based on these headcanons written by @pamgkrthwrites.

These headcanons caused me to create an oc named Huoqiáng, who is in the reader's place in the @pamgkrthwrites headcanons.

Red Son

Oh boy

He is a tsundere big brother

He is six years older than you

When Huoqiáng was pregnant he was a little upset he would have to share his parents love

Once you were born, he now wants to keep you safe

As you get older, and your horns grow he'll help make it hurt less

Because of his fire powers, he can touch your lava hair

Braids you hair when you ask

Teaches you how to use your fire powers better

That training he did with Mei, he'll do that with you

When you mess up, he will protect you and then give you crap for whatever you did

After the LBD incident, he becomes even more protective of you

He now makes sure you keep your powers and skills up to par

Tries to keep you from being friends with Mk and Mei before the LBD

Now he just sighs and tells you to be smarter than those two

Tries you no different because you're a girl, his mother made him drink his respect woman juice

Once you're friends with Mei and MK... you'll give him a heart attack

Helps you take care of your horns

Makes sure no one gets away with mocking you

Doesn't care that you're technically his half sister, loves you like a full sister

Adores you

She is a little upset she cant braid your hair

You're her little princess

While not overly affectionate she makes sure you know she loves you

Loves your horns so much

Helps you deal with horns when they break

Makes sure you clothes accommodate your lava hair

Even though your not her daughter, she doesn't care, she loves you

Any demon that mocks you... they saw the grim reaper

Likes teaching your important things

Is proud of your skills with fire

Has special accessories made for your hair

Says you look like your father cause of your horns

Helps you when you go through puberty

After the LBD incident... she makes sure to show you and Red Son more love

is protective of you, cuase your his little girl

Murder is on the table if someone tries to insult you, you're his daughter so no one gets away with that

After he is freed from the control of the LBD, he hugs you

He makes sure to let his love for you be more obvious

Is proud of your warriors skill

When you show her your fire powers, she is in awe

When she learns you're Red Son's sister, like MK, nothing changes but she does mess with Red Son more

Like bringing you to races

Wants to take you on motorcycle rides

After finding out the samedi fire thing, and the LBD she is happy you're by her side

When she gets a handle on her new power, she is by your side more

Is happy you and your brother are heroic now

Will plot the murder of anyone who mocks you because of your half sister status

When you become friends with MK and Mei, he gets used to you

just some thoughts on these (source: this article) original sketches of the Dragon Age world through time / concept sketches of the Thedas map at different points in its history:

(the linked article is worth a read for extra info and context on the maps). like the article says, whenever a name of a place or people is typed as opposed to handwritten, it means that the place or people originally had a different name which was changed by EA's "sensitivity team" due to it clashing with something from the real world. Names of things change when worldbuilding anything all the time ofc, but it’s just interesting to me to look at what's been typed over and list places / peoples which at one point in the creation of the world were called something else before being renamed for that reason:

Arlathan, Frostback Mountains, Alamarri tribes, Anderfels, Par Vollen, Antiva (used to be called "Calabria"), Orlais / Orlesian Empire, Seheron, Orzammar

I wonder what the ones (besides Antiva) used to be called? ^^ there are other names on the map that appear to have been renamed at some point in the process (see below), but they weren't typed over like this.

On the time periods given in some of the bottom-right hand corners: “F.A.” refers to the Founding of Arlathan (elven calendar), where 1 FA is the year in which Arlathan was founded. “T.E.” refers to the founding of the Tevinter Empire (Imperial Calendar), where 0 TE is the year in which the Imperium was founded. Does “F.C.” refer to the Founding of the Chantry, making this an alternative way of notating the Chantry calendar? (the Chantry was founded in 1:1 Divine and World of Thedas tells us that the founding initial event honored in this calendar is that in its first year the original head of the Chantry, Divine Justinia I, was appointed). Was this the original name/way of writing of the chantry calendar before they decided (either in-world or devs doing the worldbuilding) that instead of notating it like FC they would have ages like “-150 Ancient”, the Divine Age/1:10 Divine etc? Is “600 F.C.” the Steel Age? In that map it shows the Qunari Empire borders really quite far south into what became Antiva and Rivain, and we know that in the Steel Age the Qunari pushed deeply into Antiva and Rivain, so it could track. Ferelden would also have been founded as a kingdom at that time, explaining why Ferelden now appears.

