So I finally watched Robin Hood (2018) and these are my unasked for thoughts. This got pretty long so I’m putting it under a readmore.
First off, I knew that the time period was off, I was made well aware that the movie is far better if you go into not expecting it to be placed in a consistent time period, but I thought people were exaggerating when they said that the movie couldn’t decide what time period to be set in so chose all of them but like, they were right. This didn’t interfere much with how invested I was in the story, but there were times here I thought this movie could very well be set in some sort of weird, post-apocalyptic world because there was such a mash of time period stuff in there so yeah, it didn't even try to be accurate there.
I don’t think this actually made the movie worse though. In fact, I’ll even go so far as to say that the movie was actually better for it, as it allowed them to do stuff that they overwise wouldn’t get to. I get why most people didn’t like that part of it but like, it was weirdly nice. It was different and yeah, it was a bit jarring to basically see crusaders wearing kevlar, but I think it worked for this movie. It was different from the many other Robin Hood movies that have been made throughout the years and the off-kilter time period appropriate stuff helped with that. It isn’t the only reason I think this Robin Hood stands out from the others, but it is a contributing factor.
I shipped Robin and Marion in this movie more than I have ever shipped any other version of them, including the Robin Hood bbc show which, while not nearly as good in retrospect, was one of my favorite shows growing up and that version of Robin and Marion was one of my first otps.
First off, they had an established relationship at the start of the movie and the way they met is like, one of my favorite tropes (and was kind of reminded me when Vin and Elend first met in Mistborn.)
I may be wrong as its been a hot second since I watched any of the other Robin Hood movies, or even the show, but they seemed more balanced (especially compared to the show) than in most movies. Also, the actors had chemistry which not all movies have had in my opinion.
They just complimented each other so well, especially compared to the other iterations. They were both actively working for the right thing (as usual) but despite both having their own separate plans in place, they didn’t know of each others plans until over halfway through the movie. In spite of this, when they did interact, it was golden and full of yearning and also pain on both sides (though for different reasons) and it was golden.
Additionally, Marion wasn’t the damsel in distress as usual. Which, even when they try to make that not be a thing, is always in the movies (and especially the show. Or rather, robin viewed her as a damsel in distress and I gotta stop myself there because I could write a whole essay on their relationship in the show and I will do that someday but today is not that day.)
Anyways, yeah, Marion was actually like, in distress, in a damsel in distress type of way literally once and then it didn’t feel like a damsel in distress situation. She had her own story outside of Robin and that is both rare and refreshing. Her and Robin played off one another so well, balancing out, working together in their actions like WangXian in battle.
Speaking of Robin, I loved him, he is my favorite Robin yet. And Marion is my favorite Marion yet as well. And John. And very possibly Tuck as well.
Yahya (John) was amazing and I loved his friendship with Robin. He is literally the reason for Robin’s actions, even more than Marion in a way. And he is just awesome. So badass, an admirable strength of faith, I love him.
Will. I liked Will (up until he screamed at Marion to never speak to him again). Yes, he had a lot of ambition, but ambition is not inherently bad. Having ambition, strong ambition, is not bad, yet so many times in fiction we are given a different message. Was he kind of selfish and self serving? To an extent, but so is everyone. He did a lot for the people of Nottingham, worked hard not only to elevate in his social status, but to help those suffering under the sheriff. He was a light to the people of Nottingham and a light to Marion. It just so happened he was not the light they needed, and when it came to it, he was against taking a different route which, well admirable he wanted everything to be solved peacefully, was not going to help. At first I thought the movie would have been more enjoyable (solely because I wanted more content). Roughly halfway through the movie I realized no. The time constraint in the movie effects the story in such a way that it is better as a movie. I thought I’d do a dive into the things this movie gave me to think upon and the conclusions I drew from it but this is already like three pages long and it’s 3 am so that is coming later. (maybe, assuming I take the time to write it out and if anyone is remotely interested although then again I might just write it for me.)
Anyways, yeah, in the end Will turned evil. He crossed the line he had drawn for himself with his  no violence rule and I guess he decided to commit and instead of taking the time to adjust his moral compass and stuff he decided he’d be evil instead, letting ambition drive him to power and his inevitable doom in which he probably realized he done fucked up. Or maybe before that he slowly came to realize he needed to get over himself and went back to the light. Or, you know, he just committed, and was the bad guy until his last breath. It was an open ending so anything’s possible. (The reason I spent so much time talking about this is because I am upset that they went that way. I saw where it was heading, and I hoped it wouldn't happen because it’s just overdone at this point but then again if it ain’t broke don't fix it.)
Anyways (Yes I say that way to much even when typing I’ve just given up at this point) I need to go to bed. I’m kind of sad I didn’t touch more on both robin and Marion as individuals, nor did I touch on Yahya who was one of my favorite characters. But a lot of what I have to say about him kind of has to do with the stuff I want to make a separate post about later. Also, I didn’t even mention Tuck but again, he is going to have a significant part in my later post. That one is going to be even longer as in addition to my thoughts about the themes in the movie is one of the underlying themes religion which when I talk about it is either very short or very long. Sorry if this is to rambly-ee, again, it’s 3 (almost 4 now) and I'm tired af.
Long story short, good movie, enjoyable, favorite Robin Hood movie to date.

Collar X Malice Part 2 - Okazaki Kei Route
Tumblr media
I wonder how Okazaki's route will go, since instead of focusing on a case, Ichika  wants to broadly focus on her reason for being a police officer, namely to protect people. Anyway, other than it being sad to see Mineo rather cold after his super cute and sweet route, I also find it saddening that we have to start all over again with Kazuki and their strained relationship😭 Anyway, Yoshinari is a pretty funny guy, he's like Mineo, capable but silly lol. I guess it's convenient that Okazaki will wake up when he hears a gun taken out of its holster lol. But yeah, it was obvious that Okazaki knew who Ichika was, there's no way they could have hidden that. Anyway, Okazaki saving her from a bunch of guys and then holding her hand was cute. I think he's right that even if it feels weird at first, to feel someone's warmth when you're scared really helps to kinda calm you down. Well, okay, Ichika is pretty ridiculous. Lol, like I can forgive her for trying to rush into a raging fire to help someone the first time but for her to try a second time?? I'm glad Okazaki shouted at her because that was beyond reckless. She has no protection, no plan, no idea of anything and she wants to save someone that's at the centre of a blazing fire? Even if she's panicking, that's pretty crazy. Not to mention that this was a park, she really should have focused on helping people around her who could be injured or feeling sick from the smoke etc. Anyway, Okazaki helped her come to her senses so she really should thank him for saving her life tbh. I know Ichika is inexperienced but I feel like this incident made it seem like what she lacks is common sense instead, but I'll give her the benefit of doubt since someone was burning to death in front of her, and that's difficult to accept and endure knowing there's nothing she can do.
Tumblr media
I honestly feel terrible for Sugawara. I can't imagine how frightening it must be for her to be stalked for such a long period of time with no one to help her, and then having the guy wanting to kill her and himself, that's pretty crazy and I feel so sorry for her. I can see why she would trust anyone who saved her from this situation when the police obviously didn't. Omggg, there were two stalkers?! I can't imagine her frustration and fear to be relieved from one stalker (since they got arrested) and then end up being stalked again, like seriously that's absolutely crazy and I don't think any person could handle that. Okazaki pulling his gun out against Ichika (after finding out about her collar) was pretty dramatic. Seems like the memory erasing thing happens to everyone who gets captured? Anyway, I honestly felt so bad for Sugawara when she felt that being imprisoned as a criminal was better than going home and getting stalked again, it's just so saddening.. I think it was really cool and strong of Ichika to tell Okazaki to shoot her if he ever believes that she is causing things to go wrong in the investigations, it's like she's leaving her life in his hands knowing that he will make the "correct" decision. I've always admired Ichika's determination. I do feel bad for Okazaki though. Reporting Ichika to his superiors or not is a difficult decision, especially considering how seriously he takes his job. I think Ichika's thoughts really hit the nail on the head on why I just don't feel on board with her and Okazaki together. Like yeah, they're cute but I agree with her that it doesn't feel like Ichika exists in the depths of his heart, rather he is looking for something from or inside her hoping that she has it because of the "kind" person she is, and yeah apparently he's found it and wants to protect her and believe her, but I just can't help but feel that he's not really looking at her for her?
Tumblr media
Okazaki's texts are so cute with the emojis lmao. It's also sweet how they share tidbits of their everyday life with each other. HAHAHA, I nearly died from laughter when Okazaki talked about how his robot vacuum "ran away" and never came home because he left his front door open😂😂 Okazaki buying Ichika flowers first thing in the morning to try and cheer her up from her lack of progress with the recent X-Day case was so sweet. Anyway, I have to agree with Mochida, it's really frustrating to be practically the complaint hotline department for the X-Day incidents but know nothing of the progress or results to properly reassure the public. Like literally, all they do is try and soothe people and their anger but have nothing to really inform them about, it's like they made this department just to have some people take the brunt of the complaints so others can work "easier".
I didn't think that the rough looking guy that's a part of Adonis was actually a policeman before! Doesn't help that he looks pretty different from his photo that's at least 5 years ago... I feel like that's so saddening though, like one superior ruined so many young cops lives. Honestly, hearing that one of them has been in a mental asylum for years, and the other one left the country and never came back really kinda shows how traumatised they were by whatever happened with that "bad" cop guy that died. I feel so terrible for Sanjou and all those rookie cops Todoroki crushed mentally and physically with abuse. They all desired to be a policeman to protect people and all had dreams they wanted to fulfill, and they all endured because they believed in their justice and protection, but in the end the only thing they got was injustice and hatred from the people they tried to protect because of Todoroki's mistakes. Honestly, no matter how meaningful my job is, I don't think I could endure all that, so I'm not surprised Sanjou has resorted to becoming who he is. Sure, he's going against his principles back in the day by hurting people, but even though a part of him is still there, at the same time, he's definitely tired of everything. The thought of the moment he finally broke really tore me because thinking about all he endured is painful. On the other hand, it's interesting he thinks that Adonis can replace the police itself since really Adonis in other routes and kinda here is wrought with problems and people who are reckless and don't really have a clear goal aside from revenge. Unlike him, most of the people besides the leaders don't care about making society "better" because they're focused on their own pain and justice for themselves. Not that they're wrong to do that since Adonis chose them for that reason, but it's also because of that that Adonis is a mess that won't be a rebirth of a proper version of the "police".
I don't know if any sane person would really chase after Sanjou when Ichika's recklessness got Okazaki injured, and she's definitely useless in a battle without him, not to mention tending to his wounds are probably more important right now lol. I mean, it's not like I don't understand Takaeda's position and the need to quell the anger of the public with how incapable the police have been in stopping the X-Day crimes etc, but can't he at least be a bit more subtle with how dodgy he wants to be? Lol. Who parades around telling moralistic police officers like Morioka and Minegishi to just arrest all the suspects and not care about concrete evidence or solid alibis??? Like yes, these actions will totally make the public think you're great the moment anyone complains and this comes to light lol, like seriously. It's such a silly short term fix to the problem that I have no idea how he even thought it would be a good idea. Honestly, I would be pretty mad if I was Ichika and Okazaki said he wanted to die protecting her since he's looking for a meaningful way to die. Like excuse me?? I knew the whole protecting thing wasn't really about her even though he liked her to an extent, but I would be so annoyed if someone was "using" me like that. Sure, she needs someone to protect her and it's perfect since he doesn't really care about his life, but it's frustrating to think that in the end, how much does he really care since it's like he was just looking for someone that's kinda nice but at high risk of dying? Loll. It's like she as an individual was never really in the picture for him. I know he doesn't mean it maliciously but yeah... Something nice to see in this route is Kazuki reaching out and caring for Ichika himself because he was worried about her getting hurt, it was cute how he told her to take a day off because she's an underling anyway so it doesn't matter if she goes to work or not🤣 It was also nice to see them properly communicate by themselves, however I do think that the only reason this is happening so smoothly is because they want to get this part out of the way loll.
Anyway, Okazaki's inability to understand Ichika kinda pisses me off but Ichika isn't really communicating when he doesn't understand, so they're both wrong lol. However, I hate it when people apologise without understanding why they're wrong, like it's cool to apologise for hurting the other person, but it's not cool when you're going to insist on what the other person is mad about, so really, you might as well not apologise and instead try to communicate about the problem instead. Also, I feel sorry for Sasazuka and them, they're trying to solve the X-Day cases and here are Ichika and Okazaki having a lovers quarrel, I'm honestly glad they told them to get out and come back later because they're definitely useless to the investigations right now. I also don't really care for how Okazaki suddenly "realised" he likes Ichika and just straight out publicly confessed to her, because I personally don't feel it lol but other than that, I'm not fond of love confessions like these lol. I think what annoys me the most is Okazaki's flippant attitude as if nothing is wrong and it's not a big problem? Like he's handling it in his own way and I'm sure he's serious about it but the way he does it just pisses me off. I liked the way he was in the beginning but I guess when it comes to conflicts, his attitude is one of the worst to handle. Yoshinari is such a sweet guy, I don't know why but I feel like he's dodgy loll. Anyway though, sorry if I'm wrong, Yoshinari!
