Weird fucking end of the day, y'all!
I've got a progress pride flag pin and a little round ace pride flag pin on my backpack. The progress pin has been there long term but even the ace pin has been on there for probably a year now. I've gotten exactly one chill "hey me too!" in that whole time (nice!)
So ofc it's the day I'm drop dead tired, I'm talking brain absolutely fried, need to get home asap, lay on the floor, and recalibrate type of bone tired. Ofc THIS is the day a coworker I'm walking out of the building with decides to ask what the ace pin is

Eddie's interview from Style Magazine
By Valentina Ravizza
Photo: Boo George
Styling by Fabio Immediato.
Translate by me from Italian to English
HE WOULD HAVE had to spend the holiday in Italy,” I have a real obsession for your country “,Eddie Redmayne responds from a gray London,” more suited to my pale complexion”, and tells for the first time (and I try to collect my own thoughts) of his next character, the American activist Tom Hayden, protagonist of the protests against the Vietnam war in 1968 and 77e trial of the Chicago 7, the new film by Aaron Sorkin, arriving on Netflix from October 16. "Democracy is something extraordinarily beautiful and complex, nothing comes easily, we must defend our freedoms if we don't want them to be taken away from us."
It can be risky for an actor to take a public position, Aren't you afraid to undermine your popularity?
“The truth is, I'm not afraid to take sides, we all should. I feel a social responsibility as a human being: today more than ever we should ask politicians certain questions. I'm not one who particularly likes to take risks unless it's for something I deeply believe in.”
For exemple?
To play Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything I met several people affected  by ALS and doctors who helped me to learn more about the disease, and now I am among the supporters of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. During the lockdown in Britain was made a list of  vulnerable people  and I found it shocking that patients with  motor neuron disease were not part of it, so I spoke to several politicians and went to help them.  As an actor my voice has more chances to be heard and I can bring  more light on this topics, I have to do it.
Also politicians as in the case of The Trial of Chicago 7?
This film tells how we got rights by changing wrong laws and remember  that progress could have gone in one direction rather than another.
Is there any similarity between the protests of the 1960s and those of movements such as Black Lives Matter ?
There are moments in history when people ask for society to really represent them and that's exactly what happened then and what many people are doing in these months. The demonstrations mentioned in the movie were against the  Vietnam  war, but also supported the claims  of the civil rights and feminist movements, the one against which they are protesting today has it’s roots in systemic racism, so the similarities are many. And there are also several other parallels between the two political situations: at the 1968 Democratic convention there was a former vice president, Hubert H. Humphrey, right-hand man of Lyndon Johnson, who ran for the White House, as today  former Vice President Joe Biden is in running, and  there was a Republican candidate for president who was betting  for “law and order” , then it was Richard Nixon, now the same campaign is being carried out by Donald Trump.
Today there is social media, what would have happened if Tom Hayden and the others from Chicago had it?
Hard to say, myself I don't use them . While they represent a great tool of democracy that gives everyone a voice from the shore to  power, they also contribute to exacerbate and amplify the falsehoods and prejudices of those who listen only to what they want to hear, in a sort of echo chamber, and they can be used to manipulate things in a very pervasive way.
Is it more difficult to play a figure you esteem like Hayden or one you despise?
I try not to judge, to dissociate my sense of reality to recreate hers. I do as much research as possible, accumulating a lot of information and then throwing everything away and play  only  what's in the script, hoping that all the prep work has been absorbed somehow into my body, And knowing that that movie will never be. a documentary: I am creating a painting, not a photograph. For this I must accept that I will never be able to be exactly that person, that in something I will necessarily fail.
And when the character is a pure author’s Fantasy product?
It’s like when you were told at school to make  a free written essay: I hated it, I said “please, give me a lead!”, In these cases I try first of all to understand what the boundaries are, to find some elements of truth: for example, in the saga of the Fantastic Beasts to become the "Magizoologist" Newt Scamander I started by observing the work of zoologists.
How is it divided between entertainment and committed movies?
In my choices I have always let myself be guided by instinct: I read a script that my body reacts, I get excited, I laugh, I am touched to the point of  seeing myself in the role of that and than understand that I really have to do it.
Did the same happen with Tom Hayden?
They first  told me about it three years ago while  I was on vacation in Morocco, when told me it was Sorkin who wanted me it was like a dream come true. I read the script and  it not only ran , but it had a kind of syncopated rhythm I immediately loved it. Then when I got better informed about the project, I found out that it had been written years ago and I couldn't believe  he hadn't seen the light yet.
In fact, the first draft is from 2007.
We wondered if this movie had an audience, if it was current enough.Instead with what’s going it has become more and more pressing
So much so that in order to release it this year, given the health emergency Paramount Pictures has decided to sell the film to Netflix (56 millions of dollars) to be distributed directly via streaming.
There could be no better way than Netflix to reach as many people as possible. And I say this as a passionate cinemas’  lover . Unfortunately in the last 20 years I have witnessed a general loss of attention span: there is always a new story to know, we are constantly being pulled in different directions, and instead find ourselves in a cinema hall being forced to sit there for two  hours and  half even when our attention tries to escape, it’s a kind of pleasant claustrophobia.
And theater, is  it still part of your life?
I know that  more years go by without me returning to the stage  more what I’ll say l’ll sound insincere, but yes, my career started from there, I spent 5 o 6 years working in London theaters. I knew almost nothing about cinema until that world began to open its doors to me, I had to learn a lot on the set.  I’ve been looking for a theatrical project, but so far  what has been proposed to me are works by the greatest authors, and instead I’d like do something new, fresh. Maybe I found it, but  I still can't say anything.
Have you ever thought of letting yourself be taken one day by another passion besides acting?
My other great love is art,  but if I ever have to work on it, I imagine myself more as a curator than as a co-worker. But I honestly think that being an actor is extraordinary: whatever part you encounter on your path continues to grow:although sure it’s a wild life and it's a drug.
 Are you a workaholic?
In the beginning I was because I had no alternative: I was constantly auditioning and once I got a part  immediately got to work, Until in this unfair world of acting there came a moment when I was suddenly successful and overnight I finally had the opportunity to choose. Many people are looking forward to retirement, I hope I’m offered roles even when I’m 80 years old.
At that age maybe you will also be behind the camera?
I'm a bit of a control freak,so yes, I could potentially one day  go directing, even just out of curiosity  But only if I had to find the right project, something in which I feel safe,

It was the second Monday of March which meant it was time for a monthly status report. This was one of the hundreds of meetings I attended in which I usually had a razor-sharp focus because this was the part of my job I missed. I missed having a direct role in operations, subverting attempts at data breaches, and working on scripts that would improve day to day operations.
I looked around the table and my eyes settled on the new Senior Manager, although I guess I couldn’t call him “new” anymore. Tim Millner-Brown had already weathered three anonymous hacks and managed to keep everything (and everyone) calm.
Since Dad retired in January and this was now considered a transitory time, it was all the more important operations ran without hiccups. I fixed my gaze on JaLeah, then switched to Ali as he began to speak about a new script to assess WiFi network vulnerabilities. As I listened, my mind flashed back to the meeting Colin and I had with Ali to reprimand him and a wave of disgust prickled through me. I swore to Elliot that his attackers would pay, but here was Ali, confident and happy, leading Elliot’s team.
Tim interrupted Ali, asking, “Why can’t a two-way handshake be enough? Less connections, less chance for an attack?”
Ali was quiet before he said, “Let’s get Alderson to explain. He’s leading the work on the new script.”
Jayne returned after a few moments, Elliot following her like he had been summoned into the principal’s office. He scanned the room, his eyes lingering on mine until I gave him a quick smile, reassuring him he was here to do what he did best.
Tim redirected his question to Elliot who thought for a moment before clarifying, “A three-way handshake is necessary to avoid half-connections. If one ISN changes their mind and doesn’t want to connect, the server doesn’t see the re-sent SYN so it thinks the ISN got its ACK and the connection was established, but it wasn’t—it won’t ever be closed. If we can cut the time it takes for the GTK to associate with a device, we can cut the time a hacker has to gain an access point.
“Without compromising data flow,” he added.
This was not the same Elliot who was ready to quit a year ago rather than give a presentation. I felt a swell of pride at how far he had come, the confidence he had gained. All he needed was someone to believe in him and to push him. And along with my swell of pride came a surge of anger as an image of Elliot, blacked out and bleeding in a broken server room, flashed through my mind.
“Tim, work with Elliot to determine how much time he needs, then work with Ali to find out how much that time will cost. I want a report by Wednesday. And if everything adds up, you can start on Friday—or should we make it Monday so as not to infringe on anyone’s weekend plans?”
My eyes never wavered from Ali’s face as I watched it pale, but from my peripheral vision, I could also see Elliot’s eyes widen. Then, Miles’ voice echoed through my mind on the day I was forced to appoint Ali as Colin’s replacement: You bet the house, and you lost.
But as long as I was in charge, Ali would know I’d never forget what he did. And in that moment, I wanted Elliot to know I hadn’t forgotten either. Never mind that the secret I was keeping from him was burning a hole in my stomach, pushing me to feel even more protective of Elliot than usual.
JaLeah smirked, but she played the placater better than anyone. She peppered Elliot with questions, then Tim dismissed everyone so he and I could go over his analytics.
“Thanks, Elliot,” I said, as he left the room, his lips turning up in a soft smile.
“The two of you are dating?” Tim asked as soon as the door shut.
I raised my eyebrow and turned to look at him.
“Yes?”
“So, it’s not against company policy to date someone you supervise?”
“Elliot and I were in a sort of unique circumstance. We signed a contract with HR, but I ended up being promoted almost immediately afterward, which eliminated the direct conflict.”
“Hmm,” Tim said as his fingers tapped on the folder in front of him.
“Why?”
“JaLeah is . . . well, she’s—”
“Say no more. Obviously I’m a proponent of shooting your shot in the workplace, but Elliot and I were sure to be super transparent about it. And that’s all the advice you’re getting from me. If you want to know if she’s interested, ask her.”
Tim smiled, and I felt like I saw him as a person for the first time instead of just as my replacement.
“And I would be happy to take over her evaluations in the event she is interested.”
Tim’s smile grew a bit wider and he thanked me, twice, before we dove into the data.
It was close to lunch time when Tim and I finished, so I sought out Elliot to see if he wanted to go out. As I walked toward his workstation, he was oblivious to the world, his eyes glued to the screen and his shoulders almost perfectly still despite the furious pace at which I knew his fingers were moving over the keyboard. A pang of guilt resurfaced for the thousandth time this month as I reminded myself I needed to make a decision about what I discovered.
Since I found the grand jury’s testimony, I had been conducting some “research” on my own. All 23 members of the jury, even the one who had voted not to indict, had been receiving the same amount of money for the past 13 years: 2,500 a month.
All 23 people claimed the money on their tax returns, but in 23 different ways—gas leases, oil leases, rental properties, gifts, renting their parking spot in the city, tips, bonuses, and on and on. It was clear someone had met with them and told them exactly how to keep this money under the radar. And if someone met with them to lay out the process for receiving money, then there had to be evidence of that meeting—or that person.
A part of me was dying to share this with Elliot, but another part of me was adamantly against it, afraid of what I would unleash within him if he was given the opportunity to pursue vengeance. My mind kept returning to who he was on the night of Dad’s party and wondering if I could trust that part of Elliot, that part who seemed ready to do something a lot more rash than scratch an itch or even just file a lawsuit. There was a part of Elliot, hell, there were still so many parts of him I didn’t know, didn’t understand.
What I did understand was that every time I looked at him, I felt guilty. And when Elliot’s eyes glanced up and noticed me, he stopped and smiled, a sweet, open grin and Miles’ words flickered through my mind again.
You bet the house, and you lost.
* * * * *
Time has a funny way of making decisions for you, especially if you’ve been riddled by indecision. Once enough time has passed, the control is going to be taken from you—the decision will be made for you, rather than by you.
By the end of March, something uncomfortable had settled between Elliot and me. He was growing distant, closed off, and I stopped working to maintain our open line of communication. The more guilty I felt about hiding the grand jury transcript, the less I wanted to see him. I knew I needed to tell him, but if I had found out about the juror payoffs, Elliot would be able to, and in half the time.
And everything could lead back to my father.
And something deep inside of me knew he knew—I didn’t know the how or the what, but I was certain he knew I was hiding something.
It was after 10:00 pm on a Thursday night when I got home from a dinner party, a business meeting disguised as a social gathering, something I never invited Elliot to anymore after his vitriolic rant.
I was more than surprised to find Elliot sitting on the floor near the balcony, the door open as a wet March wind blew in, smoking a cigarette as nearly half a pack of butts were already stubbed out in the ashtray I knew had been empty.
He was drinking a beer and he was clad entirely in black, topped off with his well-worn hoody, which was something I hadn’t seen on him in a long time.
His hood was up, probably to fight off the chill of the wind, but I wasn’t sure if the explanation was so simple tonight.
“Hey,” I said softly as I pushed the door shut behind me. “I told you I had a thing tonight, didn’t I?”
Elliot nodded yes, as his lips wrapped around the end of his cigarette.
“Is everything okay?” I asked, dread settling over me like a weighted blanket as I watched him take a long drag, the cherry flaring red in the dim light of my apartment.
I slid out of my coat and hung it up on the rack before reaching down to unzip my boots. As I kicked them off, I waited for Elliot to answer. I was tired and wanted nothing more than to change out of my clothes, maybe shower away the day, and go to bed.
Except the smarter part of me knew that wasn’t going to happen and filled me with a sudden desire to just  get this over with—just blow the lid off the box and let the scraps settle so we could get back to our normal.
But that would require fixing Elliot’s biggest flaw: his inability to move forward because he never really addressed the root of his problems.
I watched as he stubbed out his cigarette and tipped his beer back, finishing the last swallow.
I sighed in frustration.
“Either tell me what this,” I said as I gesticulated to and around him, “is all about or let me go to bed. It’s been a long day.”
“Where were you?”
I blinked, irritated because we just went over this.
“I told you where I was—at a dinner party. You know, those things I don’t invite you to anymore because you hate everyone?”
Elliot stood, reaching back to slide the balcony door shut. He didn’t take his hood down as he walked to the kitchen sink and rinsed out his bottle before setting it on the counter next to the others.
Chalk that up to something else out of character; Elliot never drank alone.
“You’re lying to me,” he said quietly, his back still turned.
“About the dinner?”
“No. Maybe? How am I supposed to know when you’re the one who’s always lying?”
“I can’t do this,” I said, running a shaky hand through my hair.
“You can’t do this?” Elliot said, his voice rising as he turned around. “You’re the one keeping things from me!” he shouted, his eyebrows raised, making his eyes look impossibly huge, and the cords on his neck standing out as he pointed his finger at me.
“How did you find out?” I asked quietly as I leaned on the counter, looking at the swirled pattern within the granite, unable to meet what was surely an intense gaze.
“I’ve been waiting, Y/N. Waiting for over a fucking month, wondering why you wanted to hide it from me. Wondering what else you decided not to tell me. Wondering if everything you have told me is just a way for you to manipulate me—”
My head shot up, my eyes finding his instantly as I asked, “Why would I want to manipulate you?”
Elliot didn’t answer; his eyes were dark, a stormy grey as they swirled with clouds of emotion. He felt betrayed, and I watched as his eyes settled on my tote that was sitting on the kitchen stool.
“You saw the transcript,” I said with a sad sigh. “You weren’t supposed to find out like that.”
I lowered my gaze back to the granite of the countertop, a strange relief pushing off that weighted blanket of dread. No more hiding. No more agonizing over whether to tell him.
The silence that followed my realization was dreadful, stretching out until my ears rang and my eyes blurred as I stared at the countertop.
“I can’t trust you anymore,” Elliot said, his voice cracking.
But that was the wrong thing to say. My nostrils flared as a thick, white-hot anger rose up in my throat like bile.
“You! You can’t trust me because I withheld something from you? Once! When have I ever done anything like this in our entire relationship?” I questioned, my voice bordering on shrill, so unlike my usual tone that it didn’t even sound like my own voice.
“You’ve broken promises.”
“When?”
“After the server room. You promised me ‘the fucking assholes’ would lose their jobs. And now one of them is my supervisor.”
I stared at Elliot dumbly until he dropped his gaze, leaning back onto the counter.
“We talked about that,” I said, my tone a few octaves closer to normal. “I offered to refuse to promote Ali. You told me things like that happen—it’s a part of the way to ‘enact change.’ You told me not to fight back against his promotion.”
“You promised,” Elliot mumbled, his knuckles growing white as his grip tightened on the countertop.
Once again, Elliot said the wrong thing. If this was all he could come up with, I was livid. Every thing he did that I had to work to let go of, to not make a big deal over, every hurt I had to swallow because I loved him, came rushing out.
“And how many promises have you broken to me? Fuck, Elliot! Not even promises. How many times have you bailed on me? Hacked me? Hurt me?
“No,” I scoffed, “You never meant to do it, but you fucking did do it. I have been so patient with you—”
“I’m not a child!” Elliot interrupted through clenched teeth.
“You’re pissed at me for something you told me to do!”
“I told you to withhold information about my dad’s death?”
“I needed time, Elliot. I needed to analyze the risk—”
“I’m not a piece of fucking data, Y/N! You can’t—” Elliot paused as he pushed off the counter and stepped toward the island. “You can’t analyze me. You can’t predict my next move or maybe that’s the problem? Maybe that’s what you’ve been doing all along? Manipulating me because you think you’re smarter than me.”
“That is not what I meant,” I said, my brows drawn and my mouth closing into a frown.
“You begged me to trust you and I knew—I fucking knew someone like you couldn’t be trusted!”
“Someone like me?” I shouted back, pushing away from the counter and marching around the island to stand in front of him. “Someone like ME? Surely you’re not going to throw Dad’s money in my face again. You’re starting to sound like a broken fucking record!
“You know what—no,” I said, shaking my head and turning away from him pacing to the balcony door before turning around and slowly walking back toward Elliot. “You don’t get to do this and get away with it this time. I can’t walk on eggshells while you get to be shitty to me whenever you have a bad time. Don’t you want to know why you’re like this? Don’t you want to know why you’re so paranoid, why you push away people who fucking love you? Don’t you want to know why you don’t trust anyone?”
I was a breath away from him as he began to withdrawal further and further into himself. And because I was watching his face, my eyes desperately pleading with him to see reason, I saw the change—Elliot looked away, seemingly in exasperation, and his eyelids fluttered so subtly that if I had blinked at that very moment, I would have missed it.
When he looked back at me, Elliot Alderson was gone; now, I was met with the steel gaze of the same person who had demanded I leave Elliot alone as he sat on the floor of my closet during the Fourth of July.
I took a step back, my mouth dropping open as fear rushed through my body, my eyes filling with tears as I realized I was afraid of him—afraid of Elliot.
“You should be afraid, little girl,” he chuckled darkly, his voice low, the intonation different. “Now get the fuck out of here and leave him alone.”
“You’re—you’re in my apartment,” I stammered, still clinging to anger despite my fear.
He looked around, remembering, and he fixed a glare at me, his eyes unwelcoming as his jaw clenched, the muscles twitching before he moved toward the front door.
As I watched him walk away, my anger and fear turned to desperation. Darlene’s words rang through my mind, ‘If he bails on you, tries to push you away, it’s not really him.’”
It’s not really him.
“Stop—Elli—whoever you are! Please. Don’t go,” I pleaded. “Stay. Talk to me. Help me understand.”
He paused, his head turning to slightly look over his shoulder before he moved toward the front door again. I raced to it and wedged myself between him and the door, placing my hand over the knob.
“Stay,” I begged. “Don’t leave like this. After everything—please don’t leave us like this. I want to help you, Elliot—if you’re in there, come back to me.”
His hands flew up and slammed into the door on either side of my head.
I jumped, flinching as he leaned into me, his lips beside my ear as he growled, “I fucking warned you!”
“During the Fourth. I remember,” I whispered.
He pulled back and looked at me with those icy eyes.
“That was the first time you pushed too hard, came too close. I can’t allow you to do that, sweetheart. Elliot’s had enough time with you. It ends now,” he said as he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me away from the door.
I grabbed his arm and he shook me off, but I grabbed him again and pulled him back enough to allow me to wedge myself against the door again.
“I told you,” he yelled, his voice harsh and unrecognizable. “I can’t protect him if you keep forcing him to open up!”
I didn’t let my fear stop me as I pressed him.
“Protect him from what? Did someone hurt him? I read about what can cause—”
His hand flew against my mouth with enough force to knock my head against the door. He pressed hard and cut off my words.
Never did his eyes leave mine as Elliot’s would have, especially in a situation of such discomfort and intense emotion. Never once did he look away.
“Shut. The. Fuck. Up.”
I held his gaze, refusing to waver. He pressed harder, the pressure on the back of my head becoming a painful throbbing.
“Can you shut the fuck up?” he asked, his brows nearly reaching his hairline.
I watch his face transition to a look of smug satisfaction as I manage to slightly nod.
He released his grip, and I deflated, the fight leaving my body as I stepped away from the door. I leaned against the wall before slowly sinking to the floor.
I didn’t raise my eyes as I quietly asked, “Are you going to keep Elliot from seeing me again?”
He sighed, some of the fight leaving him, too.
“Elliot loves you—this wasn’t supposed to happen, Y/N.”
As he said my name, my head jerked up, the syllables so foreign on his tongue I knew, without a doubt, that whoever was standing in front of me was someone completely different than Elliot Alderson.
“You have to understand that it’s my job to keep him safe. Not yours, not Darlene’s. No one else’s. No one else can keep him safe.”
“What about a psychiatrist?”
“Don’t be fucking ridiculous. If they don’t fuck him up with 15 different kinds of meds, they’ll just throw him in an institution. Is that what you want? Elliot locked up like some kind of sick-o creep?”
“I would never let that happen.”
“Daddy’s money gonna buy Elliot a happy little place in the Adirondacks? Get him a nurse, someone nice to take care of him like his worthless mother never could?”
“Is that why you hate me? I have money? Or because I consider Elliot family?”
“My job is to protect him, and I’ve decided you’re not worth the risk, sweetheart.”
Without another glance, he opened the door and slammed it shut behind him.
I buried my head in my hands, the tears I had held back throughout the entire ordeal bursting out in a harsh sob. I crawled over to the door and locked it, pulling myself up by the knob in order to secure the deadbolt.
Not that it mattered since Elliot had a key.
Not that it mattered since Elliot was being held prisoner inside of his own body.
And no one, except himself, held that key.
* * * * *
Elliot didn’t come to work on the next day.
And then he didn’t come for another three days.
When I read the email from Ali questioning Elliot’s whereabouts, I wasn’t surprised. I called him up to my office and had the secretary shut the door after she let him in.
Ali had the good manners to look concerned, but I could detect the haughtiness underneath.
“I’ve noticed that Alderson’s been out for the past few days. Can you provide some insight? He was the lead on our new WiFi scripts, as I’m sure you remember.”
The lie came much easier than any other lie in my life had.
“He’s had a death in the family, Ali. I suggest postponing the project until he returns. Ask JaLeah for someone who can handle white hat duties if your team needs another hacker.”
Some of the haughtiness fell from Ali’s face.
“Oh. Well, my condolences to him when you see him.”
“Thank you. Will there be anything else?”
“Nope—you’ve always got the answers, boss.”
“Don’t call me that,” I said as I rolled my eyes and offered him a crooked smile in an attempt to subvert his attention from the abnormality of Elliot’s absences.
Ali grinned and shrugged his shoulders.
The partial smile fell from my face the instant the door shut behind Ali, and I felt sick as my mind worked over my lie. I didn’t live my life in the shadows. I lived with integrity.
And I had just told a boldfaced lie, one that would surely make its way around the office, and if Elliot never came back to work, everyone would know I lied for my boyfriend.
What a fucking mess.
I had to see him; I had to try to talk to my Elliot, the one I was in love with, and not this other who seemed to want nothing more than for me to fuck off for good.
I made a promise to Darlene not to let Elliot bail, and clearly, the Aldersons took promises made to them seriously.

