Jason Todd owns a part of Constantine’s soul. From when he was dead and in the realms he played poker against a demon or something and won it.
Fast forward to him being alive and seeing John in the watchtower or something and I HC that you can tell someone owns your soul you feel it or something. And so in horror John realizes Red hood owns a share of his soul. John having no idea how this guy owns it.
Idk if it’s known that Red Hood is Jason or not
Learns his soul was traded and is disgruntled to learn that.

The incredible @kittenintheden tagged me for this, so I'll give it my best shot!
1) How many works do you have on AO3?
Four.
2) What’s your total AO3 word count?
224,051 - which, honestly, is insane because that means I've written (and edited) pretty much two entire novels over the course of last 12 months. The vampire elf is too powerful, guys.
3) What fandoms do you write for?
BG3
4) What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
I'm a fandom newbie, so I don't even have 5, but here are my babies:
Accountant's Guide - Pre-Canon Astarion teams up with a human accountant to frame Cazador for tax fraud. It's exactly as whacky as it sounds.
Magistrate's Advocate - The Magistrate Astarion longfic someone had to write.
Vampire Stay-at-Home Trophy Husband - Reverse Isekai EA oneshot
An Empirical Science - My contribution to the Holy Rolan Empire
5) Do you respond to comments?
Always. Obsessively so. Love responding to comments and chatting with readers.
6) What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
My fics have a good bit of angst and tension and heartbreak, but I always strive for an overall "warm" feeling in my writing, so those moments tend to get resolved at some point. No angsty endings in my portfolio (yet).
7) What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Accountant's Guide is where I gave Astarion everything I wish he could have. Zero regrets.
8) Do you get hate on fics?
Occasionally, but it's pretty rare. Not to make excuses for people hating on fics (because that is despicable; we're working for free here), but I don't think my fics are controversial enough to attract a lot of hate. They're cute. They're wholesome. They don't take themselves too seriously, so I think it's pretty difficult to hate on them.
Although someone once called Scarlett a b**** and sometimes I remember that and I become wrath.
9) Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Explicit smut is something I've really only started doing when I got into fanfiction this past year. I like incorporating it into my longfics to emphasize key moments for my characters and their development, so it's part porn, part plot.
It can get kinky, but it will always be consensual. Dubcon/noncon is a big no for me, personally.
10) Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
No crossovers, but An Empirical Science is where I have a lot of fun butchering adapting Pride & Prejudice lines. I mean, it's a Rolan fic. How could you not?
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know, but I have seen coincidences of very similar concepts and ideas popping up after I've introduced them in my fics.
12) Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes, there's an ongoing Ukrainian translation for Accountant's Guide! I translate the comments every now and then and readers are really praising the language skills of the translator, so that's awesome!
13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, but we chat a lot about my stories on my Discord server, so that's often a little like writing together.
14) What’s your all time favorite ship?
Shalladin (Kaladin x Shallan from Stormlight Archive). I love Brandon Sanderson with all my heart, but for this, I will never forgive him.
15) What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I get very hyperfocused on my stories and rarely work on more than 1 project at a time, so I tend to finish what I start.
16) What are your writing strengths?
Look, my social anxiety makes me a pretty rizzless person to talk to in real life, but my writing is funny. It's charming. I am great at character voice. I keep things real. My OCs don't need to be perfect flawless beauty goddesses to woo the guy; they recite a few paragraphs and swing their fountain pen and the guy is on. the. floor.
Sometimes literally.
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
According to a rather charming public bookmark on my fic, I struggle with "pacing issues" and "questionable narrative choices". Clearly, this person knows what they're talking about, so let's accept it as fact.
18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I think this is generally really difficult to pull off without being confusing (check out "The Wee Free Men" by Sir Terry Pratchett for a really good example how to do it). So unless I had a very specific reason for it, I would prefer to write around it as I've done with Infernal in An Empirical Science.
19) First fandom you wrote for?
Still BG3. First and last? Who knows.
20) Favorite fic you’ve written?
Accountant's Guide. It's the story I wrote when I hit rock bottom and thought I couldn't write anymore. It's the story that made me believe again. My first story in English and by far the easiest thing I've ever written. It's the story I reread when I'm sad, when I'm happy, when I want a hug that reaches all the way into my soul. I am never happier than when people tell me this is a comfort read for them, just as it is for me.
I'm tagging @thedreamlessnights, @purdledooturt, @larvasmoon, @karinamay and @davenswitcher if they feel like sharing their answers!

hey, welcome to my second, but mostly used as main, page.
i am a:
pro-ship which means i don't care what ship you like as long as you aren't hurting anybody.
i don't tolerate in my page any kind of hate. i am also a writer on ao3.
i can be a multishipper but i do mainly enjoy harrymort and tomarry (no, those are not the same thing), so if that doesn't tickle you fancy, you may go.
currently, i write for crossovers pairings and hyperfocused on bucky barnes/harry potter. you can check what i did for them on my twitter, even though my country banned the app from here. @/wnterdeath.
i am on bluesky.
i do enjoy more than one fandom, those being house of the dragon, interview with the vampire, a bit of twilight, a bit of the walking dead, a bit of marvel, a bit of hannibal and s bit of bridgerton (which means i only like one ship, that is polin).

