Are you named after anyone?
A saint I think. Or my parents just liked the name and came up with that reason after.
When was the last time you cried?
I cry a lot I think I cried watching the new Godzilla movie because I'm easy and a sucker. Like CRIED cried? I think my birthday but it was actually a pretty great night.
Do you have kids?
Hell no.
What sports do you play?
None. Too busy and tired. Been thinking about finding a baseball league or something to play in because I miss it. I was a terrible hitter tho. I'm in better shape now and I learned about my fucked up eyeballs so maybe I'd be better.
Do you use sarcasm?
I don't think so. I have a very cynical sense of humor but sarcasm to me just comes off as being mean. Pretty sure I avoid it almost always.
What’s the first thing you notice about someone?
Looks? I mean literally first thing I notice is what they look like. And yeah I usually decide if I think they're hot right then but that doesn't change much about how I treat them. Otherwise just general vibes I guess. Sense of humor, manners, etc. Ooh I guess I really notice if someone is being at all superior or condescending. I fucking hate that immediately.
Eye colour?
Baby blues.
Scary movies or happy endings?
I like both, but I definitely watch horror movies more often. I think it's funny when movies get the super happy ending like Wayne's World, which seems to be happening more and more often in the movies I watch. I do think I've been avoiding dramas because they can be draining to watch and I don't feel like putting myself through that sitting here alone in my room. And bad horror movies are easily the best thing to watch with friends.
Any talents?
I'm very good at guessing people's middle name. Also I have insane memory when it comes to movies. You can name like one small detail about a movie you can't quite remember and I can probably name it. Good at trivia too.
Where were you born?
Bay Area. Zero memory of California since we left when I was a baby.
Hobbies?
Uuggghhh this is where I really start to feel like a nolife degen. Video games mostly. I'm decent at overwatch. Have a quitar but haven't had the energy or motivation to practice in a while. I really want to pick it up again. Just got an iPad with the stylus so that's been fun getting back into art. People say I can draw good so that's cool. Also I technically got my first commission since my buddy gave me $10 to recreate a doodle I made for him at work in a full piece because he loves it so much. Gotta get around to that soon.
Any pets?
My leopard gecko Heybaby! I love her. Also my mom has 2 cats that I still consider mine and I love visiting them. Yoyo and Mimi.
Height?
6'
Favourite school subject?
I guess history. I think history has better stories in it than any fiction so I love reading about it and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. Chose that as my major in college since I didn't know what to do with my life and it was the one subject I was able to tolerate. That was a very bad decision and I honestly should've never gone to college or just gone to a community college while I figured out what to actually do. Still waiting on that last part.
Dream job?
I really don't have a realistic one. I have hated every job I've ever had and any work that was assigned to me in school or therapy or whatever instantly made me hate it. I have crazy fantasies about what I could still do with my life but most of them involve doing little to no actual work. Like being a streamer. But I guess I'll go with what I would've said 20 years ago and say baseball player or rock star.
GET TAGGED @conkedcrete @spylarman (or don't sorry to bother u)
#idk how to use tags#so i guess hey there thanks for reading this#and thanks for tagging me pen this was fun to think over

Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
I might’ve been a little starved for blockbusters the first time I saw Godzilla vs. Kong and rated it. In my defense, it was during the pandemic and the other movies I was able to see during lockdown were mostly disappointments. Reviewing the film again, I recognize that the human’s plot is undercooked while everything with the monsters is spectacular. Well, at least the movie knows where its priorities stand and considering what its audience wants to see…
When Godzilla suddenly attacks Apex Cybernetics’ Pensacola facility, conspiracy theorist Bernie Hayes (Brian Tyree Henry) becomes convinced they somehow provoked the titan. Madison Russell (Millie Bobby Brown) - an avid fan of his podcast - shares his suspicions. They rope her friend Josh (Julian Dennison) into investigating and confirm their fears aren't entirely unfounded. After the attack, Apex insists mankind needs to develop a weapon against Godzilla and asks Monarch to give them access to Kong. They believe the titan ape can lead them inside the vast caverns below our world to a power source formidable enough to take down the king of the monsters.
Though Godzilla’s name appears first in the title, this film is about Kong much more than the radioactive dinosaur. It’s a good choice, as the ape is resourceful, an underdog in this fight and intelligent enough to communicate with Monarch via sign language. Godzilla might’ve protected the Earth/humanity in the previous movies, but was it really a heroic character, or was the nuclear reptile just killing its rivals? Kong, on the other hand, has actual human friends. Even though the Iwis we met during Kong: Skull Island have been wiped out (seems like a missed opportunity), Kong still has a link to them in the form of Jia (Kaylee Hottle), a deaf-mute Iwi survivor adopted by Dr. Ilene Andrews (Rebecca Hall). Nonetheless, his situation gives him a very relatable quest: he wants to know if there is a new family for him out there.
One-half of the human's story fares fairly well. With the help of Apex Cybernetics, Dr. Ilene Andrews, along with Jia and hollow-earth scientist Nathan Lind (Alexander Skarsgård) follow Kong into this hidden world beneath our feet that houses all sorts of monsters and an ancient rivalry between Kong and Godzilla (seems wacky, but it does lead to some fun developments). These characters are following Kong on his journey so when the 8th wonder of the world is put in danger, they are too. The other humans, however, feel like they only appear to deliver exposition or to give us some familiar faces. You could easily re-jig this story to remove them.
But of course, you didn't come to this film for the human element. Yes, kaiju films are better when the "tiny" protagonists are compelling, but if there's one aspect of this movie director Adam Wingard had to get right, it was the Godzilla and Kong stuff. I'm happy to say you won't be disappointed. The Titan battles are varied, clearly shot, tense and action-packed. You get three rounds between Kong and Godzilla, with a clear winner at the end that will leave fans of either camp satisfied. I know a lot of purists will say a Godzilla film isn't the same without rubber suits, but this picture does so much with modern special effects. Varied locations, varied angles, moves no human could do, etc. That last brawl in the neon-lit Hong Kong will make you say "wow!".
There have been a lot of Godzilla films since the character appeared. Some have been dramatic, others comedic or somewhere in the middle with an emphasis on dumb fun. None have featured action scenes as good as the ones in Godzilla vs. Kong. Even if you only have a passing interest in the characters, the highlights are strong, strong enough to make you forgive the parts that could've been strengthened. It's not even a guilty pleasure; it's gargantuan fun. (On Blu-ray, March 27, 2024)

**__Thursday__**
BC asked Rita to see about removing the pictures from the BLP servers. It's good news, even if it means Rita and Jay are now aware of them. Hopefully, this little problem is almost.. gone.
I went with BC to her apartment. I tried to show her just how much she means to me, that there are some things I love enough to put my mouth on.. heh. She showed me something I had never done.. and made me feel like I had never felt.. again.
*sigh*
I'm writing this after.. all the next part. *sobs*
I fell asleep, and she left me a delicious noodle dish to wake up to.. It was delicious.
**__Friday__**
When I got up later, I dressed up for the Godzilla party, in a white and red dress, because BC thought I'd look pretty in one. I met up with her and Eliza at a coffee shop. It was sweet and nice and we chatted, and Eliza told me about her notebook, with good and bad points in it. She's adorable.
We left the coffee shop in good spirits, and headed to the Kyabakura club. Max got there a little after us, and it was the nicest night.
I cuddled with Max, and BC, ate sushi and pancakes and pineapple, and found out a little more about Max. I should give him more of my attention, he's worth it. He's a lot more like me than I think.. I think. heh.
and then.. Flannery showed up.
That meant some drama, the club threatening to toss her out and BC getting very upset. I gather there was someone named Ana, who must have signed a contract with Flannery, and Flannery did something Kass-like to her. I assume. I haven't been given any details beyond "avoid Flannery, she's a predator", really.
Then BC got a text and went out to smoke. Things get a little confusing here..
We were heading to Billy's after. I stepped out of the portal into Pocket D.
BC was lying on the floor facedown, in a pool of blood. Nothing ever hurt so bad in my life. Not the blow torch. Not the tattoo. Nothing. I remember looking for a moment for Max, but he wasn't there.. he had already gone to Billy's, not seeing BC there.
Everything went grey and cold and I felt dizzy and strange, but I got close enough to know.. she wasn't dead.. but she was hurt.
They said she hurt herself. I tried to summon my healing, my pain control, but any control was shattered. How could I be saved and brought to life, only to die only a week later?
**I'd said it myself.
If tomorrow never came, my week was a worthy life.
Fuck.**
Now.. I don't even remember who those people were. I have a card. Mookie? Muckie? FFS.
We managed to get her healed, physically. I collapsed at one point, just fully fucking overcome after all this.. but finally, I was able to take some of her pain, and they got her fixed... sort of.I went to check on Max and the guys.. they'd been shoved out in place of medical people, the right choice of course.
BC was talking to Eliza, who was saying she was going to go.. so I took a moment to fo talk to Max. I told BC not to leave me..
*pfft*
She didn't leave. She's still there, with those people.
When I got pulled back.. something had been decided, I don't know who by. They said they could fix her, help her.. whatever....
I went and found her mask, and brought it back to her. I'm not sure if I brought herself back to her, or if the mask is part of the broken part of her, and I'm only making it worse.. fuck. She seemed.. maybe ok.
I know I love her.
I know I want to see her happy.
I assumed that it would be Eliza she would want there first. Eliza knew what to say. She knew what to do. They have memories and history and I don't know if I understand exactly what I am to her.. and I may have let her down, because I didn't believe it.
Eliza left BC there. Left with Rachel. I don't know what that means. That she trusts them to fix BC? That she couldn't do anything, so she left? Honestly.. no matter what she says, I believe BC loves me, but I think I saw myself as something lesser.. a glorified side piece, and I'm terrified that my lack of.. is it self esteem? What if I messed up because I thought she'd rather have Eliza, and she ended up with no one.
I guess I wouldn't blame her for wanting to see me again.
I didn't want to leave, but scary sunglasses kinda didn't imply I had an option. Or maybe I was upset, and I decided that was what they wanted. Maybe BC doesn't want me there.
I don't want her to look at the pictures, maybe she doesn't want me to see this.
Now I gotta sit here alone, while BC is alone? Getting Uber-Analyed by a Super Shrink? I don't even KNOW. How am I supposed to be ok with any of this? How am I supposed to know what to do here? I know what I want.. but I can't have it.
They had her bat, and the music box was still there. I reminded BC that if she had it, I was with her. I hope it was enough...
Oh. The Text.
Allurra texted BC that Raz is a predator that harmed 4 women. and her? including her?WTF,
First Nat gets "abducted" and Alurra is all "Oh, no, what happened, lemme text people!" and then Flannery is all "WTF, Allurra TOLD me to take Nat," and now this.