charlotte olivia blaire, soon to be known more widely as LOTTIE, was born on october 5th, 1996, in new york city. she’s the eldest of four children born to alison blaire & warren worthington iii, her younger siblings being madeleine eliza, gabrielle louisa and sebastian warren.
for several years, lottie didn’t have to be exceptional to be her parents favorite. they didn’t have any other KIDS for a while, so she really only ever had to be herself ; and that was enough. she got used to being spoiled rotten ( both her parents were rich in their own right, so it wasn’t as if she ever had to worry for anything ), but there wasn’t REALLY an alternative to that. when you only have one kid to focus all your attention on and go all out for during birthdays and the holidays... they end up a little spoiled.
alison and warren largely kept lottie out of the public eye, for the first six years of her life. they’d go so far as to throw a towel over her head when they were carrying her across the tarmac to a private jet, even ; and it was all in the name of good. they didn’t want her to be torn apart by GOSSIP magazines before she was old enough to really comprehend them, and aside from a few pictures ( one toddler breakdown was caught in full by a member of the paparazzi, and the family got a nice settlement when legal action was taken against the magazine that published the photos ), she was pretty well sheltered. i’d go so far as to call that lottie as a whole ; SHELTERED.
all bets were not completely off with the births of madeleine and gabrielle, per say ; but alison and warren DID mellow out some, taking the kids for days out to disneyland, etc, and only keeping them all covered up as long as they were push chair bound. lottie very quickly became something of a little darling. she had always been the sort of kid who got distracted doing something as mundane as talking to her mom by catching her own reflection over alison’s shoulder and having to really look at herself ; she LOVED having cameras pointed in her direction, and she played up to them quite well. the media circus went wild the very first time she looked directly at them and did a little twirl, her smile huge and gap toothed, her ending a cutesy wave. if she knew she had an AUDIENCE, she did the most to make it worth their while.
lottie was definitely the one most obsessed with the idea of following in her mothers footsteps. unfortunately, it was very obvious from a time she was very young that she couldn’t hold a tune to save her LIFE, but nothing was more sure to her as she grew than the fact that if she had gotten nothing else, she had gotten ALL the looks. it didn’t take very much twisting of their arms to allow her pursue a child model career, something that was obviously going to bring her joy ( in turn, something they wouldn’t deny her ). lottie was a natural. she had her own tween clothing brand. she had offers from across the globe to shoot pictures for different products. once in a while, you might get the jingle from one such advertisement that she was the face of stuck in your head, even today.
she was fifteen when all bets really WERE off, for good, and wingin’ it with the worthingtons became reality tv’s new trump card. her parents really did not need the money, but... after much discussion, they couldn’t argue the fact that it would give mutants as a whole the kind of media exposure that they’d never really HAD before. through wiwtw, they were able to show themselves as a family. sure, it was dramatic at times ; but they were able to be a really positive influence on the public’s opinion of mutants, and they really did feel as if they were having a direct hand in forming a new, humanized VIEW of their kind in the minds of people who had never really had such a thing, before.
lottie LOVED it, and that should really come as zero surprise. she loved the attention, mostly, and was an active part of social media from then onwards - live tweeting their episodes, doing instagram advertisements for the newest fads, interacting with people on her level. she was not the smartest of people, and that shone through on the families show regardless of whatever script guide they had ( sure they’d deny it, but... that didn’t stop it from existing ), but... lottie wasn’t offended when people turned something she had said or something she had done into a viral meme. she wasn’t hurt when a row of comments beneath something she had tweeted were largely rude. she really was the sort of person who thought ‘all attention is good attention’.
wingin’ it with the worthingtons ( a very ironic title for a show comprised mostly of blaire’s ) took up a lot of time, but nothing REALLY changed in terms of how their lives were lead. the families time had always been largely split between wherever either parent had to be for BUSINESS, and their home in gardendale. really, it just meant they got to spend even more time together, and even more time closer to the school for gifted youngsters that was somewhat a home to all of them. lottie loved traveling when she was a child, far more than she enjoyed being in one place ; but she was not a history buff, per say, or even largely interested in the TOURIST side of new cities. it wasn’t a huge loss to her, not to be in a new city each month.
really ; lottie’s life has been quite ordinary, in the sense of... it’s entirely ordinary in HER eyes, and probably the least bit so for everybody else. she’s never faced all too much, and counts winning celebrity love island season 9 as her greatest achievement.
SECTION TWO OF THREE : HEADCANONS
lottie isn’t really very intelligent, at least in terms of... book smarts and street knowledge. she’s been very sheltered in her life, and she’s never really had to try very hard - her looks have gotten her far, and she scraps by in school enough that it’s never been too much of an issue. she’s quite self aware, but she isn’t very bothered by the fact. in lottie’s eyes, making fun of her for such a thing ( which is something she’s no stranger to ) is more a cheap shot than anything else, and she’s never been the kind to think too deeply on it.
she attended xavier’s school for gifted youngsters... fairly sporadically, really. it was where her parents thought she BELONGED, and she never argued the fact with them - it was certainly easier than many of the alternatives - but... she also never went there with any real desire to be a future member of the x-men, and she’s always felt that’s pretty much the only reason to ATTEND xavier’s. she switched to private education for a few years while she was focusing on her own career, but she’s attending paragon academy now as a kind of ‘break’ following last years love island win, mostly to regroup and decide what she wants to pursue next.
she has a very interesting mutation, with a lot of potential - but she’s never really cared to... develop it, much. lottie has light manipulation, and all that REALLY gives her is the ability to fly ( through the manipulation of light ) and, tragically - emotion based luminescence. in layman's terms, lottie involuntarily glows based on the strong emotions that she’s feeling at any one time. if she’s good and angry, she glows literal red. passionate, purple. happy? green. maybe she’d have more desire to learn how to use her gift if she didn’t feel like a mood ring 70% of the time.
madeleine "ellie” eliza blaire is fifteen years old and the smartest of all the worthinton-blaire children, by a LONGSHOT. when she’s older, she’s gonna do something incredible, like... cure cancer, or reinstate pluto as a planet. she and lottie have a complicated dynamic, in that... they love each other, greatly, but are huge sources of frustration to the other. ellie finds lottie to be quite dense ( no arguments ), and though on the flip side, lottie is always REALLY impressed by her sisters intelligence... she also finds her to be kind of a know it all. it’s a classic case of neither of them really understanding one another. lottie loves to play up to the cameras, and ellie mostly lurks in the background ( one time taking a stand and wearing a hoodie she had made herself saying she didn’t consent to the use of her image on tv ). while they’d absolutely go to the ends of the earth for one another, they have no interest in BEING like the other, and they aren’t the sort of sisters who share everything and get along 100% of the time. ellie is the only child to have the actual worthington wings - they’re as tall as she is and feathered, though rather than being white, they have a distinct baby blue tint.
gabrielle “abbie” louisa blaire is twelve, and has more ambition than anyone lottie’s ever met - and the intelligence to get herself where she wants to be. while she’s far more like charlotte than anyone else is ( they’re both far too invested in their looks, for one, and have a GENUINE interest in what the gossip magazines are saying most days ), she’s also sharp as a tack and incredibly driven. she and lottie get along the best, and there’s little that lottie loves more than helping her little sister do her makeup or choose an outfit ; she doesn’t feel threatened by her in the least, but she does kind of understand why their parents were so reluctant to allow her get started at the offset. she’s definitely not the type to try and dissuade abbie from doing anything she wants to, but she does think it would have been nice for her to be young for a little bit longer. as the only child to INHERIT their mothers voice, her goal is to find stardom before she turns fourteen ; she’ll probably get there, given that she’s currently competing on ‘the voice kids’.
sebastian “bash” warren blaire is seven, and alison and warren’s only son. given that there’s the LARGEST gap between him and lottie, they wouldn’t be classed as the closest of siblings - but lottie loved when he was a baby, and taking care of him was where she found her love of babysitting, in general. it’s not a very noble job, but what about it, right? bash is definitely the child where all the rules and regulations that the other three had lived through went out the window. his birth announcement ( including a picture of his sleeping self ) was the most liked picture on instagram the year that he was born ( though it lost its crown not too far into the new year ), and he’s had his own youtube channel since he was five - reviewing toys, mostly, but it’ll eventually evolve into video games at the rate he’s going. he boasts the LARGEST collection of funko pop toys out of anyone he knows, and has two whole rooms dedicated to his things. he’s probably the most spoiled out of all four of the siblings, but they all sort of willfully allow it. his mutation hasn’t shown itself, yet, but he’ll probably work out a way to make himself tik tok relevant using it when it does.
SECTION THREE OF THREE : WANTED CONNECTIONS
i don’t have many wrote up yet so please... stick w me.
she definitely has friends from xavier’s, given that she attended the school - but i imagine they vary in terms of... closeness and also, vibe. there’s probably people who find her endearing, but there’s also definitely people who aren’t really her friend and can’t be classed it. any and all xavier’s connects u can think of, including close friends, mutuals, enemies and exes, are open !
give me two people who r like... her gretchen weiners and regina george. they’re definitely not real friends, but they’re as rich as one another and as used to a life of comfort as one another, so they FEEL like shared life experience dictates what they shld be. it’s very surface level and they probably talk shit abt each other ( or at the very least abt lottie, but i don’t take that personal ) all the time.
one person who’s genuinely... nothing like her. think AIMEE & MAEVE from sex education, as the insp. lottie is quite shallow and naive, but they’re much more gritty and knowledgeable. their friendship is genuine and they care about her a lot and vice versa, but maybe they don’t spend much time together in public for whatever reason.
exes! flings! etc. lottie has quite a few, i imagine
LOTTIE BLAIRE, our TATI GABRIELLE fc, is looking for her EX FIANCÉ connection who looks like LUCIEN LAVISCOUNT, GEORGE MACKAY, SANTIAGO SEGURA, ANY MALE / MALE ALIGNED FC who is 22+. you DO have to contact prior to applying at PARABCLLUMS or DISCORD. ( just over a year ago, lottie won celebrity love island season nine [ winter edition ] with her partner, after a highly dramatic season full of both... wicked betrayals and widely memed moments. they both coupled up and uncoupled a few times with other islanders, before they became a fan favorite pair about... midway through the show. definitely had a 'sex outside of the hideaway' scandal. definitely talked at length about how the other was the 'ONE', for them. when they were announced the winners, one of them proposed live on air and they seemed set to be the next it couple born from the reality tv show. they did some joint interviews, they were pictured together all of the time, their social medias were absolutely FULL of one another... and then, just after it was announced in a gossip mag that lottie was set to do celebrity say yes to the dress [ and yes, probably don't tell the bride ], they announced their split and broke hearts all over the world. don't confuse this with the level of emotionally charged connect we are all used to. i think it could be really fun ! very diff ! lots of headcanon possibility and lots of drama openings ! but definitely... so funny. ideas for parents wld be... emma frost & namor, patricia walker, bruce wayne, ryoko sabuki, janet van dyne & hank pym, tony stark & pepper potts, t'challa, shuri... anyone p influential / rich tbh! )

