dealing with the housing crisis here is very demoralising and not to sound spoiled but as someone who is very introverted and socially anxious I am really tired of living with a housemate.

I miss when my bf and I had a place to ourselves but that was in the US and going back is not really an option because well...look at it

#living in Ireland really sucks because of the housing crisis #but the US genuinely scares me the way it's going right now #and as bad as the housing crisis is here #I don't worry about getting shot everywhere I go #I don't worry that I'm one accident or unforeseen health problem from a lifetime of debt #even with health insurance #and even with the concerning rise in far-right rhetoric here #it's still relatively small compared to the huge reactionary backlash from conservatives going on in the US
