Soooo, it's been a while since I updated masks wasn't it? Yeah it was but I have good news! Finals are over and I'm ready to start writing again!

Lies, it would hurt a lot. Quackity could reward good behavior but that didn’t mean it wouldn’t hurt and Dream just didn’t want it to hurt at all. Please, it already hurts enough. He didn’t know what sir did to make him feel like this but he hated it. He couldn’t stop shaking and burning and freezing and adding the pain from sir’s tool into the mix was- no, no, no, no he can’t do that! Sam said he wouldn’t have to do that again! That he’s- that he’s safe! So, why was sir here? Did Sam call him? Did he make the warden mad? But he tried so hard to be good! He was good! He was on his best behavior! He didn’t deserve this! 

Desperately he shook his head, denying sir’s request without even thinking about the consequences. Sir hated it when he was disobedient. 

“No?! Did you fucking forget who’s in charge here?!”

“Sorry, ‘m sorry.”

Dream sobbed trying to shy even further away from the other male’s anger. Unsurprisingly it was in vain. 

“Do I have to call the warden to drag you out? Because I will and I bet he would not be very happy to see you misbehaving.”

The blonde's heart leaped into his throat upon the mention of the warden. He didn't want to make the warden mad! Warden always takes away his food when he misbehaves and there is no occasional mercy in the form of a healing potion when he misbehaves … and he was doing so good! He was on his best behavior, he couldn't ruin it! He was bound to ruin it eventually, he always did. He wasn't able to do good no matter how hard sir and the warden tried to beat it out of him, the misbehavior seemed to be forged into his very being. Not even sir's knives were able to cut it out. 

“No, no please, not the- not the warden, please sir.”

The words come out as nothing more than a pathetic whimper but that was okay, sir had already seen him at his lowest. A few months ago Dream'd fought the tears that gathered in the corners of his eyes but now he let them roll down his cheeks freely. Sir might mock him for it but that'd be nothing … Besides, sir seemed to be growing tired of it. It probably wasn't so much fun when Dream didn't even try to hide the tears anymore … 

“See? I knew you had some brain left in that pretty head of yours. Now be good and come here.”

    It was perfect. You didn't even believe perfection was real like this. Every morning you and him walked or met up at the school and late at night you two would walk to eachother's house ending with a good bye kiss. So many girls were unbelievably jealous of you. You can't blame them, you would be a bit upset to know that you can't be with him.

    Well, that's at least what you thought.

    "Hey angel, how are you?" Oikawa asked with a sly smile.

    "Oh, I'm good, you?" You replied.

    "Wonderful now that you ask." He said taking your hand and walking to your next class. It was the last class if the day and you couldn't wait. Oikawa had practice after school and you always watched him to support him. Even his teammates were a bit envious to have such a pretty girl cheer someone on. Yet again, this was kinda common for him.

    You seemingly ran out of the class room. You wanted to see him as fast as you could. Actually, you got there before him. That's fine, you could wait a bit. Nothing wrong with that. You started talking to his teammates after a bit.

    He must have just gone to the bathroom and is running late, right? You thought. He ran into the room the second you finished that thought.

    "Ya-ho! Sorry I'm late!" He smiled waving his hand. You ran up to him hugging him.

    "Hey! I misses you! Where were you?" You asked. "Were you in the bathroom?" He looked at you for a second in surprise, more like he realized something and than nodded his head. He kissed your forehead while rubbing you back, leaving to go practice.

    When practice had ended he started to walk home with you. That slight bit of hesitation from before bothered you.

    "Hey Oikawa." He looked at you.

    "Earlier, you looked a bit shocked. Are you ok? Did something happen that you didn't want to tell me?" The same look of nervousness came upon his face.

    "Oh, that! Haha, that's nothing, I only remembered a project I need to do or it will be handed in late." He laughed slightly at himself. It wasn't that much of a problem, and you have felt like that sometimes so it wasn't uncommon. You laughed back at this.

    "Alrightly, just remember to do it all right? Don't want you getting a bad grade and than losing your ablitly to be in volleyball club." He held your hand and continued to walk you back to your place.

    But yet, it didn't seem like it was something like that he was worried about. Because this kept happening, every day he would be late to practice. Even on days he didn't have it, he wouldn't be there to pick you up on time. The worst part is when he was a no show, you know you saw him early in the day so where was he? It started to annoy you and the rest of the volleyball club.

    Today, you had enough of it. You choice to not even go to his practice and just search for him. You asked his teammates to call you if they see him. Walking around the school was usually boring, today however, you were on a mission. To find how or why Oikawa was disappearing so much. You had a looking feeling of what it could be, but you pushed it away from you in hopes he would never do that. I mean, you were in love, he wouldn't cheat on you, right? That is the last thing you think before finding him.