Groupie 101 - Backstage
I get asked questions on a daily basis. Some questions I get asked more than others. This blog has changed from me writing my experiences to giving you aspiring groupies help! I want to give you what you want. The most requested was what to wear – see Groupie 101 – The Look. As I started as I meant to go on it’s time to address the second thing I get questions about almost on a daily basis. Now you have the groupie look it’s time to actually get in and backstage. This sounds a lot easier than it is, or a lot harder. Which one honestly depends on your mood and how long you have spent getting ready.
I know all of the tips and tricks to get backstage and I’m going to share them with you. What makes me qualified? I have hardly paid entry into a gig for five years. In this I want to talk about actual gigs. Festivals are very hard to get into without connections because of how tight security is and at most festivals Access All Areas is non-existent. As I said before gigs are where most girls get into the scene and the easiest way to make a name for yourself.
In my experience there are a handful of ways you can get backstage. Some of them involve you paying entry and some of them you can get in for free. These are all tried and tested, but by no means the only ways. I know a band who for a while would pin point a girl in the crowd and throw their drink on her to let the roadies know she was coming backstage. That happens a lot – pinpointing girls, not throwing drinks on them. These are however the main ways I have seen pulled off or have done myself, actually I’ve done them all besides two.
The prep method
This one is fairly easy to understand but a whole lot more difficult with bigger bands. But if you’re one for micro-managing everything then it may be an option. The concept of this is doing the prep. You work hard before which can end with you getting either All Access or guest listed. Bare in mind those two aren’t the same thing despite popular belief. Getting All Access means you get given a fancy pass that lets you come and go as you please assuming you don’t lose your sticker or laminate. You can wonder backstage and out on the floor. But when you have been guest listed you have your name down on the list and get free entry. This doesn’t always mean you get backstage, although they know who you are so it’s a start.
In practice it is a lot easier to do now. When I started the only social media most people used myspace, occasionally Facebook but we weren’t as good at finding musicians profiles as we are now. Besides those angles totally throw you off. I prefer organic meetings, over message I can come across badly especially to Americans. Sarcasm is my talent and Americans in my experience either find it endearing or become offended. There’s no in between. It’s unlikely when you start you will be able to get their number. Some musicians are more known for using certain social media sites. Someone I’m seeing right now is only just getting into Instagram, Facebook has been his favourite for years. The first step is to ask around, see if you can find out which site they use the most. Then you’ll want to make sure you’re happy with your profile. Remember your icon is the first thing they’ll see! A younger more famous band I know will decline or accept girls purely on their icon, they won’t even read the message. Once your profile is good it’s time to message them. The best bet is direct message and liking some photos. They’ll keep seeing your name and get curious to know what you’re all about. Do a little research. Don’t open with ‘I love your band, can I come backstage’. They’ll label you as a crazed fan which is not what you are. You’re a fan but you’re a groupie. Say hello and talk about somewhere they’ve recently been or something they’re passionate about. Certain musicians love to talk about their music and themselves, just not right away. Start a conversation first. Then finally when you have some flow you can mention your city. If they’re into it whether or not they have sex or something more platonic in mind they may offer to guest list or AAA you. If they don’t remember you can ‘bump’ into them later, they now know who you are.
Prep is popular. A lot of the younger girls are very good at it, they can find anyone and talk their way in. There’s no script, you have to judge it and then bring up different things for different people. The situation is flipped if you’ve already hooked up or met your musician. If you’ve hooked up they might have your number saved. If they want to hook up again then you’ll probably get a ‘hey babe’ text. But don’t be scared to text them saying you haven’t spoken to them for a while. Remember though, don’t send nudes. If you do I guarantee the rest of the band, the crew and other girls have seen it. I’ve seen so many boobs its unreal. I say I haven’t done this before but even though it isn’t my style I do partake. There was a festival I was lusting after and I shot someone a text asking if he’d definitely put me on the list to get my pass. Bands travel so much they often forget what they’ve actually promised. Often they don’t want to admit they’d forgotten so say yes and then sort it. This works if you’ve only briefly met them or if you haven’t but can message them pretending. ‘I can’t wait to see you again. I haven’t seen you since your gig in X when you played with Z’. Usually works if you can pull it off.
The charm method
This one I love and I became good at through the years. There’s minimal prep involved and some of the tips from above can roll over. This involves being very charming or flirty, whichever you prefer. For this one you can either arrive early and try to catch one of the band or crew. You can be your charming self and score a pass. Or you can pay entry and then look out for one of the crew. The band will usually be backstage to ready themselves or will be partying. The roadies might be on the floor as will the tour manager. The merch is always good. Stand by the merch table and talk to keep them company when they’re bored. Learn their names and what they’re into if you can. It’s all about being interested in them. People say good personalities don’t get you backstage. But in my experience a good personality is everything. Be funny, sweet and show them you want to have a good time. Let that passion for the music and the scene shine in your beautiful eyes. When they offer you a pass say thank you and don’t let them know they’ve just given you the world. It’ll be our secret.
I said some things roll over, these are those things. You can blag your way backstage. Research is your best friend, this kind of prep I don’t mind. Find the tour manager if you can. Walk over to him and hug him. Call him by his name and tell him how good it is to see him. You haven’t seen him since X. Are they still backstage? Great! Walk back there. Maybe they’ll give you a pass or maybe they’ll wave you through. Do you know how much a tour manager has on their mind? They’ve probably met hundreds that week. They won’t remember you, but they might be too embarrassed to tell you that! To get backstage you need balls. I’ve done this a ton, trust me if you do it right you’re laughing.
The sister method
This is a method you won’t be able to do right away. You need to know some of the girls. As much as the girls are often bickering and put against each other once you find your little clique you will stick together. There’s always drama in the scene. Usually it’s because someone talked about someone or they stole someone’s man. Very trivial and high school. When you know some of the girls you’ll find they think of you. Talk to them all the time and become close friends. Then when they end up at sound check they’ll grab you a pass. But remember to do the same for them. Get them in places you land into. It’s called the sister method for a reason! Look after your own! We often travel together. This is probably the method which I have seen the most. It is a little more advanced though and if you’re not in the scene might be impossible. But wait around after gigs and try to make connections.
Despite this title it doesn’t have to be just the girls. Security can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Make sure you talk to them and take time to get to know them. How they respond can depend on where in the world you are. I found Europe security a little rude. But if you get to know them very well they may let you in, they may even let you backstage. The latter only usually happens though after years of seeing you misbehaving yourself.
The sneak back method
This one is another tried and tested. I have written about this in one of my first ever posts. I said getting backstage takes balls and god this is the most ballsy method. Before I explain remember the worst that can happen is you get kicked out. They can’t call the police for sneaking backstage – at least not where I am. There are a few ways you can sneak back. You can wait until there are large crowds or someone makes a scene. This will distract security and allow you chance to slip back. This is something you can do no matter the band. Although if the venue is huge there will be more security and it’ll be harder. Due to terrorist attacks security has got tighter here. Watch security, wait until they’re occupied. Then take your chance, you may only get one. If the venue is smaller you may have a slightly better chance.
The other option is to play the long game. I have only ever seen this done successfully that didn’t end with someone being kicked out a handful of times. It’s difficult and I’ve never done it to a venue bigger than a shoebox. You show up and the venue early and sneak in. You can pretend to work there or just climb through a window, I’ve seen both done. I was backstage once and went to the toilet to find a girl hiding in there. She had climbed through a window and been there ever since. I was so impressed I vouched for her. Again, impossible at large venues and a method I semi don’t recommend.
The band whore method
This last one I was at a loss at what exactly to call. It is a method I have never done although nothing against those that have. It isn’t something band whores do exactly, but there was no other way to politely say suck off the crew. It is something which I have seen work time and again. You pick your best bet and then you perform your heart out. After you’ve put in the work if you don’t get a backstage pass I would be very upset. Building a reputation doing that will often get you on the list but you have to decide if you want that kind of reputation. I never did. I’m not a snob but I was there for the music. I still am. I eat, sleep and breathe the music. I didn’t want to suck off the merch guy and then kiss the drummer with the same mouth. But if you want to then go and do what you want to do! Just remember it’s very easy to get a reputation but very hard to lose one. I’m not talking about just happening to hook up with the roadies either. As I said, I’m not a snob. The crew work themselves to the bone without their face on a t-shirt. I’m talking about using them as a stepping stone. But whatever you feel compelled to do!
Now this isn’t a method as such. But it is something I want to go over before I answer a few questions. I say a lot things are different now and boys are a lot more careful. A lot of girls want to get into the scene but are fairly young, or at least younger than what is defined as legal in your country or state. Allegations have got people into some bad situations within the last few years. Tour managers are protective of their band and are almost like dads. I’ve mentioned they often ask for ID and I think some people have gotten the wrong idea. They don’t always ask for ID to get backstage. They ask for ID if you look underage and are going to sleep with the band. They do it to protect their band, sex with an underage girl is bad for business. But if they want you to party before bus call they may or may not ask for ID. It’s best to come prepared. I’m not condoning underage sex at all. Wait, please. They’re not always what you think they will be. Besides if you’re under 18 and they’re old enough to be your dad it’s probably a bad idea. Same goes for can an hour together send him to jail? Probably not the brightest of ideas.
Q&A
What happens if I get caught sneaking backstage?
The majority of the time you’ll be told off and given a warning. But you may get kicked out. I’ve never heard of anyone being arrested – I’m not sure what they would even charge you with!
Have you ever been kicked out?
More times than I care to admit! Not for a few years though. But you can’t let that stop you. The music is everything remember.
Should I get a fake ID?
That’s up to you! Why are you getting one? If it’s to get in venues then go for it but if it’s to hook up and cause jail time after you’ve put it on social media hold off. A few years won’t hurt.
Will they accept a student ID?
That depends on what it is. If its school ID possibly not, they may see school and then reject it right away. Is it a University ID? Then you’ll be at least over 18 and it should be fine! However it depends on where you live and the security/tour manager. Message me with your country/state for more details!
What message do I send to X?
I’m not sure! Send me some details about them and what platform you’re reaching out on and I’ll help the best I can.
Anymore questions or things I have left out or not been specific enough? Message me and I’ll be happy to answer! – K

The personal history of The Puppet Master.
Chapter I, Hello my name is
This is a fictitious personal story, everything about me is fictitious or nearly so, somewhere down the line I have lost myself in the list of my fictional identities. I mean I could lead a normal life, like anyone else, but am not anyone else, am not anyone I know.
I am a hacker and an assassin with the government, also a political engineer, a social engineer, I hold degrees in computing, psychology and anthropology and the list of my fictive identities peaked at 2000 at some point. I am not who you know and there are chances that you will never know who I am.
The kind of people that don’t exist. Even though I do exist, and this is my story.
All I know is you. I know you from other people, unlike common assassins I do not only assassinate people, I delete them, from nearly existing records including online databases and search engines. I do so because they are a threat to national security or interests of Japan, often overlapping with those of other nations.
Also not your common assassin in the sense that I am responsible for more than 6000 assassinations both direct and indirect. Which means that I pay money for murder. A lot of it.
My legal responsibilities, none I am entitled to killing you by the government, actually by several.
Do I know the precise number of my assumed identities and murders, no I go through brainwashing every year. Chances are I will never remember having met you or who did I kill last year. I have become amnesic I know that much, it’s a faculty that I use to discard anything that is not relevant to my mission.
Have you ever heard the movie line “If I tell you I have to kill you”? It’s true for me I have to kill you if I tell you who I am. And I told some people, a lot of people, and I killed them.
A lot of things that I might tell you or write to you on that email come from movie scripts, b series mostly. Even revealing my speech syntax is going too far, I make spelling errors, syntax errors, I speak Jamaican Patois. And I write presidential speeches in my spare time.
What you would call a genius or a useful idiot. I have a 100M USD limit on my credit card and stay in places where you need that kind of credit cards to stay which are not too many. So chances of knowing me are slim, its only a few people that do. And not from the call center room where I learned both to know people and to manipulate them.
I started taking call in a foreign intelligence institute where I was raised with other high capability orphan kids. Taking calls was a way to communicate with the outside, we didn’t go out and never seen other faces.
I kept taking calls and serviced maybe 110 000 calls over a period of 20 years. I take calls from home to keep busy, I do tech support for Microsoft, commercial support for Ebay, shipping with Fedex, I do customer support for Amazon, and engineering support with Oracle and SUN Microsystems.
I do read your mails and browse your digital albums and I am not telling. You have to understand that I am not obliged to tell, legally I don’t exist. Out of convenience.
Maybe you think that I am American as well, I do have a long list of American identities and maybe am also a CIA agent. To which we are going to add Section 9 with the Foreign Ministry of Japan, MI6 fond of that, am also a member of the South African intelligence services how strange is that.
It’s very thin what you have so far and we are going to keep it that way. I am actually imitating the style of a native American writer, I can do so with over a dozen different languages.
If you would excuse me, I am going to the roof to enjoy the fresh night and listen to G-Dragon, you know G-DRAGON fond of that. It’s nice to see that your mind is distracted by an internationally know star and you’re even imaging it, I could have killed you twice before you read this. Distractions are no good in the line of business we’re in. If you do not stay focused on me am wasting you, anything is a context, everywhere is a setting, those are not pedestrians walking by you they are agents, and you’re dying in that street.
Lets go back to basics my significant other, inasmuch as you rise up to your potential to change lives and the world indeed. This is redacted on notepad as it should and if you do not know the hacker manifesto by The Mentor then you should read it. And if you know it you should learn it by heart because we are all here to hack life. Life is waiting to be hacked into the greater thing, and its up to you. If you know how.

