reading the comic panel,” making a small clap with her hands. “That can be realistic if you do it right, but you can also mix in a theme with that-”
“Annette. No,” Ayu interrupted her. “When you talk about ‘theme’ and that stuff, I get more of a headache than every other minute of life,” he groaned.
“Do you want me to get you some ibuprofens?”
“I’m fine.”
Annette nodded. “Well other than that, I still feel bad for Hiro,” she pouted.
Ayu lifted a brow and eyed her. “He’s the one who trapped ten kids in a death maze.”
“But he’s trying to get better!”
He scoffed, “He still did bad things, that’s why Evie treated him like shit afterwards.”
“You’re the one giving him a redemption arc though?”
“I’m just trying to stay close to the original idea.” Ayu closed the book and chuck it to the side. “Even if I don’t really believe in it.”
Annette’s lips twitched. “He’s just trying to be a better person than before…”
“He was still a dick. Out of anything, you should be feeling bad for Wren.”
“How so?”
Ayu set his arms back. “He was lied to for most of his life and he only got killed in the end for having a different opinion, pretty much.”
“So, he’s pretty much a pity party?” Annette eyed him. Ayu already knew what she was telling with her expression.
“No. He just go fucked over too much because of both Gabriel and Zero.”
Annette rolled a shoulder, pulling back her hair in the process. “I guess I like all of them, anyways. I’m just still hoping you can pull it off well.” Her lashes fluttered in the dim lights. “Did you come up with Gabriel and Wren from your dreams again?”
Ayu hummed. “Kinda. I had a random dream last night where a guy shoots another guy with an arrow but gets sad about it. That’s how I got Wren’s death.”
“Anything else from it?”
“There was a bit more, but it’s blurry.”
“Any others dream while I haven’t been here,” She asked.
Ayu blinked. “I just have that, some girl screwing herself over and getting her friend dead, then nothing.”
Annette hesitated with her words. “No dreams of Lillie?”
Ayu paused, seeing Annette flinch from her own question. He buried his hands in his hoodie pockets and looked down. “… None of those.”
She apologized with her eyes narrowed. The area went silent for the two. A minute? Two? Ayu couldn’t tell. He could barely count with patience.
“How long have you been here?”
“Huh? About an hour, I think…” She brought her phone to her view, checking the time. “God, we spent a lot of time goofing off.”
“You have homework, don’t you? You should go home, school’s tomorrow anyways.”
“… Right.” Annette stood up, her tall figure looming before Ayu. A second of standing still, she face-palmed herself. “Oh god, I have three projects to do.”
“Then get on to it,” Ayu joked.
“Yeah, yeah.” Annette grabbed back her already cleaned up board game and binder. “I’ll see you another time then.”
Before taking a turn back home, a “Bye” could be heard quietly over a car honking.
Ayu studied the outside of the alleyway in silence. Every second brought a new face passing by, and it brought the reminder that no one noticed him staring. A child, a couple, a group of teens, they all went their own ways, not even taking a glance of something that’s nonexistent for them.
The boy groaned, turning back and plopping his head to a pillow, gifted by Annette. As he slammed his body to the ground, the rough concrete hit him back. He winced like every other day when he fell over from exhaustion. Though, the routine of his ‘home’ was redundant.
He muttered in his own silence, “Ow.”
At least he had a pillow unlike the first two years of four when living in the alleyway.
Laying down, still and blank, Ayu sighed and grabbed his journal from the side again. He flipped through the thin paper, skimming past the art he made, and stopped at the next blank page. He crawled to grab the pencil he left on the other side of the alley earlier in the day, and crawled back to his pillow to write:
October 21st 201X
Came up with new caracters today, dont know what to do
Did noting else today, like usuel
I got a litle mad at Annette, probly was a bad idea
No monsters, No Akeldama
As Ayu moved his arms to store the book away, a voice halted him.
“Looks like you’ll be having an insipid time again.”
Ayu jumped, sitting immediately and twisting his head around. Finding nothing, he sighed, “Speak of the Devil…” He then crossed out the note of ‘No Akeldama’ for the day.
“Did you miss me from last time?”
Ayu leaned back to the rigid wall, conversing with the voice ringing across his head. “Just tell me what the hell is going on,” he groaned.
