Haikyuu!! on Instagram, Part 1

Daichi Sawamura: Posts a year’s worth of photos in the span of a few days and then disappears from the app for months at a time. Never replies to comments or DMs.

Koushi Sugawara: Is one of those "only posts when I do something interesting" kind of people. His ���close friends” stories are straight up shenanigans, his regular stories are just selfies with different filters.

Asahi Azumane: Most aesthetically pleasing page, pictures are filtered and centered to perfection. He’s not usually in the pictures though, he prefers to be behind the camera. Keeps his account private and only accepts follow requests from family and friends.

Yuu Nishinoya: Only posts volleyball trick shots and a selfie every time he gets a haircut. Comments on friends' photos with strings of emojis that only kind of make sense. 😱🚶‍♂️🥝🥝🧱🎭🗞🙌👅 on a picture of a sunset. What does it mean?

Ryuunosuke Tananka: excessively uses #hashtags. does he do it for the #aesthetics the #views or because he thinks it will make him #instafamous ? #youdecide #instapic #tanakapics #followforfollow #noticemekiyoko

Tobio Kageyama: Goes live and straight up streams whatever volleyball match he's watching and leaves it on his stories. Any time his team is mentioned online or on the news, he posts a screenshot.  Hardly ever posts pictures of himself because he looks pissed in every photo he has. His profile pic is of his back because of that.

Shoyo Hinata: Mainly posts pictures with friends at volleyball practice. They’re a little blurry and sometimes cropped weird but they make for a fun scroll. Definitely has 🏐🙌Karasuno's #10🙌🏐 in his bio. Leaves nice comments on friends’ pics and follows literally everyone he meets.

Kei Tsukkishima: Was peer-pressured into making an instagram and is now addicted. He’ll waste hours scrolling the explore page, but will rarely post anything of his own. NEVER likes or comments on others’ posts.

Tadashi Yamaguchi: Legitimately uses Instagram as a way to keep in touch with people. Is more likely to send someone a DM on insta than he is to send a text. He has definitely bought a few shirts & backpacks from sponsored ads, the algorithm has him all figured out.

Shimizu Kiyoko: Doesn’t post often. but when she does, it’s perfection. The clothes, the background, the pose, that lighting... ma’am this is instagram not the cover of Vogue. Leaves beautiful, borderline poetic comments on friends’ posts. Her profile is private, so everyone feels extra blessed to see her on her feed.

Hitoka Yachi: Posts a mix of pics and her artwork.  Tags friends in giveaway posts if its something she genuinely thinks they'd enjoy. Can't post any pictures with the Karasuno boys without at least 10 family members frantically commenting "which one is your boyfriend?" or calling her mom.

Tooru Oikawa: Such a curated profile it makes you wonder if he instagrams for a living. Posts pics & stories regularly. He has NEVER posted a selfie. Asks friends to take pictures of him when they’re out, never posts group shots.

Issei Matsukawa: His instagram exists only so he can roast his friends. Most of his comments are just “ewwww” or “omg whyyy” Posts the most unflattering photos of others, but don’t worry, he doesn’t tag... all of them.

Takahiro Hanamaki: Posts the most interesting candids of others, captioned with adjectives, like “pensive” “courageous” and “oblivious.” Others are unsure if he’s trying to be thought provoking, or if it’s just elaborate trolling.

Hajime Iwaizumi: Posts regularly, but never captions or tags his pictures.

Yutaro Kindaichi: Posts his exercise routines for accountability, not to show off, or so he says. Presses the little heart next to every comment he gets. Only goes onto the explore page to look at cute animal pictures.

Shigeru Yahaba: Was REALLY into instagram for like... 6 months, but forgot his password and hasn’t logged in in over a year.  He claims he doesn’t miss it, but is always looking over someone’s shoulder to see what’s on other’s feeds. 

Akira Kunimi: Keeps his profile private, and ignores 75% of his follow requests, even if they’re from people he knows. Posts pics of every fancy coffee, ice cream, and dessert he eats.

Kentaro Kyotani: Only posts pictures of his dogs.  There’s only one picture of him on the profile and it’s him playing tug-of-war with his new puppy.  Random people follow him for his wholesome dog content, ok, I don’t make the rules.

