List of Hatchetfield characters who I think play sims:

Ruth Fleming- no question. She spends hours downloading more custom content than her laptop can handle, making beautiful sims, and making them kiss. Hates build mode though (thank god for the gallery).

Richie Lipchitz- I wouldn't call him a frequent simmer, but about every 6 months or so he plays for like a week straight, and then doesn't touch it again until another 6 months pass. He probably loves lilsimsie though. (Also, he likes to build, so whenever he goes through a sims faze, Ruth asks him to build her a house to play in)

Stephanie Lauter- sims 3 girlie. Hasn't played sims 4 and refuses to.

Zoey Chambers- when she got her grandma's money in honey queen she for sure bought at least one expansion pack. Loves to kill sims for fun (her favorite method is poor quality pufferfish dinner party).

Professor Hidgens- that man barely leaves his house and hard-core lives vicariously through his 33 generation legacy household.

Gary Goldstein- he likes to cause drama in his households for no reason, and then convinces himself it was actually the sims' fault, and not him who is literally controlling them ("can you believe Terrance cheated on Abigail? How could he? 😡" sir, it was literally you).

Charlotte Sweetly- she asked Paul for video game recommendations once, and they both thought she'd find cozy games relaxing. Instead, she started playing sims and gets genuinely stressed when things don't go absolutely perfect for her sims.

This is my last post about it. OBX 4 wasn’t just bad in terms of JJ but all characters in general.

The writers, knowing they’d kill JJ off, started a character assassination train on him perhaps expecting us to feel like he deserved to die? But we know JJ. We all know JJ’s reckless but not to this level of detachment. He was acting like an entirely different person. JJ would’ve never treated Kiara, John B or any of his friends like that. Ever. Not matter how bad life turned out. Even with the whole “JJ blew all of our money!” it’s like they wanted us to hate him so badly.

Don’t even get me started on how bad that JJ plot twist was and since Part 1 I said it. Trying to erase his entire life like that even when it didn’t make sense was lazy writing. And all for what? To have his biological father be the one to kill him at the end? Because that’s the only possibly cruel explanation for that plot twist.

Killing JJ in such a way when this character spent his entire life suffering physical and emotional abuse from his adoptive father is cruel and it sends such a sad messaging.

OBX has always been bad at giving the girls good story lines and that aren’t always about their boyfriends. Kiara’s relationship with her parents was totally ignored. We got from them cutting her off at 401 to them clapping for her at the ceremony and we never got to know how they reached that place. Did they go to family therapy in those 18 months? Did they talk and came to an agreement together? But nothing.

Cleo didn’t get to have a story line that wasn’t mostly adjacent to Pope. And for a character that’s been here for 3 seasons we only know she worked for Terrance and it’s good with knifes. We don’t know her actual surname. And I was expecting more from her revenge plot and I feel silly for expecting that from those writers.

Sarah’s PTSD regarding Ward was never further explored. The writers also forgot about Wheezie and Rose. Sarah wouldn’t have continued on without trying to reach out to her. It’s like they just didn’t want to deal with it. And the worst one is them making Sarah say she didn’t feel ready for a family at her age for them to forget about it and have her pregnant. Despite how silly it is considering the circumstances of their life and how much trauma she has to heal from.

Don’t even get me started on the way the writers never explored the girls relationship. The only bonding scene between the girls we got was Sarah telling Kiara she’s pregnant and Cleo wasn’t even there. We never saw them just existing as young girls just joking around. Hell; even a whole boys conversation would feel somehow natural and we didn’t even got that.

Pope is a killer now? And by the influence of Cleo not less. Did the writers forgot about Season 3? And how she was the one that stopped him from killing Rafe. So, now you’re telling me she was the one egging him on to become a killer. Make it make sense please.

And the pogues dynamic was so bad. God, it was so out of character for them all. Firstly, John B would’ve never allowed JJ to walk into that self destructive path especially after learning about Chandler. And then, the way JJ confessed to Pope he was sucidical and he just didn’t say anything about it? Kiara was also incredible out of character. And that death scene was particularly dumb in so many levels, because it could’ve been preventable and it was pointless. But the thing that pisses me off the most is that the pogues stood there watching. In a scene that felt perhaps a bit anticlimactic. “Not pogue gets left behind” but they buried him on a desert in Morocco and had Rafe be the one to dig the hole too. Those are not my pogues and this wasn’t the dynamic I feel in love with. OBX went from being a comfort show to give me so much unnecessary frustrations.

