I have a theory that Tom Taylor copied/took a lot of inspirations from Dickkory.
I may or may not be wrong but I just can't help but notice the timing and the similarities. A lot of things in dickbabs relationship are not very original at all. Most of the time they just steal concept from other couples.
Now going back to Tom, I suspect he was in a lot of social media apps (twitter, reddit, instagram etc) and secretly lurked in nightwing fandom groups and have read their posts and conversations etc. including about dickkory.
1. The concept of visiting his parents' grave
This panel of Kory and Dick showing up in his parents graveyard was shared in the Nightwing subreddit 1 month ago. How come 1 month later Tom wrote a similar thing for Dick and Babs?
Also notice Dick told Kory "You shouldn't be here" but Tom wrote Dick telling Babs "Thanks for coming here" it seems to me Tom really saw the kory comic and wanted to make the dialougue different for dickbabs to make them look better.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. The concept of wearing each other's superhero costumes.
This fanart of dick and kory exchanging costumes was created by Laurarts on March 4, 2024, it went viral on twitter and it was also shared on the nightwing subreddit.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How come 1 month later Tom Taylor wrote that Dick and Babs wear each other's costumes too in Nightwing #113 that was published in April 17, 2024. 💀.
3. The concept of being freaky
Now my suspicions of Tom stalking and copying Dickkory content was solidified when he literally posted this gif of Dickkory from the DCAMU, notice how Dick and Babs started acting horny and freaky in his run after he tweeted this and Babs started teasing Dick and making sexual jokes to him like Kory does to Dick in the dcamu. 💀💀💀
Tumblr media
4. The concept of A crowd of heroes watching them.
I remember a year ago I posted this screenshot of an article discussing the original plan for dickkory in reply to a thread where Tom Taylor got tagged by the person i was talking to. The person was a dickbabs shipper who insisted NTT dickkory was bound to fail, I told OP it's not true, i showed her this screenshot of the article that discussed the original wedding plan for dick and kory and where it also says a crowd of heroes would watch Dick and Kory. How come a few months later Tom Taylor wrote this dickbabs wedding scene in his run and made a crowd of heroes watch dickbabs too??? 💀
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Wally being a shipper
This panel of Wally in Teen Titans Academy #9 being a Dickkory shipper was published in December 14, 2021, how come a few months later, Tom Taylor wrote Wally being a dickbabs shipper in Nightwing #91 (April 19, 2022). Wally felt ooc because he never once talked about dickbabs before tom wrote him in his book💀
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6. The concept of a woman teaching Dick to be more than just a hero
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Seriously, Kory already taught him this 😭 She was literally the reason why he didn't become a Batman 2.0, He already learned the whole "you can be more than just a hero and be in a happy relationship" lesson from Kory.
But Tom Taylor just had to bring him back to square 1 so he can make Barbara say this to him too, making her act like Kory 💀 it's funny cuz Barbara never acted like this before, don't forget she was the one who keep rejecting him and making him feel bad for trying to be happy before 💀💀💀
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So yeah sorry if i'm being annoying about this, I might be wrong but even if i'm wrong it still doesn't make dickbabs original since dickkory writers and fanartist did these concepts first.
and tom taylor is known to be an obsessed dickbabs shipper who tried to have beef with dickkory shippers on twitter so copying dickkory content as a form of secret revenge sounds like something he would do 😬

Season 4, Episode 14 - Sentibulleur (Sentibubbler)
Tumblr media
I just seen the episode today, because I wasn't looking forward for another Alya-centric one, I'm already sick of it. I did it only now when have more free time. It's the first time, since I'm a Miraculous fan, when I'm starting watching a completely new episode without feeling even a bit of excitation. I'm not gonna lie that I enjoyed it, I don't, because it's not my cup of tea. This is why this post is more about why I dislike Alya favouritism than Sentibubbler itself. But I need to clarify that I didn't enjoy the episode mostly because of personal taste, I'm not trying to say it's "objectively" bad (though opinions are never objective, only facts could be). If you love Alya's arc, it's completely understandable that you probably love this episode as well.
I thought it would be a DjWfi episode (to be clear, I haven't seen any trailers of it, only one screenshot, which was said to be from this episode, but I don't remember seeing that moment in it at all, and the ending card), but poor Nino was just a background character. This is literally an "Alya is amazing" episode in which she is saving the world with a very little help of Ladybug and even less of Chat Noir, who is treated more like an offending trash. After watching it, I see fan edits like that are even more accurate to describe season 4 (not made by me, I just stole it from Cartoon Apocalypse's video).
