Oof okay great question, imma pick Final Fantasy and I have to say that I've only played: FF8, FF10, FF10-2, FF12, FF13, FF15 & FF7-Remake

I started with FF8 and I personally LOVE this game, but that is mostly from nostalgia feelings. I don't think FF8 is the best game, because the story is a bit confusing and the gameplay is not my fave. Its junction system kinda punishes the player for using magic, which I don't like.

As far as storytelling and worldbuilding, I think my fave is definitely FF10 (despite some voice acting bits lol). It does a great job creating a main global conflict that affects everyone in the story and I feel like it explains well how a Final Fantasy game works. If you want to try a FF game, this one would be my pick, since it also has all the classic memes. 💀 I feel like I don't have to explain this tho, since so many of you know FF already.

fave instrument: piano. I used to play a ton and I wrote songs and also learned a bunch of Final Fantasy 7/8/9 songs (mostly 8 because it’s my favorite (actually replaying it right now (and planning on my third ff8 related tattoo))). I wish I could still play all the time, but it is difficult to own and move a piano and it’s been forever since I’ve lived in the same spot for more than a year or two.

random fact about me: 4 of my (I forget how many) tattoos, I’ve done myself.

fave author: Ray Bradbury and Yukio Mishima. I’m much more inspired by Ray Bradbury because I think he’s just an amazing story-teller and he does so with language that is simple but beautifully put together. There’s no pretension in what he does, only magic and wonder. If you’ve read my fic, there’s a lot of influence from him in there (a lot of small ideas, and then also I have two chapters named after my favorite short story collections (which are in turn named after the Yeats poem that I also drew from) The Silver Apples of the Moon, and The Golden Apples of the Sun). Yukio Mishima is just an extremely interesting person to read about (though about 98% of what you read about him will conveniently leave out the fact that he was gay) and a very prolific author. He’s often accused of being a self-indulgent writer, which I’ve never understood why that’s an issue with people; why *wouldn’t* you want to write about things that interest you and are made for yourself? There’s a lot of passion and interest to be found in doing so, and that’s very evident in his writing, and I think that’s exactly what makes it amazing. OKAY I AM DONE 

fave animal noises: I have a blue-tongued skink (who is a very old man at this point) and since they’re burrowers, they make this little huffing sort of noise to clear their nostrils. Hearing him scooting around in his substrate and poking his head out and snurfling is one of my favorite things. 

aesthetic: sometimes trash, sometimes class, sometimes goth, sometimes electric rainbow nightmare. Depends on the season and the mood whether I’m wearing jean vests and patches or button-ups and blazers or combat boots and ripped tights or neon-pink rompers and light-up shoes. Again, I’m a mess.

OKAY, really for me my only frustration is like… I really want to bring up a LOT of stuff that happens in end game TGCF, but I don’t want to spoil it for people and that’s v frustrating. Of course, I don’t expect everyone to go out and MTL the novel and the translators are doing what they can but hahaha There’s so much good stuff that happens that could be really useful for headcanons, ships, and aus and I don’t want to because It’s SO GOOD IT SHOULDN’T BE SPOILED AHHH I guess this doesn’t really count as something I want to see more of though…

anyway this is my list because i have played many final fantasies many times if i dont go past 9 don’t worry about it i dont know much about them and by that point the characters are all pretty complex enough where it comes down to which personalities you like and which ones you dont.  also the supporting casts usually have your faves, you don’t consider past final fantasy 10 in the realm where it matters.

warrior/hero of light (ff1): i already said this but if you like this dude you have no taste and you’re doing it because you don’t want to own there being anything wrong with you personally.  you don’t stand up for anything you believe in  but feel you do because you Know You’re Right and always justified in whatever you do.  you probably have issues interacting with people with different opinions than yours and get hella aggressive when someone criticizes you of “playing the fence”.

firion (ff2): nobody likes firion because nobody remembers who he is.  you’re not as bad as WoL fans because you at least decided to go for the character from the game nobody remembers.  you probably pride yourself in your “niche interests” and think you’re a “real fan” because you finished the one final fantasy game nobody played.  i cant lie firion’s design is delicious though so congratulations on the taste.  enough to prove you know final fantasy but not enough to give any indication to your morals or personality.

