I started reading comics because of Robin, Tim Drake was the first character that made me have interest in a comic from DC, he's my favorite character from the batfam and almost every comic I buy is because of him. So, if you ask me who my favorite character is, obviously I'm going to say Bart Allen.

i am a couple of years older than him, but he's almost a foot taller than me (more so when he wears his army boots) - we saw each other a few times before he went on deployment for eight months. which technically hasn't even started yet because he's in training on the east coast of canada till june.

it hasn't been particularly easy for both of us, given that we hadn't been seeing each other for a long period of time prior. during my last visit to see him, he actually wanted to break up with me to save me from the pain of him being gone for at most fourteen months. he thought it wasn't fair that i got roped into it, but during our weekend together we had many conversations (some drunk) about wanting to stay with each other. and he could tell that i was as committed to staying with him through it as he was with me. so he changed his mind. he saw that this wasn't some simple, short fling before he fucked off for a year. i was serious about this and he was serious too.

we actually met by accident on an online messaging service before we moved to discord and then eventually to texting! we live roughly in the same part of the country, there is a reliable, cheap train service that takes me from my city to his area and then he has a car to drive from the train station to the smaller down he lives in. during our first date we got all you can eat sushi in the city where the train station is just in case i didn't feel comfortable or safe and wanted to go home asap. (he didn't want to make it feel like i was being kidnapped). we saw a movie together afterwards (venom 3) and sort of made out the entire time. - the movie was really bad.

a couple of times afterwards i've come down to see him and we mostly hang out around his home. the last time i saw him, i got to help him get ready to go to base in his town for paperwork and he told me that he rarely ever speeds but when he was done for the afternoon, he was quick to get into his car to drive home to me.

yeah he's a former football player when he was in school and he's really strong as well. he likes to kind of just pick me up. he's the kind of guy who walks on the outer part of the sidewalk close to the road. he pays for dinners even though i try to fight him to it. he's just kind of a big blond guy who is quite monotone in his speech. but he's gotten better and kind of (as we call it) laying it on thick, which usually means him saying or texting me sweet things because he knows how much i love it (and my reactions are really funny to him).

also the only time he smiles in selfies is when they're sent to me, only to me.

he's coming back to our area of the country in may-ish, so i'm taking a week off of work to go see him so we can make up for lost time. if that doesn't work out, we're splitting the cost for me to fly to base to come visit him for the same amount of time.

it's hard some days because the chaos of being on base can be a lot sometimes and he can't really text me. but he tries really hard to at least get a good morning and i love you in so i don't forget that he loves me and is thinking about it. it's just taking it one step at a time.

his goal is to complete deployment and my goal is to finish my final class of university. so we're both busy guys! - he did also get drunk once and call me about how he wants to marry me before i made him get water and lie down in bed... i think about that sometimes.

HELP. ME. I’ve lost it. I leave my house with this. I use my phone at WORK and it’s like this. I’m not normal. never have been. never will be. I have a literal Leon edit as an animation when I plug my phone in. he is my life at this point. he is all I think about. I am so tempted to talk about him at work. I sit in the break room and write Leon fanfiction while on break. I think about Leon fics I read/daydream about Leon while on the clock. I daydream about him. I am fucking crazy, but I am free.

throughout the manga and the different translations of it, shadow link is always depicted as being afraid of being seen as weak or lesser than the others. in the fan translation, he mentions hating being reduced to being just a shadow, that he wants to be seen as himself. in the viz translation, he says instead he doesn't want the links to mock the shadows, to think they're weak and insubstantial. shadow was always terrified of being seen as an extension of someone else, and not himself, someone capable and strong. he wanted to be acknowledged.

AHHH i’m so happy you like it 😻😻😻 head scratches are his favorite he loooves it especially when you have long nails so he does not hesitate to give you money whenever you want a new set. he wags like a dream and makes a content rumbling noise deep in his chest when you scratch a sweet spot!
