#I have a few more fusions in mind but they're mostly for fun

Oh I can talk about the naming schemes for the fusions, I think it's fun! I can also out who the others are now.....
The names are of things that are pairs, or sets of two!
Love stories are typically romance stories between two people, hence Love Story is Galvarium and Pandora, two entities.
An eclipse, both solar and lunar ones, involve the sun and the moon- Laycie (the sun) and Medlo (the moon). They are Eclipse.
Monarchy of Hearts is a little different- Monarchy suggests one, but "of Hearts", hearts being plural, suggests multiple. Monarchy is the singular entity formed by Tagashei (as Mad Rabbit) and Kisaki (as Alpha Decay). Side note that I think is fun, while Love Story is themed around the heart shape, Monarchy of Hearts is themed around the human heart (Kisaki is part of this, so of course it is!).
Needle and Thread is pretty easy to see, it's two objects. The thread refers to Fate (or Indeterminate Fate), and the needle refers to Yugami. Unlike the last three, which are fusions between lovers, Needle and Thread is a collective of two acquaintances. As long as there is extreme trust between each party, their physical forms can bond together.
Eden is also pretty self explanatory, I think. Garden of Eden, only has Adam and Eve, etc etc etc. This one is Atomus and Evelyn. Again, it isn't a fusion between lovers, but of siblings.

Consider this a rough introduction to my inner world paracosm lore. I don't quite have a name for it yet.
It's personal inner world based paracosm made of imagination, metaphors, symbolism and any place I've seen in my dreams. It focuses primarily on my personified emotions and how they react to the "outer world" of my day-to-day life outside my mind, with some adventures within the inner world while I'm asleep.
Tumblr media
It all started once upon a time a long time ago (about 3 years ago). I was sitting at my desk at home studying a powerpoint for my child development class in university, a chapter on emotional development, bored out of my mind. The powerpoint had a slide with a JPEG of the cast of emotion characters from Pixar's film Inside Out (because every good powerpoint slide has to have a relevant JPEG on it), and I thought to myself upon seeing it "Yeah rewatching that movie would be more fun than reading this". So I proceeded to get distracted doodling what I imaged to be my own version of these emotion characters for myself (bottom of post), and since then they're been popping again and again in my mind.
Tumblr media
Most of the my view of the inner world takes place in the castle-like office and home of my personified emotions, and predictably, they spend most of the day on post at a console managing my feelings throughout the day. When I'm asleep or daydreaming, they're open to other things like hobbies or going outside their home to refresh or explore. There's six base emotion characters, but more complex emotions called dyads and triads can be formed via fusion, as inspired by Plutchnik's emotional theory (and Steven Universe if I'm being honest).
Tumblr media
Besides them, there's other notable characters, so far there's my ear worm who been playing music non-stop in my head for over ten years :v
I'm incredibly invested in this paracosm as of late and it's mostly because (well, besides it being fun) I've found that it's been a pretty great emotional regulation tool. Nowadays pretty much any significant feeling I have gets filtered through visualizing it via my emotion OCs and it's made me a more self aware person. And a just few months ago I found out that doing this kind of thing counts somewhat as internal family systems therapy. I'm pretty excited to share more about it :)

Alexis if your still doing the 5 asks thing. Can you give me your 5 favorite platonic dynamics???
Oooooh let me just *crack knuckles* let's go. I'm going to only list characters once on this list because I have too many dynamics of the boys and everyone else.
Pluto and Dynamis
They have so much potential in both their rivalry and a possible friendship. When not thinking about canon and how they're at each others throats all the time, I think it's just hilarious to think about all the crack content for them. As one can tell, I think about these two very often, especially in Solar Swap AU. I could ramble about these two idiots forever, but I will spare everyone of that.
Johannes and Motti
Do family dynamics count? I have no idea but I love these two very much. I mostly work on wholesome family interactions with the two of them, but trust me, in the back of my mind is a lot of angst. They are so silly in the few episodes they spend together in Fury and I love seeing content for these two. I think it's very fun to think about how, at least in my headcanon, Johannes avoids Motti for a lengthy amount of time due to his own issues and fears. Maybe one day, I'll talk about my ideas for these two at length.