Tumblr media
Adrien was supposed to be a deuteragonist and a second main character, but Alya is much more like ones than Adrien has ever been. He has never gotten as many episodes focusing on him as much like those with Alya in a season (and we can be sure, it's not the last one) and he has never be as much the main hero in a fight against villains in any of them. Instead of giving him more screentime, he's putted even more in the background than before, because Alya needs to shine. Why they can't do it without treating Adrien that much unfair? I'm not gonna hide that I hate it and it makes me feel that maybe I should stop watching the show, since it looks like it's not something I really enjoy anymore. Adrien is my favourite character, so I'm really pissed of that Alya is stealing his role. We will see, but once I will be sure that Alya favouritism is gonna last forever, I would consider stopping watching the show seriously. Especially that doesn't go hand in hand with good writing. In this episode nothing as much absurd like in Optigami happened, but I still have one big issue.
It's not a problem with Alya herself. I'm used to like her, even if she's been annoying me sometimes before S4. But I don't know what to think about her this season, since I have some issues with her writing. I just don't like the idea of as much favouritism any of the characters who are not the original main ones, especially if Adrien is treated that bad by the writing at the same time. I would say the same if it was Kagami, who is my third favourite character in the show, after Adrien and Plagg. As you see, I like the Japanese girl even more than Marinette, but I still don't think that making her more important than the protagonist would be okay (it would make no sense, but you know what I mean).
Besides, I've seen people speculating that Alya is going to fuse the fox with ladybug Miraculous in an episode in which Marinette is akumatised (if one will ever happen). Don't you see how much unfair to Adrien/Chat Noir it is? Alya is already getting much of special treatment, more than a character who was supposed to be the next most important one after the current Guardian of the Mother Box. An episode with Marinette as an akuma should be the one in which Chat Noir is saving her without help of any other heroes, just like she has saved him alone in Chat Blanc. If there was a fusion of the fox and ladybug, it would mean that's not a story mostly about Marinette and Adrien anymore. It would make it clear that the writers are not even try to hide the fact that's now it's Alya the second most important character. Adrien could be the third one at best, Chat is only a sidekick of the Ladies, not really a hero equal to Ladybug anymore. Besides, episode like that is most probably the only chance to see Tikki using her power without a wielder. Wouldn't it really interesting to see what bad happens when Tikki is using Lucky Charm all by herself?
And to be fair, this season has really way too much Alya generally, I'd like to see more other heroes, not just Rena Rouge and Rena Rouge over and over again. I want more new Miraculous wielders and since Ladybug is calling the old ones (though she definitely should not do it), I want to see them in action too. We need to get a full transformation sequence of Ryuuko at least once. But the more episodes they are released, the less I believe it would ever happen. Good thing that they found few seconds to show Chat's sequence (only a second time in 10 episodes!), but still no Cataclysm. I wonder if they are even going to show it after season 3.
Tumblr media
I have no idea what writers are planning to do. If they're want Alya to be a permanent Miraculous holder who is treated like co-guardian by Marinette forever, why they write her that way? Why isn't she really noble and careful? Why all those red flags she's giving Marinette (those she always ignore anyway): like letting Mr. Ramier know that Ladybug's the Guardian now, though she asked her to keep it as a secret, or stealing a Miraculous that almost made Ladybug's identity exposed. Are any of those events be relevant later? Are they there to show that saying Alya everything about the Guardian things and giving her the fox Miraculous permanently are bad decisions? If yes, what's the purpose of Sentibubbler? This episode doesn't seem to be really significant, it's more like another one fan service for Alya stans. The previous ones were actually important, this one could be missed without much a loss for the plot. The only reason it could be seen as significant is to make Marinette letting her guard down even more. But isn't she extremely careless already? After revealing her identity, she immediately started to tell Alya all the Guardian secrets, gave her a code for the Miracle Box, as well as the Miraculous permanently, despite her identity being exposed and all the wrong things she has done. Marinette is already dealing completely reckless with Alya, there's no reason to make her even more. Besides, that dream can't be a prophetic one, right? I remember that adult Bunnix really believed that exposing Ladybug's identity is something what Alya is able to do (from her time at least), but I think it's impossible to happen in real. That's why I see this episode as the most "fillerish" from all of this's season those have been released till now. Other ones introduced new characters or Miraculous wielders at least, nothing really new and crucial happened in this one. There's nothing bad in fillers, but why another Alya-centric one? Why not focusing on a character who hasn't been favoured this season instead?
