haechan pulled you into a harsh kiss, all those pent up feelings for you coming back into it. you couldn't help yourself - you melted into it as he picked you up and held you against him tightly. he takes you inside the house, still holding you against him and kissing you. you couldn't help yourself, undressing him and yourself as he hurriedly took you upstairs to his bedroom. he pinned you against the bed, soft whimpers leaving your lips.

you both shared an intimate moment together, your moans and pants coming out laboured as he fucked you gently, passionately, the way he wanted to all those years ago. "lets do it again." you beg as you climb on top of him and lower yourself onto him.

your mum had visited and gave you the letters she had hidden from you. you sat down beside haechan in the porch. "so.. what are you going to do, y/n?" "i don't know.."

haechan gets up from the chair, running a hand through his hair as he kicks it back away from him. "so you make love to me.. and then you go back to your husband!?!" he sounds so destroyed. "was that your plan!?"

you both get into a heated argument, arms flailing. "you're bored and you know it!" "you son of a bitch.." you shout as you walk back to your car. "look at us - we're already fighting!"

"thats what we do! we fight! you tell me when i'm being an arrogant son of a bitch and i tell you when you're being a pain in the ass - which you are.. 99% of the time! i'm not afraid to hurt your feelings."

he slams your car door shut and leans against it, you walk over and groan, "so what?"

"so what? it's not going to be easy, it's going to be really hard and we're going to have to work at this every single day but i want to that because i want you. i want all of you, forever, you and me. everyday." he has tears in his eyes and you can't help but break into a sob.

he continues, having a go at you and trying to make you decide who you're going to choose. "what do you want?" "it's not that simple-" " god damn it - what do you want?" he strains out.

you tell him you have to go. he walks away from your car and you immediately get in and drive away as he watches you, arms behind his head. he watches you go and that breaks your heart. you sob to yourself in the car, not watching where you're driving before swerving off the road and taking a breath. you just nearly crashed..

you decide to read the letters that haechan had wrote for you before continuing to drive off and wanting to leave him behind. maybe it was for the best.

Pauls contribution to the Spy Museum Berlin

I recently visited Berlin and wanted to check out the spy museum Paul did the music for, ze Deutsches Spionagemuseum, which is located at Potsdamer Platz. It's probably the last Rammstein related spot left that I've been wanting to check out in the city and I finally came about doing so in the one day I was there. The last time they unfortunately had a fire alarm going on, so I couldn't go in, but this time I succeeded!

I really ... I can't get myself to be interested in History Museums and the like, I don't know why. Maybe it's because my dad dragged us kids through every single castle, open air farm museum and medieval market South Germany had to offer at the time, resulting in the adverse effect of me, as an adult, feeling like I need to go sit down after having taken five steps into a Natural History Museum. I guess that means I'm satiated. Sometimes I visit art exhibitions though, but even those drain me so much, I just about run through them and am in a bad mood afterward. Have you heard of Museum Fatigue, because that's a real thing! Anyhow, that's why I made it my mission to walk through the spy museum looking only for the music bits playing. I spent about 10€ at the entrance and then walked in through something resembling a personnel sluice.

At first, I thought they had removed the music as I didn't hear any sounds at all for quite some time after going in, apart from some shooting noise coming from the one corner. However, on the second floor I made out a brawarahh and pushed past info screens, a real-life Trabi and spy standees trying to find out where the sound was coming from. I wanted to try recording some of it as well.

The speakers were put up high above, and I stood there looking like a complete nut holding one arm outstretched above my head pointing my phone at the ceiling. Luckily there weren't too many people there, but what does it matter to me, I was on my mission.

Ever since I had first heard about it, I've been wondering how Paul came about doing this. I guess the most likely explanation is him having a friend involved with the spy museum, asking him if he wanted to put a small part in or something similar. I think Paul is someone who would be happy contributing to a culturally significant occasion or institution, if he sees fit. As can be seen on his Instagram, he does like to look at attractions and things alike, and I imagine him being quite enthusiastic about doing so:

Look at the last picture – he has a good time. I think it's often the bunch consisting of him, Olli and Schneider out and about looking at local attractions and exploring the cities they play in. Jens tagging along from time to time :^)

The Spionagemuseum has quite a few things you can get hands on with, like solving small riddles or trying out a lie detector test. Or even making your way through a laser field! I, well, I just looked at it, but I can see Paul getting in there, rolling around on the floor. It's definitely a well produced exhibition!

