One of my favorite dresses from my Rhaena board where I give her the wardrobe she deserves one Pinterest post at a time. (yes I know the model doesn't look like book! or show! Rhaena but whatever) I love the rich blue with the deep pink damask combination and the flowers. Perfect for Rhaena.

Happy Halloween, You’re The Only Sugar I Need
[i didn’t have a lot of time to come up with halloween ideas, so have these cute lil hc’s about what it would be like to trick or treat with the bnha babies!💓]
*☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚
Izuku Midoriya
did someone say couple costumes?
plans his costume out in july, and has it perfect by august
he knows all the best routes and houses like the back of his hand - nothing but full size candy bars for his baby (you💓) duh!
no haunted houses for him, he just wants to hold your hand as you walk through the neighborhood
he’s the most fair when it comes to candy negotiations, offering up two skittles bags for one set of jelly chew jolly ranchers and making sure the butterfingers were evenly divided
since he’s an expert on trick or treating (your words not his, he blushes for a full thirty minutes after you tell him) you’re both home fairly early, only out a little under an hour
which means: halloween jammies, takeout, and all your halloween candy piled up on the table while you watch spooky godmother together <3
and perhaps there’s a heated makeout session that ends with your hands down the front of his onesie ;)
Katsuki Bakugo
he always wants to go as something horrifically extra - he pretends it’s all your idea, but you know he’s been pinterest scrolling it for a solid month
his goal is quantity over quality here; the more candy he has the better, so you’re both hitting every neighborhood till the streetlights flicker on
he also wants to do every “haunted house” he spots along the way, dragging you in to suffer with him
he likes the spook
you’re out the latest, but it’s still fun - mainly because you’d convinced him to piggy back carry you home after
he’s fair but strict in his candy negotiations - he won’t let you cheat him out of a full sized kitkat bar just because you’re adorable his s/o. he requires at least three kisses and two mini crunch bars in exchange
you watch endless slasher films and bad horror classics, and cuddle under the biggest fluffiest blanket you own
somewhere during the “scary movie” series he’s got you pinned, kissing a hot trail up your neck and there goes the movie session ;)
Hanta Sero
hanta 1000% wants to do meme couple costumes, and you’re whipped for his smile, so-
plans his costume out a while back, but procrastinates getting it together until two days before (and yet, it still looks amazing?)
doesn’t really have a route or plan in mind, he just wants to wander around holding hands and kissing every time you see a pumpkin (like punch buggy but sweeter <3)
he’s honestly probably the most confusing with his candy negotiations - “how does a mini snickers and a bag of pretzels equal a york patty, hanta?”
the boy has weird candy tastes but you love him anyways
you’re out a decent amount of time, a little over an hour & change
he wants to watch every cult classic horror film ever, so prepare not to sleep
halfway through he’s too busy smiling with his tongue in your mouth though, so its a win in your book ;)
Hitoshi Shinso
hitoshi always wants to go as some super obscure film or literary pair
he’s not too early in his planning, or too late. he finishes his costume with time to spare but he doesn’t rush, either
he’s not keen on being out too late but he indulges you for a bit, sneaking kisses here and there
he’s not big on candy either, so he ends up giving you most of his basket anyway - although there’s certain things he won’t part with.
“you’re serious? i cant even have one?”
“no. all the reese’s cups are mine, & that’s final.”
you’ll get smooches because he feels bad
you’ll spend the rest of the evening with your head on his chest, listening to him read you Poe snuggled under a blanket with tea.
and halfway through lady ligeria his hands will creep up the back of your sweater, and suddenly you’re doing much more kissing than reading ;)
Yaoyorozu Momo
momo definitely wants to do something elegant and fancy with you for costumes
she gets everything tailored and ready weeks in advance, duh
momo’s house is the one giving out full sized candy bars, so is trick or treating even necessary? yes it is
you spend about an hour giggling and sharing a candy basket, everyone awwing over the pair of you
there’s no candy negotiations because you share <3
you play board games with the charlie brown halloween special in the background
she wins every time that girl’s a menace
“since i’ve won twenty four of our twenty six games, i’ll be claiming my prize now.”
her prize is kissing you senseless on the floor, smiling into each other’s mouths with wandering hands ;)
Tsuyu Asui
dorky costumes? dorky costumes. think dorothy and the tin man, but cute
she plans both your costumes in advance cause she’s just that amazing
you’re out almost as late as possible only because tsu gets excited everytime she sees a decorated house and you’re soft for her
candy negotiations with her are tough; she plays hard to please and you both like too many of the same candies
you end up sharing anyways
halloween movies with tsu are a big mess of funny to scary to animated to wholesome - she loves all of them and you love her, so you’re watching everything
you’re cuddled up in a blanket fort, snuggled into a heap of blankets and it’s so comfortable that you almost fall asleep halfway through poltergeist
until tsuyu starts kissing her way up the sensitive skin of your back, and suddenly kissing is the only thing on your mind ;)
Ojiro Mashirao
he always wants to do a cutesy/romantic couples costume, he’s your prince charming without fail
the two of you work on your costumes together well before halloween - he calls it couple bonding like the cutie he is
you’re not out too late, mostly because you have too many activities planned for when you’re back home
there is no candy negotiation with ojiro; he gives you your favorites and steals your pretzels and m&m’s without a word
you carve pumpkins even though you already have six, make candy apples, and finally snuggle together on the couch to watch some cheesy halloween hallmark specials
he makes you both hot chocolate with plenty of mini marshmallows <3
by the end of the second sappy film you’re licking the chocolate out of his mouth, and he’s only complaining a little
“but (y/n), she’s about to leave it all behind for the lovestruck farmer!”
Eijiro Kirishima
kiri loves halloween, so he’ll gladly be the counterpart to any costume you choose
he’s definitely a procrastinator though, only finishing it the day of
he’s so excited and hyper that you spend nearly two hours trick or treating, being dragged by holding hands with kiri as he marvels at the tiniest of things
he’s the worst at candy negotiations - he’s so soft for you that he’d give you anything you asked, and he’s a sucker for all types of candy so he’s way too easy to please
“sure baby, you can have my crunch bar and my twix for the nerds.”
“eiji those are both full size candy bars-“
“so?”
he wants to watch the scariest of movies because he’s manly, of course, and he promises to protect you from anything too frightening
he ends up curled into your arms, peering at the screen through his fingers and you’re trying really hard not to laugh
distractions come in the form of kisses, though, and soon he’s too busy nipping at the son of your neck to pay attention to the terrifying film ;)
Tamaki Amajiki
tamaki definitely wants to do cheesy pop culture costumes with you - he spends most of his time reading or watching it
his nerves about the whole thing make him finish his costume way too early, but it’s cute
once he’s in costume though, he gains a sort of confidence - he’s somebody who’s not him for a little while, and he boldly holds your hands and kisses your cheek as you wander
tamaki loves candy, so negotiations are difficult - but he loves you a lot more, so he parts with some of his precious stash
you decide on reading scary stories to each other, sitting with your back against his chest in the big armchair, by the fireplace
it’s warm and cozy and you could almost fall asleep like this, until tamaki’s voice wavers as you shift in his lap
the book is quickly forgotten about as you make out softly, and maybe the costume gets a little shredded. oops ;)
Mirio Togata
mirio will literally dress up as anything as long as you match with him
he insists you plan together, takes all of your thoughts into consideration; this is a team effort!
he doesn’t want to be out too late but he can’t help himself, he wants to show you everything
plus he keeps running into people he knows and he wants to show you off
he splits all his candy evenly with you; you’re his baby, he’d give you his kidney if you asked
he’s one for paranormal movies, he gets so wrapped up in the plotlines it’s almost funny
“okay but if i were a ghost, i’d haunt people in the fun way. like, we’d play games or something.”
“you’d make a very nice ghost, babe.”
he gets so caught up in the movies though that he doesn’t even realize when you pounce, tickling him to draw his attention again
it quickly turns from tickles to kisses and kisses to nibbles and suddenly he’s not thinking about ghosts at all ;)
Nejire Hado
the poor baby’s so excited she can’t even choose a costume, so you end up deciding
she’s very involved in the process though, helping out any way she can
trick or treating with nejire is like going with a hyperactive six year old, but it’s adorable. she drags you around for hours
“look! that pumpkins as big as my head! let’s take a picture!”
she’s a candy addict, good luck trying to negotiate any sort of trade. she steals yours when you aren’t looking
you totally notice but you indulge her
you’re watching a movie, making cookies, and playing a board game all at once when you get home
she’s so excited she can’t even sit still, bouncing from activity to activity until you give up and pull her in for a kiss
you get so distracted you forget all about the cookies ;)
“NO! MY PRECIOUS SUGAR PUMPKIN BABIES!”
Uraraka Ochaco
she’s had your costumes planned since last halloween
“but we’ve only been dating four mo-“
“shush and try this on.”
she’s running around the neighborhood with you for hours, isn’t even tired
another big candy thief, shamelessly digging in your basket but she’s cute so you allow it
wants to watch all the sappy halloween movies and compare you guys to the main characters
“that’s so us, oh my god.”
“he’s a baker. and she’s in real estate.”