Tithi and Yu
I think their friendship is so cute and I love seeing the two of them interacting on screen. It's also nice to see how much Yu as grown since Fusion and how he's the one acting more mature to help guide Tithi. I haven't explored their friendship much yet but Tithi is heavily influenced by Yu and they often travel the world together to participate in tournaments and help rebuild the world after Fury. I also have plans for the two of them in Solar Swap AU hehe. Once I start brainstorming, it's going to hurt >:)
Team Wang Hu Zhong
Literally look at all of them, need I say more? I don't know if just listing the whole team counts but they are just the found family ever! They are always looking after one another, and they're so supportive of their friends (namely, Team Gan Gan Galaxy). As I work more on He Li Hua, I'm sure I'll make more content for them in my brain eventually.
Hyoma and Ryuga
I don't know why they are on this list, I'm not really big on Ryuga...BUT Hyoma??? Hyoma is so silly and in this platonic dynamic, Hyoma is just such a troll, a loveable menace. Assuming Ryuga does survive, Hyoma is the one that takes care of him as he recovers in Koma and my goodness Hyoma is just so silly. There is just something so funny about these two. I feel like the only times I can enjoy Ryuga in my own headcanon universe is if I turn him into a sloppy wet bag funny guy, and Hyoma succeeds in helping me actually enjoy Ryuga.
I have so many platonic dynamics of Pluto, Johannes, and Dynamis with other characters, but I didn't want them taking this whole top five so I left many of them out. I do have plenty of them though. Honorable mentions to:
Pluto and Rago (They see each other as brothers since they are distantly related. In good AUs where I choose to be nice to Rago, they get along very well)
Johannes and Tetsuya (Stupid people, they either are really good friends or are archenemies there is no in between)
Dynamis and Yuki (I love the idea of them nerding over the stars and history. Their ancestors were very good friends in the past and I think even now in the present, the two of them would be great friends)
Dynamis, King, and Tithi (First started considering this family dynamic after qloof introduced it and man I love these three. While King is usually not as involved since he's out with Team Dungeon, they are always looking out for each other and it's just so nice to see the three of them bond over their similar pasts/upbringings. I can't wait to do more with them in Solar Swap because that's where I have the most development for them and ouch)

Fic writer interview
Thanking @sinni-ok-sessi for the tag!
How many works do you have on AO3? 13
What's your total AO3 word count? 50455 - holy shit, a whole nanowrimo!
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Sleeping Arrangements (Good Omens) Habitual (Good Omens) Project New Hope (MCU) Passing the Time (Star Trek:DS9) With Friends Like These (Star Wars, The Mandalorian)
I think I kind of already knew about the top 3, but I would not have called the last two. Nice to see With Friends LIke These doing well, that was so much fun to write but I never felt like it found its audience, y'know
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Mostly not, alas - it feels very awkward to just repeatedly say Thanks <3, however genuinely and enthusiastically I would mean that! I want emoji reacts to AO3 comments, that's about the level I'm at. That being said, I'll try to make the effort if someone's written me an essay, because it's so cool to get that and I've had some really fun conversations that way
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? I don't really do angsty endings. I've been known to write angsty fic, but I'm usually ending on an upswing...Story-Wise is probably the closest, being as how it's heavily implied that everybody involved is dead, and also Bilbo walks away at the end, but even that to me is more bittersweet than angsty.
What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending? Not Story-Wise, and probably not Lethe. But with the rest I don't know that there's much between them. The ship ones tend to end with a get-together, the dealing-with-shit ones tend to end on a found family gathering, and the funny ones end on punchlines; they're all happy but no stand-outs, if that makes sense.
Do you write crossovers? Write? Sure. Plan out intricately and in great detail? Absolutely. Finish? Never in my life. I tend to have the idea for a lot of crossovers too, but very few of those ever get started. Off the top of my head, the current list includes a Star Trek AOS/Disney's Atlantis fusion, thousands of words of BBC Merlin is happening in Starfleet now, a few incoherent sentences of post-Burial Mounds Wei Wuxian having absorbed all of its ghosts a la Matthew Swift of Blue Electric Angels fame, three scenes of Person of Interest and Castle, several pages of Phryne Fisher and Diana Prince are besties - ohhhhh, and my beloved "Oh Good, My Sith Found the Chainsaw" Star Wars/Lilo and Stitch nonsense, which is the only one of these I have any intention of finishing.