Tumblr media
The most stupid thing in this episode is that Rena Rouge made an illusion in which Ladybug says that she won't give the Miraculous to her anymore, for two reasons. One is that Gabriel bought that very weak lie without questioning it at all. It's clearly a plot armor. I know that they tend to make Gabriel very dumb when they need it from the beginning, but it's extremely stupid even to him. Hey, Gabriel, you know Rena Rouge's identity for some time now and Ladybug has been already giving Rena the fox few times before after her identity being exposed. Why that sudden decision? Isn't it suspect? Second is that it's been portrayed as a clever thing, while it makes Alya unable to be Rena Rouge anymore, if they don't want to show to Shadow Moth that was a lie. I'm not talking only about the battles, Rena can't be seen in public, since Ladyblog is not the only place which is showing content about the heroes. So then there's no reason for Alya to keep the fox anymore. Unless I interpret it wrong, and Marinette doesn't think it would make Gabriel stop going after Alya. But to me it looked like that and that's also make Marinette dumb anyway, because she is still unable of seeing how dangerous it is for her best friend. Alya's plan worked once, but it doesn't mean it would work again, once he discovers the lie, it would make him even more suspicious of a bond between Rena Rouge and Ladybug. Marinette is risking not only safety of Paris and the whole world, but also safety of her best friend. Why everyone is able to see that obvious thing, not only the girls but also all of the Kwamis? I'm not going to change my opinion that they are dumbing down all the characters who are involved in it and that's just bad and lazy writing.
And where's Su-Han when he's needed. I've been working on the English subtitles for the French dubbing of Furious Fu recently and now I remember that he said that he's going to observe Marinette and take the box from her is she makes a slight mistake. She's keeping making bad decisions, but he still isn't showing. That was a lie? Because if he doesn't see anything wrong in how's Marinette is dealing with her guardian duty, I'm gonna to lose the rest of my faith in the writers.
--------
I'm so sorry. I wanted to be active on Tumblr at least a bit after seeing this episode, but I still don't feel motivated. It's painful to say that season 4 is mostly a disappointment to me, especially that I hate the biggest story arc of it.

im sorry you weren't treated well in some fandoms. I hope that the next season of Overlord comes out to refresh you!! 👐
I'm sorry this sat in my inbox for a time, anon. I... really wasn't sure how to answer it, but I dunno. I guess reaching my wit's end here, I'll speak out a bit.
I also kinda hate I've been encouraged (both by myself and others) to be quiet, but no. Drama shouldn't be silenced if you're the one being directly/ indirectly harassed and stalked.
This is... this is intense. I've never known someone to be this insane before and then have people support said person thinking 'she's a good person deep down'. Yeah, manipulative people are like that. They say and do things to make you believe they don't have a gun ready to shoot and kill somebody that isn't flattering them.
Ignore the stuff below if you don't want drama, but I will eventually post screenshots of all the info I have with timestamps and all anybody needs to see my side of the story in a public google docs.
But please, do NOT go out of your way to flame and harass this person. Just leave them alone. Seriously. That's not what I'm trying to get across with this. This person just wants an engorged ego, and it shows. I'm just explaining my side, because--fuck man. It hurts enough. I've done nothing to you, but you still wanna be this creepy...
For those who don't know or weren't made aware: I was (and still am at times) being stalked by someone who got very, very angry that I wrote a story similar in concepts but vastly different in delivery than their fic. They made it a point in their older fic to spit on anybody who dared write characters a certain way (the loving/powerful Supreme Being was oh so cliché and dumb in her eyes), and then when I came along to basically be identical to her in how I enjoyed writing Demiurge with a human character, I was somehow 'stealing' from her.
That person is—well—I cannot say directly, but you can look in Contract's Chapter 4 reviews to see everything you need to. (And I have that all screenshot on my hard drive as well as her 'bad past' she insisted I deleted because of 'anon hate' she got, so yeah.)
Flames erupted and accusations... all while she was pretending to be my friend and on my side on Tumblr.
It was abhorrent. I was new, dipping my toes into the fandom only to have my first Overlord fic be attacked by her and then have my Amnesia fic have her glare at and say it was a 'spite-fic' (because...only her character can have amnesia/memory problems, I guess??) Which... I have screenshots of my Amnesia fic's origins dating years back when I was very into the game Amnesia: A Dark Decent—Lilyodin's name included—to where she didn't even have her fic(s) posted. 2014, if you want to know the exact year. Hell, Contract's earliest conception is marked on Instagram where I began my comic Dancing with the Devil. Her fic came out in early February 2020 if I remember right. She claims to have begun it on another site, but never tells anybody what that site is called, because… lies. And even then, how would I steal from her when I don’t know where the hell that fic is located to begin with?