Tumblr media
Anyway, hearing Okazaki's story really helped me understand him a bit better. Personally, the bit where he said rather than guilt for causing his colleague's death, he was more scared of dying the same way as his colleague in such a "meaningless" death kinda clicked with me. Maybe it sounds really derogatory and negative to myself, but for a long time, I've felt something similar to Okazaki in a sense, like I wouldn't actively look for danger like him, but if I were in a life threatening situation with my family or friends, I would hope that I'm the one who would die protecting them rather than the other way around. It's just, when you feel like your life is meaningless but others' lives have "value", it's hard to not think that you would want them to be the one to survive rather than yourself. So honestly, it's kinda funny to relate to Okazaki a bit even though he's been such a frustrating character to me lol. At least now I can see why he's so persistent on finding a meaningful way to die, because I think he's right, if I was going to die some way or another, I would want to die saving someone important to me. It was really cute how Ichika kept trying to show him that if he died, he wouldn't be able to eat such delicious food or watch the next part of a movie next year. It really makes me think hmmm, I'd really like to see the end of One Piece so that can keep me going lol. Something I find interesting in the materials/notes is that the Adonis who attacked the Prime Minister Okazaki was protecting two years ago was the original Adonis. The Adonis in the present are apparently viewed as a dummy group of that one🤔 I feel like that's a pretty important detail for the future, like is this Adonis just inspired by them or is it the real Adonis~ Anyway, I think what I found most chilling about Okazaki's story was when Tsukishima kept saying it was Okazaki's fault things went wrong as he was dying from being squashed by the rubble that should have squashed Okazaki. He probably meant it in some other way since he obviously regarded Okazaki as important enough to save him but hearing that as someone loses their life is definitely something difficult to handle, like these are their last words and they're telling me it's my fault so they're definitely right kinda sentiment.
Honestly, I've been rather meh about this whole route, especially with Okazaki's attitude etc, but after he so honestly confessed his feelings to her when they were watching the horror movie, I couldn't help but melt to his words. He was so sincere and honest about how he enjoyed those little moments such as the silly texts with her that I couldn't help but feel touched. He's a frustrating guy but I really do like him. Even though I could understand Ichika for trying to protect Okazaki by going to Adonis, it also made me really annoyed because she was doing exactly what she got so annoyed about Okazaki doing, which is not caring for his own life, so her not caring for her own life when she promised him that they would find a way to live together made me mad. I'm glad Okazaki got mad at her, but I'm also sad that he felt hurt over it. Especially when he already told her that if she died, he'd probably just die too. I mean, there was no way Okazaki wouldn't notice how weird she was anyway lol.
Tumblr media
I guess I have to agree with Okazaki's statement though, everyone has something that they want to protect, and whatever it is that protects their precious something, that is what their justice is. In the end, what we deem as justice is what we believe can protect the things important to us such as other people, our friends etc, and that is also why even if our views of justice can be "similar", what it means to each person will be different, which also means that if we lose what we desire to protect, then our justice becomes meaningless. Anyway, I really like Sanjou. I like how he does what he wants and I guess to an extent, I can understand his sentiments of not caring about this world and dying. Honestly, Sanjou breaks my heart. When Okazaki told Sanjou to leave with him (as Sanjou bombed the place and decided to die with the collapse) and he said Okazaki changed, it felt like Sanjou was really happy for him because they both connected and understood how it felt to want to die. I found it most saddening that Sanjou understood Okazaki's sentiments that yeah maybe he could eventually find something in the future worth living for, but the problem was that he didn't have enough hope to keep living in this crappy world searching for it, and I think that really made me want to cry. It's just so sad that he didn't have someone like Ichika telling him how much they wanted him to live🥺 I wonder why the Prime Minister's son is a part of Adonis🤔
Tumblr media
I really thought I missed the trigger mode when Ichika seemed like she was dying lolll, TIL that you can check the backlog to see if the trigger mode was a success or fail so that makes things easier haha. I honestly think it would have been so tragic if Ichika died saving Okazaki though, I can't imagine having to shoulder the burden of two people you care about dying to save you and in hopes of you having a good life. Lmao when Ichika finally woke up in the hospital and asked Okazaki if he was angry at her and he sent her an angry face emoji😂 I nearly cried when Okazaki let out all his emotions over hating himself for not being able to protect Ichika properly, but I'm glad that he was so frank about all his feelings to her, it's really great how well he communicates with her now. It was nice to hear him think about wanting to be a grandma and grandpa together with her. The tragic love end was a bit disappointing though, I think it would have been better to see Okazaki have to kinda live a life fulfilling what Ichika wanted rather than kinda succumbing to death because he couldn't find a reason to live anymore, like it's understandable because he's said that he'd want to die if she died but yeah..
Tumblr media
Overall, even though I quite liked Okazaki's character, I don't think I can really say the same for his route. I guess I just found 80% of it pretty boring tbh lol, like the messages and interactions between Ichika and Okazaki were nice in their own way, but at the same time, because Okazaki was "using" her as a way to die a meaningful death, I couldn't feel the "love" he had for her imo. What he saw wasn't really her but what she could offer him, and that's pretty prevalent and obvious when you read the bad endings. However, I did really enjoy the last like 10-20% of the route, probably when they finally communicated and got to understand each other lol. It was nice to see Okazaki so honest and sincere after being able to wholeheartedly believe in a future where they both live, so I liked that. For me, the highlight was definitely Sanjou though, I think his story and character really got to me, and I'm super sad we couldn't save him (or romance him) because I think I ended up liking him more than Okazaki lmao. I still like Okazaki though, but the route was definitely lacking for me, it honestly took me a while to get through because of that lol. In that sense, I guess it made Ichika and Okazaki not feel like that great of a match for me, even though they were pretty cute.

Trick or Treat
Ship: Wonwoo x Reader Genre: Fluff, Halloween shit Word Count: 2.8k Summary: Wonu, a shy, quiet boy in your class, overhears you saying that you’ve never celebrated Halloween before. He makes it his mission to change that, since he loves Halloween, and just may have a thing for you… Writer’s Notes: breh I forgot to post this damn sorry lol, i got so super busy with work omgggg. also, I wrote this before the Halloween Vlive so wow thanks Minghao 4 wearing this costume and messing up my fic ugh lol jk ily anyways, hope u like it, this is my first ever Seventeen fic so yeah and it was rlly rushed tbh
-
“I can’t believe you’ve lived your entire life from childhood, into adulthood, without ever celebrating Halloween.”
Dara, the rather annoying, loud-mouthed girl who sat next to you in your poetry class, stared at you in utter disbelief after you had casually mentioned that little fact about yourself.
“I mean, it’s really not that big of a deal? It’s just not really a thing where I’m from and it’s my first year being an exchange student here so…”
She continued looking at you as if it were your fault that the entire season of Autumn chose not to exist where you grew up. Class had just ended and all the students were piling up behind you, eagerly trying to get through the doors and out into freedom. It was Friday, who could blame them? You cleared the door and tried to lose Dara in the crowd (lord forbid you’d have to listen to her drone on and on for another minute), walking quickly towards the library.
“Never celebrated Halloween…. Hmm….. But are you gonna celebrate this year, though?”
The question this time, belonged to a deep male voice. One you were sure you hadn’t heard before.
You stopped abruptly and spun around, causing a tall dark-haired figure to almost crash into you. You stared at him in surprise and mumbled an apology. He shook his head quickly, a small smile on his lips, and pushed his round glasses higher up his nose.
“You’re Y/N, right? I’m Wonu.” He introduced himself, his voice quiet and low.
“I…. didn’t know you talked to people” you replied, trying to remember when you’d ever seen him interact with anyone before. He usually sat in the back corner of class and almost always had his nose buried in a book.
“Well, I was curious. About your Halloween situation, I mean.”
“You know, I don’t see what the big deal is. But whatever, I have to go now anyways. Bye.”
You turned around and continued your quest, still a bit confused as to why the shyest boy in the world had chosen to talk to you about something he just randomly overheard.
As you walked onto the courtyard, you wiggled deeper into your scarf, the cold air biting at you. You noticed a shadow growing behind you.
“Are you following me?” You slowed down till you were walking side by side with Quiet Boy.
“I’m going to the library.” He said softly. “But you still haven’t answered my question, though. Are you gonna celebrate this year?”
You began walking up the library steps together. You felt most amused than annoyed by his persistence, so you continued to entertain him.
“I wasn’t planning to. Why are you so interested anyways? Are you the Pumpkin King or something?”
“Aha! So you do know Halloween things at least!” A look of almost victory playing across his face.
You both sat across from each other at an empty table at the end of the deserted library. You studied the boy as he reached into his backpack and pulled out a very worn out novel. You’d never seen him this friendly, or even happy. It looked good on him. He was a handsome guy, you supposed; with his short, messy raven locks, pretty lips, and dark, mysterious eyes. Really handsome, actually. You wondered why you’d never paid him much attention before now.
He looked up at you, your eyes meeting for a while.
“I just really like Halloween. And I think you’d like it too. You should go find some books about the history of it. I know you like that stuff.”
He quickly averted his eyes, blushing slightly from his oversharing.
“How could you possibly know what I like? We’ve literally never spoken before.”
His cheeks and ears turned a deeper shade of red. He looked into his book and replied, “I read your blog. And I always see you in here. You sit and research and write for hours.”
It was your turn to blush. “I-I didn’t think anyone I knew even read my stuff…” you muttered, heavily embarrassed.
He smiled again. “Well, to be fair, you didn’t really know me.”
“Wow, so you’re like a fan then?” you joked playfully. You both giggled, and you couldn’t help noticing how cute he looked.
You started thinking about what he had said. You actually knew quite a bit about Halloween, and you were totally willing to participate in some events. The problem was: you didn’t actually have any friends. Unless you counted Dara. (Which you totally didn’t.) This was only your fourth month here, and you’d been really focused on adjusting to school, and life in general, and hadn’t really had time to make friends. You knew a few people around campus, but not enough to call them friends. You wondered if Wonu had friends. What would he be like with them? Laughing and smiling? Funny? Serious? …..Cute?
Your phone buzzed in your pocket, forcing you out of your little daydream.
[4:01PM] Dara: I saw you talking to that creepy boy from class. Just be careful.
Creepy? You looked up at him, his eyes focused on the words in front of him, barely aware of what was happening around him. Creepy how? Yeah, he dressed all in black every single day and didn’t speak to anyone ever. But you definitely weren’t getting a creepy vibe from him. You ignored the text.
Wonu turned a page in his book, unaware that the way you were staring at him could probably bore a hole into his skull. You looked at the way his eyes flitted across the words, and how his tongue peeked out between his teeth. He was totally caught up in his own little world. It was adorable. You felt content, and finally reached into your bag for your laptop so you could write, thinking to yourself “ohmygod he reads my blog?!”
-
Somehow, your library visits together started becoming a regular thing. You’d both just ‘end up’ at the same table after class, him reading, and you writing, a comfortable silence between you two. It was a week after your initial meeting, and you both sat in your usual spots, this time, feeling just a bit too distracted to do any actual work.
“So you’ve never decorated for Halloween? Visited a pumpkin patch? Carved a pumpkin? Nothing?”
This again. You shook your head for each activity he mentioned.
“You’ve never been trick or treating?”
You laughed. “It’s not really a big deal! Besides, I’m too old for that one anyways.”
Wonu paused, looking at you incredulously. “Excuse me? Too old for dressing up in costumes and collecting candy? That’s the best part of Halloween! I can’t believe you’ve never done it before.”
You smiled at him and leaned your chin into your hand. “I guess I used to want to, when I was younger. But there was nowhere I could, and no one to do it with.”
The small smile growing on Wonu’s lips had a glint of mischievousness to it.
“Let’s go trick or treating, Y/N.”
He looked like an excited puppy. You, on the other hand, were simply confused.
“I’m serious! There’s gonna be a Halloween event on campus. We can dress up and walk around to the different departments… I think we’re all just trying to reconnect to our childhoods here, you know?”
“How do you even know about this?”
“I’m the Pumpkin King, remember?” he said with a smirk. “I’m kidding, my friends are the ones organizing it.”
So he did have friends.