Writer Tag
Thank you for tagging me, @kosmochlor and @saintmathieublanc<3
How many works do you have on AO3?
47 apparently.
What's your total AO3 word count?
469,180
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
1) Attack on Titan rated T fic, macro micro (it was part of the canon there lol), blind character element
2) Zinc Molybdate (rising star but very far behind #1)
3) Another Attack on Titan fic rated T. Anime fans are all under 18 I guess.
4) Negan/Rick mpreg lol. I abandoned it when TWD season 8 deeply disappointed me and hopefully that doesn't happen again with the current fandom D: (I don't think it will unless they do something truly idiotic like kill off Ryan in an inexplicable way)
5) The Selfish Gene
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes I do. It's the least I can do when someone takes the time to write something. Plus many of the comments are so thoughtful and sometimes helpful to the writing process. And I just enjoy responding.
What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?
Um. Probably an "original fic" set in the holocaust, unfortunately. I've written fics long ago where main characters die, but those are not angsty somehow, just dark/shock value.
What’s the fic you've written with the happiest ending?
I think it might be Zinc Molybdate lol. First of all it has an ending. And I'd say it's very optimistic about the human spirit and possibilities for change.
Do you write crossovers?
The only true crossover I ever wrote was Alex from a Clockwork Orange x Norman Bates. But I never crossposted it to AO3 from LJ. Can't imagine why XD I'm more of an AU where you recast the characters into a different world girl.
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Yes, writing bible fic is controversial apparently. Writing holocaust fic is controversial apparently. Mpreg is controversial apparently, although I have never received hate for mpreg on ao3, only on tumblr.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do..... I wouldn't say it's my forte, despite having it in almost every fic and fic chapter lol. I'd say there's always some element of something being 'off'. Normal people having bad sex, or a fucked up pairing having unsettlingly wholesome sex.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I don't think so. In small enough fandoms some ideas become sort of communal, but that's usually just fun 'sharing'.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
YES! And it's in a language that I'm pretty fluent in (but maybe not fic-writing fluent) so it was a surreal, amazing experience. I've translated several fics from Russian and one from French which was a stretch for me.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Only in terms of translating others' fics. I've always wondered if I'd be able to do it with the right person.
What's your all-time favorite ship?
Butchlander. Which probably means my favorite ship is whatever I'm currently hyperfixating on, but I've been on this kick for like 20 months now, so I don't take these things lightly :)
What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?
My very first fic, which I started writing at 18 and abandoned at 19 or 20. I couldn't do it, I couldn't give them a happy ending because the pairing was just too messed up, I couldn't give them a sad ending because that's just not within the realm of what I'm willing to do.
What are your writing strengths?
I think I am all about the Emotional Journey, and thus by extension, characterization. I like writing dialogue, so hopefully that's a strength, otherwise the readers get to suffer lol.
What are your writing weaknesses?
I have to remind myself to write even the most basic setting/scenery details. Most of the time I don't think it's very important. I'm probably not a very visual person (although that doesn't mean I don't love art and fanart!). I can write multiple characters outside of the pairing, and those scenes are fun, but I tend to prefer hyperfocusing on just the 2 mains, which is probably a limitation.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
Oh god, I did it in a fic, and ... I shall leave it as I wrote it in my 20s, but... it was ill-advised. I'd say don't do it unless it's a language you know, and even then... why.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Uh. Peter Pan. And I don't mean during the Once Upon a Time craze that happened much later.
What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?
Within the Boys, I'll also say Starlander. I like it, and honestly the canon leaves much to be desired, so it's fertile ground. Fandomwise, I read quite a bit of Batjokes and Symbrock, but never wrote anything for them.
What's your favorite fic you've written?
I'll go with Zinc Molybdate. It's got that new relationship fandom energy that is impossible to just bottle up and deploy when wanted. But I like them all.
Zero pressure tags (and sorry if you've been tagged elsewhere) @phoenixtakaramono @eutz @merry-andrews and anyone who sees this and has ao3!

for the ask game, number 8: unpopular fandom opinion(s) regarding gravity falls. also, love your work. ^_^
Thank you! ^^
Of course these are based on my assumptions about what's popular and these are takes I haven't seen around in the wild.
This kinda just devolves into a headcanon list towards the end. haha ^^'
OK so hmmmm oh boy there's a lot:
Gravity Falls is NOT the best thing ever it just had a bunch of really talented people working on it who made it super fun. But it's far from a golden standard and I don't think it should be held up as a standard, that idea is reductive and creatively stifling.
I don't like comparing Amphibia, Owl House, Duck Tales (2017), Inside Job and many others to Gravity Falls. The similarities are superficial and those shows shouldn't be living in Gravity Fall's shadow. They deserve to stand tall and cast their own.
On that note Alex Hirsch is just some guy and I don't like his stuff on its own that much. He's not that funny or interesting to me, but he is just some guy. Hope he doesn't turn out to be a shitty dude. *shrug*
Stanley is overrated (I love him but jeez guys. He's not that endearing.)
Rick and Morty x Gravity Falls is a terrible crossover, tonally, technically and thematically. (I also am just very unimpressed by rick and morty in general)
Stanchez is bad. Rick can eat my shorts. Stan "deserves better". Obviously the fan creations are good. But they don't change my mind about the base idea.
