The members are used to Ten’s relentless affection. He’s not afraid to show his love for his members through a hug—a kiss—a pat on the back—a few whispers shared back and forth between one another. Pre-debut his favorite member to convey his affection and love was Johnny. The 127 members never batting an eye when they seemed to be in their own world, lost in conversations and holding each other’s waist. It was a common practice for Ten, so throughout the years everyone seemed to disregard it—never questioning if he had a relationship with anyone in the group. It was just how he was.

It’s what made it easy to keep your relationship under wraps—not that the two of you ever tried to hide it or keep it from the members. There was just never a good time to tell them. Whenever the occasion arose, something more urgent took the spotlight. The longer the two of you were in a relationship, the more you felt like it didn’t matter anymore.

It’s a double edged-sword. Not exactly hiding your relationship but also having no one know you were in a relationship. On one hand it was fun messing with the members, toying with how far you could take the affection before it went from platonic to romantic in their eyes. On the other, you couldn’t openly talk about your plans with Ten—having to delve into how the two of you got together and for how long if it slipped.

Whether it was just having your legs side by side—or fingers brushing right next to each other—even just having your arms side by side was enough for him. It was unfamiliar to him.