Are they spinning BC up? Trying to break her? Are they really all predators? I mean.. probably, but still. I don't know these people well enough, despite having been in the wings this whole time. Raz snubbed me early on, so I never really paid much attention to him. He did once randomly give me a speech once about NOT being a predator, but I guess that's Sign Number One OF a predator, cuz I've only gotten them from people who turned out to be creepy.
So what the fuck now.I joined Max, and we are Climate Control. I don't trust anyone else anymore.
Those people didn't talk to me beyond what was needed to help BC, really. They did give me access to go back, though. So.. we will see. I trust her.. I trust BC. Whatever is happening to her, this is about her, not me. I just want her to be ok.. so badly.
Don't make me leave Max alone. He might not be madly, to-the-death in love with me, but I know he would be sad. Maybe I'm being dramatic, and I HATE that I know exactly what I'm saying, and how shitty it is. I don't even know if I mean it. I think I do.
I can live with knowing I might not get to be with BC forever. I just never expected it could end so soon. I don't want it to be over yet. It's not fair.
Max isn't a consolation prize. He is my rock, as stupid as that sounds.

I spent majority of last night watching Godzilla then hopping on VR chat and ranting about an entire space world I came up with, much to a poor random man's surprise. What I do sometimes is create these odd narratives and just keep going with it, I just go deeper into the bit. It was very fun and I think I melted his brain a bit lol!!
What it was about is planets were countries, for example earth country. Every moon in our solar system is part of moon country, the asteroid belt is asteroid country and so on and so forth. I was also an international spy looking for info, I ask the dude and he spouts some recent minor drama that happened a minute or two ago. Not useful for the mission but info nonetheless. I thank him and began my life story. Now I had just moved out of moon country, being sick of the horrible food there and lack of money to be made, all they had was iceberg lettuce and I hate iceberg lettuce. Terrible.
I then moved to asteroid country, looking for something new but realized if you have a big asteroid, you have to share. I ended up sharing with three other people. The first two were decent, didn't bother me unless we ran into each other but the third guy was the problem. Every night I heard screams and was scared he killed the other two guys because I stopped seeing them leave their crators. Eventually I had enough and moved out. Plus, everyone was either so distant or far too close for comfort so I already wasn't happy with my location.
I decided to pop back down to moon country, visiting one of earth countries moons. I saw my old friend, Alberto running a burger stand like always. I actually don't remember his name because I'm too afraid to ask at this point, so I just call him Alberto in my head. Some how he made the only good food in moon country, which was crazy because everything sucks there. He told me about Pluto country, and how he knows a fishing spot that could make billions. All he needs is my help. I ask them why, he says the fish there taste incredible and that he uses them in his burgers. Fish burgers. REVOLUTIONARY. I was astounded, no wonder the burgers were good here. Together, we moved to Pluto country, ready to make big bucks. I still don't know his real name.
We get to Pluto, drill through the ice and get to work, making billions because no one thought to go to Pluto for fish. Sure there's other places, like the moon, but those places just couldn't compare to the supple and succulent taste of Pluto fish. I left my spy persona behind, become a fish lord of Pluto.
Then I sorta began to chat to the random guy about space facts. I told him about the sun's corna, which is kind of like it's atmosphere, as well as other stuff but by then I was out of steam and needed to snooze. I bid him ado and went snoozing because I had an exam tomorrow.

Memories (Part 3)
Another day begins on the Monster Island, Godzilla wakes up satisfied because he knows that he is going to meet his beloved human girl on the island.
Godzilla stops and the first thing he does is check his cave, to see if no intruders entered, but he doesn't find anything strange.
After checking his lair, Godzilla comes out of his cave and runs into his friends Anguirus, Balkzardan, Baragon, Behemoth, Gamera and Rodan, apart from someone he hasn't seen for thousands of years, his brother Kunin, not to mention the presence. of two other monsters he had never seen, Battra and Jyarumu, with whom Kunin fought. It was at that moment that the Alpha remembered that way of fighting, and looking at his brother with surprise, he said:
Godzilla: "Kunin?"
Upon hearing his name, the reptilian quickly looked down at the Alpha's place and sat down somewhat confused.
Godzilla: "Is that you, brother?"
Godzilla asked excitedly while Kunin didn't know what to say to him. He didn't understand why Godzilla knew his name. Who was he?
Kunin: "Who are you?"
He asked uncertainly, not wanting to confirm to Godzilla that he was indeed him, though he happily and easily answered the question.
Godzilla: "It's me! *Gojira!"
Kunin: "Gojira?"
Godzilla: "Uh huh"
Gojira is the name that his father Lilin gave him at his birth, Godzilla is the name by which we humans know him more
Looking at it more closely, he could see the resemblance he had with Lilin, and yes, it was indeed Gojira, the Godzilla he thought he had lost so many years ago. Recognizing him, he yelled with happiness and both happy reptilians high-fived their hands, shot their atomic breaths into the sky and circled around each other.
Kunin: "WOAW! But how? Where did you come from?"
Baragon couldn't understand what the hell was going on. I don't know why they recognized each other and now they're like bosom friends? what happened?
Godzilla: "Sparkles! Nice to see you!"
"Kunin: Ah! How nice!"
Then the meeting between the two Godzillasaurus was interrupted by Baragon, who annoyed approached to try to clarify what was happening, although he failed to get anyone's attention, since they were too focused on each other.
Baragon: "Hey! What's grilling here?"
Kunin: "What are you doing here?"
Baragon: "What do I mean? What are you doing here?"
While the two were talking happily, Baragon, who was between the two lizards, yelled to get them out of the nostalgic state they were both in, while making his huge horn shine.
Baragon: "HEY! WHAT'S GOING ON? DID I MISS SOMETHING?"
Godzilla remembering two of his best friends began to introduce them to his brother so they could meet him.
Godzilla: "Baragon, he's Kunin, he's my brother!"
Baragon: "Brother?"
Kunin: "YES!"
He responded happily.
Baragon: "Hey, Anguirus! Come here!"
He called out to the battleship, who had just managed to finish the talk he was doing with the Behemoth and Balkzardan.
Anguirus: "Huh?"
Godzilla: "Kunin? This is Anguirus… Anguirus, Kunin"
Anguirus: "It's nice to meet you!"
Said the ankylosaurid with great kindness.
Anguirus: "The pleasure is all mine"
Baragon: "Hello"
Baragon said in between, but then he spoke more confused:
Baragon: "Wait! Time! Time! Let's see if I understand…? You know him, he knows you, but then he forgets you… Tell me… Does this seem logical to you?"
Godzilla: "Calm down, Baragon."
Godzilla said softly, trying to calm down the dragonlith who had become somewhat tense. Kunin then joyfully addressed Godzilla.
Kunin: "Wait everyone knows that you've been here… And our mother! What will she think?"
Godzilla: "Y-You don't have to know… No one has to know!"
Godzilla replied, remembering the reason for his escape (he believed that his father had died). He didn't want to go back to remember what had happened years ago.
Kunin: "Of course! Everyone thinks that you and our father are dead!"
Godzilla: "Really?"
Kunin: "Yes, Leucophalus told us about that cruel day…"
Godzilla: "Oh yeah? And what else did he tell you?"
Kunin: "What does that matter? You're alive! So… you're the king!"
Then Baragon intervened mocking what Kunin had just said.
Baragon: "King? Pfff! Boy, I think the lizards crossed your path"
Anguirus, even more surprised, lay down on the ground as a sign of respect.
Anguirus: "King? I bow down at your feet!"
He then started to kiss Godzilla's paw, but Godzilla quickly brushed it away.
Godzilla: Enough!
He said something annoying. Baragon then corrected Anguirus' words.
Baragon: It's not dessert, it's dessert, and wait… It's not the king! You are?
Godzilla: No!
Kunin: "Gojira!"
Kunin said when he saw that his dear brother denied his destiny
Godzilla: "No, I'm not the king! Maybe I was going to be, but it was a long time ago, and besides, our father may still be alive."
Baragon: "Let's see if I understood… Your father is or was the king. And you didn't say anything?"
Timon asked trying to understand the situation better.
Godzilla: "I'm the same as always"
Baragon: "But with power! If you're not a king, at least you're a prince"
Said the power-hungry digger when he saw that he had it within his reach. Kunin then intervened seeing that Baragon and Anguirus weren't helping much with convincing Godzilla to come back. It must also be said that the reptoid wanted to be alone with his brother.
Kunin: "Please, will you excuse us for a few minutes?"
Baragon: "Ouch! Whatever you want to say say it in front of everyone! Not Simba?"
Godzilla: "Hmm… Better leave us alone"
Baragon: "Of course! With these friends, why do we want enemies…"
He spoke somewhat annoyed as he withdrew with Anguirus from the place, leaving the two lizards alone.
Godzilla: I forgot something. Is the volcano ready yet?
Anguirus, Baragon, Behemoth, Balkzardan, Gamera and Rodan: It is more than ready
Godzilla back talks to his brother Kunin:
"Baragon and Anguirus are going to like you"
Godzilla said looking at his brother, who looked somewhat embarrassed.
Godzilla: "What?"
he asked sweetly.
Godzilla: "What's up?"
Kunin: "It's like you've been resurrected… You don't know what it will mean for everyone… And for me…"
Godzilla: "Uhh, calm down."
He tried to cheer him up, although Kunin was already happier and showed it by shining his spines on his back while he purred.
Kunin: "I missed you so much"
Godzilla: "Me too you…"
They both flashed their backs with loyalty. Meanwhile, behind some bushes, Baragon and Anguirus spied on the lizard brothers.
Baragon: "Pfff! I tell you Anguirus, it stinks!"
Anguirus: "Oh, sorry…"
Baragon: "Not you! Them!"
He said pointing to the two reptilians who were walking together.
Hour and a half later:
Godzilla: Hey brother, I have to go, I made an appointment at the volcano, if you want you can go with me
Kunin: Really?
Godzilla: Yes, come on, join me.
Godzilla and Kunin run to the volcano to see how their friends are in the volcano.

Have a smol flavorshot. Couldn’t sleep last night so I did the mech suit/dystopia/sci-fi thing. Enjoy!!
2000 tons of carbon fiber enforced steel and titanium plates stand before him, staring down at him. Somewhere in there, he knows, is a beating heart keeping the eyes so alert and posture straight. There is a conscience in there. An awareness. Intelligent life. 80 meters tall, five meters wide encased in enough protective material to build four underground shelters. And even then, sometimes the pilots die. Normally he’d have some qualms about enslaving living beings but since no one really knows what the Weidmanns are, only that after they arrived everything started going to shit, he’s hard pressed to find anything more serious and founded to say against it.
Zoro pilots one of the older ones, one that came with a name and wasn’t grown in a lab. The swirly heart on the chest plate and weird face-thingy on the back shield and DEATH spelled across its heavily armored knuckles apparently came with the Weidmann and it didn’t work until someone thought to transfer the weird designs onto the armor. Sometimes it’s a bit touchy, Trafalgar D. Water Law, but it’s yet to fail Zoro. Or earth and humanity, for that matter. And Torao, how Zoro’s predecessor Luffy liked to call the Weidmann, seems to be oddly fixated on the green-haired pilot.