-
Monday morning was fast approaching, your weekend had been a blur. You and Wonu had grown even closer via text, but you kinda wished you had gotten to see him over the weekend. You were simultaneously looking forward to your poetry class, and also dreading it. Dreading it, because there would be a randomly selected Haiku presentation, and you hated reading your work in front of anyone; but you were looking forward to sitting next to Wonu.
You got to class slightly earlier than usual and chose the seat next to the one he usually sat in. You knew it would be empty anyways. “Uh, Y/N? Why are you sitting there?”
It was Dara. Ugh. She looked from you to the door that Wonu had just started walking through and quickly got the picture. Quiet Boy reached his spot and stared at you, a faint blush rising on his cheeks.
“Mornin’” he whispered, while sitting next to you.
“Hi!” you replied, a bit too cheery, embarrassing yourself. Dammit, I seem too eager, don’t I? Your thoughts were racing. The majority of class passed with you sneaking looks to the boy next to you, constantly finding yourself blushing, and once or twice, catching his eye and seeing him turn slightly pinker. Your professor’s voice pierced the room suddenly, interrupting your sweet daydreams.
“Presentation time! Who’s going first?”
His eyes scanned the classroom, searching for either volunteers, or just someone unsuspecting to pick on. You kept your head lowered, anxiety wringing your insides, when you heard the seat next to yours creaking.
Wonu was standing up.
“Uh… I’ll try…”
You stared at him, a mixture of surprise and interest dawning on your face.
“This is… a, uh…. autumn-y thing, I wrote. Um, the theme was kinda open so… I just went with it-
In summer, I saw
Her in the sea of faces.
In autumn, I fell.”
-
Dara wouldn’t stop talking your ear off at lunch. She had heard about the Halloween event that would be taking place on campus and was gushing about what she was going to dress up as and who would be there and other boring things you tried not to take notice of.
“You should come with me! It’ll be your first Halloween thing! You can be something really cute and sexy!”
You turned to look at her, putting on your best annoyed expression.
“I’m already going. With Wonu.”
Dara faked a smile. “I thought you’d say that. Are you two dating or something?”
You sputtered, red tinting your cheeks already. “Wha- No. That’s – no – just stupid. Haha. No!
We’re friends. And he’s not creepy. He’s just… quiet.”
“Hmm. If you say so. I figured after that super obvious poem last class… Whatever.”
She walked away in a huff, much to your pleasure, leaving you to grow steadily more embarrassed just thinking of the poem and of dating Wonu. You’d be lying to yourself if you said you weren’t almost totally smitten by him. And even you had thought, or at least hoped, that the haiku he had written really was about you. Was he falling for you too? Did he even mean it like that? As if summoned by your thoughts, the Quiet Boy himself appeared at your side, taking a seat and grabbing some of your chips.
“Hey. I just got out of class.”
You almost choked on your drink. He was so friendly now, it made you both exhilarated and nervous.
“Hey! You nearly killed me, thanks.”
“Sorry,” he chuckled. “I wanted to ask you about the party.”
“Hm?”
“Did you.. have any ideas on what you wanted to dress up as?”
You definitely had at least 17 ideas. You’d never gotten to dress up for Halloween before, so you’d been toying with the idea of some classic costumes. But then, of course, there were the funny costumes. And memes. Would it be lame to try to make it cute or sexy? Stockings, mini skirt, and push up bra? Would it be weird to make it extra scary? Fake blood and gross scar makeup; the full works! You weren’t sure, but you knew whatever you picked, it had to be good.
“I don’t know yet. What about you?”
Wonu hesitated, shifting his gaze from your eyes and onto his hands. “I do. But it’s super cheesy.
It’s, uh, kind of a couple costume.”
You blushed a deep scarlet shade. You knew exactly what he was thinking.
-
Saturday evening found you standing in front of your mirror, applying blue makeup to your face. The costume Wonu had gotten for you was a perfect fit, and you couldn’t help getting more and more excited while you put yourself together. The doorbell to your apartment rang just as you were finished securing your long, red wig. The butterflies in your stomach became frantic with the realization that you were practically about to go on a date with your crush. (I mean, basically, come on)
You raced down the stairs and pulled open the door.
“Hey Sally”
Wonu stood in front of you with a smirk on his lips, looking absolutely handsome in his black and white striped suit and his face in matching paint.
“Hey Jack”
You giggled, feeling a bit ridiculous.
“Is this too much? We’re probably gonna get made fun of, aren’t we?” you questioned, locking your door and getting ready to head to campus with Wonu.
“Probably. But’s it’s definitely worth it. Don’t you think?”
You hummed in agreement, dropping into a synchronized walk with the tall guy.
You arrived on campus to see what could only be described as the Most Extra little Halloween village, complete with carved pumpkins everywhere, fairy lights strung from the trees, skeletons hanging on every corner and cute, spooky ghosts propped up against the walls. The place was crowded with college students mostly in costume, drinking, dancing to music, and just hanging around. A large number were making the trick or treating rounds, collecting candy (and sometimes shots of vodka lmao.) Wonu reached for your hand, and you felt your heartbeat quicken. You looked up at him to see him smiling, a soft blush rising on his cheeks.
“You look so excited. It’s way too adorable.”
He was right. You were the cutest right now, nearly bursting at the seams with delight, and now, even more so as he held on to your hand.
“Let’s go!” You both walked down the makeshift street, which was just the decorated hallway, stopping at each makeshift ‘house’, which were in actuality just classrooms. Each time you stopped, he let you be the one to knock and shout “Trick or Treat!” while almost erupting into laughter each time. At each of the ‘houses’, cute guys stood, giving out treats. They were introduced to you as Wonu’s friends, and without fail, they all teased him about the hand-holding thing. (And yet, he never let go.)
After visiting all the houses, and meeting all his friends, you settled on a bench at the end of the Halloween Street, already half-way through your third candy bar.
“So… I didn’t realize you were this popular. You’re so quiet all the time.”
He sat next to you, reaching over for some chocolate.
“Yeah, I just like to keep to myself. I mean, other than those guys you met, I don’t really talk to anyone else. I know most people from my classes think I’m some creepy guy.”
“I don’t think you’re creepy,” you said, smiling up at him.
“Even with the skeleton makeup?” he laughed.
“…it’s kinda sexy actually.” You felt your cheeks grow hot at your own boldness. Ohmygod, you actually said that.
You took a tentative look at Wonu next to you, who you were happy to note, was wearing a blush that matched yours exactly. He cleared his throat before fidgeting profusely and then said,
“So I … I hope you’ve figured out that this was a, um, date.”
You felt yourself growing braver and more playful at his returning shyness.
“A date? Well you never officially asked me, so I figured ─”
“Remember the haiku I read in class?” he cut you off. Your heart pounded a little harder, your previous glimmer of hope growing much larger in your mind.
“That was about you.”
Your heart practically stopped. In your head, you had turned into a teenage girl fist-pumping in exhilaration.
“Are you saying that you ─”
“I’ve been thinking about you since I started reading your blog. And since I started seeing you writing in the library.”
“Definitely a secret admirer then,” you smirked.
“Definitely. So can this be a date now then?” he questioned you, staring directly into your eyes, suddenly seeming braver than before.
You stared back at him, your gaze flickering briefly to his lips. He was close enough for you to feel his soft breath on your face. The makeup he wore over his eyes and cheeks honestly made him look hotter than usual, which was saying something. You nodded and were barely able to finish saying yes, when he moved forward, closing the space between you, and pressing his lips to yours. You leaned into the kiss, reaching your hand around his neck, and burying your fingers in his hair. You pulled apart from each other, after what felt like an eternity of innocent bliss, smiling widely.
“Good. Cause I really like you, Y/N” He stated, with the most confidence you’d ever seen from him since you started talking. He reached for your hand again, this time intertwining his fingers with yours.
You leaned forward slightly and pulled him in for another kiss. “I really like you too, Pumpkin King.”

Found a forum about Take That, also found some interesting discussion
Now it’s 4AM in the morning, I slept too much for past couple of days because of some flu and the medicine makes me drowzy and moody all the time and sleeping was very tempting. I should’ve finished my essay so I can get this one subject to more than a ‘B’ so I can still retain my dream of going to Netherlands this year. But here I am searching non-important things (or at least maybe it’s important for my curiosity), and tried to google if there’s any existing Take That forum. My standard is high with mygnrforum which is a super active and long term versatile fan forum of Guns N’ Roses, I even manage to find myself some friends there. The whole website is even made and funded by fans, active discussions from all age, nationalities, and genders, and even there was a time when Axl Rose decided to showed up to everyone’s surprise. But hey, obviously GN’R is bazillion times bigger than TT. I just saw their concert of same shit they’ve been singing for 35 years with terrible mickey mouse voice of Axl’s and people still went lit. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that I finally see my favorite rock band. It just hanging around with old fans give me sense of cynical for the band.
Anyway...
I went to thread that is talking about Odyssey. You may check it here: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=209704&st=440
The thread is actually meant for both Robbie and Take That fans. I found nice thread that talked about Reveal and even gave me snippets that I haven’t even seen before since I was too poor to buy Reveal. But what I want to talk about in Odyssey thread is the view of this person who definitely this kind of annoying GB Army you will find a lot around Thatters group or social medias comments sections. Try to start from the link I gave you. Here this person talks about the BBC Documentary.
Tl;dr the cynical side of Thatters and that for this lovey-dovey band, in the eyes of some of their fans they still are one of the most controversial band.
“Saw it  There were some tears involved here as well, but of boredom, unfortunately. Absolutely NOTHING new whatsoever and nothing of substance and, on many occasions, it felt like the Robbie and his backing singers documentary. The era starting with 2006 was almost brushed off, because, of course, Robbie wasn't there - most of the moments from this era were the ones with Robbie in it-, we had the neverending Jason eulogy, but nothing to actually celebrate the members that really carry Take That. And I realized another thing that pissed me off - in almost all the recent performances, Robbie had the silver jacket, to make sure he distinguished himself from the others - God forbid someone mistook him for just a member and he didn't take the center of the stage. I guess that, on a very superficial level, the documentary will do its job, it will sell the album, but I see it as nothing more than that - just a promo trick, without real substance. I hope one day we get a documentary that brushes off Robbie's coming and going and the boys' constant "guilt" over it and the Jason "I'm happy to enjoy the money I've made off the back of TT, but without TT" and actually concentrates on what Mark, Gary and Howard have been doing. I know I sound bitter and I'm probably blowing things out of proportion a bit, but, seriously, is it too much to ask, as a fan, to have one episode that doesn't involve Robbie? Gary's documentary with James was so much more fun and deep, at the same time. This looked just like a label-ordered film, with no other purpose than filling some pockets. I was really disappointed. And I didn't understand what was the whole thing of including their mums in this documentary if they gave them 2 minutes and didn't get anything of substance out of them? We got more time with the same old fans that appear everywhere and say nothing interesting. It would have been more interesting to just have 2 fans that actually had some stories to tell; the same for the mums - considering how crazy it got in the 90s, they'd have had a ton of stories to tell - they probably talked amongst themselves, but nobody was smart enough to include the stuff of interest in the documentary. Sorry, just because I'm a fan, I'm not gonna praise everything they do, especially when it's so shallow. Rant over “
I mean a documentary released close with release date of their Greatest Hits album obviously not for commercial purpose related, right? People already complain that it’s going to be only TT3 doing Greatest Hits tour and she wants this documentary only about TT3. I agree though that maybe there should be more Take That mums and less fan stories maybe. But I think she doesn’t understand that ‘We’ve Come a Long Way’ is not like ‘For the Record’ or ‘Look Back Don’t Stare’. The purpose of this documentary is celebrating and look back but with brighter light on their career in the past 30 years. Don’t expect bunch of guys look pissed and depressed in this one.
And when I say she’s definitely GB Army, just read it how she reacts around the other person who is more leaning to Robbie.
“Take That have been a UK (almost) only act since especially after Progress. Boy or Manbands do not sell well in the rest of Europe. It is not down to them only. The music taste is different. Robbie maintained his solo fanbase in Europe different to the UK more than TT. He sells out stadiums still. Progress was the unification all time height. Gary never sold well in Europe. And in the UK in the comments on FB, Newspapers etc (aside of the usual hate comments every public figure gets) you see that his political direction and the tax issue hurt his image. Robbie coming and going makes some people happy, some unhappy as you also realize in the comments even in this thread. But what really took mojo away is Jason leaving. And the miss of huge ballads. However, as long as they sell tours, even if it is for the live moment rather than TT - it is good for them as it pays millions in their wallets. In 10 years there might be a full reunion and then the Progress effect will set in again”
And this GB Army lady thinks Gary has no political direction. Then do tell me why people mocking him as Tory. I don’t understand UK politics. I always roll my eyes when I found random comments like for example at Kit Harington, sometimes he got called Tory too and ffs the dude never say anything about his political views, the reason he got called Tory is probably people mistaken him for being blue blood because he is the nth descendant of an Earl and married to Rose Leslie, whom her uncle is an Earl. But then again, it’s even written on his wikipedia page with article related, Gary did stated he supported David Cameron.
