EXHIBIT TWO: RIDE OR DIE BROS FOR LIFE
suna rintarou °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
middle blocker for the msby volleyball team and wanted to major in something art related but ended up going into athletic training with sakusa. in high school, atsumu, osamu, and him would very frequently sneak out at night usually to graffiti a wall and atsumu and him have kept up the tradition. whenever they travel to other cities to play an away game, they’ll try and find the time to go out and leave their mark on the city. in college, he started to do things like leave little snippets of lyrics from romantic songs on walls in sharpie or spray paint </3 he first met y/n in high school and they didn't talk much despite being in the same friend group. he a her from afar but never said anything because he didn’t feel like she knew him well enough that she would return his feelings if he told her. as a result, ever since graduation, he’s been finding small ways to be closer to her. although he isn’t majoring in art, he started to hang around the art department more, and would follow her around whenever she came to develop photos. she’d let him come with her into the department’s dark room and explain the process to him. he tries his best to listen but most of the time he get distracted while looking at her <3 eventually he started to invite her to come wander the city with him in search of street art and told her he’d start sending her photos of art that he found in other cities (which he's totally not making and then sending to her as if he's just randomly stumbled upon the most heartwrenching, romantic art ever). as long as he’s with her he couldn't care less what they're doing; to him, the real artwork is right next to him <3 she’s taking photos of something written on a wall while he’s looking at her <3
miya atsumu & miya osamu °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
atsumu
setter for msby <3 made his bio in retaliation to his brother and then got upset when osamu didn’t care. didn’t even want to go to college but really wanted to play for msby and didn’t want to be left out of everyone else going to school so he’s chilling in communications with bokuto. loves to come to onigiri miya on days y/n works because she gives him discounts and he jokes that she’s a better cook than osamu (which psychologically, for him, is probably true. samu cooks for tsumu and curses the food while y/n tries to put at least a little bit of love into what she makes for him). at some point tried to flirt with y/n and then realized she did not love when he visited because of him but bc he would bring suna. often comes by himself to onigiri miya or brings bokuto with him to ask yn how things with suna, completely ignoring the fact that she has a boyfriend (which leaves her confused about every single life choice she's made) and then will immediately text suna being like “y/n and me are talking about u rn LL sucks to suck i bet ur wondering what she thinks of u"
osamu
always gives suna discounts when he comes and will immediately take over whatever order y/n is working on so that she can make suna’s foof <3 he’s like a double agent for both sides but doesn’t get too involved because things with suga are making it difficult. he’s definitely someone suna goes to a lot for advice and although suna tends to only come on days when y/n works, sometimes on late nights after practice when osamu is the only one left working, suna will come in and they’ll share a drink and talk about y/n and more
bokuto koutarou & oikawa tooru °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
bokuto
wing spiker for msby and self proclaims himself as the ace <3 sakusa and him beef a little bit about it but the entire team is made up of doubles anyway so they kind of share the title. he’s matching users with atsumu and oikawa and also asked akaashi if they could have matching headers <3 akaashi sent him his current header which bokuto immediately started using <3 my guy has got so many friends and is loved by everyone so he’s actually having the best time of his life in college!!! besides when exams come around. then he’s hiding under a table and it takes the collective effort of akaashi, atsumu, and oikawa’s to get him out.
oikawa
second setter for msby! atsumu and him actually lowkey connected immediately and the team often uses a 6-2 rotation to utilize two setters and it’s been working out pretty well. other volleyball teams quiver hearing about msby’s lineup LMAO. he’s also a photography major which has led to suna often asking him how y/n is doing <3 does a lot of portraits and posts his works on a separate photography account. has started to join atsumu and suna when they sneak out while on away games to find somewhere to leave a piece of art.
extras <3
suna, atsumu, osamu, bokuto, and oikawa all live together
it is either very peaceful or a living hell
atsumu and bokuto will get riled up about something together and start having an energetic burst while suna isolates in his room (or more often is slipping out to go hang with y/n)
oikawa’s pretty chill and is in his actually-studying-for-exams era
osamu’s usually busy at work
so it’s peaceful (according to their definition) when not everyone is home but sometimes atsumu will start beefing with osamu about something and shit hits the fan
suna is heavily heavily heavily inspired by this guy named @/greg_goya on instagram
when i had this idea for street art i really spent an hour on instagram and google combined looking for this guy bc the art he does is totally what i was going for
and when i say inspired i mean suna is literally greg goya. i will probably use screen shots from my man greg in this smau so ty to him in advance he's a king 👑
both "exhibits" or friend groups are lowkey one big friend group but there's a small natural divide bc most of the ride or die bros are from inarizaki and some of them (cough atsumu cough bokuto cough suna if he didn't want to be around y/n 24/7 cough) said that they NEEDED a bros only gc

As a trans man, you have no idea how rare it is to find headcanons on straight/bi/pan trans gender headcanons on characters. Most the headcanons are 'Beautiful gay trans man baby' or 'My strong trans lesbian girl'. It's worse some of my LBGT+ friends broke off my friendship with me when I came out as straight and dating a awesome supportive pan cis girl. I feel less welcome and feel like a thing that needs requirements in the community I'm supposed to be in. They only like the LGT, instead the B
It’s rather ironic at times how the LGBTAQ+ community (well, I call it that rather than LGBT) is supposed to be about unity and acceptance, yet it’s now notorious for policing, borderline segregating, othering, and gay-te keeping. ADoseofBuckley coined the term “gay-te keeper” on his Scumbags of the Internet series where in that video he calls out a lesbian for shaming a bi girl just because the bi girl hadn’t had experience in dating women yet.