They also showed footage of spy movies like Jason Bourne, Mission Impossible, James Bond and so on, with music playing next to it and, you know, I'm quite confident that one wasn't done by Herr Paul Landers, but just the original score. Although there is a song in the laser room where I was sure it was a movies soundtrack as well, but on the RammWiki page there is a song called "Laser Room" so it must be from Paul! Only goes to show his versatility :) Correct me in case I'm wrong and it's a film score after all.

At first, I wanted to include my recordings in this post, then I got a bit scared of violating copyright law, so I'm not gonna share them here (unless we have a German law expert on here telling me it would be fine?), but feel free to DM me. It's mostly eerie sounds, plus that one film score-like bit.

As for me I was first introduce to Tolkien's universe thanks to the movies when I was a child and even thought I was too young to remember what I watched I had favourite characters. Now I wish I could watch it Like that again, rediscovering everything each time.

Then a little before the hobbit movie was out my brother was gifted a dvd set of the extented version so we watched them together and as he is a little older than me he also land me his copy of the hobbit. I was 11 and I read it so fast ! I liked it very much. Then we watched The Hobbit movies and I'm not gonna lie we only saw them twice or thrice and I don't remember the story, only that I like watching them and loved the music ( I need to rewatch them ).

Years passed and I don't have time to read anymore, but the Lotr movies are still movies we watched often during breaks. My brother and my cousins are nerd so I'm used to hear a lot of talk about lotr, the differences between movies and books, they recounted me some part of the Silmarion and it's amazing. Truly the work/world of Tolkien is one that is beautiful to share, and experiencing it by someone telling you a story they memorised, wonderful.

A few years ago ( I think ? ) a new french translation was made and I read about the how and why and it got me Interested in buying the books ( im a bit of language nerd). Between (re) starting uni and life in général I'm only reading them now but finally, I'm reading them !

As for the Rings of Power, I was so hyped, I was Interested in it since they announce it. I really like this project, I think the 2nd season is better than the 1st and I hope that it will continue to improve. I really like the orignal characters and we can see the care there is in the décors and costume.

I wrote a lot im sorry, im that talkative.

But funfact my brother can't physically watch the end of the return of the King without saying " actually sam goes to Valinor too when he is old " ( and I really hope it's in the book and he doesn't say that because I used to be sad to see Sam and Frodo being apart ) ( and here I am talking again )

So, question: What got you into Tolkien?

I was tagged by the lovely @iwanderbecauseimlost in this post.

It was a combination of things to be honest. My Dad read The Hobbit to me and my younger brother when I was six (6) and I was hooked from there. It’s my favourite book and I’ve reread more than any other book. Peter Jackson’s The Fellowship of the Ring had just come out around the same time and whilst we weren’t allowed to watch it yet, my older brother explained the plot and we played the Top Trumps.

My older brother is 10 years older than me and he had already read The Hobbit and LOTR. He also had the Tolkien Encyclopaedia and I consumed it like a rabid animal. It’s where I came across Melkor for the first time and little seven (7) year old me became obsessed.

I didn’t read the actual LOTR trilogy until I was maybe 14 or 15 because I found it difficult to get into; but when I did read it, it was in an omnibus version and I got through all of it in a week.

The Silmarillion I dipped in and out of throughout my teen years but I read it through in its entirety, whilst listening to The Tolkien Professor, during the 2020 lockdown. I loved it.

So Tolkien has been a huge part of my life. It inspired me in GSCE Art and DT: Graphics. I dressed up as Gandalf for The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies with my friends. Me and my brothers quote the films to each other all the time. My wedding had an LOTR theme.

The Rings of Power led me to Tumblr though, specifically, Adar did 😅 and l love the community on here. Adarlings are the best, as are the most of the rest of TROP fans.

I do think thor is being honest about how he thought the world of loki, but never enough to really look, to truly see his brother. never cared enough to dig deeper. and the mistakes loki made have just made it easier for thor to further ignore the deeper problems with his brother. you can love someone dearly, but still never truly see them. I wonder if knowing of thor's love makes it better or worse for loki. to be so loved, but for it to still not be enough to have been seen, to have been helped at all. or easier for it to be a lie and never loved at all, for it makes more sense to loki, because if you loved him why would you never dig deeper? why could you not see what was wrong? what was being done to him? how he felt? maybe that's why he was so adamant in the past, brushing thor's words away because otherwise that would mean even then it just wasnt enough. and it's more familiar to him too. the feeling he sits in, the knowledge that he's not loved or understood, that those around him think so little of him. and sometimes familiarity is easier than taking a new and brighter path.

he could be more. but it's hard to do that when everyone around you sees the worst in you and your stuck in a shadow your entire life. ignored. it's why I love mobius so much. he sees what others don't in loki and actually pushes him to be better and is there for him. mobius is truly the number one loki apologist.