luneth (ff3): if you’re reading this i’m kissing you on the lips because you ARE  a real final fantasy fan for either buying the DS version of the game or subjecting yourself to the famicon version somehow (provided you didn’t live in japan when it was released).  you’re not a fan of video games where the protagonist has zero personality unless you were gonna act like them anyway.  you’re the only type of final fantasy fan who doesn’t jump over fences to prove they like the series because you played final fantasy 3 and i’m so sorry Men tried to tell you you “weren’t special” because they’re stupid and think you mean the SNES version of final fantasy 6.  you are special.  i love you.

cecil (ff4): this one is hit or miss.  you’re either someone with a massive victim complex who kins cecil for all the wrong reasons or you think it’s delicious a final fantasy protagonist had a redemption arc in canon.  you’re not cecil.  you’ll never be cecil.  cecil hated who he was when the game loaded up he did NOT commit treason against his adoptive father for you to kin him because you used to be an aggressive dickhead.  you would never forgive kain because “i changed why can’t anyone else” which completely overlooks the entire theme of redemption despite all odds because sometimes you get brainwashed into things but your heart knows what’s right.  you’ll never be him.  if you think you’re cecil you’re actually kain.  cecil spent the whole game grieving what he’d once done and still thinking he didn’t deserve to be a paladin.  you would never if you kin cecil. you also probably like bethesda games because you can be evil or good even though it has no fundamental bearing on the plot.

bartz (ff5): you think it’s funny his name is actually butz.  you don’t actually like him you just like his name.  it’s okay.  i almost forgot he was the protagonist because the only characters in that game are gilgamesh and faris.

terra (ff6): you probably have some form of trust issues stemming from childhood trauma nobody knows the real source of.  you worry all the time about what other people think of you and probably have issues managing your respective mental illness because you think it’s the only thing people remember about you.  you try so hard to have hope but you feel like an outsider.

cloud (ff7): you have raging imposter syndrome and no matter what you try to do it never goes away.  like with terra, you probably have issues managing yourself and your emotions due to fear of forgetting who you are, but while terra fans feel like an outsider you feel altogether unworthy of anything.

squall (ff8): like with cecil this one is hit or miss.  if you like squall because “he’s a dick” it is because you are also a dick.  if you like squall for any other reason you probably grapple with being stuck in your head too much and being frustrated about things you can’t control.  you probably have problems making decisions because you’re afraid of ridicule but then turn around and if you’re not having a good time blame it on the fact someone else chose to do something you didn’t like. 

zidane (ff9): you’re the friend that always tries to make sure everyone has a good time by distracting them but you come off as immature and thoughtless.  you probably have issues with imposter syndrome but it’s because someone told you that you were annoying in elementary school and now it’s all you can think about.  you feel like you need to deal with everything on your own because you’re always the one who helps your friends, but you don’t want them to have to worry about you.  when you fall you fall hard but once you feel assured you’re probably fine again.  if you have an irritating gag you fall back on it definitely makes your imposter syndrome worse but it’s, like, all you have to identify with.

I’m seriously so intrigued by this crossover. I usually steer extremely clear of crossovers, but I’m always down for anything involving Seifer. I love that you kept his personality intact, even though he has absolutely no clue where Ivalice is. So many people throw all that out the window and the character becomes someone else entirely. Obviously as we’ve discussed in PM, we adore Seifer and I doubted that would be the case with this story, so I’m glad to see that held true.

51. Rant or Gush about one thing you love or hate in the world of fanfiction! Go!

One thing? Oooonnnne thing. Damn. I guess the biggest thing: Comments. At one point, I had something written out about comments vs Kudos and shit like that. It was this huge, long in-depth things, but in the end, I didn’t add to the thread post b/c it felt very much like yelling into the void. Only the void is indifferent.

Personally, I am not so much a fan of Kudos any more. At one point, I felt it was like a “Hey, I read this and I think you did great!” but now, I’m jaded, and so fucking bitter. Now I see them as the ribbon every kid gets when they participate. The easy way out from commenting. It’s the Buddy Christ giving you the thumbs up but not having to talk to you.