Additionally, on ADoseofBuckley’s video, I noticed that there were a couple of comments from people who are LGBTAQ+ themselves that were not part of the community - some even hating it or just blatantly refusing to ever be part of or associated with them. Many of them were bi/pan/demi along with one gay man whose account really stuck out to me.
With his account, this man mentioned that he’s gay (I’m not sure if he was cis or trans, he didn’t mention), yes, but not at all flamboyant or campy in the slightest because that just wasn’t his style. Yet, when he came out, everyone in the community would say stupid shit like “oh, then why are you pretending to be straight?” or “I’d never guess you were gay!” and he got irritated. I did, too, because, in real life, I’m considered quite “manly” due to my more masculine behaviour (even my voice is considered “manly” due to being a low alto). Apparently, that must mean I’m a lesbian, a transwoman or at least attracted to girls.
Tumblr is a confusing cesspool where the majority are idiots who are hypocritical and usually don’t stand by their beliefs. It claims to be accepting of LGBTAQ+ people, but like what you said: only the LG and T matter, but even then, the T only matters if it’s with an L or a G. Otherwise, they’ll be happy to tell you to fuck off.
Apparently, it doesn’t matter if the girl is not straight or cis, or if her male partner is not straight or cis, either. You’re a girl dating a guy? Tough luck: doesn’t matter if you’re a bi-cis girl and your boyfriend is trans and pan. You’re still in a “het” relationship so that means you’re a traitor or unimportant.
People should seriously quit being stupid because it’s seriously harming people. Heteromantic and heterosexual means to be “romantically/sexually attracted only to the opposite sex.” Last time I checked, biromantic and bisexual means “romantically/sexually attracted to both sexes.” Pansexual means “does not care for sex or gender as they’re not restricted by the gender binary”.
There’s also the harmful stereotype that most people think being trans means something along the lines of “ultimate gay person” or can only be gay. Never mind that there are straight, bi, pan, demi and ace trans people out there. Even then, somehow being a straight trans person makes one “lesser” in the LGBTAQ+ community simply because they are straight. I think it’s because most have some sort of beef with straight people, in general. Though I can assume it’s from homophobia and a bad experience pertaining to it, there are some who are simply like that because they are young, sheltered, impressionable or mixes of all of these. Regardless, I’m still highly unsympathetic towards such people because they’re simply judging a group of people rather than a person. Don’t condemn or bash a group of people just because of one or several assholes from that group. The only exception to this I’d have are groups like Neo-Nazis.
Most of my headcanons for characters I like rarely involve trans headcanons mainly because of Tumblr being stupid and frothing at the mouth in regards to fictional characters that aren’t even theirs, to begin with. However, when it comes to writing my own characters and stories, I do involve trans characters from time-to-time. One story idea I had featured a pan trans-boy as the protagonist, but I’m a little nervous about this idea due to the more psychological aspects I want to explore (namely body dysmorphia from a virtual reality game since you live as your ideal avatar in the game). Another idea had a straight trans-woman as a party member (she’s a Monk though Final Fantasy style) who has a close friendship with the only straight person in the group (a man who’s a Dragoon).
As for you breaking off your friendships with those people - honestly, good riddance. They just strike me as not being real friends. Unless you did something heinous like murder, that’s no reason to abandon or be nasty to you. You deserve friends who treat you well not because of something shallow like your race/sexuality/gender/belief/social class but because they like you as a person.
That saying so, that’s great your girlfriend is supportive! All the best to the both of you! :D

San Diego International Boat Show
Three words about the show, hot but cool. Confused yet?
First of all, we want to thank the San Diego International Boat Show and Synergy Communication l.l.c for giving Callousthenics Wings the opportunity to cover their events and had so much fun! This event is still going until Sunday June 18th at Spanish Landing East.
Content :
Locations
Tips
Experience
Entrance is by the Sheraton in Harbor Island Dr, across from San Diego International Airport Terminal 2.
The Tower (Rook) icon is where the bulk of the show located, while the pin drop is the entrance. The free parking located near the Hilton San Diego Harbor Island.