The stans both did nothing wrong ever and I love them deeply without comparing them. (joke I know they fuck up, but they fuck up together.)
Fiddauthor is mid and boring. It comes off as amatonormative and people overall are very exclusionary over it wich is just being a dick and using a ship preference to justify it. (I dont mean to be mean but yeah, you guys are doing fine you can take some salt.)
Ford and Fidd are more like siblings than a couple.
Ford and Fidd both dismissed eachother and the miscommunication was on both of them. (Similair to stan and ford it's no one character's fault)
Ford and Fidd's relationship has more emotional weight viewed through the platonic lense of fidds being older than ford by two or three years and "adopting" him as a "little brother" in college, and how that followed them into their 30s even when the age gap had long become irrelevant. Rather than just "gay sad nerds have marital issues" as fun as that sounds.
Fiddleford is a crazy, scary, adorable, kind, stupid, genuis. This man contains multitudes, I try my best not to flanderize him into one over the other. He can be all those fun things.
Fiddlestan is inherently more funny and compelling than fiddauthor. (To me, to me.)
Fillbrick wasn't the devil incarnate he was just a shit dad, wich fair enough is very bad. Haha (idk there isn't enough of him for me to truly hate and I'd rather not assume the worst, I deal with abusive parents enough in my day to day I don't need to add one to my fav silly show haha)
Billford isn't "toxic" it's too bizarre for that, and much is left to be inferred about both characters and their dynamic. (Again, assuming the worst instead of something more fitting and fun) It's obviously bad for ford but I thought everyone hated him when he isn't nice to stan or being shipped with fidds so it should be cool. (Sarcasm)
Dipper and mabel fuck up equally and mabel is generally more empathetic and aware of the world around her than dipper who hyperfocuses. (Been there pal.)
Mabel is more similar to Ford and Dipper is more similar to Stan
Dipper is a good boy but a bit on the boring side for me. He's fine. I like him well enough.
Mabel is more relatable to me, but I relate to dip's anxiety disorder so bad.
Dipper would NOT grow up to look like Ford. He'd look like shermy or stan.
Mabel would grow up to be bigger and broader than dipper. She'd also be the one to get glasses and look more like ford. She's already halfway there with the hair and jumpers (sweaters)
Jokes about ford failing to impress girls are cringe, heteronormative and bad. And ford doesn't like anyone. (Bill is his own can of eldritch worms)
Dipper doesn't like girls in the way he thought he should and that's why his crush on wendy played out the way it did, it was never really about her, it was about his relationship to her. How she helped him find someone to admire, and was kinda his first real friend who he felt was cool and understood him, heteronormativity made him think he liked her romantically. He so obviously didn't that it hurts my soul.
Mabcifica is underrated as hell and more interesting than dipcifica. That being said.
I do ship dipcifica but in a queer way. You guys don't get it. They're queer.
The cis/heteronormative takes where pacifica and dipper have children together and dipper looks older but Pacifica is just her kid face on a sexy lady bod make me uncomfortable.
And that's why Dipper, Mabel and Pacifica could grow up into a polyamorous "Vee" relationship. [When one person is dating two people who aren't dating eachother, in this case obviously cause they're twins. It forms a "V" from Pacifica to the Pines twins ^^]
What was this ask originally about?

the ones that are bold, italic and rainbow are my current ones i'm looking for everyday, and that i have wips being written as ideas flow like warragamba dam won't this summer.
the ones in bold and italic (and yellow) are for the poeple i am hyperfixated on, but they're such a side character (or dead) there's not nearly enough stuff or variety. (i might have started fics, but because no inspo, they didn't get real far.)
the ones in bold (orange) are my backup ones to prevent burnout (like, i'll actively look for works sometimes - i can get distracted by these sometimes - and i'll sometimes get an idea and start writing)
the ones in bold (and red) are the ones that there is annoyingly little new content for. i'll look at them, sometimes, mainly to check for new content. I'm still fixated on these people, and wanna read stuff about them but i need variety. i might have started some fics about them, but they were either never posted, or on hiatus forever.
the ones in italic (and pink) are the ones i'll still read (if i'm bored, i'll pull out my folder of bookmarked search terms with these characters - or i can fall down a rabbit hole and not get completely bored, but i'd only be there for like an hour - but i didn't stick around with the hyperfixation long enough to have a folder of wips on, or they were before i started writing again). I've got major burnout. I still love the character- just.... burnout.
and if they're normal (and purple)... they're there, i might read it?? probably not go looking for it, but maybe. i'm burnt out of these characters/fandoms, so i might need to wait a bit before i get back into it..
if they're small-ified (or subtext or whatever it's called), then the only reason i would touch it is because i got an email that a book has updated, and i'd have to really like that book. i've probably hyperfocused on it for waaaaaaaaaay too long and the burnout is immense
below is my rambling.
c!technoblade
i was watching this amazing person for 7 years, by the time he died. i wouldn't say i 'love' him, because that'd be creepy, but i do admire the character he created. there is very little variety now.
hatake kakashi, haruno sakura:
this is oooooooooooooooooooooooold. no idea how i got into kakashi, but i did. then i came back to fanfiction after like 2 years (no i dont remember what i read before).
then i went to sakura because i read some bamf sakura aus? they're both underdeveloped enough that they're great characters for angst.