I see fandom and other people make comments about how people should comment. That without it, the authors aren’t gonna wanna write any more. That it’s fuel for our fires.

My fire is almost out. I’m a Charmander stuck in a rain storm and my protective leaf just got ripped away. Now, if I write something, it’s because I really, really, really fucking love it for that moment.

I mean, I get it. I know my writing is shit. I’m the bottom of the bottom of the fucking barrel. I’m the one you read when you’ve exhausted everything else, including your faves a few times, but you’re still to lazy to take that fic you found in Russian and slap it in a translator… I’m that sort of fic author. The last of the last. 

But even then, if you read my POS work, even a small comment would be nice. I see the hit counter go up. I see that I don’t get a lot of Kudos, and even less comments. Not gonna lie, seeing this hurts. 

Open up the dialogue with me. I love talking about my fic, about the ideas, or what could be improved upon. I might not ask for Concrit - not any more b/c there are some assholes out there that instead of giving concrit, they cut you down. When you’re new, that hurts in a way you don’t always heal from.

Seriously though. Comment. Open up dialogue with me about it. Was there something that was off for the fic for you? Tell me/ask me why I did it that way.

I’ve already started taking down fic down. I’ve got it up on my LJ/DW/IJ for ..some sort of sake.

The big post about how i love my sneasel who is great

Welcome to that post. It might get long.

Reaper the level 100 Naughty nature Sneasel with Keen Eye who experienced pokerus once and has contest ribbons from too many regions oh my gosh Leeeeeeets get going on how much I adore my little guy!

Okay, the story behind him. He is kinda unofficially my starter pokemon?

Cos of course there was no way to keep your mons from RBY and GSC back then, but I’d kinda only had one pokemon anyway. I was a dumb kid who just solo’d both games with my raichu Chuppy. And sadly I ended up losing them even before the whole transfer issue, someone stole my Gold cartridge during school and when I found it half smashed in the playground all the data had been corrupted. It did actually play though, just with some colour issues I think? I never really restarted cos it felt cruel to Chuppy to do it. So I’m happy that the virtual console rerelease let me reincarnate Chuppy and even make them a cool new alola form! (though they had a different gender this time, but meh i get to headcanon my chu is trans like me, haha) So yeah thats the story of my official first pokemon, but Chuppy didnt really have any personality or headcanons back then cos I was so new to the franchise. And Reaper ended up lasting way longer and sharing every single other region with me, so he kinda took the spot of ‘starter’ even if he wasnt ‘first’. (I still was really happy to welcome reincarnation Chuppy home tho!)

Reaper actually came from Pokemon Colosseum, of all places! His OT name is the completely-wrong ‘Tom’ cos he was from when I restarted my game after getting stuck and just buttonmashed one of the default names out of frustration. I actually caught him in a master ball just cos I was that excited to hug the lil guy! Sneasel was my fave gen 2 mon but i never managed to catch one actually in GSC, i didnt know it was limited to a rare encounter in the very last area. And even before I caught him I knew sneasel was in this game via guides, so i was waiting with baited breath and establishing headcanons even before i found him. Then I just COULD NOT WAIT, hence the master ball! XD I kinda preemptivel based him on the iron mask marauder’s sneasel from the celebi movie, cos shadow pokemon are similar to his brainwashing stuff. And I always liked his sneasel, scizor and tyranitar, for such minor roles they are. It was a nice nuance for the bad guy’s pokemon to be shown as VERY MUCH not evil, just enslaved by magic brainwashing and mistreated. It warmed my heart seeing them freeing each other and escaping in the end once the control was broken! But also it established sneasel as a really cool badass fighter that I wanted to have someday, yknow?