“Oh child, you won’t be getting that anytime soon for sure,” The voice mocked him.
“You’ve been telling that to me for how long?”
“I don’t know in all honestly, I’ve lost track of time after my first hundred years.”
Ayu leered at nothing. “Four years, Akeldama. Four years.”
“Ah right, you’re twelve now, correct?”
“Yeah. Turned twelve last June.”
“Well, aside from that, have you met any new people?”
Ayu sighed. “I haven’t, luckily.”
“What a pity,” Akeldama sneered, “You were the kid that pouted about being lonely, yet once you get a friend, you don’t even want another one anymore.”
“Shut up.”
“You’re just a greedy brat.”
“What do you want now Akeldama?” Ayu’s mind raced quickly, his heart beating rapidly.
“I was simply here to check if you were the same as before, which you are by the way,” he muttered. “Though I’m also here for something else on the matter of you.”
“Dear god, what now?”
“Funny calling me ‘god’,” he chuckled, “but I think you’ll soon meet somebody you’ll get along with.”
“Wait…,” Ayu murmured. His eyes widened. “Akeldama don’t tell me-”
“You’ll be having fun for the next few months. I promise,” he reassured him.
“You fucker,” Ayu yelled, slamming his fists onto the hard ground. Though, he brought both of them up immediately from the pain, gasping at the impact of the floor cracking. He held both tightly against one another as they both burned.
“God, damn it Akeldama…”
No reply.
Ayu placed his head down into his knees and closed his eyes. His boney joints pressed against his forehead. Two deep breaths, then hold.
He pulled his head back after seconds, groaning, “Why did I decide to go through with this…?”
Ayu’s eyes flutter back open as his stomach made a painful growl.
“Right…” He clicked against his chapped lips. “When was the last time I ate?”
The growl reminded him of the stomach pain from recent days, aching as he puckered. The pain bothered him, but Annette already left to his dismay.
“I need to get food now then,” he muttered to himself.
He hopped up from his sitting position, his bone-thin legs freezing up from the cold. Exiting the alleyway, Ayu turned to the grocery store route.
He pulled up his hoodie quickly, his tired eyes being protected from the soft light. And he ventured out to treat himself to food and water rations.
*
A jug of water and a bag of bread, Ayu repeated to himself multiple times.
The shop held multiple items to Ayu’s attention. Aisles carried shiny toys, colorful pencils and journals, to junk food and candy. Ayu stared at the chips bar, slurping up the slight drool dripping out of him. He shook his head. Bread and water. Bread and water.
How long had it been for the boy to have a nice meal? When was the last time he had the sweets he loved?
Bread and water.
When was his last chip binge? His coloring book sessions and playtime?
Stop being a bitch and get what you need already. He scolded in his head.
He dashed to an unfamiliar aisle so his mind wouldn’t get dragged elsewhere. Stacks and piles of paper towels and toilet paper surrounded him through his short walk to the bakery. His head bobbed in a sigh that he didn’t need anything of such thanks to shop bathrooms and recreation center showers.
However, as soon as he exited the aisle, aromas of pastries and baked goods filled his senses. He ignored it since the shop’s goods were usually too sweet for him despite his tooth. Walking down, he read through the brands of bread, squinted his eyes to spell and read out some words himself. It was only until his found a decent bag of bread rolls did he go off to the drinks section.
The sodas and fizzy pops caught eyes of most, though Ayu’s tongue had more of a distaste for it. He turned from the bright and dazzling colors to the row of water jugs. His memory of measurements buzzed in his mind, though not enough to remember how much a liter was compared to a gallon.
After staring, his mind boggling on which was which, Ayu gave up and choose which one seemed like the largest.
Ayu ended up carrying the bread rolls in one hand and the three-gallon jug of water with the other by his stick arms. He walked out of the aisle, closing in on the exit.
He stepped with hesitant feet. His head twisted and turned to assure nobody near him. A single bump from someone else and he could be done for the day.
He swept through the cashiers. His scattered gaze wandered through all of them left and right. But in a single heartbeat, his body already went passed them unlike his mind.