“it’s us!! im the baker though.”
drinking lots of spiced cider and giving out leftover candy to the few stragglers, she’s got a soft spot for them
lots of cheesy, silly kisses as you cuddle
she’s easily distracted though, kissing down your cheek to your jaw, neck and oops! the movies long forgotten ;)
Denki Kaminari
another meme costumer, but he also wants to look cool. it’s a tricky balance
he keeps putting off getting his costume together, and then he forgets, and then he’s calling you frantic the night before for assistance
he’s a little more relaxed as you walk through the neighborhood, but that’s only because he’s waiting for everyone to discover the pranks he’d set up beforehand
needless to say, trick or treating ends early before he can be murdered
denki’s a candy whore, but he’s willing to make negotiations with you as long as he gets kisses out of it - which you take advantage of to get all his good stuff
you’re curled up together watching nightmare before christmas, a tradition between you because you’d argued for a week straight about whether it was a halloween or christmas movie
the compromise is that you watch it on both holidays
he gets bored after twenty minutes though, restless like always and before you know it he’s kissing wherever he can reach
the movie’s ignored for the rest of the night as the pair of you kiss and giggle and get a little carried away ;)
Mina Ashido
she’s all over the place with her planning but she definitely wants to do something complicated - she loves going all out!
she needs your help to stay on task but your costumes are finished in a decent enough amount of time
first you’re trick or treating, then you’re pulling pranks with denki, then you’re chasing the neighborhood kids around in a silly game of tag - you’re doing so much that you don’t even realize how late it’s gotten
at home she’s still got all that wild excited energy so you make pumpkin pie together despite the hour, making stupid jokes and flicking flour at one another
“if this sticks in my hair you’re dead, (y/n)!”
“love you too, princess.”
somewhere between baking and eating the pie you start making out against the counter, and there’s definitely flour handprints all over the both of you ;)
Mezo Shoji
shoji likes halloween, but he lets you pick out the costumes - he wants you to have a good time!
he’s very helpful throughout the entire process of getting the costumes ready, and you’re done in no time
he lets you drag him all around, using the majority of his arms to carry extra candy baskets - it’s not cheating the system because everyone thinks it’s part of his costume, and there’s six times as much candy now!
he gives the majority of it to you once you’re home again to see you smile - it has been his plan all along to drown you in excess candy, and you’re not complaining
he gets an equal amount of kisses in return
you spend the evening helping the local kids collect as much candy as they can, and shouji makes it his job to escort all the children that are scared up to every house so they don’t miss out
he gets a whole lot more than kisses for that, but who can blame you? your boyfriend was just too sweet for his own good
“i think you’re the only sugar i need, (y/n).”
“you flirt. kiss me again.” ;)
Tokoyami Fumikage
whenever halloween comes around, he goes big. all out. ridiculously detailed, amazing costumes
you help as much as you can, but he’s in his element; he handles most of it himself
his excitement isn’t obvious, but you can see it in the way he slightly pulls you along as you wander. it’s downright adorable
dark shadow is also having the time of his life, popping up to make snarky comments at passrersby and steal candy whenever possible
“god, did she pull that costume off of last years clearance rack?”
“dark shadow, enough.”
he’s not wrong though
candy negotiations are done through dark shadow - your boyfriend would’ve given you all the good stuff without questioning it, and his counterpart can’t have that
you end up sitting outside to watch the stars, tokoyami cuddled into your chest and all it takes is a few well placed kisses to his plumage to have dark shadow sweep you up and take you right inside for some evening fun ;)
[i tried to write as many as i could, i hope you all enjoy bbs! happy halloween 🎃 🧡]

let's get those Multiples Of Four for the lihn asks
Thank Yoy here i gooo
4) Favorite exchange(s)?
i like the conversation when sheila stays behind with susannah while the latter gets changed into the uniform skirt or whichever costume piece lol and susannah is clearly like trying to Fit In as she would with the girls as a whole group re: just sheila but that's not really what sheila herself is about so it's not going anywhere at first. it was very funny when judith just smacks susannah's lunch tray straight down onto the floor rip. and of course i love kitty Addressing susannah leading into masochist
8) Favorite costume(s)?
hmm not great at noticing these details (especially the first time around and in non-hq footage lol) but i Did notice (and appreciate) how all the characters were costumed quite differently in a very Personal Style sort of way, v helpful to characterize them each and help distinguish them earlier on. i did like susannah's costumes a lot with the yellow / purple and patterns and vests and carefully styled hair and her post-timeskip look was fantastic as well
12) Favorite background moment(s)?
again i was pretty focused on the foreground stuff really lol and i don't really remember anything where i was noticing something happening only in the background. but a more Literal background moment, i too really enjoyed the silhouettes of the girls striking poses being projected onto the bg behind susannah at the beginning of the show, very effective and Dramatic
16) Underrated moment(s) in the show?
i don't think i have a real answer re: what's Underrated mostly b/c i've already seen so much good analysis & appreciation from people about pretty much everything........so a vaguely tangential answer is about wishing it was just a Little more evident that Kitty And Dorothy Have Their Own Thing Going On, which like, yeah maybe it's easier to tell in person watching the show, but......and i Do like that kitty's connection to susannah is so clearly more general than their Relationships (or potential ones / wanting one) b/c of course susannah's dilemma around goes beyond Just the particular forbidden romance with this particular person
i also found judith's character like, nonzero engaging, which is just like i hadn't heard much about her prior i don't think. not as though she's at all Likeable in the sense of like if you were in the show you would not like this character who is both a bully and a narc but it's still like, good for her eventually realizing the error of her ways even if it'd've been good to realize it Before miss asp made it clear she was only ever intending to use judith, and like, maybe if your snitching on a girl had indirectly led to her death you'd stop narcing on everyone instead of just setting up the same situation again. but at least she comes around and threatens francis and even her awfulness can be funnier than the awfulness of other characters who are being awful
20) Headcanon(s) for what happens before the show?
oof that's tricky since so much stuff in the show is unveiling ppl's Backstory / what's happened prior.....idk i was gonna say i wonder how kitty got makeup kits into nation but maybe they're allowed / it's allowed for her b/c her parents are paying so much. not very exciting
24) The Other One or Oh Well?
did have to confirm which one The Other One is but i guess that one lmfao i just have a great time with sheila going off on those verses and it's fun how it's this playful song about them bonding over being rejected.....the "and i guess i don't know how to feel about it" delivery is v funny. much respect and appreciation for Oh Well though of course
28) Something you like/have noticed about the show that you haven’t seen anyone else mention yet?
i'm not sure there Was much that i noticed that i hadn't heard about prior......tbh i think there were just a few Plot Points i hadn't already heard discussed but they weren't exactly Fun ones so i was like hm yeah i can see why ppl wouldn't necessarily specifically address this for kicks
32) If only one could happen, would you prefer a cast recording or an Off-Broadway run?
i agree w/ p much everyone, gotta love the increased availability of a cast recording.....will be around for more than a few weeks, will cost less to obtain the experience, and around here Who Knows what cast recordings will spark. love how plausible it is that lihn Will get a cast recording, here's hoping
36) Favorite song(s) off the Hits of Nation/character playlists?
seeing as i forgot these playlists exist, f, and i have never heard music i just checked for which songs i know i know off the top of my head lol. s/o to each of the girls having iko iko by the dixie cups on their playlists, guess that's some required listening
[susannah: l.e.s. artistes by santigold], [rat: one way or another by blondie, i got a rocket in my pocket by jimmie lloyd (which i've only partially heard b/c it plays in the bg of a The Iron Giant scene lmao so this only counts like 1/3 of the way)] [kitty: diamonds are a girl's best friend by marilyn monroe, la vie en rose by edith piaf, anthems for a seventeen year old girl by broken social scene] [ya-ya: sugar sugar by the archies] [miss asp: i THINK i've heard "straighten up and fly right" and "if i knew you were comin i'd've baked a cake" but i don't especially wanna look them up and confirm lmao. know "i'm proud to be an american" and "god bless the usa" lol ew. "comfortably numb" by pink floyd and "whatever will be will be" by doris day et al and "my heart will go on" by celine dion] [first of all interesting that francis and buzz share a playlist but i guess really all of the roles by The Guy are pretty functionally similar lol. accentuate the positive by perry cuomo, blowin in the wind by bob dylan, i Think i've heard hang on to your ego by the beach boys but i think i forget how it goes]
40) What does LIHN mean to you?
hmm well classic iconis content around here with the shows celebrating misfit weirdos and him always trying to write a show about people who usually wouldn't get a show written about them and creating this material for an all-girl show with only one token The Guy and the Lead specifically being a black girl and there being a specifically trans role as well.....love how much people have been enjoying it even as it took me ages to get around to Consuming it myself, and it's been v cool for it to be so like, here's Totally New Material. even prior to me having actually seen it, it was also definitely nice to have This in the wake of august to interrupt the [lying facedown], and again it was fun to even secondhand have ppl having a great time w/ the show and getting to appreciate the Content and Analysis happening hell yea
44) Favorite non show/cabaret performance of a song?
oop i might've only seen the non-show video for "oh well" so guess it wins! fine by me
48) Favorite time Francis was wrong?
it's pretty classic / all-encompassing when he very strongly implies that susannah has no choice but to marry him / no Hope for her Future otherwise

"MEN IN BLACK 3" (2012) Review
"MEN IN BLACK 3" (2012) Review After 2002's "MEN IN BLACK II", I never thought I would ever see another movie from the franchise based upon Lowell Cunningham's The Men in Black comic book series. Never. After all, it was not exactly a critical success and was barely a commercial hit. And yet . . . the team from the first two movies went ahead and created a third one for the franchise.