For example it won’t shut down if Zoro is close by.
The World Defense Council would rather play it as though the Weidmanns are machines, not creatures forced into submission by running so much electricity through their brains that they became effectively zombies, because obviously that is seven kinds of wrong, but Torao ruined that notion when Zoro entered the picture.
The first time Zoro’s in the command panel there’s abnormally high latent brain activity. Back then the technicians called it a power surge but to Zoro it had felt different from the power surges during sims. Because the pilots are put through what essentially is torture to be sure that they have it in them to steer a Weidmann. Some bullshit about neurological overstimulation. Now he knows that sometimes, the Weidmanns wake up and devour the humans that enter their spinal canal. And fighting Kaiju while keeping, essentially other Kaiju, under control, is a task in and of itself. That explains why the command panel is designed the same way landing modules are. They’re nigh impossible to break. As though the massive armoring wasn’t protection enough. Zoro soon learns the hard way that, only because the Weidmanns help, they are not allies. Not even close. He watches a pilot lose control over the neural bridge, watches the Weidmann gain its consciousness through the eyes of Torao. It’s quick, but ugly. Sometimes he still hears the screams of his comrade turning into static as he watches helplessly how Mihawk tears the control panel out of his spinal canal and crushes it in his massive fist before dropping it into the ocean carelessly. He remembers a rumbling purr of satisfaction coming from Torao’s conscience. The next two Kaiju attacks he doesn’t let himself sink as deep into the neural bridge as he normally does, even if the soft, warm whisper of Torao is oddly comforting normally. Not then.
Primal fear dictates he remain at the surface, barely submerged enough to feel the long, insanely strong limbs. These Kaiju he doesn't slice apart with the ridiculously long sword Torao's been outfitted with. He brawls, because so close to the surface, so barely there, he lacks the fine motor control to properly wield a 70-meter longs word with electrical currents running down the blade that has teeth running up and down like a chainsaw.
Kikoku is a masterpiece of engineering. Someone really did their research for effective weaponry - and ended up choosing Texas Chainsaw Massacre as reference. Sharknado as well. Perhaps Sharknado is more fitting, since the Kaiju appear from somewhere deep within the Pacific Ocean. They're not sharks, nowhere close, with their huge legs and claws and less than aerodynamic bodies, but a terror from the ocean none the less.
The next Kaiju is one of the strongest yet.
Zoro knows without Kikoku he hasn't the slightest chance to get past its long, leathery winged arms that sport massive claws, or the insanely long tail that has a bone structure at the end of it that Zoro takes one short look at and knows, painfully aware of the implications for his neural bridge - he'll have to go in deep this time - that one hit will smash through Torao's armor like a wrecking ball through a massive wall of reinforced concrete. It will take the entire Weidmann down and damage it beyond repair.
There are two other Weidmanns running point, "got your six, Zoro" crackles Ace's voice through the comms. Boa Hancock is arguably the prettiest out of all the Weidmann, and Ace is definitely the prettiest pilot. And the fucker knows it. But Ace also knows his stuff and is one of most well known pilots. Most drops, but not the most kills. Ace is happy to run point and let others take the kill. Boa Hancock isn't strong, it heavily relies on others and teamwork isn't quite Zoro's strength. Especially not in the Weidmann. But then again, few people are good at teamwork when their attack and defense is directly tied to a 70-meter monstrosity of titanium with a serrated running blade and coated in 4000 Volts of electricity. The other Weidmann is Sir Crocodile, among the heaviest defense humanity has, and the pilot is the most cryptic bitch ever.
In her presence Zoro always gets a distinct feeling like he's the butt of a joke that only she understands. Nico Robin the strangest out of the bunch. Except she really isn't. They're all weird in the Tokyo Shatterdome.
But then again you have to be somewhat messed up in the head to even be considered for pilot training.
He takes a deep breath before sinking into the neural bridge. Torao's consciousness envelopes him like warm, summer air, smelling softly like heat and sweat and sleepiness in the shade of a tree. He's in deeper than he was with the last two Kaiju, deeper than the WDC says is green, but not where he used to go. Torao and him, they used to synch. Zoro would leave the dock being submerged at the green levels and slowly slip in deeper once the control and directing electrodes were off.
He'd be pulled from Torao the instant he crossed over the yellow into the orange line, and where he goes is deep, dark red.
Rumor has it that once you're past yellow, you start becoming part of the Weidmann. The general public is fed a pretty tale of too much neurological input and synaptic overload but the ugly truth is - you're waking the beast. You're lending your tiny, insignificant brain for them to regain their consciousness and that fries you. Only Torao has never truly been gone. It's the one Weidmann they couldn't really tame and eventually it burned through all its pilots.
Zoro sees the charts stabilizing, the brainwaves lining up sort of on top of each other, enough that he'll be able to move Torao without getting consumed. Or overpowered, torn out and crushed. He relays his data to command and gets the go. Transfer out to the ocean is oddly silent. Torao is unusually still and Zoro doesn't like it. Something is off.
They land, knees slightly bent and hands at the hilt of Kikoku, and then they wait. The Kaiju is moving towards Tokyo, but it's taking its time. While its predecessors have always taken the most direct approach, this one circles around, tests their patience. Tense silence rules between the three monsters humanity tamed to defeat their unknown enemy, with only crackling updates on how far away the monster lurks. Little crackles of static in the silence. Zoro could probably hear a pin drop if he were to unlock his helmet. Even the ocean is deceptively calm.
Zoro thinks he can see movement at the horizon, thinks he can feel a tingle of excitement, adrenaline, rushing through his veins, but he's too deep in the Weidmann to still feel his body like that. Zoro frowns. Now is not the time.
The Kaiju rears out of the water like a monster straight out of old Japanese Kaiju-movies. It's ugly, with thick leathery skin and glowing green eyes, a maw full of crooked teeth, and the leathery skin flaps attached to its arms make a good imitation of wings. He draws Kikoku and readies himself, only to be hopelessly overpowered by the monstrous creature. He forgets about the tail, sees it a moment too late and can only narrowly avoid being hit by the bone club at the end of it. The long appendage hits the Weidmann around the middle and topples him over into the ocean. Alarmed red lights blink in his peripheral vision, damage assessment is still running when the Kaiju descends on the downed Weidmann again. Zoro can hear himself growl - something isn't right he shouldn't be able to hear himself - and yanks up his arm to protect the face.
A new alarm starts blaring when the neural bridge starts to disconnect. Zoro curses up a storm and tries to disengage the neural input dampening systems that are supposed to keep the pilot from experiencing the damage. The pain of being torn apart. The Kaiju shrieks over the still body, the sound shattering through the Weidmann's massive body armor and the command pod and Zoro hears a massive growl in return. And then Torao moves. Zoro isn't in deep enough to be initiating the movement, so this is all the consciousness he's been hijacking for the last two years. Zoro slams his hands against the emergency eject panel, the weapons panels, anything really, that he can reach without disengaging the pilot safety straps. A whole lot of nothing.
He growls. It's not that he's afraid to die, because he dropped that particular piece of humanity the first time he stepped foot in a drop sim, and thoroughly erased the idea of fear when he made his first kill as the backup pilot for Mihawk, it's just that Zoro really hates the idea of not being able to put up a fight.
There's a click and a whirring noise and Zoro finally feels himself sinking deeper into the neural bridge. He stops where he is comfortable, where he went before he witnessed Mihawk tearing the command pod out of his spinal canal. There's a growl rumbling in his - no, in Torao's chest - and a very sudden yank on his mind. Zoro feels like he stumbles and for a second everything is numb and dead, and then it feels like he slips into his body, only that his body is suddenly unfathomably huge and strong. He can feel the bruised organs and muscles of his - Torao's - abdomen, the tingling in the fingertips where the insulating coat doesn't quite manage to keep 4000 Volts on their side of Kikoku's blade.
Zoro hesitates for a moment and suddenly there's a voice echoing through his mind: "Zoro-ya... Didn't take you for a coward."

-------------------
You felt your phone vibrate in the pocket of your leather jacket, but you ignored it as you leapt back out of the way of a fist that smashed against the street. You frown, doing a quick glance at the civilians in the area, too many were still lingering at the intersection, all the cars stopped, but that wasn’t before some of them had swerved to avoid hitting you as you’d suddenly appeared in their way. Your litheal body tucked itself, the palm of your hand glowed for a moment before you were able to attach the small gemstone to the car in a form of a really strong molding and pulled yourself in a twist onto the hood effectively avoiding the prospect of being roadkill.
You were a little too pretty to wind up the bug on someone's windshield today.
The radio in your ear clicked on effectively telling you the eta of your team. Kamui Woods was on his way, he’d gotten held up about three blocks away and that was still long enough for the guy you were facing to cause problems if you didn’t hold his attention. You hoped down off the hood of the car, your boots walking over the torn up roadway. “Throwing a tantrum now, what are you two years old?” you wonder with a tease as you grin. You’re not just the Pro Hero Gemini for shits and giggles, no you had earned the name and it was rising in popularity and your recent joining of The Lurkers.
You were rising in popularity. It was through your hard work. Everything you did was because of your dream to help people, but you weren’t delusional in assuming it wasn’t going to be hard fought to claw your way to the top, you weren’t aiming to be number one, but you were going to do your best.
“All that effort to rob that bank and to think you almost got away with it too, if only it wasn't for that meddling little Gemini.” Your grin was wide as you watched the large man sneer at you, his body glowing a brilliant blue at the center of chest and the color expanded outward along hands and down his legs before he was suddenly rushing you.
So predictable, but then again this is hired muscle for you.
You darted to the left avoiding his swing as you cupped your hand along his ear with a hard slap of sound. The blow left him staggering to the side, but blood oozed out his ear down his cheek. You’d blown out his ear drum.
This sort of thing affects things like balance and depth perception. Not to mention regular things like one's perceptions of sound.
“Oh look at you, all weak in the knees.” Your laughter is enough that even if he can only hear it out of one ear, he’s raising his venomous gaze to you and throwing out a large hand to smack you down.
The crowd expected you dodge and weave out of the way, but their cheers erupt as the smoke clears and your standing there having taken the blow, unmovable as you’d anchored your feet, and your legs are reinforced with the gemstones that gave you your Pro Hero name, your arms raised to block the swing as you hold him back.
The crowd cheering for Gemini shouldn’t have been such a booster to your confidence, you shouldn’t be looking for recognition in the public, when you should get that in your private life too, but you didn’t. When you took off the mask, took off your hero costume you were left with a shattered, broken (Y/N). Your freedom fell away and with it your confidence.