Ayu sighed and took a step towards the store exit. His guilt cultivated him like every other time he’s done this. It’s better for me. Even if I don’t actually need it-
A grip of a hand pulled him back from leaving. Ayu’s heart froze as his breath started to stutter immediately. He turned slowly, and echo of a voice ringing loudly to him. I’m fucked.
“Hey…” He saw the face of the one who grabbed him by the arm. He was around the same age as him, younger maybe, but shorter for sure. “Hey…” His light brown skin shined by the store’s lights along with the freckles dotted around his nose and cheeks. While his soft green eyes glared at him in confusion. His dark red hair was also a first for Ayu to see-
“Hey!” the kid repeated himself. Ayu blinked spastically, his breathing still frigid. “What are you doing with that?”

Dialectical method. honey lemon/gogo tomago. big hero 6.
summary: In social sciences, there was something called the dialectic method, it tried to explain how change occurred. Basically, an idea, called a thesis, eventually finds an opposing one, called antithesis, these conflicting ideas reconcile to form a synthesis, a new idea that becomes the new thesis. And in Hiro’s “humble” scientific opinion, that was exactly what was happening with Honey Lemon and GoGo’s relationship.
n/a: pre-relationship, mutual pining, unresolved romantic tension, oblivious geniuses, femslashfeb.
It occurred subtly, so much that they had to wait for GoGo and Honey Lemon to realized it for themselves and say it out loud to know about it.
Baymax actually kinda gave Hiro the answer before anyone could know what it really meant. Even to the two people involved.
It had been little at first, things that got under the radar because they could be excused with other things.
Like how GoGo was the first one to jump when Honey Lemon was in danger in a mission, always catching her and defending her against the villains.
But they were friends, it was obvious they were going to protect each other.
Or how Honey Lemon seemed to focus so strangely on GoGo, not being satisfied if she didn’t receive an answer from her.
But Honey Lemon was prompt to be upset, and GoGo’s sharp personality could do that more than once without noticing.
It was excusable, there was nothing more to it.
But later, those things started to grow, they were considerable but still under the radar, like how GoGo looked well-rested every day even if Honey Lemon have been snoring really loudly that night, or how Honey Lemon used GoGo’s music to meditate now and the sound of her boxing didn’t faze her anymore.
Then, those things got on the radar, or at least, in Hiro’s radar.
Hiro noticed because Honey Lemon started to touch GoGo. A lot.
A hand on her wrist, hands on her arm, hands on her shoulders, kisses on the cheek when she saluted her in school and they hadn’t gone together from their apartment, arms linked while walking,
Honey Lemon touched her, a whole lot. But the thing was that it wasn’t Honey Lemon touching her what freaked him out, she did that with everyone on the team, especially with him and Fred.
It was GoGo letting her what actually put him off.
And it was only Honey Lemon who could do it because she still rejected Fred like a professional Olympian and she only let Hiro touch her arm sometimes or give her the occasional big sister hug he liked when he was worried over something.
GoGo hated hugs, hated contact in general, at least that it was really necessary and important she did so or if she was really affectionate at the moment, and nobody, and he meant nobody, could do it otherwise.
But now, Honey Lemon touched her, he didn’t even know if it was on purpose or if Honey Lemon even noticed she could touch GoGo since it was her usual behavior with anyone else and she never gave up on that.
But maybe, that could haven’t been so weird, if he hadn’t noticed that GoGo, at some point, started to touch Honey back.
A hand on her back, on her waist, on her hair.
Hell, one day he slept in their apartment after Aunt Cass gave him permission because of a college project and he didn’t know if he should be scared or thankful that he witnessed the miracle of GoGo accepting without protest and even returning Honey Lemon’s good morning hug, he had to pretend he was sleeping when GoGo went to her bed, that she gave to him while she slept on the couch, to wake him up.
He hadn’t slept at all because of Honey Lemon’s snores even when Baymax tried to help, but he gave himself a pat in the back when he stopped Baymax in time to say it to GoGo and act like he was completely fine. GoGo seemed to believe it or at least pretended to.
He resolved to think about it at that moment. Or maybe after breakfast, he had thought distractedly, after smelling Honey Lemon’s pancakes with arequipe in the kitchen. GoGo simply urged him on to go downstairs, they were both hungry. Hiro decided that he had the rest of the day to think about it. It was time for breakfast and Honey Lemon’s good morning hug.