Have you ever received hate on a fic? Not as far as I remember. The closes I ever got was someone commenting on Project New Hope in a very "trying to start a fight about MCU Civil War" way, but claiming they agreed with my opinion on it despite MCU Civil War very much not happening in that universe. Very odd.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Not really? The closest I've gotten in anything published is the blowjob letter in And With It My Constant Mind, which is more of an extended sext, and the ending of Untitled #3...the theme seems to be Cyrano De Bergerac and blowjobs, so make of that what you will.
Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not as far as I know
Have you ever had a fic translated? No.
Have you ever co-written a fic before? Involves too much unfortunate-ordeal-of-being-known, I'm afraid. I'm in awe of people who do this though, the process mystifies me.
What’s your all-time favorite ship? I am invoking my god-given bisexual right not to choose. I cannot do it. Simply impossible. Cyrano/Christian/Roxane of Cyrano de Bergerac fame is probably a front-runner though.
What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will? Lin Chen's Hanahaki Research Project - I was having a lot of fun with character voices and style, and it was challenging me as a writer in interesting ways, but I think it needs more research and investment and full Nirvana in Fire rewatches than I'm ever going to commit to.
What are your writing strengths? Comedy, yearning, and sentences that sound good when you read them aloud.
What are your writing weaknesses? Actually finishing things and comedy (I contain multitudes)
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? Absolutely do not have the confidence to do that, thank you and good night.
What was the first fandom you wrote for? By published work, the MCU, unpublished I was not immune to Supernatural
What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to? Was not expecting this to be the trickiest one to answer, what the heck. Ummm. Idk. I get more enthused by specific ideas than by specific fandoms, I think - if I actively want to write for something it's because I've been Seized By An Idea(TM), Taken Hostage By An Idea, Had My Whole Brain Rewritten To Think Constantly About This Idea, rather than like abstractly, huh, it would be fun to write something for X
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written? I-love-all-of-my-children-equally.gif. No, that's a cop-out. Um. Usually I think whatever I've written most recently gets the most affection, so With Friends Like These is bang at the top. And With It My Constant Mind I suspect is going to have the most longevity at the top of my list, I was living with that one for years and I'm really really proud of how it turned out.
Right, no pressure tagging @starkey @missfangirll @july-19th-club @ereborne and any other writerly folks lurking out there who are interested :D

I saw your fusion AU post and need details (if you’d oblige me). Because this is steven universe inspired, do they dance to fuse? Do they do a gay little dance on the battlefield? This is important information. Also, fusion appearance: do they just look like giant ppl or are they big ol’ abominations? I garner it would vary case by case, but if you have an appearance in mind for [insert fusion name here] know that I’m looking expectantly 👁️👁️ (1/2)
Tumblr media
Fusion AU Post
Asdfghjkl okay so some of this i have written down places already but some of it is only in my brain, and because i am not musically or visually creative some of it never occurred to me, so bear with me.
In this AU Force-wielders—most existing within the Jedi Order and therefore pretty much all assumed to be Jedi, colloquially known as gems or crystals depending on location—are like SU Gems in that they're beings made of light and the Force whose sentience is contained in kyber crystals from which they project their mobile physical forms. When projecting a physical form, their kyber cores are contained within them like SU gems, except when they move into their "weapon forms" aka lightsabers. Since I'm not inclined towards music or dance, and because Steven proves that you can fuse with a gem who's retreated into their gemstones to reform, dancing isn't required to fuse but I think it's probably a cultural and ceremonial things for Jedi proper. And fusion works with non-gems because something something through all things the Force flows.
You're right that fusion appearances vary case by case. Everyone's base appearance is the same as in canon, and while fusions can get very big depending on how many are fused and how stable the fusion is (less stable fusions being bigger) they usually stay under about 8 feet i think.
Fusion appearances are vague because, again, very much not an artist, but I do have a few specifics for some of them: Anyone who fuses with Ahsoka has togruta montrals, anyone who fuses with Maul has zabrak horns plus an extra mouth, anyone who fuses with Anakin has four arms, and anyone who fuses with Rex has four eyes.
Maulakin: keeps Anakin's hair so the horns end up looking almost like a half-hidden crown, and they also have Maul's markings but subtler almost like they're showing from underneath Anakin's regular skin.
Rexakin: most normal-human-looking, dark golden curly hair, one pair of brown eyes above a pair of yellow eyes, deep tan/light brown skin? Only one mouth but voice is slightly double-toned and they talk more like Anakin but move more like Rex.