                         +++The Mentor+++
                    Written on January 8, 1986 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Another one got caught today, it’s all over the papers.  "Teenager Arrested in Computer Crime Scandal", “Hacker Arrested after Bank Tampering”…   Damn kids.  They’re all alike.
But did you, in your three-piece psychology and 1950’s technobrain, ever take a look behind the eyes of the hacker?  Did you ever wonder what made him tick, what forces shaped him, what may have molded him?   I am a hacker, enter my world…   Mine is a world that begins with school… I’m smarter than most of the other kids, this crap they teach us bores me…   Damn underachiever.  They’re all alike.
I’m in junior high or high school.  I’ve listened to teachers explain for the fifteenth time how to reduce a fraction.  I understand it.  "No, Ms. Smith, I didn’t show my work.  I did it in my head…“   Damn kid.  Probably copied it.  They’re all alike.
I made a discovery today.  I found a computer.  Wait a second, this is cool.  It does what I want it to.  If it makes a mistake, it’s because I screwed it up.  Not because it doesn’t like me…           Or feels threatened by me…           Or thinks I’m a smart ass…           Or doesn’t like teaching and shouldn’t be here…   Damn kid.  All he does is play games.  They’re all alike.
And then it happened… a door opened to a world… rushing through the phone line like heroin through an addict’s veins, an electronic pulse is sent out, a refuge from the day-to-day incompetencies is sought… a board is found.   "This is it… this is where I belong…”   I know everyone here… even if I’ve never met them, never talked to them, may never hear from them again… I know you all…   Damn kid.  Tying up the phone line again.  They’re all alike…
You bet your ass we’re all alike… we’ve been spoon-fed baby food at school when we hungered for steak… the bits of meat that you did let slip through were pre-chewed and tasteless.  We’ve been dominated by sadists, or ignored by the apathetic.  The few that had something to teach found us will- ing pupils, but those few are like drops of water in the desert.
This is our world now… the world of the electron and the switch, the beauty of the baud.  We make use of a service already existing without paying for what could be dirt-cheap if it wasn’t run by profiteering gluttons, and you call us criminals.  We explore… and you call us criminals.  We seek after knowledge… and you call us criminals.  We exist without skin color, without nationality, without religious bias… and you call us criminals. You build atomic bombs, you wage wars, you murder, cheat, and lie to us and try to make us believe it’s for our own good, yet we’re the criminals.
Yes, I am a criminal.  My crime is that of curiosity.  My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive me for.
I am a hacker, and this is my manifesto.  You may stop this individual, but you can’t stop us all… after all, we’re all alike.
                         +++The Mentor+++
Unlike The Mentor, I do judge people on their appearances, but murder wise I am color blind. I kill anything that is designated as a target by the Nakashimura Corporation. Its 246 irrelevant results on Google and we don’t exist. I am also an arms trader. I do that too in a variety of currencies, see that intelligence money has to come from somewhere preferably other than the pockets of the tax payer. So I convinced different security and intelligence agencies to invest in armaments which they did, and we ended holding several arms concerns which put together are Nakashima Corporation.
FSB yes I sell arms for Russia. China as well, North Korea, Japan, Czech Republic, Brazil, Mexico, the US everyone if its a weapon and its good am selling. Where my role and others at Nakashimura Corporation is to convince everyone that just because they have nice weapons they don’t have to use them every time. And we take care of trouble and troublemakers for dozens of governments. We kill them I mean.
Law enforcement still can’t pin a thing me with all this, am just a voice over the net practicing creative writing which translates somehow into reality and it’s called hacking. All of my stuff is impossible to prove, I rig it as such otherwise I wouldn’t be in this game for so long. I have dozens upon dozens of different passports, I enter and I exit with different passports on a daily basis sometimes, I fly different jets, you have better chances of winning at the lottery twice in the same day than finding me.
It’s my job to find you however. Not you you but you never know could be you. In this intelligence services you need that global perspective it’s the only one that works. And the people is always right, it’s people that are wrong, and they die because of that.
There’s levels in intelligence and government where being wrong gets you killed, terminated with extreme prejudice. Its what we’re talking about here and few have ventured talking about this in active duty. Am on active duty will remain so until I am biologically deceased, I cannot retire because of my agreements with several governments who bailed in Nakashimura because of the guarantee that I represent.
See you can’t say sorry when you’re rotten sorry won’t work for rotten. I cleaned rotten all my life. If its rotten it’s got to go no matter who it is because that person or group of persons constitutes a clear and present danger to the security and safety of all. And we’re talking the whole planet here, so fuck you if you’re wrong you cannot be wrong with the lives of billions around the globe.
Governments through their various agencies are responsible for more than you know, not only for your safety but also those of visiting non nationals. You’re also responsible for your neighboring states security in the case of China, the U.S, etc, etc, . And in the midst of that you have people behind wheels that if they fail the government is gonna bail out of them for good.
It is an equation where individuals are weighted upon the scale of national and global interests. They exist and there are people that represent them. Who will kill you to protect them and do so legally under the authorities, can be several, that they represent.
In that equation you’re of a moderate value if you would pardon me, there are other smarter more intelligent more gifted younger richer more popular more influential more everything better looking fitter taller everything more than you elsewhere. So replacing you will not be an issue, the question is how to dispose of you. Because incompetence at that level has a hefty cost, people want you deceased now.
Remember those people that helped put you there? They want you dead now because you look bad on them. They have burned you at the intelligence agency where you work because they can do that, place a couple of calls to have you wiped out. They have been running that business for longer, they contrary to you are not public figures never will be. And people owe them around the globe, altogether they constitute the intelligence community, the shadow government that you keep on hearing about, it exists and its global and hidden from sight.
In this introduction we should mention that I am also a  surgeon did work on emergencies as a trauma medic on week ends, seen plenty of trauma, I am simply myself unaffected and trying to find a solution like any high ranking Japanese official would. I am pretty dispassionate in person even though I can appear charming.
The subject is still young, in good physical condition. And because of his high profile you cannot really just snipe him at a street corner, which I do I am a sniper, I dispose and operate sniping robots maybe we’ll get back to it. So the question is how do you make him go.
And the answer can be found by matching his profile to common fatality cause statistics and finding something that matches. If he is a sportive he might as well die from complications in his routine appendicitis operation. It happens, it’s a statistic and it’s all you need because it is a fact of life. People around you have heard of it, and if not than its people they know, still young died on appendicitis operation complications. It marks people, I call them plastic deaths.
Basing your action on sound stats it’s a lot of work those stats and remaining in the know fatality causes, people are not going to stop dying because they are important or famous. And the cause of their death is going to be spread along these statistics that you have to study.
People are also unsuspecting how easy it is to die, we’re slightly more resistant than bugs. We don’t think of it all the time. Sometimes 2mg of something is all it takes. We’re both very resilient and very fragile and diverse, it’s the work of the Creator, he created us saying nowhere that we’re entitled to a 100 years. Turtles live longer. Some stuff lives almost crazy time I don’t remember what it was. Trees it was some 2000 years.
So the message is do something useful with your life and your time, nobody is eternal and we have a role to play here each of us, and you have to find yours. I am maybe different in the sense that I play many different roles. And that unlike actors these are real life roles, and real lives.
Pilot with Air Canada for a while, allowed me to operate on both the North American and European continents before I bailed. It was being found out that I had eliminated an extensive list of people who had to go for different reasons. It’s not law enforcement that I fear, it’s getting caught on a murder scene like a dummy. And that is why I use robots, and cyborgs. I also hack into cybernetics government, intelligence, diplomacy, and turn them into killers.
A cyborg can lift 6 small cars, if he’s close enough he can kill a person in no time. Call it a malfunction. It’s what the data dump is going to say and its some corporation that is going to underline the paragraph where they say that they are not liable for bodily injury. We live in a world of different hazards of which I make use. I kill with a curare needle that I hide in my hair or sleeve when its personal, or bounce you offside of a busy HSW, high speed highway in your self driving car. In the lane operated by large trucks.
I dislike the amiability of physical contact I like to think of my profession as non physical contact based virtual even, I am more likely to open someones jugular with a Tanto as I pass by, more often than not a complete stranger to my victims. They had never seen me and they will never seen anything again. I use that to my advantage, very few can pin a face to the name, what people have is my nick which is a world in itself if you dig into it. That cyborg that you have in custody now has gotten reset during police transport. As for my identity it is a government different governments top secret, the kind that gets people killed if they find it out.
What I did through all of GITS is saving Aramaki and Kusanagi from getting killed. People were going to fly from different parts of the world and in Japan to kill them and all of Section 6 for violating the Alpha Protocol.  A protocol that states that any member state shall not single single-handedly interfere in any shape or manner in the activities of the Nakashimura Corporation. The corporation that don’t exist and of which I am the CEO and the sitting Minister of both Interior and Foreign Affairs of Japan, not the acting one.
Aramaki wanted me brought in on charges of terrorism relating to the bombing of Panam Air Flight 233 that was carrying a high value target and his staff engaging in currency manipulations of the Yen. Which I did on government orders, I hereby decline any responsibility in that matter.
The helicopter drones that killed the people at the Austrian Foreign Ministry malfunctioned, their function was to guard that meeting not shoot at it I agree completely also not guilty it so happens that I have shares in the corporation that makes them so what. A restaurant full of politicians who didn’t like me much blew up, the documents say a gas leak in the basement, still its me law enforcement is looking at. Listen all I do is to save my skin, I have a licence to kill by the government and I use it.
It is not for you to decide how you are going to die if the government wants you killed. Especially if you work for it as an expendable asset, which all are in the government. Governments are big monsters that eat you raw when you screw up because its too much people to convince that you’re right when you’re wrong.
There was a couple of Yachts, more than a couple, I bomb Yachts pretend its a gas leak. The list of my operations is dizzying and global, so how are people going to die who have to die Mr Aramaki?
You want to feed me to coppers Mr Aramaki because basically you’re a cop and I am just doing my duty same as you so how are the two of us going to get along not well. So you retire, and he did.
Kusanagi boy did she like me and still does lovable but flawed an intelligence profile working in law enforcement. 2501 is part of me always was always will, it is an artificial intelligence which I developed, I actually coded modules and put them in free source, building blocks.
Did a lot of custom stuff on 2501 to be a fix for Kusanagi, I patched the pretty girl with some common sense. That not everything is for law enforcement or fit for public knowledge to run things smoothly. We’re still OK she understands me better and we see where we’re going with this.
I am sorry you didn’t see much of me in GITS, just that visit at the Foreign Affairs Minister’s Residence. I am also coding as the cyborg. What was I coding there it’s a long time already. I was probably stealing something, such as the source code of that pretty secretary and the secrets she knew. She was from the U.S and working at the State Department, at South East Asian Affairs. Maybe I wanted to know what she knew from her boss.
She had a peculiar manner of shaking peoples hands, she threw them to the side. I don’t know why I shook her hand, I tend to avoid body contact or looking at people that am not looking for in the eye. Am a fugitive and a thief, an assassin you know I don’t want you to remember any of me.
She was found on a busy Tokyo highway with half her body missing, identifying her as diplomatic personnel she was taken to Section 9, with her secrets. That I stole.
My kind people we need a higher perspective when approaching GITS, I kill people in tens upon tens of different countries I kill people on their vacations, am I going to tens of different jails, because Aramaki wanted to pin on me all of Nakashimura. Nakashimura’s board is composed of about 20 different intelligence agencies bosses. Are we going to tens of jails or to the ICC altogether? For what for keeping the place out of trouble?
What is it now we have to put it on paper? The government pays people to kill you if needed, if you become a threat to itself and others. Myself included am paid for that. I own shares in Nakashimura I have a separation package and a retirement bonus my living is there, do you understand my living.
There move to the side a little bit please, see you did its called being polite and I just popped the guy behind you twice at waist high, he’s not making to the hospital because my bullets are tainted. And now am going to butt you with my suppressed 6.35 mm so that you lose consciousness after catching a glimpse of maybe my profile is all. I don’t need big bullets in closed spaces and started using smaller and smaller ammo.
I am going to bed now and we will resume this latter, tell you how important the work that we’re doing is. To keep normalcy in people’s lives, to shelter them from harm.
So let us go back to that important business of keeping everyone safe, which is entrusted to security and intelligence agencies both public and secret. We have seen how these people are not only responsible for their nationals, indeed we are entitled to their protection wherever we come from. And on top of that they have to see to the safety of their citizens abroad.
And in that context you have people who are helpful and others who are not, where the real work is to weed out the problem makers that arise with each generation of different individuals, mostly politicians. Populists who think that a majority vote is a blank check to put global security at risk by pursuing agendas which are not everyone’s. There’s a war of agendas out there and personal vendettas that you have to navigate, and navigate it closely.
The other thing is organizations groups and individuals who constitute a threat to global security, activists, terrorists, armed groups, criminal gangs. Because our operations entail that global responsibility and each country should not be a harbor for undue terror and crime. There are ways around indiscriminate killings and terror to solve problems.
It’s not awkward I am saying this even if Aramaki wanted me brought in on terrorism charges, my objectives amounted for nearly all of them to be honest. I went to that restaurant where even the waiter was with them. The press was there all day long feeding on gossip from those scumbags that wanted me dead in their emails and phone conversations which I tapped. The controlled explosion looked like a gas leak 98% of the targets gone. It was, still is a military operation in my eyes.
I killed the 2% left with a cyanide injection in their hospital after that, am used to 100% completion of my tasks. They pay me for being ruthless and am good at it.
I take physical risks, everyday, and risk life behind bars if my legal cover is blown because of you, for your security. Because attempting to my life is a direct attack on both your safety and freedoms my friends. Your freedom of assembly, speech, your rights to pursue happiness away from dangers you might even not suspect I guarantee that my friend, and we’re a few. It’s a whole community which does not seek fame or recognition, rather to be as anonymous as possible to detect and neutralize threats to your daily existence on this planet.
It’s called the intelligence community and it is a well organized well structured efficient community that knows each others from special forces and the army or the navy and air force and training together at various intelligence agencies. Its friendships after that which last a lifetime. You only don’t respect those people because you do not belong there, they know and respect each others as professionals do.
Many come from the corporate world, many are also hackers and computing and telecom engineers, lots of coders as well, intelligence specialists that can decipher encrypted communications because although people are told that they are encrypted for good that is not correct and is a lie. There are no such things as secure telecoms.
People do not dislike scrutiny, they dislike undue scrutiny and they are perfectly right about that. They are relevant to an era called Windows 10, and what they don’t want out of lack of perspective is a future in which an AI is counting your teeth in front of your computer.
The future that nobody can save us from, that’s already there you’re running the finest collection of spyware that we have with Windows 10 everything spies on you there for both the CIA and the NSA as entitled by the Homeland Security Act. Which your representative voted for and that allows for monitoring information highways and wiretapping. I don’t think they even need an injunction for that.
ECHELON listens to your phone conversations globally, for keywords such as bomb and so forth. Its a lot of money shifting through your data and online life or just life in general including what you buy where you go who you know, known illnesses, see that personality test they have you fill on a job interview different governments are doing that on a massive scale with social media and even before that, profiling is a basic function of intelligence services.
This business of taking care of you requires massive amounts of cash, whole datacenters. So going into armaments with Nakashimura was the right thing to do, Nakashimura is one of the first datacenter operators in the world aside from its armaments concern. We have massive datacenters with your data in it and we’re not telling. As expressed by our mandate to protect you, we have to know what people bent on endangering others security are doing.
Extortion and rackets are a threat to any state because they constitute a important source of cash flow which nobody knows where that money is going. And the rule of the game is knowing where money goes.
Are we passing on the information? We are pooling the information, 9/11 changed everything, and global transportation, telecoms and financial or banking infrastructure became a concern to all. With the goal of identifying the threats to our collective security. The ability to board a plane and cross the Atlantic to commit a terrorist act and the ease with which it was carried through made us understand that we do need to bridge the gaps with more cooperation to keep the world an open an safe place for all and not a collection of ghettos. More cooperation was not an option it was the only solution. Anywhere in the world is a couple of hours by plane.
Our problems are not with each others, they are with those that are a threat to all of us.
And I became a star like that in intelligence services, oh what a star I was surveyed constantly and had to change residence every week because groupie agents from different services wanted to meet me by any means.Young, rich, good looking, and with a bright future, also on top of my game have been for an awful long time people who don’t like me around the world bounced, I made them so, some personally. My Muppet shows because I make them only fed into the frenzy.
I am a puppeteer have been since childhood. I make shows for my friends and also live TV shows where I animate different puppets. Of course I am not visible, its my only claim to fame, I can’t show you my face but I can show you my Muppets.
I did pursue a short career as a professional punk rock artist with a punk rock group. We visited several small clubs here and there. Where the goal was not getting famous or known. Tokyo, New York, Stockholm, Mexico D.F, we went to plenty of places, we made good money the band should have been a success and it was. It’s just the big name thing that didn’t go with it, indeed am proud to say that all five of us we’re have been always will be true punk rock artists. To the letter, we could have become big at the switch of a button.
We had the fan love and everything was okay, even if people were not allowed to bring in cameras or smartphones inside. We met them backstage like true rock stars. We enjoyed the moment. And its some of the best years that I remember. Became a rock star at several large corporations, I am also a member of the boards of different multinationals of which Sony, Kyocera and Mitsubishi Corporation, GM. Plus the banks. Its a few hours a every couple of months, sets the agenda for what we want to do.
Am grey haired now I have lived and continue to live a full life. And I hope that is the same for you, where the possibilities are limited only by your imagination and and capacity at achieving things and being who you want to be. In life we play different roles after that its maybe something in you that makes you discover that there are many useful roles that you can play in life.
And you work to achieve that as well, surgeon is a very important experience, it teaches about human suffering so that you do not take it lightly. Trauma surgeons have the capacity not to bail or faint in front of what they see to keep cool at all times to be focused on saving a life, I wanted to acquire that capacity which was not easy, hey nothing in life is.
Chapter II, Fedex Yakuza
Biking is a big part of it, and I did use superbikes to commit driveby shootings, of targets and their security in HSW systems around the world. Its a long string of them from Tokyo to New York and Mexico. Paris, Place de l’Etoile. And then I disappear by magic like in the movies no, I am an intelligence services member, my escape is already planned with a diplomatic car waiting for me a couple of blocs away. And the bike is going as well I never leave anything behind.
I use subcompacts with high velocity bullets that are Teflon coated. If its not a heavy armored glass that you have you are dying. Everyone in that car is, we’re clocking 320km per hour on a smooth ride where the nearest exit for you is death. And where bullets are going to fly through your car literally so. Your driver you, your important guest everyone is a goner. And if you’re not dead already that crash will finish you off because am leaving you without wheels.
That security which you have been taken care of as well, rounds of explosive bullets did it for them. It’s a military operation with things that are not commercially available such as explosive rounds, depleted uranium bullets, titanium tip bullets and ceramic bullets. I am also a member of different special forces and I make my own gear, which is either or metal or kevlar.
I was of course labelled a Yakuza, and I used to do delivery work for Fedex, am not saying it was a Fedex bike. Maybe it was. Anyways so Fedex Yakuza was very gratifying and revolved around hacking both Fedex and several HSW and police networks around the globe. I had them shut down traffic where I wanted and divert it to where I wanted. Usually close to an airport.
Nitro, Fedex Yakuza, Tokyo Babe, they had me leave my lifestyle that I wanted. Because of the attention. Am also your banker, used to work at Chase in New York and I had a bike, bikes are very convenient in large cities. The rest of it is armored convoys with military grade armor and helicopters to survey the area. Gunships that is correct. Am no different than the President, if anything I have more responsibilities than he has, he probably answers to his government whereas I answer to several. People think its him and am glad for that.
I stayed in Tokyo often, I feel more anonymous because its a large city I was stuck with the drifting scene, nobody knew what I was doing. My cover was courier for Fedex. Tokyo Babe is because some girlfriends. Still girlfriends.
So yes the drifting scene you can make some money there on your day offs if you’re not exhausted from work, serious money too and contacts, who mostly Yakuzas. Have you ever met Yakuza bosses, Oyabun? They’re impressive I met them soon enough, although branded by my Yakuza friends as a disloyal racer I always paid people their cash, even bailed some of them from losses. The thing was not losing too often and I had a business several Oyabun wanted to know about.
They said that I was a smart young man, and that they both wanted to give me different things to run, because trustworthiness is rare and they were sure that I would never steal anything from them. And they smiled they said they knew about all of the rest and that I could count on them as well.
Two weeks later I was received by the Emperor of Japan, I was 24.
But before that we need to go back to the world of drifting in Tokyo, and the city itself. It’s very lively to say the least and you meet everybody there. The city is extensively large Neo Tokyo is, at least 2 times the size of Tokyo in the 2020's. Its ruled by the almighty HSW, which incorporates high speed rail as well.
And its a young crowd, rich parents or having things going on for them, they’re into biking big time, they train for it. And they race, that is the part that is both fun and illegal. Very lucrative however, I had succeeded in assembling a small team of racers. And we did some serious cash. Its not only bikes its also cars.
***
Where were we I am back to writing this, my aversion for getting caught also made me averse of physical contact. I dislike shaking hands or hugging or anything getting in my comfort zone. If you can touch me you may as well put me in jail. I have bodyguards and people have been routinely placated to walls and grounds. No physical contact is something I am fond of, its a costly security that won’t care how famous you are.
Contrary to most famous people my only claim to fame is in the punk rock scene where one of the stated goals is not to become famous. The rest of it a lot of board meetings at different multinationals, and meetings in general in places where few people other than senior intelligence officers have business. And I am keeping it that way, notoriety can do nothing for me, I am already famous for plenty of reasons, not all legal. I am the side of law enforcement that is frowned upon.
I play the identity game, I forge the identities that I have use for, that allow me to blend in with normal life. As just about anyone else. Normalcy is important to me, and when I see it go away am in a plane in no time. I avoid attention and trouble like the plague.
Do I meet people, I meet plenty of people, but not by chance as anyone would. I carefully know about them beforehand and why we are meeting. If we’re having fun its probably at some event that I set up where I am going to blend in as a guest, some corporate event or corporate sponsored event. I can’t go to public events, that are for the public. My world exists outside of public scrutiny.
I can also stay home for weeks at a time, mostly remote mansions, the kind of remote that makes people think. Or we want to go back to my resume maybe.
The Puppet Master That phantom hacker, right?
They think he’s an American.
Age, sex, personal history Everything about him is unknown.
Since last winter he’s been mainly active in the EC.
Internationally wanted on dozens of charges of.
stock manipulation, assassinations, spying, political engineering, special operations, cyberwarfare, spying for intelligence, conducting counter-intelligence including military and economical, weapon and weapon systems design, mercenary forces, sabotage, propaganda, counter-propaganda, counterfeiting, violation of cyber-brain privacy, regime change, hacking, ransom, racket, organized crime, commodities price manipulation, kidnapping, social engineering, phreaking, computer virus design, patent theft, intelligence tampering, proof tampering, fake indictments, financial theft, book tampering, property and intellectual property theft, blackmail
He’s ghost-hacked so many people to carry out his crimes he’s earned the code name “The Puppet Master.”
This is the first instance of him operating in this country.
The reason why I am writing this book is also to set the record straight about a very important matter. People just see that side to it, especially law enforcement as previously spearheaded by Aramaki. Me no, I am a government official, by many chances higher up than you even if you are willfully made to ignore it. It is not because you work for the government or even intelligence that we are telling you everything. And you can die for trying to discover my identity like what was going to happen to Aramaki and his whole section.
There are agreements to which different governments are party in order to be able to collaborate in intelligence services for the benefit of all. And these agreements entail that Nakashimura personnel is covered by a blanket of secrecy in order to ensure their protection. And there is a protocol in case that secrecy is breached because it jeopardizes people’s and operations safety, its called the Alpha Protocol. Ringing anyone high up at your government will not do anything for you except put you on some loonie watchlist.
It exists however and it is enforced. Also the people that you know that are high up, are sorry to say public figures. There are other more important faces the government is not showing to the press and its those that matter. Anyone would be a fool to think that something as important as a country is fully entitled to people who come and go with elections. I know, I was General at 28. Anyone of those Generals weights more than a freshly elected President.
So you have the army on top of everything else, the life that you are living is army R&R where you can have fun and even shoot some bullets but not too many. The minute you wake up to the fact that after that you have intelligence agencies and the police both national and Interpol. Those are guys that the army guys put on your back as civilians to keep the place ruly. If you are not wearing 4 stars you might as well not exist.
You will, always have been, always will be a civilian. And you enter politics where you might become expandable, nobody is telling you that the army will snipe you in the head if you piss them off. To them you are a civilian, and they hate civilians. Those Generals are the last ones who are going to tell a freshly elected President that they will kill him if needed, but look at them President, most of them already have plenty of civilian blood on their hands.
Armed coups happen in places where the President is not careful with the army, he does something stupid such as putting the country at risk. They will kill you because of that, they will kill anyone they don’t know from the army or services. And then they will pretend some wacko did it, organize new elections put someone else there for the press, to keep repeating government policies like a parrot and not make any trouble.
They will kill you for free even take the money from some black fund. Fuck you if you play them for dummies. Half those professional killers that are good at it come from the army or special forces. And you’re swimming in the middle of all that as a civilian, an elected civilian still a civilian, always will be a civilian, I seen scores of civilians go no matter how high up for putting the army in shit, scores of them.
Aside from being averse to physical contact I have also developed a fear of airstrikes, and that is why I am also a General at the FSB, attempting on my life in that manner is equivalent to declaring war on Russia. It’s not the same fears that you have they’re different a lot of things are different. I think that my agreement with them mentioned a nuclear grade retaliation against any party responsible.
I make weapons for Russia, as well as weapons systems, nuclear warheads, submarines, planes, so surely yes the retaliation would be a nuclear strike against who’s responsible. It’s good to be open about one’s fears, fears tell a lot about someone, and you can see how my life is different from yours. Maybe that is what go you interested in me.
Maybe go back to my time in Tokyo as a courier for Fedex and a street racer with some Yakuzas, its a world in itself and its a part that I can best complete while visiting Tokyo which is not now.
This exercise of writing a book and talking about me is something new, both are new. I never put anything personal on paper and I never wrote a whole book. I put some chapters there that we are going to work to fill to the best of my recollections, because I am also amnesic.
I was young at the time, freshly graduated from the academy at 22, I flew fighter jets, and had a PhD in applied physics. My thesis was on quantum computing. I wanted to do something in my life, biking most of all and that courrier job at Fedex was just perfect same as the street racing. Then some people at the government showed up with a list of targets, mostly users of HSW and visiting foreigners. They said that they had to go for the higher interest of Japan and that my job now was to use my intelligence skills to terminate them on HSW.
I did, I killed plenty of them, in fact all of them. And I became a Colonel with the secret services. People blamed Yakuzas for these assassinations, while many others have been simply cleaned up. They came and they took everything made it look like new. Was it a Fedex bike yes just maybe people and their security have been less suspecting because of that, Fedex and other courriers from DHL and UPS were a frequent sight on the HSW and that came with high velocity bikes that had semi cockpits.
The rest of it was high velocity drive by’s using titanium tip bullets and explosive rounds, mostly in tunnels. Traffic was then diverted while secret services crews cleaned the scene. Being VIP’s they were used to empty lanes. I do not know their functions or identities, they’re bygone trackers on my GPS and its better that way.
The clubbing scene was perfect, I mean I barely seen anyone except those institute kids until I was 18, then I studied a lot until 22. It’s not that I barely seen anyone its that I had lived pretty much like a hermit. So Tokyo was like a huge ongoing 24/7 event. And it can be when you’re into biking and racing, it’s two items that are big in Tokyo.
We ended up pushing the world that Akira fed us, and Neo Tokyo was no different in the sense that it was large and extensive. It was also much more policed than the apocalyptic world you see in Akira. The police turned a blind eye to races quite often. For the very reason that HSW was so big that it was impossible to stop all those races from taking place, there was races and racing teams in almost each district of Neo Tokyo.
I lay there in the murky underworld of the drifting scene of Toyko, on the scope of the police because of my Yakuza acquaintances, and secret services offered me a blank check to make millions of yens in between the cover for my racing business and the hit money. I became rich, had a loft with a private lift in Shibuya. Things were going too well, and then it became clear that I had to bail out because of all the attention.
I found out in the couple of years where I was learning the scene that the scene was also learning me, which is no good in my line of business because I am a also secret agent. Its a question of temperament as well I dislike being spied upon so I never put myself in that position, it is not a rumor I do fly stratospheric jets and pretty much nobody knows where they are going.
Chapter III, Help me am Amnesic
I puppetize people I do that, it’s not for nothing that they call me the Puppet Master, I puppetized Aramaki maybe he’s reading this, and I did it with style his only way out was a resignation letter and I forced him into that way out.
Its is a lot of invisible strings in what we do, call them duty or loyalty, friendships, debts, ambition, greed. Or simply being human where we have both needs expressed or not and cravings, there are things you can fail at such as being attentive. 99% of what I do is preparation and 1% of it is distracting you. Its seldom that people are 100% attentive and that margin can get them robbed of sensitive information, kidnapped because they are an intelligence asset or killed.
Of course we all expect certain outcomes from relationships. I am pretty frugal in that regard, I expect anonymity, I live in a world where it does no good to me to be known. You are more likely to meet me in cyberspace, or as a cyborg. Meeting me in person is difficult, its not any day soon that I am letting you know who I am. Or where I am staying, or what I do. All of that is classified.
I would like to go back to my resume and answer for different things which while I am amnesic I still know how different things are useful to me, my memory is selective I keep important things somewhere and flush the rest on a regular basis. We might differ in the sense that your memories can become faint or remote, while mine except for what I am keeping become non existent. Such as the specifics of operations, makes me very useful.
Stock manipulation, I manipulate stocks for different funds, competing corporations and governments. The targets are set to fail because they either have some competitive advantage that is too big for them or they are hurting someones interest or simply because of speculation. I can’t name these corporations there is surely a lot of them. They have in common that I made their stock go higher waiting for the bad news that were coming with the quarterly, or simply become worthless due to series of planned incidents, some with huge liabilities, mostly through hacking.
Assassinations, we have seen that part, I am a professional assassin like others are dentists or shrinks. Everyone is fully capable of killing under emotion, even if you are small physically you can still do it, pleading temporary insanity often works if you do not have a criminal record. Its killing without emotion that sets the professional assassin from plain murderers.
I do not know personally any of my targets, I used to when I got started in this business, I had to wipe my plate off people who knew me personally. I harbor no grief or anger against most of them, because emotions are not my business.
There is no comfort zone, a body is about to be impacted by a pair of two high velocity projectiles, called bullets, meant to kill not socialize. The body after that, is disposed off at the morgue in a bag that hopefully am not seeing pictured in a court of law. And chances are that I won’t even remember it in a couple of months. Maybe even sooner.
Political engineering, I do Oracle and Windows support late at night, I usually know of security holes beforehand and I am myself part of several it security groups, mostly watching for malware and viruses trends. To say that manipulating your election data will not be too much of an issue, electronic ballot boxes fancy unbreakable at the source and are careless where and how that data is later stored and so on and so forth. Social media allows for influencing people in a variety of ways on top of which you have plain fake news that are however going to make an impression before they are debunked. But actually my role starts much sooner, we have a commission that picks candidates and grooms them into political careers to implement our different agendas.
assassinations, spying, political engineering, special operations, cyberwarfare, spying for intelligence, conducting counter-intelligence including military and economical, weapon and weapon systems design, mercenary forces, sabotage, propaganda, counter-propaganda, counterfeiting, targeted terrorism, violation of cyber-brain privacy, regime change, hacking, ransom, racket, organized crime, commodities price manipulation, kidnapping, social engineering, phreaking, computer virus design, patent theft, intelligence tampering, proof tampering, fake indictments, financial theft, book tampering, property and intellectual property theft, blackmail