She can claim it wasn't her, but the irony is she eventually unbookmarked Contract and, shortly after, I got another flame. The moment I made a vague threat towards her on my Tumblr, she blocked me, ran and tried to approach people she thought could protect her from my more outspoken behavior. When she did this, all flames stopped. (Though, glad to know all I have to do is mark flames as spam, and AO3 deals with it).
She rewrote her story into a ‘reader insert’ though, really, it was her OC Lilith, and then made 40 dummies to boost her numbers. Some of them were ironically made with specific likes around times I was reblogging or answering a specific ask about something on my Tumblr to show she was block circumventing and spying on me. The icing on the cake was her taking anons on my fics and using their usernames on her new fic story to boost her comments and pretend she had my anons. Whenever I would update Contract, I was told she was updating on top of me shortly after—always. I was told by friends she seemed to do this late last year (2020), but I chose to ignore it till earlier 2021 where I caught her doing it... twice (and besides, she confessed that’s what she was doing to a person between us so yeah–she cannot lie her way out of that one). Even as we're now in two different fandoms, she still goes out of her way to unironically update about the times I do, because we (of course) share the same tags. The girl is just... something else. She can claim that's me being paranoid, but given how often she goes out of her way to 'magically do (X) thing' like I do, yeah... how can I NOT be and how can I trust her?
What further made me almost hit the 'fuck you, I'm calling you out’ post was when I wrote to my original Naga story where I put Zul'te. She saw some of the tags, saw the insane boost in kudos and bookmarks, how shocked I was people loved it in one chapter, and she took some of the tags to mirror them. Honestly, she was confused and furious I somehow got tag surfers where Contract was concerned. Seriously, I would say 80% of my readers on Contract aren't Overlord fans, so she tried to mimic what I did to gain that attention too.
All she wants is people's love and support. Nothing else. Her actions there show this. It was... gross. Whatever she can do to try and stay near me like a damn shadow and try to boost her numbers and flatter her ego, she'll do it. (Hell, she's still doing it apparently).
She was warned she's not safe from me—that I do literally have a whole folder full of her nonsense to show my side of the story. From the indirect accusation of me 'stealing from her' before I got the anon accusation on my fic, to her updating on top of me, her dummies, her crappy comments before we told her that wasn't cool to say about people (sad we gotta smack her hand and tell her 'no' before she realizes something isn't cool to do...), the aggressive things she said to the prior writers she tried to chase out, to her tags added to reflect mine, the works.
That was the only thing that has kept her at bay...but only for a few months, and then she was back on her shit, apparently. And, sad to say? That folder is never getting destroyed. She can pray my PC has a malfunction but I got a backup hard drive with those screenshots. It's never going away.
With all of this? I hope to the gods she gets better. I don't know what's going on in her life, but a lot of what she says she is about—I found it all to be fake. She made the trails all too easy. She's not as clever as she thinks she is.
But by god... I want her to just move on and away from me already. I know her constantly mimicking the things I say and do are her trying to take back whatever power she thinks I stole from her, but I stole nothing. If I was inspired by someone or something, I sure as hell am going to tell people. I'm not ashamed of that.
Even in the new fandom she's apart of? I was made aware of that she basically copied my other Tumblr name for a fic of hers... only changing one word, and that's... yeah. Creepy as fuck.
But because of all of this, it made writing to Overlord (Contract and Amnesia especially) very hard. I feel like if I deleted them, she'd be happy and fuck off all ready. But no. I'm never going to give her what she wants.
She's psychopathic, and I don't know why people defend her but. Eh. Whatever.
I've been doing my best not to let her chase me out of what I love doing. That's for damn sure.
I will still write and enjoy Overlord. That'll never stop.

Powerpuff Girls 2016 - The Top Title Cards
One of the artistic choices the show makes is its use of unique title cards. On one hand, the reboot's title cards lack the punch of the original's. The original had the Powerpuff Girls flying, making. In the reboot, it's lumpy text with some drawings surrounding it with some soft ambient techno over it. On the other hand, the reboot lacks the punch of the original, so they fit perfectly.
One improvement I can see with these title cards is the variety. The originals do not have pictures, it's just white text on black background. The reboot has these works of art for each episode. I don't hate the original's title cards, far from it, but I couldn't rank them. Just for fun, I’m going to rank my top favorite title cards of PPG 2016. These will be ranked based on if they fit their episode and whether or not they look great.
10. The Trouble With Bubbles
Tumblr media
Out of all the Bubbles coding episodes, this is my favorite one. While the title is actually kind of generic, it does show that this is an episode where Bubbles codes a clone of herself and prints it with a 3D printer. The title is even laid out in a way similar to Scratch, a beginner's programming language that the Powerpuff Girls even had a tie-in with at one point. It's a little more literal than something abstract or symbolic, but it works.