Setting: Alex and Thomas have been secretly dating for a couple of weeks. This is part 3 of my Lake Tahoe weekend trip story. The previous night, Alex and Thomas enjoyed a romantic evening which included a dinner in town. On the morning of this part, Thomas went into town to meet with a screenwriter about a potential upcoming project. Alex stayed at the lake house where they are spending the weekend. This takes place during the last chapter of Red Carpet Diaries Book 2, between the private party for The Last Duchess and the public premiere and release of the film.

Thomas came home from his meeting to find Alex sunbathing on the deck. He smiled to himself, admiring her for a moment before joining her. 

“How was your meeting,” Alex asked as she noticed Thomas heading in her direction. 

“Surprisingly intriguing,” Thomas explained. “Apparently there are still individuals with actual talent out there.”

“That sounds an awful lot like a compliment,” Alex teased. “I hope you told whoever you met with that.”

“And risk provoking their ego?” Thomas posed. “I think not. I find people are more motivated and inspired when they feel they continuously need to impress you.” 

“Don’t forget that everyone needs and enjoys a little compliment every now and then,” Alex suggested. 

Thomas took off his jacket and tie, leaving only his button-down white shirt on.

“Should I tell you how beautiful and talented you are more often, then?” Thomas proposed.

“I can’t say I would mind that,” Alex smiled, motioning for Thomas to join her on the lounge chair.

He complied and sat next to her. He kissed her forehead and whispered, “You truly are spectacular.”

Thomas got more comfortable on the chair beside her. Alex ran her hands over his chest, unbuttoning his shirt as she went. She pushed it to the side, exposing his taut stomach. 

“Much better,” Alex leaned into him, resting her head on his chest. Thomas stroked his fingers through her hair and down her back. 

Alex heard her phone buzz on the table beside her. She grabbed it. It was from Victoria.

Victoria: How is reading scripts going? Any luck?

Alex replied: Not yet… 

Victoria: mmkay.

A few seconds later, Victoria sent another text with a link. Alex clicked it. It took her to a tabloid news website. The home page featured a photo of Alex and Thomas from their dinner the previous night. 

Victoria: Want to try again?

Before Alex could reply, her phone started vibrating again, as she received several texts in rapid succession. 

Chris: Was there some The Last Duchess press I forgot about?

Chazz: Heads up… Chazz: (photo from their date) Chazz: this has been making the rounds today Chazz: let me know if you want to address it publicly

Addison: Omgoodness is this why the two of you were so evasive at the party the other night?! 

Alex shot up from her reclined position catching Thomas off guard. 

“What’s wrong?” Thomas quickly sat up beside her. 

Alex pulled up the tabloid website and showed Thomas the pictures from their date. 

“Oh,” Thomas expressed.

“Our friends are a bit curious now,” Alex explained, showing him the texts.

“Are those all the photos they have?” Thomas questioned. “They don’t really have anything revealing. Two colleagues can have dinner together.”

Alex agreed. “I think the problem is more with our friends than in the press at this point.” 

“I concur. I don’t think this is anything more than tabloid gossip. They don’t have anything.” Thomas affirmed. “Our friends, on the other hand, are quite astute... At least some of them. What would you prefer to do?”

“I love sneaking around with you,” Alex started. She let her fingers explore his chest. “But, it would be so much easier if our friends knew. We wouldn’t have to avoid each other when we are all together.”

“I knew I could only keep you to myself for so long,” Thomas admitted, brushing a stray strand of hair out of her face. “Tell them... However, I do hope we can still find time to sneak off–just us.” 

Alex kissed Thomas softly, pushing him back down in the lounge chair. “I believe that can be arranged.”

Alex relaxed into Thomas’s arms, resting her head on his shoulder. She grinned as she started replying to her friends. 

Alex texted Victoria first: Don’t hate me!

Victoria: I can’t believe you lied to me.😞

Alex: I’m sorry. We wanted to see how things went first before telling anyone.

Victoria: 😲Wait… are you guys like… dating? I thought you just bailed on me for dinner

Alex: I think it’s safe to say we are together 😊 Alex texted Victoria a selfie of her laying in Thomas’s arms.

Victoria: OMG ALEX!!!! Victoria: I’m so happy for you Victoria: When did this start?! Victoria: How did it happen? Victoria: I NEED DETAILS!!!

Alex: I promise I will answer all your questions when we get back

Next, Alex texted Chazz.

Alex: Thanks for letting me know. We’re going to ignore the press. Let them speculate. But, we did decide to tell our friends, so you don’t have to suffer through our longing looks at the next party 😉

Chazz: Sounds good. And thank you!!!

Alex texted Addison next.

Alex: Maybe!!!

