Patterns: 

I seem to love making very short first lines? and they jump into the story right away most of the time. I don’t think about how I write first lines too much because it all kind of happens naturally. most of these listed here are kind of plain, so that is a pattern as well.

I like this line because it was a huge step trying to write a character study for my original story? It was the first line I wrote in literal months of being on hiatus again. The sentence is very simple but since dreams play a big role in my story, it has a meaning that I love to explore. I only wrote 300 words but I hope I can expand on this soon. 

Thank you Vish for tagging me, this was lovely eventhough it makes me sad once again that I have nothing new going on in my writing. It makes me feel like an imposter. It was nice though to mention some old works of mine.

Jealousy for dummies - jealous of all the time shouto has been spending with yaoyorozu, you hatch up a plan with bakugou to give him a taste of his own medicine.

She did what? - he met his soulmate as she fell out of a trash shoot while covering her baby ferret friend when he came across a burning building

Into your arms - you’re prone to tripping and Todoroki is prone to being there to catch you. Or, in which you’re a bit of a klutz and, for a reason he can’t explain, Todoroki wants to make sure you never get hurt

Dating Aizawa’s niece - them meeting him as reader’s uncle for the first time

B. what’s your favourite fandom to read

So usually I only read one fandom at a time, and any time I read, like, two, is usually when I’m switching over from one to the other. So at the moment, I read the halcyon, but before that was good omens (and a bit of call the midwife, because occasionally I fall back into that, for maybe a week)

adil/toby :P

for non-halcyon, I guess I’d say ineffable husbands, or phryne/jack from miss fisher (I’ve loved them since I was roughly 12 or 13 so...) but I only really have the brain space for a lot of emotion for one paring at a time

F. canon fic or au

generally, I read canon (or canon divergence if the canon is a bit shit) first, because I like reading and writing stuff that fleshes out some of the parts of canon that could have been more in-depth (like toby and adil’s ending feels pretty rushed, so I like exploring that even though it's sooooo angsty) but, au is a lot of fun when going after fluff and just, really funny/random scenarios and figuring out how everyone reacts in completely different situations and whatnot. it’s like a puzzle. so they both have different things that appeal to me :)

G. long fics or short fics

ah, usually short fics at the moment. I’ve had a bit of burnout for the last couple of months (it's so annoying, can my attention span please come back?), and also winter/cold air means I’ve been having more flare-ups, and when I’m in pain I can’t process words at all (soooo boring) but I love a really good long multichap sometimes because you can get completely lost in it and it’s just a lot of fun

H. original characters or no

I really love making ocs up, its fun for practising drawing sometimes. I don’t mind reading it in fics, so long as they don’t take away from the roles of actual side characters, but they can be fun. I tend not to write any in my own fics though

L. favourite fic written by you

ooooooh, I’m still pretty proud of Catch Me which is good omens hurt/comfort (I am a sucker for hurt comfort and I really wanted to read something specific and I didn’t know how to search for it so I wrote it). 

I also kinda love Tell me a Story, Tell me a Lie because writing that reminded me a lot of the really experimental writing I did for extension english (literacy/writing etc.) in my last year of high school, and it was really fun to write, but I genuinely was not expecting anyone else to like it because I know second person can be a bit hit or miss, 

P. do you write exclusively fanfic

I actually wrote oc stuff before I discovered fanfic was a thing (I would have been maybe 12 or 13), but it got very very dark, and honestly wasn't very good (again, i was like 12 lol). I have written story outlines since, usually for fic ideas that don’t fit a fandom/pairing so I made characters up, which I’d love to flesh out properly, but I’ve never actually written any original stuff at properly since then. I like writing fanfic more though. bonus content!

I don’t have one???? There are certain fics I come back to first when I fall back into a fandom, but generally I barely have one favourite per fandom, let alone of all time across all of them. like, when I started reading fic for the halcyon again I  started from top to bottom until I ran out, because I was mostly just excited that there was actually new fic (and writers!!!)

T. when did you start reading fanfic

I think I was maybe 13? possibly 14? I read shitting hunger games fanfic on wattpad. I discovered ao3 when I was 15 when I got tumblr

(it’s another au I’m not gonna actually turn into a fic, but it accidentally got a little bit too detailed because I decided I was gonna rewrite it oops.)

