FUCK YOU apikal lgl!! FUCK YOU lgl AND lgll! WHY THE FUCK DES IT NOT SAY ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET THAT IT IS A COMMON ABBREVIATION FOR LYMPH NODE AND LYMPH NODES! The only thing you get when you search 'medical abbreviation lgl' is a type of leukemia. Like, I'm all for that being one of the first results! Cool, awareness is good. But the common fucking medical abbreviation, WHERE IS THAT??? It's not even in my fucking medical terminology dictionary??? My dictionary has entries for nn, mm, a and v. Why not fucking lgl??? Okay, according to the one source I found lymph nodes can also be abbreviated to ndll. But like, why did I only find one fucking source explaining what it meant and SEVERAL fucking documents just had the lgl and lgll abbreviations in it and used to mean lymph nodes in them??? Like what??? It took me 30 minutes and crying desperately to find out what apikal lgl meant and it was right there in my anatomy book??? Like, fucking right there??? I thought it would be something super obscure, cuz I saw like research papers about fruit fly DNA before I found out what it meant. But it's just the nodi lymphoidei apicales?? (the word apical was swedish-ified cuz that's just a thing.) And they're like, common sentilel nodes for breast cancer too, I think??? So they're just widely known and written about but I couldn't fucking find out that they were being written about in this part of my schoolwork because the published things about medical abbreviations on the internet are just so fucking crap???? God, I hate this. I need lunch.