You break in thought, in focus is what left you realizing too late that he’d only hit you as test, but he’d been charing his attack for something else as his wide mouth opened and blue energy swirled inside his mouth, your eyes widened and you knew you couldn’t block that move, couldn’t move out of the way either, not with the civilians clustered behind you.
Shinji Nishiya (Kamui Woods) showed up just in the nick of time, shouting out his special move. “Lacquered Chain Prison!” He throws out his arm as wood from his left arm and entangled the bad guy, his branches curling tightly over his mouth and noise and along his body forcing his hands to his sides and his body back away from you. The crowd was stunned for a moment in silence before their was the clicking of cameras and the sounds of cheers. You should have been upset by your mistake, you were and yet in that moment, as you had stared your death in the face, you were disappointed he hadn’t fired. It was that dark though that left you shaken to your core for more reasons than you wanted to look at right now. Instead you plaster a smile on your face and pull all the emotion you needed too into playing your role for just a little longer. Hoping Kamui hadn’t noticed anything that might give you away.
“I hope you have a good reason for being late,” you joke, poking him in the chest and he only stammers out an apology. He was a little too easy to tease.
“There was a- “ he paused, looking away. “There was a what?” You pressed, sly grin widening. “A cat, ” he mumbled, embarrassed. “that almost got run over in all the confusion,” he defended.
“I always knew you were a softy Kamui-Ichi,” You teased good-naturedly.
You squeeze his shoulder and the ribbing stops as the two of you were just discussing what you were going to do about the muscle head whose part of the crew in charge of a string of robberies lately.
The rest had slipped away in the chaos.
“We keep being a step behind, we have to do better,” your words are low and spoken so only he can hear you. It’s been no secret that this crew has been making a fool out of the heroes who wind up chasing them. They’ve been dubbed Resurgence, but it's their leader the mastermind behind each and every successful hit.
It didn't help that every time their scapegoat was caught he was effectively let go, with the team escorting him to Tartarus unable to provide any details on how it happened, their memories seemed to be altered and in some cases, completely wiped.
“Report Gemini, ” Edgeshot had arrived on the scene, you frown slightly surprised and yet not that your boss had shown up, it wasn't just your reputation on the line after all. He’d become increasingly frustrated that this group kept slipping through their fingers making quite the mockery of all involved.
You efficiently relayed everything that happened to the current moment. How you’d been patrolling and had stumbled upon them as they had fled. You gave chase, but in the confusion, you were left chasing Mr. Humanoid Godzilla over there. You should have been able to do more, you knew this was your fault, but if you were honest you couldn't be too upset. You were alive and that sentiment couldn't be shared with the others who faced them and were left in far worse shape than a scrap or two. You got lucky and you tighten your fist all, too conscious of that fact.
“Let’s double back to the bank,” Edgeshot advises and as a team you head that way it was only a few blocks and traffic wasn’t permitted to pass around the area. Mt. Lady was currently guarding Mr. Godzilla, you hadn’t bothered to remember his real name, it had been in the file this morning, but well you had paid more attention to his looks and his quirk than feeling it necessary to remember his name. It will come back to you eventually.
The bank doesn’t seem very special and you head for the door first as the others are talking a few paces behind you discussing possible scenarios. Your hand curls around the door and pulls it open just as the door opens fully there is a rush of heat and explosion as you’re thrown back.
Edgeshot had reacted by pulling you from the explosion, before you could get hurt by any of the buildings as it exploded outward. You react on instinct, even as you're pulled back into the air your body hardening, golden gemstones extruding from every visible area of your body, even as your fingers curl into the fabric of his shirt, as he pulls you closer. “Careful, you’re bleeding,” his voice was hard to hear around the ringing in your ears, but you nodded after a moment as he set you down in the middle of the street and the three of you were left to stare at the rubble of the bank as several other Heroes arrived on the scene to put out the fire, and help with clean up miraculously no one had been hurt.
Your phone buzzed again in your pocket and you swallowed as it vibrated again signifying a call coming in, your hands were clammy as you stepped away from your boss and put a little more distance between you. Your face grim as you were all too aware of the camera’s recording every second of your life. Your heart was pounding in your chest, he knew and he wasn’t happy.
--------
It was a few days later before you could convince Eizan to agree to let you go out with Nemuri at a bar she regularly frequented, you hadn’t been expecting any visitors, it was just supposed to be you and her and then you wouldn’t be lying. He always knew when you lied to him. Luck wasn’t on your side, not when two other Pro Heroes showed up, not when he'd shown up with Hizashi. The meeting hadn’t been planned, but they had been invited to join all the same, Nemuir didn’t realize the predicament she was putting you in, the danger. Nemuri knew so many heroes sometimes you were still left with your head spinning trying to keep up with them all.
Eraser overheard what you had said about your boyfriend, his most recent show up at your interview, how he’d been possessive, harboring a quiet anger over the fact that your interview had been a surprise appearance with you boss Edgeshot, you were there to dispel the rumors of any sort of romantic relationship, a picture that the was running had been of the two of you just a tad too close to each other, but there hadn’t been anything to it, but it hadn’t looked great either way, not when his arm had been around your waist as he’d used his quirk to swiftly curl around you and pull you out of harm's way, only to reform with his hand along your hip and your fingers carefully pressed against his chest, bleeding from a blow to the head. Shinya Kamihara had handled the situation well, and you had too, you knew what to do in these situations, but that didn’t mean the internet wasn’t blowing up either way.
After the interview you’d stepped off stage and Eizan had been there, chatting with your coworkers like it was the most casual thing in the world. Shinya had given him an accessing stare and looked to you, you gave a subtle shake of your head and he didn’t comment, but he wasn’t happy and you could have sworn you saw concern in his gaze when he’d left the station, but he hadn’t made a comment or a scene and instead let you handle it.
Aizawa had shared a quiet look with you before he left to get a drink at the bar before he and Hizashi would join you at the table. Leaving you to finish your conversation with Nemuri in private. She’d placed her hand gently over yours and softly told you that you needed to drop him, that he wasn’t safe for you to be around.
“He was just in the area, ” You grin widely as though to help ease her misgivings, hoped that your smile would be bright enough, convincing enough to hide the truth. You knew she had a right to be worried about you. It hadn’t been a secret that Nemuri wasn't his biggest fan when you guys had started dating. You had been too blinded by love to see him the truth and now you were in far too deep to get out.
You knew that, deep down you knew and the reason you hadn’t left yet was because you were in denial, and then deeper than that was the fear and then shame that you were in this situation in the first place.
It kept you up at night as you wondered what signs you had missed, this sort of thing happened to others, you saved people from abusive relationships and yet here you were in the exact same situation and it was suffocating. It felt like you were walking on a tightrope and it would snap at any moment if any more weight was put on your shoulders.
The conversation didn’t go much further into the subject once the boys came back. The night wore on and eventually you were the only one still sober, nursing a coke with some ice. Your limit was one drink, and that was it, you knew your limit and you had to protect the pretty glass house you had built. If you had a little too much, you would spill your guts to anyone who would listen. You dirty little secret exposed to the world.
Aizawa had stayed with you at the table and sipped his whiskey occasionally, his muscular arms exposed at the forearms as his dark grey long sleeved shirt was pulled up and he leaned his cheek against his fist. You hadn’t expected him to stay there once Nemuri and Hizashi went to play a game of darts as drunk as they were.
Instead you two had talked quietly about life, UA, the hero world and eventually movies and books. He’d warmed up to you after your animated telling of how Kamui had rescued a cat today and how you two had gone back and dripped the little guy off at a no-kill shelter after your patrol was over.
It was crazy for you to get along so well with anyone, most of all a guy who you’d just met, who didn't shut you up or seem like he wanted you to talk about something else. He listened to you, really listened.
You always had to be on, to say the right thing, to have your hero persona on.
This, this was just you, just (Y/N). No special title, just a young woman in way over her head.
“You should be respected and trusted,” the words were soft and you glanced at him, seeing the way he nursed his whisky, but wasn’t nearly as intoxicated as Nemuri and Hizashi as the two played darts in the back. “No man should own you.”
His words wouldn’t normally have caused tears to fill your eyes. You knew that, you knew that, but it was sort of like a wake up call. You blinked and a tear trailed down your cheek. You hastily reached up to wipe it away, an apology on your lips, but he beat you to it. His thumb brushed gently over your cheek as he wiped it away, you shouldn’t have leaned into his hand. It was just so nice, so warm. It wasn’t laced with possessive rage.
“Don’t apologize, ” he cut it, a soft smile curving up his lips.
You stare wondering if he can read your mind and he only slowly draws back and gives you a soft smile before taking a sip of his whisky.
The sounds from Nemuri as she lets out a screech of trumpet has you twisting on reflex toward the noise that he had ignored, but glanced toward once the laughter at Hizashi’s groan. You were just about to thank him for the advice; when fingers curl around your wrist and jerk you from your seat, you stumble in your strappy heels. Only barely managing to catch your feet.
Your mouth is shooting off before you can formulate or stop your words. “Who do you-” the words die in your throat as you take in the form of someone who has their fingers tight along your wrist and they only seem to tighten as he glares at the dark haired man with his hair pulled back into a low ponytail and tipped up, exposing his sharp features.
‘What is he doing here?’ You can’t help but wonder.
Aizawa who had set his glass down and was watching the scene with displeasure in his dark eyes and barely banked anger. He had been taught to respect women, he may have been brash, and inconsiderate sometimes, but he knew what not to do. He didn’t like what he saw, but he was giving you a chance to handle it. He didn’t want to step on your toes, but his hand tightened into a fist under the table, as the other was relaxed and curled carefully around the glass.
“Baby, I thought you said you were getting drinks with Nemuri, you didn’t mention anyone else would be there,” he pulled you closer to him, his grip bruising your slim wrist with the mark of his fingers. You wince, unable to help the movement...to hide it. This side of the abuse is what you desperately tried to hide from the world, you were (Y/N) (Y/LN)...the slightest negative news about Gemini could topple everything you’d been working so hard for. Everything you built and he knew that.
“These are friends of Nemuri, Eizan...her coworkers from UA High. Don’t embarrass me, please. People are starting to stare,” she dropped her voice at the last part, but it wasn’t low enough that Aizawa couldn’t hear every word. He’d also noticed that Nemuri and Hizashi were coming back to the table, Nemuri looked furious like she was ready to go to war for you.
“Embarrass you?!” he suddenly exclaimed loudly, as he jerked you closer forcing you on the tips of your toes, any higher and he’d have you off the ground as he stared with angry eyes down into your own. “Fucking seriously (Y/N)?” he sneers. “You’re embarrassing yourself out here dressed like that for all the men to see. Just trying to get a quick fuck, is my cock not good enough for you, now that you’ve gotten a taste of fame Gemini?”
