Take: chaotic evil Yehonatan, in which he knew David is meant to replace him and his father from the very start.

TLDR: Yehonatan is as, if not more likely to be the abuser in their relationship because it is plain unfair to overlook how humongous their power gap is, and he is abused enough to be at least a little unhinged in his noggins.

Warning: dead dove do not eat. Im going to entertain an idea where Yehonatan is definitely not a good person. If you have a problem with that, or have issue reading fictional underage abuse and emotional manipulation, please stop reading. Finally, nothing about this is meant to be serious interpretation of the original text, it's all plain headcanoning for fanfiction.

(For the record, i seriously do not consider David (even close to being) a morally good individual in any possible sense of the word. It doesn't make any of this ok tho)

Some fanfics i've seen paint the davinatan ship as a manipulative one, with david being the seducter that manipulates Yehonatan into simping for him, only to discard him after David achieved his goals. Even outside of fanfictions, i know of people who view Yehonatan as a tragic victim. While i appreciate David's more malicious side being acknowledged, and agree with it more than depicting them simply and benignly loving eachother(tho i appreciate that too), I can't help but think how both protrayal down plays just how utterly creepy yehonatan's part in the relationship is.

Like, Yehonatan, a middle aged man with wives and kids, went ahead and basically stripped in front of a teen the first night they met then gave him some really personal and valuable gifts. If thats not a red flag i don't know what is.

Yehonatan is someone you do not want to cross, maybe even more so than Saul.

It is easy to forget that, holding the title of eldest son and legal heir to the throne comes with immense pressure, responsibility and danger, and dealing with all that takes more than just a thick backbone. With a deranged father as king, people around him are constantly plotting to take the throne for themselves. All bets are off in the war for the throne, even if Yehonatan doesn't actually want to be king, his competitors (which includes but not limited to his entire family) wouldn't rest until he is dead. He isn't in a position where he can just back off: it isn't unheard of that princes and kings renounce their positions, retire, and end up getting assassinated or executed anyway. Because king or not, they are still legitimate heirs to the throne and therefore a potential threat.

Basically, Yehonatan lives in a situation where he simply cannot afford to show weakness or hesitation, not to his subordinates, not to his brothers, not to his father, not to anyone. What doesn't kill you makes you dangerous, and Yehonatan is deadly in that sense.

(But its not to say all that didn't take a toll on his mental wellbeing. Yehonatan has no business being mentally ok. He watched his father ascend to the throne, watched as Saul sunk further towards insanity, and had to endure his often psychotic abuse for years. I don't believe one bit that he isn't depressed and at least a little messed up, especially in a time where mental illnesses aren't even acknowledged yet.)

To sum it up, as a weathered crown prince, Yehonatan would logically be a person who is reasonably paranoid, moderately ruthless, extremely strong willed and more than competently intuitive about the motives and intentions of people around him.

David on the other hand (at the start of their relationship anyway) had no prior experience mingling with politics, no ties in the palace, was never regarded with importance by his father or brothers (meaning he had zero exposure and no one ever invested in him), young and inexperienced (meaning vulnerable to manipulation), stands no chance against Yehonatan if he were to play mind games on him.

David could pull an Esther on Yehonatan. But keep in mind Esther and a lot of other femme fatal spies in history had ties that helped pull strings from the outside, they are often not the master mind either. David had himself, and practically nothing else.

This is why Yehonatan helping him matters so much. Useing weak willed and easily manipulated individuals only works for you if you are already a powerful dictator. If you have absolutely nothing you need powerful allys.

The most straightforward option for dark Yehonatan is just to kick the creep element up ten notchs. David tries to seduce Yehonatan, then immediately realises he bit off more than he could chew: he is just too possessive to be controlled. Yehonatan in this scenario probably somewhat resembles that purple creep from Tokyo ghoul, entertaining while the shock value lasts, but after that it gets pretty shallow. I hate this approach tbh.

Or, him seeing David that day was Yehonatan's last straw(what i doodled basically). He stops giving a sh*t about everything, and thought since he is so "in love" he might as well groom and sodomize David. Its a petty way of getting back at God for making him fall for the boy, and for making his life miserable in general.

He uses his charms and presents himself as a saintly figure to appeal to David's more religious side, then proceeds to not only make sure that David is emotionally dependent on him(i won't elaborate how but its easier than you think), but also plans to make it so that if he dies it will f*ck David in the head. He enjoys this, because for once in his life he feels a "real" sense of control, albeit a twisted and perverted one.

(Maybe he will feel shame and regret eventually, but thats another talk for another day.)

I'll borrow my friend's comment to sum up the take: "a broken abused individual perpetuating a cycle of abuse to an ambitions sociopathic twink, each making the other worse just through being together." Another reason i prefer this version of dark Yehonatan is cuz it restores some agency Yehonatan desperate lacks.

Strayed quite far from his canon image with my shameless slandering but yeah that's about it. For now. Might explore David's pov in this later.

As for Papyrus.. its complicated.

Papyrus had accepted long ago that Sans and all his friends were gone. And that he was never going to see them again.. It really hurt. And it took him a very long time to accept that fact. But he did. He knows in his soul that his true brother is gone..

That didn't make seeing "Sans" again any less painful though. He probably saw a Sans through the trees in a new Snowdin. Man, I cant imagine how he felt.

The whole multiverse thing was explained to him by Frisk. He knows that's not his Sans. He knows its not him. But gosh. Its been so long since he's seen his brothers smile. What he would give to hear one of his silly puns again. What he would give to hear his voice.. to just.. to hug him one last time..

Frisk would grab Papyrus' hand, "Papyrus.. we need to go.. please, common.."

Seeing the other Papyrus walk into view and begin talking to that Sans.. He recollects himself. Its not him. Sans is gone. He's been gone for a very long time..

With tears streaming down his face, he would find the strength to grip Frisk's hand.. and turn away.

Well the strongest would be Blue Beauty by far- but looking at the smaller cookies? I think Seafoam is probably the strongest. But that's mostly due to him being so big. He's the biggest cookie on the crew and most of his strength just comes from packing more weight to his punch.