Oh this GB Army lady again...
“To be frank, I understand certain fans liked Jason and miss him, I personally don't. I'm probably one of the few people who don't acknowledge that "intelligence" and "wisdom" the others are talking about - that's probably because I saw really intelligent, academic people in the person of my professors and I know how that truly looks. I guess Jason strived to be intelligent and he probably read a lot, but, imo, he had no real in depth view of anything. I'm not saying, by any means, he was a stupid person, just that he wasn't any more intelligent than the others. I agree with you, though, about his contribution to the band - even if it was only for the moral of the group, he was good for them. But he chose to leave, he wasn't kicked out, so I don't see why the boys have to always go out of their way to acknowledge him - if "fans" attack them for this, then they're idiots. The interviews the boys did in November clearly showed they are annoyed of always being asked about Jason and Robbie - that's why I find this documentary to be more of a "guided" one - they said exactly what people expected them to say, regardless of how they actually feel.“
“As I've said, I agree that both Jason and Robbie's contributions had to be acknowledged, that's indisputable. What I'm saying is that Robbie's presence in the documentary wasn't necessary, given all he's done to the boys. He could have left them have their moment. I truly, truly despised him when he referred to them as "my business brothers". He's clever when it comes to distorting reality without many people noticing it. Maybe the III and Wonderland eras weren't as successful as the previous ones, but, given the context, it's no wonder. They were still successful and it was all down to Gary, Mark and Howard. 30 years of work and did anyone actually acknowledge these eras? Even Odyssey was brushed off. So, I have a problem with the program being called "We've come a long way" while we're only presented the beginning and some of the middle. Oh, and funny how Robbie uploads his new single on yt precisely the day the documentary airs! How convenient! “
There’s also some talking about TT downfall, how they can’t sell as much as they used to. Personally, I wanna know too from this side of the story, long term fan all the way to the 90s. And tbh their problem is also every musicians for all time and all place problem. Even Gary acknowledge this. They’re an old act. And that’s ok. Kinda agree that they made some bad decisions on songs and singles, but to me it’s related to the first problem. I stand with all the 5 lads so I don’t think Robbie came and left and changing the dynamic has something major to do. I agree that they’re lacking huge ballads now, but I still enjoy their newer songs tbh, The Jason one is quite intriguing though.
“I agree about the impact of Jason leaving. He may have been quiet on records but from what I could see he was --Robbie and Gary aside-- the next most popular member since they reformed. (**) I think Jason represented 'the good guy' and humble aspects more naturally than the others and this gained him droves of fans. He is very intelligent, including emotionally intelligent which made him relatable with everyday members of the public. The other four are nice though in my opinion you could tell Jason was truly sincere. Of course he is also the only member not involved in any tax issue and possibly took moral issue on this. I once read he still banks with his local co-op.”
IMO, this part is even interesting
A (dylandog): “I actually feel for Howard. A few months ago he bumped into the 'elusive Jay' on Kensington High Street and they had a brief chat. Apparently that was the first time Jay had see Howard's two children. Howard has also posted some lovely heart felt posts about Jay - who has completely cut the boys out of his life. I genuinely think that Howard is upset by Jay's decision to not only walk away from the band, but also their friendship.”
B (GBA lady): “That's exactly what I'm thinking, dylandog. Howard and Jason seemed to be very good friends during the TT years and Mark, well, he seems to be friends with everyone. I'm not including Gary on this one, although, back in the 90s, they said themselves, it was Gary-Howard-Jay, on one side, and Mark-Robbie, on the other side. I can understand - to a certain extent - Jason's decision to quit the music industry, but I don't get why he had to also quit his friendships. Howard was the one who said, during an interview, that Jason doesn't even reply to their emails anymore.”
A: “Jay was always the one that struggled with the limelight so to some extent it wasn't a surprise that he was the one to jump ship. I also felt that he was, to put it bluntly, rather work shy.  I think they probably understand/accept his decision to leave the music industry, but I agree with you, they must be hurt and confused by his actions to cut them out of his life. I know if a friend I'd spent many years with did that to me I'd feel very hurt. It does make me wonder what an earth went on? Was Jay appalled by their involvement in the tax scheme or was it something else? Whilst I understand Jay has his own life and friendship groups to completely erase them from his life is drastic to say the least. “
B: “I don't think it has anything to do with the their tax scheme. I doubt he even knew what the boys did with their share. Jason's finances are managed by his brother, the boys' by someone else. I don't see them sit down and talk: "oh, did your lawyer/accountant make you sign that paper regarding that investment?". I really trust Gary when he says he had no idea what he was signing - if he had any suspicion back then that it would be something that would backfire, he'd have pulled the money out immediately and payed the tax to the State, just like he did when he found out what it was all about. BUT, in the eventuality that Gary and the others lie and they knew they were doing something morally questionable and Jason was aware of this and this is the reason he left the band, then shame on him! He isn't a saint, he's done his fair share of morally questionable things in life - at the end of the day, using fans for sex is way more wrong than making an investment that doesn't break any laws -, so he wasn't in any position to judge. Just like all the others, he did alcohol, he did drugs, he used people for his own pleasure.....he really had no foot to stand on when it came to this. He is enjoying, after all, a life of doing nothing off the back of others, limelight shy or not. I sincerely hope that is not the reason he quit the band. If it were, his mum being in the documentary would look very weird.“
Then another guy came...
C: “I don't understand the talk about Jay like he is a bad guy here when this is probably the main reason why he quit the band, to stop stangers being judgmental on him. What's wrong with him dating young girls or older girls (Catherine Tate wasn't exactly young when they were dating)? He is single and should be allowed to date whoever he wants. And if he decided to quit because of the tax thing then I don't see any problem. People has different values in life that hold dear to their heart. Anyway, all this was just you guys' speculations (not even truth) and you still manage to use it to talk down on him just because he is not your favorite. Jason has never been a fan of technology since when he was in the band so I see no reasons for him to change after he left the band. Being of grid is so Jason that I don't know why everyone would be surprised. I have a lot of old colleagues that I was close to when I was working with them but never bother to keep in touch. I still like them but they are not my priority at the moment. There are so many levels of friendship and Take That is definitely a unique one.”
A: “I'm sorry you see it that way BadHabit. I in no way meant to be dismissive of Jay or suggest that he is a 'bad guy.' If you read my post I do say I miss Jay and for me they were at their best as a four piece. However, it's not unfair of me to point out that he had few leads, which I think is a shame by the way, because he's my second favourite vocalist in the band, or that he had very little input re song writing. The forum is for comments and opinions and unless we're looking at facts such as sales figures, then of course it's merely conjecture. My point was that I didn't fully understand the intellectual label given to Jason. Of course he can 'date' whom is wishes, regardless of their age, I don't think I suggested otherwise, but simply made an observations that he appears to have been photographed with much younger women on a number of occasions and therefore falls into that stereotype of older man/ younger woman. By the way for balance Howard is married to a much younger woman as well.“
B: “In regards to Jason dating younger women - although I couldn't care less about his private life (as long as his private life doesn't affect TT's image/reputation/connections)-, I do believe it's morally wrong for a 40+ old man to be dating 20 year olds. No, a person doesn't have the right to date whomever they please. In some countries, it's legal for 80+ year olds to marry young girls, some are still kids - based on the mighty principle that "one can do whatever/whomever they please". Just because it's not illegal, it doesn't mean it's not wrong. Plus, it's just disturbing to see an almost 50 year old - or is he 50 already? - jumping from woman to woman - he's either interested in settling down, in which case he should be dating just one person -or he's not interested in a family life, in which case he shouldn't be dating at all. I could understand it to some extent when all the boys were teens or in their early 20s, but now it's just ridiculous. I know you all live in a "liberal" thinking country, but I have the feeling nowadays abnormalities are being perceived as normal, which is soooo wrong. It's not right that any person on this forum be made to "retract" an opinion based on a system of values, just because others' fan bias. Like dylandog said, nobody believes Jason is "a bad guy", but that doesn't mean he's a saint either- he's just showing signs of immature and questionable decisions. Every single member of this band has been criticized for various choices they've made in their lives, why would be Jason exempt from the same treatment? He actually had it pretty easy going while he was in the band. For all his questionable public appearances, he never got the 10th amount of the slagging Gary did for simply existing.“
*sigh* now I’m getting some pattern that the older you are as a fan of an act, the cynical you are.
If anyone manage to read this until this part, please let me know your thoughts. Especially about Jason because tbh even I still confuse about his mindset.

my suband thoughts pt. 2
(me trying to make this post for the 3rd time now) i realized i wrote like a 10 page dissertation instead and i refuse to post all that so i’m just going to copy over a few and keep the rest in drafts for when i want to reference them later
i will include results and elimination spoilers in this post so if you want to avoid those then don’t read this one...i try to keep things spoiler free but i just. have things to say about the results specific to round 2 :-)
jtbc finally striking down accounts on twitter and instagram for posting suband content....i think tumblr is safe bc this website is dead so i’ll continue posting i guess??? they haven’t done anything to that one youtube that’s been posting all the performance videos too so who knows
should i start with more contestant based random thoughts first
i was scammed by jtbc teaser editor bc they used a clip of jeongho “singing” into the mic in their preview and i waited 2 whole episodes (his team performed last in round 2) for me to find out it was a autotuned mic and a vocoder HELP MEEEE SAKJFDSKF at that point literally i could only laugh
but he plays contrabass? he actually majored in contrabass? or maybe that was his old major, he’s still in school atm since wonsang said they go to the same one but he had educational training on it which is really cool
wait a minute......now that i think about it, that same teaser clip also spoiled the result of yeji winning bc they showed us that she was sitting in the waiting room during eliminations even though they haven’t performed yet (which means we knew her team won AND they already showed us all the matchups before so we also knew who she beat) WHO WAS EDITING THIS LMAO and it wasn’t even a accidental leak like she was sitting in the background, it was literally her reaction as the main focus and everything omg
hwang inkyu hello??? he’s movning’s bassist and he has a combined total of maybe 3 lines of airtime so far i wish he’d speak more bc i was so scared he’d get his ass kicked off the show bc he wouldn’t have been able to make a lasting impression but thank god hwanglin picked him up and seems like he’s going to be moving on with his team in the next round too (good for them the stage was so good i wanted to post it but haven’t yet..)
i used to really like movning’s music but their music direction went into a style i don’t listen to much so i haven’t checked into them recently, tbh i didn’t even know they auditioned until i looked at the full list of contestants later because their stage was cut out and only inkyu made it in
park dawool and hwang hyunjo both have galaxy brains and i would trust them with my life - yea i will not elaborate much because this post is already long even after i shortened it bc i talk too much but hyunjo making entire ppt slides? to present her theories and ideas? yea she’s absolutely ready for everything, for real she’s carrying her teams to victory
leenzy’s 2nd round team was so strong that i thought she got to pick really early (since they showed us all the team formations before airing the actual performances with the behinds for pickings and stuff) but she was actually the 2nd to last pair?? so all that’s left is her > the guy she chose to be her opponent, and then the poor guy that gets to pick from the remaining 6 or so and the final team of the ones unchosen
i was really shocked to find out no one wanted nakyung and ahkyung when i thought they were some of the best :-( i really still can’t tell if the mixing of male and female was a good idea esp since it was so skewed male in the first place ugh in round 2 it seems like the girls are getting shafted???
out of the 6 girls (that can be picked since 3 are frontmen!), 3 of them were not picked up until basically the very end when you don’t really have many choices left...nakyung (guitar), ahkyung (drums), and sujin (vocals)...and they’re all really good?? sujin ended up on the second to last team (basically the last team if we’re being honest since the actual last team is sadly the band of leftovers) and i just don’t understand why they weren’t picked up earlier...i can understand sometimes vocalists can get shafted because the show starts out with a loooot of vocalists so it’s hard to find a place for all of them but guitar? drums? u can definitely pick them...there’s literally only 7 or so drummers to begin with and one has been glued to crackshot the entire time
before the season started i was already terrified that the girls might get shafted because jtbc didn’t want girls auditioning in the first place but it was fine in the first round but now the second round made me think about that again.....it’s worse when they spin the whole “yes!! all girl band!! girl power!!!” when the reality was they weren’t picked up this whole time. annoying.
