Like the link has stated, the animators are artists too, they want to be able to release work that they themselves are proud of, but their scenes are pretty much js getting cut out to meet deadlines, and not to mention the low pay and work conditions.

So if you want to blame someone, blame the greedy studio.

We’re supposed to feel bad for Todd, but no sympathy was given to Nia, when her film and cast was facing a major hate campaign, plus couldn’t promote due to the actors strikes.

White male-led films and shows are allowed to flop quietly, and still be given chances. And there have been plenty of male box office flops this year alone, yet the scrutiny and backlash seem reserved for projects led by women or people of colour, where failure (even if it’s out of their control) brings harsh criticism.

Regarding the "SP pushed the ichiruki agenda" there's an argument that people often misses, because yeah if they brainwashed everyone to ship IR why would this exactly be a problem? "Is because they erased canon ships moments!1!1!!" ok but how did they know? Did Kubo told someone in the studio which couples were going to be canon? The "biggest" IR filler scenes (that Kubo adored mind you) were BEFORE the couples become canon, so it doesn't make sense to blame them for not adding it? Also Kubo never complained about it, neither when it was airing neihter when the manga ended.

Also Kubo talked about IR having matching underwear as merch and did the honeymoon spread drawing, of course the studio wouldn't think that giving more fanservice is a bad thing when the author himself acts like this 😭. They probably thought IR was going to be the endgame.

I very often use modified versions of this brush here (it's free in Clip Studio Assets):

I rarely use a brush I download as is, I modify them until I get something I like working with! I have like, 6 versions of this brush that I use regularly so it's not as simple as saying I only use this brush but this is still a good base if you wanna try it out!

Other than that I mostly just use the basic brushes that comes with CSP (although modified as well)

Seeing Twitter users recommending the People Make Games documentary as a good way to get insight on the issue is so….

I know, I’m always extremely disappointed whenever I come across someone who thinks it’s the end all be all explanations regarding the Studio ZA/UM situation.

Recommending that video always comes with a heavy caveat from me that the person needs to stop around the 40 minute mark since the interviewer shows a very clear bias that’s unbecoming of a journalist.

Regardless, now that more people are finding out about these layoffs, which might take out members of the studio that have been there since the beginning, it could finally help smack some sense into those Twitter users that actually thought, FOR SOME REASON, Rostov, Kurvitz, and Hindpere were lying for shits and giggles rather than seeing what's ACTUALLY going on which is that the investors have a very obvious agenda against the real wronged party. Hopefully this'll also open their eyes to how the People Make Games video fed into this twisted narrative that Kurvitz was somehow at fault/responsible for the theft of his own IP, but that might be asking too much from their concrete brains. Here's hoping though!

Zaahir is a guide who escorts souls to the afterlife, an entity that had no form until recently. He has a keen eye, and the ability to judge one's soul. He also works at The Oasis as its bartender and owner.

The Oasis and Zaahir are a mystery that no normal human can solve. The bar only opens at night and those who pass by the Oasis in the daytime are often left confused because, in the morning, the bar does not exist. The store looks abandoned and deteriorated until night falls, and its appearance changes to one that customers are familiar with. The Oasis, paradise for the lost.

The Oasis is both a safe space for the living and the dead. Most customers of the Oasis are human, however some tend to be more on the dead side, lost souls to be exact. Souls that had just passed away and end up wandering here, to paradise. The dead that show up at the bar are often in need of guidance, and Zaahir is the one that helps them. He judges their character and guides the spirits off to the underworld. 

He tends to keep to himself at the bar and focus on his duties and work, however ever since being transformed into an animal... Things have gotten, harder.

Ah, hopefully that wasn't too long of a summary! But anyways, here he is! My blush blush OC, Zaahir ❤︎ I wanted to make OCs for this game since the very beginning when I first played, because that's what I do- and I end up really liking this one.

If it wasn't that obvious, Zaahir is based on the ancient Egyptian mythology deity, Anubis, the jackal-headed god. Zaahir's animal design is that of a black canine that resembles the jackal, that is, Anubis's head.

I ended up taking a lot of visual inspiration via characters like Cyno (genshin impact), Jamil (twst), and Gallagher (Honkai star rail), though I don't think he would act like any of them at all.

Also since Zaahir can judge people’s souls, I’d like to think it would be useful when he makes drinks since he has a special unique menu item at his bar that anyone can order (dead or alive).

It's the customer special, a special custom made drink where it's not available on the menu for anyone to order and is one of a kind for the customer who orders it! 

He creates each customer special based on the person, he’d ask for the customer’s preferences of course, like if they’d want it alcoholic or nonalcoholic, if they have any allergies or preferences. Then he creates the drink solely based on their soul, and what he can grasp from it. (Gotta draw blush blush character's inspired drinks now- HISHWAD)

Anyways I hope you guys like him! I’ll probably end up drawing him some more since the OC brain rot gets me sometimes- but after I draw the other bb boys. I’ve been neglecting some of them… oops!