"MEN IN BLACK 3" picks up ten years after the last movie, “MEN IN BLACK II”. Boris the Animal, the last surviving member of the Boglodite species, escapes from the LunarMax prison on Earth's moon with the intention of seeking revenge against the MIB agent responsible for his arrest and loss of arm - Agent K. The latter discovers during a skirmish he and Agent J experience at a local Chinese restaurant that Boris has escaped. Unfortunately for Agent K, Boris arrives in Manhattan and seeks Jeffrey Price, the son of a fellow prisoner who had possession of a few time-jump mechanisms. Not much time passes before Agent K disappears from existence and Agent J is the only one who remembers his partner. Agent O, who is MIB's new Chief following Zed's passing, deduces from Agent J's statements that a fracture has occurred in the space-time continuum. The two realize Boris must have time-jumped to 1969 and killed K. And now an imminent Boglodite invasion threatens Earth, due to the absence of the protective ArcNet that K had installed in 1969. J acquires a similar time-jump mechanism from Price, jumps off the Chrysler Building in order to reach time-travel velocity, and arrives in July 1969, a day before Boris kills K. When I learned that Steven Spielberg, director Barry Sonnenfeld, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones planned to do a third MEN IN BLACK movie; I could only shake my head in disbelief. Mind you, I did not dislike the second film. But it seemed a disappointment in compare to the quality of 1997 original movie. But in the end, I could not say no to a MEN IN BLACK movie. And thank God I did go see it. Now, "MEN IN BLACK 3" was not perfect. There were a few aspects about Etan Cohen's screenplay that left me scratching my head. If Boris the Animal (oops! I mean Boris) had been imprisoned in the LunarMax prison for over 40 years, how on earth did Boris' girlfriend Lily, who helped him escape, learn about his existence in the first place? I am also a little confused about Agent J and Agent K's ages. According to 1997's "MEN IN BLACK", Agent k was a teenager in New Jersey when he experienced his first alien encounter before becoming a member of the Men in Black agency in 1961 or 1962. Yet, according to Cohen's script, Agent K was a Texas native born in 1940. As for Agent J, he was at least four years old in July 1969. Which makes him at least 46 or 47 years old in this story. I could have sworn he was at least three or four years younger. Oh well. However, by the time I became deeply engrossed in the story, I managed to forget these questionable aspects of "MEN IN BLACK 3". I believe that "MEN IN BLACK" is the funnier movie. I cannot deny this. However, I feel that "MEN IN BLACK 3" had the best plot of the three films. Time travel tends to be a hit-or-miss topic when it comes to the science-fiction genre. Aside from the questionable aspects of Agents K and J's ages, I feel that "MEN IN BLACK 3" provided a first-rate time travel story. One, Agent J proved to be the right character chosen for a time travel mission. Being over twenty years younger than his partner, he was the right person to see New York City and Cape Canaveral in 1969. Boris' reasons for time travel proved to be a heady mixture of personal vengeance and the successful completion of his original mission to kill a refugee alien named Griffin, who possessed the ArcNet, a satellite device that would prevent Boris' species, the Boglodites, from invading Earth and destroying mankind. Agent J's time travel adventures gave audiences two peaks into what it must have been like for an African-American in the 1960s New York - something that the TV series "MAD MEN" more or less failed to do after five seasons. Kudos to director Barry Sonnenfeld for keeping this fascinating tale hilarious, poignant and on track. Not only did "MEN IN BLACK 3" provided a first-rate time travel story, it also possessed some memorable scenes that I will never forget. My favorite scenes include the brief, yet bizarre memorial service for the recently dead Agent Zed; Agents K and J's skirmish with some truly bizarre agents at a Chinese restaurant that I would not recommend to humans; Agent J's initial time jump to 1969; J's hilarious elevator encounter with a bigot fearful of being in close proximity with a black man; Agent J and young Agent K's very funny and surprising meeting with "Andy Warhol" at the latter's factory; the two agents' meeting with Griffin at Shea Stadium; the meeting between old and young Boris in 1969; and Agent J's discovery at Cape Canaveral of the true reason behind K's strange behavior at the beginning of the story. But my favorite moment featured Agent J's discovery that Agent K's habit of ordering pie was even frustrating in the past. The production for "MEN IN BLACK 3" was also first-rate. Danny Elfman continued his outstanding work in providing a score similar to the franchise's signature theme. I found Bill Pope's photography to be rather sharp and colorful - especially the 1969 segments. Don Zimmerman did outstanding work as the film's editor. I was especially impressed by his work in the time jump sequence and the showdown between the MIB agents and Boris at Cape Canaveral. And both Mary E. Vogt's costume designs and Bo Welch's production designs perfectly recaptured the end of the 1960s. As for the performances . . . what can I say? The cast gave some truly outstanding performances in this film. Will Smith was absolutely marvelous as the time traveling Agent J. I thought he gave one of his best performances in a role that required him to be funny and poignant at the same time. I suspect that he more or less carried the movie on his shoulders. But he had fine support from a wonderful Tommy Lee Jones, who allowed audiences another peek into a personality who hid his emotions behind a stoic mask. I just never thought his emotions would be directed at Smith's Agent J. And I never thought Spielberg and Sonnenfeld would find someone who not only could perfectly portray a younger Agent K, but create a similar screen dynamic with Smith. And Josh Brolin proved to be the man who did the job. He was fantastic. Emma Thompson portrayed Agent O, the new leader of the Men in Black agency. And I adored her performance, especially the scene that required her to give a eulogy for Zed at his memorial . . . in an alien language. Alice Eve was charming as the younger Agent O. She and Brolin had a nice chemistry going as two MIB agents attracted to one another. What can I say about Michael Stuhlbarg's performance as the precognitive alien, Griffin? Oh God, he was so wonderful. He portrayed Griffin with a delicious mixture of wisdom and naivety. I wanted to gather him in my arms and squeeze him like a teddy bear. Someone once commented (or complained) that New Zealand comic Jemaine Clement as the movie's main villain, Boris the Animal, was not funny. Frankly, Clement was a lot more scary than funny. But he did have one scene that left me rolling in the aisles with laughter - namely Boris' encounter with his younger self in 1969. Even more important, Clement portrayed Boris as one scary and resourceful villain. What else can I say about "MEN IN BLACK 3"? Sure, it had a few glitches regarding the plot and the two main characters' ages. But thanks to Etan Cohen's script that featured an outstanding time travel story, outstanding performances from a cast led by Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin; the movie turned out to be a first-rate addition to the franchise and one of my favorite movies from the summer of 2012. Thank you Barry Sonnenfeld! You had not lost your touch.

PENTAGON Hui x Ballroom Dancing
9Hello hello! So I’ve decided to change up the essence of the PTGxBALLROOM thing I was planning. I initially got the idea of “how would ptg find out about ballroom? how would they react to it and adapt to it?” but then I realized Kino would probably really be the only one to branch out of his style, so--the PTGxBALLROOM DANCING HCs has evolved into...
PTG BALLROOM DANCERS HCs!
AKA it’s an AU now lmao. Which means I’ll be redoing the Kino one; I won’t delete it, but I’ll take it off the master list. This is also way easier than doing the individual dances lmaoooo, and we can have a better look into how PTG are as purely dancers in a specific style.
As always, if you wanna chat about my Choices™, my ask is always open!
---
Latin dancer who dabbles in Standard. He claims that he has so much energy that he was practically born to dance Latin. Won’t say no to a chill quickstep, though, since he knows the basic steps.
Always the first one to show up to training, but just watches dance videos from other people or is trying to copy choreography out of the ballroom style, instead of getting a headstart on stretching.
CONDITIONING DAYS ARE THE BANE OF HIS EXISTENCE. He hates working out--ironic, really, since he dances for a living, but to each his own.
He’d complain and moan and groan throughout the two hours of conditioning, and it honestly makes the whole thing more bearable for you.
You know he does the occasional push/pull-up though, since he needs toned arms to lead you around.
He’s pretty well-known; he’s joined competitions and ranked quite high in all of them, and he’s appeared in programs like DWTS Korea so even the general public knows him.
They know him as this serious teacher that’s all work/no play, but his partners (in DWTS and you included) know that it’s quite the opposite. You have to actually allot time for goofing off during practice; Hui has so much energy that he just has to get it out.
Loves singing during breaks; like the song you’re practicing to just goes on loop while you get a drink of water, and Hui starts belting along like it’s nothing. You have a few recordings on your phone and joke that it’s your blackmail material.
Hui has an Instagram, but he rarely posts; his followers are lucky if he posts something twice a month, or something that’s not promotional material for something.