Part of my Script for the Podcast
Here is a fun game you can play since most people who love to read or listen to my stuff, read along the script to see how much I ad libbed and how much I read. Trolls wanted to act like school children so I am going to treat you like school children and we are going to play cornball games like this.
Podcast topics script
It feels weird doing this podcast, and even though I have felt motivated doing this podcast for almost a week now, it just feels like people who have surrounded themselves by me online and have felt they have been a part of my life, whether it is them just forcing themselves into my psyche, where I am going to always think about them after making every move, because they know that I know whatever I say or do, they will be on top of it, and because I barely relevant in the grand scheme of things to the masses, I assume they think that I am going to always want them around because they are the only ones even talking about me, whether it is underselling anything I do that is positive, or memorize anything I have said out of irrational anger or just trying to joke around, they now have me in a bind where I am always going to have to address and engage the fucked up shit going on, especially spreading disinformation and making up rumors. Since I have started this podcast it feels like they will now attack a lot more aggressively because I am restraining from letting them have this much direct contact with me.
It turns out the last episode was not even properly uploaded on Spotify or other podcast distributing sites, and I don’t even know how to fucking address it, was that done on purpose to show there is some censorship going on because people with power who might be close or far away are even shitting on any attempt for me to gain traction, and now they have found a way for me to have to be forced to get people’s help, or in my mentally ill brain, it will make me wonder if I am being fucked over by people claiming to be trustworthy, or someone powerful so the topic will always focus on the notorious trolls who have made a name the last year being really aggressive about the trolling and making sure I am living in fear, or does it direct the conversation back to Stern, because maybe in my head I am concocting this scenario where Howard will not let me get bigger, and will disencourage me from wanting to continue because they know it was a struggle just to start this basic podcasting shit, and now I am going to have to go learn how to fucking problem solve this distribution shit. It is fine, it is something else for you people to laugh at me about because even when I try to be creative and a little more productive, it becomes clear whether it is people in my life, my supposed fans or the powers that be don’t want me ever being on my own because they need me to be interactive with people who just want to remind me of every fucking insane thing I may have said or try to create rifts between me and others.
I don’t even think people who I have become friendly with seem happy that I have decided to do something for myself, which is the criticism I receive the most from people, so when I do something on my own, still not sure if I am doing this right, or whether I will remain compelling to carry this out, or just not being tech savvy enough, I have gotten a few “I am proud of you” but for the most part I think people are scared of me being unfiltered even though I have stated that most of the shit on this podcast are from my delusional thoughts, and they are my theories. It becomes difficult because I listen to so many podcasts that wrap up and analyze politics, hip hop, wrestling etc, where I have now taken that for granted because I have become reliant on people spotting the interesting observations and analyzing it so my shit is just a reaction to that. Can I talk about the Childish Gambino album? I can barely articulate how to explain the different styles and instruments being used, all i can analyze are lyrics, and even now I am taking in so much hip hop to catch up on weekly releases, I don't even get to go revisit it again. Only joke I had for the Gambino album was that if I list off my favorite tracks from the album, people will think I am attempting to give away my router number in a drunken stupor. It feels like I have to come up with angles etc and if it has not become obvious I am reading this and I am sure writing it will come out better in my head than me attempting to reading it, and insisting on keeping up the fuck up because showing my mistakes seems to be the only interesting things about my stupid podcast
I know this take has been done to death on twitter or whatever echochamber, but I feel like I was a pioneer with all this social distancing shit. I have been exiled from everyone for so long and have spent countless nights sitting in my room in the dark, smoking a cigarette while the windows are open, just being depressed about not having anyone and then when I am around people, I don’t want to be around them because I find it more fascinating talking to myself and feeling my own thoughts and maybe that has to do with the fact that when I was younger I did not want to be alone with my thoughts. Like I did not want to even think about shit in fiction. Seeing Terminator 2 as a kid, being used to watching pretty PG kind of stuff, the part where the sun explodes and the entire earth is burning, I remember being freaked out and asking my friend if that could happen someday and he would say calmly “Yeah if there was a nuclear war” and it just made me not want to think about it and I would always want to be distracted because I was scared of having to think what is possible. I feel like people are now kind of going a little bit nutty by not being able to interact or go outside, and as someone who barely left his house since 2009 I assure you, you will survive this.
I wanted to talk about the coronavirus shit but here is the deal, and this is probably why so many people who go the route of the lowbrow type of humor might gravitate to me, because realistically that is where my level of intellect should be because I have been so dumbed down for so long, I would wait for people who were smarter to kind of lead me, and agree with it even though I don’t know how to explain why the earth is actually round, but the evidence that scientists will tell you I will just pretend to understand and use their explanations and I feel a lot of people do that, even though the thing they are going with might be a fact but I bet if you got those people in a room alone to ask them off the record, a lot of people would be in admission that they have no clue, so I have no clue what the fuck is legit about this coronavirus, it used to be so simple just to have a few things that you sense as bullshit, but now with conspiracy theories also becoming a marketing tool, it has made me question that as well. Was it started in China? Was it planned from the US? Did Bill Gates do it since more interviews about him talking about the pandemic are making the rounds, are these celebrities really quarantined? Are they hiding in their bunker? Have they fled the planet and let their illuminati clones suffer? God damn man, tell me something. Some say this is to start a war with China, but if I think the Chinese government is corrupt and dangerous, then I am buying into neocon propaganda, but then if I think there are racial implications with taking advantage to this shit, then I am a hater of the US empire, because it is apparently okay to like US imperialism. There is so much to keep up with, and there are too many narratives. Maybe I need an illuminati microchip that can make me take all of this in and analyze properly because it feels like mentally I am 15 years behind or some shit. I just analyze the world like I think we are all in some reality show and the people who are the upper echelon and their associates of lower status are hooked up with some advanced shit.
I feel like it is a serious thing happening, while some people are being Thanos snapped, but it is also a test run and all I am doing is being Doctor Strange and analyzing all the scenarios that are fucking possible of what could be happening. Will this be the one of the system’s sacrifices of mass people before a more deadly one is created. Is this a way to bring in more leftist policies and make an argument for socialism because if there were ever an event that is taking place that has given the best argument for it, it would be what is being so transparent with how businesses are acting, and how pretentious some of these celebrities are acting. They are supposed to be the villains now, so when you see a bunch of people circle jerking and singing the song Imagine, then you have Norm McDonald come out and give this overly religious message because being anti neoliberal, while making it seem you are anti left, makes right wing people think you are some hip dude because you are not politically correct
That is why I analyze shit the way i do, and I like being unfiltered while I am fucking wrong most of the time with my opinion, even though people have told me I am fucking right in some sideways like way but never bother to elaborate. I really think that this is all planned out, and there are good factions and bad factions. I believe people are having their last run as a baby face before they are revealed to be heels, when in actuality they are just playing heels. We are supposed to be calling it out, but it also seems that people that do call it out, do it with this far right perspective and maybe that is part of their propaganda to tell some truth, or maybe they are pretending to be truth tellers while still running a hustle. I have to think that we are far advanced, and maybe the people dying are being cloned for another planet, maybe the celebrities have escaped the system and are using their clones to fucking die on earth. I don’t fucking know anymore. It just all feels planned. I am not saying idol worship, which is a mistake we all have made, maybe some of you were smarter than most of us before, but it takes some of us some time. I still think they have really tried to hard over the course of the last decade to make it seem like people in the upper echelon are like regular people, and sure with emotions and depression and stress etc but I do think it is harder for them on some level because they are in a world with hidden people and have to embrace some dark ritualistic type of shit, and they make it seem relatable. Is this a way to crash the economy and is it for the sake of good or bad, because I think this whole Trump thing has been a way for people to be more woke and actually have a revolution, even if the whole thing is scripted, and the tragic thing is people will die. That is why in my fucked up brain I hope these people are spiritually somewhere else, maybe their consciousness will be transferred, or maybe there is another world after you die, and no I am not religious, but I believe we are far more advanced than we think. Am I right? Probably not.
It is not all pretentious because I have enjoyed the hip hop element of storylines taking place during this pandemic, with the producers having their battles on Instagram live or Boosie asking women to put their pussy lips on live so he could then give her 1000 dollars. By the way because I think everyone becomes a character and a meme for social media, I am going to predict where this boosie storyline is going to go. He made some anti trans remarks, according to the T’s because he gave his opinion on Dwayne Wade’s daughter, and even though I think there is a sensationalized thinking of the worst case scenarios with this stuff, I do think there are people in the celebrity world who have agendas when they do it. Anyways I think with Boosie asking these women to strip for him, there is going to be a time where some chick is going to be shaking her ass and then she will somehow then reveal she has a dick, and then Boosie will react and he will become a bigger meme, and then to come full circle, it will be revealed to be a plot by the black fraternities he was beefing with a couple of months back.
As far as the wrestling stuff goes, now here is where we go with layers. Let me preface this by saying whatever is happening with these institutions, I believe it is all planned for them. Since WWE is on the downswing, I don’t know if this will be a case of WWE doing well with what the hand they have seemingly been dealt, and people can toot their own horn that anything good that happens is when it somehow happens to be an accident, or maybe this is one situation where they are going to fall a part because they insisted on going on with this show when a pandemic is happening, so will wrestlers end up having it so we have more sacrifices and then people will really be outraged about WWE and mixing in the accumulated bad press they have received for other things. Maybe the bad press will be that instead of informing their fans of the safety of the wrestlers, they decided to pull the wool over our eyes and lie about Reigns being pulled so we assume the match is not happening. People will then think using a pandemic to pull the wool over our eyes was done in such bad faith. I don’t know what the angle they will decide to go with, but I know that there will unfortunately always be something that will be revealed about Reigns, because he is supposed to be a real villain, and lately he has been seen as a good company man and not talking down to fans. I feel like we are in the conspiracy era, and by the way it feels like America, which I have pointed out is like the attitude era just a little before Trump was becoming a political figure, and now in the world we are in the era of WCW shutting things down for couple of weeks and they rebooted it to start over with Russo and Bischoff.
So I will be happy to talk more about wrestling but if you haven’t noticed and you can tell when I am reading, that I will probably mess up 15 times because even though this sounded good in my head writing it, it will not sound as clear because I tend to adlib a lot. But this podcast is a fucking failure and no one wants my vision of podcasts because it is not good enough until I give into how they want me to do it because it is not simple enough for them to move on to a next podcast but because they have entitlement issues over me, they think it has to be catered to people who have verbally jumped me everytime I log on, and then if they give me criticism I am supposed to just take their judgement as is and not add any context why i don’t react well to people telling me what I should do. If you are a real supporter of mine, you will understand the journey I am taking, and if you actually have respect for my mental health you will stop pressuring me to have guests and take calls when most of it is just trolling and not even anything creative. Why do you need to be a part of everything I do? Stop trying to bully me into doing it your way. I don’t care if people listen or not, I just want to express myself in a more healthier fashion than having to be reeled into drama on periscope and it is becoming so fucking sickening having to guess who is setting me up, are people confiding in me, knowing my shit is tapped, am I being put through morality tests. Sorry if me expressing my mental health is too fucking boring for you. Maybe some of you shouldn’t be part of my life. I will probably end up failing with this anyways. I fail at everything. I will probably fail at failing, because that’s how much of a god damn failure I am.