Though another toughy on the ship would be Louis. He may not be very big. But boy that crab arm? He has a grip strong enough to break cookies in half. And enough upper body strength to take your pieces and chuck em overboard--- 💀💀💀I wouldn't mess with either of them tbh--

As for the bounty.. that's a good question. :0 I wanna say Seafoam because he's the Captain an all.. but I really like the idea of Cuttlefish having this dark past and a surprisingly huge bounty over her head- 👀👀

Its a very interesting prompt. Usually we think of Captain Barnacles as very level headed and calm. He seems like one to bounce back from any situation and keep leading the team no problem. But man. After something like that? That's gotta scare him to his core.

I can see Barnacles being more tense and not wanting any of the crew to stray too far from him or the Octopod. I can imagine that he would give Kwazii a lot of time to recover, a lot more than he actually needs. And maybe even going as far to forbid him from going on certain missions.

But after a little time and maybe a talk with Kwazii. I'm sure both Kwazii and the Captain would recover from the experience and continue on as normal.

I hated the tr ending so badly. Not because it was rushed or anything. Wakui could have fleshed out the last timeline so thoroughly and logically and I would still hate it because the ending itself goes against what I felt the story stood for in the first place. He replaced all the characters for fakes, none of the characters we were intoduced to had happy endings because they either are totally different people or re lived their life to avoid healing. The ending basically proved izanas last words right "there's no saving me" yeah I guess not if the only way to help everyone is to make sure their lives never happened the way it did. Horrible I hate it so much. Also one ship I hate is rinzu or ranzu because they don't even interact once and it's so popular for no fucking reason other than "its hot" and tbh they would prolly hate eachother like petty bitches, they would NOT get along at any point. I think you're the first person who has the same opinion as me lmao😭. I also didn't believe it should have had an ending like that at all because of the themes that had been set up during the entire story. I understand people's perspectives of "It's Wakui's manga and it's his ending he can do what he wants" but media is supposed to be talked about, discussed and even criticized at times. That's like, the whole point of publishing stuff. As an enjoyer and supporter of Wakui's manga, I feel like I have the right to question some inconsistencies and contradictions (not directly attack him tho, that's never okay. like people who send death threats over ships and stuff that's messed up) that showed up in the ending. I also believe lots of people didn't really take it seriously as a manga idk. It had some very serious topics that people seem to forget about. For example: suicide, abuse, abandonment, child neglect, substance abuse, extreme violence, rape, prostitution etc, and I think people just kinda see it as a silly manga that has cool characters they like. And that's okay. It's okay to not take a piece of media seriously and enjoy it for the sake of enjoying it, not everything needs to be critically analyzed, but stop shitting on the people who take it seriously enough to question why the fuck it ended how it ended. Lots of the discourse took place between critical analysers who wanted an author to finish the manga by sticking to the themes and messages he has set up the entire time versus casual enjoyers who just wanted everyone to be happy for the sake of liking the characters. And I completely agree with the Izana thing!!!! You cannot claim to have saved someone by rewriting their entire life!!! Takemitchy was not supposed to be god!! Also, isn't the moral story of time travel that you should never ever do it? Because you win some, you lose a whole lot fucking more. I thought Draken dying was setting up that narrative. That saving Mikey, was gonna fuck up a whole lot. Isn't that why Chifuyu broke down?

Idk about you guys, but dark impulses being a curse disappointed me quite a bit. I thought it was supposed to be a symbol of Mikey being deeply mentaly ill. And that he had to deal with it head on and not run away all the time (this was Takemichi's entire storyline basically and the the main theme of TR). I just feel like it sucked because the message of the ending, whether Wakui intended it or not, was that you can't be fixed without magical time traveling. Although the story had some fictional aspects, it was realistic at least. I thought they'd deal with everything that wasn't time travel realistically.

Any ship with Sanzu and the Haitani's is hilarious to me and although I don't ship any of them seriously, the fanarts fun to look at some time (and you're right I think they look good together cause they're hot😭). You are completely correct about them not liking each other tho. It's actually canon. Idk if you remember during the three deities fight when Ran hit Haruchiyo with his baton? Nothing but pure malice between their eyes😭. The Koko and Akane ship actually triggers me because one thing about me? I'm not comfortable with large age gaps. Akane was 5 years older than Koko💀. And I didn't know people took what she said to him seriously. I thought she was just trying to not hurt his feelings? Koko and Inupi were around 7/8 when the fire happened. Meaning Akane was like 12/13. Uhhh Idk bout y'all but I don't think a 13 yo would be attracted to someone that young. And waiting for them to be of age is...😶. Be fr.

THIS BOY IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. Seriously though, I've been loving him and writing him since 2011? give or take? he has remained my favorite character through so many years. Reading along when the chapters were still being released monthly was a time and following along with him and his part in the story has really made me love him the way that I do.

and yes I am !! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Gosh I don't even know where to begin I could literally talk about him and them forever. I will say though they are my favorite dynamic in the series. I think they are a perfect blend, and for Break, Gil is like the spitting image of him and all his past mistakes. Break brings Gil in on their plan because they plan to use him. It was always supposed to be business transaction them working together. Break training him to be the killer he was going to have to be if he was going to get Oz back. He had no choice but to be hard on him. And throughout their ten years together, break made the mistake of caring for gilbert. I think part of it is Break needing gil to stay focused so their plan doesn't get ruined, but also because he sees similarities between himself and Gil. Break also had a deep loyalty for his previous master. his grief, his failure to protect the people he cared for lead him down such an awful path and he lost a lot because of it.

He warns Gilbert several times, and when Vincent basically poisons his mind, Break is the first person to notice. There's where they are silly for the comedic relief and Break is always making fun of him, but I really feel Break is the one who really sees Gil for Gil. There was a fic I read, that I loved how they depicted Break and Gil. Gil had gotten drunk, and wasn't the first time but this was before they got Oz back, and Break is once again calling him pathetic as he's lifting him up on his feet and Gil goes 'Are you really surprised?' and Break any other day would have teased him, but he just sees the reality of everything weighing down on Gil's shoulders and he just answers 'no.'

AND UGH IT HURTS. Also just the parallels between them?? Like when Break finds Gil in the rain, he's carrying Gil on his back and then grown up, Gil is the one carrying Break ;-; LIKE COME ON

and even tho break is horrible to him on a daily basis, he still CARES very much for Break. When everyone was in the room after he passes out at Sablier, Gil looks awful and he's wanting to be sentimental before Break shoves Emily in his face cuz FEELINGS.