So yeah I got this guy from colosseum before I even played RSE, and he ended up being my ‘starter’ in that game so much that i cant even remember which one i picked. I boxed it right away and never thought about it again, I was a callous kid! It was actually really interesting playing ORAS and finally getting to see what the hoenn starters are actually like, lol And Reaper remained my best friend across like ELEVEN OR MORE REPLAYS of every single gen 3 game except emerald. Cos at that time in my childhood i literally did not have any other games. i spent around three or four years with just sapphire, leafgreen and final fantasy tactics advance. (Oh boy that game’s script is stuck in my brain for all time) And getting attatched to the characters and making new ones all the time was how i kept from getting bored this way ^_^ Buuuuut... it kinda meant that I just discarded most of them super fast to make more. the only other pokemon that migrated to sinnoh with Reaper was Nether the sableye, who was kinda his rival/best friend. (Tho I mispelled it as Neava so he’s stuck that way, lol. And both of them are in all caps forever...) Nether is kinda the basis for my recent oc Malachi, so he’s like an entirely different story for another time. But he was my Sapphire buddy and Reaper was one region older via the power of spinoffs.

And oh man yeah i totally loved the shadow pokemon plot lol! I just headcanoned his plot with regards to that was the same as the marauder’s mons. Perfectly nice tiny sneasel boy is kidnapped and experimented upon by evils, but my love saved him and now he is soft once more. He didnt really have much angst from it, but it helped such a wild spirit grow to trust my hero and trust humans in general after such a rocky introduction to them. I imagined it was like training a dangerous dog to be a police canine, with that arm guard thing that they bite! Shadow pokemon training must be WAY more tough than it seems on the surface! So like ash’s charizard plot, where it ends up with really fire forged family love after all the hardship. I think that before he met my trainer he was just like a loner robin hood type character who valued his freedom and thought that tamed pokemon were all wusses. But alas, he was forced to experience human hugs, and now he’s addicted! but he’d still be quite rebellious and wild and have a lot of goofy cute interactions as he tries to learn all this complicated stuff about being a pet. Why cant I pee on the carpet?? Why do I have to eat pellet food? Why are you mad when i bring you dead mice and pidgey eggs?? bad bad influence on the other mons, but also a softhearted big bro who WANTS to be a good influence. He pretends to be all aloof and stoic cliche angsty antihero, but always messes up and looks cute instead! And he gets crushingly sad if any of his lil siblings actually does get afraid of him. Noooo the grumpyness is for the humans! Not for you!! No-one is allowed to pet the sneas except the other pokemon. It my duty to protect my new pack of strangely shaped sneasels! Oh and he likes booze. In human terms he’d be around 25-30, but still its not good for animals to drink human liquor. Never stopped him though! He’d always find ways to sniff it out and swipe half-finished cans from the trash and stuff. Bad angstman! I know thats part of your archetype but stop it!

So... basically he was like.. cloud? original version from ff7 where he was sassy and goofy sometimes, except reaper is like that all the time with less angst and pretty much zero ego. He’s just like a kind yet not completely competant fun uncle who tries his best to put up a cool guy front to impress the kids (and push away scary humans) but his innate sweetness means he always messes up. And he’s super tsundere about the fact he considers his trainer part of his infinate pack of children, even if every other human is DANGER MODE. Must protect this human from the other ones! Must teach them the ways of the sneas! Oh, and I imagined his appearance as a gijinka would be kinda like Squall from ff8. cos he actually started off as a parody of that unlikeable angstman archetype, and i didnt even know Cloud existed until yeaaaars later. (Played the ffs completely out of order...) So i figured he’d be like squall but with dark skin and a kinda sirus black hairstyle. (Cos that guy contributed the kind uncle part of his inspiration!) Oh and of course a sneasely colourscheme for the fur coat. When I first got him in Collosseum he was really useful for his Brick Break move, and im actually really happy that the brick break image on bulbapedia is the collosseum sneasel using it! It was very very good as one of the few mons available with that move in the very limited choices you had for that game. But his signature move kinda ended up being Surf, even though his stats would have been awful for it even if I’d ev trained him properly XD I just found it so bizarre that sneasel of all things could learn that HM! I imagined he formed a surfboard out of ice to carry the trainer, cos there’s no way you could stand on the back of a 30cm tall weasel...

And man lets just have some random sneasel headcanons now!

* Their feathers exist to sense wind fluctuations, which are useful in their natural environment to anticipate snowstorms and track prey in low visibility.