My thoughts on the first part of outer banks season 4 SPOILERS

- so the biggest plot twist Luke not Jj father (which I kinda so it coming) but the fact that Jj family is full of kooks was not the thing I saw coming I feel like that going to make his spiral for the second half (and also the fact that the kooks are trying to buy his property) I’m still not that solid on the plot twist just because of how Luke abused him his hole life and knowing he isn’t your own kid what’s get me like Jj has been through it

- Cleo character has suffered this season I was kinda shocked that terrance died not gonna lie but my girl suffered so much during the first half also wished we got to see more Cleo and pope we got so much of Sarah John B and Jj and Kiara but very little of Cleo and pope which is weird because Jd and carlacia chemistry is amazing

- the treasure hunt storyline is quite interesting idk if there going to pull a supernatural with the curse and make it Riverdale 2.0 but I’m curious to see where it goes

- the chemistry between Jj and kiara I thought it was definitely better than season 3 and Sarah and John B scenes were really cute (see what happens when you don’t have annoying ass character like topper in the way)

- speaking of topper why is he still on the show he doesn’t bring anything to the table besides being Annoying and his girlfriend ruthie aswell the shit she pulled at the beach I was like get of my screen

- speaking of kooks (I skipped most of topper scenes btw) rafe storyline I’m curious to see where it goes (I still hate rafe worst character on the show) but his scenes with Sofia and the writers teasing a redemption arc thing (also people are already ship the scene when rafe talks to kie is weird because she was holding on the to the knife because she was scared of him like drew and Madison has said during press that kie aand rafe is not a good ship and Madison hates it so much)

- it’s was refreshing to have a season without ward or big John the cast really did such a good job and love that’s there pogues scenes

- put yeah overall a solid first half the pacing was good the storyline was alright to follow and I’m curious to see part two

I freaking LOVED writing about being Cartman's babysitter, so! Butters and Babysitter Reader.

This is my way of giving Butters a little bit of the life he deserves.

-♡Butters parents only needed a babysitter because they want someone to help tutor him, they're tired of Butter's getting into 'trouble,' and they want to be more productive.

-Basically, they want someone to parent for them because they suck and I hate them.

-Thankfully, Butters isnt even close to being as terrible as his parents!

-♡ When Butter's parents told him about you, he got extremely excited.

-He ran around his room and grabbed a bunch of his toys and costumes for the two of you to play with.

-The week that he was waiting for you to arrive was so painful for him. He just wants to meet you sooo bad!!

-he doesn't want you to be hurt by his evil alter ego or see him do mean things.

-Though it Cartman allows you to play superheroes, he'll make sure to keep his identity a secret. (It's so obvious but you pretend like it's not.)

-♡Butters wants to talk and play with you EVERY SINGLE DAY!

-You'll get a random call from the Stotch residence and it's Butters calling you from his home phone and asking you how your day was.

-He'll go on and on and on about his day until his mom or dad forces him off of the phone.

-After a few minutes, he'll call you again and continue the conversation.

-He gets caught and almost grounded until you bring up the excuse of calling the Stotches to ask if Butter's would like to stay at your house.

-♡ Butters is super excited to be spending the night with you!!!! At YOUR house!!!!!

-"Oh, boy! This is just like a sleepover!!"

-You guys go out shopping for snacks and find matching bunny pajamas.

-Movie night!!!!!!! You guys watch Barbie movies, Hello Kitty movies, and re-runs of Terrance and Phillip.

-Yall even make your own home movies with your camcorder.

-He was too scared to sleep alone in your house for a while so he's got his own place and blanket in your bed.

-♡Once Butters gets a phone and installs Coonstagram, he takes nonstop pictures of the two of you.

-He will always end the captions with "with my little buddy Y/n!" Or "with my best bud Y/n!"

-His entire gallery is full of pictures of the two of you at the park, walmart, in the car, at your house-literally EVERYWHERE.

-He texts and calls you everyday to ask how you're doing and if you wanna come over and play.

-The two of you send goofy snapchat pictures back and forth.

-♡ Overall being Butter's babysitter is a blast, and the two of you are practically best buddies. It's assured that you can always count on Butters to make you smile.