9. The Secret Life of Blossom Powerpuff
Tumblr media
Yes, they actually believed that the Powerpuff Girls' last name should be Powerpuff in Season 1. Let's ignore that, as that's one of the few aspects they did change their mind on in Season 2. I like this effect of Blossom getting split into two different versions of herself, one in a Victorian dress, and the other as an astronaut. This does perfectly show what this episode is going to be about: Blossom imagining herself as different versions of herself much like Walter Mitty.
They had to leave out one Blossom for this title to look good. Honestly, I would have went with the breakdancer Blossom, as it would have been a contrast between the elegant Victorian Blossom. The astronaut Blossom still works as a "Past vs. Future" contrast, and the cynic in me also notes that they are also the low points of the episode.
8. The Tell Tale Schedulebot
Tumblr media
Maybe I'm going for more of how it looks rather than what it represents. The title references a horror story, and, while it's not exactly a reference to the original story, the title card represents a horror theme. Yes, Schedulebot seemingly rises from the dead in one of the very, very few times they referenced plots from previous episodes, and the title card shows it as this zombie rising from the dead. They put this title card in this artsy cloud-esque smudge, with lightning inside of it, which adds to the effect.
7. Once Upon A Townsville
Tumblr media
The episode's idea is that it's a Disney-esque princess in a modern day world. I did not get this at first, thinking this was just a generic city. I didn't even notice the little circle around it, which is supposed to represent that part of the logo where Tinkerbell flies around the Disney castle in an arc.
I think the less said about Once Upon A Townsville, the better, so let's move on.
6. Save The Date
Tumblr media
Not all of my favorite title cards are graphically complex, as this one is pretty simple: just Ms. Keane and a really, really big shadow. The obvious meaning comes from how Ms. Keane turns into a giant in this episode. I can't help but see another meaning in this, referring to the other plot of the episode that is intertwined with.
Ms. Keane is on her first date with some random dude, and she is not confident about it. She can't walk in high heels, she has a zit that we thankfully never get to see, and she's late! Maybe I'm looking too deep into this, but I'll still rank it this high.
5. Breaking Bliss
Tumblr media
Also known as part four of the Power of Four, which is actually five parts long. Each part of the Power of Four has a standalone version, complete with its own unique title card. This is the only special to get this treatment; Small World just uses that magic hat for every episode. Outside of Find Your Bliss, which just has the title on 3D glasses, they're all pretty good. I even like Bliss Reminisce's title card, with. I decided to choose only one, and it was a tough pick between this one and Blisstersweet Symphony.
In the end, I went with this one, which is a good representation of the episode. Bliss is utterly broken inside in this episode, and the title card puts that in a symbolic way that looks aesthetically pleasing. The only real problem with this one is that the text seems to be put as an afterthought. Granted, this title card never aired on US TV; Power of Four only aired as a special, and that only came with a rather generic title card of four Powerpuff Girls flying.
4. Power Up Puff
Tumblr media
Rather than outright showing the aura powers that were the star attraction to this episode, this episode focuses more on how Blossom seems to be overshadowed by her sisters. I do like the idea behind this one; Blossom is just way in the background while her sisters do these poses.
I will say the drawing is a bit awkward here. They forgot Buttercup's all-important cowlick, which is shockingly common in title cards. so it's a little bit lower than another episode that has a similar idea.
3. Bubbles The Blue
Tumblr media
Well, this episode seems to rank high in any PPG 2016 list I would make. Bubbles is sitting down, looking sad, while her sisters are very tiny. I would say it represents their understanding of the episode's situation, and not in a way that can be blamed on bad writing. This episode's title card is very similar to the last entry in this list. Honestly, I would have had this in a tie.
Also, they actually remembered Bubbles' pigtail bubbles. That doesn't look like Blossom or Buttercup, though. That looks like a wrapped peppermint and one of those Ring Pops. I can still see what they were doing there.
2. Can't Buy Love
Tumblr media
One of the more artsy title cards. They could have just had a cupcake, but instead, we get this romantic shot under the moonlight. One may have to ignore the participants here. If it is your thing, that's fine, but I don't think a lot of people would have wanted BarryBucks. The joke is that's the case even in-universe.
This episode is about Princess believing this fantasy this title card seems to portray. Everyone else around her isn't even aware of this, including the hunk-in-her-eyes-and-only-her-eyes Barry. Since this episode is from her perspective, the title card decides to use a shot from her perspective.
1. Salamander
Tumblr media
There's absolutely no way this title card wouldn't be #1. Just look at that volcano's majesty. The detailed lines, those two trees that give the title card more body, and that sculpt of the villain's face. This volcano lair looks like something straight out of those 80's cartoons with the over-the-top bad guys, which is exactly what they were going for with this episode's lead villain. This one is a work of art, plain and simple.