Places to go for breakfast before the show or dinner after (because there are yummy food truck and shaved ice truck inside) are located in Little Italy, near the waterfront park seen on the right side of the map above. Parking is curbside, coin/card. Another option is to Liberty Station on the left side of the map. There are plenty of food options inside their Liberty Public Market (which is still expanding) with free parking everywhere.
This is what Sara, our giveaway winner said about the show,
“Callousthenics Wings was very generous and sent us to the boat show this year. The kids and I had a blast looking at the boats and gear. My 4 year was trying to talk me into bringing a boat home! The kids and I shared a huge shaved ice to beat the unusually warm weather and it was the perfect way to top off a great day.”
Secretly, we are with the minions about owning a boat.
Tips for San Diego International Boat Show:
Water, water, WAH-TAAH!. Preferably inside a thermos or anything that keep it cold. Or do what we do, we bring packed ice inside our insulated bottles and use the water reservoir (camelbak) to refill.
If it’s still too hot, use cooling towel, or do what we do for our desert hike, get a small bathing suit (better with tankini than bikini or one piece) wet it and put it around the neck just like cooling towel, voila!)
Make sure not to touch the bed inside the boats and have the lil ones travel on the sofa with their knees. You have to take off your shoes and their feet will leave a mark on the sofa.
Don’t be afraid to ask, but don’t keep on opening stuff. Collect all your crew and have them in one spot to see what’s inside the drawers and or cabinets. The last thing you want is a dirty look from the seller. (They won’t let you touch the button and console, be aware of that)
Get into the boats on the water, most of them have their AC blasting. Just make sure not to keep on getting in because it’ll take for--e--vah to go around.
Get the free samples, of course, mah horse!!
Ask for children’s or hands-on area, special boats, and workshops area before hand. We missed it all because the younger crews started to complained about the motion sickness (the platform on water swayed) and heat.
With that squared away, let’s just dive into it.
San Diego International Boat Show
Only several seconds after the car shut down, she felt the heat crawling on her skin. She hurried to open the car, but it didn’t help. Should she pant? Her mouth felt the cold icy beverages, oh she just imagining that. With a loud sigh, she resorted to the hose out of the camel bag and sipped.pant? Her mouth felt the cold icy beverages, oh she just imagining that. With a loud sigh, she resorted to the hose out of the camel bag and sipped.
“Mom, hot!”
“Let’s get closer to the bay.”
She dropped the hose back in the car and sprinted ahead. Her eyes scoured the park for any shade to make the waiting bearable. “Can we get in now?”
Mom approached her. “It’s still 20 minutes, plus we are waiting for aunties and coz.”
A post shared by Callousthenics Wings (@slothchef) on Jun 17, 2017 at 7:22pm PDT
@slothchef in Instagram.
She knew they were waiting. If they weren’t, Mom would’ve park straight in the hotel, instead of waiting for the others then move. “How much longer?”
Lucky for her, really not that long. The appearance of her buddies made her threw away any beef she had with the weather. After parking again, the gate was just right ahead, passed the lobby, followed the red arrows, and into receiving a bag full of goodies. Was that sand toys?
“Where’s the simulation?” Mom asked after peering into the bags full of books or was it magazine?
They followed the guide’s pointing finger to the booth. Curiosity invaded everyone around her. She only remembered about driving a boat but not real. Adults were weird, why wouldn’t it be real when she’s driving it?
A game! That’s what it was. Mom could’ve just said it. Twice! Everyone wanted to go twice, or maybe even more if they could’ve. She knew Mom would have jumped onto the seat too. Even she was so impatient to go. Line, line! But at least she knew them. Despite the growing urgency, she wouldn’t want to be the jerk who cut in front of her buddies.
She narrowed her eyes. Buoys. Where’s the yellow buoys she saw from behind her friend’s head. Around the lake too. What happened? She looked around the screen. Sailboats, water, water, speed boats, sailboats. Where are they? Should she try looking for it? The answer was not what she wanted. “We’re just by the entrance, lots more to see,” said Mom.
They’re going, FINE, they’re going, only after she got the life jacket. “Blue one please.” She shoved the red back into the box. Pheww.
No bigger ones? But why?
“All same size,” the nice lady said.
Oh well, at least she got a bag for herself. Mom had one, so must she.
“Something smells good.” Whatever Mom was walking to, she saw smoke coming out. Definitely wanted some too.
“Careful dear, it’s hot.” A long dark maroon sausage came out smoking and did she say smelled wonderful too?
The older man was so nice. She got more than one slice and even bread too. A triple sandwich? Oh, Mom, right, shouldn’t forget one for Mom.
“Do you want to eat something else?” Mom approached her as she relaxing at the swing. She turned to her buddies. They left the adults because between organic fruit and vegetables to giant swing to sleep on, we all knew which won.
