i would also like to point out that simon probably totally has adhd and would talk about it and his experience with it

his most popular videos are of him baking. he’s like (and hear me out) very good and very bad at it. like, all throughout the videos, everybody’s holding their breath’s like “oh no this is going to turn out terribly” because simon being in the kitchen is like a horse babysitting a dog, it’s a mess, however the end product is always perfect and amazing and by the end everybody’s drooling behind their screens

simon replies to baz’s comment and is like “oh my god thank you so much. you’re like my actual favorite youtuber” like a fucking Nut and people see that and say “omg collab” because they’re both relatively high status youtubers and their collab would be Powerful

then, summoning all his courage, simon dms baz on instagram with just a simple “hey, a lot of people are saying we should collab lmao”

“i’ve seen that” “heh uhm yeah” “maybe we could get to know each other and see if that would be a good idea” “yes! i’d love that”

and they do. they get really close and stuff,, but people don’t exactly...see that

you see, on twitter, they get in millions of arguments. people genuinely think that they hate each other to some extent, when in reality, they’re swooning at the sight of the three dot bubble

baz, on twitter: “you cannot tell me that people actually enjoy sparkling water. it’s trash, move on” (they had an argument over it, privately, and baz is making it public to cause a rise out of simon bc he finds angry simon cute)

so, when they collab for the first time, everybody at home is just like *shocked pikachu emoji* they end up doing a video where simon bakes baz’s mom’s recipe of cherry scones with baz. it’s kind of a big deal bc both simon and baz don’t want to ruin baz’s memory of his mother

in the end, baz tears up and gives si a big ass hug because they’re perfect, simon. i love them, thank you. the fans start shipping. hard. it’s simon’s highest viewed video

that surprise hug is also what makes simon realize that his feelings are much deeper than attraction and surface level forms of knowing someone

on baz’s channel, they were going to film a video where they talked about their experiences being queer, but then simon realized that his biggest, most prominent example was staring at baz’s jawline, so he had to be like “uhhh, actually, I’m not really comfortable with that yet” which is part true. instead, they do a video where they have argumentative discussions, like on twitter but in depth and with less insults

anyways, they receive pretty positive feedback on the videos, people enjoy them, so they decide to do more. also, they both live in LA, so it’s actually pretty easy to do them, plus they have a diverse area to do them in

also, i think it’d be nice to mention that simon will sometimes do twitch streams of him playing minecraft and then he puts edited versions on his channel. it’s worth mentioning because during this one stream, he ends up slipping up and saying “we talk a lot, actually. and i—i like him a lot” about baz, then he blushes like hell because i really just said that and it’s live oh god

all the while, baz and simon actually just start hanging out (without hiding behind wanting to do a video). one meet-up, they go to disney world and halfway through baz is like “uh, should we be filming this?” and simon gives him a smile and replies, “no” because that moment is for them and them only + the fans who see them together and ask for a picture/just take pictures of them being like a couple

their next collab is a bit of a fun one. behind the scenes, pen, ag, si, and baz all become friends, because of that one time baz came over while penny was there and he barely payed attention to simon, too busy talking to penny. anyways, they do a big four person collab where agatha basically teaches them how to do makeup

okay so agatha and penny are just like: “these idiots need to get together already” because it’s very obvious that they like each other. like the eiffel tower in paris, you can’t miss it. everyone watching the videos also sees it, so you can imagine the comments

during one of si’s live-streams (he’s playing the hunger games minigame on minecraft), the chat goes wild because baz pops in. he plans on surprising simon with a picnic (he just thought that they could go into simon’s backyard or the park that’s a few miles away), but it was pretty spur of the moment so he didn’t think about simon doing a stream. and to be honest, simon’s stream was also spur of the moment, so it’s not like he made sure to tell baz about it

“simon! hey, i let myself in!” baz called from the front doorway. the chat is freaking because: “is that baz???” “omg baz has a key to simon’s house!!” “are they dating???” simon kind of just freezes up and starts sputtering as he reads the chat and tries to reply to baz

YESTERDAY WAS SO AMAZING AAAAAAAAAAAHSHBSIANQOSNJD

Okay so

Actually the past few days have been amazing omg. So Ammar Nakshawani came here for the first time I think and on like Friday was the first lecture at some quaid e Azam international hospital in pindi. It was on interfaith unity. It was rlly good.