    Well, it's just as you thought. He was cheating. It was a girl, he hand on his chest, kissing him with passion you thought you could never give. You were speechless. You didn't want to interrupt such a "loving and caring moment". That was it for you two. He wasn't going to be the man you want to be with for the rest of your life. You thought yet again, but, wasn't it dumb to think that in the first place? You were just teens dating, of course he wouldn't want to stay committed.

    You didn't even cry, you just wanted to go home. Maybe deep down inside something wanted you to feel something else. Anger, sadness, maybe you wanted to just ask him why he would ever choose someone over a person that already is willing to do anything for you. But you did none of that. You just sat, sat and waited for him.

    "You ready to go home?" He chuckled.

    "I want to talk." You looked at the ground and spoke in only a stern and demanding voice.

    "You know, I was wondering where you were going these past few days. Why you didn't show up for a bit, being late, or just not even showing your face after school. I started thinking that you might have been hurt or worse. Here I come to see that I was right about you hiding something, you were cheating. Well, if you want her over me, than I guess we're done, I wish you luck and hopes that she treats you better than I ever did or could have." You stood up look at his face for the last part.

    "N-no promise me, I didn't mean to-, i-it, it wasn't my fault she did that to me and I just- it's not what it looks like, it wasn-" you cut him off.

    "If it wasn't your fault than why? Why were you late everyday? Why did you not even show up? Why didn't you think about me? I don't think you care for me anymore. I hope this is one of the few more times we have the same things about something. Because I don't care about you either." You grabbed your things and left.

    You walked home alone that night. And every night after that. You had just wished that he was still there. No, he wasn't. He never will be again. But he found someone he liked more. You found out you don't need him anymore. It was perfect, right?

So. “An Innocent Sin” is a dumpster fire unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I don’t remember why I decided to read it. maybe I was crazy. Either way... I read it. It soon started to touch upon (very very outlandish) sexual abuse which I thought was interesting. (the angst, not so much some of the wack circumstances surrounding it)

ANYWAY. at some point... we have a flashback. And not just that. It has a gay character.

And it turns rly gay. which mind you, is still in a het smut manwha (that has a “gay” side couple, but still!)

And it destroyed me.

For those who want to read it because I genuinely think the flashback is a decent bit, it’s all the bonus chapters between chapter 77 and 78 I think. There’s a part before that too, but idk where exactly anymore. (It’s on lezhin! or your platform of choosing)

Ok so I spent at least three hours finishing all of Ouran Highschool Host Club and boy was that a ride. so I was about to reply to your latest reply to me (this sounds weird) but emergency happen in here good thing no one get hurt. So I was about to reply as I said around 10 pm here after I finish my mods cuz that would be monday morning to you and that is monday evening in here. (gotta make sure I don't send ask around 3 am lol) so a fire broke out in here right across from my house, I'm ready to pack everything up good thing it didn't reach our house. My neighbors are literally yelling to turn the breakers off so the fire won't travel from the wires to our houses causing for us to have no electricity. I called my father cuz I'm panicking also cuz the heat from the fire is already reaching me (I'm inside the house, I don't want to disturb their teamwork to get water) after I told my father about the fire he straight up pull the breaker down then ask my sister for a bucket then run outside to help. The best thing in our neighborhood is that the males in here is always ready to help if that kind of emergency happens.

WE CALL THE FIRE FIGHTER AND THEY'RE LATE TO THE SCENE, THE FIRE IS ALMOST OUT WHEN THEY SHOW UP (KUDOS TO THE MALES IN HERE, ALSO SOME OF THEM ARE DRUNK BUT THEN RUN TO HELP). They kinda need to cut the power source to make sure (I could endure no electricity but I can't endure no house). The electricity is back hence I'm doing this its night in there right hope it's not midnight..

Oh wait, we used to have that too in highschool! One break between first and second period and lunch break before the third class, but the 15 min break? Sjsksj, yall are amazing, I love it. SoCal is similar where we see the temperature drop under 60°F and we shivering our asses off. Coldest it got in my hometown (i live in a desert) was like 15°F,, I wanted to die lmao.

You sat in your living room with your bestfriend Richie. He was babbling on about some stupid fight he got into with some dude at the arcade the other day who was from the town over. Your focus was more on to the t.v. show playing in front of you, seeing as Richie gets mouthy with everybody and this is not an uncommon occurrence. But when Richie started snapping his fingers in your face your attention was immediately brought to him. 