tomioka giyuu, agatsuma zenitsu:
giyuu. trauma child. ok, so my sister was watching kny and i was like: huh that's interesting. then i went to ao3, or something- idk why- and it was like 'trauma child'. i read a grand total of... like 3 fics about the trauma child because there's very little variety.
zenitsu. side character with potential. great with crossovers. i really like the crossovers. there was this great one where namikaze minato was zenitsu's brother.
kaminari denki
ok. so much potential. this was before the traitor reveal, so there were so many fics about traitor scenarios. i also kinda fixated on 'lov as family' because of this for a bit. like so many characters in bnha, he is under-utilised and sidelined.
dazai osamu (bsd)
ok. i wanna give dazai a massive frickin hug. so much hug. i love him and his little suicidal self. but i read so much so quickly that i burnt out like nobody's business like 10 months ago.
zuko
trauma child. but toasty. thankfully, zuko is a character that has more than 10 minutes of screentime, but a lot of mystery and chances for canon divergence. love the toasty trauma child
ace (OP)
ok. no idea how i got into one piece, but i did. guess who i hyperfixated on? the person who dies, with a grand total of like... not much screen time.
yaoyorozu momo
momo is queen.
skull (khr)
no idea how i got here, but great crossovers! potential! who knows what it is!
yato (noragami)
no idea where this came from either, but the noragami fandom is basically dead and that is very sad.
sigma (bsd)
androgynous child. beautiful, book child.
inumaki toge
magic words. blue and i have big book. but burnout.
yuuta okkotsu
uchiha 2.0 and magic word boy's bf.
ahsoka tano
this one was fucking years in the making.
commander fox (cc-1010)
no idea how i got to this mf, but caffine addict + constant exposure to sith lord and- *shudders* -politicians... means good angst
loki (mcu)
no idea where he came from either, but great stuff. angst and the whole shtick.
bucky barnes
immaculate angst.
tony stark (but only the iron dad variant)
tony as a dad fills my fatherless heart.
peter parker (kinda-not-really)
tony needed someone to dad.
matt murdock
angst. beautiful. blind vigilante lawyer. so much angst. however, i've read so much i have become burnout incarnate.
jason todd
no idea how i got here, either. but: dead. child. crime alley.
ANGST!!!
spencer reid
i found him and now i love him and i wanna give him a hug. he's perfect.
hyperfixation sucks I think just a little too hard about a guy who isn't even real and I could start crying any second
#this took for fucking ever#and now im done#hyperfixations#are pain#god#im actually autistic#(that's true i am)#i got the entire mental she-bang#if i was born 50 years earlier i would've been killed due to insanity#or committed suicide#whihc#i still might do#but#y'know#im also kinda relying on the fact that no one reads the tags?#bye

So I generally catch Sarah Zed’s video essays on Youtube, because I find them interesting and engaging and pertinent to that Fangirl life. I learn a lot from her deep dives (Johnlock conspiracy, Homestuck, etc), and I also get to revel in the sheer chaos when she touches on something I do know about (the Destiel drama).
Last night she dropped a video asking the question: Is Fanfiction Art?
And obviously, if you’re following this lil space, you know this is relevant to my interests.
Except in watching the video, I kind of found that it...wasn’t.
That, I am, officially, entering my late thirties at the end of the month, and that I don’t...
Care.
And I guess I hadn’t realized just how hot a topic this was for people. I didn’t realize people cared so much about whether their fanfiction should or could be labeled as art. I never thought about it before.
Generally, when I write, it is out of a love of something I enjoy. And/Or I have been taken over by the single-minded writing beast and I can’t seem to stop hyperfocusing (which is how things like Fashionable People came out so fast). It never seemed important whether or not what I was doing was art.
It’s just a thing I do that happens to bring me joy, and I like that it brings a small subsect of other people joy as well. I don’t always write for the same fandom (if you’ve been following this space long enough, you’ve seen me go through many, many fandoms), and maybe sometimes my stuff gets repetitive, but I still find it enjoyable, and as long as that’s true, I’ll likely keep doing it.
For as long as I’ve been in fandom, though, fic has been mostly derided. At the tender age of 13, my older brother called me a hack for writing X-Men fanfic instead of trying to write my own stories.
Most people who are not in fandom think that fanfiction only consists of smut. And while there certainly is a lot of that (and I am responsible for a microscopic portion of it), there’s also a lot of not that that many people don’t realize is there.
But it’s interesting to me that there seems to be this tug of war between traditional, published literature (plenty of which is utter garbage), and fanfiction (plenty of which is perfectly engaging and some of which can be wildly deep and thoughtful).
Zed also made the distinction between published works about pre-existing characters and worlds in the public domain vs. Fanfiction. For instance, Dante’s Inferno isn’t fanfiction, even though it takes place in the already established world of The Bible.
And I just don’t know that I agree. Because, at its base level, it is fanfiction. And to say that it is not, or that the wild audiobook I read on Audible that was a Sherlock Holmes/Dracula crossover is not, kind of makes Fanfiction feel like a dirty word still.
I think Zed’s point was that this kind of literature lacks the tropes often present in fanfiction, and that fanfiction is mostly written to be engaging feel-good stories. That it often doesn’t have anything to say about the human condition. And because fanfiction is so often serialized, and gets critique while it’s being written, it often changes the writer’s trajectory.
