Hello! I've been relooking at all the RoseKnights stuff, and I gotta say, I am going to make an oc in your world! (If that's okay)

Anyway! I kinda wanted to ask a question that I didn't see answered yet!

May I please be enlightened with what colours are strong with what part of magic like is green or red really good at healing, or purple being the best at creating the most wood? That kind of stuff!

And bonus ask, how much can the green dragon dude (sorry I forgor their name) shapeshift? And what things can he not do?

The way my brain jerked wide awake and instantly kicked into Drawing Mode when I saw this ask was insanely trippy and also OF COURSE you can make ocs for the RK world!! If you want!!!! (that is more than okay! Anybody can do it if they are inspired!!!) BUT OKAY you asked the big question! So Allow me to enlighten you on the basic stats of the 7 major Rose colors!!

These aren't hard facts, they're just the common strengths and weaknesses found in every major color! Reds are the "perfect average", while Blacks and Whites are opposite ends of the spectrum. Every other color falls somewhere between those 3 tbh XD The lighter/paler color you are, the better your healing and magic production is! but at the cost of having much weaker wood that can't hurt dragons as much. If you've got a darker color, your weapons become more unbreakable but if you lose a limb or die you'll take a lot longer to regrow back to full health.

And here we have a bonus: Green Roses! Their magic is very unpredictable and nobody can judge how good you're gonna be in any skill if they look at your color/tone. Whether you got more Rose magic or Dragon magic is entirely random and each individual is different. As an example, George can shapeshift his height or teeth a little, and he can give his energy to others. He doesn't have any of the classic Rose powers. But other Green Roses might be able to create green wood or come back from the dead by themselves! SO YEAH!!!! I hope this was a good beginner's guide to Rose Magic! It's not perfect or final, but this is my current theory and I'm sticking with it! XD

Temple Redesign for Twiniverse fan project thingy

Since I'm redoing a lot of old pages, it's probably time to update the Temple Fusion. Considering it's just an Obsidian made with Rose, Pearl, Jasper, Peridot, and Lapis... and then I just took out Jasper's gem and added Amethyst and Ruby... that's kind of boring. She's beautiful imo but she's just not unique to Twiniverse.

Sooooo I'm going to be redesigning her. And her name will be Onyx, based on black onyx with white and golden markings. She'll have some kind of crown that has both Pearl and Peridot's gems... and I'm thinking of maybe making her somewhat... cryptid-ish? Like a mothman kind of thing but less... animalistic?

Anyway I'm telling y'all this because... I am not good at designing monsters lol. That's a big reason I didn't redesign Obsidian to begin with. Soooooooooo what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna ask you guys for ideas.

This is not a contest. There will be no prizes. But I WILL reblog every "entry" and show them off later in a livestream.

Just kind of a fun thing. I most likely won't choose any one design, it will just really help me solidify a design by having lots of new ideas from fans!

All you need to do is make a post with your ideas, which can be something you've drawn or just a bunch of reference pictures and a description of what you think Onyx would look like. She does NOT have to be based on Obsidian or the Twiniverse Obsidian. She also does NOT have to have any design components I mentioned above (the crown, the cryptid thing, etc). Just whatever you personally feel like the fusion would look like =)

@ me in the post and tag it 'twiniverse' and I'll add it to a list of all the ideas I've got! And when I start getting the feeling I've gotten an idea of what the final product will be I will do a livestream and feature all of the suggestions as I work on the concepts for Onyx.

And, just in case you want it, here's the OG Twiniverse Temple, but remember any design you might have does NOT need to be based off of this.