I'm not going to do a Bottom 10, because most of the bad title cards can be summed up as "yup, that's an X", with maybe some text put in as an afterthought. I will do a bottom 3, though.
3. Man Up 3: The Good, The Bad, and the Manly
Tumblr media
One thing I didn't really notice is that they did remove the wacky inflatable tube man from the second Man Up. They didn't do it for this one. Man Up 4 at least had a different title card. Sure, it's just a strawberry, a reference to a plot that rarely even appears in the episode, but it's better than reusing the same log and tube man again and again.
The biggest flaw with this one besides the reuse is a similar problem the second one had: this title card doesn't convey Man Up 3 to me. It's just Man Up, with some really tiny fine print that says it is the third one.
2. Odd Bubbles Out
Tumblr media
It's a Bubbles head surrounded by hearts, which has basically nothing to do with this episode, as Bubbles, surprisingly, never really got a love interest. Maybe it's supposed to represent the love of her friendship with Donny and only Donny that depends on his friendship with Bubbles and only Bubbles, but that's a stretch.
Also...Odd Bubbles Out? I know I'm judging these title cards based on their artwork rather than their titles, but that has to be addressed. It's a play on being the Odd One Out, which is certainly what's happening in this episode, but I can't even consider it a pun.
1. The Bubbles-Sitters Club
Tumblr media
It just looks like a screenshot they put a sillohuette on. If they couldn't even bother to make the text not look like something they just slapped on at the last second, why should I put more effort in describing it?
Next week, I'm going to dedicate Saturdays to DuckTales 2017 reviews, since that show is returning. Just one per week; as much as I want to review them quickly, I'd rather not have another hiatus. I also need the time for college. See you soon!

Hi, I want to be as polite as possible but I saw a post from you here posted the 6th of september, where you say that those pics of sunset and clouds are from yours is not true, and I know that cuz I'm the author of the left pic. I dunno where you found my photo, but if is not yours, don't say that it is; at least say: I don't know the author. Now, please, delated the post or at least put me as the real author of my own pic; I have prooves is mine and it was taken the 8/16/2015.
Sorry guys, this post won’t be pretty.
No, I am going to be as polite as possible @littler-m-d and trust me in this situation it won’t be easy.
You come in here, you write a post about the fact that “I” stole YOUR picture. No, let me rephrase that, you have the nerve to tell I stole YOUR picture. I can’t even believe Tumblr just deleted my post without even questioning you, like what the fuck. What the fucking fuck Tumblr ???
YOU pretend I stole a picture from YOUR instagram account. And you present us a screenshot pretending it was taken in August of 2015. And this is, and I quote, your “proof” ??? That’s worth nothing. It’s even laughable because I can’t even believe the length you went just to remove MY (yes, it is MINE) photographies. You say “I’m not a famous Tumblr”, does that justify you telling lies and disrespecting me ? Envious people like you make me sick, liars even more. Let me show you how you prove MY photos are MINE.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the original ones anymore, they were taken with my phone… in 2014. YES IN 2014, to be accurate, on the 5th September of 2014 at 6:24 pm like I wrote in the caption. That means… more than a YEAR before you pretend you posted it. I uploaded the picture on the same day at 11:39 pm, as the creation date of my file indicates. I could screenshot my file data but that’s a worthless proof so let’s move on.
Here the photography YOU stole :
Tumblr media
(oh yes, it felt silly to write that).
Here the one coming with it that ODDLY doesn’t appear in your screenshot of my post :
Tumblr media
These pictures were taken the SAME day. To be honest, I’m even surprised you managed to make it into an instagram picture, since they are really SMALL.
And that’s funny because… I have the UNCROPPED VERSION OF THEM. Noooow, I wonder how I could have them if I stole the picture from your instagram account, could I be a thief and… A WITCH ??
First, the one you didn’t bother to steal :
Tumblr media
Then the one you DID bother to steal and claim as your own :
Tumblr media
And guess what ? I have a third one, also taken that same day, lucky me !
Tumblr media
And if it doesn’t prove you’re a very very bad liar, see the fir tree on the picture ? Yes, that’s also MY tree. Well, let me rephrase that, it’s my neighbor’s tree. And it’s been bothering us for decades because we’re afraid it’s going to fall off at any minute.
Want proof ? Pictures taken on the 3rd March of 2017 :
Tumblr media
Do I really need to say that the little tree beside it is not fully blossomed because it’s still cold where I live ? So NO this picture was NOT taken in “Spain” like you pretend it was, it was taken in FRANCE.