And while all of that is often true, it is not always true.
And the idea that something can be engaging and feel-good but that means it cannot say anything deep about life feels a little snobby. Keep in mind that Zed is a former fic writer, who has mostly gone on to that video essay life. And she’s quite good at it. But she certainly seemed to view fanfiction as something like training wheels for writers. A stepping stone to original work.
And that can be true. But does that make fanfiction a lesser medium than original fiction? And are there any new ideas under the sun to even write about without stepping on the toes of those who wrote before us? And does that matter? And why do people get so pissy about literature vs. fanfiction anyways?
If everyone takes inspiration or cribs from something else, which has always been the case, aren’t we all just writing some form of fanfiction or another whether we like to admit it or not? Because original fiction doesn’t happen in the vacuum that more pretentious writers like to say that it does. They absorb other stories from other writers, and news articles, and television and movies and video games and anecdotes from friends and family. Their fictional worlds and characters are cobbled together from experience. And if someone is writing an AU of an already established work, it’s not completely different. There are parallels to filling out an original world vs. filling out an already established world in a different way.
And I could be wrong about that. I’ve written original work before and struggled to find an in with new worlds and characters. Fanfiction does have the building blocks already set up. But in some ways that can be hard too, because you’re working in the confines of an existing space. You have to change Midge Maisel and her life and her world completely if you write a story where she never married Joel or became a mother. At that point, you’ve written yourself almost a new character because her life experience is different So...how is that entirely different from original fiction?
And maybe this is too complicated a subject to tackle in a tumblr post. I don’t know.
I don’t know. I think it’s one of the first times I watched one of Zed’s videos and thought “who cares about this subject?” and also “I don’t know that you’re right.”
Anyways.
TL;DR: it doesn’t matter whether fanfiction is art or not, and it doesn’t matter how it matches up to published fiction. We’re all just farting around until the inevitable heat death of the earth. We might as well enjoy what we enjoy.

Fic Writer Tag
Tagged by @arrowmusings and @thehaemanthus, thank you so much you gorgeous souls! <3
1. How many works do you have on Ao3?
6
2. What’s your total Ao3 word count?
68,323
3. How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
Under this psuedonym, just acotar.
But back in my in my fanfiction days I wrote fics for The Mortal Instruments and Vampire Acadmey
4. What are your top 5 five by kudos?
A Court of Faded Dreams
I've Been Looking For You
The Rumor of St. Petersburg
The Outlier
Prologue: Once Upon A Time
5. Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Yes, as soon as I can get to it! I am so grateful for any interaction with my stories and I love talking with people about the content. I don't ever want people's involvement with my fics to go unnoticed/unacknowledged. And now this is going to encourage me to go back through my fics and make sure I've actually responded to all of the comments people have left lol.
6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
As far as my acotar content, everything has been quite angst-free ending wise.
There was a Vampire Academy fic that I abandoned where Rose was kidnapped by strigoi and I never updated so guess that's the angstiest lmao please forgive me I was 14
7. Do you write crossovers?
I guess my Rumor of St. Petersburg fic counts as a crossover? I'm not entirely sure what warrents one, but I'm not opposed to writing them. :)
8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Not yet, everyone has been so lovely and supportive so far!
9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?
I haven't put out any content that is smut for smut's sake, but things will be getting frisky in ACoFD eventually :)
Also I'm not opposed to writing smut for smut's sake. Last summer I wrote smut for people on fiverr for a little extra income and that was some wild times.
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my knowledge
11. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but if anyone ever expressed interest I wouldn't be opposed.
12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I have, but only ever for fun with friends. Nothing I've ever put out to be read by others.
13. What is your all time favorite ship?
For an excessively long time it was Herongraystairs. That love triangle just broke my heart. Now Feysand is definitely up there too. <3
Also I LOVE the Mark/Christina/Kieran ship from TDA because canon poly ships are just underreprented methinks. It's everything.
Also queer representaion will just always make me happy.
14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
This is a tricky question because I've just started producing acotar content. I hope I finish all of my WIPs. The biggest struggle will probably be the ACoFD sequel. I've been trying to work on it but have been feeling very uninspired. And I'll be starting Uni in a week so my free time will be significantly cut down.
15. What are your writing strengths?
This
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
Describing scenary is sooo tough for me. Maybe it's the adhd, but I'm the kind of person who is always tempted to skip over long descriptive paragraphs of scenary because I just find it so... boring? And I feel the same way in my own writing.
It's either that or focus. Having unmedicated adhd is a struggle and unless I'm hyperfocused on the scene at hand, I'll usually be switching tabs every few paragraphs to scroll through tumblr.
17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
Yeah, I enjoy it! I love stories that focus on different cultures/histories/etc outside of the Western world. Of course, as long as it's done correctly and with respect for those cultures.
18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Vampire Academy. I was obsessed.
19. What’s your favorite fic you’ve ever written?
A Court of Faded Dreams is currently my baby. <3

thanks for the tag @imwritesometimes!
How many works do you have on AO3?
8 (I write so much for never finishing or posting anything, heh.)
What’s your total AO3 word count?