Noir Live-ish Blog Highlights: Eps 9-13
Ep 9 I understand that their modus operandi is usually to infiltrate by separate routes, but after seeing so many episodes where Kirika took the lead in the kill, despite the explanation I rationalized last episode, but it still seems pragmatically off for Mireille to take the lead in a situation where she knew she was emtionally compromised. Was her pride that strong that she was determined to face Silvana herself, or did she decide that she needed to face this to get over such a mental obstacle? There’s also the Soldat connection, which she was very forward and had Kirika take down the grunts in Ep 5, once the deaths of her friends came into play. Hopefully such impressive character consistency isn’t my own overanalyzation extrapolating happy coincidence. Because animation cannot be like live-action, where actor and on-the-spot improvisations can often bring depth that wasn’t thought of during the writing stage, it’s much less likely that animation can afford many non-explicit/subtle imagery. Everything has to be specified by the writer/director to be put in the drawing or script, while the levels of depth in live action have often been unexpected revelations that occur much further down in the process than could be caught and included in animation, so I find it hard to believe that a writer could come up with a comparable level of detail by themself. It’s clear that despite the implicit acknowledging of Kirika being the better killer, Kirika has never used that to push a course of action. She’s taken tactical actions before in the field, but obviously she’s never been like “I can handle this kill better” or anything. She trusts the intial plans that Mireille makes. For example, not popping Silvana when they were on the balcony. Lol bloodless death by blade. Aaaaand from daylight to sunset in 2 seconds. Woooow, Silvana is disturbingly consistent. True psychopathy, in that she operates on her own system, utterly independent of any systems of morality developed by general humanity. Her 180s with regards to Mireille based on seconds of action completely make sense within her framework. Hah, Mireille is the opposite of most sentiments towards killing styles, wherein the gun is considered the crude “too easy” way and blades are the more elegant style. Her distaste for the “kill people by stabbing” method is so cute. Wow, I think they continue to spend their fluid-animation budget on the trivial frames. First it was Kiriko walking across the room, this time it was an insert of a hand picking a flower. Really? (Well, okay, they spent some time on Mireille’s aborted punch.) Ep 10 This opening scene is straight outta Leverage. Huh, not sure if I’m starting to see the glimpses of Mireille going for more “justified” jobs? Not just hits for income’s sake, but more towards the direction of the monologue at the open of every episode, wherein Noir is a guardian figure. Lol, I like how this random dude ON THE OPEN STREET has the lowdown on assassin shit. I guess France doesn’t have shooting ranges? Or are they trying to lay low by not having gun licenses in their public identities? Ooh, artsy foggy France night-lighting and shadow cinematography. Classic. I wonder how many reference movies the staff/director watched to get the right shots. OH MAN, THESE COMPUTERS. Ep 11 Man, spy thriller shows necessarily change so much generation to generation, thanks to technology. It’s impossible for things to remain so stupidly cryptic in today’s world. Rather, the criminal element would have a lot of information. For being assassins, they sure are good at firefights, which for assassins who don’t have a military background, and are supposed to be at such a high level of stealth, should not be so experienced at large group altercations. MIREILLE IS TOTALLY BEWILDERED LOLOLOLOLOLOL. She is completely out of her depth. I love how little poetry she has in her soul. She always wants to get right down to business, and doesn’t want to indulge in pointless niceties and cryptic bullshit. In that sense, her opinion on “garish” killing is one big irony joke, because when it comes down to it, she’s the less refined one at heart. And yet at the end, when she sees how the social conventions are going during the tea part, she bows to them in resignation. (Seriously, I am going to pursue this “Mireille represents the sociopath in us all” line as long as they keep giving me the material.) Chloe is SO smug about catching Mireille in just a shirt. Delicious. Ep 12 So I bet the REAL reason Chloe is being groomed as the new Noir is because she has the heart to indulge victims’ sentimentality, save the target for herself, etc., where Mireille doesn’t give a shit, and since Kirika is following Mireille’s lead, she’s no longer suitable, either. Man, these assassins don’t like using poison, huh. Huh, so if Chloe really is taking on the Noir name, and not just as jabs towards Mireille and Kirika, then what are the latter being groomed for? Is Chloe just Noir until the others are “fixed”? It’s a lost cause, of course, If Chloe’s any indication, then Mireille and Kirika are using aobut 1000% too many guns in their kills. Mireille’s “daily bread” philosophy is also probably a problem on that front. No poetry in her soul for things that are just “jobs.” She just shrugs at target backstory, and would never take the initiative for a second kill, as Chloe did here, not without it being an assignment first. This serves as the perfect contrast to Ep 6, wherein if it was Chloe, and not Kirika-following-Mireille’s-lead, she would have followed up with the other parties to end the cycle. Ep 13 Ah, the differences in budget. If it were KyoAni, he would have been doing different non-looping brush strokes. Dissonant jazz vocals!? Death by tally: Meh, waterfall subterfuge. Not so crea—DEATH BY – WHAT DO I EVEN CALL THAT. 8D 8D 8D 8D 8D 8D It’s not bungee. Tether-jumping? What? I don’t even know what to call that other than your other FLIPPING AWESOME squee. HO SHIT, SON. KIRIKA IN THE FUCKING HOUSE. BEST PARTNER EVER. See, Mireille, why didn’t you let the girl take the lead in the first place. She don’t got emotional baggage crippling her in this fight. I don’t see you shooting blades into pieces and not shattering them from far away up a hill. Tsk, tsk. DEATH BY COIN-ASSIST. Wish it had been true death by coin, but ah well. DEATH BY TREE BRANCH-ASSIST, DEATH BY OWN GUN-DRAW, DEATH BY NECK-BREAK BREAKING HER UPSIDE DOWN FALL FROM SAID TREE BRANCH. And Mireille thinks it’s garish. Silly girl.

Pulse Blogger: Acrimony: A pity party I refused to turn up for
Tyler Perry was high on something hotter than the sun to be able to pull off such nerve racking movie.
I was skeptical when I saw it trending on twitter like Black Panther did months ago. But deep down, I couldn't remember one time Tyler disappointed in a movie, from the Madea series to Diary of a mad black woman.
All of them had genius buried in the DNA of the movies.
Tyler knew exactly what he did in that movie. From the narration by Taraji who played Melinda— a narration that was steeped in brokenness, helplessness and most importantly an unconscious appeal to the sympathy of the target audience.  You cannot help seeing the movie and story from her standpoint.  You may try to maintain a straight line of thinking while watching but I bet you won't know when you stagger off the line and plunge into a mucky water of her story.
Before you notice what had happened to you, you must have turned into a model of pity.
Tyler Perry and his crew studied the human emotions thoroughly not because they had an exam to pass but because you cannot manipulate what you don't understand.  They had to understand the ‘why’s’, the ‘WTF's’, the ‘Awwwwws’, the ‘YES!’ the ‘this is cute’ and every other thing in relation to the anatomy of the human emotion.
The movie had everybody thinking about what they will do in that case, it had some people interpret their relationship with that script; it had some other people on the sidelines of love say "You see why love is Bullshit?  You see why I am incapable of love?  Acrimony is why"
Lol

 Bitterness, Hatred, Animosity, Enmity.
Acrimony is such a nice word that it barely even fits its description compared with the words above and other cruel sounding ones.
The reason the movie is raising eye brows is simply because Tyler tweaked the ending and instead of the conventional love story “Awwwwwns”,  he said "let's give them some WTF moments". And Boom!
He did it and a conversation ensued: who is wrong and who is right?
It became an irritating exercise of side taking and a festival of generalizations. It became a reminder to women that men were scum.  The movie made them forget that the art of "scumry" is like breathing.  Everybody owns a scum side that always shows or rarely shows.
Melinda.  A young pretty girl mistakenly runs into a young man Robert on a rainy school day and her books scatter across the wet floor like bottle covers in a pub. Her first reaction is what ruined her—anger.  Not normal anger—an abnormal violent anger that encouraged her to hit a sturdy black man who she didn't know anything about.  She threw logic to the wind and managed to land few punches on him.
Robert picks up the papers and tracks her down with the INTENT of apologizing. He went to her room to apologize and just like many "one night stands" that ended in marriage; he fell in love with her.  The way he looked at her changed. He saw a glow that was never there when she hit him. She saw a walking and talking sexiness stand before her door armed with a chocolate skin and a broad smile.
I wouldn't say who fell before whom. I want to believe they fell together. Like an on-your-marks kind of falling.
Now, on their first date, he didn't hesitate just like everyone else with a big dream to tell her his lofty dreams.  I am sure that at the time Mark Zuckerberg was building facebook, the conversations he had on date nights must have had boring tales of how was going to bring the whole world together with a single application.
Robert was that and more.
He shared HIS dreams probably expecting reciprocation but it never came.  She didn't have something she was chasing, like a dream job or something.  She had interest in just graduating from school.

 They were direct opposites.
Now, men or women who are given to inventions and great ideas stay either SINGLE or they are married to SOMEONE (Male or female) who completes them. Someone who they can run to and ask "hey, I'm trying to fix X but Y is popping up. What should I do? Should a make an x out of the y? "
Someone who supports the dream with something more tangible than money!
Moreover, take this to the bank: Money didn't do half of the things sharing of ideas and criticisms of ideas did when facebook was a baby idea. I say this with a wonderful amount of conviction because money doesn’t birth ideas.
I honestly think people didn't watch this movie with an understanding of how society works.
She gave him an idea of a better name to call his battery.  It was a naming ceremony that involved lovers, like lord Lugard and his wife who after sex named the largest country in Africa Nigeria
Good.  Great!
But it wasn't the name that made it buyable or appealing. The name didn’t save that idea for the entire 18 years that it suffered rejection and neglect.
Let's digress a bit to the incident that marred the relationship at first.
Robert being a prostitute decided not to nurture his common sense by at least being faithful to a girl that just got you a car.  Now, I’m not even saying that you can cheat if you are not given a car.  I am saying that it takes a higher level of disregard to cheat on someone you love who sacrificed thousands of dollars to get you a car.
Robert was a fool by letting the thought of cheating linger in his mind.
We humans have two sides: physical and emotional sides. Melinda’s emotional side was damaged already. Yet, Melinda wasn't reasonable enough to guard her physical side which was at least healthier than her emotional side.
She decided to be impaired emotionally and physically by deciding to run into his caravan attempting to kill him.
I won't defend her actions with "oh, she's got anger issues that she couldn't manage." I'm not doing that!  If not, it'll be cool to say "Oh, ISIS terrorists have a terrible anger problem.  If only they can be treated they'll stop bombing.” You see how stupid it sounds?
Now, small praise for Robert:
It is bad to hurt someone you love or better still someone who loves you.  On the other hand, it is also bad to attempt to kill someone you love because he cheated.
Like, Robert would have lost his life midway into orgasm.  She saw them having sex and then she decided to screw them too by attempting to kill them—a threesome gone wrong.
Robert and Diana ran out unscathed and she was already bleeding from her nose.
Read Also: Dear Nigerian youths,we are not lazy,Buhari is a shame
 Scratch that.
Robert didn't even think of how he almost got killed when he was begging her for forgiveness. He didn't bother thinking of how she would have moved on to another guy had he died.  He just wanted one thing: A second chance to prove he could be faithful.
Had Tyler Perry turned the table of that scene where she hit his caravan house and let's say he gets injured and finally becomes a cripple, you'll be shocked at how the tone of the arguments will change.  We'll hear sermons of how karma is a wonderful soldier that defends the defenseless.  We'll have women trying to be employees of karma by attempting murder tomorrow.  And you'll be shocked at the percentage of people who wouldn't give a single damn about the dead fella.
When she was running into that caravan with her car, she didn't mean to hurt herself.  She wanted him DEAD. She was pulling the bow so hard she didn't know the arrow was aimed at her forehead.
She wanted him back.  She would have averted further misery by letting him go but she didn't.  She wanted to love him with his brokenness and his obvious imperfections.
Anger, third party and assumptions are the tripod on which their wrecked marriage stood on.
I've discussed anger lengthily. Let's talk about third party and the role it played in Melinda's misery.
Melinda's sisters NEVER liked Robert. I remember her telling her sisters that they must like him.  Of course they tried but it wasn't cake walk.
When a third party is involved in a relationship, they are mostly foolish. The eldest sister of Melinda ticks all the boxes of foolishness.  She was selfish.  She just wanted to be able to say "Yo, I told you years ago to live his battery-inventing-broke-ass alone but you was in love.  Now see what has happened?”  This was her aim all through the movie.  To prove to her baby sister that she made a wrong choice.  Such undiluted bitterness deep seated in her heart.
She saw a purse that belonged to the girl that cost her sister her womb and all a grown woman thought about was running to her sister whose marriage has been standing on one leg because Robert didn't want any job.  He wanted his battery to replace the sun.  She ran to her sister with fulfillment in her eyes. Her dream had come true.
Robert DIDN'T cheat. They had just coffee and discussed his battery— a productive discussion that changed the cause of his life forever.
Melinda, a wreck rushes to the house to complete the beating she started years ago in school.  They created a scene.  He was already on his way going for the presentation of what will be the genesis of her dreams of luxury.  She almost stopped him but he staggered into that company and had a deal of 800 thousand dollars turned down.
People argued on twitter that he was selfish by not taking that 800k. I didn't blame them for being so sincere with their Myopia. I blame social media that has replaced looking at the "big picture" with scampering for dope pictures that’ll illicit likes.
Robert invested 18 years of his life in this project.  No family.  Not one member of his family to tell him that all was going to be well. He was ALONE with his confusions and frustrations. You may say "He had a wife" and I'll tell you that you are estranged to reality.  As a man or woman in love,  no matter how you try to spin it, there are certain frustrations you go through that your spouse will know about but only your family will understand you a hundred percent. No disrespect to the marriage institution but it is what it is.
Robert didn't have anyone to run to—Just his wife who he wouldn't blame for giving up on him before he struck gold.
He was not going to take that meager amount all because of a house.  He will be doing himself a great disservice by doing that. There is a stubbornness that accompanies greatness and focus—a reckless disregard for desperation no matter how bad you want it. Robert had that stubborn trait which made him slam the door against 800k dollars. This was someone who didn't have 50 dollars on him at the time.
To some, that was stupidity. To few people who can relate to such stubbornness, cheers.
Getting home and announcing to his raging partner that he turned down such deal came off as insensitive to me. I think that there were other things to say apart from that. I mean, in a house that was choking with confusion and impending depression, you waltz in telling them that you turned down 800k that could easily barter their confusions.
Make no mistake; "Roberts" of this life do not think the way others do. He might have turned down that deal because of its pointlessness.  800k wasn't going to fulfill his promises to his wife. It wasn't going to get the diamond ring or the boat or even one engine of a private jet.  It doesn't even come close to what he had gone through for 18 years.
Read Also: Now that we are one month closer to our graves
It is easy to label him "selfish" because of democracy of words but I feel that selfish is rather a harsh word. I feel focusing on the big picture was used interchangeably with selfishness a lot in the conversations I've seen on twitter.
Melinda defiantly puffing smoke to his face and wishing she could squeeze the life out of his neck.  She walked him out of the house that she sacrificed for his project.  He begged but he knew the woman he got married to. She even bragged about her madness once or twice in the movie.  She even said “You know me. I can be the devil”
Robert left and wandered into homelessness.  No job.  No wife. No family.  No love.
Melinda stayed. At least she had family—her sisters and their husbands who played roles in their divorce. Talking about the divorce; Robert walked into that room crestfallen, he was forced out of his will to sign those papers.  He resisted by begging her before the lawyers and her family but Melinda was hell bent on that. The divorce meant a lot to her eldest sister whose dream finally came true.
He left the room he had walked into as a married man divorced.
Melinda got busy that night under the sheets moaning with eyes closed trying to see heaven. She went down with another man hours after divorcing.
Now, girls support this with an argument that it was her way of moving on from Robert.  I honestly do not understand how people maltreat their brains by saying things like this.   Sleeping with hundred men with the sole aim of moving on from one man is never logical and rather looks like choking the universe with all the promiscuity that being in a relationship didn't afford you.
Diana replaced the woman who had made sure that Robert was frustrated resigned from Prescott and that felt like God working according to Robert.  After she had met with Robert seconds after leaving her car, she got to the office and asked her secretary to get her all the files that had Robert Gayle on it.
She spent her time going through the videos from the first one he sent to the last one. She sat there watching the man she once had inside her frolic with his lover amidst hugs and mushiness.
People argued that she wanted Robert for herself and that was why she helped in the first place. I didn’t see an ulterior motive in her actions and inactions. When she helped him get an appointment with Mr Prescott, he was still married. As a matter of fact, he had rubbed it in; “Diana, I am married. I don’t cheat on MY wife”. Of everything he had wanted to do at the time, cheating wasn’t on the list because of the turn he life had taken.
Robert according to the judge was way too kind out of his own free will. He came to Melinda’s office with a bouquet of rose flowers just to tell her “Our battery hit”. He didn’t have to after all, I mean; she had forced him through a divorce and had thrown him out of their house. Yet, Robert deemed it necessary to come give her the news without contempt.
It was then that she knew that she had messed up. I can boldly argue that she left him because the battery dream seemed dead and she didn’t want to “Waste” more years with a loser. Now, let’s get something straight; I’m all for equality of the both sexes and I find this statement cringe worthy; “After wasting my time with you all these years…” You can hardly see a man that uses that statement.
It always comes from the females. When they say that, you can see the regret in their voice, you can see the unconscious plea for a refund of all those years as though the relationship didn’t involve two people. Melinda wanted a refund of all the money she had spent on Robert. Robert gave her a ten million dollar cheque with the keys to her mother’s house. The generosity level he showed was stratospheric even the judge said he hadn’t seen such in his court.
Honestly, I think demanding for all the money you spent on your lover after the love goes sour is as stupid as any other person asking for a refund of all the laughter’s, blushes, cuddles, butterflies and even orgasms.
Melinda realized she was a loser already and went ballistic. She created a pseudo account and stalked Diana as though Diana had her placenta. She threatened, she cussed, she promised to be a thorn in the flesh of Diana. Let us not forget how she believed that coming to Roberts house with lingerie will bring them back together after she had promised him at her office; “We are not getting back together Robert”.
Now, it is her that desires the comeback but sadly, he had moved on.  Make no mistake; she still loved him and he still loved her. I mean; who gives his enemy a 10 million dollar check? But, just as we have seen countless times— we almost never get to marry our one true love. We know them, they know us but there is something somewhere that makes it completely impossible to happen.
Melinda blamed her sisters, she said that they got into her head and messed up their relationship. She wanted to seduce him with her strapped lingerie and Diana walked into them and kept her calm until Robert did an introduction that ran Melinda out of the house.
Read Also: Life is nobody's age mate
The reason I refused to turn up for the pity party Melinda threw with her narration was simple; she was playing the victim. The narration was her point of view. Had Robert handled that narration, we would have seen and understood the anatomy of pain, rejection and frustrations. He would have taken the viewers down the dusty road of neglect and disregard.
If Melinda claims that Robert wasted her time and destroyed her life, Robert can claim that she was a bad omen in his life because it was after the divorce from her that his dream came true. Post relationship claims are full of crazy sentiments and well tailored blackmail. I stay out of conversations that see to a verbal brawl of people who once loved themselves.
Everything Melinda lost in Acrimony was her fault. Everything!
She lost her womb because of her anger. There was no point in trying to bring down that caravan house. She lost her marriage because a grown woman like her let her disgruntled sisters to advice her to leave her husband while they lived with theirs.  Losing her own life was her fault too. She didn’t pay heed to the judge’s instruction.
She found her way into the boat she claimed was hers. In fact, Melinda was a mad woman. She was an insane woman! I won’t exhaust the little sympathy I have left on Melinda. She doesn’t deserve the effort of pity. I will not feel sorry for her because of her anger issue. It was her duty to fix her life and not my duty to share pity when things go south as a result of her not seeking help.
Melinda ruins a boat cruise with her bitterness. Shoots at Robert and axes his leg. She dies and he dies. At least she had succeeded in killing him after trying years ago.  This was her only success in the movie—killing and Robert and ruining his new found love with her new found insanity.
Finally, I feel a certain level of gratification knowing that I have penned down half the way I feel about Acrimony and most importantly throw my weight behind the conversation. You may want to see my submission as insensitive or wicked but I promise not to budge because you won’t understand how I dislike being generous with sympathy. I use it sparingly like a foolish man uses wisdom.

Iconic Black Sitcoms of the 90s: A Visual Homage to Their Style and Influence

Iconic Black Sitcoms of the 90s: A Visual Homage to Their Style and Influence
Learning about my Blackness began at home — in my living room, seated in front of the television. During primetime, I’d sit with my dad and watch UPN, or as my dad called it, “You People’s Network,” where I’d fall in love with the characters on Eve, Moesha, The Parkers and Girlfriends. Growing up in an urban-suburb, I’d always daydreamed about life in the big city, and watching the characters on these shows transported me there for a few hours each night.