Spoilers for Outer Banks Season 4

I will never forgive the writers for how they butchered Pope's character arc this season. He is my favorite character and I relate to him so much as a Black person who was expected to be the perfect student and child. I always thought he had the best character development out of all the pogues (you can't tell me s1 Pope and s4, part 1 Pope are the same person). However, part 2 was literal character regression. He threw away his college plans just to be a felon and murderer (the only person I would have been ok with him killing is Rafe). It's like after everything he's been though (being hate-crimed by a cokehead, his family's inheritance being stolen, etc.), he still couldn't catch a break. Also the fact that they dropped the ball on bisexual Pope will forever piss me off because that could have been great Black queer representation that we usually don't see in mainstream media. He's so queer-coded to me and I don't care he deserved to be in a bisexual love triangle between a pretty Black girl (Cleo) and a cute white boy (JJ).

Cleo's character arc this season was also lackluster. We still don't know much about her backstory and the revenge for Terrance plot line was half-baked. Cleo didn't even get to kill Lightner. I thought that Cleo was going to let the revenge consume her to the point where she distances herself from Pope and the rest of the pogues (they didn't even try to support her like they should have imo). Instead the so called "distance" (because that shit only lasted 5 minutes) was because Pope was being forced to sign up for the marines. Like why do the female characters' plot lines always have to revolve around their male love interests? (I also hated that plot because it threw away Heyward and Pope's development as father and son).

Pope and Cleo as a couple were great because their chemistry is on point, but their individual character arcs suffered. Which is why I always say if you're going to have Black characters in your media, hire Black writers!

PLS my analysis will have spoilers, if you’re a first time viewer, just scroll to the bottom and read the list and only read full text if you are familiar with the content of the show already! No season has a clearer narrative structure than season 6, which is reflected both by my choice of images and the fact that almost none of them are considered to be filler. What might be new for some of you, is the correct order, since I listed this one in production order, so don't say "Jared has Aides" is the season premiere, because it isn't. "Freak Strike" is the season premiere, and I'll ask you to follow this order if you're a first-time viewer. S6E1 Freak Strike is CANON

Because the first scene exists to remind viewers of S5E13 and its long-term consequences with a trick reveal. If you watched it in TV and saw another episode as the season premiere, you missed out on this joke. The episode otherwise cements Butters' place in the group. S6E2 Jared has Aides is CANON

Some of what the boys do to Butters has to be canon, since his later villain arc is based on his experiences of being bullied by his "friends". S6E3 Asspen is CANON

The Stotch's get really friendly with the Marshes and the Broflovskis, which bonds will stay alive and sometimes Butters gets included because of this, even after he is ceremoniously kicked out of the friend group. S6E4 The Terrance and Phillip Movie Trailer is LORE

More bullying Butters shenanigans. Butters will mention events from this one and the next one, and in-series they add to his breaking point, but these two episodes can be omitted if we're looking at this list rationally. S6E5 Fun with Veal is LORE

This whole arc is really a journey of self-discovery for the boys, however this one is not for the long-term consequences. S6E6 Professor Chaos is CANON

They had it with Butters and Butters had it with them. Diane dies, Tweek gets into the group, Butters gets a new persona. S6E7 The Simpsons Already Did It is CANON

Basically every arc from Professor Chaos continues. S6E8 Red Hot Chatolic Love is LORE

I really hate to say it, because this episode is really fun, but other than giving Tweek the same amount of screen presence as Butters, this is pretty much a nonexistent thread in an already jam-packed season. But it shows how much they care about the idea of replacing Butters with Tweek. S6E9 Free Hat is LORE

Again, it's one of those episodes that show the boys' commitment to the fourth friend replacement bit. S6E10 Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society is LORE

Again, even further commitment to the bit. S6E11 Child Abduction is Not Funny is CANON

This is the last main Tweek episode, and we have to include AT LEAST one. And this one features both Randy's emergence and a plot with an intruiging side character, Dr. Janus. S6E12 A Ladder to Heaven is CANON

Another major change happens, when Eric drinks Kenny's ashes and his soul. This is a big part of the Kenny rebirth storyline. S6E13 The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers is LORE

This one doesn't make sense without the context (Kenny's soul in Eric's body) but doesn't provide further context, except that the costumes will be reused later. S6E14 The Death Camp of Tolerance is CANON

Herbert Garrison's triumphant return as the fourth grade teacher is finally here! Also an interesting bit is both Tweek and Butters being present in the episode's beginning, but only Butters stays relevant to the story. S6E15 The Biggest Douche in the Universe is CANON

Kenny's spirit moves on from Eric to Rob Schneider and then dies again. Big events. S6E16 My Future Self n' Me is CANON

Stan learns about Professor Chaos, we see the first glimpses into Eric's possible future and not plot-related, but we have to give props for this episode incorporating the first sighting of Craig's gang! S6E17 Red Sleigh Down is CANON

Kyle helps Eric, while Kyle 2 helps Mr. Hankey. Jesus sacrifices himself and Kenny is resurrected in his place as a christmas miracle, finishing the season and the 'Kenny Dies' arc.