7228
How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
3ish: The Mummy, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Dragon Age, and I’ve written some general Superman/Batman stuff that’s somewhere on Live Journal.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
1. The Problem 2. About That Kiss 3. Adaptation 4. The Reason 5. The Trouble with Mages (oof, I can’t vouch for those last two, they’re OLD)
Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Yes! I always try to, at least. Very few things make me feel better than someone taking the time to leave a comment, so I really try to show my appreciation. Especially in a small fandom, I feel like it’s really important to talk to each other whenever we get the chance.
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
I have so much random angst sitting in my Google Docs and none of it ever gets finished. A decade old Lois and Clark fic is probably the angstiest thing I’ve ever actually posted. Maybe one day I’ll complete another.
Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?
Crossovers are generally really not my thing, though a friend and I have been working together on a Mummy/The Old Guard (Mummy heavy, mostly just taking concepts from Old Guard) fic that has been so much fun.
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Luckily, no.
Do you write smut? If so what kind?
I write and RP so. Much. Smut. And again I never post any of it. I should go through and see what I can dust off to edit and post.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not other than that crossover I mentioned, but it’s been a really good time.
What’s your all time favourite ship?
Surprise, Rick/Evy is my absolute heart and soul. I enjoy throwing Ardeth in there for fun too, but those two are non-negotiable and just the best ship the world has ever seen.
What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
Ugh, so many. There’s this Ardeth/Rick/Evy thing set after TMR that was supposed to be complete PWP but slid into heartfelt with a side of hurt/comfort and just kept growing and growing until I lost steam.
What are your writing strengths?
I feel like scene setting and descriptions (settings, character actions) are probably my biggest strengths.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Plotting, for sure. And just generally writing in a linear fashion. *shakes fist at ADD*
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
As far as my own writing goes? I like at least throwing in some words or phrases if a character speaks a different language, but depending on the language it makes me a little nervous. I can always check my French with a friend, but I mostly have to rely on Google for Arabic and that’s not my favorite tactic. It is fun to research, though!
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Ha, The Mummy actually. I’ve gone full-circle. I wrote some truly awful stuff that’s still somewhere on ff.net when I was a teenager, then moved to the Lois and Clark fandom for a number of years, and then I drifted fandomless and sad for another number of years until my brain hyperfocused on The Mummy again, and here I am.
What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?
Hmm, good question. I have a love/hate relationship with them all. It’s more of a short, experimental thing, but I think The Problem might be my favorite. It was a fun little thing to write.
zero pressure tags @tinydooms @wingsyouburn @belphegor1982 and anyone else who is interested!

FMA Xover! (I love Final Fantasy so seeing a crossover is 👀)
YES HELLO ok the way im gonna organize this is that Im going to put backstory stuff here and then snippets under the cut so the post isn't a mile long. Also this will 100% be me just rambling </3
FFC1: this was like I said before, for a contest, where I was exploring the POV of a very minor character. I was also using this fic as a way to practice my more flowery writing and go full effort with it, basically, and also to make it an extended metaphor. kinda. I was also trying to portray Bertholds hyperfocus + grief making his mental health plummet and it is VERY DIFFICULT because writing from the POV of someone with poor mental health when they don't actually realize their mental health is bad is. very hard to do subtly. n e way.
FMA Xover: OK SO FUNNY STORY. my twitter friend got me into ff7 bc of the remake so I started watching a playthru of it and ended up hyperfixating on it bc adhd brain go brr. however ! I lost the hyperfixation about a quarter of the way through because I started watching fmab and went absolutely bonkers over that! but I got this idea after the fact and despite knowing the absolute bare minimum about ff7 and only gaining knowledge through fandom osmosis I hyperfocused on this fic at about 3 am and word vomited it onto a google doc on a school night. Ended up manifesting every ounce of sarcasm into Roy Mustang and basically its just How Much Can I Bully Mustang: the fic. Also wanted to absolutely CRANK this mans cunning bastard ways and was just gonna make him a sly mf the entire story. In the snippet I'm posting here, the feeling Roy gets when he uses his alchemy is him sensing chi, which I’ve decided is going to be connected to the Lifestream and mako, and he can sense faintly despite not being trained in alkahestry because of the copious amounts of mako from Midgar’s reactors. It isn't very fleshed out bc it only has like,,,, 1500 words methinks. but. sorry this is such a long ass ramble HAH.
Also bonus fun fact: I worked on both of these at the same exact time and they are both entirely different tones and tenses. ones present tense and one is past so I got myself Very Confused while writing at 3 am
Snippets under the cut :)
FFC1:
“Yes, Father?”
Riza stands in the doorway, her hand flexes against the handle, once, twice, before securing its hold. Her knuckles are white, her face ghast, dark bags pull below immutable eyes. Her back is ramrod straight— every part of her stands at attention— betrayed only by the restless movement of her fingers. She looks at once both weathered and guileless. It is the first time he has looked at her in days. The first time he has studied her in years.
If he were a better man, he would notice her hollowed cheeks and the gaunt set of her knees. If he were a better father, he would care.
I have so much work to do.
I cannot let the dogs in.
The wooden handle is light in his hands. The silver needle burns in the candlelight. Ink the color of blood poised at its end.
The salamander on her flesh.
She looks just like her mother.