I just thought this all would be fun! Something to let people feel like they're apart of Twiniverse in some way. I understand that without prizes a lot of people won't want to join, and that's completely fine. I get it! And I won't be upset whether I get "entries" or not.

au writing shit idk

heres the Rough Plan for my first few eps:

ep1: the au branches off of canon in the final SU ep, Change Your Mind. renamed to Change Your World. when white yoinks the gem out of steven and pinksteven reforms and whiteasks W H E R E I S P I N K the response is something along the lines of "i am right here, but fuck you im not talking to you." (girlboss) and white gets the "im a child, what's your problem" and has the perfectionist meltdown, then steven's like "sorry but we gotta head out" and they're like "PINK WHAT THE FUCK?" steven goes "im not pink just leave earth alone" the gems agree and give steven The Legs™️.

pearl latches onto the idea that rose is still alive in there. (didn't write that tho just had it cut to this next bit oops) her and greg build a thing to connect to the gem that will essentially connect to pink/rose im just gonna call her rose damnit and allow her to communicate w everyone. shes like "...hey guys. uh. sorry for trying to kill myself i guess that didn't work but i have been minecraft spectating steven for the entirety of his existence with no ability to do anything but think and watch" pearl has a lesbian implosion, everyone's all happy n shit. steven eventually asks about the lying and she's like "yeag i done bad there. i just wanted to keep you guys together" (now that i think abt it there was no mention of bismuth here.. oops,) garnet gives her a Garnet Specil motivational speech and she's like "i missed you too garnet" (i forgot to mention, garnet violently explode-unfuses and ruby+sapphire are just bumbling with happy when rose spoke) amethyst has her own moment (she thought this was all bullshit and started playing fortnite upstairs but between games she heard rose and a p p e a r e d)

anyway rose then is thinking "oh man i gotta talk to so many ppl" and realizes eh guys nothing to worry abt just a HAPPY TO LISTEN, HAPPY TO STAY, HAPPILY WATCHING HER DR- but we should go there NOW" so they do, spinel is understandably distraught and breaks the gemspeaker in half but feels bad about it. she comes with the gang to earth, they show her around, a new gemspeaker is made and they reconcile. yippy! also spinel ate one of ALL. big donut flavors. sadie allowed this just for on e because steven is the LORD AND SAVIOR OF THE STEVEN UNIVERSE haha funny.

anyway she and bismuth talk. bis is kinda like "yeah i wasnt very gamer sorry about that herhee" again ignoring that SHE lied about the bubbling, conveniently forgot to explore that conversation for ease of writing and so i didn't need to go "how do i utilize my 2 iq points to channel these characters and get them to have a coherent, consistent to character conversation about this situation"

peri and lapis are called over by bismuth who doesn't say shit to them for the surprise. lapis is like "yeah ok hit me" peri is more curious. rose speaks, peridot fangirls and lapis is like "oh shit that's historically significant " peri is like "I NEED TO RESEARCH:)))" and runs off. spoiler: gem cloning

bis brings up the idea. rose is like "yeah that sounds legit" (the gem cloning conundrum took me way too long to understand. i drove my friend crazy. "hey can u explain every single quantum detail of this in the most verbose way i dont understand" but eventually i understood it JUUUUST enough to write it lmao i still don't get it)

rose n steven talk in roses room. all happy n shit. greg is told abt the plan and hes like oh shit i gotta clean up and steven is like "you know her standards. she don't give a shit" hes like "yeag"

peri makes progress! she made a little clump!! (explaining the gem cloning: theyre making essentially an empty gem with the powers but no consciousness inside. when its ready, white will take steven's gem out again, rose reforms, and the new gem gets ever so graciously stabbed into his belly where the old one was.)

peri tells steven its gonna take a year. he's like "well okay better than like hundreds of years" then he goes off to talk to the diamonds. he brings the speaker with. rose lets out the thousands of years of distrust and anger at the dismonds and they are humbled even more than when they got pinkd and rose is like "you WILL heal all the shattered ones i don't give a shit" and theyre like "whatever you say little one" (yes they do indeed heal the fallen. probably with regular shipments of steven fluid. that sounded wrong but im not a freak like that hes still 14)

also they go back home and steven talks to rose abt "you told the diamonds you literally wanted to die are you fr?" she explains and hes like YOU FATHERFUCKER, YOU ARE AMAZING AND YOU CAN'T DO THAT (crying)"