Or how he was uspet Break hadn't trusted him enough with that fact he was an illegal contractor. He was like '10 years I've known you!' he's hurt break still doesn't consider him someone he can trust.

As a ship they are not healthy, I very much enjoy the 'this is just business' kind of relationship where they both use each other for different things they are looking for, but still both unable to really act on their feelings for each other because #complicated

Nicotine by Panic! At the Disco is a song I really love for them because I think it really shows Gil's perspective of how this is bad for me but I can't quite stop. 'Just one more hit and then we're through cuz you could never love me back' its very much onesided. also i think it works perfectly with how Break tricked Gil into basically being addicted to smoking NNFDKLNDS

but they both really grow throughout the series, and when Gil comes back for Oz, minus an arm, Break overhearing everything and saying how he doesn't have to worry about Gilbert anymore just GOD IT MAKES MY HEART REALLY ACHE. i love them.

also this was before we had more info on the children of misfortune, and break is a very special case, but we love Gilbert being like Glen and sending Break to the abyss. ITS GOOD AND HURTFUL FOOD. As I posted last night, this was the post that for whatever reason made my brain buzz and make a brief AU one off about a Blighted princess, Bosched Knight and Luckless Luzer. If you think this is all the Amischa content I have... Well, I focus a lot on Rich Witch and Power of Love for what I promote here because they're the easiest and tie directly back into themes of TOH because they are the ones that took TOH's ideas and ran with them the furthest. The ones started when TOH was full of possibility and such an open space that I feel it COULD inspire a billion stories, while honestly I feel like each special actually shrinks the potential of it and S2 had already done plenty of damage to the world and characters. Got a bit sidetracked but the point is that I do have a LOT more out there (I have literally 43 different TOH stories and 18 of them feature Amity and Boscha in them) so I thought I'd use this post to share some positivity towards Amischa because I think the ship is great. I think the two's relationship in general is fascinating. Though I actually want to say first that I don't think it was ever something the show really should have explored. Not once the first season came out. Hell, I commonly argued between S1 and S2 that the show had so many other things going on, and Winging it Like Witches felt like such a good climax to Hexide elements, that if we never saw Boscha again I wouldn't be surprised. The show was simply past dealing with bullies at that point as it turned its attention towards bigger threats so now that Amity was a friend... Why not move on? I mean, when I write Lumity, I'm effectively writing S1 Lumity rather than S2 and I still love those two together. They fundamentally changed what I wrote going forward. Boscha just later kicked down the door, took a seat and demanded she was staying. XD Joro Rigged Pets: The barely fanfiction Lumischa story I really need to keep working on since I actually have the cover already commissioned for when I convert it to original fiction. This one features a non-binary Luz who inherits a pair of spiders who aren't spiders but actually the Jorogumo Boscha and the spider she has been incubating for a thousand years, Amity. And that time of transformation is quite close at hand and with it will come complications, love, fears and hungers the sort that no human can understand. Also has LOTS of identity themes in general.

The Crow House: I won't do a hard sell on this one because it died far earlier than I wish it had. A Swap AU is going to feel more like a fix it fic if you're not happy with the source material and that's not what I want to write. As for who was swapped? So many people. Amity and Luz, Lilith and Eda, Kiki and King, etc. Boscha's swap was with Willow where she actually had so much corrupted physical strength as to not be able to safely TOUCH PEOPLE. She literally couldn't control it so a light tap might accidentally come out as a hard jab. She literally shatters multiple of Hunter's bones in her first appearance while trying to apply only a little pressure back. Not that Amity gives a damn. She'll still grab the demon because while Boscha won't touch her, Amity can still touch her hero, regardless of Boscha's protests. A Player, A Scout and a Lich Walk Into An Evil Resident: Technically a future AU with adult Amity and Boscha already in a relationship doing a mission for the Emperor's Coven that ends up not going the way either expected. Fraught With Emotions: Not an AU! Finally. This one has me having Amity, Boscha and Luz go to the Emotionarium, a place where you can have your emotions soothed, twisted, enhanced or even removed. Now why might two old friends want to be in a place like that?

Amity? is Your Baby Tonight: Inspired by a very good Whitney Houston song in my opinion, it's time for Amity, while still having green hair, to serenade and seduce the girl she loves. Where did she get such confidence though?

Amity's Many Misspellings: First just Amischa story with a coffee shop AU! And Amity of all people for some reason being unable to ever get Boscha's name right. Amity's Private Penstagram: Luz and Amity go on a trip down memory lane to pictures Amity had never shared with anyone else before. Especially the one who's picture she took most. Boscha's Best Bedside Manner: A bad night gets worse? when Boscha shows up out of the blue. How could someone as rough and blunt as Boscha ever help with a problem after all? Let alone one that seemed so entirely insurmountable to Amity? (This might easily be the best one off I have for showing why I think Boscha helps complete Lumity as a note). Under a Tree of Love: Two links on this one. This first one features a very short story about Amity growing up under a suspiciously alive tree while finding love with her best friend Boscha under its same branches. If you like it though, I actually expanded it into a full length novella, with a similar but more thorough structure, called Under the Boughs of Love that you can check out through the link on this paragraph. Chapters Left Behind: Amity and Luz sure did abandon their club stand in Sport in a Storm, didn't they? What happened to those books that were left behind? Discarded like Amity had once thrown away a large chapter of her life before? And was there still room for both in her life? I left out a couple AUs that hadn't ever gotten very far and two stories stories that I wrote for a friend that are more sad than anything else rather than hopeful like all of these. I do hope this shows JUST how much I've done with these characters though, especially when I remind you that The Power of Love is still over 300k words, The Eyes Beneath the Water (which has barely had the Amity and Boscha inspired characters even talk to each other, hence why it wasn't linked) is over 80k minimum (haven't done a word count check in a while for it) and Rich Witch is also over 80k words. And most of that writing was done back in 2021 when something about TOH and its community opened up my brain and just let me type. Type so much that in the span of 8 months, I wrote over five hundred THOUSAND words. And boy would I love to return to even a fraction of that strength again. *sigh*