Maulsoka: from discord dms, "I'm thinking Maulsoka probably looks the most "monstrous" of the bunch: zabrak horns and togruta horns, four eyes, four arms, white markings and black skin with a slick-looking red tint that looks like fresh blood on obsidian, and they're like 7 feet tall."
The list of most to least stable fusions, pasted below from the other post, ranges from about 6'5" to about 7'2" (which doesn't even surpass regular human heights let alone aliens but I think any bigger would just be a little too comical so no building-sized fusions like in the cartoon): Anasoka - Obikin - Obirex - Rexsoka - Rexakin - Maulakin - Obisoka - Maulsoka - Maulrex
As for the fusion lightsabers, I think there's quite a wide variation as well. A Maul fusion will nearly always use a lightstaff and an Ahsoka fusion will nearly always use Jar'Kai, but with the colors yeah probably gradients or maybe a thin core color/ greater outer color. Maulakin would use a lightstaff with a red core but mostly Anakin's blue. Maulsoka would probably also use a lightstaff but one end would be green and the other would be the yellow-green of her shoto, but maybe they would Ahsoka's Jar'Kai with a deep red saber and a much paler red shoto. Much fun to be had there, but as with the character designs, if I was an artist, I'd already have already tried drawing them instead of trying to talk my way through them lol.
Lastly, not one of your questions but because I don't think I've mentioned anywhere else: Maul and Anakin still use prostheses because the fights on Naboo and Geonosis were so traumatic that their projected physical forms were permanently changed, like Pink Pearl's cracked eye in SU.
Aaaaand I think that's everything! Thanks for sending these in btw it was fun to write some of this out even though I'm sure my lack of visual artistic skills is disappointing lmao

I made some drawings on a whiteboard, featuring some other characters I conjured up in my free time. I'll provide some context for these guys as they're shown, but please mind my ramblings.
Tumblr media
First, these guys. These lovely bastards.
For those who have a keen eye, this is formatted in the same way as TWEWY's Fusion Attacks, specifically from the DS.
These are the two main characters of a PMD plot I'm working on(Which I might write a pilot for, if y'all want that), and despite the group consisting of five Pokemon, these two are especially close, and have went on the most missions together out of everyone on the team.
Noibat(Top): Chris. He's the main main character, and he's a human sent here by Arceus, yada yada world-ending event, you get the idea. He has some killer leadership skills, and is typically the peace-keeper of the team. He's normally the one getting into problems with the villians when he doesn't need to(You guys know Izuku, Bakugo and Shoto from MHA? Basically them), and his team is almost always referred to as the "problem children".
Cubone(Bottom): Lucas. Think of him as Chris's "Second-in-command". He's the second opinion everyone needs when it comes to certain topics. His mother is(More like was, but I'll get to that when the time comes) a previous Rescue Ranger, so he has a natural knack for the whole business. He's admittedly a bit emotional, crying when even the smallest things go wrong, but he's still a solid addition to the team, and he'll be there when anyone needs it. He also might have a super-duper crush on Chris, but that's neither here nor there.
For what they're saying in the image:
Chris: "Rush 'em, Lucas-" Lucas: "I'm there!"
I have a whole system similar to the Stride Cross Battle mechanic from TWEWY, and it functions like the Alliances from Super Mystery Dungeon, but again, I'll get to that when I begin writing this thing.
Also, don't mind Chris's earpiece. He just uses it because he isn't quite used to being a Noibat just yet, at the time of this pic.
Speaking of TWEWY...
Tumblr media
Say hi to Azure, I guess(Actually don't, he might wanna throw hands with you).
He's super antisocial, but unlike Neku, he's willing to fight anyone that does as little as breathe the wrong way in his direction.
And his getup? His entry fee for the Reapers Game is his uniqueness, obviously something he didn't know he respected about himself so much until it was taken away from him. Because of that, he dawns an outfit similar to that of our favorite legendary Player, of course with a few changes(And it also explains his amnesia. I just drew him as a dragon just because, which is a habit you'll see in a lot of my drawings from here on).