These maps are also interesting as instead of purely geographical they are also political in places. (I think DG said at one point on the old forum that the lack of exact borders on the Thedas map we see is intentional, with the rough area controlled by each nation being pretty clear, and “when it comes to areas where they border on each other the exact ownership is probably in question”.) ((there are some cool fan-made maps out there where different people had a go at headcanoning or approximating borders to make political versions of the main map btw)). On some of them we can see dotted lines presumably representing borders or approximate borders of nations/states and the territories claimed or controlled by at that time of different groups of people, past and present, including in many cases the naval territory/their waters. It’s really interesting to see where some of these borders approximately are and to see how they changed through time in the world timeline. There are no border lines on the final sketch/most recent [in-world time-wise] version of the map, I guess as it’s the present time in which DA:O is set, or close to that time.

For example, it’s really interesting to me to see in 1100 TE the borders of the Dales, the borders of the Kingdom of the Ciriane and the borders of the Kingdom of the Planasene. (the Ciriane were the loosely-defined tribe from ancient times that lived in what’s now central Orlais, and the ancestors of modern Orlesians. The Planasene meanwhile were a farming tribe that became the ancestors of most humans in Nevarra and the Free Marches.)

And to see in -100 TE/6300 FA those of the kingdoms of Neromenian and Qarinus before the formation of the Imperium and before they became absorbed by the Imperium.

And it’s interesting to see Tevinter’s borders expand and contract over time, and stuff like how when the Kingdom of Rivain was founded, it was originally a much smaller nation in the northern part of that peninsula only, whereas in the modern day the peninsula looks to all be part of the kingdom of Rivain.

(in general it’s really interesting to compare these sketches with the map of Thedas as we know it hh).

The first map set in -100 TE/6300 FA clearly places the city of Arlathan, capital of Elvhenan, in the forest now known as Arlathan Forest. Codex Entry Enasalin says:

"An example of such a place is Sundermount in the Vimmark Mountains near Kirkwall. According to Dalish legend, this was a burial site for elders and the location of a great battle between Imperial and elven forces—nowhere near Arlathan (if one believes the city was near the forest of the same name in northeastern Thedas).)"

^ The dot there is the settlement of Arlathan.

Some other things I noticed/was wondering about:

It seems like the Venefication Sea during development used to be called the "Venefician Sea".

The ancient elves are noted as “the Elvhenan race”, rather than the elvhen race

A name is given for the tribes that presumably were the ancestors of modern Rivaini humans/the human tribes that inhabited the area around what became modern Rivain: the "Riverian Tribes". This is notable to me as I don’t remember hearing this before, and they aren’t listed in the list of known human tribes.

We can see the “Yothand tribes” noted in the area that became the Anderfels. Before seeing these sketches, the Prima strategy guide for DA:O mentioned that the main population of the Anderfels in ancient times in 500 TE, were called the Yothandi (note the "i" at the end isn't on the sketch map). parts of the info in that guide seem to be of debatable canonicity so that’s interesting too (maybe those segments of the guide were written earlier on during DA:O’s development before some changes were made in the worldbuilding?). In the Anderfels there are also the Orth people who live in the Wandering Hills today, but originally this was an old name for people[s] of the Anderfels (Orthland) in general. “Orth” doesn’t appear on these sketches. So what do we think? ^^ Were the Orth people called the Yothand[i] people earlier on in the worldbuilding process then the devs changed it? Did the Yothand people come first in the in-world timeline, and that was the name of those peoples in ancient-ancient times, before they grew into, came to be known as, or were otherwise absorbed by the Orth, in still-ancient but not super-ancient times? The map with Yothand is set in -100 TE, so in this scenario they were still called Yothand for another ~600 years going by the Prima guide. Are Yothand and Orth synonyms, like the Ciriane/the Cirean? Maybe one of the two terms is/was an umbrella term that includes the other, like Alamarri includes/included multiple tribes (Clayne, Chasind, Avvar)? Maybe there were simply multiple tribes like in Ferelden (Clayne, Chasind, Avvar) in the Anderfels (Yothand and Orth both). Maybe it’s just a case of loosely-defined groupings, like the Ciriane, with different parts or groupings within that having their own names? I'll note that interestingly "Yothand" seems like a combination of Anderfels and Orth.