Some people might be a bit frustrated about Aeriths "Maybe", but I would seriously ask those people to remember their first love and tell me nothing stirs inside them, thinking of that person. Not in the "I love them" kind of way, but your heart still remembers that feeling well and connects it to that person. Plus... to be fair here, Aerith never had a chance to close that Zack-Chapter since it was obviously never confirmed that he is dead. Also... I think Aerith never knew how important she was to Zack to begin with. Even tho his parents she hinted at the fact that he was a bit of a Ladys man... so... its really complicated for her. Not to mention, she later on, if you get the golden date, mentions that at first, Cloud was interesting to her because of all the mannerisms he adapted from Zack and only later on fell in love with whatever the real Cloud was willing to show her of his true self. Making it also very confusing for her. Cloud is very dear to her, that is without question. HOWEVER that doesn't have to mean all her feeling for Zack are completely lost. And I think all the shipping war aside, we have to accept one thing: Moving on, doesn't mean you don't have any more feelings for the person who is gone. And I am also saying that for the people who think Cloud could not have feelings for Aerith, because he moved on with Tifa relatively soon. If life goes on, you gotta live it. Just saying.

So do not be frustrated about the "maybe" it wasn't a clear "yes" either. And she still called Zack "her first love", which indicates that there is someone else too.

And I think it only fair, that if Cloud gets a Aerith-Points-Gatherin-Moment in Zacks home of all places that it isn't playing her feelings for Zack done, just for the sake of the other ship.

Let's talk about Mako and the end of Makorra

Cuz guys I'm inspired to talk about this.

The old fans know what was the fandom back in 2012-2014, the ship wars and love triangle haters, something that's common in fandom's.

This time i will do this commentary in a different way, i will put some questions and answer them. Hope you guys enjoy

Mako was and still is hated by some fans, he deserves that? No. Yes, he was hated by his actions in book 1 and 2, Asami was also hated by some Makorra fans because she was "getting in the way" of the ship. Some Masami shipers hates Korra because she was also "getting in the way" and was all immature and a brat. We were teenagers/young adult and we were immature and young to realize how important was that love triangle mess to the development of Korra, Mako and Asami as individuals.

Coincidence or not after book 2, Mako become more invested in his friendship and partnership with the Krew. Asami, who was always the real mature of the Krew, so she didn't change that much but she gave Mako's space to resonate all that happened and reach for Korra. And Korra started to be more calm, to actual listen to people.

We can't forget that they were all teenagers and they made mistakes

Bryke ended Makorra just because of the haters? I doubt. There's tons os reasons on why Makorra failed as a romantic relationship. Both of them were young and immature, they were dealing with serious shit -Korra in the watertribe and Mako in RC- and that slowly pulled them apart, great friends but not so great boyfriend and girlfriend kind of stuff...It didn't work. They fought all the time, they didn't have a good communication, sometimes they didn't seem to care about what the other was dealing with, it wasn't healthy for non of them

So they ended the couple because it wasn't working on screen. Ship wars and ship haters always happened in shows, and even tho Makorra had its haters, it also had its supporters. Makorra was the second bigger ship of the fandom and back in book 1 and 2, it was the bigger ship. So if Bryke would up to do fanservice with dealing with Makorra, Makorra would have been endgame or at least a real thing until book4

And also, as a writer, sometimes the characters write themselves, they tell you what they want and how things are gonna be. Makorra didn't work as romantic couple but they show us how great they can be as friends

Let's not forget that is already known that the writers thought about Korrasami since book 1 (and it shows, seriously, trust me cuz i watch the show a thousand times already), doesn't matter if started as a joke or something, or if they thought about it but was like"anyway, never gonna happen" , and then when they realized Korrasami could happen, they go full on board with it. I don't know, but i think is valid to mention

Conclusion: Makorra didn't work because it didn't have to. "Oh but they love each other" yes but love isn't the only thing in a relationship. It have to have commitment, communication, respect, trust... A whole bag of stuff that both Mako and Korra aren't ready/didn't have in book 1 and 2. And they still love each other as friends

And yes, is hella unnecessary hate Mako because of his choices and mistake in the beginning of the show because he really glow up in the next two books. And it's funny because like, I've been watching the new reactions of the show and people would be like 🙄 with him in book 1 and 2, not hate, just 🙄. But in book 3 and 4 they were like 😍🥰☺️ with him. And that proves he had development, that he became a good character, worthy or our respective and love just like the other characters in the show

MY DBS MANGA CHAPTER 70 REVIEW

We learn in the last chapter that the Cerealian Dragon's name is Toronbo when Granolah speaks Namekian. Toronbo grants Granolah's wish but can't make Granolah stronger than the gods.

Here's the confusion I have... Goku is a mortal beyond GoDs so making Granolah the strongest mortal is making him stronger than gods. If you wanna say Beerus has been training and is now stronger than Goku, there's still a problem. It was said that Goku and Vegeta were stronger than some GoDs right before the ToP (but that might be anime only, so maybe it doesn't apply here). So Granolah is stronger than GoDs no matter what. If the gods that Toronbo is speaking of are the Angels, then that means Granolah is Ultra Instinct level of power since Goku is the lowest in Angel tier. But whatever. Bottom line is Granolah is temporarily stronger than Goku who may or may not be stronger than Beerus.

Granolah gets his wish granted and the cost is shortening his life... cool. Not much to say except let's see how its executed.

(I recently read that in DBXV2, during the Infinite History Saga, Videl is enchanted with Towa's Dark Magic spell by Dabura shaving off her life but granting her greater power. So granting power at the cost of lifespan has been done in DB before. Not in canon but in the games.)

Also, Granolah's life being shortened to 3 yrs got me thinking... Currently it's almost AGE 781 in the DBS manga timeline. Goku leaves to train Uub in AGE 784. We got 3 yrs left. The original manga shows Bulma said she hadn't seen Goku in 5 yrs. How I see DBS is that it is an alternate timeline that just happens to have a similar outcome to the EoZ.

So... why is Vegeta learing from Beerus again if Beerus isn't that strong now? Is Vegeta being like Krillin and continuing his learning from a master weaker than him, but gaining wisdom & knowledge? I-is Vegeta becoming Krillin 2.0?! (More like dollar-store Krillin)

I do think beerus got stronger tho. He seems very confident that Vegeta can get stronger from learning from him. Beerus probably saw Goku get UI then decide to train aftet the ToP

Anyways, Beerus is teaching us about hakai/destruction energy. Its erasing something from existence, not just destroying it (we already knew that). But, Vegeta quickly figures out how to do it anyways. By destroying a tiny pebble...