He's also treated as if he's Neku(Specifically, Neku from the events of Neo onwards); as if he's been through this before. As you can probably guess, he definitely has not. After a certain point, he fights nothing but Boss Noise and even Reapers themselves, leaving his partner very confused as to why this is happening to them. Azure himself has a hard time grasping the fact that he's dead, despite it being told to him about a dozen times, but it comes from a sense of denial. He doesn't want to believe he's dead, mostly because that's something he, like many other people, is scared of... death itself.
Don't mistake Azure's aggression for meanness, however. When the time comes, he does care for people's well-being, and will even risk his erasure for their safety, which is a large reason why he even participates in the Game during his third week instead of just becoming a Reaper, which he calls "The coward's way out".
Here's a fun game: See if y'all can guess which pins Azure's wearing! These are some of the most used pins I had during my playthrough of Final Remix(Which is still going on, if you're curious), and I just wanted to feature them in the picture, as these would be a lot of Azure's favorite pins to use as well.
Don't mind the background, I know I drew the 104 building wrong, okay?

Interview with a Fic Writer
i was tagged by @sleepswithvillains for this and it looks quite fun! tagging @ipreferfiction @tarrevizsla @darthsassacre @basilissa-bastila and @darthmarrsgf for this.
1)how many works do you have on AO3?
SO. i'm doing this with my main account as opposed to just the pseud i actively post on, so uhhhh. this and the next two questions are not counting the 9-fic 470k word series i orphaned a few years ago that i occasionally check in on to see how it's doing. i have... drumroll... 104 works posted on AO3 since February of 2016!
2)what's your total AO3 word count?
2,000,622 words!
3)what are your top 5 fics by kudos?
do you love me, tcw/codywan, 2723 kudos
follow me (and i will bring you home), ST/reylo, 1495 kudos
something inside this heart has died (you're in ruins), tcw/codywan, 1316 kudos
tell the world (i'm coming home), swr/vader + ahsoka, 1291 kudos
i just wanna keep calling your name (until you come back home), tcw/codywan, 784 kudos
4)do you respond to comments? why or why not?
i respond to comments on my current fics, especially because they're pretty niche - kotor and swtor mostly - and so i don't get a lot of them, and i crave interaction. i haven't responded to the comments on a lot of my older ones because i got a lot and it simply got too difficult to keep up with - for example, dylm has 491 comments and that's a bit much to actively respond to all of them
5)what's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?
oh god this one is difficult. probably a rogue one fic back in 2017 i wrote based off the song whiskey lullaby, which is uhhh pretty damn angsty. for the most part i don't tend to end fics with angst, so all my angst is in the middle, and Let Me Tell You What there is a lot of it! but i like healing and growth and change and resolution and happiness so my fics tend to at least end bittersweetly?
6)what's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?
uhhhh hm that's a hard one. i don't usually write explicit fluff either. probably it would be the one and only doctor who longfic i wrote way back in 2016 which ended with a wedding, which i am not linking because it is very old and not good writing and you can find it if you dig really hard.
7)do you write crossovers?
crossovers, not so much. fusions, absolutely yes, i love taking my favorite sw blorbos and putting them into new fandoms. i've got a hunger games fusion back when i wrote for tcw, there's a swtor/mass effect fusion siting in my drafts, and ofc my main project right now is a kotor/swtor/hp fusion that i am very proud of!
8)have you ever received hate on a fic?
i sure have. my very very first fanfic, which i posted on ffn, got outright hate yelling at me saying i'd clearly never watched the canon before lol. was sure an Experience as a very insecure 17 year old new to writing! also i wrote for some pretty ""problematic"" ships back in the day so i used to get shit for that, but that's a bit different imo
9)do you write smut? if so, what kind?
UNFORTUNATELY yes i do. none of it is posted yet, the only scene i've finished needs a lot more of the hp au posted before it has the context it needs, but i do in fact write smut. mostly it is full of emotions like angst and also so many horrible Dynamics, either dead dove or like, D/s shit, or what have you. vanilla sex is incredibly boring to my very ace mind and so i don't really have any interest in reading or writing it.
10)have you ever had a fic stolen?
not as such, but i have seen someone who very very closely copied a fic idea of mine once, including similar plot beats. it wasn't as well-written though so i ignored it.
11)have you ever had a fic translated?
not to my knowledge!
12)have you ever co-written a fic before?
oh god have i. i spent two and a half years writing tcw fic with @ellis-thescribbler, which was a very enjoyable time and ended in 2020. now i split my time between solo projects and a few different things i've got going with @ipreferfiction!