“Nope.” She went ahead and pointed at the boats. “Can we get up there?”
“Ask.”
Of course, how could she forget to ask the right person?
“No shoes.” That’s all they got from all the sellers and off they went.
Three questions. She only wanted three questions, “What kind of boat is this? How fast does it go? Is it easy to drive?”
She thought, if she remembered correctly, Monterey speed boat? Yeah, that sounded right. That one went all the way to 30 is mph? There were bigger ones. Looked fancier too. Must’ve been more expensive.
“Right Mom?” Mom pointed at the numbers. Yep, that was more numbers than she cared about.
Central Console Fishing Boat? Is that the bigger ones? Should be, it got those boxes with transparent lid for the catch, the seller said. She really thought it even as big as her. At least everyone said it was easy to drive, just like cars. She couldn’t even drive those yet.
“This one? Goes to about 60-70 miles per hour.” That must have been fast. Although per hour sounds slow if her memory served her right. Maybe take notes? Nope. Mom should record this. Like last time she did the interviews for the art festival. Not her problem.
Speed boat is just like driving a car?
Where they store a smaller catch in the fishing boat.
It’s actually comfortable!
With fancy buttons too. No touch though.
“There’s more on the water.” She thought it was the last boat. Hearing the word water made her hopped down as fast as she could, ignoring the scorching heat from the concrete baked sun.
She and her pals sprinted down to cross the bridge. Wait! Yellow life jackets of course, the fashion statement of the day. Whoops, didn’t expect the swaying platform. It’s swaying everywhere. Fun! Like in an actual ships!
“Ships...”
“It’s not ship. A ship is much bigger, these are boats,” corrected the man on the boat.
She could feel her face warming up. Or was that the sun? Alright, boats. It’s kind of hard to jump onto the boat from the platform when both sides were swaying. She gotta time it right, but Mom didn’t help either.
“Whoooo, careeefuuulll. You fall, you swim.”
“Moom!” She could hear Mom were still chuckling.
Even the bridge swayed a little.
Aaah! Could’ve stay here forever, if only...
A post shared by Callousthenics Wings (@slothchef) on Jun 16, 2017 at 9:22pm PDT
If only she could drive. This steering wheel even almost as big as her.
She rolled her eyes, but that’s after she landed on the other side. One boat, two, three, four, so nice inside she would just stay in. However, she really loved going around. Really couldn’t refuse the free stuff, as she shouldn’t anyway.
“Where’s the paddle boarding?” Mom voiced her question, but right about then all she was thinking about is the melting ice she could’ve have right at that instant. The sun is mighty high in the sky and it’s summer, so that didn’t really tell her how late it was. There still one booth she really liked.
“Visit Mexico!” That was THE booth. It reminded her of her Puerto Nuevo’s visit with Mom and Pap. One word, no actually two, go again. Yep, anytime soon preferably.
“I wanna go back,” she begged Mom.
“We will.” Mom smiled.
Yep, they will but for that day, shaved ice truck by the bridge sounded mighty exciting.
The Boat Show is held usually in the midst of summer about a couple weeks after the end of school year.
Have you been to any boat show? How was your experience?

I was summoned by the voices in my head- Episode 2
lol I'm probably going bye bye
So we managed to come up with a plan, Karen Kendall Alex and I will vote Ashley and it's only because I said she was contemplating self voting and I counted that as "I heard her name" SJAHFDHOFAOPUDJ like ugh it sucks but somebody needs to go tonight so =/
Well I just heard from Kendall that everybody is voting me out but honestly Im not mad at all. I almost quit this game twice so this will be just as good hahahahaha
So here we are again.. my tribe is heading to tribal for the second time in a row & right now I pretty much feel like a sitting duck. Lexi & I were the only two people really competing in the challenge & that pisses me off.. so I approached her with a deal that since the two of us were the only ones who tried, let's not vote for each other & she agreed.. so now the question is who DO we vote for? Of course I'm pushing for Casey, but both Lexi & Ruben are very good at not directly answering my questions of "who do YOU wanna vote for?" Like they always find ways to just kinda circle around the question & so finally I got tired of the shit & I said straight up to Lexi that Casey hasn't been pulling her weight & I want her gone next.. last tribal I noticed how paranoid & scared Lexi was getting because of the rumors & so this time I decided to play that to my advantage. I told her that basically the entire returnee villains tribe is still spreading the rumors & targeting the both of them. I told her that even though I don't believe the rumors, that won't stop the returnees from eventually targeting the two of them.. so I said that me, her, Ruben, and Dom need to just stick together & vote out the weakest tonight.. I'm hoping that the thought of the entire returnee villains tribe targeting her, will be enough to convince Lexi to vote my way tonight.
