"My Noggles Aren't Toys!"

Rating: E (for everyone) Summary: A strange "friend" comes along to play with the Tenno/Operator's Noggles, shenanigans ensue. So fluff, lol. Lots of fluff stuff. Author's Notes: I found a something AutisticTenno posted about the incessant clicking of a noggle, and AT didn't know which one it was. Someone commented about how MitW was playing with the noggle. Also, I've been thinking of using the name "Ayatan" instead of "Tenno" since Tenno is more of a title, kind of??? Plus, it's a canon name. Anyway, enjoy! :)

"My Noggles Aren't Toys!"

Tenno raised out of their transference chair, stretching, trying to get blood flow going through their muscles again.

Ordis had piped up, "Operator, are you feeling well? Do you need a snack? Some water? I can-" He was quickly cut off by the Operator's chuckling, it was deeper than it was, after the war. Yet it sill had that hint of child-like enthusiasm. The 'other part of him' really enjoyed how well the Operator had changed through their journey.

"I'm fiiiiine, Ordis! But thank you!" They politely declined, smiling widely. They had always found Ordis's constant worrying kind of funny, especially when it wasn't really necessary.

If he could smile back, he'd do so. "Of course, Operator."

Tenno walked out of their transference room, their feet making small, light tapping sounds as they walk to their ship's personal quarters. Its doors opened just as quickly as they closed, as a small-framed operator moving to sit down next to the Somachord Player, on the small make-shift 'couch' they'd put together with a couple of soft rugs, and a lot of floofs. Near them rested a classic Shawzin that Tenno had poorly used, playing 'Smiles from Juran'. A beautiful song that Umbra had tried to teach them once, only to get interrupted, suddenly.

Their attention turned downward, some pilled paper laid near the Somachord player. Tenno picked it up, finding it was actually Shawzin notes. Basic information, and small diagrams that Umbra must have written, even if the writing was clearly rough, it was understandable.

Tenno picked up the Shawzin, looking at the papers, then the instrument. Wash, rinse, repeat, they continued practicing finer details on how one should handle it.

After a while, their focus was slightly broken, when a sound of metal-type clicking came from another part of their room. They looked back, realized it didn't stop, only to find no one had entered the chambers, then it stopped. Thinking they could have heard Ordis working on something, or even one of their Kavats messing with a floof beach ball, they turned their attention back to the Shawzin, focusing on practicing again.

Then, it happened again, clicking continued. Tenno shot their head up, confused, as there appeared to be no reason for the clicking to continue. They looked around the room, the only thing that could make those sounds was a noggle, as their eyes stared daggers directly into the small collection. There was few out of them that were actually made of any kind of metal, accurate materials were used for 'historical accuracy', as Baro described. Slowly moving back into place, Tenno looks back down at the notes, pretending to be busy with their progress.

The sound popped up again out of silence, Tenno snapping their head, and an accusing hand, back at the collection. "Ah HA!" One noggle, specifically Teshin Dax's, had a dark red/black aura around it, before it swiftly disappeared from sight, and movement from figure Teshin's head slowed. "I KNEW it! I told you to stop messing with my noggles last time! They are EXPESIVE! Not to mention hard to get a hold of!"

Umbra stood at the open quarter's doors, standing still in confusion. It was only when Umbra pulled on their void link that Tenno paid any attention to the 6 foot 2 inch Warframe standing behind them.

"Oh, hey Umbra!" They cheerfully added to a friendly wave, which did not explain why this void child was shouting. . . at a shelf? In concern, he non-verbally asked about strange amounts of shouting, pointing towards the wall-installed casing.

"Ohhh, yeah. I was working on your Shawzin instructions, but I kept getting interrupted by someone. . ." They spitefully spat the ending word, hatefully glaring at the shelf once more. Umbra thought it was about time to take a break, he was gone for a while, and wasn't sure how long Tenno had been practicing.

Coming up to them, he put his hand on their back, slowly guiding them out of their chambers. Whilst asking Tenno what they wanted for dinner, both could swear an incessant sound of clicking was coming from the room next to them.

[On a happier note, before I totally sink into the Depression of pain your idea put me in: WHAT would they even name their dog in your opinion?🤔 Like, sth hinting at canon like "Dax" or "Krypto" or sth general/random like real people would, e.g. "Cookie", "Crumbles", "Muffin", "Cat" or sth?🤔 Ohhh, would it be a rescue dog?😱 ...Lol, watch me get attached to their dog that has to live through the abrupt divorce of his/her "parents" 😅🙈🤣) 

Ohh, true, Mon's an engineer, too😱😍🤣 Kinda forgot about that parallel😂 And ohh, true, Kara as an Asgardian would be very fitting, too, tho probably too "barbaric" compared to Krypton🤔 About the Kara/Carol thing..Well, most of DC and Marvel's characters overlap a lot and there's constant discussion who "stole" from whom🤷🏻‍♀️😅😂 OH, Asgardian!Mon kinda like a Loki?🤔 Sounds fitting, too🤔🤔🤔

Hmm, nothing specific. I think I added some OC to Sasuke team while he was with Oro and changed some stuff. For sure he didn't end with pink pokemon ==' and lived his life as a happy asexual. Probably left the village and just helped them from time to time. Probably itachi was saved. Stuff like that.

Because I thought about them buying some house and reparing it together. With some spacious room with big windows and patio, you know, a place perfect for her sitting there and paint. But before they end reparing it, the accident happens and they divorce.

So, one day, when Kara and her new fiancé are checking the houses to buy before the wedding and she doesn't like anything at all, but they finally end in the house that just is perfect for her and while she wanders around it (her fiancé talking to the agent) and is a little confused because she feels she knows that house, knows exactly what room will be the next etc.

She asks the agent who does want to sell the house, and the agents says some man who divorced before he and his wife moved in.

She ends in that beautiful amazing room that is spacious and perfect. She noticed some dunno, paint stain on the floor and suddenly remembers it was made by her and Mon-El while some paint-fight.

I also thought about the dog finding one of his old shirts amounf the stuff she brought with her to her parents house, and sleeps with it and refuses to give it back.

You know, i was thinking about naming the dog Damnit xD Explenation: Mon-El takes it from the shelter and the dog sticks to his every step what ends with Mon-El trupping over it for a few times, yelling DAMNIT! And the dog starts to respond to it. Imagine people in the park it, hearing "Damnit, heel!" xD That's just.... my sense of humour xD

Well, we could change Asgard for Álfheim and made them equally powerful but more calm and stoic and focused on science?

No, Loki and Mon-El don't fit together in my brain. More like a typical Asgardian: fights, mead and fun. Maybe he could be Agardian and she from Álfheim but they would to work together? That would be not Marvel universe, just an AU i guess xD
