#I do think the jaja beef is funny as hell tho. I can’t wait to see their finale interactions

I really enjoyed the newest disventure camp episode, but one thing that’s puzzling me is how James is more willing to give Yul a second chance than Jake.
Sure, Jake may have personally offended James by insinuating that Aiden is cheating, but Yul hasn’t exactly been a saint either. He attempted to poison Aiden, and I’d say that’s more serious than accusing someone of cheating.
Also the whole thing with Yul calling James a slur for black Brazilians in the Spanish dub. I don’t think that’s something that can be so easily forgiven, along with Yul just being bigoted in general.
While I do honestly find the James and Jake beef entertaining to watch, the contrast of that with how kind he is to Yul just sours my opinion of it all. He’s abused his girlfriend the whole season, facing the consequences of his actions shouldn’t cause everyone’s opinion of him to suddenly flip.
I’m not saying he shouldn’t be mad at Jake, and I believe James’ anger is completely understandable. It’s just when these scenes are right next to James empathizing with Yul, the contrast between the severity of those two’s actions versus the anger James holds for them seems a bit odd.
I don’t really post my in-depth opinions on things here, but this was just one thing about the episode that I didn’t really get. Although, I am looking forward to seeing how the dynamic between James and Jake goes in the finale.