I'm shook! Steven got rocked out WHEW Honslee Im kinda sad bc I wanted to work with Steven later on, now I gotta talk to more of the newbie heroes and see who I can potentially trust 👀.
Ok so I was talking lexi and I'm yellin bc she's v pissed @ her tribe like she doesn't want her tribe winning anything at all skdndondk N U T! I'm here for it honslee! I want the other heroes tribe to self destruct ! Hopefully I can get something to lexi out tho bc I want her to stay long enough to wreak havoc on that tribe honestly truly
Ok so last night my alliance had a call to discuss who we should vote out and we came to the consensus that ace will be getting elimed, anyway so gav said that he was gonna talk to Ashley about the vote or whatever so fast forward to this morning I have a nice talk with miss Ashley about making amends after Sweden and i think we're on good terms now. So we discuss who to vote and she said that gav told her to vote ace and that Kendall is spearheading the anti ace campaign and honslee? It threw me off a little bc who throws their alliance member under the bus like that, like BINCH! Just say that that's what majority seems like and be done with it, she doesn't need any reasons. Ok so a little later I talk to ace and tell him that the vote is Ashley and that I have Kendall and Kendall has Alex so he made a chat with me and Kendall and I told him that we didn't need Alex in the chat bc we'd have majority after this, i also did it so Alex wouldn't get sus of me and Kendall soooo anyway! As of rn ace has majority vote and I think I'm in a good spot overall????
Oh my god... I was considering Steven to be someone who would be a driving factor of this season and it's just weird to think of him snuffed so quickly. I never would've thought this tribe would actually go to rocks and now it's like the rubble after the nuclear blast, it's time to repair and renew. We need to become strong again or else we'll fail miserably. On the bright side, that rock draw worked out amazingly well for me. Liam's survived and he's pretty much indebted to me so I got him as a free number for me :~) and Whitney was loyal to Liam and I so it looks like we hold the majority down 'ere. Not to mention that my relationships with the returnees aren't half bad - I've only spoken to two of 'em, but still. Alex Crooks and I are cool - he's the first guy I ever ruined my game for :') So that's a swell flashback I suppose. And then there's Gavin. I can't say he's the most trustworthy from what I've seen and heard in the ol' wiki community, but if he's selling me some deals I ain't gonna pass on 'em. And he did try to spill some tribe tea so hopefully h'ain't lying. (Linus, that reference was for you! It was all for you!)
I did NOT let that other Lexi leave WHEW. That challenge flew by REAAAAAL quick and thank goodness we won! Now let's just hope my boys on the Heroes returnees ain't screwed 'ere. But it looks like Dom's getting a strike for not adding any of us nice guys, so I bet he's getting the boot. Ruben and Casey did also disappear during the challenge so it could be them if they're basing this off of challenge performance here :v
That feel when you've been working on a terrible project I seriously regret making since it hurts my eyes all day so you haven't talked to anyone :v Thank goodness there's no Tribal and I'm on a boring tribe!
And by boring I don't mean the people are boring, they're kinda lit, we just are hella quiet.
Oh my god I literally went to rocks our first tribal I'm beyond shocked I made it out alive. Steven was taken out which was okay but Lexi would have been better for sure. But guess what we won this challenge so no voting for us I'm so happy we kicked ass
Okay FUCK YES DAHLING WE JUST WON IMMUNITY. So all day I've been bonding with Jordan Pines and like FUCK I actually really like Jordan. So I told him that I would have his back if we went to tribal, and he literally shut down my talk with "let's not talk stratagey now I just wanna get to know you more" which honestly, who wouldn't be scared by that, like FUCK. Anyways, I talked to Jordan and got to know him more, I just hope he considers me as someone he wants to keep around. Now, on the other hand I have my ally Sarah who I trust, you all pretty much know this by now. So Sarah told me that she needs to call me tonight because she has some info, which is terrifiying, but i'm glad she trusts me as much as I trust her, it feels good. Now ANYWAY Jordan came up with this brilliant plan for immunity and it WORKED. This witch ain't gonna be fourth boot this time around, IT'S GAME TIME BITCH HAHA!
Ruben and I got close. We are voting Monte out tonight because Lexi/Casey have beef from a prior game. That way we are swing votes and we decide what happens.
Whew this round has been exciting. Idol hunting is going decently me and Dom are working well together but unless he's lied neither of us got anything yet. I sort of took control of the tribe on this challenge being like heres what we need to do and heres how we need to do it. It was definitely a high risk, high reward scenario but it paid off. We won the challenge in an impressive 2 seconds and like I think i got the credit for that win. I am just really talking to people, keeping myself known in the chats as like a fun member of the tribe. Idk if its paying off but as of now I think I am in good standing with the tribe. We are probably swapping soon so I am just trying to work that tribe unity as long as I can hoping that however a swap goes we can work as a 6 and not a divisive unit. I think i'm doing good right now but time will tell.