I HATE Terrance and Leslie duos, and More that are like Terrance and Josh, Terrance and another characters that isn't Bill or Fosse. And even then, Bill and Fosse are not exactly part of being Terrance's 'direct' friends, as they are a duo themselves. BUT!!! Bill and Fosse are the only exception I have.. As much as I love the 'Hellpark Lab Monkeys', I simply don't understand why Estella is in it.. I can understand Leslie and Terrance, BUT I ZTILL HATE IT. I know Dana Terrance hates Belos, she's stated that the character makes her very uncomfortable and she hated writing him, which is why some Belos fans feel the need to give him more character by making him sympathetic, but do you think she hates his fans? Also, how do you feel about the portrayal of Kid Philip and is it possible to ship Belos with characters from the show? Would a relationship have fixed him?

Seeing as how Dana is a stranger, I can’t speak on her behalf but from my own personal standpoint, I would hate seeing people not only mischaracterize a character but fall for the in-universe propaganda so I think she’s frustrated at the very least but again, Dana is a stranger so I don’t know. Maybe she doesn’t care or doesn’t even know about these particular people.

I like kid Belos and I really wish we got to know more about him. (Wittebros fanart save me).

When it comes to shipping Belos, just tag it properly. I’m not gonna come on here and say “pro shippers DNI” or whatever the kids are saying. I’m not the fandom police, ship who you want and tag it properly.

Also the take “Would a relationship have fixed him” is really bad because he did have a relationship. He had his brother, someone who’s been by his side his whole life and loved him, yet Belos chose to stab in the back because Belos is just a bad person. What would’ve made him change is if Belos himself made the choice to be better.

There are many reasons “why gregstophe” BUT let’s see if I can give a relatively quick sales pitch—

Is “opposites attract” a trope you enjoy? Good news, this ship is for you! On one hand you’ve got Gregory: an impeccably mannered, Harvard Yardale-educated Brit with strong morals and a passion for politics and revolution. Then on the other hand there’s Christophe: a dirt-loving, God-hating French mercenary with a penchant for fighting everyone and saying wild shit at socially inappropriate times. However, they are friends (or at least allies) and seem to be among the only people the other respects. This begs the question: why? Are they different around each other, when they’re alone? Softer, perhaps? Do their walls come down, no need for pretenses? Do they bicker, or is it what they do more like banter? Maybe they’re only opposites on a surface level.

Are you a Les Mis fan? Because these two are just (as i once saw someone put it) Walmart-brand Enjolras and Grantaire, and many of the tropes those two have get brought into Gregstophe. Namely, Christophe’s unwavering devotion and loyalty to Gregory’s fight for freedom. Even if he doesn’t quite believe in the cause himself, he believes in Gregory enough to give his life. Honestly even if you aren’t a Les Mis fan (like me, i’ve only ever seen the bad movie adaptation once), you can see hints of this in the BLU movie. Christophe refuses to help the main boys rescue Terrance and Phillip until Gregory’s name gets mentioned and then, as Christophe dies, he sings a reprise of Gregory’s song. That sounds like textbook unwavering devotion to me.

Do you like playing around with religious themes and imagery? I do, and again they are perfect for that. Half of Christophe’s screen time is him talking about how much God hates him (and he hates God) and Gregory’s song “La Resistance” heavily implies that his morals are based in Christian beliefs. I personally like expanding that further into classic Catholic Feeling Repression™️. The self makes for such a good antagonist narratively and WOW do they just scream two characters whose greatest demons are their own expectations they heap upon themselves.

Lastly, there’s the mercenary route that many people take with them. Christophe canonically is one and Gregory is often rewritten as one (it’s not a hard leap), which leads to SO many possibilities. There’s the high stakes risk of dangerous jobs which could be just the thing to help feelings bubble to the surface. There’s the physical hurt they can experience and the angst that comes with it, often paired with patching wounds or miscommunication in worry disguised as anger. There’s the “we’re business partners, we can’t have romantic feelings, we have to be detached and professional especially in a dangerous field such as this” repression you can add (perhaps ON TOP of the religious repression). And you don’t even need to have them be mercenaries! They could be spies instead, or revolutionaries (which is what they really are), and you would still be able to use all those tropes. Sure you can do that with any ship but these two have that good good canon confirmation to fuel headcanons.

