I know a lot of the characters in The Vampire Chronicles have their unsavoury moments and the vampire Khayman/Benjamin (who's POV is introduced in QotD) is no different. But this is by far the best scene in the book so far after the Devil's Minion chapter:

Happy that Rowan is pregnant so that we get baby Lasher one day

The poor incel actor, I always feel bad when actors have to play up their own physical weaknesses

The Mayfairs ganging up on Rowan is great. She did try to abandon her family, even if she barely knows them

I love how Rowan and Jojo look like sisters. Them standing next to each other while Cortland leers is great

I'm actually liking the different powers a la X-Men style. But my fave superheroes are the X-Men

This show is def a CW style TVD or The Originals by this point, but I've seen all episodes of both shows and love them in their own way so if I just forget that this is based on Anne Rice then I'm not having as bad of a time as IWTV

Even tho Michael Curry is an ass, I like him as a char. I do not like, or care for Ciprien

Like Cip is so bland and has no personality besides being Talamascan and boring (not the actor's fault, guy is doing the best he can)

If they give Jack Huston better hair next season, he'd be a perf Lasher. He's def growing on me

If this old man is David Talbot, I'm here for it

This was the first episode where I wanted more when it ended
