Going back to Fairy Tail in 2022 has been a trip not only was I forcibly reminded of the stander of middle school me's viewing process, I have also discovered it's a still Active Fandom?? With New Content Actively Still Happening. Man.

I really came in here expecting to revive middle school me's self ship, laugh at the amount of fan service, and come out the other side with an awakened appreciation of modern Shounen but No.

Instead I have gotten unhealthily obsessed with health and well being of several fictional 19 year olds and am actively invested in the most minor of character development I can get

Was not expecting this. Do not recommend. I am having a time.