The television of this time — the 1990s and early 2000s — was ripe with Black lives and localities. Shows like A Different World, Girlfriends, Martin, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Sister, Sister had complex characters who each presented their own universes. Anyone who tuned into these shows could be exposed to the many different ways of being Black. In one evening, viewers could travel from Detroit to Bel-Air with the click of a remote control, which was critical in the years following the L.A. riots and the media blitz of the O.J. Simpson trial. In sitcoms, unlike in the news, we could see the power and diversity of the Black family unit and see that Black success was possible.
Thirty-seven-year-old Insecure Director Melina Matsoukas came of age during the height of the Black primetime sitcom. Over the course of an hour-long call for this story, we spoke about the shows that impacted us as women of color, and for Matsoukas, how these shows influence her work today in modern television and entertainment. “Having black casts and having black stories [is] a way to educate and bring about understanding, hopefully to begin to end the ignorance that infiltrates this country so deeply.”
One way Matsoukas paints these stories is through style. She notes that “fashion is really another character.” For Matsoukas, clothes play a pivotal role in moving along a plot and exposing a narrative. Clothes can tell the audience a great deal about who the characters are, where they’re from, or where they’re headed. We also discuss how fashion challenges viewers to understand that Blackness is not monolithic. In the Black sitcom specifically, styling, location and music all played a vital role in casting a positive light on Black life.
In one of my favorite episodes of 90s sitcom Martin, the character Sheneneh and her friend Laquita compete with Gina and Pam for inclusion in a Detroit social club. Pam and Gina step outside their usual wardrobe realm of trendy 1990s silhouettes in an attempt to dress like the elder members of Detroit’s social elite (think coral and pearls). They go shopping and play dress-up while trying to find outfits that make them look more affluent. When Pam and Gina arrive at the club in their muted outfits, Gina squeals in excitement and Pam reminds her that “this is where we belong.”
Much to their surprise, Sheneneh and her friend Laquita arrive dressed in an amplified version of their standard “ghetto fabulous” attire: Sheneneh wears a leather motorcycle jacket, sneakers and a plaid skirt, while Laquita looks like she’s just stepped out of Lil’ Kim’s 1996 “Crush on You” music video. In the end, Sheneneh’s authenticity and charisma show Pam and Gina that they don’t have to change who they are to fit into the club. By juxtaposing Pam and Gina’s more toned-down looks with Sheneneh and Laquita’s homage to hip hop royalty, the styling of the episode articulated class difference, generational divides and taught the viewers a great deal more about the women portrayed on screen than the script alone.
When stylist Shiona Turini pitched a fashion-centric celebration of iconic black 90s sitcoms — the work of which you see throughout this piece — I began to think differently about fictional wardrobes of characters like Sheneneh, for whom style was everything. These clothes weren’t just clothes; they were portals. For Shiona, these shows, with their casts and their clothes, were also gateways into how she viewed the world. “As a young girl in Bermuda, I was culturally nurtured off of them,” she told me. “I dreamed of a life outside of my tiny island that could be even a fraction as fabulous as the lives I saw on Fresh Prince, Girlfriends or A Different World.” And now, as a grown woman? “They serve as foundational references for my everyday.”
Left to right:Hillary: Alessandra Rich dress, Off-White x Jimmy Choo shoes, Lele Sadoughi earringsWill: models own wardrobe Jazz: Valentino track suit and shoes, Fallon necklace, Andy Wolf sunglasses, Dior ringCarlton: Valentino shirt, Coach sweater, Miaou pants, Christian Louboutin shoesAshley: Chanel top and skirt, Dior bag, SJP shoes
In revisiting my nostalgia for these shows, I was also reminded of the stumbles some of their legacies have taken. I was reminded, for instance, that Tisha Campbell-Martin (who played Gina on Martin) sued — and won — a sexual harassment case against her co-star Martin Lawrence. The two appear to have since made amends, and Campbell-Martin has even signed on for a reboot. That this happened, however, is now embedded within my fond memories of the show.
Let’s also not forget the elephant in the room: Do you know how hard it is to talk about television in the 1990s and not talk about The Cosby Show? In my chat with Melina Matsoukas, we found ourselves fumbling over how to articulate our fondness for A Different World, a collegiate-centered spinoff of The Cosby Show, as well as the excellence of Debbie Allen (who directed both) without mentioning the nuclear connection between the two.
In all honesty, you’d have a hard time finding a young Black person who had access to a television who wasn’t in some way influenced by The Cosby Show, but we can’t totally separate the goodness of the show without dealing with some of the concrete realities of Bill Cosby’s legacy. I know I haven’t been able to parse this out yet. In Cosby’s case, as with Martin Lawrence’s — as with any of the men in entertainment who’ve been accused of sexual harassment and/or abuse — celebrating the positive impacts of their associated shows, casts, crew, fashion (the works) means reconciling with that fact these men have cast shadows across otherwise historically celebrated moments in television.
But wait: are they unilaterally celebrated? When I spoke with Mara Brock Akil, the writer and producer who is known for Girlfriends and most recently, BET’S scripted drama Being Mary Jane, she reflected back on the 90s and said, “It was a time in which corporate America decided to monetize our culture. It [happened] rapidly and wildly in the areas of music, fashion, and television.” She explained that networks were so pressed to squeeze together these three areas that, “in some cases, you couldn’t get a show green-lit without a black musician [acting in it].” This conversation with Akil challenged me to evacuate the comfort of nostalgia and get real.
As my chat with Mara Brock Akil shifted from phone call to text messages, she said she didn’t get a chance to talk about “any of the fun stuff.” Over text, she explained how, on Girlfriends, the characters Maya and Toni “contributed to the acceptance and celebration of weaves” and how Lynn “gave permission for black women to not have it all together but still [be] intelligent and deserving of love.” She ended our exchange by bringing it back to the transformative power of fashion: “Tracee Ellis Ross influenced a lot of Joan’s style, but it took fighting for a black woman costume designer to allow these characters to take flight.” With each layer of new information, I grew more thankful for the shows of this era, complexities and all.
Freddie from A Different World
One of the great powers of Girlfriends, Martin, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, A Different World, and Sister, Sister was that they granted Black people the chance to defy how we traditionally understood love and self-determination, too. The shows, casting, storytelling and scoring, gave us a chance to walk in pride as we shattered the limitations of stereotypes. Likewise, the fashion that brought these characters to life presented a multitude of Black identities that had not been previously showcased in mass media. And beyond fashion, as Mara Brock Akil shared, “[Black sitcoms] gave an entry point for the artists of the day… [T]he artists [who] were growing up… are better storytellers as a result.”
For a generation of creatives, these entry points granted us permission to see sisterhood, find humor, and learn that while there certainly might be complexities and adversity, there weren’t any realities too harsh to unfold with the power of courageous storytelling. These shows taught us how to style ourselves, tell our own stories, and be heard — whether on or off TV.

Hey there /r/entrepreneur! JCP here. I’m reading 52 business books in 52 weeks, and this week’s book was Pitch Anything by Oren Klaff. Here are my biggest takeaways -- 241 pages packed down into a 420 second read.I'm giving away 3 copies of our next book, Never Eat Alone, and you're eligible if you read this summary. Comment on this post to enter. Now, onto the summary!PITCH ANYTHING by Oren Klaff We can use the acronym STRONG to provide us a method of pitching.Setting the frameTelling the storyRevealing the intrigueOffering the prizeNailing the hookpointGetting a decisionAll About FrameYour frame is the aura about you, and your methods and modes of processing information and acting upon it.Your frame tells everyone else in the room about your power, status, and authority.Everyone has a frame, strong or weak. All social encounters bring people together, and therefore frames together. Every social interaction includes a clash of frames. This clash can be violent, or very smooth. When you waltz into the office as CEO, everyone knows you're the boss. They accept your boss frame without a hitch. If you have a cofounder, your frames may violently clash and do battle when you two disagree.Frames cannot coexist for very long, one will eventually take precedence over the other. Only one frame survives a clash. Stronger frames will always take precedence over weaker frames. The winning frame writes the script of the social interaction. A strong frame is the director and star of a movie in which other weaker frames are mere actors. When you are not the one directing the conversation or social interaction, you are falling into someone else's frame.A powerful frame is accepted without revolt if its authority, leverage, and power is far stronger than the other frames around. A powerful frame needs not explain itself. There are several styles of frame. The Power Frame: Keywords here are defiant and light humor. Chasing a deal and need approval from the boss of a big firm? He's at his mahogany desk, you're sitting in a low chair beside him (you face him, he doesn't face you). What are you going to do to get his attention and let him know you mean business ? -- i.e. let him know your frame is stronger than his. Challenge him and flirt with the boundaries; but use humor and a charming smile to make it all OK.For example. You enter the CEO's office to pitch him on your company's service. Sitting down would put you in a low, submissive position. You shake hands, he smiles and says "please take a seat." You ignore him and take a stroll over to the windows and take a gander at the view. This creates tension, which is the prelude to a dopamine response; so - you spike his interest. Besides, you just interrupted his boring workday with something entertaining and exciting. You end the silence with a chuckle, "You know, that's exactly what my dad said before I ran away from home. He told me if I left there'd be no coming back. I wanted to run away to the other side of the country." Turn to the CEO, "it was the nuns, they beat me up in Catholic school. Ever since then, when someone tells me to sit down, I start to boil." Leave a moment of awkward silence, then smile with warm eyes and laugh. What you've done here is challenged his frame. He told you to sit down. You instead ignored his command and walked over to the window. You created tension by disobeying him, which peaked his interest. Then, you started telling a story. Storytelling is crucial, and a key part of this book. Finally, you didn't finish the story. You stopped the tale at a very critical part. Everyone wants to know what happens next, but you don't tell them. You offer a very challenging and threatening response to his command, and let the silence sit for a bit. Finally, you top it all off with a warm, charming smile. You've just taken the CEO on a rollercoaster ride of frame revolution. If he smiles with you, he's given into your frame. The ultimate challenge to his frame is to invite him to stand up and enjoy the view with you. If he does this, you know he's given into your frame. The safer bet is to sit down after your half-finished story and smile. This lets him know you're not to be pushed around, but you're not looking for a fight either. After sitting down, expect more frame battles as there's no clear winner yet.The Time Frame: Use time and previous commitments as ammo to fight your frame battles. The classic example of this one is showing up for a meeting and being told by the secretary that Mr. Bigshot is very busy today and can they can only fit you in for 10 minutes. The wrong, and most common thing to do is say "no problem, I'll make this quick!" and then race through your presentation in a very ineffective way. The right approach is to very calmly, but strongly asset, "Look, I understand the CEO is busy. But if we're going to even explore the idea of working together, I need to know your team can stick to a schedule, and honor appointments. We agreed to 30 minutes last week. If you can't honor that, there's no point in having this meeting." This shows your professional, serious, and not to be pushed around. The Intrigue Frame: The brain works by paying attention to new information, and ignoring what is already knows. Your audience works the same way. When you start a presentation, you have the full attention of the audience. They don't know if you're going to say something new yet, and they're eager to find out. Once they begin to get the idea they've already heard a similar pitch, they'll start to check out and stop listening. Why waste brain power and something we've already seen before? We'll apply the same solution to the same old challenge and it'll all be fine.Keep them intrigued with hook points, story telling, and tension. Remember, tension is a good thing! Also, don't drill into the technical details. Technicalities are boring. Keep it big picture, packed with tension, ups, downs, and hook points. Think about some of your favorite movies. Movies have to keep people interested for 2 hours straight. They do that by skipping over the minutia of life and focusing on big picture events and happenings.Leveraging Story Telling: Stories must be brief, and the subject must be relevant to your pitch (you can come up with a creative bridge to just about anything, but there needs to be a bridge). You should be at the center of the story. There should be risk, tension, and uncertainty. There should be time pressure. There should be serious consequences should you fail your mission in the story.Situational StatusSituational Status is your current status and authority in a situation. For example, the President of the United States is said to be the most powerful man in the world. Yet, when the doctor tells the President to open his mouth and say "ahh," he does it. At the airport, that same doctor would listen to the TSA agent who tells him to stand in the fourth line for customs. We can increase our situational status by doing the following:Charmingly ignore power rituals and beta trapsIgnore the status of the challengerLook for opportunities to make small defiances to show your frame's powerAfter taking power, move the discussion into an area where you are the primary, unquestionable expertPosition yourself as the reward, alwaysConfirm your alpha status by making your challenger, who's now in the beta position, make a statement that declares your higher frameMaking the Pitch, and Winning the DealBatter up! Here's how to make a pitch:Introduce yourself and the idea (5 minutes) Keep it quick. Only talk about your greatest achievements (people come away with an average of how you present yourself, so tell them about your 3 home runs and not your 3 homeruns, 2 doubles and 5 singles). Show movement and new forces at work.Explain the budget and the secret sauce (10 minutes) Desire + Tension = Attention. You'll need both in your pitch. Offer a reward, then take something away. Your ideas need to be novel, exciting, fresh, and smell like new opportunity. Novelty in the form of an unexpected gain gives a blast of dopamine. On the other hand, if an expected reward fails to come about, then dopamine dries up, and negative feelings start to emerge. Give unexpected gains, and don't disappoint on promises. The amount of dopamine has to be just right. Not enough, and there is no interest; too much, and there is fear or anxiety. Use Push/Pull to play with desire and tension. Talk about your "unfair advantage" in the marketplace, and show your competence in the finances without getting bogged down in minutia.Offer the deal (2 minutes) What's your audience going to receive? What are they going to need to put into the pot?Frame domination and hot cognition (3 minutes) Hot cognition is deciding you want something before you fully understand it. Most decision are made with our gut. Studies have found we make decisions 7 seconds before we consciously decide on an option. Use tricks from your frame arsenal to trigger hot cognition. Finally, eradicate all neediness. Neediness = lack of abundance, something no one wants to be around. The brain is wired to do things to achieve status, not money.Click here for Actionable Steps  Did you enjoy the read? THE DAILY GRIND… ARE WE THERE YET?
Saturday, 9 December, 2017.  Sunny with clouds and chilly in Vancouver, today.  I wuz up around 8:30am.  Did't really get moving until about 11am.  Wuz thinking and feeling my loneliness... difficult for somebody like me to find anyone with enough brains and education to be interesting.
Today, William Shakespeare crossed my mind.  I'm of the opinion that he was NOT much of a writer and that all the work attributed to Shakespeare was written by Christopher Marlowe.  Marlowe received a scholarship to university at age 17.  He is, of record, not seemed to have been there much, if at all, after his first few months.  He, simply, vanished only to be arrested, in Holland for spying for the British Government.  Being gay was punishable by death, in those days, so anyone gay could be, easily, forced into being a spy.
But, young Marlowe put his travels to good use... "The Merchant of Venice", "Hamlet" while he was busy spying in Denmark.  Marlowe was, supposedly, killed in a bar brawl, in London.  Under his new identity and, being dead, he was free to travel, again and spy.
Meanwhile, back in London, hack writer and aspiring gentleman, William Shakespeare, who was Catholic... punishable by death, was put into spying and formed the "King's Men" group and, under the sponsorship of the government, ran the Globe Theatre... a perfect place for spying.  All types came and went.
Shakespeare wanted to be known, or became known, as a 'gentleman' by applying to be one. Yup... in those days, in order to be a 'gentleman' one had to, actually, be able to prove you came from 'noble' blood and had a 'coat of arms'.  If you couldn't produce a coat of arms that was on record with the "Order of the Garter" you weren't an 'official' gentleman.  But, with the rise of a business class, one could 'apply' to be a gentleman and, if accepted, would be granted an official document declaring you to be a gentleman and the records to prove it.... because you could, actually, HAVE to show your "gentleman's license", as it were.   There were times when names were posted, in public, of men who pretended to be gentlemen, but weren't... they were to be shunned.
Shakespeare left no writings, no notebooks... nada, in his estate.  He did leave an estate but, surprisingly, for a writer, it contained not a single book, nor piece of writing, so far as we know.  If it weren't for the discovery of a set of plays and writings, long after his death, we might not have known of him.  Now, there are several old sets of plays that have been discovered... the original scripts, etc.
Did I mention that the Privy Council ORDERED that Christopher Marlowe is graduated... in spite of never really attending university?  Yup... the Quee, herself, ordered that he be graduated.  Now, isn't that a bit odd?  And we know, for sure, he was a good writer because a few of his writing survives.  It is also known that the chancellor, of the university, was a spy working for Queen Elizabeth.  Marlowe had a choice... be a spy or be executed for being gay.  Choose the spy option and you have a job for life and a chance to travel and have an adventure at the government's expense.  Marlowe was a regular James Bond of his time.
That's my opinion.  What would I know?  I read a lot of stuff and research history.  Never had a lot of interest in Shakespeare, or literature, but I like history... the real history.
For instance... I'm betting you associate Native American "Indians" with horses.  But they had no horses until the arrival of the white men.  Yup.  It's the same reason China never became a great power until the Mongolians overtook them... the Mongols had horses, the Chinese did not.
The English came to power because of the power of the Yew Tree.  Yup.  You see, somebody introduced the government to the power of the longbow... made from Yew.  It is a powerful bow because it is an artificial laminate bow.  The wood is cut with the bark on it.  The bark is shaved down smooth and, on the other side of the bark, an equal amount of tree wood was left... also shaved smooth.
The bow is made by placing the bark side... the dark side, towards the shooter, and the light side... the wood side, on the outer side.  The bark is excellent at absorbing compression, while the wood side is excellent at absorbing expansion... the combo is a killer, so to speak.  It changed the rules of chivalry, in which knights were seldom killed... they were exchanged for ransom... it was the gentlemanly way to do things.  Only the peasants got killed, as they were expendable.
But, when the English armed themselves with several thousand longbows and tens of thousands of arrows, while the French had cumbersome crossbows, the French knights fell under a rainstorm of armour piercing arrows that fell directly from above, by the thousands at once... 300 English died, and 10,000 French died.  The English won the future through technology... the longbow, a fast loading, long range, armour piercing weapon that any young, strong idiot could learn to use.
THIS IS THE END OF THE DAILY GRIND.