“Are you even listening to me (Y\N)” You turn off the t.v. and turn to the trashmouth. “Sorry Rich” He laughs and continues his story. Your mind gets distracted again, this time by Richie’s leisurely appearance on your couch. His sweatpants hanging low off his hips showing off the band of his underwear, no shirt hanging from his shoulders. His beautiful dark brown curls all messy from waking up only about an hour ago, no glasses yet. The gorgeous sight,to say the least, was something you wouldn’t mind seeing every morning. You were pulled back into reality by the words “Just pretend to be my date” that had so happen to fall out of Richie’s mouth. Shocked, your eyes widened.

“Excuse you” 

“Oh come one (Y\N) it will be fun. All we have to do is show up for like ten minutes, I’ll flaunt you around a bit and we can be on our way.” You began to grow nervous. To say that you had a crush on Richie would be an understatement. You had only told your other bestfriend Ben Hanscom, but no doubt the other losers knew about it by now. Hell, you wouldn’t be surprised if even Richie himself knew. Thinking about what he had just said made you snap at him.

“I’m not some piece of meat to be flaunted around Richie!” 

“Right sorry, no not at all, but please please (Y\N). You don’t have to wear anything fancy, its just crashing some stupid highschool dance.” You looked into Richie’s hopeful eyes and caved in. Damn were you a sucker for those eyes.

“Fine.” You let out a sigh. Richie jumped out of his seat hugging you. 

“Thank you so much!” You pushed him off of you, the sudden gesture startling you. 

“On one condition-” You raised an eyebrow and held up your index finger.

“Ok what” 

“You let me pick what you wear” The trashmouth houghed and rolled his eyes, but to hell if you weren’t gonna have your fun with this too. 

“Fine ok you can pick out my clothes” You smile satisfied as Richie laughs at your childish grin thinking to himself ‘That smile fucking kills me. Damn Tozier you are so fricken whipped.’ Truth be told the boy was head over heals for his bestfriend, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do to see that amazing smile that sends an unshakable feeling of happiness from the pit of his stomach, across her face.

   It was the day of the dance and you were just about to go shopping to find Richie’s outfit, when the phone rang. You heard your mom answer it so you continued to get clothes for the day. That was quickly interrupted by your mom yelling up to you 

“Honey, its for you!” You quickly walk over to the phone in your room. 

“Hello?” You hold the phone against your shoulder with the side of your face,

“How’s it going beautiful?” Your girlfriends voice graced your ears  as you were looking for a nice sweater to wear. 

“Just looking for something to wear. what about you sweets?” A few months ago you were starting to feel lonely and hopeless about ever being with Richie. That’s when Elaine, more known as Lainey, came into the picture. You met at a dinner and she asked if she could buy you a shake. Why the hell not right? A pretty girl wants to buy you a drink, you flattered. You see you weren’t really sure if you were bisexual or not, but it was something you had seriously questioned on numerous occasions so it couldn’t hurt to figure it out. You still weren’t quite sure and you didn’t know if it was because you just weren’t or because you were to in love with Richie to feel that way about Lainey. Either way you knew you had to break it off with her and probably soon, she was a nice girl and you didn’t want to end up leading her on. 

“Nothing I’m super bored and was wondering if you wanted to hang out today.” 

“Ya sure I was just gonna go shopping.”

“Oh cool I’ll meet you where?”

“Why don’t you just pick me up.” 

“Ok I’ll see ya later” You said bye and hung up the phone. You already had in mind what you wanted to get Richie and you thought it would be fairly easy to find. When you were finished getting dressed you ran down stairs and put on your Doc Martins then headed out side, Lainey’s car was right where it usually was.

    When you got home you fell onto the couch letting out a huge sigh. The shopping part of the trip was successful, You got exactly what you needed. Everything else went down hill. When you had gotten to the store and Lainey had asked what you were here for you had totally blanked on the fact that you told her absolutely nothing about the deal with Richie. You weren’t sure what her reaction would be, but you had it would be a good one. It wasn’t. She ended up yelling at you, saying that it was cheating and that you couldn’t go. You being the stubborn ass that hated being told what to do, told her that, that was bullshit and you were going anyway. She didn’t like that very much. So she decided to walk out shouting “Don’t even think about fucking calling me!” and drove away leaving you to walk home. After a few minutes you heard Richie come in. 

“What’s up hot stuff?” You simply through the bag of clothes at him.

“Shopping go well?” You huffed

“I’m gonna take that as a no.” Richie headed to the bathroom to change. The subject was thankfully avoided when Richie shouted for the bathroom right across from where you lay on the couch. 