but this blame has to be shouldered by jtbc bc they wanted to keep it all boys but bc of public reactions (rightfully so) they decided to let female contestants audition but then it turned out that they barely pass any female contestants so it’s still terrible?!! i’ll just write this up that teams are still trying to figure themselves out and work with different people for now....maybe i’m just worried for nothing
not to absolutely curse myself but i think most of my favorites might make it at least to round 4 and i feel like a decent amount will make it to semis so haha /knock on wood but i really hope this stays true...i just need nokdu to continue taking care of hyunsang and make city pop bops together because the judges seem to like that so far
i’m just worried about demian....the judges keep saying he’s improved so much but why do i feel like they will cut him as soon as they need to eliminate more people.....i’m not as worried about round 3 (unless his team falls on their face) but round 4 is where i’m really scared...it’s the last round before the real deal and in season 1 the round 4 eliminations hurt so bad...they cut like 9 people or something
i mean he has his own career as a soloist so he doesn’t need a band like some of the other contestants but i think he really enjoys being in a team with others, honestly i don’t even know if his company would allow for him to be in a side band? even if he were to make it? like mone made it but all their members had solo careers and with the rose and woosung having problems it must be way they just decided to stop after the show unlike the other semis teams purple rain, lucy (they did have a vocalist change since joohyuk stayed with his current band gift), aftermoon (but i guess their dj dropped out i don’t know what happend with dpole??), and of course the winners hoppipolla all continued making music together under the same name
honestly if he makes it past the judges i don’t even know if the public would vote for him, atm his popularity with the public seems nonexistent? lol but to be fair, for most contestants it’s like that, but i do wish he’d become more popular
actually should i be more worried for haeun...she plays classic guitar and usually they don’t like classic leaning instruments but she showed she can sing so i hope she gets to stay
there’s danny too but i think i have given up on him making it until the end, the only way is if he manages to stay on teams that win so he’ll never be up for elimination but i feel like they’re out to get him TT_TT
but i’ve condensed my solid favorites to just demian, yeji, haeun, and jeongho...maybe i’ll pick a 5th eventually but i still like everyone i put in my first post! i really want hyunsang to make it far though bc the vibraphone brings me so much joy so he can be honorary 5th for now
about eliminations though, right now the judges have eliminated less than last season which is odd for jtbc because i feel they keep to their formats almost exactly so now i’m just ?????? if there’s still more people currently....what is going to happen? are they going to make the judges cut more during rounds 3 and 4? or they trying to equalize the semifinals teams since last year some teams had 4 people while others had 5? are they going to do the unthinkable and give us more rounds or semifinal teams? (i wish) anyways kinda scared to see what round 3 eliminations bring now...
the actual eliminations have been mostly as expected for me, still sad but i guess since i sensed it coming it became more a feeling of like “it couldn’t be helped” and also early eliminations hurt less in general because you had less time to get to know the contestants which is why i’d rather they just eliminate now than later if they were going to do it anyways like pls spare me the pain (but this is selfish and contestants probably want to stay as long as possible)
one surprising one was ludi??? he’s a dj but he’s literally done nothing wrong so far i was just wtf??!! when they eliminated him like it felt out of nowhere.....i feel like djs have so much potential on this show because of all the sounds they have access too but i guess the judges aren’t found of edm noise
also demian nation we rise at dawn, when he said “i’m not okay” like- this song really meant a lot to him too i hate thisssss
Tumblr media
PLS I JUST WANT HIM TO WIN ONCE SO BADLY but next time, thanks to kfans detective work on the teaser, it looks like junseo (the smol piano child) picked him and jeongho to be on his team (maybe there’s a 4th member too??) and i am putting my faith into that team now pls help my winless boys
the fact that jeongho is winless is almost funny to me because it’s also obvious he’s a judges favorite but i mean that doesn’t translate to wins just i’m pretty sure he’ll make it to the end regardless (like bohoon the vocalist of purple rain lost all 3 /technically all 4/ rounds and still made it), he plays bass and no bassist has ever been eliminated on the show yet so cheers to that
round 4 was special since they switched over to a number format and no band versus band i don’t remember if the team with the top points were immune to elimination or not (or maybe just an unwritten rule bc why the heck would you do that to them after giving them the best score) but the rest of the teams were fair game - which is exactly why this elimination round is the scariest and not good for my heart especially after i had spent weeks watching them sing and have fun..........
ok now to complain about the judges AGAIN: why are the judges thoughts on what they want in a band so damn similar anyway?
i mentioned this in my first post already about how i dislike the judging atmosphere
Tumblr media
but now i actually see it...in the numbers...like s1 there was a bit more taste diversity within the judges but now i feel like i’m seeing a lot of 4:1 or 5:0 scores so i went to see the breakdown out of the 15 stages we had so far
5:0 score - 6
4:1 score - 7
3:2 score - 2
compared to s1 (out of 14 only because they edited out one pair of battles completely so we never knew their score...)
5:0 score - 2
4:1 score - 6
3:2 score - 6
looking at that...it makes me feel sad....especially in the early 2 rounds it must be demoralizing to keep getting met with 5:0 loss and to be very honest and in s1 the number of 5:0 did increase in round 3 but that was when more teams started to figure themselves out so it makes sense that some would start pulling ahead
i’m really tired of listening to the judges agreeing with each other all the time, it makes it seem like the vision they have for the band was already set from day 1 unlike in s1 where everyone went in with no expectations because it was a brand new program, zero expectations, zero fans, just some kids wanting to make music and that’s what it should be like....music shouldn’t be limiting like this, the judges seem a little closed minded and now i’m 100% sure they have certain band styles in mind (i don’t know if it’s the judges only or if it’s jtbc producers too that’s causing this)
and i see other ifans saying this exact same thing on twitter now too so it’s not just me that picked up on this so safe to say we can’t all be extremely sensitive right
like the contradictory comments -
dongheon’s 2nd round team was told their original song was great and lovely but they brought nothing new to the table and that it was too standard, “just like any other rock/rock ballad song” when i thought the leenzy’s team (the one they went up against) also had a pretty standard? pop rock song? absolutely nothing wrong with it either, even the judges said that the song was not complicated at all but complimented them on their “band feel” so i guess as long as they enjoyed the vibe of the team and it suited the type of band style they have in mind it’s suddenly fine to make a simple song
i’m not saying her song was worse than his (i enjoyed both and seeing original songs performed make me very happy), i’m just a little confused at the judges comments for them both especially when one performed after the other, you really don’t see the bias in your words?
dawool was told his song composition in the first stage was a little too...nuanced(?) and that they wish he could just keep thing simpler even though he thought he toned down already and kept things simple, so round 2 he decided to just work with someone that makes mainstream music (davii) to fulfil what the judges want
seulong’s 2nd round team decided to go heavier on the instrumental side because they figured they didn’t want to go head to head with one of the favorite vocalists of the show (sorry yeji, ur my queen but ur also the judges’ queen too :---( ) but got criticized for a similar reason...yoo heeyeol saying that their composition was “fun for the brain” but if he were thinking about the general public he doesn’t think they would like this type of music, literally saying that the general public do not have the music knowledge or brain capacity to understand all the skill based playing going on musically and so won’t enjoy it because it wouldn’t appeal to their hearts................(ok sure call us dumb it’s true but won’t appeal to our hearts? music can sound intricate and fun? we can enjoy some funky strings guitar riffs without actually knowing all the details ya know)
they also kept telling them (seulong’s team) “oh i loved this” “i wish there was a band like this” “very cool” and gave them no votes??? if you wish a band like this exist then why? would? you? not? vote? for them??? like i can’t tell if those were consolation comments or what
man judges rant ended up being long asf and i’m usually not affected by them and what they say but i was already feeling an odd vibe from the beginning and now seeing 5:0 after 5:0 after 5:0 really did it for me
overall, a not very fun post to read through it’s just more ranting than anything....i’m dying for a big pop off performance so i can successfully gauge the public opinion so far but i’ll refrain from posting my guess until at least the end of round 3, also i believe the team vibe usually outweighs solo popularity but we don’t know any teams yet (at least i can’t guess anyone yet like i could in s1) so we will still have to see!!
i’m pretty sure only i would look and read through these long ass posts of mine lol but if anyone makes it this far i hope you enjoy my crazy ramblings and see you in my suband thoughts pt.3

where the girls run
Series: flowers
---------
Summary: With her twin missing in the Henbane, the second Junior Deputy steps foot back in Faith’s domain.
---------
Warnings: mentioned past child abuse & sexual assault & harassment, nongraphic violence, canon character death, one use of the c word
Other notes: not entirely sure on Faith's voice here tbh lmao 8);;;;; concrit would be welcomed in that area mostly
---------
Jemima remembers nothing of prayers, only the fear she used to feel when the old man used to rant and rave and the old man’s wife would only sit with indifference (or fear, she doesn’t know, and doesn’t care, anyway). Mom and Dad are agnostic, and raised her and Jason that way, instilling a sense of polite scepticism; at the very least, they were polite with Jerome and Joseph equally -- before they’d left to see Mom’s sister in Indiana for the week. Thinking of them now, as she steps a booted foot into the Henbane River, she hopes they’re still there, and didn’t return early to this hellhole.
The sickly-sweet stench of the Bliss irritates her nose. She sneezes, and does her best to wipe her nose, keeping her eyes beady. Hallucinations are likely, which she knows well, Solomon’s image outlined with hazy and glittering green imprinted on her brain for the foreseeable future, as long as her memory never starts to deteriorate. A baby’s cry hurts worse, of course.
She knows that Jason came here not long after returning from the Mountains, blood having formed patterns on his shirt. The Resistance had trusted him to take care of Faith, after having dispatched the Whitetail region of Jacob (despite the deaths of several Whitetail Militia, and especially their leader, Eli Palmer, staining his shirt and his hands just as much), and Jemima had to focus on John, and getting Hudson out of that rathole bunker. Jemima had finished with John (and would’ve taken the Baptist’s head -- for herself, for Mary May, for Nick, for Kim, for Carmina, for Joey, for the entirety of Holland Valley, for her brother, and God, if there is a God, she’d swear by that cunt’s hypothetical existence that she would’ve taken Jacob’s head, too, if Jason hadn’t told her to stay far away from the mountains), and had immediately set off in search of her brother who no-one had heard from in two days. Complete radio silence conjured up nightmares of Jason as an Angel, and more of him shooting himself in the head.
A Bliss bullet hits her in the leg. Natch!
Faith scares her. Joseph does too, in a way, with his hold and influence, a human epicentre of doom and disaster. John -- oh, John enraged her more than she could be scared of him, but she was, and was scared of Jacob although she never met him. The potential of their power (those that were alive) was something that gave her pause, made her think about wanting and wishing to turn back, redo this arrest business, get the National Guard involved, for fuck’s sake -- but one has to be brave, be very brave, to fight evil things. Oh yes, like a knight in shining armour fights a fearsome dragon. Of course, of course, Jemima is that exact kinda knight, isn’t she? Delusions of grandeur! It was a toss-up between PRIDE or WRATH on her chest -- the latter won out. At least later, if she survives long enough, she can turn it into something cool. Easier to minimise these horrible things rather than to face them with real bravery, she finds.
“Hello, Jemima.”
“Hey, Faith. Girl time?” Just two young women hangin’ out in a bunker, ya know.
“Sure! That’s why you came back, right?”
She doesn’t like the way that’s phrased, but then again, Faith scares her the most out of the Seeds. Ah, your would-be sister. She needs to stop thinking like that, in wistful would-bes and coulda-beens, but it’s difficult with the Bliss starting to take a real hold. The after-effects, the way it still lingers after the initial shot.
“I guess.” Playing along, and slurring just a touch. She’d come here for that? Or to kill Faith? And upset Joseph some more? If he even gives a flying shit about Faith, and not just what she means to the Project. But then the same might come into question about his brothers. Her mind’s going to fast to pin these thoughts down and pump them full of that sweet-ass coherence juice, though. Shame. If she weren’t drugged up to the eyeballs, and drowning under it still with every minute passing, she’d probably be able to outline a neat little essay-style thing about it all. Arguments and counter-arguments and all.
Faith seems to be enjoying this, of course, kicking her legs off the desk. Yeah, of course she’s the kinda girl to sit on desks. Jemima would to, if she weren’t tied to a rather sturdy chair (without wheels!) and starting to slouch in it. Does this Bliss shit just jellify your bones? The fuck?
The sister laughs. Faith (or Rachel?) or Jemima or both (all three), it’s not immediately clear, but Jemima is smiling because she heard it and it sounded good. “Did I say that out loud?” she asks.