Addison: Finally!!! I’ve literally been hoping this would happen for months. I wish I could explain to you how he looks at you when he thinks no one is watching. I'm glad he finally did something about it! I know he can be a little rough around the edges but, he’s a good one!

Alex: I think so too! 😊

Finally, Alex replied to Chris.

Alex: No press… just dinner.

Chris: Make sure Thomas knows how lucky he is!

Alex: I think he knows

As Alex finished the first round of texts, more came pouring in. Alex put her phone back on the table. They could wait. 

“Are you sure you're okay with this?” Alex asked looking up at Thomas. 

He kissed the top of her head. “I was going to ask you the same thing.”

“Why” Alex questioned curiously.

“I still can’t believe you’re with me, Alex,” Thomas caressed her cheek. “Part of me convinced myself that I was just your secret tryst. I was okay with that! Telling other people makes it real. It makes us real.”

“Thomas, of course, we’re real” Alex expressed. “As is the way I feel about you. I want to share that with our friends. They should know how happy you make me.”

“As you do for me,” Thomas added. “It is a privilege to share our happiness with our friends.”

Thomas lifted Alex’s chin and guided her lips to his. Her lips parted to meet his. Her mouth was warm and inviting. He let his tongue meet with hers. Alex ran her fingers through his hair, pulling him closer. 

“I can’t wait to make all our friends jealous,” Alex teased when they finally broke apart.

Thomas pulled her back into his arms, holding her close as they relaxed under the warm sun by the lake.

Abby has a 'CC 2017 A Year in Review' post. It's fascinating. Totally convinced me they are 100000000% correct. Darren and Chris were both at 2 events. Darren wore his God Save the Queer shirt. TLOS is definitely a representation of CC.Oh, there are pictures of them in similar poses!!! They tweeted on the same day!! Darren sang songs from Glee. I'm convinced. She really knows her shit. #sarcasm is dripping off this message, btw. She's a certifiable nutcase. Go read for yourself. its Hilarious!

I cracked up when she said they were both at the LA Women’s March with the several million other people who went. How is that different from “they both live in LA”?  

The God Save the Queer T-shirt is her most treasured post-Glee “proof”. She is sure that he wears that because he is saying ‘I’m queer’.  It isn’t simply that  he is wearing a LGBTQ-positive shirt to an LGBTQ events. Darren and Mia’s entire group carried pro-LGBTQ and women’s signs at the women’s march.

They also both went to a huge Adam Lambert concert thousands of their friends.  The man was on Glee and Darren never misses a music event... of course they went.  One rando posted a Tweet claiming that Darren and Chris were talking and Abby buys it.  His 27 likes and 4 retweets is proof enough for me!  It’s cclove. 

Darren and Chris both went to spirit day- a LGBTQ support event.  That’s huge...why would both men attend an LGBTQ-positive hosted by their friend Justin Trantor if they weren’t together? It makes NOOOO sense.  THEY WORE MATCHING OUTFITS, FFS!!!! Jeans, a Jean jacket and a t-shirt is not a common outfit for a 30-ish yo man at a causal event so IT’S PROOF.  History is not wrong!

We cannot forget TLOS 6: A Love Letter to Darren Criss by Chris Colfer.   Darren released a song called Lost Boys Life written by his brother that is clearly about a man on the road missing his love. But ccers immediately declared that Darren actually wrote it -plausible deniability-because it “reeks of CC”. That along with it’s Peter Pan reference and Chris’s dedication  “Let’s never grow old together” is PROOF PROOF PROOF PROOF OMG ITS PROOF.  And O.M.G. Froggy is on the cover in the Mirror that MorInA put him in and Chris is a petty dick so we know that is about Darren.  He also called MorInA a goat - he’s such a misogynistic dick and I LOVE IT. 

“And this amazing quote that speaks for itself:“Only idiots listen with their eyes” she said. “if people don’t hear your words, that shout them. If people silence you, then write your message with fire. Demanding respect is never easy but if something you love is at stake, then i’d say it’s worth the price”.   (Ok, I gotta be honest, all sarcasm aside, how the fuck does she not see this is what she is doing and realize he was calling out people like her?  How does she believe this was something cc positive? Also all the STFF stuff...how is she so obtuse?).

Oh I forgot they both posted childhood photos on the same TBT -nobody else did that...nope never.  