“Are these girls jeans!?” Your mind shifted from the happenings at the mall and you burst out laughing. He walked out grabbing at his crotch 

“My wang can’t fucking breathe in these damn jeans (Y\N) my balls feel like they are being shoved back up!!” You fell of the couch laughing. Once you compose yourself you look up at Richie standing there. No shirt, just like this morning, the jeans were unbuttoned and unzipped, the sight was nothing short of amazing. You couldn’t help but bite your lip, your cheeks turning pink.

“Enjoying the view sexy?” You snap your eyes to the floor. 

“In your dreams Tozier” 

“Every night baby. Now come help me take these off” You gulped ‘Oh if only Richie’ You thought to your self and then proceeded to mentally slap yourself for the thought. You heard a chuckle escape from his lips ‘Oh shit can he tell how nervous I am’ You were usually calm and witty, like Richie, but just the way he looked had you all flustered. When you gut the jeans off you had immediately look away afraid of what your mind would do.

“There is a large size in the bag just incase these didn’t fit, but I would put the shirt on first so its easier to tuck in.” You told him folding the jeans and putting them on the dinning room table. After a minute Richie came out (of the closet ;) ;) ) and found you not in the living room. He ventured through the open threshold of the living room into the dining room which lead to the kitchen where he had found you. You turned around from the window to find a very handsome looking Richie dressed in a black button down tucked into a pair of black tight fitting women’s jeans, which he looked rather nice in.

“Well look at you dapper Dan.” You say walking up to him, looking him up and down. He laughed at you remark. 

“These fit much better, but my balls and dick will still be screaming by the end of tonight.

“Come on lets go watch a movie or two before we go.” He put an arm around you leading you to the living room. 

“Or we could do other things.” Richie hints at being the trashmouth that he is. You roll your eyes and pick out a movie.

Halfway through the second movie you decide to get up and get changed. You walk upstairs and down the hall to your room. You turned on a cd to listen to while getting dressed. You put on something kinda fancy, but not to fancy that you wouldn’t wear it causally. You had already put on some make up this morning but you decided to touch it up a bit and put on some lipstick. You walked down stairs and Richie’s eyes were glued to your presence. 

“Well damn (Y\N\N) I think my jeans are getting tight.” You slap him upside the head. 

“Quit being such a perv Tozier.” 

He rubs the back of his head laughing. As you were putting on your shoes Richie couldn’t take his eyes off you. He truly thought you looked breathtaking, and he was kicking himself that this wasn’t a real date. ‘If only’ he thought.

     When you got to the dance you just about snuck in without being caught. The large gymnasium was filled with teenagers, some bored sitting at their table, but there was a lot of kids who looked like they were having fun. You were walking around aimlessly till Richie found who he was looking for. 

“Well looked who actually showed up.” 

Richie introduced you to the guy he fought with at the arcade, apparently about whether or not he could get a girl. The boy who appeared with blonde hair and grey eyes look at you and said

“Blink twice if he is holding you hostage.“

You just laughed, not being very good at social situations. 

“I assure you she is here at her own free will. I mean who could resist this.” Richie then put an arm your waist and rested his hand on your hip. You felt a slight blush creep up leaving a pink tint to your cheeks, one of which you prayed to God Richie didn’t see. 

You spent the next twenty minutes or so conversing with that dude and his friends none of which you bother to remember the names of, mostly because you were barely even involved in the conversation much to you liking seeing as your social anxiety never takes a fucking rest.

“I’m gonna get a drink, (Y\N) do you want anything?” Richie turned to you and asked. You shook your head no and continued to play with your bracelet you always wear. Richie saw the nervous tick that he had noticed on multiple occasions that you do in social situations like this. He put his hand on your shoulder rubbing his thumb against it, and when you looked back up at him, he gave you a little smile which you returned. You look back to your hand fidgeting with your bracelet. When you looked back over to Richie he was so obviously flirting with some redhead. Your hand went to your hair as you tucked a piece behind your ear. You’ve always wanted to e a redhead. You smiled at the thought of your friend Bev and her beautiful fiery red hair. You wondered for moment if Richie would like you better with red hair. A frown adorned your face as you shake away the thought. ‘Its obvious Richie doesn’t like you and your hair color isn’t and shouldn’t change that (Y\N)’ You scolded yourself internally. Soon Richie came back to the table with his drink and a smirk. You shook your head and shot him a disapproving glare which he returned with a smile.

    A slow song to which you did not know the name of was now playing through out the gymnasium. Richie looked over to you, a gleam of what seemed like hopefulness in his eye and asked,

“Do you want to dance?”

