it basically all comes down to implications, and forming interpretations based on reality while taking several factors into account. for example, wallter always acts extremely formal and polite, which is a facade that clearly breaks when he talks to people he genuinely doesnt like, like unpleasant and mark, where hes suddenly incredibly rude while still keeping that same formal tone that never wavers. i know people who act like that in real life and they are fake ass bitches who would say the most hurtful words anyone has ever said to you with a kind smile on their face.

plus yeucc has said that wallter is canonically a really selfish and self absorbed person. plus there is dialogue between wallter and drretro (my favorite) where wallter asks drretro about how her career as a doctor is and she replied "the best part is being able to help so many people 😸" and wallter just went "...well, the money is nice as well!"

another reason why i interpret him as such a deeply violent person though is mainly because i dont think he feels much empathy for others nor himself, and has a really fucked up worldview.

this is because of the fact that wallter seems to love and care about concrete more than any living person, and he is also completely oblivious or seems to just not care about the changed his body is having, instead seeing it as a positive thing.

like, you can joke all you want about wallter not having anything in his house except for concrete and some wonderbread, but knowing that hes a ceo and HAS MONEY to get a nicer place, that would be horrid in re life. we KNOW this is an active choice of his to live in such inhumane conditions, especially supported by an idle dialogue saying that he's not one for interior decoration.

i can 100% see that realistically extending to his interactions with other people, and having a poor sense of the limits of the human body, when he himself relates more to concrete than any sort of humanity. mixed with the fake ass bitch attitude i talked about earlier, this paints a very ugly picture of a person. you can probably see where im coming from

the anthropomorphization of unpleasant from this fandom has genuinely WRECKED its character and made it. not that unique compared to the other npcs. like i dont know it being this like fucking gooner-type character is so awful? and i really hate it? if anything that trope given to unpleasant should have stayed with scag and ended with her, since she’s a genuine npc with more writing and thoughts attached

i saw people bring up this point again and im glad but HELLO!!!!! LETS STOP JUST ASSOCIATING LAMPERT AS WALLTER AND MARK'S SON? EVEN WHEN IT HAS BEEN DISCREDITED /MULTIPLE/ TIMES? like DAMN this fandom only attributes characteristics if it is attached to literally anyone else besides that person. its horrible. people NEED to learn to find the balance between having fun with that headcanon while also acknowledging lampert as his own separate person that is (to be quite frank) not even associated with them that much in canon

the regretevator fandom is EXACTLY like the phighting fandom with how shipping is handled. i mean this in not a positive way

people gotta stop relying on the wiki for information man. so much lore from yeucc's tumblr has been retconned and at this point, when there's now WRITERS for the game that are actually keeping tabs, all if not the good majority of what is said on the wiki should be taken with a grain of salt. nowadays the lore is unpredictable, and only a select few (by few i mean like. 4 out of the 17 npcs) has had their lore expanded on significantly

general facts i think is fine so long as theres an annotation backing it but my point still stands . moreso with lore generally

also saw this point being brought up in the qrts but the demonization and infantilization of certain characterss (cough spud pilby pest and poob) is like. wild. i dunno i can't say much since i'm very fortunate enough to not have seen that much but my god is it prevalent from what people are saying

with pest especially since he has npd and aspd i do think that. people generally associating him as evil has NOT been the greatest thing, especially since it reduces him to a stigma of people with personality disorders which is horrific and terrifying. idk what goes on in the background but i feel like the fandom + yeucc & the people working on regretevator should have done more research on the disorders and consulted people who do have these issues better instead of using those labels haphazardly

another thing i will and always will be vocal (dog on) about the axosun team is them keeping gnarpy. like there was no reason to keep xem in other than for revenue gain let's be honest and True to ourselves. the philosophy "ohh but you can separate the art from the artist!!!!" i feel does not really apply to this scenario cause xe got a whole ass revamp despite the obvious fact that it STILL is gnarpy, a character created by a bad person regardless of the ownership change and discredited history. its the underlying thought that they were essentially built off a bad origin if this makes any sense. idk i think it wouldve been better for everyone if xe were just removed ENTIRELY from the game but. you do you i guess

I have a confession to make.... I love regretevator and play it almost everyday(mostly in my private server alone) and I'll tell you why first thing the game is super awesome like the levels are very fun to play , the floors are also very unique and creative and super cool sure some floors aren't original and it does get boring to do the same thing over and over again sometimes if you play it a lot but they can still be fun sometimes specially when you play with other people usually when I play with people and they don't know the game I like to explain them how the game and the floors work and also explain the characters if their interested and if they want me to explain it and I also really love the characters/npcs(in a platonic way) they're probably one of the only reasons I play the game because I like their designs,their lore,their dialogues and suff like they're all so cool and unique sometimes I like the floors mainly because of the characters in the floor because I like to interact with them and see them interacting with other characters or saying random things sure there are some npcs that I dislike or completely HATE but that won't ruin me enjoying the npcs , I like everything about the game and the community is also super cool and creative sure there's some bad people but every community has bad people in it so as long as they aren't a major issue we shouldn't worry about it I would like to give a big shout-out to all the good people in the regretevator community specially the ones that make awesome content and also I'm gonna give a bigger shout-out to Yeucc(creator of regretevator) and all the other regretevator devs that are currently working on the game and also final shout-out to the people that created the npcs and/or floors for the game ok I'm done talking about regretevator for now I'm gonna go back to doing whatever I was doing before bye!

im going to be frank im not really a fan of how when it comes to slimyim and prototype people seem to believe you have to hate one and love the other, when really thats not the case. i think it kind of reveals peoples lack of understanding of miches entire situation

miche wasnt a bad design. miche was a very good design and an interesting character. he was cool and didnt have enough time to develop before he was removed. he was good, yes, but that doesnt mean its bad that he was removed! doesnt mean it was good either! the creator had grown to associate miche with bad things due to personal experiences and wanted him removed for that reason. that is completely okay! its not our place to speculate on what exactly made them want to remove him, nor is it respectful to shit on miche to defend his replacement.

it sucks that his creator felt strongly enough about him that he had to be removed. it sucks, no creator deserves to feel that way about their own character. i can only hope the creator is feeling better about whatever happened. i want regretevator fans to think about this beyond roblox characters and empathize with miches creator. slimyim to me is a symbol of yeuccs respect for his peers (as much as i have reason to dislike yeucc, but thats another story) and thats enough for me
