 okay but the losers club at boarding school:

richie never seems to fail at losing tv privileges - he loses them so often that the others have perfected a way to sneak him in, just because richie will complain if they watch too much without him

stan plays the french horn and richie plays guitar, but richie regularly steals and (badly) plays stan’s instrument

somehow, they’ve ended up being in charge of the yearly halloween celebrations, and they’re really crazy about it: they put decorations up everywhere, dress up, make a mess somewhere with fake blood, and do a “12 days of halloween” countdown where they watch scary movies every day til halloween, where they marathon movies all night - and, once they get sent to bed, they tell scary stories in their dorm (flashlight included)

they have become masters in the art of sneaking beverly in after bonding over their love of grilled cheese sandwiches (to quote eddie, “they’re just so fucking cheesy, it’s amazing”)

stan is a breakfast loser and is always first up to get breakfast; surprisingly, eddie is always second up because he has some weird thing about “gotta eat breakfast or i’ll - like - pass out!” and then either mike or bill are usually third and it’s more of a variable order here but richie is always last

in fact, richie is just late for everything

he can be late for a class in a room opposite the one he was just in

eddie’s picky about his food and refuses to eat anything that looks gross e.g. everything, so it’s always someone’s job to bully/coerce him into actually eating his dinner (ben tries to be nice about it, but it never really works; and stan just stares eddie into guiltily eating)

eddie also stays up into the night reading with the flashlight which annoys richie no end, even though he’s not trying to sleep because he’s busy watching shitty youtube videos

and stan does homework until late because he’s paranoid about getting shit grades even though he’s a straight a student and bill has to put him to bed sometimes because stan wouldn’t sleep to do homework 

sometimes they can hear eddie inhaling in the distance and not a single other one of the losers won’t laugh at the noise because eddie is all about that overdramatic inhaling 

richie’s social media presence is incredibly curated despite looking random. eddie runs a happy self-help blog. stan posts film stills. bill has no idea what he’s doing with social media and doesn’t know what to post. ben listens to cheesy music on spotify because he forgets it’s linked to his facebook and richie teases him relentlessly. bev and mike are in a permanent competition over who takes the best photos and fight over instagram likes

they go out all the time to town, but they mostly just end up doing stupid things like jousting with pringles cans in supermarket carts or dropping by the music store and dad-dancing to whatever’s playing and try and line their faces up to peoples’ faces on the records and just having a stupidly great time 

nobody’s really allowed to play music out loud cause they’ll all argue about it but the losers sometimes like to listen to each other’s songs - they all have a spotify but sometimes they just sit around sharing earphones 

because they’re in a boarding school, they are basically just a hug crew and lie on top of each other and sprawled over each other all the time (richie likes to smother eddie because it’s fun, whereas stan and bill and mike are all shoulder-leaners and beverly is entirely dependent on her mood)

eddie always puts his phone in the wrong pocket or puts his stuff in the wrong place and freaks out for way too long that he’s lost it

stan and bill have their things meticulously organised and have to help fold everybody else’s clothes up when they’re packing for holidays because they can fold like pros and stan, in particular, has the ability to foresee exactly how one should pack their bag for optimal fit (this helps, because richie brings way too much stuff every damn semester)
