#enjoyed this!#my sister won an arc so I borrowed it #it's pretty long but is single-pov #probably not ideal reading for the first few weeks of the semester because I had to keep putting it down for days at at time #I enjoyed remy as a protagonist he had a good mix of snark and trauma #chupeco has written ya in the past but this is v much adult in terms of sex violence and swearing #great polyamorous romance!#could not on my life explain how remy's special vampire-hunting weapon works though #also it is the first in a series I think a duology but doesn't end on an awful cliffhanger so that's nice #2022 reads #silver under nightfall #lulu speaks #lulu reads #lulu reads silver under nightfall #also I think remy is nonbinary because he prefers a gender-neutral title over being called lord #but he is also kinda repressed and Going Through It #so perhaps there will be more self reflection on gender in the sequel?
