Who is Connor Hawke? - A Reading Guide
Connor Hawke is the son of Oliver Queen and Sandra "Moonday" Hawke. He is best known for his role as the Green Arrow, taking on the mantle upon his father's death and continuing as the Green Arrow after his resurrection. Connor was raised by his mother, and struggled in school due to being bullied for being mixed race (his mother is Black and Korean and his father is white). At around age thirteen Connor was able to talk his mother into letting him move to a Buddhist Ashram that his father had once stayed at, and there Connor entered the care of Master Jansen, learned martial arts and archery, and became a Buddhist monk. It was at the Ashram that Connor decided to continue the Green Arrow legacy. While serving as the Green Arrow, Connor teamed up with the Green Lantern Kyle Rayner and the Flash Wally West, Robin Tim Drake, Cassandra Cain, and the Justice League.
While Connor is most known for his connection to the Arrow family, as this was what was focused on most heavily in Green Arrow Vol. 3- it is important to remember Connor has strong connections outside of the family as highlighted in Green Arrow Vol. 2! These characters include: Sandra "Moonday" Hawke, Nathan Hawke (Connor's "Gran"), Mastern Jansen, Eddie Fyers, Kyle Rayner, Wally West (and his wife Linda), Tim Drake, and Cassandra Cain!
As of June 2022, Connor has been confirmed as asexual, which solidifies his ace coding from both Green Arrow Vol. 2 and 3!

Steven Universe six years anniversary ✨
Steven Universe is a really, really great cartoon. It includes serious problems in a way that children can understand. It is and will always be one of the cartoons I love the most and I am so, so exited for season six, but I have to say in the last episodes and in the movie it really had a downfall.
1.White Diamond
This is the aspect that bothers me the mos. Since the show's early seasons White Diamond has been a mysterious character and was supposed to be the ultimate villain. We didn't know anything about her an I personally started to believe she was some kind of god the gems worshipped. It turned out another way and she finally made her appearance.
Her first appearance was her best appearance. She looks terrifying, she's the ultimate boss, no one dares to defy her and she literally gave my chills. I was so exited because I thought we would have a season dedicated to how they defeated her or something like this. But nO we are just going to make it in ONE fricking episode and it is going to be the most dissapointing thing people have ever laid their eyes on. Like really. And in the movie! Come on! She's just like a grandma desperate to stay with her grandchild. She was a badass and now she's only a comic relief. Trutly dissapointing.
2. Lapis Lazuli
OK, let's be serious, she has absolutely no character development, she's never held accountable for her actions and she never apologies for anything. Seriously. And one thing... When did she become buddy buddy with Bismuth? Maybe I'm missing something, but the last time I checked this happened:
And now they're best friends? How?! When?! Why?! I mean, she was so mean to Peridod who didn't harm her in any physical way and when Jasper came pleading to form Malachite again she just hit her with a water punch and she was the one who abused Jasper. But she's completely fine with Bismuth? The frik????
3. Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz
I think most of us have the same opinion, she's a wanker. I mean, she did many, many bad things. I know she was abused and had a really painful past, but it's not an excuse for what she has done, it's just like saying someone should just forgive their abuser because they have a sad past. She started a war against her own kind, and I understand we are more likely to side with her because she fought for our planet, but it's just like a human would start a global revolution with lots of human victins just for the sake of I dunno, insects. It doesn't sound so good from this perspective, does it? Anyway, I'm really starting to believe that she is the main villain of the show. She is a bad person, she is the reason many gems have died, many gems were shattered and forced to fusion, the Cluster was made, she just left Spinel in the garden, it is obvious Pearl loved her more than just her leader, but Rose never made clear there's nothing romantic between them, she caused many people so much pain just so she could have what she wants. She's awful.
4.Blue and Yellow Diamond
Kind of the same thing as White Diamond, but on a lower level.
Not necessarily a bad poind, but something I don't personally like:
5.The iredeemable villain
I also said this in a previous post. I just want a villain that won't be redeemed, that will fight until their last breath just to reach their goal. I really hope Jasper will be this villain. She's my favourite character and I don't want to see her get a bad handled redemption or something like this. I just can't imagine her being fine with Steven and the other CG, especially Lapis! I hope they won't have that crappy dialogue where Jasper apologies for everything she has done to Lapis. If this happens all my hope will be lost.
This is what I think they screwed up on Steven Universe. Other than that I can't wait for season six! I'm really rotting for @novantinuum 's corupted Steven theory. I'll be kind of dissapointed if it doesn't happen, to be honest. Anyway, thanks for reading till the end, have a nice day!