He didn’t have a concrete answer at the end of the day, but he did notice that Honey Lemon knew how to make GoGo’s coffee exactly how she liked and that GoGo bought Honey Lemon the stickers she liked to put in the fridge because she had forgotten. It was honestly kind of strange.
It wasn’t until Hiro was in his own home, eating dinner with Aunt Cass, that he realized that GoGo and Honey Lemon’s didn’t have extra blankets in their apartment to use and that the couch looked completely unused that morning. So, where had GoGo slept?
“I wish I knew what’s going on with them, Baymax.”
“Their dopamine, norepinephrine and phenylethylamine levels had been increasing at a high rate for the past two months. They had been showing increased blood flow in areas of the brain with high concentrations of receptors for dopamine, especially. Recently, oxytocin, vasopressin and endorphins are the ones that have been increasing instead.”
“What?”
“This match with their presented palpitations, flushing and increase in sweat, especially in the area of their hands. They only present those symptoms when they’re together. I don’t have anything in my database about it, but there are similar matches like addiction and excessive craving.”
“First, gross, I didn’t need to know any of that. Second, I don’t think that’s what this is, buddy. It’s something more.”
Days later, those things started to be big enough for Wasabi to notice.
How GoGo stopped making little sarcastic comments at Honey Lemon’s unique optimism, at least that was really delusional and she needed to rethink, or how Honey Lemon didn’t refute GoGo’s realistic input immediately without thinking, instead she thought it through and almost always accepted that GoGo was right or countered with a better-understood output.
Wasabi commented nothing at it but he agreed with Hiro when he asked about it.
It’s like they were stopping being opposites of each other. Or something of the like.
Fred, who hadn’t been aware until Hiro told him, heard the opinion very seriously before sprouting, “maybe they are doing a fusion! One day, before we can do anything about it, their bodies are gonna become one and there’s this two-headed mons-.”
Wasabi just sighed, interrupting him. “No, Fred. I don’t think this is a monster thing.”
Hiro opened his eyes like plates and smiled. That was the new angle he needed.
“No, but Fred is a little right.”
“He is?”
“I am?”
“Yes, but maybe it’s not fusion. It’s synthesis.”
At the confused faces, Hiro explained immediately what he meant.
In social sciences, there was something called the dialectic method, it tried to explain how change occurred.
After so much time cohabitating, GoGo and Honey Lemon were simply picking up each other’s habits and finding compromises. Their ideas were synthesizing.
That sounded logical enough, they accepted it. Fred was just a little disappointed that they were not fusing.
If only they have known it was a little more complicated than that.
Because, yeah, they were changing. But why was more important than how.
One day, GoGo tripped pretty badly on the lab while trying to improve her skates, Baymax and Honey Lemon ran to her aid and the boys had thought while they wet there too: yeah, it may have been Honey Lemon’s influence. They didn’t know it was because she had been a little too focused on Honey Lemon’s skirt.
And Honey Lemon may have been a little too sad one morning, GoGo a little absent and Baymax trying to comfort the first, but Hiro thought: it’s probably gonna be okay, not all changes come smoothly. He didn’t know it was because a confused GoGo had, for the first time in months, rejected harshly Honey Lemon’s good morning hug.
The next days were strange, to say the most. With Honey Lemon trying to hide a sadness that they never saw coming and with GoGo being more harsh and distant than ever. By day four, Baymax had already downloaded everything he could about interpersonal relationships to his healthcare database and used most of it. Maybe the theory was going to hell.
But before they could gather together and find a solution, Honey Lemon and GoGo fixed it just as soon.
They also adopted a kitten, apparently. Or, more specifically, GoGo gifted Honey Lemon a kitten. It was called Rodrigo, the second.
“Isn’t he the cutest?” Honey Lemon hugged the little kitty to her chest, Wasabi and Fred cooing at it, even if Wasabi didn’t want to be so close. Baymax was already downloading a database on kitten care.
Hiro frowned, looking suspiciously at GoGo. “But, Gogo, didn’t you say you didn’t want pets in your apartment?”
GoGo simply shrugged, her bubblegum popping, her gaze drifting to Honey Lemon’s joyful outburst. “I guess I just changed my mind.”