“Yes, you did. And you should know already,” Faith says, slipping off the desk and booping Jemima on the nose, which is kinda annoying because now it feels like she has to rub it but she can’t because she’s tied up and wow! that's annoying! But Faith keeps talking, like her brothers: “It doesn’t turn your bones to jelly, but it can do that to your mind if there’s too much.” Angels. Ah. For a moment, she’d forgotten about the real horror of what can happen, having been lost in a good ol’ laugh with Funny Faith.
“Oh yeah,” she says quietly, then asks, suddenly panicking as a spark of memory stabs through green fog: “Where’s Jason? And Sheriff Whitehorse?”
And now Faith looks disappointed. It makes Jemima want to shrink into a ball. Reminding Faith about Whitehorse brings up what he’d said before, and what everyone else had regurgitated before him: that Faith was a liar and a manipulator and nothing she said could be trusted. Tracey, she thinks, is the only person closest to the truth about Faith, but even then, that was more about Rachel Jessop from before. A manipulator and a liar -- Jemima believes that, but it can’t be about everything. Not when she knows about that kinda truth.
Not personally. Or at least, not close enough to count it as such. Or is it? If it were anyone else who's heartrate spiked up when someone had presumed enough familiarity or boldness or confidence to not face consequences of any kind, Jemima would argue so. A hand on the hip -- what is that? Just flirting. It’s only ever “just flirting”. It’s the only most-dangerous thing anyone had dared try with her. College: what circle of Hell is that? Jemima counts herself lucky that she could choose, that she chose Solomon. Sweetest Solomon, too good for her, too kind, too understanding, and he would’ve been all that still if she’d chosen the other choice. She might’ve still had him.
“They’re elsewhere.” Short answer, and she worries more about her twin than about her boss (a girl is a liar only, and a girl is dispensable, it’s only trouble not worth getting into, only lies and manipulation and attention-seeking from a little girl with glaring bruises in a nice house and a nice town and a nice fucking county), but Faith’s recovered with a smile that Jemima will pretend she’s not questioning. “I heard you were coming to see me,” her voice is sickly-sweet, the sound translation of the smell of Bliss, “so I made sure they weren’t in the way so we could have our little girl talk in peace. Boys, you know?” Hands clasp on the arms of the wooden chair, and the stench of Bliss is so strong this close-up it makes Jemima’s eyes water, and she turns her face away to avoid looking the other girl (woman, she’s an adult woman now, she’s older than you for fuck’s sake, barely but still) in the eye. “They take up your time, they waste your time, they want to make your time all. about. them.”
Is this Faith? She is so angry. It’s not very Faith-like to be angry, is it? Not so viscerally.
“They do,” Jemima agrees, finally meeting Faith’s eye again, knowing and remembering several who fit the bill from school and college. Some of the guys at the station, too, come to think of it. Then she blurts out, “I believe you.” It seemed important to say, because Faith knows what everyone else is saying, and has said, and will continue to say about her, from way back then until the day she dies. Faith is not blind nor deaf to this.
It makes Faith lean back, looking more like Rachel might when faced with someone taking her side for once (Tracey did, Tracey tried, you must remember this, you are not unique to knowing Rachel and Faith), before it washes away again under a plaster smile, pearly teeth on display. “I know you do,” sounds like I knew you would, and it sounds like relief, but not quite trust. Forehead-to-forehead, she repeats, “I know you do.” Jemima closes her eyes then, leaning into this physical contact that Faith's allowing, because Faith might need this, something soft even if momentary.
Peace is spoiled by a baby’s crying, and Jemima whips her head away, this way and that, raw panic strangling her as she pulls and rattles at the rope that’s tight around her arms and torso. “Where is she?” she shouts, starting to cry and thrash in her chair.
Faith looks at her with odd fascination, like watching an insect. Then there’s more noise outside -- gunfire -- and Jemima howls because she can’t find her, and then Faith is gone yet again, and Jemima is left with Rhoda’s screeching cries in her ears, and fear for Jason's safety.
                                                                                     ---
Jason couldn’t bring himself to kill again, not even now when he was still wearing the same clothes unwashed. Not even a smart remark would seem to snap him out of his seemingly lasting stupor. It’s the shock, she tells herself. So it’s Jemima who takes to drowning instead. She’s not sure it’s worked, because when she turns to look back at the body, it’s disappeared. She has an hysterical thought: maybe Faith was never real.
She decides it doesn’t matter, since Joseph releases two barrels full of Bliss in front of the church.

6) a flip of the dime. The nasty parts were always there, but he concealed/controlled them. Maybe bc said parts wouldn't exactly make him endearing to others? Anyhow, your interpretation makes him quite the interesting antagonist/villain, so I'm rolling with it, lol. /// There was another thing that was bugging me about S2: the baby's name. Obviously, Serena chose Nic(h)ole as a "fuck you" to Fred. But June in the finale? Of course, she stuck to it for Nick's sake, but also bc she recognized
7) Serena’s selfless (well, if you can call it that) act. Thoughts on this? /// As for your older responses, I forgot to describe what an epiphany it was for me to realize the significance of Serena’s use of the word “rape” for the first time. The anger I felt after 2x10 blinded me to the VERY OBVIOUS connection between her realization in 2x10 and her outburst in 2x11. (Silly me!) Imagine how much more intense that fight would have been if they included the marital rape. I remember a writer
8) that June didn’t kill Serena, bc she actually felt sorry for her in that episode. (Ngl, June’s kindness baffles me at times.) I knew that she wasn’t gonna do it of course, but it was 50/50 whether I wanted her to shoot them or not. /// Something I have not addressed so far is how lukewarm I found their explanation for June getting away with all the shit she does. Well, she’s no Janine (who loses an eye) or Emily (who gets mutilated), but still. Like you said, Serena and Fred might get away
9) get away with a lot more bc of their privilege, but June? Hm. // I’ll start quoting later (or maaaybe tomorrow).
———–
I always thought that was a really weird sort of thing for June to do. And it seems to be entirely because of Serena? Like, it was Holly, Holly, Holly. Even when she was talking to Nick. Then she has the exchange with Serena, and suddenly she adopts Serena’s supreme dickmove of a babyname?
And I LIKED Holly. It meant something. Nichole (I HATE THAT SPELLING SFM LMAO) means nothing to June? Can you imagine the convo:
“Mommy, why am I called Nichole?”
“Well, baby, you see, your Daddy’s name is Nick, so the lady that stole you decided to name you after him to eternally piss off her husband who she clearly hates and wanted him to be reminded that he’s impotent every time he looks at you.”
Like, on the one hand, Serena is fucking brilliant and it just shows the extent of her hatred for Fred. But then it’s kinda shitty to use a child as a pawn in that.
Then again, maybe there’s another reason Serena chose that name? I know there’s like a whole history about St. Nicholas and his role as a patron saint of childless couples, or something. (I can’t recall exactly rn). And there was something about St. Nicolette and babies. (Which is where the names Nicole and Collette come from.) Something like she raised a dead baby back to life. So, I guess, at a stretch perhaps that was her inspiration? I doubt it, knowing Serena. LOL.
It’s really curious June’s decision though. Despite EVERYTHING Serena’s done, June just wipes it clean and names her fucking baby after Serena’s choice? Maybe she was trying to retain the memory of Nick for Nichole? I dunno. And not only that, but she seemed 100% genuine when she said that farewell blessing and held Serena’s hand (again).
I dunno, June’s own preoccupation with Serena is something I don’t truly understand but she clearly thinks there’s some odd connection or something. It’s funny cos I was reading a review about S2 and June’s choices in the finale, and her constant support of Serena despite ALL the reasons not to, and lemme see if I can find it…
Nah. I can’t. Anyway, it was something about how we all know June’s going back for Hannah, but this writer thought June was also going back for Serena.
I’m not convinced about that tbh, but I can see the argument cos June is strangely protective and compassionate towards Serena considering. I just have a sinking feeling that the show is gonna play that “Oops, Serena is evil again!! SHE WAY MAD JUNE GIVE BABBY AWAY trolololol!!!!” and make her despicable in order to get Nicole back. If that is the case, I’m gonna roll my eyes right outta my head. I have no issue with Serena having regrets, tbh. I think that’s pretty understandable and expected. But having Serena go hogwild with abuse and using Fred’s power to get back at June or something is just going to fucking piss me off cos like, c’mon my dudes, been there, done that. Over and over already. It’s the 3rd season and either you’re gonna put this bitch on a mild redemption arc or you’re gonna make her a full-on villain. Make up your minds. The will-she, won’t-she thing is old by now.
I dunno that was a random OT rant.
Also, TRUTH! Serena’s use of the word “rape” was important. Like, part of me is like DUH how did you JUST figure that out?! And, honestly I feel like the marital rape is sort of necessary for Serena’s epiphany to get recognised. I think, Serena is just wilfully ignorant enough to not truly consider the Ceremony rape. I honestly do not think she totally understood what she was suggesting with the 2x10 rape. (Serena really does lack forethought for like…all of her actions. That’s sorta her whole problem.) I think she thought it would be just like a sort of unsanctioned ceremony. But by the end she did seem to recognise what it truly was. And having her raped by Fred in the previous episode would have really helped with that. (Then again, it’s really hard to understand how a woman who was just raped turns around and basically suggests it. And this person is supposed to be not Satan. A pure evil woman sure. But Serena’s not meant to be that.)
I think Yvonne’s delivery of the line was interesting too. Part of it was like, “HOly shit it was rape” and part of it was like, “ha! you’re a monster!! you did that!” Like she had no culpability in it. I want to know if Serena has realised that ALL ceremonies are RAPE yet. I wonder if she’s got there. I’m not totally convinced she has. But… I dunno.
Oh! I hadn’t read that about June’s reasoning! That’s interesting. I mean, it fits with June overall but it’s a very odd thing. Like, to be holding a gun trained on the couple that literally held you down and raped you not 24 hours earlier… and feel SORRY for the woman (whereas the general population’s consensus is that Serena is even worse than Fred for doing that to another woman)? I went and watched it after reading your message I didn’t really see that on June’s face. (But that’s really neither here nor there since editing, directing, etc. all differs from what the writers/showrunners had in mind and those are the guys doing the interviews!)  I take that back! I watched it again and I can deffo see that if that’s what they were going for. Totally missed it and likely wouldn’t have picked up on it if not for this convo.
That said, I totally see June reasoning it out that way. For some strange reason, whether it’s Stockholm Syndrome or whatever, June seems to have a blindspot/softspot for Serena and she seems to have unlimited Get Out Of Jail Free cards for her. Like, c’mon, she literally held her down to be brutally raped, and at this point it seems like Serena could murder June and June’s ghost would just be like, “Hey youuuuu, wanna be my bestie in overthrowing the patriarchy?” (Okay, I’m not at all complaining cos I love their dynamic and I ship them soooooo… lol. On a personal level, it works very well for me and my crackshippy fantasies. I choose to believe June honestly sees something nobody else does and believes in Serena’s capacity for redemption–WHICH IS INSANE. But hey. I love it.)
So, for June to feel sorry for Serena, even after everything really does fit when you think about it. And also when you think about book!June’s attitude towards true power being in forgiveness.
I remember sitting around watching the ep the first time and thinking “I don’t want June to shoot them and be a killer” but also, “WHY ISN’T SHE SHOOTING THE FUCKING PLACE UP! DOES SHE NOT WANT TO ESCAPE????” And I was sitting there with the wifey and she was like, “She can’t. What if she misses? Then you’ve got 2 incredibly angry people chasing you.” And I was like… “Uh. Reload? Shoot them as they’re coming up the stairs.”
Because I have never fired a gun in my life so to me it seems really easy lmao. But to me, I didn’t even care about her shooting Serena but I did have an inkling she didn’t want to shoot Serena with the amount she paused. That would have been a perfect shot with teh type of ammo to take out –or at least injure– two people at once. I was like, “You gotta kill Fred and Serena is pretty useless then. It’s not like they have mobile phones! You can then choose to leave Serena to die there lol, or hostage her. And steal the car. You could get pretty far since nobody knows that Fred/Serena are even there.” To me, rationally, it didnt’ make sense not to shoot them. But… emotionally, obvs, I knew she wouldn’t cos a)the series would like… end rather abruptly lol, and b) that’s just not June.
AND yeah, June getting away with all her bullshit is insane in comparison. Janine literally lost an eye for backtalking once at the Red Centre! June has, well, done so much more and just kind skates away from ALL serious punishment. (Well, living with Fred and Serena is a pretty awful punishment in general.) And, sure part of it was cos she was preggers but … how Aunt Lydia/Fred/Serena/TPTB trust this crazy Handmaid not to KEEP breaking the rules is insane. I feel like nobody would trust her to just be a docile little thing after running away for 92 days. Not even Pervy Freddo. Despite all his creeptastic fetishes, he’d be like, “OMG she is way too high maintenance. i just don’t have the patience. give me that baby so i can shut my annoying wife up and then get me another more docile babyslave to play Scrabble and shave!” The plot armour is strong in this one!