For a moment you are stunned into silence, unable to formulate a set of words to go with what you had just heard and been accused of. You’d never cheat on him...that was then’t who you were. Guilt courses through you though anyway, as you wonder if you had done something wrong and then you were angry, angry because you hadn’t done anything!
‘You should be respected and trusted,’
Those words from earlier give you an unexpected rush of conviction in your next action, a rush of resolve. You dropped your weight and tried to gain back your footing. “Let go Eizan, just let me go! I’m out with my friends, you don’t get to act like an obsessive jerk!” Her gaze slid to the people who were starting to notice, and someone had their phone out. “Just go home, we’ll -” you fumble here, finally telling him completely what you wanted. “We’ll talk tomorrow.”
‘No man should own you.’
You can tell by the way his eyes widen he’d never expected you to attempt to turn this around on him, to make it out like he was the bad guy here, no he expected you to apologize like you always did. He was so hyper focused on you that he almost didn’t notice that Nemuri had come up on your left, her bare hand flush against his chest as she waited to shove him back or activate her quirk and put him to sleep and gladly watch him clumple to the ground. Hizashi was next to her, his hand on her shoulder, his eyes hard behind his glasses and Shota was on your right, his hand curling and tightening on his wrist, his grip was heavy, hard and held no remorse.
Eizan balled his hand and shot a nasty glare toward the man with long black hair. He was stronger than he looked, but now that he gave him another closer look, he recognized him. He was Eraserhead. Did everyone just think you were going to spread those pretty little thighs for them if they came to your rescue?
“You heard the lady, I suggest you take a walk before we get the authorities involved,” It wasn’t a threat exactly, there were plenty of other things he’d like to do, but Aizawa didn’t want to cause anymore of a scene, too many people were paying attention to them and some had heard your name dropped.
Eizan was livid and the look he shot Nemuri was murderous, it was clear who he blamed for this level of defiance. He smiled slowly and released your wrist and somehow that made your heart pound in your chest with a rapid cadence, so loudly it was all you could hear. It left you with such a stark fear, that you were sure something gave you away, because he slowly raised his hands, palms out in front of him. “We wouldn’t want any trouble, of course not,” he said passively, he gave up too easily but it was clear to you as he widened his smile in your direction for a moment before he turned and headed for the door he’d come in...this wasn't over.
“(Y/N)” Nemuri’s touch was gentle on her hand as she raised your wrist that had dropped to your side, the skin already darkening with a heavy bruise, one you knew you’d have to hide tomorrow. Her touch was so feather light you hadn’t felt it, still struggling to try and hear more than the pounding of your heart.
You didn’t wait to watch him leave, you were suddenly in a twist of limbs and legs as you blindly got some space as quickly as possible darting between your little group and shot for the restroom in the back, you didn’t run, but you moved with a stumble that was clear of the alcohol in your system. The shaking started the moment you shoved the door open, your arms curled around your shoulders as you shoved your fist against your mouth to silence the broken sob that tore from your lips.
No. No. No!!!
This isn’t over. You saw him, you saw him, you saw him!
Those were the only words your mind wanted to shout in your head as you flashed back to the look on his face, the dangerous glint in his eyes.
You were in trouble, you knew that, something bad was going to happen, something was going to happen, he was going to get even with you, he was going to hurt you.
“(Y/N)” the sound of your name spoken softly had you tensing, but you knew who it was, you knew the sound of her voice and somehow, somehow it made everything so much worse. You couldn't hide it now, everyone knew, everyone had seen.
It was another crack against your armor, another break in your chain, it exposed who you wanted so desperately to hide from the world.
Her arms were thrown around you as she drew you against her. “It’s going to be ok,” her words were soft and low in your ear.
Someone telling you everything was going to be ok, holding you with such care...it broke what tiny shred of your self control remained, your knees buckled and heavy soul wrenching sobs were expelled from your body as your fingers curled into the back of her shirt.
Nemuri sank to her knees when your legs gave out, she held you as you cried.
Outside Hizashi and Aizawa lingered outside the bathroom door, they had seen just a glimpse inside, but even the closed door couldn’t stop the sounds from escaping. Hizashi shoved his hands in the pocket of his jeans and looked up at the ceiling as he leaned his head against the wall. “What a night,” he muttered as he pressed his shoulder against his friends. Aizawa was silent for a long while, his gaze on the door, he was going over the night in his head looking for anything he might have missed. He knew leaving either of them alone wasn’t a good idea, not tonight...not for a while. Guys like that didn’t just give up. He sighed softly in the dimly light hallway. “Yeah,” he agreed as he let his gaze drift to the hand that he’d wiped your tears away with.
He knew he wouldn't be able to let this go.

PINK
(Oikawa Tōrux reader)
WHO AM I?
Words count: 2.686
Summary: It’s well known that soulmates exist: when someone turned eighteen a lock of his/her hair becomes a different colour. Every soulmate has a different colour.
Not a request, but open to it ✌🏻
If there was a thing you hate with your whole being, it was Oikawa Tōru.
The bad blood between the two of you began when you were little.
You were the same age, you lived in the same neighbourhood, and your mums were friends; they pushed you to play with him and Iwaizumi.
It was there that your problems with him surfaced: he proclaimed that you couldn't play with them at volleyball because you were weak.
That comment irritated you. Not because it was baseless but because it was true: your health was weak, and you knew it.
But being reminded of it? You didn't like it at all.
Throwing in your awful temper, you ended up dogfighting each other.
The same happened over and over again: he was capable of offending you every time you two met at the playground.
On the other hand, your relationship with Iwaizumi was remarkably good: you two could have talked about Godzilla for hours without end.
Oikawa was bitter about that and sometimes tried to divide the two of you, Iwaizumi was fast at throwing a ball to him. You always laugh hysterically at that scene.
You and Oikawa attended two different elementary schools. If you were happy about not having him in your school, you were also sad because that meant that Iwaizumi wasn't there too.
At the age of eight, your health finally improved and you were able to be part of the volleyball team of your school.
Seeing how much you were good at it, your parents decide to enrol you at Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High.
Even though you loved your Junior High's volleyball teammates, for three years straight you were in the same classes as Oikawa.
You two become famous across the school cause your animated and frequently fights. Iwaizumi had to always stop you two before you started throwing punches to each other.
At some point, during your second year, there was a rumour about you and Oikawa going out.
«Me going out with a coyote–ugly like her? Never!».
Iwaizumi wasn't fast enough to stop your punch: Oikawa's nose started bleeding so profusely that the school sent the boy to the hospital to see if it was broken.
In order, you were scolded by:
•The principal of the school for injury one of the best volleyball player.
•Iwaizumi because you should stop punching Oikawa, you weren't five anymore. He praised your punch nevertheless.
•Your coach: the school had a strict way to deal with this kind of situation, so you had a week of suspension.
•Your mum, because you should have known that punching someone wasn't the answer to your problem.
The next time you saw him, you were obligated to apologize to him. His smirk almost made you punch him again, but his words surprised you: «It was a pretty strong punch that I didn't think you were capable of, so I will accept your apologies».
Being said that from Oikawa made you blush, he acquired you at his level.
After that, your relationship wasn't comfortable but bearable.
The first time you two touched without evil means, was at the end of your third year.
You had just arrived home from practice when you found your dad crying in the kitchen. Your mom flung, leaving only a note in which she informed you that she had finally found her soulmate and wanted to follow him in America.
You run away crying.
You knew that your parents weren't soulmates: your dad lost his soulmate in a car accident and your mother didn't found her soulmate yet when they met.
But her leaving the two of you so out of the blue? That was a stab in the back.
You run and run, and run until you crashed into a wall called Oikawa.
He and Iwaizumi were out for buying ice cream and take a walk in the neighbourhood when you went crashing on them.
Seeing you crying gave at both a panic attack: even Oikawa was worried about you at this point.
When they heard your story they decided to keep you company, Iwaizumi called your dad to let him know that you were okay.
Oikawa put an arm around your shoulders and brought your shaken body close to him. He didn't let you go, not even for a mere second.
With your mother gone your life changed abruptly.
Your father decided to left you with your grandmother while he returned to his job as a war reporter.
Living with your grandmother wasn't easy, money being the first problem.
After finishing Junior High you decided to enrol at Karasuno High School because it was near your new house. You also chose to stop playing volleyball to work.
You were hired at the Sakanoshita Store after pleading for three days straight and promise Ukai that you wouldn't fell behind in your study.
While you become friendly with your boss, you also made friends at school: on your first day, a classmate recognized you; his name was Daichi.
At first, he was too much to handle for you: Daichi always asked you about volleyball and why you didn't go to a better school, but after you explained your current situation, he understood.
He decided to help you with your study so you could continue working without a problem.
Thank him you befriended Sugawara, Asahi, and Kiyoko too.
But you didn't forget about your old friend: you used your free weekends to meet up with your old team and with Iwaizumi. Sometimes he would bring Oikawa along but most times it was only him.
During your second year, Ukai decided to give you fewer work hours. Seeing you a lot freer, Kiyoko started to ask you to help her with her manager works.
In that way, you grew more and more tangled with the volleyball club activities.
Your eighteen birthday happened on the first day, of your third year: when you weak up a lock of your hair was coloured in pink.
When Ukai, through your third year, decided to train the Karasuno volleyball club, he brought you along knowing how much you were attached to them.
That marked a new chapter in your life, as a manager for the team.
The moment Takeda announced that the team was going to have a practice match with Aobajohsai, you utterly knew what was approaching.
The jaws of almost every member of Aobajohsai and Karasuno team dropped the moment you roared Iwaizumi name and jumped on him.
He caught you without a thought and hugged you tightly, he missed you almost as much as you missed him.
The only ones who didn't get startled were the ex–alumni of Kitagawa Daiichi, they knew pretty well who you were.
Iwaizumi complimented your pink hair and said to you that whoever would your soulmate be, he had to have a chat with them before anything.
The match was going great when he appeared.
Five seconds, only five seconds and you and Oikawa were at it again. Karasuno players were a little astonished at seeing you all railed up, spitting salty fire against the boy.
Even Tsukishima was impressed at how much venom you could eject.
Seeing you with a lock of pink hair, did a number on Oikawa. He couldn't admit it out loud, but he was irritated at the thought of you belonging with someone other than him. In his volleyball–centred mind there was always space for you: some days he asked Iwaizumi how you were doing while other days he couldn't stop thinking about you.
The match was over before you knew it: seeing Oikawa shocked face made you really happy.
He hated it, though.
He wanted you to cheer for him and Iwaizumi like always. Why were you cheering for Kageyama team and not his?
The next time you met Oikawa was at the Interhigh preliminaries. When you met up with him and Iwaizumi, he was clearly upset with you.
«You will regret that you aren't cheering for us», he said before going elsewhere.
You asked Iwaizumi what was wrong with him, but he was as clueless as you.
Oikawa was right: Karasuno lost, and you cried with your teammates.
But you and the other members of the club weren't people who liked to lose.