NOW— did they ever actually interact on screen? Well. No lol. The closest we have is the confirmation that they know one another via Gregory having Christophe’s address on his person and Christophe trusting the main boys once they mention Gregory sent them. Also, a draft of the script for the movie had them interacting on screen and Christophe alludes to him and Gregory having rescued canadian prisoners together before. You’re gonna need your imagination but the groundwork is there!! It’s a ship so ripe with potential it makes me insane.

Also I honestly don't watch that many movies so I'm having trouble remembering which ones I have watched and really enjoyed.

Favourite Movies

Pan's Labyrinth (2006, dir. Guillermo del Toro) - I mean. It's Guillermo del Toro. The effects, the sets, the costumes... everything's great!

Romeo + Juliet (1996, dir. Baz Luhrmann) - It's so incredibly extra, flamboyant, and ridiculous. It's over the top. It's camp. The script is faithful to the original Shakespeare but everything else is modernised and the end result is incredible. I mean, John Leguizamo as Tybalt? Harold Perrineau screaming 'A plague on both your houses!'?

John Wick (2014, dir. Chad Stahelski) - Keanu Reeves shooting his way through a whole bunch of thugs. The action is incredibly choreographed, and it's such a wonderful change of pace from other action movies.

Kung Fu Hustle (2004, dir. Stephen Chow) - Speaking of action movies, Kung Fu Hustle is a hilarious and loving homage to wuxia films. The character concepts are great, and the ending is touching as well.

Airplane! (1980, dir. David Zucker, Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams) - It's a classic for a reason. The gags are densely packed, the jokes are great, and there's basically no boring part of the movie. Leslie Nielsen was a treasure.

Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008, dir. Darren Lynn Bousman) - this movie is a fever dream and has quite a cult following. I love a good music, and come on, the songs are so incredibly catchy. One of them even makes me a little weepy. Also Terrance Zdunich as the Grave Robber? Hello? It's his job... to steal and rob... GRAAAAAAAVES?

The Devil's Carnival (2012, dir. Darren Lynn Bousman) - I think I'd be remiss to mention The Devil's Carnival though. Not quite as much of a fever dream, but with incredible music still. Sean Patrick Flanery kills it in Grief, Marc Senter's performance in Trust Me - Ivan Moody, the lead vocalist of Five Finger Death Punch plays a hobo clown with a song. Every song is iconic tbh. I'm going to listen to the soundtrack again.

My Opinion On Terrance Blake

I hope this won't get me hate, but if it does that's okay!

Terrance Blake in my opinion is an interesting character.

I hate the fact that people villainize him in the movie when he's not a villain, but everyone has a right to their opinion!

It's obvious that he's abusive and a huge alcoholic which instantly screams bad character, but that doesn't mean he can't change.

It's obvious that Terrance loves his kids, but the death of his wife was so bad and lead him to alcohol which affected his whole character negatively, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love Finney and Gwen.

I feel like Terrance 100% stopped drinking and tried to become a better dad for his children after Finney got kidnapped and it shows that he really want's to try, so I believe that he did do that and succeeded.

Terrance may have seemed like a bad character in the movie but that doesn't mean he can't change, and he probably did.

the main character is Justin! full name Justin Valenciano, he's intended to be filipino + a trans gay guy + autistic. He's 22 at the time the story starts!

He joins the L Corp branch as an employee after deciding he does not want to follow in his parent's footsteps of being a Fixer, which they are wholly loving and supportive of his decision! He loves trinkets he collects little shiny things off the ground like a little weasel and has a whole bunch of pins and keychains and bottle caps and pretty rocks that he collects and keeps in various containers in his apartment

He really likes chicken nuggets its his autism meal. he hates sour things

He meets an employee from a nearby L Corp branch whose name is Terrance (But everyone calls him Shoot) and they hit it off and eventually date. Shoot belongs to my bf @/oracle-milkman

He has a scar on his left ear from a scrape he got into as a child. he was often brought on fixer jobs when he was old enough because his parents couldn't afford or even find a babysitter

Despite having witnessed a lot of shit being backstreets-born he's still rather naive and timid, he's a ray of sunshine and generally tries to see the besst in people. as the story goes on he becomes rather paranoid however