Maybe "Yothandi" is a variant form of "Yothand" or plural or something?

Whatever the situation with the Yothand[i] and the Orth, given that e.g. the Ciriane for example are a loosely-defined group, given that the Alamarri are/were made up of multiple tribes (Avvar, Chasind, Clayne), given that the sketch gives these groups as “tribe[s]” plural (Ciriane, Planasene, Inghirsh, Yothand) just like it says “Alamarri tribes”, and given human history irl, since there are multiple named groupings underneath the Alamarri umbrella (Avvar, Chasind, Clayne), I��m choosing to headcanon that Ciriane, Planasene, Inghirsh etc are similarly umbrella terms with multiple other named groupings within them, just that they're names that we don’t know, unlike with the Alamarri tribes. makes sense, Ferelden is the most fleshed-out human nation in the setting.

Who are/were the “Shaelan” [sp?] race and the “Olvenene” [sp?] race?? (if you can make out those words better please let me know!!) I don’t think these words crop up elsewhere in known lore. On the sketch that they appear on, human tribes are called “[Something] tribes” and the elves (a people that is not human) are notated as the “Elvhenan race”. Were there a few other races that weren't human on Thedas this far back in the world’s time? Or at this point in the creation of the world in the dev process, were there a few more races who are not humans in the lore and they were then removed? I wonder what these groups were like/what these people were concepted to be like at that point. The “Shaelan race” are given as living in the now-Free Marches area south of the Minanter River. If the way Arlathan is drawn is anything to go by, the “Olvenene race” are given as living in what looks like a forest, north of the Tirashan and near the Hunterhorn Mountains, near where Kal-Sharok is. They have a capital city/settlement in that forest called “FaeFran” [sp?], which to me sounds kinda fantasy-elfy or fey. Maybe the patch of the forest north of the Tirashan on the map sketch became the green bit around the Blasted Hills on the map we know? I wonder if they were a different type of elf or a significant elven subculture within the greater culture Elvhenan, given the way the name sounds and the forest location. (also, like the Elvhenan and their capital in Arlathan Forest, in the next time period, they have also vanished...).

I'm also excited to see the Orkney Mountains appear (below the Tirashan, west of the Frostbacks)! Context on this from the DA wiki:

"The Orkney Mountains are not marked on any of the official maps. Traveler's Guide section of the Dragon Age: Origins: Prima Official Game Guide, Ultimate Edition provides the following description: "The Orkney Mountains, a rugged chain of mountains that stretches from the icy wastelands of the southeast deep into the continent's center, dominate the southern lands of Thedas." They are distinguished from the southern range of the Frostback Mountains, which are described in the following way "A smaller mountain chain called the Frostback Mountains juts between Ferelden and Orlais and holds the dwarven city of Orzammar (thought to be the last until the rediscovery of Kal-Sharok)." The status of the Orkney Mountains (including their supposed existence and location) remains unclear, as they were not mentioned in any other Dragon Age media."

Things I noticed on the later time-period maps:

From the map at 300 FC, it looks like there is a settlement called “Orlay” in Orlais. (again if you can make this out better than me, let me know!) On this map the only other settlement marked is Minrathous, the capital of Tevinter, and they’re marked with the same symbol (dot inside a circle), so I wonder if at one point in the worldbuilding process, the capital of Orlais was called Orlay? In later sketches, I can’t see Val Royeaux and Orlay is the only settlement in Orlais marked with the ‘capital’ symbol. Maybe Val Royeaux used to be called "Orlay" and then the devs renamed it?