13)what's your all time favorite ship?
oh god this is a hard one. this is a really difficult one. it depends what hyperfixation i'm into at the moment. i still have a soft spot for codywan and rebelcaptain, but i think my favorite is probably going to end up being revalek. it just has all the dynamics i love and many of my favorite tropes are very common for it! i'm also incredibly attached to a couple of exceedingly rarepair ships that are the fault of the discord server and also AC and i interacting without supervision but the only one of those i can list is Cassus Fett/Mandalore the Ultimate. the others make me sound insane.
14)what's a WIP that you want to finish, but don't think you ever will?
i have two of these, both from my tcw days, which won't ever be finished because i no longer write with the other author involved. those would be the all i ask of you series, which is a tcw/hunger games fusion, and the other is the lullabies series, which is a huge rewrite of the latter half of tcw.
15)what are your writing strengths?
oh hmmm this is difficult to answer as i'm not very objective about my own writing. i have been told i am good at fight scenes before, and as much as i hate writing them i do feel fairly confident with them. i like to think i am decent at putting emotion into my narration and making the prose really feel like it belongs to the characters. crowdsourced from my discord: i am apparently very good at fluid prose and vivid descriptions. that is word for word.
16)what are your writing weaknesses?
i have always struggled with coming up with sideplots, and with juggling large casts of characters in scenes, both of which are being heavily tested in my novelization of kotor. i also feel like i spend a lot of time saying the same things over and over again while trying to write description, but description is Hard so
17)what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
well, given that i do this a lot.... i don't always go hunt down conlang words, sometimes i'll just indicate other languages by italicizing the dialogue, but i definitely do it. in a setting as varied as star wars, there are so many other languages, and especially when writing nonhuman characters i like to show that they're nonhuman in more ways than one.
18)what was the first fandom you wrote for?
doctor who, back in 2016! god but it feels like ages since then
19)what's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet, but want to?
Shepard/Kaidan, mass effect. Shepard/Javik, also mass effect. most of my swtor ships exist in my head but i haven't actually written them out on paper yet. mostly i just want to write for mass effect in general, and also dragon age, but i need to finish the dragon age games before i can write for them
20)what's your favorite fic you've written?
i have a few! war has let this age begin (it's where we've gone and where they've been) is the first solo longfic i've written and finished in a long long time and i'm pretty happy with parts of it. it's better to love (whether you win, lose, or die) has some prose that i feel like is probably some of the best i've written, and i'm pretty damn happy with it. and, frankly, the Vader + Ahsoka rebels fic i linked above in the kudos section, tell the world (i'm coming home), which is a Vader defects fic that explores redemption and i like a lot.
finally, i have to add an honorable mention to sharing beds like little kids (but that will never be enough), for the sheer worldbuilding fun i've had writing it, and where i know it's going. when it finishes, with all million+ words that series is going to have, it's going to be my favorite thing of all time.

Today was a pretty excellent day. I had work but it was an excellent shift.
I slept pretty good. But getting up was really hard. James helped me get up. He made me a sandwich. And I got dressed. Wore the skirt I made yesterday. Felt cute.
It was warm out today. But my ride down to the museum was nice. And i got to work setting up the tour. Ran into the other educators. I was only scheduled for one tour today and it was a senior group! I hadnt had one before and I was excited!
And I was right to be! They were so nice. They got here about a half an hour early and they all had to use the bathroom which was very funny. Some of them were actually only like 70 not as old as I was anticipating. But they were all so nice and so sweet. One of the guys in the group was very skinny and tall and had suspenders on. He was very nice to me. He kept telling me how happy I seemed and how I just seem to love life. And that made me feel good. We broke them into two groups and that man and his wife are on my tour and everyone else was swimming. I also have the only two African American women on my tour, who was a mother and daughter. The mother being very very very old and in a wheelchair. It was really interesting the house an older black person on my tour but especially a woman. So I made sure I looked at her face when I said stuff to hear her reaction and kind of see if I was going in the right direction. We're trying to make a concerted effort at the Museum to find ways to talk about the African American story in the industries. And right now I only have a few places so I'm trying to do more research there.
The tour went great. Had a great time talking to them I got laughs and gasps and good questions and statements. They seemed really interested and I just had a really good time talking to them. It was a lot of fun.