Things are going pretty great right now honestly. I started out a little shaky and nervous but it seems like Monte and Casey both want each other gone now and both Lexi/Dom pulled me into a 3 person alliance. I think if I ride with those two I could find myself in a really good position long term. Both seem to consider me a potential final 2 and that's the best situation to be in on a small tribe. I think Monte should be going home unless there is a blindside coming up on me rip. For now I want to make sure Monte goes home so that everybody remaining on this tribe trust me 1000%. Also I have NO problem going to tribal more lol. Hero Lexi could be in trouble on her tribe with the whole rock draw thing going down and since that situation I feel like I'm in a more solid position to throw comps if I have to in order to keep her safe. Although I didn't have to do much this challenge to throw it considering Monte and Casey made it fucking easy for me by not showing up lmao. Good shit though
Okay, just for the record, that was BEAUTIFUL. Steven who was setting up my vote was rocked out, and now Miss Negative (Lexi) is a sitting duck, she knows it's 3 vs 2. Bitches, don't fuck with me next time.
Regan is pressing a gun to my head right now send help
youtube
What do I wake up to? Johnny messaging me that the tribe is going to "R O C K S..." and I'M HYPE! It's so early and already players are being messy as heck. Anyway, I'm glad Steven was taken out because from what I could tell, he seemed to be a schemer with real game know-how. Here's to hoping we don't need to go to tribal in the premerge!
I've been sick the past two days. I feel like it's hurting my social game a bit when I come online to see 100 messages or so. I don't want to be left out of the loop but it is worrisome. From what I gathered, Ace/Ashley are trying to get myself/Gavin to work with them. While on the flip side, Kendall/Karen are trying to get myself/Gavin to work with them. It's an interesting position for us two to be in. Gavin is my number one at this point, and I have zero doubt that we'll make the right move in the end. The problem is, is that Gavin/Myself have differing opinions on who to work with. I love Kendall/Karen, Gavin loves Ace/Ashley. I want to vote out Ace, and if I can't convince Kendall/Karen to vote out Ace then I will end up voting out Karen or Kendall. Because I can do that. I have that power to do this with Gavin, and that's what I'll do.
I always find myself having to reassure Gavin a ton. He's paranoid about the power duo of Kendall/Karen, but we're all literally fine. He's worried about being a fourth wheel and that I find understandable. But his worries make less sense when I'm more with him than I am with Kendall/Karen. I have his back 100%, but having to constantly assure him that him and I are golden, it's a bit tough and a tad sketchy.
Welp it turns out I remind Gavin of his ex girlfriend... not sure how to feel about that :P.
I feel shitty Oh so shitty I feel so shitty and hitty and gay And I pity Any person who feels in anyway~ Thank you thank you, you are all too kind! Well, not you on the left, or you in the front row or you reading this line. That's right you smug bastard I know what you did last summer! ... where was I going? Oh right we have tribal! Karen wants to vote Ace out and last night, in my sleep induced haze, I agreed with her but now that I am more lucid, I realize that this is a terrible idea. Ace is someone who I would always have in my back pocket. You could say they are my.... Ace in the hole. Fuck you I thought it was funny. Besides, I'm being to worry a bit about Karen. She's intelligent and calculating, for the time being this is good and it'll be in my best interest to keep her. But at some point, I'm going to have to get rid of her and I'll need some support. I don't know Ashley and I barely know Gavin. The only person I am solidly aligned with is Alex. And while Karen did call Ashley a bitch in Sweden, that doesn't mean that that bridge is completely gone. She could very well have her in her back pocket. Still, I will try not to do anything impulsive. The last few times I tried to save someone, I ended up fucking up real badly. Like to a comical degree kind of fuck up. I won't go out of my way to save them but I'll be damned if I don't at least advocate on their behalf.
I JUST NEED TO GET 6TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL THIS TIME I WAS WORRIED ABOUT WINNING! ALL THIS TIME I WAS AFRIAD OF FUCKING UP BUT I UNDERSTAND NOW! I HAVE A MISSION A DUTY AMOUNG MY PEER (DREW) TO GET 6TH PLACE! TO BECOME THE ANTI JENN AND KAIT! I CAN NOT FAIL! LIKE JOAN OF ARC I WAS SUMMONED BY THE VOICES IN MY HEAD AND I SHALL SUCCEED!
I'm so sad :( I need to find the idol and try very hard in challenges or else I'll be the next person to leave
I am so glad we won immunity. It for sure would have been me or Lexi next if we had gone to tribal. It looks like Johnny and Whitney aren't too upset that I didn't vote with them but I can't take my chances. I had been searching for the idol for a while with no luck so I asked Lexi to help me find it. She found it within a few hours lol. We didn't find the idol but we found the idol grid. It's relieving to know it couldn't have been found right away. This gives me and her time to find it. Hopefully we'll get it before anyone else and we'll be set for the rest of the time on this tribe. I doubt anyone else on our tribe has found the idol page or would suspect that we found it. I'm thinking long term so the game plan would be using the idol on lexi and getting rid of Liam. If we happen to go to a tribal council after that we could try to get Whitney or Johnny to flip to our side. Even if they don't want to we can always force a tie so Lexi and I still have a strong chance of succeeding. We just have to find that idol!