Anyway! I got a bit carried away there…

... More ? Ok wait... I don't know what else to say. How about weird puns ? Quote what BTS just said in their songs ? You know Hakuna Matata from Boy in Love ? I guess they like Disney. Because they put Ratatouille in their new song. Which is cute, kinda, but mostly funny. Imagine Yoongi surrounded by Disney's stuffed toys characters ? How about Jimin ? I don't know what's more cute. A photo of it or his reactions with Kumamon... F.LWSAJt3rd
I really do hope you'll feel better soon... Don't think to much about things that stress you. Actually that's surprisingly one of the reasons people can get a cold. Stress. If you ever try to cook chicken soup, please be careful. Don't pull a Namjoon. Don't forget to drink water ! (again, not too cold). Do you have scented candles ? It can help you to relax. Or try to listen to BTS's remix, it helps me to sleep. And you need sleep.
I'm eating Big Hit right now... (you know those you can buy at Lidl ?) Sometimes I really think about why did Yoongi chose Father Louis Williams Suga Adams... Junior the 3rd. But then, he probably just put random foreigners names he had in mind. I'm going to keep writing the firsts things that pops in my mind... probably... I don't know you put pressure on me xD I'm really excited to see the stages for this comeback! The dance is great. There's Yoonmin too...
When you'll answer this (which you weren't supposed to apparently but that's ok), what is your favourite song of the album ? Would you like to be Kumamon and be hugged by Yoongi if you're sick or be Yoongi and be hugged by a Kumamon ? Mmh... Imagine Yoongi in a Kumamon costume hugging you and giving you chicken soup ? >
Staying true to the "Send in anon what you feel about me at first I was intimidated to even send something in anon because I'm actually really shy. So the 1st time I send you something truly was as Father Louis ! I never thought you would have answered and play with the game. Didn't even imagined you would remember(or maybe it's the fact there's not many anons going by Father Louis Williams Suga Adams Junior the 3rd ? It is mouthfull...)and that's just another reason why you're an amazing person
Can we talk about how cute Yoongi is with blue hair ? May his hair rest in peace later. Amen. But he looks so soft !! Your gif of it killed me, I blinked more than usual (I'm one of those persons who blinks a lot). I'm sorry I don't know what to write, in one hand I may come as a mother. At the other hand... I'm annoying. (I hope you're laying on a bed by now. Sleeping. Where I am it's 23:15 and Germany must be +1h if I'm not wrong.)
And so, as the sky started to darken, he closed his eyes slowly. Taking a deep breath, he focused on his other senses. How the grass was feeling ticklish, like a brush; the males crickets playing their cello in hope to find a female, and mate with them; the scent of the night surrounding him, a scent which can't be easily describe it. His shoulders drop, his face soften. Slowly breathing out, he opens his eyes... ah there it is. Peace. -Father Louis Williams Suga Adams Junior the 3rd.
I hope my last ask will make you feel more relaxed ^^ English is my 3rd language and I'm self-taught so I did a poor job at "Show, don't tell" + the fact there's a limit of characters we can put. I was going to write a small yoonmin scene but it just makes me remember Jimin in Serendipity instead. Anyway, hope you get better !!! 💛💙 - Father Louis Williams Suga Adams Junior the 3rd, living in the 2nd house of BTS Hell.
Okay you wrote me a freaking essay! hahah ♥
I think Jungkook, Taehyung and Namjoon might watch a lot of Disney movies? I dont know. Correct me if I am wrong :’) I could totally see Yoongi with lots of Animal + Stitch stuffed toys! That would be so cute :o Thank you for your getting well wishes! I really hope so too! It is most likely stress. I have a lot on my mind recently. I dotn even sleep well because of it so yeah. It will all be good in 2/3 months though. I think might make me soup. He is a really good cook! I am more of a baker :) Even my co-workers ask me why i am not making the lemon cake again lmao. They love that cake so much. I only had some colder/luke warm water so dont worry. As I said, I am mostly drinking tea! I have sweet scented candles! I would like some minty scented candles though. Just so I could feel like I am breathing. I am listening to the new album  on repeat. It makes me wanna be active! Which is good I guess. I dont want to mope around being sick. I havent sleept very well last night, i kept waking up, because of my throat. (I kept breathing through my mouth because my nose got stuffed during the night)
I LOVE BIG HIT! Tbh i like them more than M&Ms. Also they are way cheaper. Thank god for that. And you have Lidl? That means you must be in a European Country! And you said Germany is +1 hour from you? You must be from a warmer country if English is self taught! That is so cool!
I am sorry that I put pressure on you. Just wrtie to me whenever and however much you want! I love seeing your messages! I am really excited about the comeback stages too! I think it got leaked that they would promote Mic Drop too? I might be in my cold haze though. :’)  The dance is so cool! I am in awe! That choreo must be so difficult! It is so fast paced sometimes.
My fav song would be: Serendipity, Best Of Me and Pied Piper maybe? I am not too sure yet.  What are yours?I’d rather be hugged by Yoongi! I just want to hug all of them. hajsdgfljkh That image made me laugh! I wouldnt be able to take him seriously if he tried to feed me wiht a Kumamon costume on!
Yoongi is such a tsunderer. It is adorable and endearing. I wouldnt be able to imagine him any other way tbh. Jimin, yes! He would even post those pics of yoongi on twitter :’)
Of course I would have remebered you! Your ask was so funny and nice! I love those little games to get over the awkwardness. It doesnt expose one completely at first which is totally okay! Getting used/warmed up to somebody takes courage and time! Youre amazing too, my dear anon!
I loved minty yoongi and pastel blue is very close to that so i am all *heart eyes* His hair would have been all healthy again at this point. Bleaching all of that is such a shame. I hope he thought it was okay to dye it again.
Thank you for loving my gifs! youre NOT annoying! Dont say that! youre fun to talk to! Mother me all you want :D Your little calming story is so realxing! Thank you! It makes me want to cuddle up in my blanket and forget the real world.
I hope you had a good nights rest and a good day at wherever you are! School/college/work!

Shall we Date? Wizardess Heart Part 33 - Lars Lagrene Route
Tumblr media
Lmao when the heroine awkwardly said she didn't have any siblings so Lars offered to be her older brother hahaha. It really seems like they're putting out Lars to be the complete opposite of his stereotype though. He doesn't like sweets, is a genius inventor that writes papers blah blah, it's kinda amusing but also weird hahaha. So cute how he blushed when the heroine actually teasingly called Lars a big brother though haha.
Hmm, I wonder what it could be that it can even affect students from using magic? Why aren't the heroine and them affected though? Is it just the first years? Omgg lmao at Ted trying to tell the heroine about students daring each other to sneak into the academy or something at night, and the heroine focuses on how she's happy that he's got friends now hahahaha. It's cool that Lars seems to be really good at remodeling stuff, but I wonder why he doesn't like to invent stuff? Anyway, it was pretty funny when Lars was helping Elias fix a golem for a client, and everyone started chipping in ideas on making it shoot laser beams lmao. Like, I know this is an otome, but it's kinda silly how the guys always worry about protecting the heroine instead of the other guys? Like, when they were patrolling, they were worried about her and basically thought that they needed someone else like Lars to protect her when she's now a Prefect and is quite capable in magic. I'm honestly more worried for someone like Gray who isn't necessarily used to his human body etc yet, but okay, gotta protect the heroine lol, and even after Gray got his magic stolen from the random black egg magic beast, they still needed to prioritise taking her back to the dorm. To be fair though, Gray is a guy so I guess they're probably all walking back to the same dorm now haha.
I'm so glad Lars knows to appreciate the almighty Taffy! Not only is Taffy cute but he's a complicated "invention" of Randy's that keeps getting upgraded! Lmao at Randy saying Taffy has laser beams, I need to see that hahahaa. ???? I'm so confused, wasn't it the rule that they needed to know magic to stay in the academy and that's why Joel was on the verge of being expelled or something in his route?? And now Schuyler says there's no such rule and that it doesn't matter?? Lol, whatever I guess...since it was so long ago but seriously... Honestly though, I feel like the reasons for the heroine to not choose Zeus, Lucious, Caesar or Klaus as her dance partner for the opening dance for the dance party (to lighten the academy's spirits due to everything that's happening) was really silly. Like yeah I can imagine Zeus being haughty and stuff, but does she honestly think that if she chose Lucious, the other guys could cause trouble on the actual day telling her to dance with them?? How childish could they be in her mind lol. And for Caesar, what's the chances of her tripping on her own dress and kissing him and then turning him into a pig when she actually knows how to dance now??? And honestly, if she really tripped, I doubt Caesar turning into a pig or not would change much. Klaus is the most reliable, but I can understand that he'll probably be strict though haha. Anyway, I just find the reasons so finicky, all they want is to make it so she can choose Lars, but honestly, Lars is hopeless at dancing that it's pretty ridiculous to even think about picking him when the party is so soon, but whatever, it's a game, it'll work out😴
Anyway, I forgot to say that I'm not sure why the heroine keeps reassuring Lars that Clive is probably just not in the mood blah blah and that's why he's "avoiding" Lars when it's obviously happened for quite a while and it obviously isn't normal since Clive used to always hang with them. Aside from the fact that it seems to be Nidhogg related, she should have just told Lars to talk it out with him, or at least try to ask him what's going on lol, but whatever, Lars should be the one to know better since he's his brother and twin. Ooh okay, it seems like Lars did try to talk to Clive, that's better lol. Okay, I'm probably being mean, but I'm pretty annoyed that the heroine and Lars continued to do the first dance at the dance party when Clive was missing. Like yes, they tried looking and couldn't find him, and Lars was shown to be desperate for a bit, but honestly, they knew that there was a high chance he was possessed by the Nidhogg and they still prioritised the stupid dance! I understand the whole idea of wanting a party to make the atmosphere not as tense in the academy, but I still don't agree with it, but anyway that's not the point, the point is, it was just a dance. They could have gotten anyone else to do it, they could have even gotten Zeus and Hiro to dance for the lols and no one would care! No one would make a big deal out of there not being a nice opening dance or whatever because they're there to relax and party, there were so many things the others could have done to make up for it if they weren't there, but Clive only has his brother! I'm not even gonna lie that I totally understand Clive and I side with him. Yes, we know that Lars honestly appreciates Clive for doing stuff like making him food when he's so focused on his inventions etc, but at the same time, he's never properly shown how grateful he is by doing stuff for him. All the time in this route, we just see Clive do things for him and understand him better than anyone, but can Lars really say the same for Clive? Since Clive is the type to bottle it all up, it's understandable as to why the Nidhogg could take advantage of him, and it also makes you see that no one thought of why the Nidhogg chose to go after him and whether he was doing fine after the "possession". So yes, I just wanted to say that if I was Clive and saw the heroine and my brother dancing at a dance party when I was missing, I would hate them too lol. Feelings are feelings and even if you understand some things, it can't stop you from feeling them. I feel sorry for Clive tbh.
It's kinda ridiculous of Lars and Clive to have hidden throughout the whole of Ted's route that they were the ones who broke/weakened the seal of the Nidhogg when Clive accidentally summoned a part of its soul. Like, um, that's pretty crucial information that is kinda hard to believe that you hid because you didn't think summoning it weakened the seal or whatever, isn't the fact that you were able up summon a part of its soul already showing that the seal is at least partially broken??? Anyway, whatever, I would feel annoyed as Ted because they thought they fixed it but who knew that these kids broke it, like did you not think about how problematic this was when they first discussed it, and then what about when the heroine and everyone was discussing that it could be the Nidhogg again?? Sigh. I honestly cannot care for Lars and even Clive now lol, they know the magnitude of damage the Nidhogg could do and how it could affect everyone and, ugh I'll stop, now I'm just ranting lol. Anyway, it was super easy getting Clive back, so I guess they're going to delve into more of his true thoughts and feelings in his route, but still kinda weird that there was any point to this when they could have just put it in his own route since now it's so short that I didn't really care at all lol. Anyway, it's nice that Lars is trying to show better how much he cares for Clive but I guess he's gotta think about what he's saying more, especially when he said was Clive always left handed, like excuse you twin brother, that's so insulting because it's one of the most basic things to know about a person, so yes, if I was Clive, I would love hate him too probably.