next episode is just year-long filler but i made it actually good by making it essentially a montage of lapis and peri in the barn becoming lesbian for eachother. finally, a controversial move on my part, they decide to overcome lapis's fear of fusion and fuse for stevens birthday. their fusion is turquoise (took way too long coming up with a fucking name) and can corrode (water + metal) and can morph/control metal (liquify n stuff. definitely not taken from a lapidot fusion concept i found on google images.) garnet is like "hey pearl look at these silly lesbians " pearls like "damn relatable" garnets like "yeag"

a week or a few after the bday, the gem is finally ready. everyone is excited until steven asks how this is gonna work. peri is like UHHHHH... 😊 and lapis is just "eh just take that one out, stick this one in!" peri goes NNNO- but after some damage control and telling everyone steven will be fine hes like "well i better get some good sleep then. big day!"

there's more but im done typing my fingers are about to go peridot and fuckin fly away let me know if you want the like 1other episode and the minisode after that

ummm someone tell me why listening to system/BOOT PearlFinal (3) from the SU Movie just gave me the wildest fucking Hazbin AU concept (this is fucking long pls forgive me)

So- Steven Universe Movie x Hazbin Hotel. All of them have just had their memories wiped, their 'default' personalities reset, and not having any idea who they once were. you get to really see what each character would have been like had they not faced whatever horrible thing landed them in Hell to begin with.

Going through that song in particular made me really think, guys. Hear me out.

Lucifer is Rose/Pink in this, so he wouldn't really be there.

Obv Charlie takes her rightful place as Steven, as she is literally, in almost all fucking ways, Adult Demon Steven Universe. Take out the aliens and add in the bible and you got Charlie Morningstar

Lilith is Pearl- She fell in love with the angel that took a liking to her, dedicating everything about her existence to Lucifer. Even when it came to giving up everything, she did it for him. Reset, she's just as dedicated but has no one to give that dedication to. Until...

Yes, ALASTOR HAS TO BE GREG. Lilith may have come from Eden with Lucifer, by his side from the very beginning, but after all those years, I never thought I'd lose... Also, the whole 'pearl latching on to greg as her new diamond' thing makes that EXTRA hilarious. Charlie's gonna be all "Mom, don't you recognize them? Don't you recognize me?" Lilith's overly helpful ass is gonna be like "Hmmmm... Well I certainly recognize my Um Radio Demon!" And Al just, "...Oh boy."

Angel is Ruby, even if he hadn't been raised in the mafia, I'd like to think that Angel would be a solid badass mf either way, dedicated to protecting what he cares about.

Husk is Sapphire, ever think that maybe the reason the oddly wise bartender always seems to know everything isn't because he's a bartender? Uh oh, secret's out, Husky. (not to mention the idea of Huskerdust 'isn't it love' is killing me)

Niffty is Amethyst- except an amethyst is big, and strong... this one is not the best example, something is clearly wrong! (im sorry i have no self control). anyway yall can't tell me that cute little reset 'who am i? whats going on? idk, lemme just copy this guy over here' Niffty wouldn't be the best fucking thing

Now, I don't think it even needs saying that Sir Pentious needs to be Peridot, if you show me both of their pictures I will say 'that's the same picture'

And that means Cherri takes her role as Lapis, which I fuckin adore

As much as I'd like to make Vaggie be Connie, Connie is entirely absent the whole movie lmao and I also think that Bismuth is a damn good gem for Vaggie anyway. Bold, determined, has a deadly hatred of the place she came from and will do anything to defend her new home (gay as shit)

And for spinel, I'm not 100% sure. I'm thinking it could be an adamsapple situation where Adam was left in Eden, forever waiting for Lucifer to return despite the fact that he's essentially dead to the rest of Heaven. once he finds out about Lucifer having made a life for himself in Hell, he goes to take out his jealousy on Charlie and the others. and when he's reset he goes back to a silly, fun loving innocent guy that wants nothing but to make others happy.