Hiro stood by his theory.
And all of them were supposed to be geniuses.
At least, Fred had an excuse.
since i had uploaded absolutely nothing to this blog in a while, im going to post my femslashfeb19 fics here too lmao. also in ao3 if u want to look for it there.

Tags/Verses Masterpost!
Figured I should probably make one of these to keep track.
Yakuza-series independent RP blog; open and welcoming to AU, multi-fandom and OCs. Expect canon-typical violence and dark metaphor; NSFW/explicit content will always be tagged. [THIS POST IS A WORK IN PROGRESS, EXPECT UPDATES ~ posting it now before it gets any longer...]
ME
Robz, 21+; RPed for a long damn time; friendly, but shy. I write, draw and sing - or at least make motions to that effect. 日本語で書いてことできるんだけど恥ずかしいから英語のほうがいいんです。よろしくお願いします。Interests include: music, video games, horror. Ask for my Discord ID, and lets plot shenanigans!
CHARACTERS
[Majima Goro] [Goromi] 真島吾朗 ~ The Mad Dog of Shimano/The Lord of the Night; Sharp as a blade and stabby to boot, Majima is a yakuza through and through - unpredictable, violent and just a bit smarter than he lets on.
[Makimura Makoto] マキムラマコト ~ Not All Who Wander Are Lost; A young woman caught up in a world of darkness she could never hope to fully understand. Makoto is determined and independent, and perhaps just a little reckless. (Somewhat canon-divergent after Yakuza 0 - rather than returning to Hogushi Kaikan, Makoto instead begins working with charities focused on helping human trafficking victims and other vulnerable members of society. She won’t sit around and wait for a hero any longer, instead, she wants to become her own.)
[Oda Jun] 尾田純 ~ Tachibana Real Estate’s Lap Dog; Unrepentant and proud, Oda knows his place in the world because he carved it for himself. He won’t let anybody stand in his way.
[Dojima Daigo] - Testing~
[Hana] 菊川花~ Sky Finance’s Backbone; Hana sometimes wonders why she bothers coming to work in the morning, but it’s a good job she always does.
[Akamine Tenji] 赤嶺典二「天使」~ OC; a host originally from Gifu who has no idea what he’s about to get himself into. Polite, gregarious and kind, his sweetness hides an ambition for greatness that he will pursue to the end of the earth. (FC: Mizushima Hiro) Tenji now has his own blog over at @hachidorinoko with both Yakuza and Persona 5 verses!
[Hayashi Bara] 林薔薇 ~ OC; daughter of Hayashi Hiroshi, Bara is something of a tearaway punk trying to find her place in the world. Rude and obnoxious, she is in truth as vulnerable as she appears, though she’ll go to any lengths to hide that. (FC: Tsuchiya Anna) Bara now has her own blog over at @splinteredthorn !
[Futaba Sakura] 佐倉双葉 ~ Persona 5. Not active on this blog, but she has her own sub-blog at @hikikohacker
Hit me up, who knows what’s next.........
RULES
Setting these up as I go along, so forgive me if they’re a bit lax...
DBAA ~ Don’t Be An Asshole; plain and simple!
No minors, please; I keep my NSFW stuff tagged, so it can be avoided if you’d rather not read it, but I will not generally place it under cuts and nor do I wish to feel as if I should. Absolutely no smut with minors, no exceptions.
We don’t have to be mutuals to interact! We don’t even have to be from the same series/universe/whatever. If you wanna RP, just hit me up and we’ll figure something out!
If you’re not sure about something, ASK ME! I don’t bite, and I certainly don’t want to cause confusion or frustration with anything I’ve written. You can message me through tumblr, or ask for my Discord so we can talk things through.
I WRITE A LOT -- I like big paragraphs and I cannot lie... don’t feel like you have to keep up with me! I’d prefer a reply which is short and to the point than to feel like you’re stressing over matching my waffle.
I may unfollow RP blogs which post a lot of OOC/irrelevant content. This doesn’t mean I don’t like you or don’t want to RP with you, it just clogs up my dash and I don’t really like it. Drop me a message if you have any questions, but I can guarantee it’s nothing against you personally! Your blog, your rules -- you do you!