When he does, he usually uploads dance videos (samba or cha-cha-cha, and the occasional rumba, but only with you)
There is one (1) selfie he posted, in full costume after a competition. He’s sweaty, and wisps of hair that couldn’t be held by the gel anymore fall around his face. He still has eyeliner on, but it’s a tad smudged. It’s his most liked IG post to date.
His favorite dance is the jive. Lots of opportunity to show fancy footwork and tricks, and he prefers the faster dances. In Hui’s head, the jive is one of the only dances where you can genuinely just be happy because the dance makes you so tired you can’t really do anything else.
He also loves the rumba. Since you’re one of the partnerships that is a couple in real life, he loves utilizing the chemistry you already have in the dance. The resulting choreography you come up with is steamy, and there’s been times when your coach tells you to tone it down a little (oops). If the jive is the main course, he treats the rumba as a dessert, or like the cool-down part of the exercise.
As a lead, Hui is very reliable. He’s like a tree, the best kind of lead. He retains choreography really well, and you can count on him to be there to support you through the dance, and guide you if your forget the steps. There are times when he forgets the choreo, though, but his mistakes are tiny and happen very rarely, usually when he’s really tired or nervous.
Is really good friends with a fellow dancer and composer, Kang Kino, who made a song called “La Di Da” and invited you and Hui to shoot a dance video with him and his partner.
All four of you made the choreography in one night for the whole song, and spent the whole of the next day shooting the video in different locations.
One of the verses required a line dance for the boys in the park, so there the four of you are (plus a videographer friend) blasting music from your phones while people just watch and film. You noticed lots of girls in uniforms stopping to ogle at them to film.
The video was uploaded on Kino’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, and it basically went viral. Kino linked all your social media accounts on the post, so Hui’s barely active Instagram got some 2,000 followers in one night.

i want. you to answer all the pokemon asks. is that greedy xD i can just send a few if its too much!
Of course not!! I love getting asks and this gives me the perfect opportunity to babble more about my self-insert life in the pokemon world!!
@xzienne sent me a bunch too so I’m just gonna answer all of them at once here! Sorry it took so long - I was halfway done and then my computer restarted itself and I lost all the work I’d done oops ^_^”Here we go!!
fresh water: which pokémon would be your main partner (starter or not)?
The biggest, roundest Raichu the world has ever seen! He used to ride on my shoulder as a Pikachu but now he’s a bit big for that, so I give him piggybacks instead!
rare candy: would you travel alone or with other trainers?
Ideally, a bit of both. I love the idea of having a bunch of human friends to journey with and support each other, but sometimes I just need my own space, so I’d be just as content going off with my pokemon and meeting up with people occasionally in different towns. Cause after all, you’re never alone when you have pokemon with you!
soda pop: how would you spend your money?
I’d probably do what I do in the games and buy healing items in bulk, even those you don’t think you’ll need super often, cause it’s always better safe than sorry! Otherwise, probably a good chunk would go on food and on pampering my pokemon with fancy treats and ribbons and things ^_^
lumiose galette: what would you wear on your journey?
I want to be comfy, so it wouldn’t be the most elaborate, but I still think it’d look cool. High waisted jeans, a black tank top, either a green or yellow jacket covered in a heap of pins and patches. Good sturdy boots. Though a part of me wants to get myself a big pair of chunky heels so I can be Tall and Fancy ^_^ Maybe I’ll carry those as backup shoes! Big satchel to hold everything with a couple of charms hanging off it! A Z Ring and Keystone (I’d wear it as a necklace)
lemonade: what would your battling style/strategy be?
My main battling team are all electric types, and I run double battles with them! A surprising amount of electric pokemon can lean Rain Dance, so combine that with Electric Terrain, then you’ve got a speed boost for certain pokemon, nobody can fall asleep, electric moves get a boost and Thunder has 100% accuracy! On top of that, some of my pokemon have the Volt Absorb ability, so field sweeping moves like Discharge actually benefit them to be hit by!
casteliacone: where in the pokémon world would you go for vacation?
I’d love to explore the Orange Islands!! Otherwise, I feel like Kalos would be a really lovely place to take a holiday! Also Fula City!! It looks so lively and bright!!
moomoo milk: how often would you visit home?
I’d probably try and go home every few months or so, depending on where I was travelling at the time, though I’d most likely only stay for a few days at a time before hitting the road again~
lava cookie: what would be your most-used key item?
Excluding Z Rings/Mega Stones here, and considering I can’t ride a bike to save my life, probably the Berry Blender and Pokeblock Case honestly! I love to spoil my pokemon and while Coordinating isn’t my primary focus, it’s definitely something I do and enjoy~
berry juice: what would you pack with you on your journey?
Pillow, blanket, first-aid kit, matches or a lighter, big water bottle, one of those tiny picnic sets where you get a plate/bowl/cutlery, notebook and a handful of pens, phone and charger, needle and thread, polaroid camera, bag of toiletries and a few spare clothes (I’d wash them in rivers or at local coin laundromats), pokeblock case (I’d use the public berry blenders cause I imagine those things are heavy!!), headphones, a giant mixed pile of healing items and there’d always be handfuls of loose change, dried berries, trail mix and candy at the bottom of my bag!!… I feel like I’m forgetting stuff, but I should draw one of those “What’s in your bag?” things for this
old gateau: which city/region would you choose to live in?
Johto!!! Specifically, Olivine City!! I’ve always been in love with the place, and I think it would a wonderful spot to live! Alternatively, Lilycove City in Hoenn is also wonderful~
tea: when you’re not battling/coordinating, how would you spend your time?
I’m a breeder!! I breed Pichu and make sure I find good homes for all of them! Otherwise, I go traveling around the coastlines, swim with my Vaporeon and surf with some of my Pikachu who know how! We just take a week or two to camp out on/near a beach far from home and relax, collecting shells and taking photos of Wingull. It’s always a good, chill time ^_^
ragecandybar: who would be your rival? tag them!
As a league challenger, my rival is 100% @petticoat-swashbuckler!! We’ve legitimately had IRL conversations about pokemon where we sounded like arguing anime characters! We have very different ideas about how to raise pokemon, which means we tend to butt heads a fair bit, but she’s a strong and confident trainer who I really respect, our differences aside, because I know she really does love her pokemon and I always enjoy our battles, even if our paths don’t cross too often out on the trail~
In the coordinating circuit, @musashi is my rival!! We’ve come head to head a few times now and while I’ve won a few ribbons, none of them have been from beating her. One day I will though! She inspires and encourages me to push myself as a coordinator and I always look forward to seeing her in the contest hall~
poké puffs: what would your favorite traveling snack be?
Trail mix is good!! Anything I can spend a long time chewing on is also a favourite, so stuff like jerky or dried fruit are definitely a go-to~
honey: how would you pamper your pokémon?
Lots of pokeblock! Poffins and pokepuffs too when I can get my hands on those. I’d take them to specialist groomers as often as I had the money, and we’d take trips to carnivals and fairs whenever we got the chance, were I’d buy them all the treats they wanted and take them on as many rides as would allow them on. Fancy little ribbons and costumes for those who like dressing up, lots of trips to the beach!! They’d all be so loved and spoiled!
aprijuice: what would be your preferred method of travel?
As I said before, I can’t ride a bike to save my life, so a lot of the journey would be on foot, or flying on my Pidgeot if I had really big distances to cover and limited time to do it.
sweet heart: would you be a league challenger or coordinator?
Both, though I’m a battler at heart~ I’d try and dedicate and equal amount of time to both, though if I ended up missing a contest season for one reason or another, it wouldn’t be the end of the world for me - there’s always next time and it means I can redirect my energy into working on battle strategies rather than appeals
poffin: would you sleep on the trail, in a hotel, or in the Pokémon Center lobby?
So long as I have something decent under my back, I can sleep anywhere, though I’d definitely prefer being indoors when I can. Hotels would probably be a luxury I’d save for traveling for contests, so Pokemon Center lobbies for sure! They always seem really cosy and inviting anyhow~
berry: what would your trainer class be?
Ideally, I’d become a gym leader!! Though other than that, probably Ace Trainer!!
shalour sable: which evil organization would you take down?I’m setting up a facebook event called “Team Magma Meet Me Behind The Pokemart Dumpster At 3:15am For An Ass Kicking” as we speak xD
#this took so long to get through but I had so much fun with it!!!#general reminder that I'm always happy to talk about my self-insert life in the pokemon world if people have questions!!#ok now what are the tags I normally use for this sort of thing#mystery gift#trainer card#to be the very best#I think those are the only ones

arb’s high quality live reflections: Aqours 3rd Live Tour Fukuoka Day 1
I had actually written one of these for Saitama, but I ended up not finishing it until after Osaka. Oops.
The venue
Since I have school Monday morning, I couldn’t fly and instead went to the notorious Shinjuku Piccadilly, former home of fights and ietaiga, for LV. Though, things seem to have calmed down quite a bit since the beginning of the year. And I mean quite a bit. The theater was honestly deader than NA DV for the first two hours or so. After a few surprises, the energy started rising, and by the end we were fine, but the first half or so of the live definitely could have used more energy.