Uhhhh oops that got long, im Very Normal about these two shows, guys. i swear.

Ok, before we start, there're some things you need to know for sure, what do you want to keep? For instance, are you going to keep the "Rose Quartz is secretly Pink Diamond" thing? Because if you do, Pearl can't belong to her and if you change it, she can.

I'm gonna give you my version where she isn't. Yet I'll try to use what's already in the show, although with some changes.

So, you start the story the same way, Steven fights monsters that invade Beach City, goes to missions, learn to use his powers, blah blah blah. But then, he meets Lapis.

The gems reveal that the monster they've been fighting used to be gems before the war corrupted them and turned them into monsters and that they thought Lapis was a Homeworld soldier and that's why they didn't want to release her.

After she flies away to Homeworld, a series of episodes happen revealing that Rose Quartz was not that great of a person as everyone said she was and who they were fighting against.

First, a few episodes related to the war, accompanied by some episodes fighting monsters where Steven is hesitant to fight them now that he knows that they used to be gems. Then, there's Rose's Scabbard followed by Bismuth. Monster Buddies goes somewhere around here too. A modified version of The Answer, where Garnet tells instead the story of how she met Rose back when she was a runaway gem escaping from Homeworld. Also, Lion 4: Alternative Ending could work here. We Need To Talk comes next. Storm The Room right before the season finale. And you end the season with the reveal that Rose shattered Pink Diamond.

The idea is to make Steven develop a more realistic image of his mother, instead of the idealized version everyone has been given to him so far. And to make him question whether they are really the good guys as the Gems say they are.

And also to accelerate his development overall. Like, yeah, he's a kid and he shouldn't be told literally everything because there are thing he can't comprehend yet. But Lapis changes everything. Uncertainty is in the air, he needs to know as much as possible.

Season 2 would start with The Message. And the first quarter will be an arc preparing for the arrival of Peridot, Jasper and Lapis.

So, the episodes will go like Warp Tour, Marble Madness - maybe with the addition that they figure out beforehand that it's Peridot the one sending them and maybe this time they don't reveal themselves to her. It's not that important, really, but I think it would be better if they don't in this version. And then, The Return and Jailbreak.

So, the rest of the season is dedicated to find Malachite, to catch Peridot and to deal with the aftermath of Jailbreak.

This is where the episodes related to the characters' relationships are. Full Disclosure, Joy Ride, On The Run, Maximum capacity, Mr. Greg, Last One Out Of Beach City and the arc of Garnet and Pearl's fallout, Cry for Help, Keystone Motel and Friend Ship.

And right after that, the season ends with the entire Peridot arc, from Catch And Release to Gem Drill.

The point of season 2 is to prepare them for what's to come. Because they ain't getting a break in season 3 and 4.

Season 3 is where Homeworld starts to re-invade Earth, because they want more humans for the zoo before the planet explodes. Although, they don't know it won't. The Rubies, Aquamarine and Blue Diamond, all show up to cause chaos and also Jasper returns to fight some more.

In the finale, Steven goes to the space station to free the kidnapped people and the humans that were already there from the zoo; Lars dies and is revived as a pink, space pirate; Steven stays on the station with an army of Amethysts and Rose Quartzes, the Crystal Gems and Lars and goes to Homeworld to end this once and for all.

By now, I've made such a huge turn that naming the episodes that are related to this version is rather pointless. But I hope you can see where I'm going with this.

Season 4 is

STEVEN

IN

SPACE!!!

Where Steven goes form planet to planet, building up his army, starting rebellions, befriending off-colors and seeding the idea of liberation his mother propagated back in her times before the war.

At the end, they fight Blue and Yellow and lose, but in all this, they meet Yellow's Pearl who reveals them that Pink Diamond was part of the rebellion the whole time! Dum dum duuuuuuuuuummmmmm!!!!! And that Pearl knew the whole time! Chan chan chaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!!