You were shocked at first, but obliged none the less. He led you to the dancefloor with a hand at the small of your back, sending shivers up your spine. You made your way to the middle of the dance floor, Richie placed his hands on your hips and your arms rested around his neck. It was nice, for a minute it had felt like you and Richie were the only people there, just talking and laughing a bit. But the boy got self conscious about his strong feeling for the girl he had known for so many years. His mind was so insistent that she would never have feeling for him, that she could do so much better than his sorry ass, never mind the fact that she now had a girlfriend that he has yet to meet. So as a defense, trying so desperately hard to hide his feeling, Richie started checking out other girls. You had noticed the freckled boy suddenly became distracted and only half interested in your conversation. You followed his eyes to the girl in a skin tight dress dancing with some douchey looking guy wearing a letterman jacket. You scoffed, fed up with Richie’s bullshit. You had, had enough and wanted to go home. Involuntarily without any permission from your brain whatsoever, before you even knew you were talking, the sentence “I shouldn’t be in love with you.” had left your mouth with a sour attitude. Richie’s whole body froze when he heard those words. His eyes snapped back to yours in shock. 

“What?” 

Your eyes widened and body tensed as well. You quickly retracted your arms from around Richie’s neck and practically ran out of the school, Richie hot on your trail. When you had gotten outside you were relived to feel the fresh air fill your lungs. The glasses clad boy grabbed your forearm once he caught up. For a person with much shorter legs you could walk pretty fast. Once you turned around to look at Richie you instantly felt suffocated. At that moment your anxiety was on overload and just wished you had never come. 

“Why do you have to be such a dick Richie? You asked me to be your date, albeit pretend date, but that doesn’t change the fact that all you have been doing is flirting and looking at other girls!” You yelled. You heaved out desperate and angry breaths and when Richie just stood there saying nothing you continued to rant.

  “You are the only boy I’ve been able to think about since we were fucking twelve, Richie, TWELVE!!! How have you not noticed that I am so damn in love with you, Richie Tozier. Even with fucking Coke bottle glasses you’re still blind as shit!” You both chuckled at that last statement. You sighed heavily. Richie didn’t quite know what to say and he was internally yelling at himself for not being able to say or do anything. You continued to look at him with sad eyes as he stood there silent with a look on his face you couldn’t quite read. You looked down at the ground, defeated.  

“Alright well if your just gonna stand there and say nothing I’m calling a cab home.” You turn back toward the school building at the brink of tears, feeling your heart break. 

For the first time since they had gotten out side, Richie had finally said something. And boy did he could have said something else, anything else at all, but the boy was left to deride himself as the first thing he said was,

“No, I’ll take you home.” It was quite and sounded almost broken as it came out of his mouth. You huffed, your heart officially shattering as tears welled in your eyes. Oh how he had hoped he would’ve said something different. 

“If you don’t mind I would just rather be alone right now.” Your voice came out low sounding almost betrayed.

Richie didn’t like the thought of you taking a cab alone. Although he knew you could handle yourself, he couldn’t stand the thought of leaving you alone with some smug creepy ass middle aged dude. So he handed you his keys.

“Here you take my car, I’ll take a cab.” You obliged just wanting to get out of there. You drove home with tears in your eyes craving the sweet comfort of your bed. When you finally got home, after what felt like forever you went straight to your room got into some sweatpants and a sweatshirt and just went to sleep.

You hadn’t talked to Richie since yesterday. It was currently late, around 12 or so and you were sat in your room on the phone with Bev, talking bout various things, but mostly Richie and the happenings of the dance. You suddenly heard taps at your bedroom window. 

“I think somebody is throwing things at my window hang on a sec Bev.” The girl on the other side of the phone let out a laugh, knowing full well that it was Richie, having overheard a conversation between him, Bill, and Eddie. She sat patiently on the other side of the phone hoping you wouldn’t hang up and she could hear the encounter with the boy you were currently fucking pissed at, according to your own words. You made it over to the window and pushed aside the curtain to have another pebble hit the window and startle you. You opened the window and looked down to find none other than Richie Tozier. 

“What the hell Richie!” 

“Let me in we need to talk” 

Before you could kindly tell him to fuck off he was already making his way to the other side of the house for you to open the front door. You ground and picked up the phone that was on your bed. 

“It’s Richie I’ll call you tomorrow.” 

                                      *meanwhile at Bev’s*

“She hung up” Bev said turning to Stan, Mike, Bill, and Ben. Eddie not present because of his mother. The boys all muttered various things along the lines of dammit and shit.

You opened the door with a disgruntled look on your face. 

“It’s midnight Richie, what do you want?”