A tangent again but I personally think Piccolo is capable of easily learning Hakai energy. Think about it. Piccolo can create clothing out of nothing, why could he not do the reverse?

Goku is uninterested in what Beerus & Vegeta are doing. I dont know about you, but it sounds like Goku thinks that he's above Beerus in strength. Beerus & Vegeta aren't considered a challenge to him in any way. Goku sees UI as more important & better than anything Beerus has to teach, and Goku is right. Plus Goku learned Hakai on his own while Vegeta needs Beerus to teach him. It's a waste of Goku's time to learn it again.

Goku says "Let's see which one of us can be the strongest in the universe!" Really, Goku...? At present time, Goku is the strongest mortal in the universe already. He should know that. Then Vegeta for some reason thinks he will become the strongest in the universe. The last time manga Vegeta was the strongest mortal in the universe was... never. He's always behind Goku or whatever new opponent arises. This scene is meant to be comedic that they're arguing over who will be the greatest but it's not funny to me. And yet Vegeta fans still hold on for hope.

But why is Goku concerned about being the strongest between him & Vegeta? Goku is far above Vegeta. They're not rivals at this point. Also, Goku was the strongest in the universe until just a few moments ago. Goku should be saying "I knew bein' the strongest wouldn't last for too long. Roshi did tell me there will always be somebody stronger out there. Hehe! This is gettin' me excited! I can't wait to meet 'em!" (This would alsp parallel Monaito giving Granolah the same advice Goku already knows.)

Also, I guess Broly isn't that strong after all. Bye Broly, you served your purpose. And to think that Goku had said that he thinks Broly is stronger than Beerus...

Oh yeah. So Vegeta destroys a pebble. Impressive? Goku kinda gives a compliment or he is practically saying "Good job Vegeta! You're doing great following in my footsteps!" Seriously, this would be so much better and cooler if this seperate paths of training began right after the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 tournament. That would be the perfect spot to have them train under Beerus & Whis. [Vegeta using Hakai against Merged Zamasu, Goku able to fight Merged Zamasu temporarily because he is getting better at letting his body move on its own, Toppo & Vegeta using Hakai against each other as Goku & Jiren use power above GoDs. That would work so much better.]

Then Vegeta says he's gonna destroy bigger things soon... is that supposed to be more impressive? Its not. But this it to build up Vegeta even though there is nothing amazing about anything he is doing at the moment. Maybe later tho.

So Cerealians can't grow beards. Also I guess Granolah's race don't age? His hair grew when his lifespan was shortened but he has no wrinkles. It seems that they age more gracefully than Saiyans. If he has some wrinkles he would have looked cooler imo. Or those lines under the eyes at the very least. If the wish shortened his life & made his hair grow, it should have also showed that he aged. (Here's an edit I made of "Grampa Granolah." You're welcome)

And remember Vegeta destroying a pebble? Granolah can suddenly destroy big rocks! Cool right?! No? Its not cool? Showing Granolah destroy a much larger object right afterwards kinda belittles Vegeta's accomplishment.

Oatmil is surprised by a boulder exploding. This means one of 2 things. Oatmil is stupid & never saw an Granolah explode a boulder. Or it's implying that the boulder exploding is some technique Oatmil doesn't know of. Idk how he can tell its any different from just blowing up a rock with ki. I think it's supposed to be destruction energy. If it is then, ok. If getting his wish was so easy, then why can't he suddenly learn destruction as well?

Yay! Monaito! (This really should be a Namekian focused arc)

Granolah reminds me of Zamasu with his attitude a bit. Monaito tells him somebody stronger will definetly appear. Granolah has become like Vegeta and is over confident, so he is destined to get humbled. And think about this. Goku can probably train a bit and surpass Granolah within a week.

Granolah can now sense ki. Meaning he can have the destruction technique or UI, because why not?

Monaito blames himself for Granolah's actions. Its not your fault Monaito! You did nothing wrong! Dont be so hard on yourself.

Whis being a creep and peeping on people lol.

Granolah's hair growing was pointless because he cuts it off soon after. Nothing changed visually. This kinda reminds me of how Moro lost his arm. Goku gave him a senzu, Moro grew it back, & then Moro broke his arm when attacking Goku. Then Moro tore his arm off & reattached his old one. There was no need for Moro to grow his arm back then tear it off. Similarly, there is no need for Granolah to have grown long hair then cut it off.

Maki still brings a smile to my face. She & Gas stand out the most out of the Heeters. Maki's personality is kinda like Zangya combined with a teasing Bulma. Gas reminds me of a Krillin/Piccolo fusion with dreadlocks. I also ship Maki x Gas cause they're short and look cute together. (please don't be siblings so I can draw them together🤞)

Granolah fights Oil & Maki. I'm not impressed. They seem like they could be defeated by Chaoitzu (he's stronger than Raditz and probably Nappa now too). Granolah's movements could be seen as UI. If it is or isn't UI, it doesn't matter. Showing off that kind of power is like Goku using Ultra Instinct during a rematch with Nam or King Chappa. Its not effective storytelling. There had to be a better way of showing Granolah's new strength than making him fight opponents that give him zero challenge.

The art is good as usual and the panel flow is nice. Toyotaro is improving at creating the illusion of motion. The environment being used in the fight was smart and a good visual. Toyo still uses a ton of panels almost every page tho. But he's still a better artist than I am.

Granolah appears to have used Hakai again. Not the explosive variant but the sand variant (yes I think there are 2 ways of using Hakai).

Maki thinks the "Hakai" is magic so that's interesting. I would say I'd like for the next enemy to be a magic user but, we know how Moro turned out... 😓

Maki has "ki claws" & I like the idea but it would be better if she had used it against an enemy she can defeat. It doesn't make her look useful in this fight. Gas seems confident when he is about to fight Granolah, but Elec stops him. Gas would've gotten beaten but it make ya wonder what Gas can do.

Granolah appears to be a person that is easily manipulated and persuaded. He even gave information they weren't even asking for. He'll probably be easily convinced and manipulated by Freeza/the Hedters or quickly have a truce with Goku.