* The ear feather is just for this, its the more sensitive one. The tail feathers are more for manipulating objects and other day to day life. They’re more matted and dont really have the same hearing ability, but the joints are way more flexible so they can be moved independantly like three actual tails. Sneasels can pick up small delicate objects by brushing them up between the tails, then rolling them down their back to reach their mouth. they also use the tails to brush away dirt, hide their tracks in the snow, form surprisingly intricate igloo-like nests and groom their fur with the utmost precision.

* Sneasels will outright resent any attempts to groom them by anyone but their closest human friend, since inevitably humans cant do as good of a job. But humans can scratch behind your ears and give cuddles, so it all works out!

* In the wild, sneasels eat primarily eggs, some nuts and berries, scavenged semi-rotten meat and not so much live prey. Even though they’re very skilled, they’re also very fragile and cautious because of it. They’ll only hunt in extreme situations, instead preferring to confuse and mislead their way to dinner. Sneasels are very social and loyal to each other even if they’re not to anyone else. Their most common strategy is the whole pack wards off a dangerous foe while one lone unit sneaks past and robs that pokemon’s food stores, to share with the family. Even if they’re forced to hunt their own prey, they still follow these strategies and try to just outrun the enemy until it dies of exhaustion or freezes in the blizzard. They’re experts of making cuts that disable but don’t kill- going in close enough to deliver that final blow means risking a valuable pack member’s life!

Not really a headcanon now but back to reaper himself, I always kinda imagine him looking more like a real weasel. I like sneasel’s design but the bipedal humanoid proportions arent exactly the best thing, yknow? i feel like it should have had shorter more pawlike back legs and just been top-heavy with the super claws. Like.. I imagine kinda a furret? just the appeal of actual weasels and stoats plz. I love sneasel but when i looked up weasels as a kid i was like MY HEART!!! they’re sock puppet babies with lint fuzz faces Also I think sneasel’s claws are kinda comically short and boring considering theyre like its Big Feature. I liked when they were drawn a bit longer in older artworks, and i always imagined reaper had longer ones like scyther-y level. Thats why I named him that! Crescent moon claws of awesomeness, striking in the night~! ...he would be really cool if he wasnt such a cuddly dork. I love him so much, he’s my baby. And my dad. And my uncle?? he’s just a very good friend and im happy videogames can touch my heart like nothing else let me love my nonexistant magic weasel from cyberspace forevermore~!

Video Game Asks No one ever sends me asks, so I'm just gonna answer these because I feel like talking about gaming.

1. Favorite game from the last 5 years? This is a hard pick, but I'll have to go with Days Gone from 2019. It had an incredible open world, a story that I couldn't stop thinking about for weeks after I beat the game and one of the best-written and best-acted protagonists I've seen in years.

2. Most nostalgic game? I'm always nostalgic for the early 90s adventure games from LucasArts and Sierra, my faves being King's Quest 6, the Monkey Island series and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

3. Game that deserves a sequel? Days Gone, for sure.

4. Game that deserves a remaster? The original Mass Effect trilogy! I can't believe Bioware hasn't made one, and I think remastering their most beloved franchise would repair some of their tarnished reputation with fans.

5. Favorite game series? If I have to pick one, it'll have to be the Final Fantasy series, even if it consists of individual games. FFVIII was the game that got me into gaming for realsies when I was about 14 and I've enjoyed so many FF games over the years.

6. Favorite genre? Horror and action RPGs, especially ones that are set in open worlds.

7. Least favorite genre? MMOs and anything with multiplayer elements. I prefer to game on my own.

8. Favorite song from a game? There are so many good songs in video games and I can't even listen to most songs in the Kingdom Hearts series without getting emotional, but I'm gonna go with "May I Stand Unshaken" from Red Dead Redemption 2, because the way it's used in the game was very powerful.

9. Favorite character from a game? My favorite female character is Fem Shepard from the Mass Effect trilogy. Favorite male character is Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2. I will never be over that cowboy.

10. Favorite ship from a game? I'm probably gonna have to say Riku/Sora from Kingdom Hearts, because it was one of my first ships ever and I still have super fond feelings for it almost two decades later even if I don’t actively ship them.

11. Favorite voice actor from a game? The easy pick would obviously be Troy Baker, because at this point, he's basically a legend, but I'm gonna go with Roger Clark as Arthur Morgan in RDR2 and Sam Witwer as Deacon St. John in Days Gone. And favorite female voice actor is Jennifer Hale as Fem Shepard in Mass Effect.