Overall, I'm not a fan of Lars route lol. I think his relationship with Clive was initially nice and sweet until it was shown that even though Lars notices things, he didn't really do much about their relationship and it really reflected how much more Clive cared for him than he did. But I feel like they're probably going to talk about in Clive's route how Clive does it not only because he loves his brother but it was actually also a selfish thing because he feels like he'll never get to his brother's level, so he'd rather support him in that way so he feels like a useful person or whatever but yeah no. The way the story portrayed Lars with Clive in the last half really irked me and made me really dislike him and the heroine because instead of the usual relationship with the heroine bettering him as a person, I feel like she became a sort of priority for Lars that he never bothered to do with Clive and it makes me sad for him. Anyway, Lars and the heroine weren't really my thing anyway, like they were cute but that's all, nothing really hit me with their relationship, so yeah, he should spend proper time with his brother instead imo loll.

Ikemen Vampire Part 3 - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Route
Tumblr media
Time for the hyped Mozart! Nice start tbh, with the heroine stressed from everything that’s happening and how the guys could actually be vampires, it’s not a surprise for her to have a bit of a breakdown in her room, and what’s best for times like these? A little music! She even gets the honour of hearing Mozart playing piano🥰 Great way to fall asleep~ Not a great way to wake up to an angry and unfriendly Mozart though haha. I don’t know if Sebastian is being mean or nice by telling her to take care of Mozart’s meals from now on (bringing it to him) lol, but yep, that was definitely quite rude of Mozart to say he despises her, sounds like there’s depth to that hatred even though they’ve barely conversed. Umm, no, Arthur, please, no biting people who don’t give consent! Lol, I honestly feel like Arthur is more of a villain than the villains in previous routes just because of how much of a scare mechanic he is for the heroine in the beginning of most routes lol. I wonder if Mozart is just pushing her away from him and everything for her own good? Not that she really has a choice to stay here or not though lol. Omggg, Mozart smiling at her for having the guts to come back and clean the spill she made when he was so threatening to her was so cute! He needs to smile more! Lmao at Mozart insulting her thinking he was complimenting her, at least he did it with a smile on his face I guess loll.
Nice of Dazai to tell her some reasons as to why Mozart would be so annoyed with her, it’s understandable since he doesn’t like people touching his things and the noise (ever since her arrival) has been affecting his concentration, but yeah. Lmao, I’m starting to find Mozart’s rudeness hilarious, I loved it when she asked him if he was free, and he said he could tell that she wanted to talk to him, but then said that the feeling wasn’t mutual so he closed the door on her hahahaha. I would be so angry if I was the heroine but that was so funny😆 It was so cute when she finally kinda got through to him that she wanted to help out and belong here since she’s got nothing to do anyway and that’s why she keeps trying, it was surprising when he said he could actually understand those feelings of hers haha. I wonder why mentioning Sherlock Holmes to Arthur is taboo… HAHAHA, I love Mozart, he felt bad about saying he despises her when she’s been so kind to even cover him with his blanket when he fell asleep on his piano, so he “apologises” to her and then says, well, I’m waiting for you to forgive me LOL. 10/10 apology right there, but it’s already great compared to his usual stuff lmao. Aww, then he properly apologised, he’s such a good guy.
Lmao at the heroine comparing Mozart’s “nicer” attitude to taming a wild animal hahahaha. I love how they finally had their first normal conversation and it was about chocolate! Hahaha, it’s cute to see them insult each other so normally now too lolll. Although his hatred for carriages is legitimate due to nearly dying in one, I find it kinda silly and cute how he can’t stand it so much that he would babble on about the evils of carriages to the heroine hahahah. HAHAHA, I love how when they went to the ball and she was trying to be considerate by asking whether her holding his arm would be uncomfortable for him since he’s a germaphobe, and he’s like it’s okay if it’s you, kinda makes her (and me the reader) swoon a little bit, until he says that he thinks of her as such a simple creature, so she doesn’t even count as a human LOL. Thanks for shattering all romantic vibes Mozart. I actually find it so hilarious that the heroine thinks Mozart is rude, but really, sometimes she’s just as rude lmao. She full thought he ate something bad when he politely talked to the host of the party hahaha. I think it’s kinda nice yet saddening the things you have to compromise to do the things you love, in order for Mozart to keep progressing with his music, it was inevitable for him to learn and accustom himself to handling patrons such as the host at the ball, but it really shows how much he regards music as his life, not only did he become a vampire to continue composing and playing piano, he spent his whole human life devoted to it as well, and I don’t think anyone would belittle him for having to smile at these patrons even if it’s not “him”. It just really shows how much he cares for his music and how much he would sacrifice for it.
It’s saddening to think that Mozart composed a requiem on his deathbed, and was told that it was flawed by Salieri (his rival and closest friend that held the position of Imperial royal composer or something that Mozart wanted), but it was also then that Mozart realised all his life, he composed music and played music to survive, and entertain people, he had never once composed for himself or for any other type of joy. I guess he regrets that, and became a vampire to try and compose the true perfect piece of music. Not sure if he’ll really find it but I guess he’s got some time as a vampire haha. On another note, it’s kinda amusing to hear Amadeus Mozart and Salieri here since I’m playing Steins;Gate 0 right now as well haha. Awww, I’m so happy about the progress with their relationship! Not only does he smile at her all the time now, he even invited her to listen to him play the piano in the music room! He even referred to her as a friend, I’m so touched🥺🥺 Awww I can’t blame her for running away from the piano room when he kissed her on the cheek, that would have been surprising lol! At least she understands her feelings though😆 Lmao when Saint-Germain told Mozart there’s a persistent aristocrat who wants him to play piano for him that he has to turn down in person (instead of the usual letters he sends to all the others that invite him), and the heroine says have a safe trip, but Mozart is like you’re coming with me haha. It’s cute that he needs her to be his distraction whilst sitting in the bumpy carriage ride haha. Lmao at the happy go lucky aristocrat, at least he’s understanding and nice towards Mozart’s rejection lol.
It was so sweet when Mozart took her to town, joined in a festival and danced with her, all because she said (before they went to visit the Duke) she wanted to see what 19th century Paris was like. Mozart is so endearing. Although it’s understandable for that musician at the ball to be so angry (his financial provider gave up on him after hearing Mozart’s piano), but even I was kinda angry when he insulted Mozart for relying on his talent. It’s probably because we’ve seen how much Mozart has sacrificed for his music, not only had he sacrificed all his time in his previous life, he continues to do the same as a vampire for as long as he can. Lmao at the heroine thinking she’s on the same level (of care) as Mozart’s sheet music when he wrapped her hand in his handkerchief (because that guy grabbed her really hard). It’s so cute how she’s happy about it as well, but it’s true that that means she’s pretty important hahaha! Ooh the more a vampire likes a human, the more they want their blood? It’s nice to see Mozart finally acknowledge his feelings for the heroine even if he doesn’t want to. Omg, I wanted to cry when Mozart finally decided to face the heroine and told her his heartfelt feelings and appreciation for her making him realise that the past is what makes him him, and he even composed a song for her😭 I thought it was so sweet how he honestly told her how annoying he thought her existence was initially, but after being shown her way of life, her choices to believe in others rather than to deny them like he always did, he found a different sort of joy he never found before. I really liked how he shared his feelings with her. I honestly thought it was going to be a cliche confession and was going to die from the same cliche lines, but Mozart’s words were so heartfelt, my heart is happy for his happiness in his own growth.
Although he’s super forward, it was very considerate of Mozart to tell her that he honestly wants her to stay here, but acknowledges that this should be her decision, and her decision alone because her past is just as important as her present. He also doesn’t want to influence her decision in the heat of the moment and so won’t “take her to bed” unless she’s decided that she’ll stay here. Salieri sounds like such a pitiful villain, it’s as if some guy revived him as a vampire just to torment him again with his jealousy towards Mozart, and although Salieri admits it, he doesn’t seem to really hate Mozart at all, instead, he just can’t help but be jealous and someone probably strengthened these emotions of his to the point that’s making him crazy, so he wants Mozart to kill him so he can be free? I like how it was the heroine who taught Mozart to trust people again, and so it’s because of her that he chose to believe that Salieri didn’t mean to do any harm and came to listen to what he planned to do instead of killing him. I also like how he got the other guys as backup just in case though haha. It’s nice that they were both able to resolve things properly and even continue on their journey of creating more music, I think that’s the best blessing to this world with their talents and with their new outlook towards the world, without guilt and jealousy weighing upon them both anymore.
I find their relationship so sweet and cute now that they’ve told each other their feelings, but I also really appreciated seeing Mozart so desperately go and stop the heroine from going back to her time (when Arthur teased Mozart saying she might go back). They both decided in their minds that she would be staying but never really voiced it out loud, so it was kinda cute to see Mozart so flustered haha. And the romantic ending as usual was a projection of their everyday life now, and I found it pretty cute that it’s so normal, with them moving out, him continuing to play music, it’s just so normal and sweet, especially when he thinks of her as his muse☺️
Overall, Mozart definitely has the best route and character out of the original three guys. Not only was his story engaging and balanced, with a proper beginning, an understandable “villain” that was spoken about (as opposed to random “villains” appearing), and you could really see Mozart warm up to the heroine and grow as a person. It was also quite funny and enjoyable the whole time! Unlike the others, it was clear why he “needed” to become a vampire, why he chose to do it, how it affects him, and how his previous life affected him. I also love how their relationship kinda has them both teasing each other, being playful with each other, and it’s so great to see how much their relationship progressed from the very beginning! Just as Mozart wanted to protect her, so did she, and I think she achieved that by helping him realise what music means to him in a sense. It felt very natural, sweet, funny and wholesome, definitely my favourite route and guy. He’s so beautiful too🥰
P.S Also wanted to note that I’m FINALLYYYY up to date on my blog posts! I used to have such a huge backlog of drafts for all the routes I had done already, but now there’s literally zero. No more daily posts, but it’s so satisfying to have finally caught up with my reading haha, yay! :D

Modern Cinderella Part 9 - Jacob Taylor Route
Tumblr media
Jacob is an actor right? I can’t remember lolol. But it seems like it’s off to a different start since the heroine has been working at Aidan’s bar for 3 months already so I guess that skips all her usual cluelessness? Getting pickpocketed doesn’t count though since I’d probably be unaware as her hahaha. Nice of Jacob to help her out, he won’t let her thank him properly though lol. Until Keith suggests that he use her to help out as his acting partner haha, which I guess is useful. I like how they’re getting along.
I guess the heroine will be an actress in this route? That’s interesting. Nice to know she’s gifted in everything haha, but seeing Jacob compliment her improvement in acting and seeing his smile was great too~~ Half naked Jacob just out of the shower must have been nice eye candy hahaha! It’s cute that the heroine misses him lol, and I guess he kinda did too since he was so busy filming. I never thought about the fact that theatre acting is not static and that they’d always strive to improve their performances rather than keep to the same level of performance for the same play. It’s kinda cool and I guess that’s the best thing compared to recorded and reviewed videos that turn into dramas. There’s no redos, no trying again on stage, everything must be perfect and you’ll have to give it your all every single time, which is why plays are so amazing. How lucky for the heroine to meet the actors during their rehearsal and to try out acting with Jacob on the stage for fun!
I love how the heroine’s feelings slowly unravel because of a paparazzi photo of Jacob and I love how Jacob sees how concerned she was and just kinda goes for it hahaha. It’s nice to know that he’s interested lol. How funny that the play she’s auditioning for is Modern Cinderella and it’s practically the situation in this route lol. What’s crazy though is Keith and them dragging her to another country to find out what’s wrong with Jacob loll, I mean it’s amusing and funny in game but if that happened in real life, I’d legit be like wth? And it pretty much was a kidnapping tbh.
Arthur turned out to be an annoying guy who relied on connections to get lead roles in the past but was terrible at acting yet disrespected others, causing Jacob and him to end up having a physical fight where Arthur then quit acting. However he’s come back as a stage actor now, only to display the same unprofessional attitude he had before by quitting one week before the stage play and being super not serious about his work. Relying on connections is fine but not doing your work properly definitely isn’t! Lucky Jacob is interested in stage plays and he knows the lines because he practises with the heroine all the time so he can replace Arthur and do all this last minute. Must be great for the two of them to have a chance to act alongside each other and even be a couple! They are the true hero and heroine in the story of Modern Cinderella in this route and the game itself after all~~
Jacob’s proposal was simple but fits the idea really well considering the place he chose, so sweet and cute. Lol that the heroine was so dense about it though when it was obvious. Anyway, I really liked this route! Might be a favourite just because the heroine was likeable in this one since she’s proactive and soothing and Jacob is like such a great actor, advisor and such a sweet guy! He’s not shy but not over the top with his romance, takes it slowly but swiftly with the heroine and is passionate about his and her career. They’re a great match in this route and that’s the best thing about it; the harmony and connection the two have! Probably my favourite route tbh! <3