During the Tokyo training camp, you and the boys levelled up quickly.
At some point, Bokuto saw you dug up a ball that almost hit Yachi. He went up to Daichi and asked him who you were, sure that those weren't the moves of an amateur volleyball player.
Karasuno's Captain replied to him with your athletic background and, boy, if Bokuto was excited when he found out that you were an ace!
He constricted Akaashi to set up a ball for you to spike.
«Once an Ace, always an Ace!», he said to you with a smile.
And he was right.
Even though you didn't practice properly in about three years the moment you saw a ball up for you, your body responded naturally.
Your run-up, your jump, and your spike were beautifully in sync with the ball; the sound of your spike made everyone silent.
Bokuto really hoped that you could go back to volleyball soon because you were really talented.
In a blink of the eye, the training camp was over and you were back in Miyagi for the Spring High Preliminary Arc.
The first who discovered it was Hinata: on the second day of the Preliminary he encountered Iwaizumi and Oikawa near the bathroom.
The eyes of the redhead couldn't stop gawking at the lock of coloured hair of the Aobajohsai's Captain: they were pink, your pink.
Didn't really know what to do about the information, Hinata ran to Daichi and Sugawara. The two boys almost feint at the news but decided to not say anything: they need you to be calm and collected.
But shit went down the moment you all headed to the bleachers to watch Aobajohsai's match with Date Tech: it took you twenty seconds to notice it. Oikawa hair was the same colour as yours.
Iwaizumi felt your heated glare on him. He knew he screwed up; he wanted to say to you that Oikawa was your soulmate but how?
You two were like dogs and cats! You always fought while talking! How could he say to you that his best friend was your soulmates? Via text nonetheless!
Even Oikawa didn't talk to him about his pink hair when they appeared one month prior!
When Date Tech lost all the members of Karasuno heads for the playground but you. It was Kiyoko's turn to stay on the bench anyway, so you decided to pay a visit to Iwaizumi.
When Oikawa saw you, he smirked but you ignored him. You were on a mission: kill Iwaizumi.
When the Ace noticed your angry face, he literally climbed Matsukawa. The poor MB found himself in a crossfire: you were twelve centimetres smaller than him, but that didn't stop you from jumping and hit the boy on his shoulders.
«YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME, HAJIME!»
«YOU WOULD HAVE KILLED ME RIGHT AWAY! THROUGH THE PHONE!»
«WELL, I MIGHT KILL YOU NOW!»
Everyone who was watching laughed his ass off. Even Kyōtani was amazed by it: was Iwaizumi really scared of you?
Oikawa, knowing that you would kill their ace, decided to intervene himself: you had to talk it out.
Grabbing you from behind, he lifted you from the ground and dragged you away saying that he will be back in five minutes.
You cursed the ten centimetres gap that allowed him to do that.
When he put you down, you realised that that was the first time you talked totally alone. It made you blush.
The two of you didn't have long so decided to meet the day after and to talk everything through.
He freaking light kissed you before going off!
«Fortune kiss! Please, cheer for me today!».
When you joined Yachi, you were a blushing mess; the continuous smirks he sent you, throughout the match, didn't help.
The fact that Oikawa's Pink was your Pink, did a number on Kurusano players too.
They couldn't leave you in the hands of such a man before giving him a proper lecture. They were ready to win, not only to avenge themselves but to intimidate Oikawa too.
They literally roared: «DON'T LOOK AT HER!», every time he glanced at your direction. Oikawa's fans understood what was going in five minutes, they deliberately glared at you with all their might.
You wanted to bury yourself so bad!
The match was nerve breaking, your knees almost gave out more than once.
After the match ended, you excused yourself: you wanted to party with your baby boys but your soulmate, and your best friend, needed you more.
The second they saw you, they were right in your arms.
The next day you seated yourself next to Oikawa for watching the finals of the preliminaries.
Both of you decided that it was the best time to talk.
For the first time in forever, the two of you discussed without shouts, punches and sarcasm.
When Oikawa explained to you how he had decided to leave Japan for Argentina, your heart stopped beating.
You hated Oikawa, everybody knew that, but he was always there, always present. Even after you started to live with your grandmother you always checked his twitter or you asked Iwaizumi how he was doing.
A life without him? That was a giant NO GO.
Amid the panic, your hand moved on his own and grabbed firmly Oikawa's arm; as in trying to keep him there.
The boy was surprised at your reaction, not in his wildest dreams he thought you would panic at the news, he took your hand in his gently and kissed it.
«We were fated to be together, we will make it work».
His words almost made you cry on the spot, but Iwaizumi decided to interrupt that sickening view.
Obviously, he had to reach his two best friends when they were declaring their love for each other! Not that he was against it: he waited for it for fourteen years!
He knew it was going to happen the moment you two met at the neighbourhood playground.
But, please! You were in a gymnasium, watching a match in which your team was playing!
You couldn't wait for this talk, did you?
Even though Iwaizumi struck you both on the head, you laughed at his irritated expression.
The funny thing was that you and Oikawa actually made a miracle happen.
While he went directly to Argentine after High School, you had to study your a*s out for a year - with the help of Sugawara and Iwaizumi – before you had a scholarship and enough money to move there to finish your degree.
Meeting Hinata in Brazil? That was funny as sh*t! Not only he freaked out when you told him that you started playing volleyball again, and in a few months you were about to become an Argentine official player, he almost fainted when he noticed your wedding bands.
Obviously, he had to take a picture and sent it to all his contacts. Daichi and Sugawara, that were discovered to be soulmates, video call you that same night for an explanation.
Clearly, you were the one who proposed to Oikawa.
The two of you were miraculously able to have a vacation in the same period, so you decided to go back to Japan to visit your families.
You knelt down, ring in one hand, right in front of Disneyland's castle in Tokyo and asked Oikawa to marry you. His injured knee gave out, and he fell on the ground from the shock but shouted yes nonetheless.
Iwaizumi was there, watching the whole scene while eating a Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream.
«WHY DO YOU HAVE TO ALWAYS DO SOMETHING SICKLY SWEET, WHILE I AM LITERALLY BESIDE YOU? I AM STARING TO FEEL LIKE A PRIEST NOT A VOLLEYBALL PLAYER!»
«You are our priest, Iwa–chan, we couldn't do any of this without you».

for the "send me a ship+sentence", but it's a song lyric: Supercorp + "I know I've kissed you before, but I didn't do it right" (Mitski)
( @swankserene , this one's for you. And it is also too long, so... whoops?)
'I know I've kissed you before…'
It's startling, almost, how warm Lena's forehead is under her lips. She's finally fallen asleep, having daintily downed three bottles of a nice red on her own over the course of… well, who knows how long really. Lena doesn't stir, and Kara sighs gratefully, pulling away and rolling gracefully to her feet. "You're sure you've got her? I can stay, I know Ruby probably has school…"
Sam shakes her head with a sad smile. "Nah, don't sweat it. I have this routine down pat by now. She's gonna be asleep until at least noon tomorrow."
More startling than Lena's drinking is the word 'routine' being used to describe any part of it. "Right. Um, call, if anyone needs anything?"
"I will, but we won't. Go get some sleep, Kara. I've got her handled."
"Okay." Kara steps into Sam's arms, quickly finding herself wrapped up in the sort of hug only a worried mom can give, all reassurance and softness and home. Kara clears her throat as it tightens at the wash of memories she associates with these sorts of hugs, stepping out of the embrace and adjusting her glasses. "I'll see you guys tomorrow."
'But I didn't do it right…'
Lena's nervous.
Obviously she's nervous- giving a speech to several hundred people is never a fun event for her, Kara knows. But there she is, all the same, climbing the steps up onto the stage, her patented work smile fixed in place as her eyes dart around the crowd. Kara grins, pretends to stretch as an excuse to raise her arms over her head, and when Lena spots her, a smidge of her real smile peeks through. Kara waggles her eyebrows, spreading her hands a bit to show off how exactly in the middle of the crowd she is. All the easier for her friend to be able to see her while she's talking.
Lena huffs fondly, takes the podium, and gives the speech that Kara had helped to write, one they're both happy with- proud of, even, especially when one of Kara's jokes pulls a good laugh from those gathered. Lena finds Kara then, and Kara grins at her, a little smug, and blows Lena a big, exaggerated kiss. Lena had wanted to leave that joke out, and so Kara figures she can rub it in a little that it went over so well.
Lena chuckles at her antics, rolls her eyes, and continues on.
Kara relaxes back into her chair, watching as the previously tense crowd does the same.
It really is a great speech.
'Can I try again…'
Noonan's is stupid busy, even for them, even for brunch on a Sunday. It'd taken almost an hour and a very annoyed name drop from Lena for them to get a table, but she, Sam, Lena, and Alex have been coming here for brunch for like a year, so all these newbies can shove it, for all Kara cares.
Lena and Alex are sharing an entire pot of coffee between them, Sam having opted for tea (something about a headache) and Kara, of course, went with their hot chocolate.
"How can you drink liquid sugar at 10 in the morning?" Alex asks. "Hot chocolate is for cold days outside."
"How can you drink that caffeinated sludge ever?" Kara shoots back.
Alex's mouth drops open in shock, and she cups her hands protectively around her mug. "Kara! The magic bean water can hear you!"
"They need their go juice," Sam says safely. "You don't wanna see that one sans coffee."
Lena's affronted. "Excuse you, we're both lovely regardless of our morning coffee.
"Speak for yourself, Luthor," Alex grumbles, humming happily as she sips. "Mama needs her coffee."
"And you are not lovely when you go without, don't try to lie to them," Sam chides. She turns to the Danvers sisters. "She once locked herself in the server room- which is freezing cold- because she left her half-empty, ice-cold coffee in there."
"Yeah, sounds about right," Alex agrees. At Lena's look, she shrugs unapologetically. "Hey, I'm familiar with your work."
"Traitors, both of you," she grumbles. She turns to Kara with her best puppy eyes. "I'm nice before coffee, right?"
Kara squeezes Lena's hand, bringing it to her smiling lips and pressing a quick kiss to the back of it. "You're always my favorite," she says, neatly sidestepping the question.
Lena grins smugly at the others. "See? At least Kara loves me."
Sam rolls her eyes, Alex starts in on Kara because 'Since when am I not your favorite?', Kara jibes back, Lena pretends a bit under all the commotion she's caused as she drinks her coffee, and all is right with the world.
'And again…'
Movie nights are a necessity to Kara. Movies are a good chunk of how she figured out how to be human. They've always been a part of her life on earth.
So when she'd heard Lena say "I haven't seen that one" a few too many times, she'd declared that best friends need to educate one another in pop culture and started catching Lena up. Once a week, they settle on Kara's big, squishy couch in their various styles of pajamas, armed with junk food and every streaming service known to man. It's slow-growing, because usually Lena has to bail after just one or two movies because of work, but they're starting to make real progress. Just last week Kara had started a quote from Tangled, only to have Lena finish it.