Then the next day in the evening was a q and a at someone's house for youth and he answered two of my questions. THAT DAY WAS PRIME. We reached late and I still ended up sitting in the front row and we even made eye contact a few times *-*. Then my questions I happened to write on tiny pieces of paper compared to the others so the guy reading out the questions to him happened to keep mine on top so they wouldn't get lost. (my questions were to what extent is friendship with namehrams allowed, and what books would you recommend for someone who's developing an interest in Islamic history.) Not one but two questions. Two!!!

So everyone was seated (I happened to find place on the far left on the floor - front row- and mummy was up on the sofa in his line) and it was almost Namaz time and he came kinda late because apparently his guy had booked him for 8000 events anyway then the aunty who's house it was at asked him is he wanted coffee and black? And he went no white three sugars and then way at the end when we were leaving I saw the mug of coffee behind his chair all full and just sitting there man it looked so good I think about that coffee to this day. Mummy had said just drink it but it's too late now. #Regrets ) most of the questions that day were about marriage though guess cause it was for the youth. But whatever, the session was fun and rlly funny :’).

Then later that night (like an hour later) was his first Majlis at markazi. We prayed at the q&a aunty's house and came home then sa khala picked us up and we went to markazi. I was expecting loads of people like packed hall like the pictures from defence imambargah but there were such a few people!! :') so much space. Even then though he was on a screen on the ladies side I could kinda see the side of the mimbar and his hand now and then. Anyway it was a lot Majlis on the hadith by imam Hasan Askari (as) علامات المؤمن خمسه.

Then the next day was Majlis again at markazi in the night. I made sure to sit right where I could properly 100% see him (the irl him, not on screen). We went with sa khala but after the Majlis there was a q&a which took kinda long so sa khala left and some other aunty dropped us back. The Majlis was on tawalla/wilayat etc. Apparently he prayed the same Majlis in Karbala on Arbaeen acc to apa.

Okay, THEN the day after: We come to "yesterday" (okay so I started writing this post on Tuesday but am finishing it today, Wednesday, inshallah). So on Monday he came to kcw. Originally the plan was that mummy will give him a tour of the place which I was v excited for thinking I could tag along and possibly get a picture. But then last minute (literally a few minutes before we left the house) they told mummy that there wouldn't be a tour bc someone announced it as an open invitation event though it was just for kcw girls. So basically then he was just gonna pray in the men's side with a TV in the women's imambargah. So then we reached (zaynab Reza was already there) and in the women's imambargah everyone was seated and he hadn't yet started reciting on the TV. Then he yaknow, gave his lecture. Then he said we'll go to the girls'? Ladies'? Side to wherever they've been locked up lmao. I don't think he knew about the TV. So then towards the end of the q&a after his lil talk we all got up and went to the auditorium. I was in the 3rd row on the left side of the hall (in front of the door wala side) and zaynab Reza was next to me and apa next to her. Prime position man, prime :'). So then he came and sat on the right hand side of the auditorium waley seats in the front row and was shown the long and boring video of the life of a kcw student like y. Then he went on the stage and sat and then mummy went to the podium and like idk talked to him? And introduced him? I'm not sure I have the video though.

Then he gave a lil lecture thing again (in which he referenced al-islam yet again and lriased it saying it's the best thing or sth:')) I think and then there was a q&a and mummy was giving the girls the mic whoever wanted it and then she told him that kcw girls get priority for questions because they haven't had a chance with him so then he ended up calling her Principal like principal where did you go when someone needed the mic 😂😂😂 anyway then after the q&a mummy did a lil thank u lecture for him (in which he namastey'd her. I have video proof) and then he left the auditorium before we could get a picture. So then we went out and he was in a room next to the auditorium having tea I think and mummy told the guy with him to call him out and he came and mummy said my daughter's wouLD LIKE A PICTURE WITH YOU AND HE SAID SURE ("Shor") AND THEN THIS HAPPENED. HNNNNNGGGG

And then he asked mummy where he's seen her before and she said umm London? My husband is the idk creator of al-islam. And he did these finger guns like ah yiss. (though I have my hunches. Mummy was like just a bit away from him at the youth q&a at the aunty's house, he probably saw her there 😂) anyway then he was made to take pictures with the kcw girls and mummy and the coordinator and then mummy gave him her card saying to remember her in his prayers then we came home.

Then while we were at home fangirling mummys like "ohh he's messaging me!!!!" I didn't really process what she said before he fRIKKIN MESSAGED HER I ISH U NOT WOT THATS SO COOL like wow.

Anyway I was a happy bunny at academy that day. :')