Ok, maybe not. But it would make for an interesting season 5.

A revelation like that would fracture the Crystal Gems. We could get back to Earth for a bit, reform the alliances, unite forces with Jasper, fill up the wholes in the story and go back to space for a second round with the Diamonds and defeat them this time.

So, how was Pink part of the rebellion? Here's the story: Back in the times of the colony, when Rose fell in love with the Earth, protected off colors in secret, was in an actual relationship with Pearl, who was Pink's Pearl at this point and gave gems ideas of living as how they would like to live; Rose presented her case to Pink and she, as the benevolent dictator she was, wanted to help her to accomplish her goal of living free in Earth, her colony. But after it turned out to be impossible, Rose started the rebellion alongside Pearl and Pink helped them from behind the scenes, sending weaker troops, giving the Crystal Gems crusial information, gifting Rose with Diamond-like powers, hoping the other Diamonds would let her call it a loss. But that never happens, on the contrary, Homeworld is doubling down on suppressing the rebellion.

With no other escape, Pink sacrifices herself knowing this will make the end of the war on Earth. But nobody expected the curroption light that came after.

With this information at hand, Steven and the Crystal Gems defeat Yellow and Blue, who see the error of their ways and order to stop the fighting in all of their colonies.

They warn Steven that it won't be truly over until White Diamond is dethroned and that, no matter how many gems they have, it won't be enough to defeat her, unless they help.

The movie would be about that. Fighting White Diamond, ending the Diamond Era. Yellow and Blue go on exile to find themselves or maybe die a redeeming death in the fight or one dies and the other leaves forever. And all of the empire is put in a state of anarchy and civil wars trying to fill the power vacuum that the gems will have to help solve throughout season 6. A happy ending for everyone. Except for Yellow, who dies 2/3 of the times.

Option 2 is switching season 4 and 5 around. Steven doesn't go to space, rather he goes back to Earth and helps with the problems that are there, like a whole bunch of new humans who have nowhere to go, don't know how to live outside the zoo, no one to help them and the monsters, the fusion shards and Jasper are still around.

The season ends with a fight between the Crystal Gems and the Diamonds, who reveal that that the only reason they curropted gems, kept the Cluster project and the human zoo was because of the pain caused by the loss of Pink Diamond. But Pearl reveals them that Pink Diamond was just the worst. Like, Homeworld was already really bad and oppressive, but Pink took the cake. She was like a brat kid with unlimited power over others in her hands and used it to abuse everyone she led. The Diamonds, baffled by this, forgive the Crystal Gems and allow them to live freely on Earth, in exchange for ending the war. But then, White Diamond intervenes remotely, does something awful, like destroying all of Blue's and Yellow's colonies, or something more tame, like taking them away for herself; and now The Crystal Gems and the Diamonds must join forces to defeat White, her forces and everyone who is still loyal to Pink, like Jasper.

So, this season 5 would be a preparation for that. And an opportunity to detour and get on track with the relationships with the characters in a way more focused and not serving to an overarching narrative.

The season ends the same way the movie would in the other version. Except that Steven is not taking responsability for anything that's going on outside the Earth. That's what Lars is there for.

And that's all I got so far. In the end, it's important to keep these questions in mind at all times:

What is this show about?

Where do I want it to go?

And what's the point to all of this?

The reason the first version goes so far (get it!?), is because, at Pink being one of the good guys, Steven has to surpass her as well. While in version 2 he only has to surpass his mother. It has to do with what the rebellion was trying to accomplish, to free the Earth or the Gems.

Rewriting Steven Universe

It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for the longest time now. But there are so many problems with this show that I can’t find a starting point. I have plenty of ideas that are floating around in my head, and I don’t wanna rewrite every episode individually or anything, just the main plot and how things end up going, kind of ignoring non-relevant episodes or filler even if they may be there in my (ideal) version of SU.

Do any of you have idea on where I should start tackling the story?