The Heeters plan to go to Planet Cereal to get the Dragon Balls. As I suspected, the Cerealian Dragon Balls were created so that it would be easy for wishes to be granted. Gathering 2 Dragon Balls on a nearby planet instead of gathering 7 on New Namek or Earth. Plus these new Dragon Balls ensures no interaction between Earthlings & Granolah/the Heeters. A perfect way to write Gohan & company out of the story... *sigh* 😔😒

We learn Cerealians live for 2 centuries. How's that compare to other races in Universe 7? Freeza & King Cold apparently can live more than 200 yrs, But that may be because they are mutants. Namekians can live for like 500 yrs & its possible for them to reincarnate themselves too. So in a way, Namekians can live forever. Saiyans stay youthful & live to be in their 80's, but rapidly age when they reach their 60's or 70's. Average Earthlings appear live to be in their 80's or 90's but some are over 100 yrs old (Dr. Briefs, Panchy, & Ox King are in their 90's in GT) and others can increase their lifespan through elixers or the Paradise Herb. Just some thoughts of mine.

Maki says "If he ices Freeza..." Ha, an ice pun. Elec wants to defeat Freeza so he can control his army. Its revealed they wanna kill Granolah & that they worked with Freeza to destroy his planet & race. Well... that more than likely means they're gonna die by Granolah's hand or Freeza's. This info is also an attempt to make the reader more sympathetic for Granolah. Granolah is too bland (pun intended) so I don't feel any more sympathy than I already had for him. Elec plans to make Goku & Vegeta fight Granolah since Granolah hates Saiyans. Smart but we all kinda expected it. Not bad writing tho.

The final panel talks about fate bringing the 3 (Goku, Vegeta, & Granolah) together. Sounds like a repeat of the Broly movie.

We've had 4 chapters in this arc & not 1 panel of Freeza... If Freeza doesnt appear & do something in the next chapter then I will be disappointed in the writing. Showing Freeza here and there would give tension and build up until we get the encounter with him. We also have no idea who Oatmil is. Is he an A.I. or a person? Not that big of a deal yet, but I would like to find out soon. Either show Freeza or tell us more about Oatmil next chapter pleaae

This chapter was like oatmeal (the food not the character) without butter, brown sugar, milk, & honey or raisins. Not bad, but not very good either. 

So here's my thoughts on the things that could or could not happen in this arc.

Goku vs Granolah. I don't care for the fight because the power is at a point that it doesnt make sense for enemies to get to without cheating somehow. The fight will look cool but I have no interest in it.

Vegeta vs Granolah will have Vegeta being stomped as always and Vegeta fans will make excuses & complain how it's not fair. A lot of Vegeta fans often make fun of Yamcha & Krillin for getting beat up even though those 2 bravely fight opponents leagues stronger than they are. Vegeta has gotten stomped by opponents more times than Krillin & Yamcha combined but the fans gotta deflect somehow. I don't care to hear or see the complaining again.

The interaction and dialogue between Granolah & Vegeta is going to be more interesting than their fight. But I worry because Toyo isn't the best at writing dialogue.

I have no reason to care about power growth, certain interactions, or Goku & Vegeta's training.

What I am curious about/want to see?

Monaito's well being. I want him to reunite with other Namekians. But I think he's been set up to die.

Lore about the dragon gods & Namekian lore we probably wont get.

I want Piccolo, Krillin, Gohan, & others will be involved. Piccolo because of the Namekian & wosh granting dragon lore. Gohan because his interaction with Granolah eould be interesting since Gohan is half Saiyan & views himself as an Earthling. Krillin & other Earthlings because they can bring tensions where characters like Goku & Vegeta can't. Those 2 are too strong for there to be any real tension. However Earthlings aren't all powerful so them using wits to survive is more exciting. But I doubt any of their involvement.

How long a Cerealian year is? Is it shorter than a Namekian year? How much time will pass for the Cerealian Dragon Balls to be active? How much stronger than Granolah will Goku get? Hopefully the answers aren't lazy...

Will Beerus finally fight somebody? There are 6 mortals that are near or above his power (Goku, Granolah, Vegeta, Broly, Freeza, Gohan).

Who's the villian of the next arc & what explanation is going to be given for them having power on the level of Angels? Angel tier fights don't sound interesting to me anymore. After those kinds of battles, Goku will have no challengers left.

Will Goku disappear to train or something so the story can TRY to match up with the EoZ?

Will Goten, Trunks, & Marron hit their growth spurts within 3 yrs?

Will we get spin-off manga about other characters? PLEASE!? 🙏

Also DBS moved too quickly when it comes to power. Now we're at the point that Goku & Vegeta need to stop being involved in fights for there to be any actual threat or tension. The Buu saga took place in AGE  774. After training for 4 years of peace, Goku thought SS3 & fusion was his limits as a Saiyan and he was right. Well, kinda... Goku was introduced to god ki near the end of AGE 778. Then in AGE 781, Goku masters Ultra Instinct... He mastered an Angel technique in 2 year or 2.5 yrs. That was waaaay too fast. As a result the storytelling & writing are suffering from this rushed progress. Now we're gonna have an Angel tier opponent? According to the pattern of DBS, Goku's gonna end up surpassing the Angels within 2 or 3 yrs after learning god ki. Thats not impressive for Goku, that's terrible writing. And no, Goku getting this strong so fast is not a benefit to Saiyans either. It just shows us that without god ki, Saiyans ain't all that powerful unless they're the legendary Saiyan like Broly. Saiyans didn't even have a concept of training until Goku was trained by Earthlings. Gohan, Freeza, 17, & I'm pretty sure Piccolo as well have all surpassed SS3 without the help of god ki. God ki makes Saiyans look like they have limits. With god ki, the writing is broken....

I got off topic again... Anyways that's the end of my review.