Since it’s my first time LV instead of DV or venue, I expected my experience to be like a “lesser” version of what people actually at Fukuoka got. But that definitely wasn’t the case. Even without being there, just being the first to experience the events of a live, not knowing what’s about to happen next, makes things feel so much more real and special. I’m not just remembering things I saw on Twitter or Discord anymore; I’m experiencing things with my own two eyes.
As a funny side note, there was actually an earthquake in the region towards the end. Everyone suddenly reacted to it, but it was only a magnitude 3 so the show continued on.
Segments of note
Opening MC
God this became an absolute circus. Arisha forgot to do her buubuu desuwa and everyone was confused, then Ainya forgot to do her Lock On. Arisha does the first diahooo but then doesn’t bother with the second one, and says that the buubuu is on her today. Then FKT forgets how to speak Japanese and starts doing calisthenics. Fun times were had by all.
MIRACLE WAVE
This was a really interesting one. The song starts off, and as always, Anchan is in the back. But rather than just nervousness on her face, like the last 4 times, she had an incredibly pained looked on her face. Like she was really worried about something. Of course, her flip goes well and the song ends as it should, but in the MC right after she just breaks down. She gives her rehearsed lines with tears in her eyes, almost bringing Rikyako to tears off on the side as well, and when Suwawa gives her the hug, she just holds her tight and cries.
This wasn’t like Saitama Day 2 when you could just see the sadness on her face. It felt like she was finally letting go of something, and her emotions were let loose with it. A really powerful moment for me because she has so much pressure and tries so hard to be the best leader that she can, and often times puts up a strong front to lead the rest of the group from. But at the same time, she’s as human as everyone else. Seeing her let go like that honestly made me feel relieved.
Fukuoka Special Intermission
Kanan is literally God. Nothing else needs to be said.
in this unstable world
This is my first time looking at the screen and not at Aikyan herself and damn I’m glad I went to at least one viewing. In terms of stage presence and dance ability she is second to none. It was already an amazing performance to begin with, and I was able to gain a new appreciation for it thanks to some excellent camera work and stage lighting.
Pianoforte Monologue
Everything started fine, but halfway through the mood changed. I think it just wasn’t Rikyako’s day. She wasn’t hitting her notes like she normally does for the song, and I think it started getting to her. She had this very clear dissatisfied and frustrated look on her face, and at times it seemed like she was going to cry. She recovered by the end of the song and ended well, but it was a rough performance to say the least.
HAPPY PARTY TRAIN
When they first came on stage wearing the costumes, everyone in the venue was shouting but we still couldn’t see on camera. Once the lights came on, everyone went crazy. This is a personal favorite song of mine, as it has a lot of meaning to me, and the performance of it this time was actually excellent. MVP goes to Suwawa for actually hitting (most of) her notes. 2L was definitely rough but she’s gotten a lot better since then.
DROPOUT!?
I’ve wanted Saint Snow to do one of their own songs this tour, but after Saitama and Osaka I gave up on that. But at long last, my wish came true. The duo looked really nervous going into it, and even during it at times when the camera closed in on their faces, but they nailed the performance. After this, the theater definitely woke up and was hype as hell for the rest of the live. Hoping to see a different song tomorrow so I can get even more Saint Snow.
WATER BLUE NEW WORLD
This is one of the songs people kept saying was really good in LV, and I can see why. While getting the whole view of the venue is quite nice, this song definitely lends itself more to close camera work. It follows the anime performance much better, and in doing so it brings back a lot of the memories and emotions I had watching episode 12 as it aired. The only thing I missed from the venue is the part in the bridge where on each measure, a ball of light flashes in the center stage that corresponds to one of the girls’ character colors. That was a really nice touch that unfortunately can’t be focused on in LV because of the important of the dance during that segment.
Kiseki Hikaru
If you think the song by itself is good, you absolutely have to watch the performance of it. Because of the OST track that it draws its main melody from, and the context in which it was released, it might feel like a farewell song, but when performed live, that gets turned around completely. Rather than making me want to cry, it gave me hope for the future. For both the franchise and myself.
As the song changes key and reaches its climax, the stage lights all turn on together and get so bright that they almost block your vision of the seiyuu in the center stage. Imagine seeing this image, but head on instead of from the side. It’s meant to resemble the sun rising, and it definitely was the highlight of the live for me.
Encore
They say white people have no rhythm, but that’s a god damn lie. It’s the Japanese that have none. We started doing the Aqours chants in the theater and a group of guys to the right of me start going completely off beat. They weren’t trying to ruin it either; they just had absolutely no sense of rhythm. For the next 5 minutes they keep starting and stopping to join back in but they cannot for the life of them figure it out. Only when the lights flash to the beat in the venue do they discover rhythm and start joining in with the rest of the theater.
Hop Step Wai!
I guess this marks the official retirement of Landing Action Yeah!!. I gave that song massive shit at first because I really didn’t like it, but over time it really grew on me, especially with how we sing it at so many events. Hop Step Wai! is already a pretty good song in my opinion, so I’m looking forward to hearing it again throughout the next year.
Yuuki wa Doko ni? Kimi no Mune ni!
Drama aside, this is probably my top Aqours song. It means so much to me, and being able to not only hear it live, but to sing along so many times over the past month has been an absolute privilege. The kicker, though, was the surprise in the bridge. The last 4 performances have just been the regular full version of the song, but this time, they added in the episode 11 version, too. I actually decided that I wanted to go to 3rd Live after I saw episode 11 and knew that I had to be there for that moment if they ever did it. I’m glad they did. It caught me by surprise, and my emotions just welled up. I had to hold myself back from crying for the rest of the song so I could sing properly.
As a side note, who the fuck does ietaiga to Yuukimi lmao. Grow up.
Closing MC
Another emotional moment. Furirin was in tears during her closing comments. She was crying like a baby, but still was able to walk up and thank every one of her fellow members personally. That meant a lot to me. I’ve always seen Furirin as one of the more detached members, as I never really knew if she was holding something back because she had to be “Ruby” rather than “Furihata Ai”. But this moment told me that just like everyone else, she’s really thankful to be a member of Aqours.
During Rikyako’s comments, she still had this sense of dissatisfaction in her words. At one point, she gave a big sigh. The others quickly joked it off, but I think she wasn’t quite pleased with how today went. As always with her, though, she’ll definitely rebound from this.
Final Thoughts
What a start to the final leg of the tour. It’s been a crazy few weeks for everyone involved, and this is definitely the best way to cap it all off. There were a few hiccups here and there, but overall, it was a great live, filled with both good performances and lots of emotion. Looking forward to tomorrow.

100 Memorable Skating Programs - 51-55
I've been working on this list for the past couple of years. It started out as my top ten favorite programs, but as a fan of over twenty-four years who has seen hundreds of skating programs over the years, ten didn't seem quite enough, so I bumped it to twenty-five. That twenty-five then expanded to fifty, then to a hundred. Um...oops?
Anyway, some rules I kept in mind while making this list:
1) Only senior-level competitive programs from the 1993-1994 season and later are eligible. Yes, there are a few amazing programs from before then that I love as well, but I wanted to stick to the years that I was actively a fan.
2) Each skater only gets mentioned once on the list, unless there's a partner switch involved. (Hey, Aljona!) I could probably fill this list alone with my favorite Wagner/P. Chan/Weaver Poje/Davis White/Asada/Takahashi/Browning/Anissina Peizerat programs, but variety is the spice of life.
3) Choice of music is also not repeated, either! Y'all don't need a list of fifty amazing "Phantom of the Opera" programs, do y'all? ... I didn't think so.
By the way, this list is mostly about the programs themselves, which is why I've tried to note the choreographers whenever possible. If there are any mistakes or you happen know the name of a choreographer I'm missing, I would love to know!
I’ll be posting five a day. Today, we have 51-55!
51. Valentina Marchei/Ondrej Hotarek "Tu Vuo Fa L'Americano" (Massimo Scali) 2018 Europeans - With some pairs, it can sometimes feel like one partner (usually the woman) has to emote enough for the two of them, but not with Valentina and Ondrej! They're both equally expressive, which allows them to skate a fun, comedic program like this one. You don't even have to understand the language for them to put a smile on your face! The part of the footwork when he jumps over her is a definite highlight.
youtube
52. Wakaba Higuchi "Skyfall" (Shae-Lynn Bourne) 2018 Worlds - When a female skater does a James Bond program, they always seem to play more the part of a sexy Bond girl than the title character. In Wakaba's program, it felt more like she acting more like a feminine version of James Bond -- suave, daring, and dangerous -- and it. was. incredible. It is such a huge shame that the Olympic audience didn't get to see this program, because it was seriously the best ladies' program of the season, no contest, but at least she got her redemption at Worlds!
youtube
53. Philippe Candeloro "The Three Musketeers" (Natacha Dabadie) 1998 Olympics - I think it's probably safe to say that Philippe was one of the best actors on ice. While watching this program, you almost forget that he's competing! It's more like he's putting on a show for the audience. The highlight is definitely the sword-fighting/footwork section. Perhaps not the most intricate or the most difficult of footwork sequences, but very, very effective!
youtube
54. Ekaterina Gordeeva/Sergei Grinkov "Moonlight Sonata" (Marina Zueva) 1994 Olympics - I wasn't yet a fan of skating when they competed in the 80s, so I'm glad they came back for these Olympics, giving me a chance to know them before Sergei's untimely death just over a year later. This was such a beautiful and elegant program from one of the most perfectly matched pairs of all time. I also just adore the costumes!
youtube
55. Nelli Zhiganshina/Alexander Gazsi "Two from the Grave" (Ilia Averbukh) 2013 Worlds - Oh my gosh, this program has to be one of the most fun and quirky competitive free dances I've ever seen! Nelli and Alexander are soooo committed to the theme of the dance (zombies, duh), and the choreography is really clever, especially with some of the lifts.