Chris denied he watched AVPM -not because it’s been a decade and he forgot-or it doesn’t really mean anything to him but   because CC IS SO ON. “Denial of AVPMI know for a fact this was not a planned question. He was caught by surprise and instead of answering truthfully, Chris got flustered and denied seeing AVPM when it has been documented countless times that not only has he seen it, he was a huge fanboy.” 

Also these two nonsense statements “That time when Chris was asked if he kept in touch with D and he said “Kind of Sort of”The Promo Interview right before TLOS was released on the SocialIf it’s on social media, you’re not happenin’. I try to keep my personal life personal, and not mix the two. It’s hard to do, but I try.” All CC positive moments in 2017. 

I’m just going to leave this one without sarcastic comment because it speaks for itself: 

A Doll’s House Part 2.  

“A show chris saw when promoting TLOS and that months later we discover Darren saw as well yet not one photo or tweet placing him there unlike the myriad of other shows he sees where there are copious pics and accounts. Both loved it.” (Ok, I give it a Huh? Darren goes out all the time and we don’t know most of the time. He has said so but of course he didn’t say so with a social media post so ccers don’t count it).  

Chris wore his “cc” scarf in London...yes a scarf he wore in an actual picture of Chris and Darren from an early event is somehow a cc scarf.  Oi vey.  

and Darren’s ccfamous tweet where he used a Batman gif saying “I don’t want this” is ccproof becuase he was telling us he doesn’t want his life but he’s in too deep to get out now

When will this end? 

This was followed by Chris’ Epic Snap Chat, Don’t you wish your bunny was cute like me that can be found here (x)” in which Chris posted a filter of a bunny on his face and voice singing “don’t you wish your bunny was hot like me’ I would imagine that Mia must have used a similar filter somewhere int he last 6 months prior to this “so much shade” from Chris. Again he’s a dick.   

And there was the time Darren waited over a week to respond to a tweet, a tweet posted on May 27.  It should be noted he chose his tweet to respond of the likely thousands he was tagged in as i was right after the selfie and the CG show. Further, he replied right after Chris posted his Peru pic where he claims to have spent his birthday. (In other words I”m really grasping here) 

I Don’t Mind” a song that is so clearly about Chris even though he has since mentioned he wrote it during his teenage years in San Fransisco. Her 2017 proof isn’t that he wrote the song about Chris but that he didn’t play it in 2017 even though it was on two playlists and he made a big to do about no playing it at Elsie Fest. 

“Remember that Variety Article, an Exclusive About Indigo that originally contained this quote:Colfer’s news comes a day after his former on-screen love interest Darren Criss reunited with Murphy with a starring role on season three of anthology American Crime Story. So mysterious how it was edited out almost immediately”. 

TLOS movie and ACS Versace moving to season 2 happened on the same day- I believe that movie news is in Variety on the same day hence it gets out to press on the same day.  

Then we come to more mirror imagine photos -years apart 

Darren sang Glee songs which means he loves Chris- Hopelessly Devoted

Recolors are really easy to do, there are tons of tutorials on YouTube that will help with that. Ombre accessories are a bit challenging but hopefully I can get a tutorial for those out one day. Converting to kids is really simple if you know Blender basics, you can use my converting to adults tutorial to get an idea of how a conversion would work.

REMOVE DOUBLES!!!! lmao that is the only way you will get anything done in edit mode. Proportional Edit Tool and Removing doubles from the entire mesh makes it a lot easier than sculpt mode. Make sure to split edges later though

I... I really love my children, but I’ve been skipping over the more useless dialogue--I deleted a lot of writing and pictures of them being cute but awkward and a bit of “okay where does it go” type stuff--which is cute, and realistic, but didn’t fit well into the queue and dragged the scene out a looooooot longer than it was. So I cut it.

OMG. So, we went to one those dollar plus stores, and there was a table of skinny jeans. I naturally chose a size up because they didn’t have my regular size anyway. And those bigger jeans, a size up, passed my neck wrap test perfectly. I got blue and dark blue, they were $20 each.

Went home and tried them on. They fit like thick leggings. No waist gap at all, it was like gloves. Felt like satin, sliding over the thickest part of my thighs. The inseam was a couple inches long and it bunched at the ankle but it was comfortable. Remember, I am four-ten. The 7/8 size even had enough room so I could push out my belly, which is another important test, to see how well the waist could stretch.

Curious, I looked at the tag and saw that they were mostly ramie, with cotton, polyester, spandex. Ramie is a freaking amazing material, I forgot it was used in pants! Cool. In a couple months I plan on going back and getting a couple more pairs, maybe two sizes up just in case.