12. Favorite cutscene? I used to be obsessed with every cutscene in FF8 back when it first came out, and the entire opening cinematic is still one of the best ones I've seen. As is the whole ending cinematic.

13. Favorite boss? Ultimecia in FF8. She was SO hard and it took me ages to beat her and I still remember the sheer relief and joy when I finally managed to do it. I played the remaster a few months ago and she's still one of the most challenging boss battles I've played. Her boss fight music is also kickass.

14. First console? The NES in 1990.

15. Current console or consoles? I have a PS4 Pro, a PS3 and a PS2.

16. Console you want? The PS5, though I'm probably not gonna buy it the moment it comes out.

17. Place from a game that you’d like to visit? The Kashmir restaurant from BioShock. Not during Rapture's civil war, though, ahah.

18. Place from a game that you’d like to live in? Serkonos from Dishonored would be nice, without the whaling and blood fly infestations. I love the design of the buildings and apartments in that city.

19. Ridiculous crossover that would never happen but would be super fun? I don't know if it's ridiculous, but I would like to see Kratos from God of War meet Senua from Hellblade.

20. Book that would make a good game? I don't read enough books to think of a good one and I feel like lots of good books have already been made into games or they've inspired games.

21. Show/Movie that would make a good game? I'd kill for a proper open world game based on Tolkien's works. I know there's Shadow of Mordor, but I wasn't into it.

22. Games you want to play? I'm really looking forward to the remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and The Last of Us 2.

23. Have you gotten 100% completion in a game? I did in Days Gone.

24. Have you cried over a game? Oh boy, have I ever! Video games make me cry all the time, because modern games have stories that are often much better than the ones I see in movies and on tv. They're also more personally engaging and you get attached to the characters because you get to control them and you spend hours and hours in their company. I think I got a migraine from crying after I beat Final Fantasy XV for the first time. And it took me weeks to get over the story of Red Dead Redemption 2.

25. What power-up or ability would you want IRL? I'd like to be able to levitate like Jesse Feyden in Control.

In regards to my views of female characters in fiction and games, I have to say that I’m really, really fussy. I’m going to use the Final Fantasy games as examples. Let’s take my all time favourite ff game, ff7. Now, everyone and their mother (get it? Ha.) adores Aerith but in all honesty I actually dislike her. Not because she’s poorly written, on the contrary, I think she plays an essential part in the game and generally she’s ok. I dislike her in battle. I absolutely will do my damnedest not to use her in my party because I hate her fighting style. So, I only use her when I have no choice or am facing off against an enemy where her healing abilities come in use, as I have played the game so many times that I lost track I know the story and so have no real reason to use her anyway. I feel exactly the same about Cait Sith, I HATE that f-ing cat! Ugh. I would much rather have had Reeve himself, at least he would be less annoying. It just stands there and bounces, looking stupid and distracting. No. Cait Sith is my enemy. Kill all Cait Sith’s.  Many people on Tumblr will probably get all weird and try and say that I have internalised Misogyny when I know that’s utter BS. When it comes to battle I have a certain style I use so I tend to pick those with the appropriate abilities and I refuse to deviate because I don’t want to.  My fave female character in ff7? Tifa. I love her so much. So yeah, not so misogynistic.  I attempted to play ff8 and really disliked Squall and never really got to know the female characters in that so I can’t comment. Squall annoyed me for reasons I can’t seem to put my finger on but there we are. Final Fantasy 10 is probably at the top of my list for ‘Games I Did Not Enjoy’. Tidus was a pain in the backside, and I hated Yuna. She irritated me, again, for unknown reasons I just can’t stand her. Also, way too many bloody puzzles. If you want to put me off a game, put puzzles in it. Noooooo. However, I played it as far as I did mostly because of Lulu. Now SHE was a cool character, I liked the way she dressed and the fact that she took a Moogle into battle which is just adorable.  Now, I have missed many ff games as I have not played them and they have never really appealed to me. The last one I played before 15 was 13 and I thought ‘cool, a female lead!’ and was severely disappointed. Lightning is just so angry and miserable all the damn time, to me she didn’t seem to have any real personality except for being angry and miserable. Maybe she improves the further you get into the game but I literally couldn’t play for long enough to find out. She was THAT off putting. Also, another way to put me off a game; put a pointless child in! God knows what that kids name was but ughhhh, I dislike most kids unless they’re related to me so having a kid in a game just irritates me. (eg, Denzel from ff7 AC. I hate him. So much. Oh my god.) Basically, I’m a parent IRL, I have no wish to be one in a frigging game, thanks.  Now, on to ff15. The female’s in this game don’t really have enough personality or screen time for me to judge tbh. I mean, Luna dies after 0.5 seconds in so we never really see much of her except in brief scenes from the past. Gentiana again, not much to go on. Cindy is cool, I like her voice actress but her outfit is so totally impractical I want to enter the game and give her some proper f-ing overalls because one day her boobs are gunna over-spill and she’ll end up with a nipple trapped in a place no nipple should ever be trapped. It pains me to watch the scenes where she’s working on the Regalia because I’m just waiting for it to happen.  So yeah, basically, just because a woman dislikes a certain female character does NOT mean that she’s internalising some misogynistic bullshit. Maybe she doesn’t like that character because...I dunno...they simply don’t appeal to her? I know, radical concept! :O