And Liz from access art was there! Not on my tour but on an educator strip. A bunch of teachers from different schools with Baltimore city were taking a trip to see what the field trips were like. It was so nice to see her. And I was able to talk to her at the end of my tour and kind of ask some questions about what she's doing and how things are going with her. And encourage her to request me as an educator if she does bring a field trip group there to the museum. And we talked about a little bit of the African American storytelling that I brought up and she thinks that it's great and on her mural tour she's writing something very similar about printmaking so I might try to go on that tour when I get started to get some more information.
After I was done talking to Liz I went back over to my group who was just kind of hanging out waiting for the other half to be done. And the old man came up to me to just tell me how much he enjoyed the tour and he gave me $7. He didn't have to give me any money. So I gave him a hug. It was very nice of him. I actually got a couple hugs. Including from one woman who reminded me of my Grandma Rose a lot and felt like my grandma Rose when she hugged me. Like hard but her skin was soft. Like squishy soft. XU had a layer squish. That doesn't make any sense in sounds terrible but it was a really nice. I like old people.
We finished up and we talked about a couple more things while the other group got together. They went and watched a little movie in a theater and then they left.
I finished up and headed across the street to the bike store to get bolts and inner tubes. And it was hot outside! Like really bad. So I decided I would like halfway home and stop for food somewhere cold. Something with air conditioning. So we went to Xs which is kind of fusion Diner / sushi bar.
My poor waitress was so stressed out. The restaurant is 3 1/2 fours and they had sat me at the bar on the first floor and she was taking orders from both the first and the third floor. And she was really stressed and she kept apologizing. And I told her it would be easier if I just moved to the third floor. And she kept saying no no don't do that and I was like no it was going to make it better I'll do that I don't mind so I moved up to the top floor to try to make her life better. But she was obviously frazzled. So I ended up giving her my $7 tip that I got at the Museum because I felt like she needed it. Need a little bit of a pick-me-up. And I just tried to keep telling her that she was doing a good job and not to worry. I hope it helped brighten her day a little bit.
I came home after that. And when I walked into the apartment the mail person was there. It's a woman. And I asked her about a note that I had had written on one of my packages and she had no idea what it was about so must have been something before I even got to her. She was really nice.
But then I got like inside the building proper and it was filled with smoke. Like I was concerned there was a fire smoke. I got up to my apartment and there's no smoking here thankfully. So then I went up to the third floor and Nicholas and Kimberly who are upstairs neighbors, I'm at Kimberly for the first time this morning on my way out, were opening all the windows because apparently they had burnt pancakes.
They are so cute. They have snakes and plants everywhere and a pet rat and their apartment is just the epitome of a happy Haven. It is filled with crystals and tapestries and hippie stuff. It was wonderful. And they're both so sweet. They invited me inside so I could see the layout of their apartment and they said that if I ever wanted to come up and hang out and they even have a comfy chair and a bookshelf in the hallway that they call their free library and it's all like a vegetarian and vegan cookbooks and meditation books and it was so funny. I'm going to take him up on that though because they seem great and I want to be their friend.
They had to head out though so I came back down to the apartment. I took a bath and cooled off. I've mostly been chilling. I watched videos Frozen I tried to install the pull up bar but I decided I didn't like it in this one doorway so I'm going to move it to the other doorway. I had to repaint part of the wall because of this but that's fine. I change the eyes on the kitty pillow that James got me again. Made them a little smaller and I think it looks better now. I did a little bit of my collage I played with sweet pea. I rested in bed for a while. And then I remembered I need to switch the renter's insurance over and it was a whole thing online and it wouldn't work so I had to call in the woman I talked to you was very nice and I was able to move the insurance policy to this apartment and add James to it. So we are protected again.
I'm just kind of been having a nice afternoon though. James should be home soon. I will fix his bike and maybe I'll work on some art some more. I hope I sleep good. I have the morning off and then I'm doing tours in the afternoon. Going to bring my book with me and maybe it'll just be chill. Or maybe I'll give a couple tours or maybe I won't. You never know.
I hope you all have a great night. Keep sending those Good Vibes. Sleep well.