-
FMA Xover:
He froze, however, at the feeling of something squirming in his gut. The feeling was too needled to be the rolling pain of nausea, and it spread from his abdomen and straight up his spine before it released him in a full-body shiver.
Well, that wasn’t normal. But he was an alchemist, and thus a scientist, so the concept of multiple trials was ingrained in his very being.
He poked his head out from behind the dumpster to make sure no passersby were paying him any mind. The loud bustle of city life wouldn’t have worried him if he knew where the hell he was, but if there was even the slightest chance he was in an enemy country, where alchemy was far less weaponized or even common, he couldn’t risk it. Being caught in Amestrian blues using alchemy behind a dumpster was already bad. But that didn’t even include the fact that he wasn’t just some nameless soldier, either. He’s the Flame Alchemist, Hero of Ishval, leader in the Coup d’état of 1915, and now, 5 years after The Promised Day, he was a major general and the most obvious choice for Führer Grumman’s successor. To be caught in an unknown country with his ignition gloves soaked through and subsequently—he sighed—useless was damning.
-
ok ty for letting me ramble i don't post my writing a lot bc it embarrasses me more than posting my art does but I hope u enjoyed
#flantalks#my writing#also I can’t promise I’ll finish these ANYTIME soon bc I work in quick bits of focus and then don’t look at them for like three months#which is frustrating but alas that is the way my dumb neurodivergent brain works#hate it here I rlly do#ty for asking ab them tho I like talking ab it#I need to post my writing more but I never finish things and when they end up being multi chap I drop it after one chapter#f in chat for all my story docs that will never see the light of day#fma#fmab

romance headcanons
name: park tae-joon (alias: kim hyeon)
nickname: “Joon” !! Though generally the only people to ever call him that were Mila and Mystik. And “TJ,” maybe, I can see that one being thrown around a bit.
gender: male.
romantic orientation: he generally avoids relationships and is not extremely interested in others sexually or romantically, but it all comes down to the circumstances and particularly to how he connects with someone. He doesn’t care about the specifics of sex or gender — I do personally tend to lean towards writing gay relationships, but that’s a me thing, and I want to emphasise that it doesn’t really matter to Crypto. I’m generally willing to try what he is willing to!
preferred pet names: hasn’t had any to speak of.
relationship status: single, but might fuck around, might settle down and find happiness in a committed relationship with mirage apex legends, haha just kidding....... unless????
favorite canon/fandom ship: God I have a few... I know that Cryptage (Crypto and Mirage) is a really big thing for the fandom (fic author once called it a “rarepair” and i was like huh??? are you kidding fam), and I personally love exploring their dynamic with vanishout. They have a rough start, but there’s no other person Crypto loves more... im emotional over Them, and Crypto is honestly so smitten. Their ship make me happy
I am also a big fan of Crypto and Octane! Something I’m messing around with whilst writing with deathchasing. They’ve got a lot of potential to go places, where exactly I’m still unsure, but guess we’ll sort that out later. :)
I am generally interested in shipping anyone with Crypto if there’s enough chemistry or an interesting enough dynamic. The only other characters I have on the brain though that I want to ship Crypto with are Bloodhound, Caustic, and Gibraltar. As of now though, I haven’t really properly discussed a ship with anyone else but Julie and Kabu.
favorite crossover ship: I don’t really have any! I can’t really think on the spot of one, either. I haven’t really taken Crypto out of his default Apex verse yet, but I’m willing to try.
opinion on true love: It exists, that much he knows. Love is what carried Tae-joon through life even as an orphan on the streets with nothing to his name. It’s what helped him survive, because he worked and fought tooth and nail every single day for the people he loved. Mila, and later on Mystik, proved without a doubt to him that platonic love exists and is one of the most powerful forces he could know. Without them, I’m not sure where he’d have ended up. He believes in love, perhaps with more conviction than most things.
BUT as for romantic love... sure, he’s absolutely sure it exists. But he’s convinced it’s just not something he can have. Like... Tae-joon’s been through shit, earnt the life he had before the Games with his own blood, sweat, and tears. He knows full well that he has worth, that he is deserving — but the way the Syndicate directly and indirectly stripped him of everything that he loves and cares about really hit him hard. It’s tough for him to reach out and connect with people, and even tougher to allow himself to love again after he’s been taught time and time again that he will lose everything he has valued so dearly, worked so hard for.
And he’s afraid for the people that might be in a relationship with him; loving Crypto doesn’t just make him vulnerable, he puts anyone who cares about him in direct danger as well. In that sense, he doesn’t think he deserves love. Even if he found it with someone who’s willing to care about him, the guilt of making them a target for the Syndicate... bad. It’ll take a hell of an exceptional partner (willing to put themselves in danger and to convince him that they’re okay with this) for Tae-joon to reach a point where he believes he is allowed to have love, and that he deserves it.
opinion on love at first sight: "amused at first sight” more like when it came to Mirage. I don’t think he’s really met anyone he instantly feel in love with on sight though, not as Park Tae-joon and certainly not as Crypto... it’s not hard to feed into the craving for human affection and for someone who really cares when he does slowly edge closer to someone. Like, when he actually allows them to be near him and lets them start forging some bond of trust. Honestly, love is never the first thing on his mind when he meets people, not even when he was living a civilian life as Tae-joon; there were always more important things to focus on.