X. give a summary of your current work

I have maybe 4 or 5? that I haven't touched in months?? (oh fuck the mermaid au) but okay;

so the one (that’s actually gonna be a fic, hopefully, eventually) is another post-canon fic, that sort of focuses more on reactions and processing of what happened in the last ep of the halcyon. I know this has been done a million times before, but like, rather than skipping ahead a few years and then confronting each other, its more about those years that usually get skipped. and they’ll get a happy ending this time (more angst though sorry!) 

the not-gonna-be-a-fic thing from the previous question is a hanahaki au, and I’m not turning it into an actual fic because it’s just normal canon except adil has hanahaki. that’s it. just extra drama

(I also have good omens wips which I’m pretty sure I’ll never touch again. I think I might have a couple of marvel ones which I’m definitely never touching again because I’m just not interested in writing them anymore rip)

Galra Prisoners AU Lance, Keith, and Pidge become prisoners of the Galra Empire and forge strong, essentially romantic bonds with one another as they question if they’re ever going to get rescued.

Dance Competition AU Pidge and Lance are old friends that end up in a Dance Competition TV Show and end up partnered up with Keith and Allura respectively as both groups compete for the prize.

Hockey AU Focuses on the struggles of the hockey team “The Voltron Lions” as they not only work to beat their rivals, “The Daibazaal Galras,” but also as they try to figure out the strange feelings that have formed between Team Captain Shiro and his right-hand man, Keith.

Seasons AU Pidge, Lance, Keith, and Shiro are the actual embodiments of the seasons Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Managing entire seasons can be rather stressful.

Sven’s Verse AU - [ Plangst Story ] Basically my take on what’s going on in Sven’s Universe. Plance angst and Sheith fluff are very present there.

New Champion AU A different take on Voltron’s story where Pidge was also on the Kerberos Mission with her family and Shiro. While Shiro escaped, her brother was rescued, and her father was sent off to a work camp, Pidge was forced to become the Galra’s Champion to replace Shiro. She doesn’t disappoint. 

Tron AU Kinda based on Tron: Legacy, Shiro goes missing for several years until Keith ends up at the arcade he was last spotted in. After being transported into a video game, he has to learn how to survive with the help of a couple of odd characters and the very man he’s been looking for.

Actors AU Yup. This is exactly what everyone else is doing. “What would happen if Voltron was Live Action and not animated?!”

Special Class AU A High School AU where all members of Team Voltron end up in a rather unique class that doesn’t exactly follow what the rest of the school is like.

Parasyte/Tokyo Ghoul AU Loosely based off of these two animes, Pidge and Keith become infected with a strange disease that gives them unique powers and abilities. Sadly, while they plan on using these powers for good, the others of their kind aren’t as nice and Pidge and Keith find themselves needing to protect those they care about.

Superhero AU Yup. Basic idea. Team Voltron as superheroes. Not like anyone has done that before. XD

Aerialists AU Team Voltron is a bunch of aerial artists in training. They all have different skills and different interests but maybe special connections can be formed?

Mental Reincarnation AU Remembering things from another life sucks, especially when you get the memories randomly. What shall our former Paladins do as they slowly remember the events of Voltron?!

13.  Hardest character to write? Okay, so of ALL the characters I’ve written (all four of them: Zuko (A:TLA), Jin (A:TLA), Shiro, and Keith) the hardest was Jin because I didn’t really feel any connection to her, I just liked her character which didn’t help me much. So I’ve since dropped that blog and Zuko is currently the hardest character for me to write because I don’t really care about ATLA anymore, so it’s hard for me to get into character.

Character

Character A has been stealing from another thief, Character B, for a better half of the year and it never stopped being amusing.

The duo was unlikely. Character B was a young man with a wise, old soul. Character A was a hopeful man with a child-like heart that had seen far too much over the years.

Character A is a time traveller who’s been traveling for so long they can’t remember what time they came from. Character B tries to help them.

Character A is a dragon who loves music and kidnaps young men asking their betrotheds to sing them a song as ransom. Character B is their newest beloved.

Managing Character B’s temper would be so much easier if there weren’t so many people trying his patience, and Character A just happens to be their biggest annoyance yet.

Character A wishes they were braver, stronger, smarter. Character A wished for all these things without knowing they were already brave, strong, and smart and Character B is going to prove it.

Character B is rude in every sense of the word and impatient to a fault. They were the kind of person to shove “lesser people” into a trash bin if it meant entertainment. Things change when Character A knocks them from their pedestal and they realize their actions have consequences they aren’t sure they can fix.

Character B has a tendency to apologize for anything, even if they have no reason to and Character A is getting sick and tired of it.

Character A collects stones and arranges them on their shelf by color.