From a meta stand point(I only vaguely pay attention mind you), I believe all four decks have been up there at one point. As it stands now, Speedroids or Phantom Knights are easily best. Yuya's deck has been screwed by banlist and link mechanics. Predaplants I think were never topping much, but Starving Venom has been a Staple(As was(And I think sometimes still is) Clear Wing)). Dark Rebellion was a good staple for rank 4 decks though. Odd-Eyes is pretty much just for Odd-Eyes and Performpals/Pendulum Magicians.
In terms of personal skills, I always feel these are pointless discussions honestly. All four know how to duel and make combos, they're all good duelists, they could probably beat each other depending on certain conditions. Doesn't really matter who beats who, they all good.
Galaxy Eyes and D/D/D for meta, I think fall in same case as the above four. End of the day, none of these 6 come close to what is currently the meta or has been for a while.
Number card rule is anime only and is effect based. Many times they were defeated by non-numbers by negating the effect. Plus Kaito doesn't use Numbers that much. Reiji has negates, regardless.
As for summon method. Xyz is actually usually considered better I believe. Links are best as of now, Pendulums were broken enough to be nerfed. Keep in mind, the effects of Xyz aren't always tied to material(Most of the time they are, but a lot of times they also have one effect unrelated). Plus, there are a lot of powerful effects for Xyz Monsters out there, and they are mostly far easier and more splashable than the powerful Fusions or Synchros. Fusions ultimately are considered weakest as you generally need a Fusion card, and usually more specific material. Synchros need a tuner and you need to add up to the end level. Xyz you just need to match, which is pretty easy for a deck focused on that method. Albeit, Rituals are probably worst as they are similar to fusions needed a spell but also are in main deck. Although there's a few good decks out there. In the end, depends on the deck. Although Links and Xyzs are generic enough to be splashed in most decks. Synchros to a lesser extent, but Fusions are a rarity(and in most cases are in fact used just for material for one of the others).
In the end, Arc-V is full of great fun characters. Unless it's Jean Roget, there's not much room for getting worked up over disliking any characters. Yu-boys in particular are all great(Albeit, Yuri is a sadist so you probably don't want to know him in real life).
What's better than what in the show is mostly irrelevant since it comes down to the writing. And as of now, none of these decks are topping tournaments. But Speedroids are great Synchro focused. Phantom Knights with recent support also decent Xyz support.
Okie dokie peeps- I need help.
Calling Arc-V/Yu-Gi-Oh fans, I need help settling an argument with my sister (we are both Yu-Gi-Oh fans).
She claims Yuya and Yugo are weak duelists and that Clear Wing is the worst out of the four dragons. That Action cards are stupid and if it weren't for them Yuya would lose, a lot. She said that if Yugo had Yuya's brain then he would be better (not too sure what to think about that part in particular).
Now personally, I agree with that, I mean Yuya is a good duelist and all but I've been using his deck in Legacy of the Duelists and unless you get a hand where the monsters work together- you're screwed.
I believe Yuto would be able to defeat Yuri, obviously it would be one hell of a duel, but I wholeheartedly believe Yuto would be much more likely to defeat Yuri than Yuya would.
My sister also claims that speedroids suck, that Yugo is the worst our of the four. I just think logically, he and Yuya are pretty even, but each to their own.
Another thing that we argued about was that Kaito Tenjos' Galaxy Eyes deck is stronger than the D/D/D archetype.
I disagree.
Look, I have no dohbt Galaxy Eyes is strong as hell, (I've only seen Arc-V Kaito), but the D/D/Ds seem to have an answer for everything effect wise.
But I also haven't seen Zexal, and apparently the cards/effects are a bit different. Also the whole "if he had this card" and "if he used that card" (like Jay, no, hand is a hand).
I believe Reiji's archetype is stronger than the Galaxy Eyes deck, but then she also mentioned something about number cards, that only a number can defeat a number.
I'll leave that up for discussion.
Urgh, and we also talked argued about the most powerful summoning method (because I didn't really know how Lonk summon worked), she says that XYZ summoning is the strongest.
I argued back that what's so good about being able to use an effect twice (I know here are cards that give you more overlay units or whatever) and sometimes they're not even that good? She claims that the cards in the anime are different.
Personally, I think either Synchro or Fusion is stronger. I like Pendulum, but that's been called the fake summoning or something along those lines.
I want to know your opinions, do you agree with my sister?
Do you agree with me?
Or do you have another thought and disagree with both of us?
Also, because I have only seen DM and Arc-V, please excuse any errors regarding information and cards!