“Can I come in?” Richie asked. You gave him a questioning look unsure if you even wanted him here. 

“Look (Y\N) I really need to talk to you please let me in.” He pleaded. You sighed and let him in. The both of you went towards the living room and took a seat on the couch. Richie was reluctant to start, afraid he might say something wrong and mess things up even more. He took a deep breath and said to himself fuck it, its now or never. 

“Those things you said yesterday… did you mean them?”

You looked up at him and nodded. “Yeah I did.”

An awkward silence fell as Richie thought about what to say next. Trying to delay the inevitable of saying sorry and the fear that you for some reason wouldn’t except his apology he asks about her, what he though, current relationship. “What about Lainey?“ 

This question just made you further upset and sent your mind in a spiral of bad endings for you and your bestfriend Richie Tozier. 

“She didn’t like dogs. It wasn’t gonna work out. Now are you gonna apologize or not.” You snapped at him not wanting to talk about Lainey and the real reason you guys broke up. All for that stupid dance. 

“Look (Y\N) I am so sorry for what I did. I treated you like shit, and you are the last person to deserve that.” He sighed and looked into (y\e\c) eyes trying to find the pull he needed to quite being a pussy. 

“The truth is I’m so in love with you it’s not even funny. I was only doing those things because I didn’t think you felt the same way. It was all supposed to be a distraction, I never meant to hurt you.” Richie pulled up his glasses and looked at you waiting for a response. You just stared at him, which scared the boy even more than words. You couldn’t think of anything else to do but bring your hand to his cheek and pull him closer until the gap between your lips was no more. He was shocked at first but kissed back. You two pulled away only for a second before connecting your lips once again, passion running through the both of your veins like a power surge. When you pulled away the second time you took a minute to look in each other eyes before Richie broke the silence. 

“Can I have my car keys back now, hot stuff?” You chuckled and got up and grabbed them off the table. Richie snaked an arm around you and rested his chin on the top of your head. “Hey why don’t we go for a drive?” He offered, knowing how much you love aimless car rides with loud music.

what are some BLs you recommend?

Omg I’m so sorry for taking so long responding! I’ve been so busy and was not ignoring you i swear! Btw I’m not listing these in any order other than how they come to me. Anyway I hope you like at least one thing I recommend ^^

1. History 2 Crossing the Line: it’s on youtube subbed. It’s a high school love story, which I admit I am a sucker for those. Ngl I am the type that falls for the secondary couple lol but I was totally invested in the main couple! The History series is also an anthology series so you don’t have to watch in order at all. 

2. Ossan’s Love: I watched on dramavery but I think it’s on fb too? I don’t use it anymore so idk really ^^’’ A real estate worker in his 30′s is courted by his older boss and new younger worker. This definitely leans more towards comedy but I love comedies because the serious scenes feel more impactful to me. A movie came out this summer but I don’t think it’s subbed yet. 

3. History 3 Trapped: On Viki. About a cop who falls for a mob leader. There are definitely not a lot of bl shows in that setting so this was fun! The main couple was amazing but I definitely fell for the secondary here xD zhao zi is just soo lol

4. Theory of love: On youtube: About a film student who has been in love with his best friend for 3 years and his attempts to move on. Really well made, great acting, fun film references, and the secondary couple Killed me lol

5. Together With Me: I watched on dailymotion. 2 best friends realize their feelings for each other after a drunken one night stand. The acting was great, chemistry for days, and fleshed out secondary characters. Tbh did Not like the secondary couple. I was very uncomfortable and skipped a lot...I got the lesson, the handling was actually good, but i guess I couldn’t stomach it. There is a second season but people don’t like it and i haven’t checked it either :/

6. Love by chance: On youtube. A sheltered boy(college student?) meets a soccer player and falls in love with him. There are technically 4 pairings in this series but I really only watched the main aepete and tincan...the other 2 again made me uncomfortable and like TWM. More like it was trying to handle “mature”,”taboo” topics and just couldn’t....A season 2 has been announced with a tincan focus so yay!