So i was very pissed steven got rocked out. Liam deserved to go. He did nothing for the challenge. I think whitney had a pre existing relationship with liam. I got called out for ruben being my boyfriend and thats why they wanted me out but oh well. Him and Robin went to rocks for me and i was grateful. I don't like Whitney at all. She doesnt even give me a chance and i think i know why. But whatever i could care less about her lol. Johnny stopped talking to me so he must be scared or something if he wont even talk to me. Liam is useless to me. Like why is he even here lol. I'm only still helping my tribe win because of robin. I could care less about the other 3. I got the idol board and we all know i need a idol more then anyone.

The Essentials Kit If you love Brian Regan like I do, you can't hear that and not immediately think of his airport bit about the essentials kit they hand you when you lose your luggage. "Oh THIS is essentials kit. Well what was all the crap I was packing?" Anyway, here are a few things that I have found to be "essential" whilst living here, and have made this experience sweeter and easier. 1) Consistent (not constant) Communication From Home I have a posse that keeps my phone blowing up, and its the best. The group texts with my girl siblings and my mom take up most of the storage on my phone (with the constant picture sharing, videos, and reactions). My soon-to-be sister Erica has been inundated as well, and its been a wonderful education for her into exactly what she is getting herself into. Also, my bff Kate is constantly up in my grill for deets. I love that. I love that she is persistent and she pursues me. It is so meaningful to have her as a lifeline to my normal life and to know she will be there when all this ends and I'm trying to find my way back into my old life. Kate, and other amazing friends, have been kindly sending me encouragements throughout our stay here. I took a hiatus from reading through Facebook after the election. I won't lie about it, it was depressing, and that was the reason I stopped. I couldn't handle reading through the hate and hostility, knowing I was miles away from really being of any help or comfort. So cutting that lifeline has been hard, but I find it gives me more reason to reach out and text or call people individually. If someone is on my heart, I just contact them directly, not scroll though their posts to catch up. Which, now that I think about it, sounds stalkerish... I don't want to spend my entire time here electronically bound to my home state. But having some interaction to look forward to every day from home makes this new world not so foreign. 2) Weekly and Monthly Skype/FaceTime Sometimes texting is not enough. Once a week, both of our parents will face time us, and read bedtime stories to Tristan. It has had a dramatic affect on him. He looks forward to seeing them. He really engages with them and what they are saying. And he brings them up in conversation often because he feels like he sees them often. Maintaining that bond has proven to be one of the sweetest gifts since moving here. We also love our 911 Skypes with Joe and Wendy Stigora- who listen to our struggles and counsel us from afar. And anytime a friend is available to just catch up, we love getting to talk in real time. 3) Coordinating Play Dates If there is one thing I could pass on to the moms of the next PC class, it would be to work with the other moms around you to creatively bear the burden of entertaining our kids. Sometimes it is just as simple as trading off whose toys are being played with. One thing that has been a real ACE up our sleeves are the various "passes" we each have purchased that we spread around. It's like a game of Pit. We all have cards and trade cards to benefit from each other's memberships. I take people to the zoo with me every time I go. People take me to the Science Center, or the YMCA pool. I told the group about the Polar Express event at the library. Someone else coordinated a trip to the Fire Co. If we find something fun to do in the area, we spread the word. If there is a good deal on clothes or food somewhere, we share it. No one here is on an island unless they choose to be. Just this weekend I will be displaced from my home for two days while they fix our bathtubs. I will be house hopping and car sharing, coordinated by six other families. It takes a village, and mine rocks. 4) Good Food I have taken this opportunity away from PA to practice some homemaking skills I don't feel are my strengths (there is an endless selection). One of them is cooking. With a smaller budget, I want to be creative, organized, and manage the money wisely. And I want to EAT GOOD FOOD. Here are some of my favorite recipes I have tried so far: {When In KY, Use Bourbon} - Bourbon Chicken (I roasted it, not smoked it) http://amp.timeinc.net/myrecipes/recipe/bourbon-smoked-chicken?source=dam -Food Court Bourbon Chicken (great crockpot recipe) http://www.kitchentrials.com/2016/04/26/bourbon-chicken/ {Must Have Chinese Comfort Food} -Lo Mein (I usually double the sauce, and excuse the language in the title) http://damndelicious.net/2014/10/03/easy-lo-mein/ -Mongolian Beef http://therecipecritic.com/2015/08/slow-cooker-mongolian-beef/ -Chicken and Cashews (I've tried two or three recipes and this was my fave) http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/cashew-chicken/ {Cold Winter