On the map at 600 FC, it notes the Qunari as the “Qunari Empire”. I don’t remember hearing this phrase in published lore, unlike e.g. “Orlesian Empire” or “Tevinter Imperium”. Similarly, while Tevinter is called an empire in the lore, you don’t really hear “Tevinter Empire” like the map notes so much as "Tevinter", the "Imperium" and "the Tevinter Imperium".

On the last, most modern-day map sketch, specific locations for Qundalon and Sundarin are given in the form of dots marking them, as opposed to the map we’re familiar with which doesn’t mark them specifically and just has the text nearby in the general area. Sundarin might at one point have been “Sundurin” but it’s hard for me to make it out.

It’s on this last sketch that more settlement detail and more specific settlements that we’re familiar with start to appear, like Vyrantium, Marnas Pell, Neromenian, Redcliffe etc.

Interestingly, the capital of Seheron on the last sketch is given as Alam (marked by the capital symbol of a dot in a circle), with the settlement of Seheron marked with just a dot. It seems that at some point in the worldbuilding it was decided that the capital of Seheron the nation would be Seheron the settlement as opposed to Alam, as the lore we’re given states the capital is Seheron.

Treviso could have been “Trevis”, but the “o” could also just be obscured by the line of coastline. also it's odd to me that Calabria had to be renamed because it was the name of a region irl but Treviso, which is a city irl, just stayed Treviso?

Ansburg used to be on the coast of the Free Marches in the east, south of Rialto. As we know it, it’s to the west inland, north of Markham.

Lothering’s location also changed, quite a bit. In this map it’s on the northern coast of Ferelden, east of where we know Highever is and west of where we know Amaranthine is. (It is there, the first bit of the word is just obscured somewhat by the line of the coastline). In the map that shipped of course, it’s in Ferelden, south of the Bannorn and north of Ostagar.

I’m reading this settlement in the east of Ferelden on the map sketch as Highever. Anyone else also think so? Maybe this is where it used to be in the worldbuilding process until at some point like Lothering it changed? (or the changes also could have been a result of when the artists drew the map-proper, based on what the article says).

I’m reading the red box settlement here as Val Chevin. I wonder what the letters (looks like the end of a word that was partially cut off after “Orlesian Empire” in typeface was added by the sensitivity department) marked in blue said? maybe “-way”, as in the Imperial Highway? And I can’t make out the name of the settlement in brown is or match it with anywhere on the map we know. “Fourehatie”? [sp?] Maybe this place became “Val Foret”?

Lastly, in the Anderfels, I’m guessing that these settlements (“Laro-velanie”? [sp?], “Melo-orthanic”? [sp?]) are Nordbotten (left) and Hossberg (right) respectively. I guess they got renamed at some point in the world-building process. (Note the presence of “orth” in the name of what we know as Hossburg, like the Orth people/Orthland).

Is there anything else you noticed? any other places that changed name or locations, or people/group names that we can only guess at what they were? or maybe I missed something or you can make out any of the words better than me, or you compared the sketch maps to a different Thedas map like the DA:I war table map and noticed something? He comes by the cafe when he can, but now that Twyla has taken ownership the food is getting better, and he finally asks to talk to George about his changes. Love blossoms.

After the success of Schitt's Creek's first Singles Week, town council made it an annual event. Now, with Alexis in New York, Twyla volunteers to take over planning and running the event. She's excited to help other people find love, but she never expected that it might help her find love herself... (Can be with an OC or a character we already know.)

Patrick thought their sex life was pretty great, once he got his own apartment and they had the privacy they needed, but it turns out being able to call each other "husband" and being 20 minutes away from the nearest neighbor has benefits he and David couldn't have imagined.

I mean, obviously he's working and it's not just lying around on the beach, but there is a little beachiness and one of Ted's fellow researchers is looking very tanned and a little sweaty and also they are so smart it makes Ted feel completely out of his league.... They aren't immediately enamored of his puns and maybe they say something a little unkind about Ted flying all the way back to Canada to break up with his girlfriend in the middle of laying season or something, so they get off on the wrong foot, but Ted isn't blind and they do have a shared passion for turtles....