Hello! What do u think about the chances of rosegarden being canon? Personally I feel that currently Oscar's crush on Ruby is slowly growing more, he already admires her alot. As from Ruby it's pretty clear we are not at the stage of crushes ^^; , but she does care for Oscar which is great! I'm just wondering if there'd be a possibility of Ruby reciprocating Oscar's feelings? Like i wouldn't mind much if they don't become canon, its not all about the ships (maybe slightly heartbroken tho :'))

I’m hopeful anon-chan. This squiggle meister would definitely love a romance betweenour two honest souls but for now, I’m mostly just enjoying watching their bondgrow and blossom into something special. This is why I’m starting to favour theidea of Oscar sort of professing his love for Ruby by sacrificing himself toprotect her. If Ruby learns how Oscar really feels about her from the get-gothen we can get the opportunity to see Ruby slowly fall in love with someonewhich is something we’ve never seen from her. Sure watching Oscar gush overRuby, giving her all them soft side looks is adorable. However, to me I’m actually waiting on the moment when Ruby realizesthat Oscar might mean more to her than she realized.

An interesting way the Writers could writethe RoseGarden romance is if they have Oscar have a life and death experience that he comesback from and after that, he becomes very open with his feelings for Ruby. Hetells Ruby off the bat that he loves her but he doesn’t necessarily need her togive him an answer or return his feelings if she doesn’t want to. What Oscargenuinely wants is to be with Ruby. He wants to be by her side, watching overher, protecting her, getting to know her. From the moment Oscar met Ruby, he’sobserved that she is an important person on the team.

Even without Ozpintelling him his own insight on Ruby Oscar already knew she was a special personfrom the moment he laid eyes on her Silver Eyes. Oscar was already fascinatedwith Ruby from the start but through getting to know her as a person, he’s cometo understand that while she’s this strong and inspirational huntress, she’s alsojust as fragile and vulnerable as anyone else, despite them placing her on apedestal sometimes. Oscar wants to be a support to Ruby. He wants to be therefor her and do what he can to help her achieve their goal of protectinghumanity.

This is a something that I remembered seeingdone in the Hunger Games. In its second book and movie, CatchingFire, Katniss already knew how Peeta truly feltabout her. It wasn’t Peeta fumbling around trying to hide how he felt while itwas obvious to everyone else except his love interest. Nope. From the first film,Katniss was fully aware of Peeta’s love for her (she even took advantage of itfor helping the two gain brownie points with the sponsors and supporters fromthe Capitol when President Snow wasn’t buying into their star-crossed lovers charade).Part of what I liked and enjoyed about Pee-Nisrelationship was watching Katniss slowly fall for Peeta for him and how sheultimately came to see him as someone special and important to her to the pointthat she’s able to genuinely reciprocate his feelings in the end---well…beforehe got kidnapped and tortured but you get what I mean.

That’s something I wouldn’t mind seeing donefor the RoseGarden pairing if romance is in the cards. I would actually likeOscar to be very upfront about his love for Ruby but not in a way that makes itseem as if he’s forcing his feelings onto her. Oscar has always been more orless respectful of Ruby due to his admiration for her and I’d like to think that even ifhe did admit his love, he wouldn’t want her to feel uncomfortable around him like he’s demanding her to answer or even return hisfeelings.

No. Oscar just wants Ruby to know and understandhow he feels about her. As a person who’s expected to become someone else,Oscar would much rather spend his time having Ruby learn to like him for him.He doesn’t need her to love him back if she doesn’t want to. He’d actually bemuch more content if she just likes him forhim because he wants her to get to know him as the individual person she believed him to be.

Though so young, Oscar is actually more mature than he looks. So I feel like he’d showcase the same maturity when it cameto his feelings for another person. At least…that’s how I’d like to perceiveit.

I’d love to see Ruby get to know Oscar as himwhile also knowing how he feels, among other things and have that sort of playout. I know it’s an unorthodox way to writing a ship but it could beinteresting if done right. Plus I’m really invested in seeing Ruby fall in lovewith someone (particularly Oscar cause y’know he’s my first choice) or justdevelop a crush and see how the show will chose to portray Ruby coming to termswith her feelings and dealing with them.

I’m so used to seeing Ruby act like a fierceand valiant leader and handle mature responsibilities and problems on her roadto becoming a huntress and save the world that for once, I’d just like to seeher act like a teenaged girl worrying about boys and her looks/sex appeal tothe opposite sex. Themes that we’ve never seen done for Ruby.

I’m still salty that in all of RWBY, we’vehad Weiss, Blake and to some extent Yang have bits of romance or at leastmoments where they garnered the attention of the opposite sex or…both in termsof Blake. Ruby, not so much. In a group of four lovely ladies, I’ve alwayswondered how Ruby measured herself next to her teammates in terms of looks.Like does she see herself as being beautiful or pretty or does she try not tothink about that because she’s never cared about her looks or had reason to. I’mjust curious about that with Ruby.

This is why I have hopes for RoseGarden. Let’s bereal. Oscar is the first male character around Ruby’s age to give her that softgoogo-eyed look and I don’t think the Writers would introduce that if it wasn’tgoing to go somewhere, y’know what I mean? And let’s not forget that last season;you can almost say that the admiration and interest between Ruby and Oscar wasmutual since Ruby was the one who usually approached Oscar.

She hasn’t done much of it this season exceptfor that one time in V6 C4 but…I do think the Writers are setting up somethingwith these two kids.

I’d like to think that it’s going to be a romance but I’m stillgathering evidence on that. Personally I’ve mostly been enjoying the Writers slowlybuilding upon Ruby and Oscar’s friendship and how much they care and look outfor each other.

I loved how Ruby defended Oscar (and Ozpin) in V6 C1and how she even helped Oscar out during the Manticore fight. I loved how Oscarprotected Ruby from Ozpin in V6 C2 and how Ruby comforted Oscar in V6 C4. Iloved how when Ruby was distressed in V8, Oscar stepped up to help her. I lovedhow in C9, next to Nora, Ruby had one of the most animatedly excited reaction tosee Oscar safe and sound after he went missing. Seriously look at her little bounce of delight to see him. 

I loved how Oscar’s eyes lit up like aChristmas tree when Ruby complimented him about her new combat gear.

Heck I loved how when Ruby was looking alldistressed over her Grumple Qrow, Oscar was kind enough to give her words of reassurancelike the good support he is.

I just lovethese two Rosebuds in general and how they have each other’s backs! This is why I can’t wait for the finale. I have some RoseGarden theories for the V6 finale that I can’t wait toshare. But for now, what I’ll say is let’s just watch the budding Rosebuds bondcontinue to blossom and grow anon-chan. Because that’s part of the fun.