Comfort} -Guinness Beef Stew (I made the box Cheddar Biscuits from Red Lobster) http://hostthetoast.com/guinness-beef-stew-with-cheddar-herb-dumplings/ -Beef Bourguignon (I've always wanted to try this, and it did not disappoint! I served it over my creamy mashed potatoes, recipe below) http://theanswerisalwayspork.com/julia-childs-beef-bourguignon/ {Sides That Stand On Their Own) -Pineapple Pear Salsa (grab a shovel for your mouth) http://carlsbadcravings.com/teriyaki-chicken-tacos-with-grilled-pineapple-pear-salsa/ -Melissa's Smooth Taters Boil water and a few strips of bacon on the stove. Peel and roughly cut Yukon potatoes. Add them to boiling water and let cook until soft to touch (use a fork). Sift potatoes out and place into a blender. While the blender is running, add ladles of the boiling water into the potatoes, until the texture is thinned and smoothed like a milkshake. Put mashed potatoes into a large bowl and add one brick of softened cream cheese, a small container of sour cream, 1/3 cup of heavy whipping cream (optional). Stir until blended. To season, add Montreal steak seasoning to taste. {Get Healthy Soup} -Best Chicken Soup Ever (use whatever noodles you like, and it's good with or without the heavy cream) http://carlsbadcravings.com/white-chicken-lasagna-soup-recipe/ {Pasta Please} -Steak and Spinach Pasta http://www.girlgonegourmet.com/pasta-with-steak-and-spinach/ -Cajun Chicken Pasta http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/cajun-chicken-pasta/ 5) A Library Card There are plenty of days where we keep things chill, and having magical worlds at our fingertips help the hours speed by. Especially when our possessions are so limited here, it is wonderful to "own the world" for a day and then give it back (and know we don't have to store it!). 6) Carine Mackenzie's "My 1st Book of Questions and Answers." Someone at the PC was using this and we stole their idea. It is an excellent starter kit for teaching theology to the young mind. It has opened up a whole new world of dialogue for Tristan as he begins to process things more deeply and comprehensively. 7) Scripture Memory I am a singer by nature, and music is a common force of our household. So finding ways to incorporate that into our day is vital for me. There are a lot of kids-songs out there, but I find that it takes a unique gift to put scripture verses into singable melodies. And in all my searching, I keep coming back to Steve Green's Hide 'Em In Your Heart, and GT and the Halo Express. I grew up listening to them, and I just can't improve on their catchiness. I hear Tristan constantly singing them when he is absentmindedly doing something else. He knows so many verses now that he references them often throughout the day. "What's many mansions? What does it mean to be children of God? What is a shepherd? What is a soul? How can a joyful heart be good medicine? Will God always forgive us?" He asks me so many good questions as a result of these memory verses. They are on Spotify and YouTube (or you can purchase them on Amazon). The other tool I have loved is The Kingdom Chums "Top Ten." It's an old cartoon on YouTube. But it is a very winsome and easy to follow musical on the Ten Commandments. And again, Tristan and I sing them when we reach an applicable moment for instruction. 8) Go For Gold We won't really win any awards this year, so we are going for "most visited student of the year." We love that almost every month so far we have seen someone we love from home and shared a meal with them. Family, friends, pastors. We are well loved. And we are so grateful for those connections. We have more visits lined up until we leave, and I think it's safe to say that we will have had a guest or two every month we attended for the year. Too bad we don't have a bigger place! 9) Support The Locals If you are going to eat out, don't pick a chain. And I'm not saying that because I am a food snob. I'm way less concerned about where I eat, and more focused on who I get to eat with. BUT, I will say that anywhere you sojourn, try to embrace the unique opportunities there, especially when it comes to cuisine. This also includes festivals or town events. There are so many good places that are cheap, and you won't find them anywhere else in the world. Date nights don't happen often, but when they do, we try to make them count. 10) Make The Most It's easy to be torn between "get to know everyone" and "I'll only be here for a short time, I don't want to make the transition any harder." But I'm so glad God pushed me out into the community. I know that my crying will be louder and longer when I move back home, because I have met so many wonderful people. But I also know that the Kingdom of Heaven is going to be so much more familiar to me. I know so many saints I didn't before! If you see someone you want to have a conversation with, just go and ask. The worst that could happen is they say "no thanks." And that's fine, you aren't going to be here forever anyway....you won't have lost anything. I have had so many meaningful conversations with pillars in the faith, that walk it out in fear and trembling, in this community, and I have gleaned so much wisdom. If I see someone doing something I admire, I go over and ask them about it. I want to make the access I have here count in as many ways as it can. And I want to know that everywhere I go, I take more and more people in my heart with me.