I would love a story where Rachel has always known she was bi/pan/queer and was out while she and Patrick were together and is now, post-canon, finding/moving on with the love of her life. Preference would be for f/f, though I guess it doesn't have to be. Maybe David and Patrick invite her to Schitt's Creek for something (housewarming party? cosmic meditation clinic? just to catch up?) and she meets someone there. Maybe she's already dating someone and calls to talk to Patrick about how he decided it was time to propose to David. Maybe they go on a double date while David and Patrick are in town visiting the Brewers. You can take the plot any direction you want, just as long as she's finding her person more than she's finding herself.

Alexis sends a copy of a magazine to David, under the guise of showing off her latest campaign for (? Interflix/whoever?) But David knows better ... He’s spies the ‘is your sex life alight’ quiz. He’s not falling for that wind-up trick again! He doesn’t. But Patrick reads the magazine (waiting for David to finish his 9-step skin care? Whilst David is out with Stevie? When David is away with RMG? Etc etc) and does the quiz.... up to you how it goes

Ronnie is sick of running into all the same people (like, for example, Bob) at the Wobbly Elm, so she encourages some of the women in her business group, with the help of David, to open a much classier bar to cater to the less rough and tumble drinkers of Elm County. She's there on one of their first ever Queer Nights when someone behind her says "who do you have to fuck to get an event permit in this town?" and not even David's giggles can distract her from the way the voice's owner looks. She may or may not forget to give this woman a piece of her mind. Up to you whether it's a woman we've met before or a new character.

BIOGRAPHY

olivia olympic was born in a golden crib, meant to have everything ( and more ) than what any girl could ever want. living in the family's countryside estate, olivia was practically designed from young age to be a proper lady. as the eldest olympic sister it is no wonder that she is the most level headed &&  responsible of the three  ------ which becomes a handy trait years later, after their parents die.  

after the three ladies are left to manage the shipping company && fortune on their own, olivia naturally takes the lead of the company ------ trying her best to make their business grow and maintain their expensive && luxurious lifestyle.  although the rival, cousin, company tried to buy the olympic's company, olivia  was quite vocal about her refusal  ------ not even considering the idea of giving away the only thing that reminded them of their parents.

after her graduation, olivia started to write books && journals as a pastime ------ sadly, she never dared to publish them. prior to her parents deaths, she considered taking a teaching career. strong, determinate && patient, olivia leads her life as kindly as she can, despite the rough years && the loss her family would go through. as a gift to her sisters, and to continue her father's projects, three sister ships were built and named after them: the Olympic, the Titanic && the Britannic and, for some time, happiness returned Olympic family.

but alas, life was not a dream && all good things must come to an eventual end. tatiana's death in the sinking of her ship's maiden voyage caused a big impact on olivia, who turned to her work to ease away the pain of the loss. with the eruption of the war, olivia made the decision of withdrawing the Olympic from civilian and commercial services to convert it into a troopship. 

after refusing the prior two marriage proposals of charles, a member of the rival company owner of the ship that rescued the Titanic victims, olivia eventually accepts. although the couple was the most unusual, due to their clashing personalities, their marriage worked better than what was expected.

unfortunately, death knocked on the olympic family's door once again, this time taking the youngest. had it not been for charles,  olivia would've given up on everything after brianna's death. her ship eventually returned to civilian service after the war && served successfully as an ocean liner throughout the 1920s and into the first half of the 1930s, yet she was no longer the lively, strong willed, woman she had been for, when her sisters died, part of her heart died with them.

with the increasing competition && the great depression, olivia's company ended up joining her husband's company in order to survive. in her later years of life, olivia became ill and eventually died in 1937. charles took care of her through her last years and published olivia's notebook of letters to her deceased sisters, fullfilling his wife's last wish to publish a book.

Hello, it's me, again! What I wanted to do was something like "basing" on some of your characters, some things like personality, how they look, some of their tastes (without stealing anything, or at least I hope that your characters are my headcannons for egyptian mythology)

Hello! And hm… so you mean to make your own story or project, but you want to base them off of my character and designs…? Honestly, that becomes as bit hard for me to give you a clear cut answer, if you don’t provide a clear description of what it is you’re planning to make.