Character B was always dirty and cut up with wraps over their bruised knuckles and Character A just wants to figure out why.

The clock on the wall read 4:31, and Rich was sitting in the auditorium with Jake, Jenna, and Christine, going over lines for this year's show, The Little Mermaid. Rich got to play Flounder, and he was fucking thrilled.

"This is dumb. If she really had a crush on this guy, Ariel would just - fuckin' - ignore her father even more and swim up to the prince whenever he's nearby. Long distance relationship. Make it work. Dedicate yourself to this. Don't go make deals with a shady sea witch who probably killed your mother." Rich had his chin resting on his hand as he read over the lines, eyes half-lidded and the words tumbling out without thought.

"But it's love, Rich! She is dedicated, she's giving up her voice for the prince!" Christine grinned at him from where she sat, perched on the back of the seat rather than in the seat itself, still going over her lines.

"Yeah, but at the very least she could've like, learned sign language or something - or fucking written stuff down ? She knows how to write. She could've written what she wanted to say, she's a dumbass." He flipped the page, eyebrows furrowed.

Jake leaned back in his seat, snorting. "Crushes are dumb anyways."

"Says the guy with a crush on Dustin Kropp," Jenna piped up as she idly flipped through her script, smirking. Christine glanced over at Jake with wide eyes, giggling.

"Oh, shit, Jenna's revealing all sorts of good stuff today. Anything else to report, Jen-Jen?" She leaned forward eagerly, half-focused on the script, half-focused on Jenna. Her knee was bouncing as she turned the page of her script, going over the lines under her breath, head cocked to listen to Jenna.

They all knew that Jenna and Christine were hardcore pining for each other.

"Brooke and Chloe were making out in the girl's bathroom during lunch today. If you were wondering where they were. I had the brilliant luck to walk in as they were doing it." Jenna looked up at Rich and Jake, raising her eyebrows. "Wonder how much longer they're gonna last."

"Knowing Chloe, not long." Jake shut his script, leaning forward again, obviously done with trying to be productive - normal for him. "Although, it is Brooke."

"That's true." Rich flipped the pages of his script back and forth, gaze flicking over the words, but his mind not registering them. "It is Brooke. Chloe's head over heels for her, I'm sure they'll last for a good long while."

He was confident in his words - Brooke had loved Chloe for years, and Chloe had just started to return the sentiment. The two were incredibly happy and seemed to have everything they wanted. They planned to move up to Boston, get an apartment and two cats. They had everything planned out. They'd already started looking for places to move to. In the meantime, Chloe was staying at the Lohst household (well, the Lohst-Goranski household at this point - Rich lived there too, Ms. Lohst knew his dad was shitty and had taken him in almost immediately. She was a goddamn angel in Rich's eyes). They all knew Chloe's parents wouldn't approve of the relationship.

Rich loved Brooke like a little sister, and so naturally he had to threaten Chloe. If she hurt Brooke, Rich would be hunting her down and beating the shit out of her. Of course, he knew Chloe would never try to hurt Brooke on purpose, and that thought calmed him a little. Nobody in the Lohst house would actively try to hurt anybody. It had not been that way in his old house. He was relieved to be out of that shithole. He was loved in the Lohst house. They cared about him - all of his friends actually cared about him. It was nice. It was really, really, really nice.

Rich snapped back to attention at a hand waving in his face, and he snapped at it. Christine jerked her hand back, rolling her eyes. "We were talking to you, dumbass."

He shook his head, blinking away his previous daze. He got lost in his thoughts like that far too often for his liking. "Sorry, sorry. What were you saying?"

"We wanna know who you, " Christine jabbed him in the chest, and he yelped, "have a crush on."

Rich rolled his eyes. "Chris, I don't have a crush on anybody. We've been over this. Several times."

"Liar." Jake didn't even look up, he was flipping through his script again. Rich shot a glare his way.

"You're the one lying," He retorted, rolling his eyes.

As he spoke, his eyes flicked up as Jeremy and Michael walked into the theater, talking. He found himself staring for much too long as Jeremy laughed at something Michael had said. The boy buried his face in his hand, shoulders shaking, eyes bright. Upon realizing that he was, in fact, staring, Rich jerked his gaze away, knowing that he'd probably gone red. He felt like his heart was crawling up his throat as Jeremy and Michael walked over, and he gripped the hem of his tank top with his hands.

Shit, he didn't have a crush on Jeremy, did he? It wouldn't be a bad thing if he did, he just… didn't think he had any crushes at the moment. Shit, maybe he was wrong. He coughed into his hand, the coughs harsh and grating against his throat. He was surprised that it hurt so much. Maybe he was just getting sick, who knew?