Cookies - part 1
Characters: fem!reader, Joshua, café worker whom reader friends with
Word Count: 1111
Genre: Fluff I guess?
Warning: No warnings
Summary: First meeting with Joshua through an interviewing assignment from your school
Main post
Around 2 months ago you discovered a café so cozy – even more cozy than your bedroom – somewhere in the city. The place brings up the comfort feeling you have been seeking since a very long time. There is no day without visiting and staying in it, believe or not, and it’s near to impossible to believe also that your spot – located in the back of the room near some frames of very beautiful small leaf paintings, with a mini bouquet of lavender in a slim glass on the desk, and a bamboo-based chair with a very soft throw pillow – is always vacant to seat on. On Fridays you usually spend more time than you do on any weekdays, the employees even recognize you and they always bring you your favorites; red velvet latte with a bunch of chocolate chip cookies, they’d give you extra cookies when they sense a bad day happen towards you oops.
“Al, can I interview you for a moment?” Ask you to one of the employees named Aleena – she’s actually 5 years older than you, but she asked you not to call her ‘miss’ since that would make her feel old – when she’s prepping another chocolate cookies for you, even though you already had 7 already.
“What- interview?” She lifts her brows followed with a chuckle. “Yes, I got this assignment from school, to interview someone about jobs and stuff. It’ll be quick I promise!” To shorten the time which you had promised her to, you take out your phone from your shirt pocket and opens the voice recorder app. “Interview him, he’s good at interviews, I’m not. Oh and by the way, the cookies on me, as a very early birthday present.” She tilts her head to point to a black-haired guy who’s holding to seem like a small painting brush with a small canvas on the table.
“Al my birthday is still weeks to go, but thank you very much.” You can’t say no to the cookies, who can though.
Slowly make your way towards him, there’s this feeling in you between awkwardness and eagerness. From his expression, you could tell he’s focusing on the painting – eyebrows slightly furrowed with his tongue peeking at the corner of his lips. Before you could say a word, he notices your presence, standing still about 2 meters away from him, his eyes – his pretty cat eyes – peeks from his white cap. “Hello, is there anything I could help you?” He shoots a very generous and brightest smile you’ve ever seen, his eyes lit up along the smile.
“Oh, yeah uhm, so I got this interview task from my school about jobs,” you know well that you have some difficulties when you’re trying to speak to someone new, not to mention to someone whose gorgeousness is beyond your capability. “Jobs? Is it like a survey?” He lifts one of his eyebrows and his lip corner. “Pretty much like a survey. It’ll be quick I promise.” He put the brush on his hands – it appears that he’s the person who draws every leaf pictures in the café – to the small cup of water beside him and gets himself in position, also tapping the chair next to him to signal you can sit there.
“Alright, first question; what is your name?”
“Joshua, Hong Joshua.”
“Year and place of birth?”
“1995, California.” California…
“Job?”
“Part-time barista in this café, a college student.” That explains the grey hoodie and the white cap he’s wearing.
The interview ran smooth as you hoped but not as you expected. Thankfully there was no noticeable mistakes and some awkward movements, instead it was fun and filled with laughter. “I didn’t know you’re one of the workers here, for how long have you been working here?” He picks up the brush to continue painting his very detailed leaf. “About a month and a half, I guess. It’s funny you didn’t notice me when I always deliver your cookies and your latte to you.” There’s no intimidation tone in his voice but you can feel your cheeks getting red from the embarrassment. How come you didn’t notice him when you have always been there in the same spot over and over again for 2 months? And let’s not forget the fact that you always befriend literally every single employee in that café.
“Wha- Really?” You stare at him blankly for a moment. “I must have did not seen your face, wait have I?” It is the first time you hear him giggling, which makes the blushing on your cheeks even more obvious. “I don’t dare to say you didn’t because you always face up and smile every time you say thank you. I guess you were too focused on your books and papers from the school.” That would explain it all since your teacher really liked to give you numerous assignments, they don’t even bother to acknowledge you have a mountain of books and a full-loaded USB of assignments both in form of essays, or presentations.
“Ah, I guess so…” inhale, exhale. “So you’re the person who painted all of the leaf paintings here?” You watch how his hands very gently and carefully make some strokes on the leaf painting with different shades of green and white, how his heads tilts from side to side and how his tongue peeks out from his mouth. “Yes, I am. Thought it would nice to decorate them here, the owner had approved also.” The owner, you have never met the owner once ever since you became a ‘permanent’ costumer there. “Well- who’s the owner? I’ve never seen him…”
“Even I only met him once, when I applied for the job; he’s a young man, born at the same year as mine, I don’t know his name but they call him Mr. Choi, hope that’d help.” Eyes still focus on the painting, you feel like you don’t want to bother him since you’re very talkative to the person you’ve met – except him, frankly for no exact reason you grow the comfortable feeling between you and Joshua, even though you only met him and knew him from that interview. “I think I should go back to my place, don’t want to disturb you with that painting.” You barely even fully standing up, he already halts you with a word; ‘stop’. Looking back to him it seems the painting has already finished and fully painted. “Just get your cookies here, let’s have a light conversation.”
“Cookies?” He didn’t even bat his eyes when Aleena gave you the cookie – you even forgot you have some cookies.
“Is there a time you don’t have even a cookie on the plate?”

My coloring skills are something I am proud of
I love hoarding coloring and calligraphy pens and pencils but rarely use them
If I wasn’t writing, I would be dancing, but I’m a terrible dancer
My sport is Badminton
But I am currently learning how to Ice Skate because Yuri on Ice
I want to learn how to sew so I can cosplay
I love traveling, I had been to 9 countries including Japan (thankfully)
If I were to live somewhere else aside from Britain and Philippines, I’d choose Japan or Paris.
I actually own a Survey Corp Jacket and Cape which I bought from Japan ON SALE!! :D
My own glasses are modeled after Hanji’s glasses.
I have successfully convinced my group mates to make our project AOT themed last year (And we got a good grade)
My height is only the same as Levi’s (5’3)
But my weight is Annie (54kg) of pure fat.
My favorite LeviHan fics are “License to Science and Kill” by Just-Quintessentially-me and “A Bird Leaves her Cage” by Crazyaniknowit.
I actually memorized Bauklotze (one of the full German songs of AOT) but I can’t reach the pitch
I probably already memorized all the lyrics of the OSTS by heart, kidding! But I did for Jiyuu no Tsubasa, Guren no Yumiya, DOA, Barricades, Reluctant Heroes, and Sasageyo.
I also got to memorize some of Levi’s songs such as Hizamazuke and Pomp and Circumstance
I think I have a “Levi/ Hiroshi Kamiya Detector”. Whenever I watch new anime, I automatically know if he voiced a character even without searching it (I still do for confirmation after and I’m always right).
I’ve been to the Sky Tree exhibit and saw the huge Colossal Titan head.
I have successfully turned my family members into AOT fans (or at least made them watch it)

I cried after having such overwhelming feedback for Stow Away (THANK YOU!!)
I usually splurge on make up and wigs because I really want to cosplay one day (but sadly I’m not confident enough yet)
I only swim free
I only fell in love with one person so far and he reminds me so much of Levi except that he is tall
I named one of my dogs after him thinking I could move on. Both him and my dog are astill so adorable I can’t forget :P
I only tried hard to learn German because my crush last year was half German
People tell me my voice sometimes already sound like Hanji/ Romi Park when I speak Japanese
I’m quite OC with my notes and aesthetics
I take hours making reviewers because I do them in calligraphy to motivate myself
I find it motivating if I listen to Guren no Yumiya while working or studying. I call it my ‘fight song’
I actually bought the 3DMG harness from TaoBao and it took me 1 day to figure it out plus another 3 hours to put it on.
If I was in AOT, I’d already be eaten by a titan while prepping up my gear.
I even bought boots and a yellow blouse so I can look like Hanji whenever I want to.\
Someone called me Sasha while cosing as Hanji
I also have a red scarf for Mikasa
Aside from AOT clothes, I have some that resemble Love Live and Macross Delta costumes, and Yurri Plisetsky’s blue Jacket.
I actually have covers for all my fics incase they need it one day.
I have no Idea how to use Pinterest and Pixiv
I stare at the ceiling for the rest of the night when the fic I’m reading ends in a cliff hanger
I approach and openly converse with people who I spot have AOT merch.