But let’s work with what we have: Generally speaking, I’m fine with you drawing inspiration from my project to work on yours – in fact, I know of other creatives who told me they’ve been inspired by DEITIES to work thru their own project, and I’m beyond flattered! I also know that it’s not your intention to “steal” anything from me, though I understand your concern to not appear that way.

First, let me ease a bit of your concern and say that I make no claim or false ownership to Egyptian mythology or its gods. I’m borrowing from this pantheon and religion just like everyone else who does the same. I’m picking and choosing which part of the gods to display, and I’m probably overlapping some of their well-known personality and design features as well. “A visual story featuring the Egyptian gods” is not an original idea at all (tho it’s more rare than it should be, honestly–): it’s the manner in which I’m deciding to convey the characters and tell this story that will hopefully set it apart from other similar stories.

Which brings me to my bit of advice for you and your ideas: if you want to avoid making you project super similar to mine, then my project shouldn’t be the only source of inspiration for you. Meaning, you will need to be sure to put in the effort and draw inspiration from a variety of sources – including reference materials and text, and also from any other stories, characters, or designs that happen to leave an impression on you.

To expand my own anecdote a bit: I have several sources of inspirations for DEITIES Project – many that are listed on the Reference page and in the Links & Media pages. This is to help keep me accountable of the sources that influence my work, and to allow other to know that I’m not completely working in a vacuum when I decide “this trait best suits this character,” “this is why this character behaves this way,” “this is what the character likes and dislikes,” and so forth – even if the reason may not be clear due to spoiler reasons. I take artistic liberties now and then, but I still try to let my research inform that decision when I make that call.

OVERALL THO: I’m flattered you want to draw inspiration from my project designs, and I appreciate you taking the time to ask me permission about it, so I know your heart’s in the right place. But you’ll just need to use your best judgement on how much of my project you want to reflect in yours; a little bit of overlap or similar headcanons for the gods (or characters, I’m not sure if you’re dealing with deities at this point???) is perfectly fine and bound to happen, just… be careful not to make your entire cast look or act exactly like DEITIES 2.0, I guess haha. Do your research, consume other stories and media besides mine, and overall don’t sweat it, and you should be fine.

First of all, thank you for coming here and taking the time to read my informations. I go by May (she/her), from Switzerland, Europe. I roleplay for a long time, so this is not new to me. I have ADHD, so I might be forgetful… please be patient with me and do not hesitate to remind me of any reply. I use RPThreadTracker, so normally it shouldn’t happen, but we never know. I don’t mind personal blogs following, but I won’t follow back unless we’re friends or if your content is related to Bruno (because I love seeing things about him and potential friendships too!), so if you run a side blog, I’ll need to make sure you follow me from your main.

I have social anxiety, so I might be hesitant to interact with people, hence why I am very selective. I have hard time engaging in conversations but I try to, to get out of my comfort zone. At the same time, I don’t mind if you send me a message, it actually helps me a lot. Obviously, I will ask you to be respectful.

This blog is private for a reason, if we don’t follow each other, do not interact with my RP threads unless you’re involved. Also, do not send me IC asks if you aren’t mutual with me. It makes me uncomfortable and feels like you’re forcing me to interact... It’s not good for my anxiety. As for mutuals, if you want to start a thread with me, I’d rather you make a new post instead of an ask unless it’s from RP prompt lists that I reblogged (About those, I prefer if you reblog them from the original poster). I will eventually turn asks into posts if we continue the thread.

Non mutuals however can become potential mutuals and if you’re not sure, you definitely can approach me with asks before following if you have questions about my rules or anything else. 

If I follow you first and within a couple weeks I see that you don’t follow back (unless you have a reason), I will consider that you aren’t interested in interacting with me, I will unfollow you eventually. It’s really for my own comfort and my dashboard being mostly showing my rp partner’s posts as I like to read them. I also interact with duplicates, or just with the muns (we don’t have to RP but we can share about Bruno in private messages and that’s really pleasant in general ^-^).