7. 2moons2: On youtube. About a college freshmen reunites with his highschool crush. The thing about this show is that there was a 2moons season 1 but ish happened and the old cast was dropped and the show was redone. I watched 2moons and as far as recommending? sure? lol I really only liked the mingkit pairing so yeah lol I personally do prefer 2moons2. The acting does start more stilted because they are beginners but they get better and the cast chemistry is good, pairings are better explored, and a type of cheesy that i am totally here for! A season 3 (technically 2) has been announced ^^

8. Lovesick the series: On youtube... I wouldn’t say this is top on my list but it’s a really well known bl as kind of what started the Bl trend. About high school boys falling in love. For what it is it’s cute and the acting gets better. Also earnpete is the couple that never was that Still haunts me to this day!!! lol 

9. Our Skyy: I watched on dailymotion. An anthology about couples from various gmmtv series revolving around their future. Really well made episodes. I watched all of them without watching the shows they were referencing and still liked it so you might too ^^

10. Kiss me Again: On youtube and dailymotion. About 2 college boys who can’t stand each other but fall in love. This show actually has a lot of pairings that have nothing to do with the BL story. The gmmtv youtube has the bl only cut so I would recommend that because i hear the show suckksss lol Personally I prefer the dailymotion bl cut because it keeps a lot of scenes that gmmtv didn’t.

 Dark Blue Kiss: On youtube. A sequal to kiss me again. More of a bl focus on the kma couple kaopete and the introduction of another couple. I Love this! for the most part people are loving the 2nd couple more (morksun) but i’m still enamored by kaopete ^^’’

Shows I haven’t finished or watched but hear great things

Great Men Academy: Kissasian: About a girl who is transformed into a boy and must find a way to turn back. I started it but haven’t had time to finish. But it’s really really good! I think this could have been handled very badly but it was done so well, the acting is great, and the world building makes sense.

He’s coming to Me: chingming subs on twitter. About a ghost trying to find out who killed him and meeting the one person who can see him. I’ve heard only great things about this show. It’s definitely on my to watch!!

Sotus: Youtube and now netflix Ok so i half watched this? i personally didn’t really feel chemistry with the couple and the story kinda felt like it was missing something. but at the time it was one of the only bls I knew about it so I kept with it but at this point i remember almost nothing!!! lol i know it’s about an upperclassman hazer who is courted by a freshman. So even though it did not strike a chord with me, it is a very very much loved show so you might love it too ^^ 

Diary of Tootsies: Youtube. About friends trying to find love. I’ve heard great stuff about this show. Apparently there’s good comedy and well handled issues which i love so i really need to watch!!

The Untamed: Netflix. A show based on a bl but bcz it was made in china it is very censored. It’s about cultivators, kinda like magical warriors, who try to bring stability to the world...i think lol....now i’m not the biggest fan of “implied” relationships, so i haven’t watched this and might not, but people Love this show!! I also don’t like overly magic stuff GMA i think had a level that i’m cool with but this might be too much. It is on netflix tho soo the convenience factor might bring me to watch it. 

Love is more than a word: Youtube. Another china bl that is obviously more censored...buttt i think done soo well. I haven’t finished this but I love what I’ve watched. The love just feels more explicit..and i think maybe bcz the acting may be better? (For me!) (I’ve seen gifs of Lan Wang ji and the ‘looks’ he gives We Wu Xian and I just Really don’t see it. like at. all.) (of course that could just be because i haven’t watched it, but i saw gifs of this show before watching it and i saw “it” lol) The Untamed is better made, beautiful visuals, but i just feel like this show draws me in more...but maybe it’s the magic thing too???

i just read tobys tweet explaining things in deltarune, and here are my thoughts.

spoilers for deltarune

1) deltarune isnt undertale, and it isnt related in anyway (ie. if you did a pacifist route and had a good ending in UNDERTALE, those characters in that universe are still happy.) its neither a prequel, sequel, or reset as many have theorized. its its own thing. it just... is. i like that.

i like the idea that this is just a different scenario/set up for the characters seen thru a new lens, while still staying somewhat true to their character (fishy things, such as alphys hating mew mew 1, seemed to point to a reset of some sort, but shes still the same in that shes nervous a lot and can go into long tangents about her interests.)

this idea makes it easier to make deltarune a separate thing, as toby said later in the tweet that he cant bring you the same feeling you had in undertale, but he will instead give you a new game that will give you new feelings.

but since the story isnt released, i have no idea how far or deep it goes- it seems that chara (now kris) is mostly still chara (still kris) and im happy the story has him as the main character. i think its an interesting contrast from frisk and undertale, much more suspenseful and takes on darker themes. (no im not going to discuss gaster lol)

2. toby seemed to have a lot of reprehension of the games battle system. i thought it was great and fun, the bullet dodging making it active more so than most rpgs, and the idea that blocking creates more TP in battle rather than TP being a distinguishable thing that you deplete and often cant restore until later, this was also a great idea. also the left over TP becomes more money. you cant lose in this scenario.

doing pacifist route (though this phrase itself means just that: not hurting enemies. nothing changes.) i found this to be an extremely fun and useful mechanic when used correctly. for ex (SPOILER) when fighting jevil, where i suck at dodging his bullet patterns cause i havent really figured them out yet, having kris ACT while suzy and ralsei blocked made it so that when they got hurt, i could have ralsei heal them, and could continue playing. it made it very tense too, having to manage and know where your TP percentage is at all times.

i believe that while the battle system could be improved on, (perhaps more interactive ACTS like rearranging block man, or blowing on bunnies. more gear [it was a demo so there will obviously be more], idk. im not a dev im an art major.), it isnt inherently flawed. it is just that: a demo. a thought or concept that can be flushed out more.

i also loved the style of fight sequences, the flashiness of attacking and ACTing, and seeing characters interact with eachother in battle. it really was something i loved and will remember!