He looked down at his hand, his heart stopping at the three smooth, white petals that rested in his palm. He swallowed nervously, tongue darting around his mouth, running over his teeth as if searching for other petals that might've gotten stuck in his mouth. Upon finding none, he hastily shoved the petals into his pocket, trying to pretend that nothing had happened. He was fine, he was sure of it. People had probably randomly coughed up flowers before. He'd eaten flowers on a dare before. He'd done it the other day because Michael had bet him ten dollars he wouldn't do it. They made plenty of bets like that.

Well, Rich "Is That A Goddamn Challenge" Goranski went home with ten dollars that day (and Brooke "My Brother Is A Trainwreck" Lohst judged him for eating those flowers).

He was snapped out of his confused haze by a voice. "Rich? You okay over there? You look like you're gonna get sick." Michael furrowed his eyebrows in concern as Rich hesitated with his response.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He flashed a smile, hoping it was reassuring. I already am sick.

He pushed that thought away.

His confidence practically vanished as Christine spoke up. "Hey, Michael, we're talking about crushes. We want the dirt, who are you into?"

Rich found himself getting nauseous at the mere thought of crushes, and looking at Jeremy just made his head spin. His heart was pounding, the sound in his ears getting louder, and louder, and louder, and eventually it was too much as Jeremy began to answer the question. Rich didn't want to hear it - he didn't, he didn't, he didn't. He kept himself calm on his exterior, but inside he was a disaster. His thoughts were swirling and buzzing, raging like a thunderstorm, panicked and tangled and mixed up. He tried to keep himself steady, not wanting to cause a scene or something.

So. He liked Jeremy. That was a fact. Did he like Jeremy as more than a friend? He still wasn't sure.

At least, he wasn't sure until he looked up at Jeremy again, who was grinning, face flushed red from embarrassment as Michael droned on about something - probably something stupid, not that Rich cared. And Rich felt himself getting lost in those blue-gray eyes, and he cursed himself inwardly. Oh god , he was so fucked, he was so fucked. He was a gay mess right now, that's what he was. He forced himself to look down at the script in his hands. Hoping for a distraction, he tried to focus on the words, focus on something before he got lost in his thoughts (and Jeremy) again. Anything to get his mind off of Jeremy and his budding crush.

"Rich, dude, are you sure you're okay?" It was Jake this time, and the conversation had come to a halt as everyone noticed how strange he was acting.

Rich forced a smile. "Been… sitting for too long. Gettin' kinda restless. I might take a walk to the costume closet and chill for a bit." That was a believable lie, right? And maybe he could find out if Jeremy currently had any crushes or not.

"Sounds good, dude." Jeremy tilted his head. "Want someone to come with you?" He ignored how his heart pounded when Jeremy spoke, at how his hair flopped down over his eyes when he tilted his head like that.

His gaze flicked over the group, and his eyes landed on Jenna. He grinned. "I'll take the Jen-meister with me. If she wants to come, that is."

The girl looked slightly taken aback but shrugged. "Sure, why not. Y'all are wearing out the conversation. We get it, Jake has a crush on Ed Sheeran."

Christine giggled, rolling her eyes (she was so into Jenna). Jake just groaned, burying his face in his hands. "You're all terrible people. I make a joke one time, one fucking time. "

"Say that to the Ed Sheeran poster in your closet. I have pictures." Rich laughed, getting to his feet. "Alright. C'mon, Jen. Racks of shittily organized costumes await."

Jenna stood up as well, leaving her script behind as the two wandered in the direction of the costume closet. Jenna was the first to speak on the way there, although Rich barely heard what she said, and just hummed in response.

"Rich, dude, that's not an answer. Why the hell did you ask me to come along?"

They entered the costume closet, and Rich began to sift through costumes, busying his hands - a distraction, something to keep him occupied so he could keep it together. "Uh, I - what do you know about Jeremy? Like, relationship wise? Who he dated, all that stuff. If he - uh, likes anybody now?"

Jenna looked offended, scowling. "What, you brought me along just to get information out of me? That's shitty, Rich. Just ask him yourself."

Rich felt his chest tighten at the mere thought. "No, no, I'm sorry. It was pretty shitty of me, Jen, but - but it's important. It's really fucking important." He coughed twice into his hand, shoving the slick white petals in his pocket again.