And THAT’s how you prove something CORRECTLY. Don’t you EVER dare to come back here and bother me again. So much stupidity is beyond myself. You managed to make Tumblr delete a post which was the most reblogged of my blog with your fat LIES. Thank god justice doesn’t work like that in the real world, but then again, if it did work this way, I would’ve sued you for slanderous denunciation. Too bad I can’t report you to Tumblr for that.
I strongly recommend YOU to remove MY picture from your instagram account.
EDIT : And just to laugh, remember that Internet ALWAYS remembers :
Tumblr media
“I’m not even famous” you say again. Oooh envy is such an ugly feeling right ?

Worth far more than 10 cents.
Tumblr media
One of the big changes DuckTales 2017 is the way they handled the nephew's personalities, and as such, we're going to see more episodes that show them. Woo-oo focused on Dewey, this episode focuses on Louie, and Huey's time in the spotlight will come later. Like the last episode, there's two setups.
Louie is enjoying his new life at McDuck Manor...a little too much, in fact. He adopted a "who cares, we're rich!" attitude, wasting soda, throwing away his phone when it just needs to be charged, and he doesn't even want to reach for the remote when he doesn't like what's on TV. Scrooge McDuck is not too pleased by this, and wants to teach Louie a lesson in the value of working hard.
Meanwhile, we get Dewey doing a continuation of the last minute reveal of “Woo-oo!” Just a reminder: I may not spoil the last minute reveals, but I have to talk about their aftermath, so if you haven't watched the one-hour special yet...why haven't you?
Tumblr media
The B plot focuses on Dewey trying to find more information about his missing mother, Della Duck, after finding out she was involved with Scrooge McDuck's adventures. Uncle Donald won't tell him anything, and he only has one photo. Even Webby, who has encyclopedic knowledge of the McDucks, is just as in the dark. Her only file on Della only consists of that aforementioned photo, and anyone who seems to bring her up tends to get silenced. They decide to investigate.
Of the two setups, it's clear which one is more interesting. Della Duck is going to be the main mystery throughout the entire series, and it's something that never really came up in the original. One might be thinking that the title is a bit of a reverse bait and switch, as the more interesting plot has nothing to do with the Number One Dime that is being chased after. With the rest of the episode, I'd say it's a bonus.
Tumblr media
After a shortened theme song, which, surprisingly for a show nowadays, is not going to be the norm, Scrooge McDuck takes Louie. Dewey and Webby were allowed to tag along, who immediately tell Scrooge they have to use the restroom. Scrooge...doesn't even reply, and they just run off.
Meanwhile, Huey...doesn't exist in this episode. No, seriously, they don't even mention him. It's better than forcing him in, turning him into one of the other ducks, even if that would be far more fitting than a certain other trio.
Tumblr media
Of course, they're not going to the bathroom, they're going to Scrooge McDuck's archives, guarded by the librarian, Miss Quackfaster. The very first thing she says is to tell Webby that only Scrooge McDuck and family can come in. Her emotions instantly change once she sees the nephew.
This episode re-establishes that Webby loves to get every single detail about the McDuck family, as she gets excited about books about Scrooge McDuck's favorite smells. Fresh cookies, for the record. Nothing wacky. As for Dewey, his is going to be very difficult, as Miss Quackfaster has to put him through some unclear trials. You'll never know what comes up next with her.
Webby is sure that Dewey will be able to pass the trials, though. Why shouldn't he, he should be the master of the Dewey Decimal System! They really did that joke.
Tumblr media
Back at Scrooge's office, Louie gets a tour, including a big painting of Scrooge and some workers, the Number One Dime, and, of course, the famous moneybin! We even get a joke about how swimming in a pool of hard, solid things is generally not a good idea, with Scrooge saving Louie from learning that the hard way. Twice.
He gets dragged into a meeting with the McDuck Enterprises Board, the vulture capitalists that also happen to be vultures. Scrooge gives Louie the explanation that, since they tend to be cheaper than him, he trusts them more than anything. He then immediately disagrees with them when they suggest that the moneybin isn't a great use of assets. These vultures are going to be villains eventually, I bet.
Tumblr media
We get this reboot’s version of Gyro Gearloose, the inventor. Right from his first line, this is not the Gyro from the original cartoon. I actually reblogged an explanation from Francisco Angones a few days ago, which is a good read.
Gyro: Shut up, everyone! I've done something brilliant!
Yeah, he's more of a hothead in this one. Scrooge McDuck even forces him to use cards to pitch his latest invention: Little Bulb. Like Little Helper from the original series and comics, he's a tiny bulb robot that, among other things, allows people the joy of not having to do anything by themselves. Louie is excited at the prospect, but the vultures bring up his general problem: his robots tend to become sentient and evil. While he admits that's at least half-true, he tells his robot not to do so.