…(Physics… The Speed of Light, Grand Unified Theory, Gravity, Dark Matter, Dark Energy… how the physical size of the Electron is the clock that sets the speed of light.  Gravity is motion and a product of the fact that nothing ever sits still, combined with the magnetic properties of Dark Matter/Energy.  Nothing can ever move in an absolute circle and rest is a relativity illusion.
Absolute rest is not possible… ever.  The universe can not end.  Time is change and is an illusion.  It is always now, everywhere, all at once, all of the time. Proof of that is that ANY object MUST be HERE and THERE at the SAME time, no matter how large… even a Galaxy.  It is always NOW on both sides… here and there, in space,  of the Galaxy… all galaxies, everywhere.  Waves can be either physical or electronic.  The duality of the universe keeps it ongoing.  DNA is the battery of life.  When the chains can no longer co-operate, life ceases in the body.  Life, itself, is a duality.  Time measurement is a relativity convenience.)  Time travel is impossible because time is not a place and nothing stays where it was.  One year from now the Solar System will have moved about seven BILLION kilometres through space and will NEVER return to where it was… ever.
Earth travels through space like a long wave… it has NEVER, ever made an actual circle, nor ellipse, in space.  The circle/ellipse is an illusion of relativity.  Nothing can ever travel in an actual circle in space… NOTHING.  Nothing can ever go backward.  Backwards motion is an illusion of relativity.  Time is a repercussion of change and has no fixed rate… things explode or move like a glacier.  At best we can only compare rates of change.  Our rate of change is called the second/minute/hour/day/month/year system.
NOTHING CAN EVER MOVE IN A TRUE CIRCLE.  THE EARTH HAS NEVER MADE A LOOP IN SPACE… EVER.  YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW.
WATCH VIDEO FOR EXPLANATION OF THE PATH OF EARTH THROUGH SPACE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPjohZCMwmI
Earth moves about 7 billion kilometers through space, each year… in a long wave.  Earth NEVER returns to where it was before.  Earth is NOT an island in space… one of the reasons why time travel is impossible.  If you take a trip through space, outside the Solar System, Earth will NOT be there when you return… it will be far, far away.  You will have to return to where it will BE when you arrive… remember, it’s moving very, very, very fast through space in a long wave… never a circle, or ellipse.

I’m a friendly, but pretty blunt, kind of guy.  No time for beating around the bush.  I like to say what I mean and mean what I say.  I’m 73 years old.  Time is not on my side.  You don’t have to like me.  I’m a social recluse, anyway.  I share my life, in photos, video, and words, to let you into my life and hope to inspire you to be a productive and useful human.  I have old age issues but will continue to post, here, while I’m well and able.  I talk a lot… I’m told it’s part of my OCD and ADHD.  Come direct at http://ButchNaked.com  Sign in if you wish to see me naked.

“Now let us touch testicles and mate for life”  Alien on The Simpsons
“It never hurts to have a second set of prints on a gun”  Nelson Muntz, The Simpsons.
I’m here to teach you things.  While I appreciate other people’s opinions, I really don’t much give a crap what anyone thinks.  Until you prove your worth, I will be nice but you have to earn my respect. The moment you say a word, I’ll be figuring you out really, really fast.  You should assume that I don’t trust anyone.  I’ve not met a single trustworthy person in my entire life.  I’ve met lots of nice people who aren’t too bright… well-intentioned folk who know little about anything, people who are nice, most of the time until you say something that offends them.  Honourable people agree to disagree.
Look up the phrase “CRITICAL THINKING” then learn to practice it.  Most people leap before they look and judge before they listen to the facts.  Most don’t have enough knowledge, nor experience, to be experts in much of anything.  You don’t know what you don’t know.  I like to remind you of that, often.
The only other REALLY IMPORTANT thing to know about me is that I, totally, despise all religions, the teaching of religion, and religious institutions… I despise them as the evilest things on the planet.  If you follow a religion, you CAN NOT BE MY FRIEND.   THAT’S THAT.  You are an ignorant idiot who is an ever-present danger to yourself and everyone and everything around you.  Nothing, absolutely NOTHING, is eviler than religion.  I don’t stand for, nor sing, our National Anthem because it praises a fictitious and superstitious being called 'God’.  Only a brain dead moron bonehead ignorant idiot would believe such a thing.
If you have a religion, I will not associate with you… period.  You are a danger to be around.  Yes, I insult religions… they are extraordinarily evil.  I said it, I mean it.  You have a right to be an idiot, but not around me.  I have a right to defend myself against the horrors of religion and I will.  Religion is evil.  People who are into religion are, either, brainwashed or extraordinarily ignorant, not very intelligent, a danger to themselves and everyone around them, and must be avoided.  I can’t say it enough times.  If you have a religion you are brainwashed or too fucking stupid to associate with.  Brainwashed, or stupid… either way you are too dangerous to be around.  Religion is the number one problem in the world.

This arbitrage platform gives you with the ability to detect each linear and triangular arbitrage alternatives from multiple world liquidity sources and execute trades in micro-second velocity. Yet rarely do the individuals utilizing Stellar to send and receive money need to know that they're interacting with the community. Moreover, research has proven that the value of bitcoin has actually outperformed a basket of the most well-liked altcoins so even from an investment perspective, holding bitcoins is perhaps better than betting on altcoins overtaking bitcoin. Bitcoin as a store of worth (having not too long ago passed the price of gold in each assets base unit) is here to stay. Exterior of the distinctive method of transaction signing the bitshares blockchain seems much like bitcoins. Bitcoin growth and cryptography usually require a big amount of experience and understanding of assorted cryptographic programs. Below we've provided a bit of background on Applied Blockchain, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, mining and good contracts. In April 2016 a TechCrunch article written by Neil Haran categorized that Bitshares used a setup and swap methodology to attract mass adoption. As was mentioned above, blockchain builders are sometimes a really different form of worker, with distinctive abilities, habits, and lifestyles. Back in 2008-2009, I began engaged on a pet project to search out arbitrage trades, after playing round with the mathematics I assumed it was attainable to seek out Arb trades utilizing solely the bookies, that coated >three outcomes, like horse-racing. Not having to install unknown software program is an enormous plus, albeit it stays to be seen if this platform is legit. Which in flip are backed by more BitShares, because the BitAssets had been created by being lent at a set fee of interest to holders of BitShares who are required to submit 200% money collateral - cash they actually have at their disposal - in BitShares. There is a demand for people with sturdy technical background, who're curious enough to need to perceive this blockchain expertise and can show that they understand not less than the rules of bitcoin, possibly running an Eris node, having checked out Ethereum,” he explains. It only supports Amazon and Walmart and Amazon prime dropshipping means you must create new accounts and have multiple accounts using totally different bank cards and IPs to make it work - so I wouldn't trust a bit of software to deal with that routinely. Growing the scale of the block is an absolute necessity, however it is unclear how this can reach Bitcoin. Throughout a gathering of Economic Developers from each main Municipality across Nova Scotia, they took time to come out to the bunker and see what now we have developing right here. Since arbs characterize assured income, you aren't really playing in any respect... and that is why it is referred to as Sports activities investing. As a consequence, developers have needed to attempt to use these duct-taped exoskeleton wrappers to construct on high of the protocol to allow new functionality. As a result of the block chain is managed by Chinese miners, just two of whom management greater than 50% of the hash energy. While this may be done as a hidden service, the TumbleBit developers have been hesitant to do this themselves to date. Serving to the world's poorest would clearly have the most important impact on growing international locations. Lee stated, nevertheless, that the bitcoin exchange group is without doubt one of the first where exchanges grant prospects' computers direct market entry (DMA). Good contracts are posted on the blockchain community in the identical means we send crypto-forex. If in case you have a buddy or colleague who can level you to a reliable developer then that's a big plus. They sometimes cost a small fee and provide retailers the potential of by no means having to carry bitcoin. This sentence has been revised to clarify when Bitcoin added the one-megabyte block-measurement limit. Even with a spreadsheet doing many of the work it took about a minute or two to judge arbitrage profitability. Waves Platform was founded by Sasha Ivanov initially of 2016 after the Nxt builders offered a change of strategy which was seen as controversial by part of the community, largely digital asset investors. The role of the Graphic Designer position is pretty self-explanitory, they wil be liable for create customized graphics similar to logos, infographics, marketing, social content material and different photos that we may have. They can also be used with Occasions and with the Transaction API Typically, utilizing a wallet instead of an deal with in an API could have the impact of batching the set of addresses contained in the wallet. The scene is regularly altering, new software suppliers come and go, costs change and most significantly the bookies are always enhancing and ranging their gubbing criterias. The more folks use this new Bitcoin expertise, the more useful it will get for everyone involved. Bitshares was initially launched in July - I consider it was July 18th, 2014 - as Bitshares X. The thought was that there would be this ecosystem of a number of DACs, that may each have their very own perform, and Bitshares X was the exchange DAC. Bitcoin runs on a blockchain that is more secure and decentralized than any of its opponents due to its massive person base and its comparatively lengthy history. It's just an utility that mainstream members of the Bitcoin community do not like speaking about: unlawful transactions. These profitable arbitrage conditions occur recurrently day by day, usually there are more situations than you may effectively use. When put call parity is correctly in place, then arbitrage wouldn't be doable. As we've seen, Bitcoin can be understood as a twin-layered construct, composed of a world community infrastructure on the one hand, and a small group of builders on the opposite. This allows BitShares to have close to instantaneous transactions with extraordinarily low charges, and an infrastructure that scales to the scale of Visa/PayPal and past. These worth stable crypto currencies always have 100% of their value or more backed by the BitShares core forex. But the functions of blockchain technology ranges across numerous fields and each industry has its personal requirements. Bitcoin thus continues to operate, and continues to be regarded (by many) as an open supply software platform that relies on a decentralised peer-to-peer network governed by distributed consensus. This isn't the case for big populations of individuals in developing nations, for whom forex that works like Bitcoin could be incredibly impactful. Stacey Dash On "Why I Say What I Say"
Why I Say What I Say, Even Though I Drive Whoopi, BET, and Most Other Black People Crazy ... After reading the article above, here are my thoughts... Stacey Dash drives me crazy, and I'm not even BLACK!  She having grown up in the South Bronx, having voted for Obama in 2008, and now a right wing representative of the most extreme kind, I agree with her much of the time, but she sticks to the script when she knows it is WRONG.  I'm not really disagreeing with this current post, except in terms of the way Republicans always attack social programs when working on the budget before they attack our inflated military budget.  I'm all for a strong defense.  I'm not a pacifist in that way, but we don't spend the money on our weapons program for the people of this country as much as we spend it for the people making money off it.  Sure, we need reforms in the welfare system, but not cuts, at least not yet. I can't argue with anything Stacey Dash has said in this article. In fact, it is very well said. Besides the "Now, in the promised land of freedom, we seek the lost Eden of separatism?" statement, which I don't understand, I totally understand where she is coming from, but when she starts making the states rights argument in support of the Confederate flag, she loses me.  Her adamant support of all things from the right, and her partisan support of Trump loses me.  But, it makes sense in our bi-polar nation.  When you go from voting for Obama, to voting for Trump, nothing can exemplify that more. The states rights argument for slavery is, and always has been a cloak of justification, which is not much different than what she points out about modern Liberalism.  Donald Trump is just another fat cat that told people what they wanted to hear to get the vote, appealing to their confirmation bias. And, that's just the way things work, she might, and really did say, in this article. That's what's wrong with American politics, it's just hype from the rich to the poor. Neither party is perfect, and it's like I told someone just this morning... I don't believe in the legislation of morality. I don't support blue laws and I don't support laws on sexuality either. The government does not have a place in your church, your bedroom, or your garden. There shouldn't even be any such thing as a government issued marriage license. We have TOO MUCH government; on this we agree. The downfall of conservatism for minorities lies in the lie of "self-sufficiency". Even if there was only one person on the planet, s/he would have to rely on other things to survive. That is a very far fetched example, but so is the idea of self-sufficiency. It DOES take a village for all us to live. One person on the planet wouldn't last very long, don't you agree? So, we have an entire populace of people stuck in public housing without any real upward mobility. Well, we should be thankful that it's there, or we would have people lying in the dirt starving to death like they do in Ethiopia. Without Liberalism we wouldn't have welfare and the like. But, they go way too  far in not just trying to care for people, but in forcing their own moral agenda down the throats of everyone like a blue law that says you can't buy alcohol on Sunday, from the other side of the fence. Where we are in this system is where we need to be with a balance between the free market and the government supplied social safety net. Perhaps, welfare recipients should be required to work. That would make a difference. Anything FREE is taken advantage of and while the exteriors of many public housing projects are well built the interiors may not be all that well kept. It all depends on who is living inside, no matter what color they are. Stacey Dash goes way too far in the other direction from her days supporting Obama, by embracing things that are seemingly racist. The middle ground is the better place if you want to maintain credibility with the masses instead of just the Republican party. They have their shtick and the Dems have theirs. It's a script and when she says some of the things she does, one can't blame people for giving her flack. I agree with her on BLM, but I don't discount that there is racism. Is BLM there now with all the shootings that just occurred in Chicago, or are they just waiting for another cop killing to protest. I know what she is saying. To randomly kill cops is asinine and doesn't solve anything. But, to discount the entire movement is unfair. However, ALL lives do matter, including BLUE lives and 99% of cops never kill anyone each year...  So, you, reactionaries, have a 99% chance of killing an innocent cop if you randomly kill one. The Oscars, who really cares, but as I've written on her page many times, she deserves one for her work as a Conservative. I am glad to know about her past, in that she grew up in the Bronx and saw street life, for real. I just feel like people who aren't finding solutions in one group often jump into another which is like going from the frying pan to the fire. I've always aligned with the right in my way of thinking in terms of family values, even my religious beliefs, and on social issues to the point of personal behavior but not the point of legislating my beliefs over someone else. I've also always been exposed to people of different view points and lifestyles. I've also read our Constitution, and when the other day she made a post about Libertarianism I took issue with one of her readers after he took issue with me. Unfortunately, people are not able to self-govern themselves without posing a threat to others.  Libertarianism is just another unrealistic, pie in the sky, elitist idea based upon one's own self in determining how we should be governed and it is usually embraced by good people, but it doesn't work for society as a whole. We need laws, we need government, just at a minimum and certainly less than we have, but Republicans always attack social programs first when it comes to the budget based on their fallacious idea of self-sufficiency, and never want to mess with the military budget even though it consumes over 50% of our spending, and only the fat cats are making money off it. The same with petroleum. It's not the guy at the convenience store that's making money off the gas sold. He's not making hardly anything on gas sales. He's making his money on over priced items at a convenience. The gas is almost, if not, a loss leader. So, who is making the money? Donald Trump??? Bill Clinton liked to say it was the economy... but without the environment we don't have an economy. Unless these jokers are planning on gobbling up our planet to ruin, and then somehow escaping to a new one to destroy they haven't told us about, then it doesn't make any sense to rape our  land the way THEY do. Is there some planet THEY'VE already discovered and THEY aren't sharing with us? And, even if there is, why wouldn't we want to prolong life on this one before we race to destroy it? I am not a global warming alarmist, but I do believe we could do a much better job of taking care of this place. That's why Bernie almost got me to vote. That, plus he exposes the expensive lifestyle of being poor where your interest rates are higher, if you can even get a loan, and everything else is too. Food deserts lead to people eating at convenience stores instead of grocery stores, which isn't just higher in price, but higher in the price on your health too. However, on an individual level, people are just too lazy to go to the store in many cases, and they are ignorant of healthy eating habits. That's their own fault especially in this day and age of the Internet where you can learn anything besides, and not only, the latest song, or rap, but where it was once thought that religion was the opiate of the masses, today in America, entertainment is the opiate of the masses. I just get frustrated with absolutists and both parties exemplify that characteristic. Maybe I'm naive in that I think we can do better than bullsh*t, and 'that's just the way things work'. Stacey Dash is right about that as long as bullsh*tters are in charge. So, what gives? What really matters in the end is how you treat your neighbor, good old fashioned Bible stuff. We can pass all the secular laws we want in our secular government trying to be controlled by people of varying opinions that want to try to force their ways of thinking on others when we don't need any laws on how we should relate to one another in a brotherly, loving way. The civil rights movement... It didn't end racism. It just threw a blanket over it, and while I realize that's a broad statement and there have been tremendous strides toward more equality in the last fifty years, it's still there, and then we get a guy like Donald Trump to come in and stir that pot again like a witch and her brew. What's more is that somehow he got Evangelical Christians to vote for him which is downright revealing that they can't tell the difference between Jesus Christ and Donald Trump... And, I consider myself to be evangelical, at least in the sense that we are to spread the good news... just not through legislation! In other words, I hear Stacey Dash humming, but I cannot walk past her posts without saying something. I agree, I agree, I agree and then she will tow that company line, and I'm like PLEEEEAZE! If we can just get past the bullsh*t we might actually make progress. By progress, I mean we get past the bullsh*t on both sides. Do you know, without documented evidence, and only by my own observation that BULLSH*T has to be the word most used in the jailhouse. I base this on my ten arrests in the last ten years, which were pretty much all BULLSH*T... Of course, because everyone is INNOCENT in the jailhouse... There are also two other words that make up the top three words used in the jailhouse, but I'll skip those so as not to be INFLAMMATORY as seems to be the custom of so many political people on EITHER SIDE. We lost Prince this year, but he knew all about CONTROVERSY, didn't he? So, I'll commit to you this. I'll never post on the Stacey Dash page again because I don't think I have anything else to say. Yes, black folk need a new narrative. Yes, they need to believe there is at least a way out of public housing, which they don't in many cases. But, along with that, they need to realize they're probably not going to be the next great rapper, or athlete. Don't get me wrong that crosses racial lines  because, black or white, everybody wants to be a rock star. It is the rock star mentality of our youth that holds them back the most, and in continued disappointment under our current system of "mansion capitalism". Much of this stems from the idea projected by our leadership. Even the Obamas are moving into a $5 million dollar mansion. Why don't our leaders live in the village? It stems also from modern American Christianity which by translation is misleading. When Jesus said there are many mansions in his father's house, the Greek word translated as "mansions" does not mean anything more than a home, or dwelling place. I don't have a problem with capitalism. It's fat pig mansion capitalism I have a problem with, and the usage of this word in translation and interpretation sets up a wrong "fat capitalist pig" image of what Christ was talking about. He's the one who turned over the tables in the temple because they were being "fat capitalist pigs".  Simply, put "mansion capitalism" sets up a false image for people to aspire toward and leaves most in disappointment when they only have an apartment to live in.  Tell that to a homeless person, ok? This is the same kind of capitalism that would argue against any government regulations. That's HOGWASH! So, on this journey of life long learning, if that's what we take it for, I've learned a lot. Don't believe anything anybody tells you. Don't make promises you can't keep. Keep the promises you make. If you make promises, under promise and over deliver. This is quite the opposite of how our political leaders work where they over promise, or over objectify, and way under deliver.  This is the biggest problem we face as a nation. But, this is what I was taught as a salesperson by some of the best sales training programs there are. Maybe the first one negates the rest, but I try to live by these things to this day even though I stay in a homeless shelter among people that often behave just like some of our wealthy leaders who are consumed with greed, and hardly ever keep the promises they make, and don't really seem to have any intention of doing so. Perhaps we could throw a suit and tie on one of the homeless and nominate them for president. They behave the same way. What's the difference? Just wealth, that's all; while the fact of the matter, even our poor live like kings in this country compared to the truly "poor" around the world, unless they just choose to live in squalor. So, while Stacey Dash is adored by many, probably by even more before she started down her political path, I still "love her'"!  I just hope she stays on her lily pad, and I don't let her knock me off mine!