Jenna looked at him with a strange expression for a moment - bordering on concern, curiosity, and nervousness all at once. "Uh - okay." Her face twisted back into a scowl, and she started listing information. "He dated Brooke for two months, Christine for five, and he briefly dated Michael for three weeks. Happy?"

Rich felt his heart race. He liked guys. Thank fuck, he was into guys, praise the goddamn lord he was into guys. "Almost. Is he dating anybody now? Have any crushes?"

Jenna shook her head, and Rich felt almost relieved for a few moments. He could actually do it. He had a slight chance. "Thank you so much, Jen. This - this is really helpful."

She frowned, studying him for a moment. "If you don't mind my asking, why do you care about this?"

Rich hesitated, debating on whether or not he should tell the truth. He opted not to. "Uh. Not really a specific reason. Just… curious."

The girl raised an eyebrow, obviously not believing him. "You're a shit liar, Richard."

Rich forced a smile at his full name, gritting his teeth. "I'm not lying, Jen. I'm just curious."

He didn't like this. He had a crush, yes, and he was okay with that - but something felt off. Something about how tight his chest felt, something about how he could hear the tiniest hint of a wheeze in between each breath he took, something about the coughing and the flowers - it all rubbed him the wrong way, something was just… wrong. And he couldn't figure out what, he couldn't put it together - it was frustrating him.

He shoved a few more petals into his pocket.

Favourite season THATS REALLY TOUGH. I’m gonna say autumn because its cold but not too cold y’know? And the fall colors are gorgeous.

Do you have short, medium or long hair? I had long until a week ago, but now they’re medium

Hanahaki or soulmate? *googles hanahaki for this* I’m gonna say soulmates, because I like everyone getting at least one person they could spend their life with. (Tbh soulmates irl would be kinda problematic because what if they died? What if you fell in love with someone else? who knows!)

Angst or Fluff? Depends on the mood, but most likely angst. I love love love angst with happy endings. (But then I’ve also read several MCDs when I’m that kinda mood). But I also absolutely loVE fluff because CUTE.

What’s your favourite planet? Oh man I have so many good answers to this. okay a) Uranus, because I’m a teenager and cannot help it b) Pluto, because VIVA LA PLUTO its such a smol planet that just wants some love (also side note: I was tying smol and my laptop corrected it to smoldering and I can’t stop laughing) c) Neptune, because I love Percy Jackson’s dad Poseidon and d) Earth, because it has all of you lovely folks

Do you speak any other languages? I do! I speak English and Hindi fluently. I can understand and can speak sometimes Punjabi, and I can speak/understand Spanish to a limit.

What’s your dream job? oh mAN. *side eyes all the future career quizzes I’ve taken* Honestly, at this point I have no clue. Something with design preferably. Or a film director! That’d be fun. Yeah idk, just something I would have fun doing :)

What colour would you dye your hair? I just dyed my hair yesterday actually! It’s a really pretty reddish brown. I think in a couple years I might go for some non-natural hair colors like blue or something. (I also love how pretty silver/grey hair looks but alas, I could never pull it off)

What’s the best birthday you ever had? I was going to be cliché and say my sweet 16, but I’m gonna go with my 10th birthday. I had absolutely no idea we were doing anything until I came out of my room and my best friend at the time just pounced on my back. Soon a couple others came and we had a blast. (This was the night before my birthday) And then the next day my mom took us all to go watch a movie. The best part though was when used the wrapping paper from the gifts to hide away umm some provocative movie posters.

Do you play any instruments? I play the piano! But I haven’t practiced in such a long time oops

Can you swim? I used to be convinced I was a mermaid when I was a little kid. I LOVE swimming.

4. Do you respond to comments, and why?

absolutely, I’m  incredibly grateful that people read my work and let me know with their own words? so it only feels appropriate to answer. and sometimes when people have more thoughts to share I enjoy talking with them!

5. What’s the fic you have written with the angstiest ending?

oh boy. it gotta be my taegi little mermaid AU (just breathe through me) and my Nie Huaisang/Mo Xuanyu oneshot (ink stained nights, fingers, hearts). I think an explanation for both is unnecessary - they both end with major character death and in both cases it’s not a ‘comforting’ passing. both endings are just incredibly heartbreaking and part of me hated doing it, while the other part had too much fun. i also count my taegi historical Silla AU (blackened skies) as quite angsty, because the entire situation of that feels hopeless. there wasn’t even a possibility to make it a happy ending

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

oh despite my very angsty fics, I have a ton of stories that end quite happily. though while doing this, I realised that majority of my fanfics are open ended because they rarely focus on plot? what turned out incredibly sweet however was my taegijoon hanahaki disease AU  (i can’t rip you out) and my aforementioned mafia AU - I don’t know how happy I’m about the latter’s ending, but it definitely is a very sweet and happy ending. I feel like I could’ve improved a lot on tying up the plot. 