3) the in game bullet dodging, outside of battle sequences. this made walking around the world be more than walking around the world. i thought it did a great job at solidifying the concept of the soul/heart, and it was fun maneuvering around them. i love dodging bullets lol. i can see this becoming a big part of the game.

4) Puzzles. toby admitted that some things were lack luster compared to others, but i wouldnt necessarily say that grandeur = to value of its function. puzzles and their concepts repeated themselves, such as the symbol puzzle and button puzzles. the one exception being the eye puzzle. i thing that while these were simple, i had fun going through them. sure, they were easy (for the most part, getting the key was a pain in the ass 4 me cause i kept fucking up the door order). all in all, the puzzles were fun, but not an focal point in the game (Demo, btw.) im sure that when toby does bring puzzles into the next chapters, they'll play a bigger role. that brings me to

3.5) i added this after cause i remembered it but didnt want to change all the numbers cause lazy .... so.

NO multiple endings

this makes sense as it would take a long time to create multiple endings given everything else thats on the plate this time. im not disappointed or sad, i simply understand. it IS a different game, and i think it will be important to the lore (your choices dont matter).

also, like toby said, most games are already like this. i welcome it.

4) the development for the next chapters.

Toby making a game as great as undertale (i never played it but watched a walkthrough, an understood the plot as most of my friends loved it) by himself for the most part, with help from Temmie (of course!) and as well as help with the art, its an incredible feat. no wonder the whole theme of the game was determination. that being said, deltarune is an incredibly ambitious game, even more so than undertale, and it seems that hes had it in the vaults of his mind for a long time. maybe even before undertale.

it makes sense that a game of this scope will take much longer to create. with a much more complicated party system, battle system, increase in pixel art quality, more dynamic fight sequences and UI as well as like, a thousand things im forgetting, its a fucking miracle he had the determination to create and finish that. (if only i could start having that much motivation sadface).

i look forward to what he has in store for us, and i will be patient until then, considering these things take time, and toby is a human, depsite what people believe. many do have high expectations of him, but i think so long as he remembers this is about him giving his ideas and stories to the world, he'll be okay (hopefully).

5) the team

im not sure how, when, what, or uh whomst it will be obviously. point 7 was really funny. i think that toby wont have a hard time finding people wanting to work with him and on the team, but i think it will be difficult to find people who are motivated and determined enough.

6) last thoughts

i think that the world with darkeners being seperate from kris' real world is a very interesting and cool thing! it makes you wonder if its real or not. i think this will make future chapters SUPER interesting, seeing if actions in the darkener world change things in the lightener world? how it will play into the plot in the lightener world will be interesting.

also, asriel is alive in this game. hes in university, so hes an adult. im scared that something bad will happen to him and kris in the future. but also, theyre both alive! yay! i wonder if we'll see of hear about frisk again, either way i love it.

and last, the ending. what can i say? its like, really vague. i think the contrast between asriel and kris will be a big conflict in this game- asriels side of the room being filled with trophies and personal items, while kris' is empty excluding the mysterious birdcage. people in town bringing up and talking about their wonderful memories with asriel in the past, but im not sure if this is relevant or just toby letting us get more of an idea of his role. all in all he seems very loved and popular, while kris is... something else. i dont know what yet. i hope he gets a happy ending though.

and he seems like he was possessed, or not wholly himself at the end. his snappy walk and dragging himself was very unlike what we've seen throughout the game. i dont know what this means, if its more like his true nature or something else. did he know about his soul/heart before the events of the game? does he do this often, as at the beginning the desription of the birdcage and wagon depicted itcas heavily used? why the hell does he have a whole ass knife? he gonna kill someone?

also i think kris is in early highschool/late middleschool as his classmates seem to be working around town. i dont know what the work age there is tho. el oh el

all in all, i really wish him luck, i was SUPER, ULTRA satisfied with deltarune chap 1, and i cant wait to see what happens in the future. also, i loved the music