She'd rarely been so proud.
Tonight is different, though, because they're watching movies that Lena has seen but Kara hasn't, and neither of them have work tomorrow. They've powered through a frightening amount of pizza, their snacks are scattered over the coffee table, and they're just setting in for the third classic Godzilla movie when Lena scoots a little closer to Kara and drops her head on her friend's shoulder.
"Sleepy?"
Lena shakes her head, her hair tickling against Kara's neck. "You're just warm."
Kara chuckles, dropping her arm across Lena's shoulders to pull her in closer and planting a kiss on the top of Lena's head. She grins when it makes her friend go just a little more boneless against her. "Sure."
Lena grumbles at her, which is offset entirely by how she burrows further into Kara's side.
Halfway through the movie, she's wrapped up in Kara and several blankets, snoring lightly on the blonde's chest.
Kara doesn't mind.
And again…
Lena's been getting really good at starting up acts of affection, and is a lot less panicky now when they're directed her way, accepting them as what they are rather than some sort of trap.
So it's been a lot of her initiating hugs, grabbing Kara's hand when she wants to show her something, looping her arm through Kara's when they're walking together. Little things.
So when she'd given Kara a quick, distracted peck on the cheek as she darted out of Noonan's and back to L-Corp, it's totally fine and normal that Kara's a little bit giddy all day. She's just proud of her friend is all, happy that she feels safe enough with Kara to let her walls down. It's a nice feeling that has nothing to do with the phantom feeling of Lena's lips on her face.
Nothing at all.
And it keeps happening.
Outside CatCo, when she drops Kara off after an early lunch/late breakfast.
Leaving Alex's apartment after game night, Lena gives her a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.
When Kara pays for tickets to that weird foreign SciFi Movie Festival that Lena's been talking about for weeks.
Over and over. But only to Kara. Everyone else gets a hug and a squeeze, no kiss.
And if Kara preens at the attention just a little, well that's nobody's business but hers.
She mentions this to Sam and Alex one day when she's collecting them from whatever drunken adventures they'd gotten up to the night before and both looking worse for wear.
"You know," Sam drawls, "people tend to show affection the way they want to receive it."
"Really?"
Alex nods enthusiastically, suddenly more lively than she's been all day. "Oh, yeah. I read about it in a psych book."
"Maybe you should try giving her a kiss on the cheek," Sam says with a shrug, and if Kara wasn't driving she'd have seen the mischief on her friend's eyes.
"Huh. Okay, I'll do that, then."
She doesn't see the looks this statement receives, either.
**
It's totally an accident.
Lena goes for a hug after a movie night, and Kara knows what's coming by now- kiss to the cheek, tight hug that's never long enough, step away, say goodbye.
Easy. She'll give Lena a cheek-kiss before the hug part.
But she gets stupidly nervous for some reason and when Lena turns her head, so does Kara, and her mouth lands sorta sideways against Lena's.
They both freeze.
After half a beat, Kara pulls away, lets out an awkward half-laugh, adjusts her glasses. She knows her face must be flaming red. "Oh. Sorry, I didn't. I missed?"
Lena smiles, cocks her head to the side. "It's okay. I don't mind."
'Oh.'
"Oh." Kara adjusts her already-straight glasses again. "I um. I didn't mind either."
"No?"
Kara smiles shyly, shakes her head. "No. But, um… would you mind if I maybe tried that again?"
Lena's smile isn't one Kara's seen before, but she could light up the eastern seaboard with it. "Not at all."
"Cool." And she steps into Lena, and Lena steps into her, and it's everything.
'And again?'
"...so then, the bad guy was shooting this laser beam at me, and I had to fly super fast to beat him. But don't worry, I win every time."
"Do you?" Lena asks from behind her book, clearly amused.
"I do." Kara's hands slide over Lena's stomach, slick with delicious-smelling cocoa butter that Lena won't let her taste.
"Every time?"
"I got you. That's all the evidence I need," Kara says, flashing her a charming grin.
"You flirting with me when I'm fat and crabby is exactly why I married you, you know," Lena informs her.
"I thought it was my nice butt. And you're not fat."
"That's just a bonus." Lena tossed her book onto the couch and works her fingers into Kara's hair, scratching lightly at her scalp until Kara's practically purring under her ministrations. "Keep telling me I'm not fat with that much conviction. I'll never believe you, but it's nice all the same."
"Can do."
"How's the little one?"
Kara closes her eyes, tips her head to the side. "Sleeping."
"I figured- I haven't been kicked in the ribs for almost an hour."
Kara winces. "Sorry. I know it probably sucks, but it's legitimately the coolest thing ever, to me, that you can just… make a human. Like that's insane."
Lena chuckles, cupping her wife's awestruck face lovingly. "It's not so bad when I have you babying me. Not everyone can get authentic Thai at 3:30 in the morning."
Kara shrugs unapologetically. "Other people need to step their game up." Her head cocks suddenly to the side, and Lena knows what's next before Kara even says anything.
"Duty calls?"
Kara sighs, frustrated. "Yeah, car crash on the bridge. Won't take too long, traffic is just too bad for the EMTs to get to them for like, an hour."
"Be safe."
Kara's gone and back in a blur, now wearing her super suit instead of pajamas. "Always." She presses a kiss to Lena's rounded belly, pulling a laugh from her wife when she seizes her chance and licks some of the cocoa butter off of it. "I'll be back, I have more stories."
"Do I get a kiss too?"
Kara rolls her eyes playfully. "But I already give you so many!"
Lena shrugs. "You knew I was needy when you married me."
Kara huffs at her, grins, leans down, and kisses her deeply.
"You're slippery," Lena mumbles against her lips.
"Cocoa butter."
Lena hums, pulls her into another quick kiss. "You were right, it does taste good."

The Language of Limbo - Part 2
Pairing : Chris Evans x Plus Size Reader ; Marvel Cast x Plus Size Reader
Warnings : Language
Word Count : 2.3k
You've been preparing yourself for the past two months, each day getting more and more at ease with the movements of your fighting scenes. One of the highlights of one of your rehearsal session was the day where you met Evans for the first time.
You were currently finishing up the first half of the session and Mason granted you a break. You sat down, took a gulp of your water and noticed your shoelaces untied. You leaned down and were in the middle of tying them when a deep but calm voice spoke up beside you. "Hi there." You looked up and felt your heart beat faster than ever, due the fact that your celebrity crush stood in front of you. "Hein?", you breathed out, mesmerized by his handsome face and blue eyes. He chuckled and you looked elsewhere, your face flushed in embarrassment. You stood up and finally replied back with a shy smile, "Hi". "It was some cool moves you did back there", he commented.
"Thank you but the credit really goes to Mason, he's the real pro here", you chuckled and pointed towards your coach. "Perhaps but you did good, you deserve some credit too", he told you and slightly pumped his right shoulder against yours, which surprised you. A wide smile appeared on your face and thanked him again. "Are you casually training here or …", he asked intrigued. "I'm actually Marvel's new…", you started but then realized your mistake. "Oh shit", you covered your mouth. His eyes widened and his mouth opened in a 'oh' motion. "You're Y/C/N, aren't you?" You switched from leg to leg, uncomfortably for spoiling your arrival into the production. "Nope, don't know what you're talking about", you faked, heat invading your whole body. He laughed loudly before comforting you, "Hey don't worry I won't tell anybody. Your secret is safe with me."
"Oh God, I'm fucking it up already", you chuckled nervously. He laughed again but eventually calmed down. "Well nice to meet you. I'm Chris but something tells me you know that already", he whispered with a smug smile. You nodded and replied, "Yeah, nice to meet you too. I'm Y/N." He was called from the other end of the room and turned back at you to tell you goodbye. "I guess we'll see each other soon Y/N", winked and jogged towards his own coach. You face-palmed and cursed yourself for ruining your contract's confidentiality closure. "Y/N, are you ready?", asked Mason at your left. You jumped a little, not expecting him standing next to you and he laughed at the gesture, "Sorry". You shook your head, hand resting on your heart and affirmed him you were ready for the rest of the training.
It was now the day before the first table read and you were beyond nervous. You were unable to eat properly during the day, had trouble to focus on your lines and when you decided to go to bed early, you couldn't sleep. "Goddammit", you breathed out in frustration, your eyes glossy because of the stress that was invading you. "Deep breath, inhale, exhale", you repeated in the darkness of the room. Silent tears cascaded your face, the pressure too much to bear. You finally got a grip on your emotions and eventually fell asleep.
A couple of hours later and you definitely didn't woke up like this. You grumpily marched towards your bathroom and hopped in the shower, the warm water splash on your sore body. Half an hour later, you were showered and dressed. You took your script and grabbed your car keys, settling for the Studio's direction. You had 3 hours in front of you until the table read but because you couldn't sleep well, you decided to head early and grab a coffee on your way. You parked your car and walked to a close park, settled down with your script and looked at the sunrise shining in front of you, the small breeze refreshing you. You went over the script, reading it one more time and hoped for the best. Even if you were cast for the movie, the table read was a crucial step. If you didn't show professionalism right away, it wasn't uncommon for directors and producers to let go the person and recast someone else.
"Y/N?", you heard beside you. You turned around and saw Elizabeth Olson stand in front of you, confused on seeing you after so long. "Hey, Elizabeth how are you?", you stood up with a wide smile and hugged her. "I..I'm fine, what about you? What are you doing here?", she asked happily. You chuckled and simply replied you had a work meeting without revealing that it was for Marvel. "That's amazing. I'm so happy to see you again after what, 5 years?", she continued. You nodded, "Yeah sorry I know we were supposed to stay in contact after 'Godzilla' but life just got so crazy", you apologized to which she shook her head. "Tell me about it. When it's not filming, it's press touring. I know how that feels but I'm really glad I got to see you again. We'll have to go for lunch one time."
"I'm happy too and yes, we definitely have", you smiled widely. She checked on her watch and frowned, "I'm sorry but I have to go." "Of course, no problem", you reassured her. She hugged you goodbye and you smirked in anticipation, the surprise being totally unexpected. You checked your watch too and slowly made your way to the meeting point. When you arrived, you saw a line of A-list actors standing in front of you, their backs turned at you. You felt your body slowly begin to tremble in excitement and fear and took a deep breath to calm your nerves down. You bowed your head so that no one would pay attention to you and waited at the end of the group. No one seemed to notice you, each one of them focused on their respective conversation. There was laughter, friends happily chatting and reconnecting after months apart. "I know you missed me", giggled Robert Downey Junior. "How couldn't I", replied someone who's voice wasn't familiar to you.