• Content and Triggers •

There will have no sexual content / anything related to incest (strongly and firmly against it). The easiest way for everyone, if you happen to be a proshipper of incest… is to not follow me.

That being said, my main triggers are sexual abuse, ped0philia, racism, drug usage and of course incest as already stated. Religion is close to the level of trigger (as my family is heavily catholic and it’s pretty toxic in my household for the fact I chose to be an atheist, so I do not really need more of this somewhere else) and people often headcanon Bruno to be heavily catholic as well, which is fair and canon/accurate as Colombia is a +80% catholic country, I choose not to place that subject high on the plots of my writings. If our muses happen to be meeting in a church, that’s acceptable. If you have doubts on that, we can always discuss it in private. If you go politics in your OOC posts, I will have to ask you to tag them so I can blacklist. Thank you.

I will also tag fandoms as tw <insert fandom>, except for fandomless RP blogs and Encanto. If you follow me, I assume you’re not triggered by this fandom. Again, if I forgot to tag the fandom, it’s just my ADHD striking again, so let me know if I forget to tag a reply with a fandom you don’t want to see.

• Language •

I’m a non-native English speaker and I know how harsh people can be if someone uses a slur word… I actually help myself with a translator to make sure I’m not messing up with my sentences, and sometimes, they suggest me with words that shouldn’t be used anymore. That said, please be kind and send me a message if I have used an inappropriate word in my replies, as that is never my intention. That also includes my very little knowledge of Spanish. 

My native language is french so, I am willing to RP in french for those who request it.

I will keep the cussing words to a fair minimum, but as I am an adult only blog, and Bruno is an adult as well, I will certainly use said words when writing him. Of course if your muse is a minor, he will refrain from using them in front of them. But overall, you most likely won’t see them much… 

• RP Threads •

Ongoing threads you have with me will be added to my RPThread Tracker. You can look at this link in case you missed my reply and want to keep track because sometimes, Tumblr isn’t showing notifications and as an ADHDer myself, even to-do lists and reminders don’t always work for me as I also forget to program them…

I will keep it visible in the tracker for as long as the thread is active. If you don’t see our thread there, I either forgot to add it or archived it because you and/or I considered it dropped or finished. I never delete the tracked threads so it will be just hidden for you. If you want to make sure it’s visible, feel free to ask me to unarchive it. If you didn’t reply within a month, I’ll eventually archive it so I can keep track of the most active threads, it will be added back to the visible threads if you reply even after a month, so don’t worry.

I’ve come across the spelling error of Colombia quite often and even though I’m not Colombian, I kinda feel as offended by it as true Colombians would... so if you mention the country in your reply I will personally allow myself to correct your reply because I just can’t see it anymore... (my personal experience with people mistaking Switzerland with Sweden, I can tell I have quite some solidarity with this one). I will also kindly tell you that it’s spelled ColOmbia and not ColUmbia. By the fact I’m a french speaker, I hardly can make the mistake but I can understand why an english speaker would (British-Columbia - Canada, Columbia University - USA, Columbia as a sportswear brand, etc.)

• Shipping •

To be fair… No, I won’t ship Bruno with anyone, simply because shipping in the first place is not my cup of tea… I hardly ship characters together in all honesty. I also like the idea of him being the single Tío. He’s a character who has almost always been distant from his family and other humans due to his gift causing problems. He’s just awkward about all this. About the question of incestuous ships, he’s the most shipped with his family and that makes me REALLY uncomfortable, so don’t ever think about it, I will simply hardblock you as fast as I see it. 

Writing smut isn’t my thing either, so do not ask me to do anything like that even in private messages.

