my bfs family gave me a cpap machine and I am trying it out tonight for the first time
#holy shit it's like I slept for the first time ever#I want to do my crossword puzzles#I woke up naturally at 8 am#woke up once to pee but was so excited to go back to sleep#my mind turned off enough for me to just lay down and close my eyes#I have not experienced this level of natural energy and feeling good since I was a kid#and even back then I had horrible insomnia and bad dreams#my post#sleep apnea#shout out to my sleep apnea crew#I had my tonsils removed in 2021 for obstructive sleep apnea and the ent said jeez Louise at the size of my tonsils#buttttt they never followed up on my sleep or snoring 🙃#my psyc was like you've had insomnia your whole life and you're constantly choking in your sleep and no one's done anything?#and I was like lol yeah#I've felt like this most of my life and when I did complain my parents were like that's normal#no you both have sleep apnea 😭#my mom got diagnosed like a decade ago and my dad got his diagnosis last week lmfao finally#going on family vacations and sleeping in the same hotel room was CRAZY#sleeping challenge: impossible