how ‘romantic’ are they?: Even before the Games, he didn’t really have a great way of going about expressing emotions and communicating how he feels, let alone when it comes to unfamiliar notions of romance. He’s not entirely emotionally stunted, but he has a way of hyperfocusing on work, on taking comfort in things mechanical more than human, and rarely lets people interrupt him when he’s on a roll. He’s fairly aloof, but once he loses his previous life and identity, he comes to a realisation that he took human affection and contact for granted. Unfortunately he has no choice but to live without it after that; I think getting into a relationship, he’d be massively awkward about it to start with, but would quickly warm up and learn to be affectionate. He wouldn’t go out of his way to be, but he definitely would know the importance of even the simplest of gestures. He’d make it a point to show he cares, because he knows it’s not always obvious to someone that they’re loved — even fi it may seem obvious to others. At heart, Tae-joon’s a very soft and very caring person and does try to show it where he can.
ideal physical traits: Doesn’t matter to him. If he starts to love someone, he WILL find attraction in someone inevitably whether they are conventionally attractive or not.
ideal personality traits: he is... weak for soft and kind people. also loves someone who can match him in terms of intelligence and ability, someone who is good with banter. a good sense of competition. people with drive and ambition. there’s probably a tonne more, but it’s just not coming to mind right now.
unattractive physical traits: Tae-joon grew up on the streets as a child, parentless and homeless. He saw it all. It wasn’t hard for him to learn that there’s far more admiration and beauty to found in other things than in the physical appearance.
One point I do want to cover though: He thinks the physical result of his own augmentations and implants are unattractive. They’re a huge part of his survival and certainly technological marvels (designed all by himself, though he found outside help to have them implanted). But having to virtually gut and replace so much of himself really dealt a blow to his whole concept of his humanity and physicality. He has trouble seeing himself as a person sometimes, much less an attractive one with the enhancements he’s gone through.
unattractive personality traits: stupidity. ignorance. unwillingness to learn. taking things for granted, wasting life away. selfishness and lack of empathy / sympathy for others. betraying the loyalty and the trust of the people who love you. complete lack of morals or ethics. acting like you’re something you’re not. people who view themselves above others (even though.. he often does... hahaha)
ideal date: He doesn’t really have any standard of one, not really having been on one before (though can bet that Mila has tried to hook him up multiple times with a blind date or something, they always fell through or Tae-joon just didn’t want to).
do they have a type?: not entirely, I do like to joke around that he’s into himbos though. One himbo specifically, but overall there’s not any real pattern... I guess he would like soft people capable of showing kindness, who are the exact opposite of him in the sense that they still see beauty and value in the world for all the cruel wreck that it is. People who are willing to be kind without expecting kindness back, who is... willing to show crypto that sort of kindness and teach it to him again 😳😳 people who allow him to be vulnerable and understand the place he’s coming from...
average relationship length: So we’re making up pure lies and saying that he’s had actual past relationships? Fuckin wig... but I think he would enjoy moderate to long-term relationships when he does actually get into them. Obviously, he’s not going to start something with ease (commitment is a bitch when you’re in his situation), but he’s not going to start a relationship with the intention of dumping the other person early on.
preferred non-sexual intimacy: i’m thinking he probably values non-sexual intimacy a lot more than sexual actually, especially since i’m exploring current ships where sexual intimacy is involved but human affection and connection isn’t... which, in turn, just makes tae-joon feel a hell of a lot more emotionally disconnected and lonely. He really values the comfort of just being close to someone, around them in close proximity without worry. Being there with them, listening to them speak and paying them attention even if he’s not the most vocal or performative person... there’s a very real comfort in that. Just leaning against someone, I think, sharing contact that isn’t even necessarily romantic. He just wants to feel, and be felt — that simple human connection is Wildly important for him.
commitment level: Really fucking incredible. Like really fucking incredible if you get him to care enough, help him to open up and allow himself to care.
opinion of public affection: It flusters him (though I think he could learn to like at least a little bit of it. Having someone he loves and can show off in a subtle sort of way), and he probably doesn’t ever allow it anyway on account of not wanting anyone with their eye on him to pick out vulnerabilities. He’s very careful about keeping any relationships during the Games highly secret — no point in putting someone he cares about in harm’s way, and honestly I don’t think he could stand losing another person after he puts in all the effort to learn to trust and to love again. Affectionate gestures in private though, as said, is all good with him.
past relationships?: once he talked to a girl on an online mmorpg and they traded items and he thinks he got the better end of the trade so that was pretty epic. But no, he hasn’t had any.

#dpxdc#dc x dp#dp x dc#I am so hyperfocused on this crossover fandom#jason todd#john constantine#I just think it’d be funny#Jason holding a piece of his soul and laughing#maybe he starts collecting the other pieces trying to own it all#has Danny helping him#of course they met in the realms
DPxDC
Jason Todd owns a part of Constantine’s soul. From when he was dead and in the realms he played poker against a demon or something and won it.
Fast forward to him being alive and seeing John in the watchtower or something and I HC that you can tell someone owns your soul you feel it or something. And so in horror John realizes Red hood owns a share of his soul. John having no idea how this guy owns it.
Idk if it’s known that Red Hood is Jason or not
Learns his soul was traded and is disgruntled to learn that.