*screams theme music* 😂😂. I'm so happy and overjoyed that I could honestly cry! 😂. This season premiere has been so over hyped/talked about so much that I was just excited for the new season to just start already. Now that it has? I'm going to give you a little review on the episode 😉😁.

⭐ Archie Andrews 🙃....I mean..if you have been following my previous reviews from S2. You have noticed how much I've completely roasted the shit out of your boy for being completely blind and dimwitted to Hiram bullshit 👀😂. Cause S2 Archie? Was a very dark and frustrating time that should never be repeated again lmao.

But.... I DID feel a little sad for him this episode. Cause he is 100% not guilty (obviously) but by American court standards 🙄🙄🙄.aka with 0 evidence or eye witnesses to the murder the jury STILL had trouble coming up with a verdict 💀 it's laughable and sad to me that he is in jail and Hiram (who is a known crime lord and a prick) is still peacocking around the place a free man but... Whatever 😂😂😂😂.

⭐Hiram is a pussy and his gonna end up getting tripped on his lies and I'm gonna be there to put my leg out so he does 🙃.

So if we are all being rational and totally not gay here, Shego is Kim's parallel in the show, and it is canon that Shego likes Kim as a friend and appreciates her, which manifested as an older sister figure when her brain waves got switched (another example: what Shego could never say as evil), SO the pairing is incredibly appealing because they canonically have chemistry and can be taken seriously as characters and not complete idiots all the time; plus they often get themselves on moments that we all have seen as classic romance tropes especially spy/action stories, and if we all can have a dose of honesty here, if Shego were male the two would be shipped exponentially more, and their scenes would be romantic (example the one time Shego landed on Ron and the scene was used as a funny innuendo for comedic purposes). I digress.

Also Kim Possible is such a nice show that everyone is just shipped with everyone because why not (its like the Gintama of cartoons).

Also to drown out the chorus of theirs an age difference

3. Shego's age is unknown

5. If that Ezra dude can have sex on TV with a portrayed minor than bite me. Not to mention all the hundred of year old vampire dudes after teens, come on the age is clearly not the issue here.

6. Dr. Drakken is 10 to 20 years older than Shego's guessed age (vs her and Kim being 5 to 10 years apart) ...he's almost old enough to be her father for God's sake. There's an age gap there too.

7. Through out KP the characteristics of each character fluctuates and does not stay at one age and is not really relevant to the plot, most likely due to a lack of importance in the story.

KP is a cool show that is totally fluid with sexuality and so much fun it's straight and it's GAY

To those saying that I'm shaming Drakken/Shego a romance between consenting adults, I am shaming it a bit yes. I found it uncomfortable that they would be together since Shego, portrayed as having just graduated or about to graduate college is 22 and Drakken is as old as Kim's parents which places him at 40 that makes me uncomfortable versus a five year age gap. For me it's about the years. Which I have to actually begin to reavaluate bc I don't think it's as strange concerning lesbian/gay couples... Idek.

Fanfiction just makes Kim 18 so at that point idec and I'm cool with it 😂

I don't know if I like what the manga is doing with the eri story wise right now. Like, after the new chapter, if eri's quirk ends up doing what I think it does, it will probably be a huge loss for the manga story wise. (I love mirio and nighteye, but in this situation, to get them back this way, would probably feel like a huge cop out)

So, yeah, if Eri’s gonna fix it and avoid deaths and permanent damages all around I’m not gonna mind it one bit. I understand your position on this tho, and I’m pretty sure you’re not alone on it. I guess it’s about what you’re looking for in a story, and what the point the story means to bring across is to begin with - you say that having an all around positive outcome to this arc is gonna be a loss for the manga, but bnha isn’t snk. It’s not Tokyo Ghoul, or D.Gray-man, or any other story made to drive across the point that life is sad and sad things happen and you just gotta deal with it as best as you can. The general point of HeroAca, since the very beginning, is that luck exists! Things can turn out for the best! Look at it, our protagonist didn’t even have a quirk and now he’s got the best one out there. Literally became the successor to the greatest hero alive without doing anything aside from being a nice guy

I mean. I get why you’d wish for a... more real story, I guess. I get that you might like the angst and the realness of life being shitty and bad things happening and all that jazz. But that’s never been bnha’s point? Since the very start? Deku’s whole arc is turning into a fight to show you that you should never lose hope and that even set futures can still be rewritten - and, about that, there’s also how big part of this arc is still about Nighteye and what he saw in All Might’s future, and about Deku wanting to prove that he doesn’t have to die, so a girl that can literally rewind said future to make it go some other way? That’s exactly what you need to counter Nighteye’s quirk. Deku might talk about twisting fate all he wants, but considering how Nighteye’s quirk works and how precise and definitive it is, without something that can make what Nighteye saw happen just to bring it back and change it there was no way Deku could have done much.

As I said, I get why you’d be disappointed in the possibility of a total fix-it, but as far as bnha’s plot goes I don’t think the story’s gonna lose anything with simply keeping up the positive-to-a-naive-point look on life it has always had, if that’s what it decides to do. You might end up finding the story less good then you’d been expecting, but that’s because you were seeing bnha as a genre it has never even tried to be. This is still a story in which at some point holding hands saved the day, after all haha

What a question! And one I don’t have a proper answer to, actually - I like both of them equally but for completely different reasons? So generally I’m like, if I gotta pick one person for Jirou, basing the decision solely on canon stuff, I’m gonna pick Momo. On the other hand Jirou and Mina don’t really have a significant relationship in canon yet - they’re friends and chill together now and again, but haven’t really interacted much in a proper way for me to say “yes, I can see it, this is a ship with some serious foundation” like I can with Momo. But. I understand this ship in a way I can’t seem to manage with MomoJirou. What Jirou would love in Mina and what Mina would love in Jirou, why they’d love each other, how they’d spend their time together and what the general feel of their story would be - the mood of it and the reasons behind it, I understand them, and I can’t seem to manage to do that with Momo yet.

So the actual answer is, if it’s about which of the two gives me more of a “this might actually be canon” feel, then it’s Momo. I do believe they love each other and their relationship is lovely. But if it’s about which of the two I have more fun thinking about, then Mina. It’s two very different ships with very different moods, after all haha