• Drama and Cancel culture •

OUT OF MY SIGHT, simple as that, followed by a HARDBLOCK for both sides. I don’t care which side you are, do not force me to get involved in any callout post. If you send me a message regarding a callout post or anything about a drama, it will be ignored and deleted, followed by a hardblock. If you don’t like the other person’s posts, if you don’t agree with their content or just simply hate them, there’s an unfollow/block button. We’re supposed to be adults, just act like one and solve your problems in private if possible. I am strongly against cancel culture and even though your motivation is noble and valid, I do not condone this practice as it is a form of bullying and could have serious impact on real people’s mental health… You won’t see me mention any drama on this blog either. RPC are meant to be places to relax after a long day… Be smart and don’t ruin the experience of your mutuals !

imo we're  now talking about two things (or at least i am ahahah), which is great, but i'ma break 'em out for my own brain: 

disrespect to creators

ownership of an idea (because the thing has to belong to a creator if using it is disrespectful to them) 

on legality: the legality of your behaviors is good to know for a variety of reasons, but doesn't necessarily reflect morality. it's a personal pet peeve of mine when people talk about the first amendment (which, yes, is only in the US) without understanding what it does or doesn't apply to. i probably know more than your usual person about US copyright law as it pertains to intellectual property (and how creative commons licenses & fair use work within that) but i don't really want to get into it. you can talk about it, i'm just... not going to xD 

on disrespect, and then ownership of ideas:

honestly, a fanworks creator or consumer saying that doing something the OG creator doesn't want you to do is disrespectful is absurd. even if we could get a list of (dis)approved topics from a creator, like - maybe a DOB or a misha thinks tentacle porn is hilarious, but jared padalecki would dox you on twitter for it. should we ask every creator every thing? is it disrespectful to be a clownfucker if stephen king gets on twitter and is like "guys. seriously. seriously? it's getting too weird"? is it then disrespectful to write about banging ronald mcdonald (lmfao) even though mcdonald's hasn't corporately made a public statement asking people not to make ronald mcd porn? (*this is one of the funniest sentences i’ve ever typed with a straight face)

the post this started out in reply to was: a fic writer posts an idea/premise/headcanon > another creator wants to do smt with it > original creator Does Not Like that idea bc it's a format they don't enjoy. (*you can find the post but i'm not tagging it bc nothing else i say is about that particular person at all , just a little context for my thought process) 

that's actually nowhere near the level of upsetting stephen king by being sexually attracted to pennywise, but perhaps it's even more obvious in fandom that no one has ownership of ideas. someone else made a show or a movie or a book or whatever that we liked, and we wanted to write more stories about those people or that world, and we did, and now there are 30,000 fics with self-lubricating butts, which is a thing an spn writer made up in 2012 and is now inescapable - did that idea belong to that person? should we have never written all these abo fics? does someone own coffee shop aus? how can a genre predicated on writing stories that are very similar/adjacent to other stories claim ownership over a story premise? 

more importantly: why would you want to? WE ALL LOVE COFFEE SHOP AUS THAT'S WHY THERE ARE TEN GAZILLION OF THEM! please god give me 10 gazillion more! I'LL TAKE CAKE (AND THE CHICKEN PLEASE)!! 

good god there is no idea so special or "original" that someone else is "copying" or stealing from you if they do something similar. no story written by two different people is the same story. no story rewritten by the same person at a different time would be the same story. i semi-recently ran into a story that is extremely extremely similar to one of mine in many ways (it's a great fic! knot4u by mscaptainwinchester), and i FUCKING LOVED IT because clearly that is a premise that interests me. they'd never read mine, which tells you how original any idea is (not very), but even if they had? dude, that's amazing! even if they wrote it bc they hated mine (and i have certainly spite-written things before lmao) and thought they could do better - GOOD! more cake for everyone! maybe it will be better than mine and that'll be an amazing treat for me! 

if someone reads one of my stories or ideas or whatever, and then write something inspired by that... dude, THAT'S WHAT A TRANSFORMATIVE WORK IS. that person just wrote fic of fic, and that's fucking amazing! it's fic all the way down my friends!! this is an awesome, creative, collaborative community full of people who just want to make pretty things for each other, and that's fucking amazing, and the idea that you are beholden to a creator's wishes (stated or unstated) when making works based off their works is the antithesis of fandom. 

we aren't beholden. we get to do whatever we want. and we get to do it TOGETHER. that's the best!!

can you clarify what you mean here? what is the relation between the moral or immoral things in a fic and the morals of creating fic at all? is the level of disrespect to the creator different depending on the morality of the content?