The person who had a crush on me spent money on buying me an expensive ass Hanji acrylic keychain during a con and I still have it but sadly, he was a bit forceful and we didn’t end in good terms.
One of my conditions in my list of “How to know if he is the one I will Marry” is that me and my future husband should cosplay as LeviHan
I am scheduled to cosplay Hanji in a dress this December with a complete AOT squad in casual. (Still prepping my chubby self though)
My favorite anime songs outside of Attack on titan are Anone Ganbare by Lilywhite, Fuyu Ga Kureta Yokan by Bibi, and Axia by Kaname Buccaneer
I love Vocaloid
My favorite Vocaloid song is Tell Your World by Miku Hatsune
I can cut my own hair after styling so many wigs
I actually earn my wants by making cosplay props for other cosplayers as a sideline when I have spare time.
I want to become a Cardio Surgeon because I can’t fix my own heart so I will just fix others
I still have almost 10 years of studying ahead of me because of Med School
I am very OC about my blog theme
One thing I am very proud of from my blog is my Masterlist because its fucking amazing in my POV
I have Wattpad but I only use it to draft and use AO3 and tumblr to post fics instead.
I do not like flowers, I wouldn’t accept it if someone gave me a boquet.
I only drink tea if it has milk with it and coffee only if it is brewed and not instant.
My tumblr username or URL only came from the ‘suggestions’ because I ran out of ideas XD
I think red eyes are cool, I even own red contact lenses myself.
I once had a dream where there were people I didn’t know and they oddly said goodbye to me before I woke up. I will never forget about it, they broke the fourth wall or smth.
My gender is ‘Hanji’ or indefinite
My next favorite character after Hanji and Levi is Nanaba then my least favorite character is Nile (still thinks he’s a cowardly douche)
I would like to learn how to ride horses fast because of AOT
My favorite place in the world is Baguio Philippines because its cold, and it reminds me of AOT (big ass trees, horses, and looks walled because of mountains)
Some cons I’m dying to attend are those that are in Japan and Singapore.
I love cons in the Philippines, people are so welcoming and warm.
I would gladly have a bird nose if I could XD
send an ask/anon here x.

Well lookie here, I'm actually doing a tag game (nobody freak out)! The first one in awhile. Thanks for the tag @fatesofstarlight 😊 (I just realized this was sitting in my drafts and never posted...oops!)
-Jane Austen: Who was your first love? There was a guy I dated my last year and half of high school and beyond that I thought I loved. You know how those young romances go. But now that I look back on it, I think I was more in love with being in a relationship and not so much him. So I'm still waiting for that once in a lifetime love ❤️.
-Ray Bradbury: What is your favorite book? In all honesty, I don't know if I do have a favorite book (which is very surprising for an avid reader like me). I do have a favorite genre though - anything that has a little mystery, action, and romance is right up my alley, so you'll often find me reading mystery/spy books. However, I do have a few classics that I really enjoy too - any Jane Austen (I own the hardback versions of all her books), Tale of Two Cities, and Little Women. (But seriously, it is my dream to own a Beauty and the Beast library one day, and I'm off to great start 🤓) Oh and I can't forget Nancy Drew - those books were basically all I read over and over again when I was younger. It's because of those books that I fell in love with mysteries and puzzles and all that fun stuff
-Charles Darwin: What is your favorite animal? Is this even a question? It's cats of course!
-Alice Walker: What is your favorite color? Purple or Pink or Grey (It’s weird, I know)
-Kurt Vonnegut: What is your favorite breakfast cereal? WAFFLE CRISP! Or anything with chocolate 😍
-J.D. Salinger: What was your favorite subject in school? Okay, this isn't fair - I'm an all around nerd and lover of school (maybe that's why I'm still in it). I was one of those students that really enjoyed everything I took. And once I left school for for college I took even more interesting classes - human osteology, criminal deviance, deviant behavior, forensic classes, and I could go on and on (but I won't). ALTHOUGH, if I hadn't to pick just one subject, that would HAVE to be Physics. I fell in love with it my junior year of high school, the only girl and only junior in a senior level AP Physics class - those two things meant I was the brunt of any and all jokes from those older so called men, but I didn't let it deter me. It was such a fun and interesting class - making machines, programming robots, heck, even the problem solving was fun. And ever since that class my junior year, physics has always been my favorite (to me, the things I learned are like solving a mystery in its own sense, figuring out what to put together to solve the problem at hand) - okay, I've rambled enough. Needless to say, physics has always been my favorite class I've taken.
-J.K. Rowling: What is your favorite magical creature? I don't have one - I've never really gotten into magical creatures
-Neil Gaiman: What religion are you? Christian
-Oscar Wilde: What is your vice? Self-indulgence (stealing this one from Maggie because it's what I do too)
-Julia Child: What is the best meal you’ve ever eaten? Hmmm, I love food, like more than anything, so I've had a lot of super fantastic meals over the years. But if I had to pick just one, it was this garlic pasta dish from a small, family owned Italian restaurant in Chicago (but I can't remember the name). It was to die for.
-Stephen King: What was your last Halloween costume? I haven't dressed up in years, but I think the last costume I wore was a modern day Cinderella costume. My friends and I dressed up as the Disney Princesses our senior year of college (the first time around for me 😂). I had the tiara, the hair, the blue dress, and even sparkly heels 😂😂
-Harper Lee: Who was your childhood best friend? A girl that I met when I was two. Our mothers made us friends and then we went to the same elementary school, so we always considered each other best friends. But then come junior high, she ditched me the first day - I was more interested in school and math and science competitions, while she was more into boys and being popular. Looking back I realize she always used me for her own benefit.
-Brothers Grimm: What is your favorite fairytale? Rapunzel, through and through
-F. Scott Fitzgerald: What is the best party you ever attended? I'm not really a party type girl - I'm more the type that sits at a bar or table drinking whiskey and judging everyone around me... 😳 But seriously, I rarely dance and I don't like making a fool of myself, so I normally slink back into the background at any party I'm at.
-George R. R. Martin: Summer or winter? Winter, between those two, but I'm really a Fall girl.
-Mark Twain: What was your favorite thing to do as a kid? Read And solve logic problems :-)
-Edgar Allan Poe: What scares you the most? Loneliness or not succeeding like I want to
-Herman Melville: Beach or mountains? Mountains - some of my favorite memories were made in the mountains :-)
-Roald Dahl: What is your favorite candy? Anything chocolate - the more chocolate, the better
-Jack Kerouac: Where do you want to travel? Europe, specifically France 😍
I tag @southernbookgirl, @livingwithashipname, and anyone else who wants to do it!

Every year, when autumn rolls around, I tell myself, I’m going to participate in Inktober or NaNoWriMo, and every year, I either forget or I try and fail. “Well, this year is going to be different!” I proclaimed. Then I blinked, and it was October 7th, and I’d forgotten. Oops.
But you know the old expression: Better late than never. My friend, Ally (@Ally_Santra on Twitter), started doing a pinup Inktober prompt list, which I found very interesting. So, I dove in and double-timed it to catch up, and in the end, for the first time ever, I completed it. I can’t tell you how uplifting that was in a time when I really needed a win.
In this post, I’ve included every black-and-white drawing I did throughout the month, but my favorites I’ve colored and added a few words about what I like and more importantly, what it has taught me about myself and my work.
At the beginning, I was posting three drawings per day to catch up, and I actually liked two out of every three. Not bad, really. And it’s not that I hated the others; I just didn’t feel they were nearly as good. I used all five of my series’ recurring female characters as the models, and while I love all of my girls, I think my favorites are Ash and Maren. Their drawings usually turned out to be the best ones I created for this month.
“Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world…”
Alright, let’s get this one out of the way first. You all know how much I love Casablanca, so for the group Halloween costume this year, I decided to take inspiration from there. First off, yes, it’s not a pinup. Sorry, not sorry. My challenge to myself was to actually make a scene without any dialogue, and I’m pleased with what I accomplished. There’s tons of tension everywhere. But my favorite part is Mike as Sam. His design turned out better than I could have hoped. It’s a difficult pose, and it was going to be an excellent test of my skills. I had so much fun with this drawing.
Okay, now, on to the actual pinup drawings, starting with Stefanie, Esmerelda, and Caroline.
“Witchy woman. See how high she flies.”
First drawing of the month, and I felt great about it; one of my best drawings of Stefanie. Until this one.
Raggedy Ann, you need a longer skirt, I guess?
I’m sure a good chunk of these don’t technically classify as “pinup”, but who’s counting anyway? I really tried to get good pinup poses when I could. I think this one was a homerun. Or at least a triple followed by an RBI.
“Gotta lose your mind in Detroit rock city.”
I’m a KISS fan, I’ll admit it. They’re a legendary spectacle, and I wanted to have some fun with the prompt.
“Hey, good lookin’. Whatcha got cookin’?”
Esmerelda, our newest character, kind of got the short end of the stick. But she started off well. I found out that I had a hard time drawing butts, apparently.
Here’s Caroline showing off that I still cannot draw posteriors. Wonderful. On the other hand, here’s Caroline looking delightfully literary…sort of.
To be, or not to be, etc. etc.