🎮- Favorite video game(s)?

HEEEEEEEEEEERE WE GO! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

So i really REALLY like Final Fantasy games if ou couldn’t tell… specifically FF8 and 10! yeah yeah i know not many people have those in their faves of the series and ESPECIALLY not in their All-Tim favorite game in general but HHHHHHH i just love it so much! the music, the story, the graphics and damn myself for having a massive hard on for turned based RPGs!

i love them both even though they are VERY different from each other and i love VERY different things they did! AND YET THEY ARE TIED! but maybe there is a bit of nostalgia bias but idk… i always find myself replaying (yet never fucking finishing) those two games!

I like that FF8 made you really need to THINK and strategize to the maximum because, even though everyone can use everything, EVERYTHING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED! specifically the magic sharing! i loved that the characters couldn’t all have Magic, Summon, and Items as you could only choose 4 sets of options for each character! Everyone had different things they were assigned to do! THEY EVEN HAD TO BE ASSIGNED SPECIFIC GFs THAT HAD MORE POSITIVE AFFECT FOR EACH CHARACTER! i get that not many people would like it because it’s A LOT of organizing and thinking, but i loved it! I also like the fact that the game levels up monsters as you level up! its great for people who like to play more casually!

As or FF8′s story, i do have to admit that it has a few plot holes and certain plot lines were super cheesy and nonsensical! but i loved each interaction with every character with very different personalities and they all evolve into greater people by each other’s influence! they all have their own insecurities and they helped each other grow as people! Everyone felt real and like an actual bunch of teens caught up in a war filled with fucking propaganda and nonsense! its so great!

I love every character! even though many thought they were bland, especially Squall, i think it was still fine and i had lots of fun!

For FFX i really like the story more than anything! HOLY SHIT THE STORY! it really makes you think and questions fucking everything! i guess it was a little bit of an atheist kinda thing but let’s be real, FF games have been reputed to have anti-religious symbolisms! and HOLY FUCK Seymour HOOOO MY GOD THIS MAN! He is one of the sneakiest and bitchiest son of a gun i have EVER SEEN IN A FF GAME! NOT EVEN SEPHIROTH HIMSELF can level with the dark, twisted mindfuck this man is! I HATE HIM SO MUCH! him being part of the whole religious propaganda and twisted traditions that were there since the beginning MIND FUCKED MY ASS!

The gameplay itself is not so bad! i love the fact that you can instantly switch around your characters mid-battle! i also love that different characters beat different types of monsters and i like the “leveling” system! its really cool that you could level up whatever you want so each person has different stats through their gameplay! sure there are things that are kinda mandatory, but its really fun that you be a bit more free on that note! hell, you can even assign things that arent even made for that character! its really cool!

I’d also like to point out that laughing scene… please stop portraying it like “bad acting” or even “cringy” because people often don’t get the context! and the context is: ITS LITERALLY SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THAT!