7. Do you write crossovers, if so what’s the craziest one you have done?

I’ve never written a crossover? Once I wrote a fic loosely based on Good Omens but that’s the closest I got. 

8. Have you ever recieved hate on a fic?

not really, I once got a comment on my earlier mentioned little mermaid AU complaining about killing off gay people even in a fantasy setting which. okay? so not even the tagging and the very clear statement that it’s based on Hans Christian Andersen’s story wasn’t enough to stop you? I was just a little bit flabberghasted lol (not to mention assuming I, a queer, kill gays for shits and giggles)

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

this is difficult to answer because I have written smut before, though mostly because I wanted to try it out? I have a few smutty scenes with my wangxian fics but those are very tame, and then I’ve been writing some smut for wenzhou, but that is not posted (and will never be, probably). I always try it out because for some pairings it’s an amazing tool for character studies, and I also want to challenge myself by writing something outside of my comfort zone? but I feel a little bit awkward about it, especially because I’m ace myself so what would I know about it. I guess that is something other people have to judge how well I’m doing

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

not that I know of

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

yes! a few of my works have been translated to Russian by lovely people.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Here I’m giving the same answer as @vishcount did - yes! We wrote one together and I know they said it feels like it’s more like my fic than theirs, but I still very much consider it our joint work!! white plum blossoms turning red - it’s a wangxian wedding fic that I came up with and wanted to include many character’s different POVs. Vishie was so lovely to give her part by writing Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen - which was absolutely wonderful. Am still very grateful? This whole fic is very cheesy and I never thought I would write weddings in my life but somehow I needed this. Thank you for being part of it 💜 would love to do it again sometime!

13. All time favorite ship!

i hate this question so much. i have so many and choosing is absolutely horrible. I guess I’ll choose wangxian, because they just became one with my heart? they gave me so much and they were incredible to explore. I’ve never written so much about one pairing/universe and I still feel I could forever dwell in their lives. I guess I also want to mention Nie Huaisang/Mo Xuanyu because they became my own on a very intense level.

14.What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you will?

My Original Sin case fic. I started writing that in winter and only recently I read what I’ve written back then. It’s not too bad? I really wanted to challenge myself by writing a case fic, mainly because I suck at plotting. Lu Li and Chi Zhen are amazing to explore so I somehow don’t want to give up on that? Maybe I will rewatch the show and it will bring my motivation back. Am just too dumb for my own plot lol

15. What are your writing strengths?

after having many talks with vishie and my other friend, it seems that my characters are okay? I enjoy writing characters a lot, so it’s what I focus on the most. I also like writing atmospheres and just. VibesTM. idk what else I could mention here tbh. maybe my dedication to do (historical) research? often it’s more fun than the thing itself.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Plotting. Am trying to get into it a bit more? I also over-write many things which I want to change - I will never stop being pretentious but maybe being simple about it is better sometimes. Also I need to improve my English a lot, but that is a lifelong journey. I bet there are a ton more weaknesses but I feel like other people can judge that more clearly than me - my own writing is just a hazy mess so I can’t judge it unless I read it years later.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

not really my thing ig? If someone does it well, maybe it’s good, but yeah. I think it really needs to add to the story to make it work

18. First fandom you wrote for?

Hmmm. When I first discovered fanfics I wrote Ouran Highschool Host Club fics on my phone when I was 12-13 yo, but I never published them? and soon after that it was Denmark/Norway for Hetalia (yeah i know, shut up). that was my pairings of pairings back then and I even published it? I think even a Japan/England Pirate AU????  oh boy I haven’t thought about this in ages, it’s cursed.

19. Fave fic you have written?

It’s hard to choose between your kids and there are a few I could mention, but after being in a very bad writing slump for the past year, I’m quite confident to say that blackened skies, my historical taegi AU set in Silla Korea, is my favourite? For some reason it feels like I peaked - maybe it’s because I haven’t felt truly happy with anything since then, or maybe it’s because I combined a ton of historical research and tied it to my writing? I don’t really know. I guess that together with my Nie Huaisang/Mo Xuanyu fic it feels like my magnum opus that burned me out completely and now am still recovering. Are they any good? I have no fucking idea, but it sure took a toll on me.