Earlier at Rugged Warehouse, I looked at boys and men’s jeans. The 30 was the only one that fit for my hips but the waist gap was clown like. There were no boys jeans large enough. I tried a 16 and my thighs laughed. My hips are 36-37, my waist 24-26. Couldn’t women’s pants just be numbers like that? Are my numbers so odd? Numbers confuse me.

You know, it makes me think about Vanity Sizing and obsession over being small and slim, being able to humblebrag when your trouser and dress size is, like, two or four.

I am only four feet ten and one quarter inches. In my early twenties, I used to be obsessive about being the skinniest because I was so damn short. I once wore an infant tee that fit under my bust. I was anorexic and emaciated, but I was thinner than everyone, my weight was in the double digits and I was proud, I was tiny, I was what society and industry desired. Right? My college friends tried to make me eat caloric foods. I loved mozzarella sticks. My friends were afraid and worried, giving me tuna and cheese and steak. My face was hollow, my ribs easy to touch. I smiled in the mirror and wore children’s clothes.

At my own wedding, photos showed a glowing snow white dress hanging on a pale snow white bride who seemed hollow, and I barely touched the catered food. Months passed and my new groom cooked extravagant balanced meals that I ate with joy. For my job in a law firm Library I walked and moved every day and ate high calorie food. My coworkers gave me snacks and asked how I felt. When I gained enough weight to break 100 lbs, texting my friends, friends of friends would murmur “oh, look at your friend, who is she, she is beautiful, she is stunning, she glows, we must know who she is.” My friends smiled proudly.

I had filled out, no longer hollow, I was moonlight poured into round curved flesh, flourished and nurtured.

For some time in the past couple of years, I was at a “healthful” weight, or a weight that was balanced to fit me. In the past couple of months I lost fat and revealed muscle and I’m not used to it. I look at inches lost in my buttocks and waist and my mind will always be skewed and messed up by anorexia. In my younger years I would have cheered and felt beautiful, ideal culturally right, good enough to be Admired, look everyone look how small I am.

But these skinny jeans, a size bigger, make me happy and delighted. They bring me a joy better than the kind I had in my mid twenties when getting thinner mattered, when numbers mattered. My hips will never shrink to the measurements of Victoria Secret models. My hips are the hips of my Mediterranean and Russian-Asian ancestor women, strong and hearty. I am not a size two anymore and I don’t care. I’m not an actress or model who must fit into a sample size. Even if I were, it wouldn’t matter. I was and am an artists’ model, they love hips. I’ve worked for my mother, who teaches art anatomy drawing courses and I’m one of her best fluid models, my poses convey motion and power, and my curved form is fun to sketch. Mom paints me from memory, even when I was anorexic she filled me out gently.

Anyway I got off track. Maybe I got a little condescending. It’s fine, though. I’m older than I was and I’ve learned more. (“In modern Western usage, the word condescension, condescending, has a strictly negative connotation due to an egalitarian conception of relationships. In the past, the word could be used in a positive sense when a person of higher status was willing to introduce a high degree of mutuality into their relationships with people of lower status.”) A Tumblr anonymous pm called me that regarding my TMNT rants, condescending, and I felt thankful. Aaaanyways. Uh. Wooow. Okay. The, uh, the skinny jeans found at the Dollar And More store next to the HMart. The ones made out of Ramie.

(Brand names are Bamboo for the light blue, Tush Push for the dark blue. They are basically the same except for the sequins. I like the Bamboo better, just a little. I need to take a selfie or have husband Adam take a photo. Srsly, no waist gap, not even for this lady with hyperlordosis. I feel like I won something.)

I think the whole point is that I am okay with the me that I am. I only just realized I am gendervague femme demigirl after all, which probably played a part. I think I’ll get my eyebrows waxed finally, but I’m not wearing a dress without pants. And I’ll never wear heels unless they’re boots. See this is why I love the TMNT. They’re only half human. They don’t need to worry about girly and manly things. Mikey looks amazing in a dress, does Donnie. I don’t know if they can fit in skinny jeans but they would rock them, think about the muscles. I finally have visible muscles. Physical therapy for cerebral palsy does me well.

Well, I forgot it at the concert and it was too late to go back and get it because we were already downstairs and near the doors. It was cute and I only had it for a few months. I blame “Chunks” for throwing up twice before me and I had to clean up the mess while I was still drunk. I like to think his vomit made me vomit.
