80% of the 2012 tmnt is dumb shit. and the other 20% is an absolute rollercoaster of a plot complete with longform character development. Generally this format would be an issue for me but unfortunately a lot of the dumb shit appeals to my sense of humour specifically so actually its just a good time.

#I do get a lil impatient with the filler episodes because I like plot #HOWEVER #there is generally a couple common threads in the background that kind of end up being relevant to the long-term plot which I do enjoy #also it's so damn stupid and YET #Unfortunately it appears to have been one of those key pieces of media to the development of my brain #which is wild because I was already in my mid teens when it came out.