He's going to become sentient and evil, isn't he? His invention gets denied, and in the midst of everything, Louie sneaks away to get a soda. And then something goes terribly wrong.
Tumblr media
One of the first things Louie saw was the Number One Dime, put on a pillow and a pedestal. Said pedestal is another "waste of assets" according to the vultures, but he's not just going to tell them no.
We even get his origin story for the dime, done in paintings. As a shoeshiner, it was the first dime he has ever gotten. That number one dime that Louie decided to use to get a soda that costs 10 cents more than a dollar. Scrooge doesn't know that one, but Louie sure does, as he manages to walk in as soon as they're talking about it. Oh, Louie!
Tumblr media
He rushes back to the soda to see it getting collected! He then has to follow this coin collector, but misses the elevator. One of the main running jokes is that Louie desperately tries to catch elevators, but has to take many, many stairs instead. It doesn't really get old.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, Miss Quackfaster is trying to slash these poor kids open, as people have been harmed to know about Della Duck! I didn't skip too many scenes here; she is very unpredictable. My favorite joke in these scenes is that Dewey manages to pick out a book on how to disarm people...and just throws the book at her. I am glad the show's use of little jokes like that is consistent.
When he finally gets to the door where the collector stored all of the coins from the machine, including the Number One Dime, he's sad to see that it's locked. What's worse is that these coins are about to be collected by a coin sucking machine. Gyro shows up just in time, and Louie convinces him to give him Lil Bulb. He waited for someone to say yes, so he gives it to the little rascal. Guess what happens later.
Tumblr media
Lil Bulb unscrews the doorknob, and Louie congratulates...himself. Lil Bulb is not pleased. I probably wouldn't blame Louie, to be honest; it was how Gyro sold him! Actually, that was from the cue cards, so maybe it was Scrooge's fault in the end!
We get some modernization in the form with the existence of smartphones, already seen in the very beginning. He looks up an instructional video on how to unlock doors, and once he gets the robot to search coins for him, he decides to play on his phone. It seems that every other example of trying to tie in modern technology would lead to something becoming dated in the future.
Eventually, after Louie's lack of any real appreciation for what he has done, Lil Bulb gets mad enough that he takes over the coin sucking machine, and becomes...
Tumblr media
...the CGI giant robot from the intro, and he's gone coo-coo for dimes! Yes, that little light bulb on that robot among the villains really was Little Helper, though calling him a villain may not be the right word. Rampant?
Speaking of which, Gyro gets to see this robot, and he unfortunately has to make an alteration to his list of robots that became good or evil. Heavily stacked on the evil side, because that what seemed to happen in the comics and the original cartoon, too.
Tumblr media
Gotta love those hidden jokes. They even referenced the origin for the Cogs in Toontown Online. I looked that up, for the record. The robot broke the elevator, which is bad news for Louie, as that means more stairs. That also means good news, as Scrooges has to do the same problem. Even Scrooge suffers from the running gag in the end, which is a great touch.
Louie: Lazy sunday means afternoon TV...working hard means giant robot attack...great life lesson, Scrooge!
Oh, Louie.
Tumblr media
I was really hoping there wasn't going to be a copout after all of these trials, and it almost looked like one at first. However, I'm glad to that that doesn't turn out to be the case. Not only does the Della Duck mystery advance, we get a little thing that changes quite a bit of it. Like I said before, I don't spoil them, I wait until the results.
As for Louie's plot, it all ends in the very money bin, which Louie climbs down a ladder to get into, proving that he's learned something. I did like Gyro's reasoning for Lil Bulb becoming evil so easily: he was a 75 watt bulb made for a 50 watt robot body; he got mad with power! They would have done the "ba-dum tsh", but they did the joke during an action sequence, so it wouldn't be appropriate. Who would have thought?
As Fly Pow Bye DuckTales 2017 review tradition, I'm not going to get into the endings here, but it's safe to say that everyone in the dime plot is happy in the end. I will say the ending of the "dime" plot is a bit of a copout, though it's not unfitting.
Tumblr media
Oh, and there's yet another twist, and while it's not as earth-shattering, it's still gives something to look forward to. I’ll just use that image as a hint. Let’s just say...he gets an idea. Again, results.
How does it stack up?
I felt that this episode was better than Daytrip, though Daytrip is still a great episode by my usual standards. Even the A plot, which is more standalone, was entertaining. It’s only fitting the episode where this screenshot came from also gets the rating its associated with.