"Who got to read the whole script this time?", asked Anthony Mackie. "I did", replied the original 6 Avengers (Evans, Scarlet, RDJ, Hemsworth, Ruffalo and Renner) simultaneously. "Lucky bastards", someone else joked. You chuckled slowly but was cut short when you heard someone mention your character's name. "We have no idea who it is", commented Mark Ruffalo to the rest of the audience. Your lifted your head cautiously to try to get their facial expressions when you made eye contact with Evans who was already looking at you. Your eyes widened and you immediately bowed down your head. The next thing heard among the blabbering was Chris' loud laugh. "What's so funny?", asked Scarlet in amusement. "Oh nothing, I'm sure whoever will play Y/C/N isn't very far."
It was at that precise moment when Kevin Feige, the Russo Brothers and the casting director entered the room, "Hello everybody and welcome back", greeted the Marvel Studios' president. "Here we go again for another 4 intense months", he continued to which everyone hollered in agreement. "As per usual only a few selected among you got the opportunity to read the whole script, such as the ones part of the original 6, Benedict Cumberbatch and Marvel's new addition." Your eyes almost popped out of your skull when you heard you actually had the true and whole script in your hands. You quickly figured out that they were testing you, seeing if your were trustworthy and what Feige mentioned next confirmed your suspicions. "Since there's no spoiler out there, I think we did the right choice in choosing Y/N Y/L/N to join the production." You heard someone gasp and recognized her voice. "No way?", exclaimed Elizabeth ecstatic. "Who?", asked RDJ confused. You had to chuckle at his puzzled face, being well aware that they had no idea who you were besides Elizabeth or maybe the ones who saw you as an extra or small role in a movie. "Where is she? Y/N?", called out Kevin Feige. You took a deep breath and raised your arm. "There she is. Will you step out of the shadows and come here, please?",he asked amused. You did as he said, crossing the assembly that had split in two just like the Red See, allowing you to step closer to the men in charge. "Hello, it's an honor to meet you", you said shyly towards them since you hadn't had the chance to meet them yet. They greeted you in return and you positioned yourself next to the casting director Mr Stewart who smiled widely and side hugged you eagerly, happy to see you again.
Everyone sat down and the table read began. You weren't really sure if you had to recite your lines with a neutral voice or already get into character. You already had done a table read before but never such an important one. You watched as the others actors around you sounded far more as their characters than themselves and decided to act along, your voice resonating the way you wanted for the character and your facial expressions matching the situations occurring in the script. You knew you had to prove that you were the right choice and felt everyones eyes burn your skin, whether in evaluating you, in concentration following the lines in front of them or just because they were intrigued by what you could bring to the dynamic already set in place.
"We're going to stop here people because the rest are quiet the spoilers for the rest of the cast and we wouldn't want that, would we", said Kevin Feige while ogling Tom Holland, making the young men shake his head in amusement. "Yeah, yeah I know, the Spoil-Machine right here", he joked. You chuckled along the rest of them and your eyes met Elizabeth's, who smiled while lifting her thumbs up and you smiled brightly at the gesture, happy to have at least an acquaintance on set. The Marvel Studios' president exited the room, leaving the Russo brothers and the actors behind. You felt a little tap on your shoulder and turned on your left side, coming face to face with Mark Ruffalo. "Hello there, I'm Mark", he said and you chuckled. "Hi, I'm Y/N, it's nice to meet you." You caught Robert Downey Jr jog behind Mark until he stood beside him. He looked at you with a wide smirk and commented, "What do you think about the original science bros? Not bad right?" Your eyes widened and giggled nervously but before you could say anything, Elizabeth and Scarlet were beside you. "Don't scare the poor woman already, Downey", said Scarlet. Lizzie grabbed your attention by hugging you. "You sneaky little thing. I can't believe you didn't tell me when I saw you outside that you were casted. Wait does Aaron know?", she blabbered. You laughed at her enthusiasm, "I'm not allowed to say anything I'm sure you know what it is like and regarding Aaron, no not yet."
"Who's Aaron?", asked suddenly Chris Evans out of nowhere. Elizabeth rolled her eyes before telling him it was Aaron-Taylor Johnson, who's also part of Marvel's family and your best friend. Evans nodded attentively while you tried to calm your nerves down, feeling heat creep your body noticing that he was coming closer to where you stood. When his blue eyes locked with yours you were done. It took you a few seconds to realize that he was talking to you. "Excuse me, what?", you mumbled. He chuckled and replied while presenting his hand, "I'm happy to officially meet you Y/N". You shook his hand and had to control yourself to not smile, because he knew you were casted before anyone else, thanks to your clumsiness. "Nice to meet you too." "I'm looking forward to work with you", he commented and winked, before joining another group of actors. You swallowed harshly, took a deep breath and turned towards the people in front of you, who were smirking. "Hmm I can't wait to start the shooting", implied RDJ, mischief shinning in his eyes and voice. You nodded shyly, not able to look at him or the others in the eyes, still impressed to be standing next to so many talented people. "Do you have any ride for tonight?", asked Jeremy Renner. You frowned not really understanding his question. "Ride?"
"Yeah, all the actors are invited for dinner at the Russo's Restaurant", commented Hemsworth. "Oh I didn't know, I'm probably just gonna grab something and eat at home", you responded. "Nonsense, you're part of the team now, you're invited too", quickly said Joe Russo who caught the conversation. "Alright, thank you then’’, you said with a wide smile. "So, the ride?", said Renner again. "I came here with my car so if anyone needs a ride and besides I don't really know where the restaurant is", you blabbered. "Let's just split then, if that's ok with you", mentioned Scarlet. "No no problem at all." They gathered everyone and started to form small groups. You ended up taking Chris (Evans), Elizabeth, Scarlet and Jeremy in your car. You were marching towards the parking when you remembered that your car was garbage compared to the hot wheels they were used to drive. You chuckled nervously and declared, "Sorry it's not a Royce Rolls but it rolls". Sensing your nervous and cracking voice, Elizabeth calmed you down, "Don't worry Y/N." You clenched your jaw and gave her a small smile, not convinced and slightly ashamed. Having Chris sitting next to you wasn't helping you calm your nerves down. You connected your phone to the radio and decided to put on your favorite artist of the moment. You pressed play on and Lizzo's song Juice came on. You immediately felt the pressure release and began to mumble the words to yourself while focusing on the road. "This song is awesome, who is it?", asked Chris besides you. You told him more about Lizzo's music and saw glimpses of him attentively following you talking so passionately about the artist in question.
You soon arrived at your destination and entered the fancy place. During the evening the actors insisted on you switching places at every meal served, so that you could chat a little with everyone. "So anyone in your life, Y/N?", asked Mackie with a smug smirk. You almost chocked on your drink not expecting it and cleared your voice, "Nope not at the moment." "Hmm interesting", he feigned and looked at the others. You frowned but eventually shook your head in amusement. It was starting to get late and you decided to cut the night short, everyone getting where they were standing. You dropped the actors at the Studios where they had their cars but noticed that Chris had just a tab to much to drink. "Hey where do I drop you?", you asked him this time concerned. "What?" You chuckled and told him that you would give him a ride because you didn't want him to drive in his state. "Ohh I can hold my liquor", he arguments. "Come on, I won't be able to sleep peacefully knowing that you drove all the way and not knowing if you arrived safely. Let me take you." He raised one of his eyebrows, smirking when you realized how that may have sounded. "I mean…let me take you in like drop you at your place." He cracked up seeing you try to justify yourself before telling you the hotel he was staying. It wasn't far away from the Studios and told him goodnight. "You seem like a cool person. Goodnight Y/N, see you soon." You smiled and replied, "Thanks, you seem like a cool person yourself." You saw him walking inside the building and chuckled to yourself, "This man will be the death of me."

Bored, so I'm doing the whole thing. Just watch me.
1: Island's name is Kiva. Long ago, in the before time, when Lucas still owned Star Wars, the extended universe was wide and varied. There was a kids book series called Galaxy of Fear. (The first 6 books were good, after that it kinda lost the plot, I thought.) Anyway, the first story arc ends on this planet called Kiva where we learn the Empire did horrible things (shocking, I know) and plot twists happen. I had a fan character whose name I use for everything these days, Vaiya. She was from Kiva. It was the first thing that popped into my head when the game asked me to name the island. If I could change it now, I would.
2: My dailies include digging up fossils, looking for my bottle on the beach, talking to my villagers, planting money trees, watering my roses hoping for more gold ones, keeping an eye out for lillies of the valley (I think I have 6 now!) and checking the shops. And depending on the daily visitor, I might collect some things too.
3: I have themes for certain areas of my island, but not one for the whole island. I've got a pirate area, a faire, a workout area, a forest-y fairy-esque area, a graveyard, a spooky castle, and a vaguely godzilla scene. I'm gonna have a mad scientist's lair eventually, but that's a few weeks off at least.
4: I do! Got it a few weeks ago! I put it off for a long time, but finally got things organized enough to make it work.
5: Probably Stitches, but dang do I love most of them. I thought Stitches was a girl at first for some reason. He's just so cute and huggable and adorable and I love him. Julian and Knox come very close seconds.
6: Hm. That's hard. I absolutely love Flick's character design and that he's an artist (I also thought he was a girl at first too, lol.) But I also love Pascal's.... eccentricities. And Celeste and Blathers are both adorable in their own ways.
7: I do give gifts, when I remember to. Often I buy them and then let them sit in my storage because I forget about them. Usually outfits that I think would look good on them.
8: Depends on what they ask for. Usually not because I'm a collector, and they ask for things in my inventory that I want to keep, but sometimes yes.
9: Absolutely. (Except for the one time I forgot, and when I was looking at my encyclopedia and noticed I hadn't donated a very common fish, and was like... really? And then of course, they became impossible to find for the next hour.)
10: Hm. Depends. Would we be donating them or would he be buying them? If buying, yes absolutely. If donating, I guess it would depend on the day and how much stuff I needed to buy from the shops.
11: I like the aquarium best, but the fossil exibitis a close 2nd. I'd like the art gallery more if it were more full. Lol.
12: Rarely. I have poor luck with turnip prices.
13: Neither? I like swimming and diving best. If I had to choose tho, fishing I guess.
14: I like the bug-off prizes better, but the fishing tourney is easier if you have fish bait.
15: Sea bass, 100%. The grapes aren't as good at LYING to you, and don't wear down the duribility of a tool.
16: Yeah, he can have 'em. I don't mind. I love hearing his weird quotes of the day, and watching him crack the shell open and eat the scallop is just adorable, and a really nice detail.
17: I like the in game clothes, but only because I'm to lazy to bother making designs. And it's a pain to take them on and off if you don't have them linked to a wand.
18: Of course, though not as much lately. She did tell me today that I made her sister Label happy when she last visited. It was cute.
19: With my main? Tommy, because he needs a voice instead of being just an echo. With my secondaries? I just run to the middle of the 2 if them, press the button, and whomever the game decides I was facing is the winner.
20: Yep. I tried not to at first, but I would absolutely get bored of the game if I didn't.