When your writing skill is on par with that of a beagle…
I absolutely love this drawing. With my Inktober drawings, it was either feast or “I guess I could eat”. I either loved it or it was just passable. Unless it was one of these two golden girls: Ash and Maren. I loved just about every drawing I did of them. I’m going to start with Maren first.
Music makes me happy.
There is nothing here I don’t love. Everything just kinda clicked. Everything looks good. It all works. I was blown away.
“Hey! Listen!”
Another one rocking on all cylinders. I have a few girls who have interesting hair styles; interesting in that they look great from one side and weird from another. Maren is one of those girls. Stefanie is the other. Maren looks excellent from her right side. Not so much from the left. So, I wanted to work on that. For reference, here’s her from the right.
See? Looks so great. That’s why I focused on the left side. I want to be able to get her into shots from all angles, along with other characters, and there’s only one way to get that down: Practice.
Good morning!
Ash, on the other hand, has no problems like that. She’s the first girl I drew and has changed relatively little over the course of the series. I really think the only major change to her look is her eyes, which have elongated over the past couple of years as I figured out my drawing style, something I probably should have done before starting a comic, but whatever; that’s neither here nor there. Anyway, I love this drawing for the pose. It just looks like it works, and there’s such a lovely little moment there. I love the joy in her face, the optimism, because that’s who she is.
Fall is upon us.
I could absolutely envision this before I drew it, and I’m gobsmacked that it actually came out the way I imagined it. Another happy stretch for Ash. She’s been a great study in body language.
Heartbreaker? Hardly.
This one was another surprise favorite. The response on this one was higher than I expected. Don’t get me wrong: I love the hell out of this drawing. I just was surprised it got as much love from y’all as it did. I almost think this one shows more about my growth as an artist than any others. It all just looks…right.
How dry I am…not.
“My hair! They shot my hair!”
These were fun ones. And I think that’s the other side of Inktober: Enjoying your art. If it’s not enjoyable, what the hell’s the point? We create because, well, we must. There’s no other way to describe it. We create because if we don’t, we’ll probably explode. The energy needs an escape, and this is our steam release valve.
Opposing forces.
I’ll leave you with this one. Not the strongest of the group, but it’s a fun one. There’s two sides to every coin. Doesn’t take a lot to flip it.
So, what has Inktober taught me about myself? A good deal, really. September and October have been trying months. Really, 2018 in general has been difficult. With so much going on, Inktober was, first and foremost, a much-needed lift, a wonderful release. It was incredible having both the time and energy to be able to pour into such an exercise. Beyond that, it showed me how much I’ve grown as an artist. Inktober made me take some more risks than I usually do in my regular comics. For the most part, I feel I was successful, and really, I felt successful in just completing this month-long challenge. It was an enormous boon I desperately needed. This is something I can do pretty well, and it’s something that I can enjoy at the same time. I can’t stress enough how important such a thing is to have in your life. It will help propel me forward for the challenges which still lay ahead.

'Dancing With the Stars' Biggest Ballroom Bombshells: Engagements, Baby Announcements, Feuds and More!
brightcove
Dancing With the Stars kicks off its 24th season on Monday, March 20.
Ahead of the premiere, airing at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, ET's breaking down the dance competition's most memorable moments of all time.
From major missteps to behind-the-scenes drama, here's 11 of our favorite bombshells from DWTS history.
1. Lochtegate continues.
Fresh off his gold medal-winning victory for Team USA during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and in the middle of a major controversy due to his false report of being robbed at gunpoint following the games, the swimmer traded in his Speedo for sparkly ballroom costumes in hopes of restoring his image during the show's most recent 23rd season.
But during week one, two protesters stormed the stage while he and Cheryl Burke were performing, proving Lochtegate was far from over. Sam Sotoodeh and Barzeen Soroudi were wearing "anti-Lochte" T-shirts and did not have tickets to the ABC taping when they were booked for trespassing. Regardless, Lochte and Burke did OK in the competition, finishing in seventh place.
2. Kelly Monaco's wardrobe malfunction.
Despite almost losing her top while dancing samba with Alec Mazo during week four of DWTS' first season, the General Hospital star and her partner walked away with the first-ever mirror ball trophy.
3. Marie Osmond faints awaiting the judges' critiques.
Paired with Jonathan Roberts, the singer placed third on the fifth season of DWTS. Although her and Roberts' dances were entertaining and fun week after week, it's hard not to forget about her major onstage oops. During the fifth week of the competition, she fainted on live TV as the judges were giving her feedback.
4. Swine flu fiasco.
Instagram
Remember in 2009 when a swine flu outbreak was all over the news? Well, the H1N1 virus didn't escape the ballroom. During season nine of DWTS, Derek Hough was reportedly the first to come down with the infection. It wasn't long before it was passed on to others, including fellow dancers Mark Ballas and Lacey Schwimmer.
5. Master P stepping in for Romeo Miller last minute.
Romeo was originally supposed to show off his dance skills during the show's second season, but had to withdraw from the competition when he injured himself while playing basketball just a few weeks ahead of the premiere. His dad, hip-hop legend Master P, stepped up to the plate last minute, but was harshly dubbed one of the worst contestants ever.
"My dad actually saved the day," Romeo later told the New York Daily News. "He's like, 'Look, I'll do this for you. When does the show start?' I'm like, 'Tomorrow.'"
Flash forward to season 12, and Romeo got a chance to compete in the ballroom with pro Chelsie Hightower, whom he kissed on the lips following a romantic waltz to "My Heart Will Go On."
"I was in character," Romeo said at the time. "I was feeling like Jack from Titanic."
6. Judge Bruno Tonioli taking his comments too far.
During season 11, singer Michael Bolton and his partner, Chelsie Hightower, performed a jive to Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog," poking fun at being in the doghouse for their low scores from the previous week.
"It was a doggie mess of a Jive," Tonioli, who gave the pair a score of 3 out of 10, said. "You did it all very, very, very badly. I think this is probably the worst Jive in 11 seasons."
Ouch!
Following his elimination, Bolton later told Good Morning America he was "disappointed with Bruno."
"To me, he let everybody down," he said. "My mom was there, she's 90, she flew down to see the show, and I just didn't expect that level of disrespect from him."
7. Kim Kardashian admitting she has trouble shaking her butt (and proving it on the show).
She may be known for showing off her voluptuous curves in public, but the reality star revealed she doesn't exactly know how to shake her booty during the show's seventh season.
"Everyone's gonna expect this, like, sexy thing and I'm really not," she confessed during a pre-taped interview package with pro partner Mark Ballas. "My biggest challenge with the mambo is just shaking my butt. Everyone thinks I know how and I just really don't. I think I need, like, Booty 101."
Unfortunately, her lack of skills resulted in her being the third contestant to be eliminated.
8. Cheryl Burke spilling ALL the tea.
Last April, the pro dancer had no problem dishing secrets about her fellow dancers and partners during an appearance on the Allegedly With Theo Von & Matthew Cole podcast.
First, she slammed her season four partner, Ian Ziering, whom she called her "least favorite" contestant to be paired with ever. "[Working with him] made me want to slit my wrists," she exclaimed.
Though she later apologized, saying her words were "out of line," the rest of the interview was equally juicy, opening up about behind-the-scenes hookups.
"I think we all dated each other at one point," she admitted about the dancing pros on the show. "All of us dancers, we've known each other -- [Maksim Chmerkovskiy], we've known each other since I was 12 and he was, like, maybe 15, I think he is three years older than me -- so ya know, things happen."
"He was a good kisser," she said about Chmerkovskiy, who is now engaged to and has a baby with fellow DWTS pro Peta Murgatroyd. "Maks is a good kisser."
9. Sasha Farber proposes to Emma Slater on live TV.
During the competition show's 23rd season, fans were in for a sweet surprise when Farber got down on one knee and asked his longtime girlfriend to marry him. The pair performed a group number together, which was followed by a commercial break. When the live show returned, host Tom Bergeron joined the couple onstage.
"First of all, you guys have great chemistry," he said. "And Sasha, I've always thought you had the potential to actually host. So I'm going to give the show over to you."
"I've been meaning to do this for such a long time," Farber said to Slater, as he pulled out a ring. "I love you so, so much."
10. Nick Carter confirms his wife is pregnant and learns the sex of their baby during DWTS.
Back in November 2015, rumors were swirling that the Backstreet Boys heartthrob and his wife, Lauren, were expecting their first child together. Not only did he confirm the news was true, but he also got emotional when he discovered the baby's gender on live TV.
After performing a stunning contemporary number to "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" with Sharna Burgess, his wife joined him backstage for a mini reveal party with co-host Erin Andrews. When the two opened a gift-wrapped box, blue balloons floated into the air -- revealing their first child was a boy! Since Odin's arrival last April, the two haven't been able to stop gushing over their little bundle of joy.
11. Julianne Hough wearing barely nothing while dancing with… her brother?
Yeah, that happened! The DWTS pro-turned-judge was nearly nude, rocking a sheer bodysuit with red embellishments strategically placed over her private areas, for an upbeat performance to One Republic's "Love Runs Out." Hough was joined by all of the season 19 male pros for the steamy piece, including her sibling, Derek Hough.
