OH RIGHT YEAH IT WAS IN THE DISCORD IDK IF U SAW IT. BUT. So. Marcia (age. Idk. 7? 6? 8 at the oldest) is wandering around the castle and then she finds the entrance to marcellus's underground labyrinth. Like the one that's all lapis and stuff (I know its only accessible by boat in canon but I choose to say there's a little path there that would be too small for most ppl to safely walk on but she's tiny and doesn't fear anything). And shes like :D because!! Labyrinth!!!! Right here!!!!!!!! And she makes her way through it over the course of a few days (leaving and coming back and making marks and getting snacks to take with her) until she finds the middle. And for plot reasons I'm saying that marcellus (when he was younger) snuck back into the Chamber and cleared out the sand and stuff so it's all accessible. And marcias like :O!! And goes in ofc. And she finds marcellus's notebook that documents his work with the immortality potion. And how he actually just kept aging. And marcias like hmph. I bet I could do better than that 😤. And so she leaves and does a bunch of research on alchemy and her parents r very relieved she seems to have moved away from magyk and fully encourage it (even tho alchemy is banned in the castle they're like well we can move if this is her passion now <3 and also they'd be VERY happy to get her away from the wizard tower ahdjdndjnd). And also due to plot I say that modern alchemy doesn't need a 7th son at all it's just some precise timings that 7th sons r for whatever reason naturally able to sense. But u can test for it + do ur own calculations and stuff and u don't need one. So marcias like :) and goes back down to the alchemy chamber and successfuly makes the elixir after a few months of effort. Puts a bit into a plant that's dying as a test and then goes home. Comes back the next day. Her potion is GONE. She gets very upset. Young marcellus appears out of the shadows to thank her for making the elixir and she's like U DRANK IT? MY POTION?? 🥺🥺????? and is SO SO upset and kicks him and runs away. Except marcellus is like well now that I'm young again I'd like to live in my own house again. And buys it. EXCEPT HE'S NOW 2 DOORS DOWN FROM WHERE MARCIA LIVES. AND SHE SEES HIM. AND SHE GETS SO ANGRY EVERY TIME. Except eventually she talks to him and he supports her learning magyk and also alchemy and her parents don't support magyk and her school doesn't support alchemy and he's fine with BOTH so she goes over there a lot to talk and to study and to practice and she's still a little bit mad at him but it's fine. And her "I'm going to be the eow so there" happens sooner than in canon because her parents r talking about moving out of the castle so she can pursue alchemy and she DOES NOT WANT THAT AT ALL. So she leaves home and she's like 12 and is like well. Shit. And goes to marcellus bc he's like. Right there. And yeah stuff happens
